I feel very sad for Jimin fans who spend so much time worrying about how other people are going to perceive Jimin if he doesn't chart well or get sale numbers that compare or whatever. I'm sympathetic, as I definitely twinge when I am reminded of that possibility, I always want him to do well, and I'll never forget his live after getting #1 on the Hot 100. But honestly, at this point, after Face, Jimin has proven and solidified himself as a forever artist for me. He could be the least popular artist in the world with only me buying and streaming his songs (so even then he'll claim Jimerica lol) and I wouldn't care as long as he's putting out the music that resonates with him, because from what I've seen that's going to translate into music I love and enjoy listening to every day and not get tired of yet.

I understand the competitive spirit, and that desire for high numbers is the reason he's done as well as he has, I don't want to discount efforts people have made to make it happen, but when it gets in the way of the main purpose, enjoying Jimin's music and art, I think it stops being worth it, at least to the extent it can get to.

I just hope that anyone who is stressing about what Jimin's antis are doing or saying please remember, if he does poorly they'll say he's a flop and continue to say things they've always said about him and you'll still get to listen to his music and he'll keep making music. If he does well, they'll say it's fraud and payola and bots are playing his music and you'll still get to listen to his music and he'll keep making music. Nobody is going to stop hating, and Jimin isn't going to stop making music. So, lets all just try to enjoy the moment a little bit more.

All that said, I'm so excited, the concepts, the pictures, the songs, hopefully some dancing. We're about to be so well fed!

The craziest thing that happened after I became a pjm is having a greater appreciation for the US lol. Before my opinion of them was neither good nor bad but after seeing us spotify numbers, I have become a fan of them 😅

And as someone from India, I started getting even more fed up with my country though that's not something that started with Jimin. I know many people from my country will come after me with pitchforks and since it's your blog I don't want you to get into trouble so i won't go into detail about why his numbers don't even surprise me. They already always tell me to leave the country if I say something on twitter and then start abusing me if I say that I'm trying. How contrary! Sorry I lack patriotism and I'm not into cults whether it's bhakts or armys. Anyway Jimin at least I'm streaming for you 😭

The reason why jimin barely charts in India is because armies that side are tkkers you don't have to say it I will.

America is Jimerica. His stability and longevity in the charts is unbelievable. I am surprised everyday when I see Like crazy re chatting or moving up in the charts and the recent Deezer record is just... like I knew he was known and you know... the most famous member in the US but to that extent is just... US jimin stans don't play they mean business.

Is there a definite answer to the Spotify v Apple v Amazon? Because I switched from Amazon to Spotify before... do I need to switch back? (I'm in #Jimerica, btw.)

As for where to purchase the album...Walmart, Target, Amazon?

Advice for Jimericans-

Since you are in Jimerica, I'd suggest that you keep a spotify premium account forever. No matter how bad the sound quality is, you should keep contributing to premium Spotify streams in US.

For apple and amazon and yt music, i think there is 1 month free trial available, so you can subscribe to those before 28th of this month. If you are low on money, you can simply unsubscribe before 28th July.

But I'd suggest to keep at least Amazon premium for a long time, because we are low over there and we need premium streams.

As for buying albums i think you can buy 4 of each version from different sources- weverse US shop, B&N, target, walmart. There are sooo many sources in US to buy with zero shipping too.
