So. Like my family has this tradition that for big events we go to this one restaurant,

They’ve NEVER let us down.

But. Today.

For some reason today specifically. Idk if it was a new chef or smth, but the stake was so. SO DONE.

we asked for medium rare. Like. Red, ya know.

1st oddity: it was done VERY quickly. Like “oh no did they even cook it?” Quickly.

2nd oddity: I. It wouldn’t cut.

3rd oddity: it was kinda… bbouncy?

..anyways yea they fucking MURDERED OUR STAKE. it was LEATHER. RUBBER EVEN. GRAY.

THE FUCKING CHEF CAME OUT AND APOLOGISED I KID YOU FUCKING NOT. WE GOT A CARD AND EVERYTHING.

(Yes it says “congratulations” it’s a birthday card.)

(We got icecream to but that’s less entertaining. It was like 60% whipped cream and honestly we love that for them.)
