You thought maybe you’d been listening to your music too loud, but it didn’t go away when you stopped entirely to test it out.

You were losing it and only had pain to keep you company. So you decided to hop on the internet instead of asking your doctor boyfriend because the last thing you want to do is bother him about something a quick search may answer.

And you didn’t want to be grilled about why you waited so long to say something.

When you typed in what are the reasons I could be experiencing headaches so often, the last thing you expected was to go down a rabbit hole. You’d done most of the things suggested, frowning as you rubbed at your temple while the insistent thumping persisted. You were convinced that the mindless scrolling and lack of answers was only adding to your suffering.

It was as you scrolled that other things started to fit into what could possibly be wrong, and that’s when the subtle panic started to set in.

Chronic pain?

Fatigue and insomnia?

Tumors?!?!

You were mortified, clicking on random conversations people were having about the same experience and feeling your heart rate increase when almost everyone was saying it’s safer to just go to a doctor because it could be a severe underlying issue. You didn’t want to have to go, but at this point, you needed to do something to give yourself some sort of peace of mind.

You came to the conclusion that in fact, you were going to have to bother Zayne. Frantically, you snatched your phone off the desk and called him, your leg bouncing in anticipation.

“Hello, love,” he spoke gently after picking up on the third ring. You were so relieved he even had the time to answer since he’s at the hospital right now. Typically, you never bother him too much when he’s working, but you needed answers.

He sits himself in the chair in his office, ready to listen to you. “Is everything alright?”

“No!” you exclaim abruptly. “Zayne, I’m not gonna make it!”

If only you could see his face, you would’ve seen the confusion and concern that etched his features. “What are you talking about? Are you hurt?”

“I’ve been in pain for over a week because of these stupid headaches, right? And so to avoid bothering you, I just decided to do my own research….” Your brief silence only makes it more dramatic. “And Zayne, I actually might be dying and I’m bothering you anyways!”

“You’re not bothering me at all. If anything, I’m worried. Calm down and talk to me,” he soothes. “Tell me your symptoms.”

“It’s this sharp pain either right in the middle of my forehead or to the left of my skull. It hurts so much that I feel nauseous sometimes. It’s even happening right now, and the internet and little groups on it are telling me if I don’t see somebody, I’m ignoring a potential chronic illness?!?! There’s no way this is real!”

“How have you tried to alleviate the headaches?” His tone is completely serious, telling you how determined he is to find a solution to ease your concerns and issues. He wishes you told him sooner, but all that matters is that he’s aware now. He doesn’t need to make you feel guilty, he just wants to help you in any way he can.

“I stopped listening to music, drank tea, turned down my phone brightness! I even go to bed earlier! Google is telling me if I don’t go to the ER within three days of the pain, I could experience blurry vision! Babe, it’s been way longer than that!”

The corner of his mouth tilts up. You listed everything but what he first believed to be the culprit. He caught you. “Working yourself up like this will only worsen it. Remember what we’ve done before? Deep breaths.”

Zayne always helped you regulate yourself in times when you’d panic, and he felt it was necessary to do now. Once a few minutes passed and you seem grounded, he continued. “And what about your game that you just bought a little over a week ago? The timeline in which you’ve purchased it seems to match up to when your headaches began. Have you stopped playing and sitting in front of the screen for long periods of time like I warned you about?”

When the realization sets in, you immediately feel like an idiot. You recently bought this new video game that you couldn’t stop playing, and unfortunately developed the habit of sitting close to the computer screen so that you could feel immersed and wore no protection on your eyes from the blue light.

You spend a minimum of five hours a day on it, that’s how addicted you became. Not once did it cross your mind to get off the same game.

“It’s the game,” you frown, sighing at your naivety.

“It is the game,” he confirms. “It’s good that we’ve figured that out, is it not? Why do you sound so down? Is it because you’ll need to give it a break for a while?”

“Partially, but I’m more embarrassed at how quick I was to believe some internet forums instead of just coming to my boyfriend who’s a doctor… I didn’t want to be annoying, only to still be that and I ended up freaking myself out in the process. I’m a mess.”

“You were trying to be considerate of me, but that’s not necessary. Concerns about your health is never something to withhold from me. In general, you never annoy me, love. I will always be here to listen to your every word and make sure to bring you back down.”

“I’m so sorry..” you mumble.

“Don’t apologize. Just instill the practice of finding other things that are easy on your eyes while you leave the game alone for a little bit. Perhaps I can help you find something.”

“I’d like that.” Your tone is brighter and no where near as anxiety induced. “You’ll be home soon?”

“I will. In fact, make sure you’re dressed. We’ll go out for dinner to celebrate,” he offers.

“You’re too good to me. I can’t wait.” You grin so much and he doesn’t even need to see you to know it. He can hear it and that warms his heart.

“It’s what I’m supposed to do. I love you, okay? And come to me when you have health scares from now on. The internet is only so reliable.”

You chuckle. “I will, babe. Promise. I love you, too. I’ll see you later.”

After a few days had passed, you made sure that you followed the doctor’s orders. As expected, the headaches disappeared and not only did you vow to only play the game in moderation, but you would never go to the internet for health advice ever again.

Rook chuckled softly and took another step closer, his hand reaching out to gently lift your chin so that you were forced to meet his gaze. His touch was light, almost hesitant, but there was a tenderness in his eyes that made your heart race.

“And what you see,” he whispered, “is beautiful.”

Your breath hitched. He was close now—so close that you could feel the warmth radiating from him. His eyes locked onto yours, and for a moment, everything else seemed to fade away. The only thing that mattered was the connection between you and Rook, as if he had stepped out of the canvas and into your heart.

“I…” you started, but your voice faltered. What could you even say? That you had been painting him because you were hopelessly enamored with him? That every brushstroke was an attempt to understand the feelings you didn’t quite know how to express?

You couldn’t help but laugh softly. “That’s because you are strong, Epel.”

Epel’s blush deepened, and he muttered something under his breath. Then, in a rare moment of vulnerability, he looked up at you and smiled—a small, genuine smile that made your heart skip a beat.

“Thanks,” he said quietly. “Maybe you could show me how to paint sometime.”

and it’s so cute when you see the same mannerisms and habits he has as a dog when he’s human

he’ll sit there and huff at all the right times when you tell him about your long day

(which was one of the first things you picked up on that yunho wasn’t your typical dog because when you ranted to him it was like he could understand you perfectly)

and like he still has his protective instincts, except when he’s a man he is The Man 

you tell him about some colleague at work who was nasty to you and he’ll be like WHO. LET ME GO BITE THEM

🦔 Still dealing with Pepper and her hyperthyroidism. Had to take her to the emergency vet cause she had trouble breathing? Was there from 1am-7am only to figure out that LONG STORY SHORT she needed to take a shit. 😀 Lots of money and trauma that I really can’t go into detail all essentially for nothing? But better safe than sorry. Just.. ugh. That was a horrible night and I’ll leave it there.

🪺 Anxiety anxiety anxiety. I’m a big ball of it. 🫠 Sleep has not come easily, or at all lately. I wake up in the middle of the night with just ANXIETY. I can’t even remember the last time I had proper sleep. I plan on buying some sleep edibles just to calm my mind because even the melatonin doesn’t work. I feel like the only bright side of me getting like this is that I get way more productive around the house lol I cleaned out the pantry! Reorganized EVERYTHING! Prepped lunch for the loml and even planned out dinner as well. 📝Anything to get me out of my head. The entire time I had LOTR playing. I kept stopping in between what I was doing and crying whenever Samwise spoke. I love him!! 🥹

🛼 I know I’ve mentioned my love for across the spider-verse before. But omg. The amount of times I’ve rewatched it lately is insane! It has to be my most watched movie ever! Whenever I feel awful, I just know I’ll feel better once i watch it. 😌 Lately everything I’ve been consuming is one big valiant effort to keep me from losing my mind.

🥋 Speaking of distractions! I finished the Slam Dunk manga! 🎉 So nice to have one more series crossed off my list! And this is one I’ve been wanting to get into for YEARS! God. I am such a sucker for sports anime idk WHAT it is. Is it the comradery? 🤔Watching underdogs climb their way up from nothing? 💭Forcing themselves to overcome the most difficult obstacles? I think it’s all of it LOLLL the fun I had reading Eyeshield 21 was the SAME fun I had reading Slam Dunk! The time was ticking and they’re stressed and SO AM I lol!! Couldn’t help but tear up at certain times when they’d make a shoot! So funny too cause I don’t give a shit about basketball (same as football for E21) but by the end of the series I knew what certain things meant LOLL sports anime can be educational! 🤓☝️

🍁 I read the translations of Namjoons live stream and I really appreciated how transparent he was about how utterly miserable the army was for him and how he’s still dealing with the mental toll it took on him. In one part he mentions how he feels so different now, and how he would like to redo his space. Throw out clothes that no longer fit him and start over. I feel that so so heavily. I’ve been going through my closet and random things still in boxes. Setting aside the stuff I’ve held onto for far too long, and making space for the new. 🐣

a compiled list of my CESDOC (and general cesare & doc) headcanons because i like them a lot and i am incredibly lonely lol, some of these things are reiterated in my fic but i'll mention them again anyways. - Cesare abhors silence. It reminds him of his time being dead and inanimate. It also emphasises just how undead he is—no heartbeat or breath to cure the silence. So he fills the world with his intrusions on nonsense and constant clammering, fiddling, and tapping random objects. He likes the rain the most because of this. He doesn't have to make the noise himself for once; the world does it for him. That's why he also sticks around Allen, he never stops talking lol. - Allen has a no-shoes policy in his apartment, as much as he tries to avoid traditionalism. I think having no shoes in the house as one of the few distinct Asian traits he inhibits is interesting. Cesare, of course, is a menace and tracks dirt and mud into his apartment anyway. It's a work in progress between the two. (I doodled this one some time ago)

I think both of them are very touchy about the past and concepts of the past. With Cesare, obviously, talking about his life before being dead is distasteful and his life before Allen had been mostly dull. Allen (being what I presume to be a Korean-American), likely lived in a strict household, and everything he does is a rebellious reaction to his past (being a theatre major, involved in the arts, isolated from his family, etc). As a result, both of them are future-oriented, although I think it can pose a threat to Cesare as well because he has to dwell on his immortality and Allen's mortality. Cesare is always running from the future and the past.

This is a classic, but Cesare is constantly cold, and Allen is a literal heater. In some sort of natural instinct way, Cesare is always allured by warm things; he hovers by the engine of the truck, sits in the rays of the sun, trying to imitate what it would feel like if the warmth of blood was still circulating in his system. I think holding Allen is ideal for him; he pretends Allen's heartbeat is his own, mimics the way his chest rises and falls through artificial breaths. Obviously, he's very reclusive about actually indulging in this, being very touch-adverse in a fear of being vulnerable. It's an opportunity for another backstab. If their relationship does get to a trustworthy point, though, I think this is what it would look like. They just talk and hold each other.

A key part of Cesare's hesitance to engage with Allen is his fear of being attached and his immortality. He knows that Allen is ultimately a blip in his thousands of years of being alive, and how it hurts. He learnt that lesson in the first century of being undead. But like a moth to a light, he keeps coming back, and he doesn't know why.

Allen's strange fascination with Cesare is mildly rooted in his being a chronically online kid in the 2000s. I'm going off the assumption he's in his early 20s because he's a theatre major graduate, and the show takes place in the 2020s. He was a creepypasta kid, probably thought of Jeff the Killer and Slenderman as cool. I have a mini-comic of this in another post lolll

Cesare has perpetually calloused fingers, remnants of his duration of being alive as a carpenter... marionette maker... In contrast to Allen's hands, which have not seen the struggle of labour.

Conversations circulate around a lot of bickering, and Allen asks about old worlds and the universe through Cesare's eyes. Cesare always intentionally disappoints him with flat descriptions (occasionally entertaining him, though). I characterise Allen as mostly pretentious until he gets closer to Cesare, when he realises his big performances of intelligence do not fool Cesare whatsoever. Their form of humour manifests in sarcasm and irony.

Cesare's love language is physical touch; Allen's is quality time. It shows in really weird ways where Cesare lingers on every touch, chasing after it instinctually before forcing himself to pull back. Allen just likes being in Cesare's presence. I think Cesare is among the few people who can tolerate Allen's antics.

At the start of establishing Zomburger, Allen would usually show up already in costume and makeup for the day. One day, he neglects to do so, instead opting to do his makeup inside the truck before his shift starts. Cesare doesn't recognise him initially and tries to chase him out with a fly swatter out of the truck, before realising it's just Allen.

In a similar vein, Cesare sometimes gets too used to his employees looking undead. He gets comfortable and lets his guard down momentarily until the illusion drops; a blotchy patch of makeup ruined by water.

Why Cesare likes Allen. I think it comes down to Cesare being so hardened and dulled by the centuries, like a meal he's eaten too many times, and he's sick of it now. Then he sees Allen, still struggling to figure out who he is with his manufactured spontaneity and finding his place in the world, it reminds him of when he was alive. Allen is also an unstoppable force; he is stubborn in his presence, although he asks lots of questions, he doesn't necessarily press on them. Cesare appreciates his patience, having been so used to being isolated because he'd always been difficult to be around. Also, I think it's the fact that Allen is so intimate with having to be forcefully spontaneous and constructing personas, that he sees right through Cesare with his tough act. Everyone calls him boss, Allen calls him Cesare, like he knows the man behind the performative nature of Zomburger. Maybe he does.

Why Allen likes Cesare. If I haven't already made it abundantly clear, Allen struggles a lot with finding his identity. Seeing Cesare with his recklessness and unapologetic strangeness is admirable; that unfiltered existence of being himself is something Allen strives for. Does Allen like Cesare for his mystery? Yes, but it doesn't mean he'll run tail the moment he uncovers Cesare for everything that he is. He still finds his traits endearing and appreciates the qualities that have been shaped by time. Allen is attracted to the ache that Cesare tries to hide underneath everything, the softness between the cracks, as evidence that humanity prevails even in the face of time.

autism time let’s go (/not in a negative way i have autism) stretches hands * I’ll go in order of the character episodes cause why not we have it (see below) i’ll put periods but it will just be to make it more readable not to be intimidating lolll

btw im completely open to interpretations of characters changing throughout the series this is just for fun

Gooseworx has said this series is mostly focused on characters rather than lore, and from what we know, i truly believe it. I don’t think any of the current characters will abstract because of this.

(I put a version of this in the glitch inn discord theory thing so if you recognize it that’s why)

Pomni: we already know her deal pretty well, as we’ve already had her episode. uuuh if anyone’s going to do something important lore wise it will probably be her as she’s the main character but can’t rlly tell what that may be. to review ep 2 though she’s an outcast who has felt like she was nothing and is a logical thinker.

(Kinger and Zooble will there their focus episode but i put it in order of who was revealed to be the ep 3 focus first)

Zooble: From their design (the entire motif is it can be changed at any time) and the fact she doesn’t know his gender, we’re dealing with some pretty clear identity issues. Friends with Gangle seems cool excited for next episode to learn more about them!

Kinger: One of the most interesting characters so far. I feel like we will get to learn more about abstraction though Queenie, the X-ed out door that looks like a female version of him. If i had to guess, since Gooseworx said they were not siblings, they were a couple. (Also judging by his age and the fact he could have been married, he may have been a father yeowch imagine that) I can see the common theory of the insect collection implying he was a coder before getting trapped, but i could also see him being some random guy who just likes bugs lol. He seems like really sweet guy behind his constant anxiety and disassociating.

 Gangle: (My faveorite human rn) Her mask design can be interpreted in a lot of ways but it’s clear that the happy mask isn’t her real personality. My take on it rn is she doesn’t wana bother people with her stuff so she pretends she’s happy? She seems easily embarrassed and def has self esteem lower than the last circle of hell. What’s interesting though is she’s willing to stand up for herself from time to time, even though she’s easily shot down after.

Ragatha: Waaaay too nice for her own good. Also probably has self esteem lower than the last circle of hell and bases her self worth of others approval.  Though she’s been here the second longest, she seems a lot more normal than Kinger. Makes me question how long apart their introductions have been. Probably copes via escapism.

Jax: I can see why everyone is very interested in him cause me too. He seems like the only fourth wall breaky guy (unless you count Caine cause of his intro at the pilot)which is rlly interesting how did he figure out more than everyone else? what’s with the keys? i have no clue lmao. He’s an asshole who makes the best of his situation by torturing everyone else. At the end of the day though, he’s a human and was sad at kaufmo’s abstraction but he probably isolates himself so it would probably be the same for anyone

that’s 6 humans but Gooseworx said we would look into 7 (cause of the “other” part) in her twitter post talking about the character focus timeline so we know our fav character won’t be left behind ⁉️⁉️⁉️ I hear you not asking well my dear hypothetical person, who better to fill the 7th character than Caine?

Why you did not ask? Too bad i’m info dumping. First, he’s the main antagonist and alongside Pomni, the commercial face (or lack their of haha teeth and eye joke) of the series. he’s an important character and loved by many. (and hated equally if not more aside the point lmaooo)

Yes, gooseworx can lie about stuff but I think she’s smarter than to lead this heavy into Caine depth/ angst territory if there wasn’t going to be anything On top of that, the entire purpose of the timeline post was so we know our faveorite characters weren’t getting treated poorly. It’s unlike for a character based show to suddenly drop such a major character for some random other guy were introduced to later or smth. i mean cmon there’s three episodes after all the humans at least one of them has to be focused on my boy.

Caine: I believe he really does have good intentions and wants to help but just does not understand people at all. This means he’s like an anxiety disorder; it wants to help, solves some issues but creates 500 more. Judging by the Tumblr post, loneliness may play a big part in what’s to come? I’ve always had a feeling his front was extremely fake and his VA saying “breaks keyfable” (an act that pretends it’s true) supports that theory. Episode two gives some insecurity vibes when Zooble didn’t want to go on the adventure. I find that pretty interesting cause he didn’t care at all if people went on the gloink adventure or not. Maybe he puts some adventures over others and he could have been proud of the candy adventure cause more time and care was put into it and he made a new AI. Why did he blue screen? i feel like he could have some blockages on what he can say built in though im not sure why he was blocked then if he even was. one of the biggest questions i have ab him currently tbh. what’s with him grabbing his cane like that in ep 2? if i had to guess simply be nervous = that? His VA also knows some depth to him even though his focus episode is likely going to be at least one of the last 3 episodes, which they have not gotten to recording yet. You know what this means Caine angst solidarity club? Sad Caine so more fan angst appetizers before the main cannon feast let’s friccin go‼️‼️⁉️⁉️

Kiyomi Takada!

oookayy i need to round up my thoughts into words for this so here goes:

Favourite thing about her: probably the fact that, even if we don’t see it, she was super driven and achieved so much ay such a young age by herself. I mean, she’s Light’s age and already NHN’s #2 newscaster? She couldve done so much better without Light’s interference :(

Least favourite thing about her: she is veeeryy superior and I definitely could see her being ‘not like other girls’, given the way she talks about Misa. She also clearly thinks shes too smart to be being manipulated by light (girl! Not how that works!)

favourite line: i actually don’t have a specifc line for Takada, just… everything about her final conversation with Light… she’s realised that, if it was manipulation the whole time, this is a betrayal… but she knows better than to be manipulated, right? So this can’t be the moment she’s betrayed. (Right?)

brOTP: her and Mikami would probably get on really well even outside of Kira, they seemed like they got on super well, or well enough that Mikami remembered her. I can picture them having brunch gossip dates and stuff lol

OTP: i don’t think a lot about ships for Takada, but i’d say Kiyomisa. They need to dump light together and realise that comphet is wayyy less fun than lesbianism.

nOTP: honestly her with any man. Im sorry i cannot ever see her being even slightly attracted to men, insanely strong comphet is as far as i can personally tolerate

random headcanon: when she stands up in the back of the truck after calling light, she isn’t being controlled- she’s about to try and get out. Because we hear the heartbeat sound effects after she’s standing in the middle of the truck, which i take to mean she wasn’t under his control until that moment :(

unpopular opinion: she wasn’t that dedicated to Light as a person, she convinced herself she liked him (aforementioned comphet) but she probably wouldn’t have seen him again very often if he hadnt revealed he was kira. She was more interested in kira than she was light, i mean.

Hi, so this is random and not about larry but I was browsing through the iwtv tag and saw your old post so I recognized you cause I follow you(so you're the only one I felt safe enough to send this to) but I was just wondering since I haven't watched the show and I want to but I'm just scared that it may not be worth it if there would be other ships besides loustat which is my favorite, and I know there's an upcoming season but I'm not sure if they would have enough scenes from what I've read. What do you think and if you could share any thoughts or suggestions I'd love to hear about that before watching the show.

hi!! well lolll i’ve had a journey with iwtv lemme tell you and if the post you’re referring to is that fucking lestat post i’m already bracing myself to be annoyed by even more notifs when he does some fuck shit in s3 djdjdjdj

anyways so while i do not recommend joining the fandom as it is a cesspool of racism and is very much not fun, i do recommend watching the show bcos it is soooooo fucking good. like it is a gothic masterpiece and is single handedly responsible for the vampire renaissance in my not humble opinion when it comes to that show bcos it is the best thing on television. i am a loustat shipper thru and thru and they dominate s1 so i dont think you have to worry about scenes. s2 not as much bcos the focus is on louis (but he’s my favorite character so i was perfectly fine with that and im biased so idk if lestat is your fave you might struggle) but les is still very much a presence if that makes sense

now for other ships besides loustat unfortunately yes there are many. lestat is a bit of hoe but louis is his constant if that makes sense like he doesn’t love anyone but louis but there are a lot of rival ships in the fandom which makes fandom dynamics annoying as always you know it’s nothing new. louis also has a love interest in s2 which… if you can even call it that. and tw in s1 there is something very abusive lestat does to louis in episode 5 that pretty much rocked the fandom.

now for the upcoming season i have no idea and that’s part of the reason i fully transitioned back to larrying. there’s a lot of weird shit going on bts with this fyc press run sam is on (the actor who plays lestat) who has been placed front and center for promo and jacob (the actor who plays louis) and all of the side cast of color have not been included in press at all which is unlike how it was before (don’t even get me started on the lack of money invested in the show when jacob was still the face vs sam now being the face i have many fucking posts ranting about amc’s racism)

it does seem s3 will be very much the lestat show as it is based on his pov book the vampire lestat (the producers promised louis would still be a main character but idk how much i trust that anymore) like the wave of trumpism in the us and the roll back on diversity going on down there idk how much that will effect loustat in the upcoming season. they have also taken extremely long to write s3 like literally about a year which makes me think rewrites happened.

i will unfortunately be watching to find out bcos that show has me in a chokehold but if you end up not wanting to i feel the first two seasons are a completed story so it will be fine if you stop there. ♥️

A/n: Aww thank you so much! ofc!! Thank you for being my first requester!! If anything is wrong pls tell me bc I haven't watched the movies since 2020 haha I have just been reading fanfics lolll. Also, idk what Hogwarts would do if a students parent would die or something so this is probably wrong sorry haha

Just like every other morning, Cedric walks to the Great Hall to start his day with having breakfast with his girlfriend, Y/n. They have been dating for 2 months and everything was going great. Cedric took her on dates, Y/n helped him through the stress before and after the Triwizard Tournament, and they were always there for each other.

Y/n wasn't much to show when something was wrong, during her relationship there was never a time where she would pick fights or make anything about her. She was a very selfless person and that was one of the things Cedric loved about her.

Cedric sat down in his normal seat, next to an empty spot which usually has Y/n in it. Maybe she woke up a bit late, he told himself, not thinking anything of it. A few minutes went by and he assumed that she was in bed sick, so he grabbed a piece of toast to bring up to her.

Once he got to her room, he knocked softly a few times. When he didn't hear any movement, he whispered as he reached for the handle of the door, "Y/n, its Cedric. I'm coming in, okay?"

He slowly opened the door and peeked his head through, looking around to see if there was any sign of Y/n. Her bed was messy, but empty. Cedric grew a little confused at the unusual situation, but he made sure to keep himself calm. Still being unstable from the second Triwizard task where he had to save her, he grew worried.

Wondering where his girlfriend could be, Cedric crosses his fingers in hopes everything is okay and he will see her in their first class together.

Cedric felt weird walking alone to class, usually Y/n and him would be walking hand in hand, talking to him about random things. They would talk about the next prank the Weasley twins were going to pull, or what their plans were for the upcoming summer.

When Cedric sat down to another empty seat that is supposed to be occupied by Y/n, he grew more worried. Usually if his girlfriend was sick or something she would tell him and not just disappear.

As the class went on, Cedric decided to look for Y/n again. He asked his professor if he could use the bathroom and once he was allowed, he walked out and started thinking of where she could be.

While walking through the halls, he comes across one of Y/n's friends, Angelina. "Hey, have you seen Y/n anywhere?" Cedric tried asking calmly, but Angelina could tell he was a little nervous.

"Yeah, we were walking down to breakfast together but we got stopped by Professor Mcgonagall. She asked Y/n to come with her to her office, so I'm assuming she is still in there." Angelina responded, flashing a smile in hopes to calm her best friend's boyfriend down.

Angelina thought it was so cute how the boy her best friend always wanted so bad was worried about her. Angelina knew always knew they wanted each other, so she tried helping Y/n out and told her to make a move, but stubborn Y/n didn't want to and was scared that he didn't care about her as much as she cared about him. But obviously that was wrong.

Cedric nods and walks with a little speed to Professor Mcgonagall's office. Before arriving at the door to the office, he notices a girl walk out of the office with her hand to her face. Cedric recognized it as his girlfriend and her face was red, she walk walking slow, and she looked deep in thought.

As soon as Cedric identifies the girl, he jogs over to her and calls her name. She doesn't answer until he catches up to her and puts a hand to her back. He notices her eyes have no light in them, no look of happiness on her face. "Y/n, love, whats wrong?" Cedric says as he wraps his arms around the girl.

She looks up at him, her eyes red from crying and her eyebrows slightly furrowed. She takes the hand off her mouth and sinks into her boyfriend, tears start flowing out of her again.

"My dad," Y/n starts, hugging Cedric back. She could barely get the words out of her mouth. Her head felt fuzzy, her body, numb. "he died."

Cedric's heart dropped, a dark sorrow formed in his body. "Y/n," He didn't know what to say. "I'm so sorry." He tightened his grip on the grieving girl. "Lets go to your dorm okay?" Y/n nodded.

As they made their way up to Y/n's room, Cedric never let go of his girl. He tried thinking of ways he would be able to comfort her, he just couldn't find good words to comfort her.

Y/n sat on her bed as Cedric closed the door. Once he turned around, he saw Y/n looking at the floor, staring into space. His heart ached even more at the sight, the love of his life going through something he couldn't imagine.

He walked over to her and sat next to her so he was facing her. Cedric gently cupped the side of Y/n's cheek so she would look at him. Her head turned, but her eyes delayed in moving. Once she was looking at him, Cedric asked, "What do you need me to do?"

"I don't know." The girl responds, truly not knowing what she wants. Cedric uncupped her cheek and grabbed both of Y/n's hands. Y/n turned her body to face Cedric, she sat criss-cross.

"Do you want to cuddle?" He asks, hoping to lighten the mood a little. The girls eyes shot up to his and she huffs a little laugh, she nods. Cedric moved to the top of Y/n's bed and had his arms open for Y/n to craw into.

Y/n craws up to her boyfriend and places her head and hand on his chest. Cedric starts rubbing her back in hopes to distract Y/n from whatever she was thinking of. He hears a sigh and feels her relax into him.

"I'm sorry for not going to breakfast." Y/n says quietly.

"Please don't be. When you didn't show up I assumed you were sick so I went up here to your room but you weren't here. So then I thought you went to our first class, but when you weren't there I knew something was wrong." Cedric explained.

"Sounds like you went through a lot just to find me." Y/n joked.

"I'd go through anything to find you." Cedric responded seriously. Hearing this, Y/n looked up at her boyfriend with a gleam in her eyes.

"Really?" She said smiling.

"Really." He said. Y/n leaned and connected lips with the love of her life. They kissed softly and passionately, which Y/n needed.

"Wait aren't you supposed to be in class?" Y/n said slightly moving away from the kiss.

"You're more important." Cedric said, which made Y/n smile and made her kiss him again. "I love you so much Y/n." He mumbled against her lips.

Cedric felt her smile as she responded, "I love you so much Cedric."

Over the course of months, Cedric would comfort Y/n whenever she was feeling sad or zoning out. He would take her on dates and hold her hand whenever she wasn't smiling.

Y/n's best friend, Angelina, made sure to tell her about how worried Cedric was about her when he couldn't find her. Angelina also made sure to tell Y/n how much she loved the pair together and how she hopes to find a man who loves her as much as the pair loves each other.

Decided to go Kalmia instead of Kiyuu for this one!!! I actually made the lines before I had finished drawing Kalmia’s ref, so this is what motivated me to finish it LOLLL

Fun fact!! The prefect is one of the main people Kalmia acts more confident with. She tells more of what she really feels towards the Prefect and doesn’t care as much about being a person the Prefect can love (because she’s planning on replacing their role anyway and doesn’t want any extremely complicated feelings when that happens).

ok I usually have problems with trying to find jobs (I'm unemployed by default because I'm disabled but sometimes u just need to make some money yk) cus i get scared applying for things i havent done before thinking like what if i suck what if etc etc

and i just realized that Eiden having a million random jobs has GENUINELY made me less worried about applying to things ive never done before
