" she mumbles, more to herself, her voice barely audible. and thank god yoonah was still in the middle of her little spiel about the girls in the cheering squad not being good enough for insoo. amid hyejin's confusion, the sudden appearance of the male almost causes a heart attack of sorts, but she finally gets what he meant by coming over. feeling yoonah stiffen instantaneously as insoo gets closer - but more toward her, knowing exactly the game he's playing and that he was teasing hyejin. " oh, heeeey buddy. " she plays it off, panicking - so she resorts to calling him by a friendly name. hyejin knew she would come to hear about it later on when it's just her and insoo left alone. but for now, she puts on the act of being chummy with him, even when her heart is going so many miles per second. " h-have a good run ! " calling out to him when he returns to the track. sighing as a form of longing, wanting to spend more time with him but knowing she'll be able to do so later.

her little daydream was cut short when yoonah's voice is heard, ' omg! he went here just to say hi.. i think i still have a chance, hyejin-ah!' and the volleyball player can only offer an awkward smile, clearing her throat, " let's go. you said we were going to get food and then head home. " taking one last look at her boyfriend, she also sends him a text while the pair made their way toward the cafeteria.

putting his phone away as he went to stetching with his friends, ready to take on the track. he couldn't help but just smile to himself. ' you really like this girl huh? ' his friend comes to ask, causing insoo to chuckle and push his friend over. ❛ shut up. ❜ he indeed was falling hard for hyejin, his heart beating in his chest; taking a seat on the ground as he feels his phone vibrate again, smile growing again as reading the messages from his girlfriend, lifting his head up as he starts to look around, sudden grin appearing as he spots hyejin sitting there.

finally getting up from the ground as he comes to do last of the stretches. jumping in place and then going on the track. ❛ catch me if you can. ❜ he says to his friend as he starts to jog at first then running, finally sprinting so he would get to his girlfriend faster or more like pass by but he wouldn't stop by to say hi. trying to go as fast as his feet would let him. finally passing by the bench where his girlfriend was sitting at but hits the break, turning around to walk over. ❛ wassup? ❜ he asks, trying to be as casual as he could, but gives a quick smile to hyejin, even moving behind the girls. ❛ oh, is that a water bottle? can i take one? ❜ he comes to reach between the girls, picking the bottle; thankfully one that wasn't opened but as he had leaned down, his hand had touched over hyejin's back, his upper half pressing up against her, doing it on purpose. while getting up he makes sure to rest a hand over hyejin's shoulder; who would come to question that? after all they had been knowing for a long time. ❛ okay girls, have fun! ❜ and there he goes, running off with the water bottle.

          Joey tried his hardest to close the door softly as he got back into the apartment. He had to close up the shop that night, which left him coming home considerably later than usual. On nights like these, he tried to at least not make a loud entrance, lest he wake Cass ( Kian, the night owl, was sure to be awake anyway ). 

          Even in darkness, the apartment was easy to navigate, and Joey quietly tiptoed his way to his room, making sure to look out for Bones or Bruce. However, his steps stopped short at the figure sleeping across the couch. 

          “Yuki?” 

          Under the moonlight filtering in, she was unmistakable. Asleep and peaceful, a sight Joey had never seen, and for once, it occurred to him that there were sides of Yuki he hadn’t gotten the chance to see yet. The joyful Yuki, the studious Yuki, the thinking Yuki--he was familiar with some of her quirks, some of the faces she made, some of things she said. Here, now, she looked closer to serene.

          With a new grin, Joey continued on to his room, coming back shortly with a mound of his blankets and pillows. She couldn’t sleep out here cold and alone, not like this. He began carefully putting the blankets on her, stopping at any shift, any breath from her. Once the pillow was comfortably under her head, he  brushed a bit of her hair from her forehead, his smile soft even though she couldn’t see it. 

          “Sleep well, Yuki.” 

          He definitely liked this side of her too.

I'm not sure exactly where you have trouble with, but I find talking in groups (or, channels) with only a few people is less intimidating. I know how discord groups can have a lot of people especially talking at once and it's overwhelming. I also agree with what anon said about waiting a day after joining! Good advice

YES i think i would do better with tiny groups instead of big servers! the problem is that i think those are a bit more difficult to find or get accepted by...... if that makes sense like they already have their own friend group? i think i do pretty, umm, okay at talking with people alone so i might try that a bit more before joining servers and trying that anon’s and chandy’s advice!

she was supposed to be asleep  --  but instead, she’d found herself seated just outside the living room while trying to eavesdrop listen intently to the conversation owen and claire were having.  their voices were SOFT and quiet, making it difficult to hear anything being said.  head is leaning against the wall while eyelids slowly become heavy.  she’s about to head back to bed when she hears her name  -- maisie --  she knows she heard it.  but just as quickly as she could hear, she once again could not.

now wide awake, maisie watches as a few more words are exchanged before claire says goodnight and heads back to her and owen’s bedroom.  the child contemplates following the redhead’s lead, but finds herself walking TOWARDS owen instead.  kind eyes are focused on him as her head cocks to the side SUBTLY, her own gentle voice entering the air a moment later.    ❝    i heard my name...    ❞    concern is etched in CHERUBIC features while she moves to sit next to him on the couch.

I am so sorry this took me forever to respond to, to put it simply,,,,I’m an idiot 

1) I love martial arts (I’d love to learn any kind, and had plans to take up Jiu Jitsu and Krav Maga before lockdown but currently only take Shotokan Karate, with a bit of mixed Karate at Uni)

2) I like the idea of frogs in theory but not in practice jfkdsjfds like I like frog ‘themed’ stuff but I don’t really like frogs irl

3) I passed my drivers test on first try and hypothetically am a good driver but my friend told me once that being a passenger whilst I drove made him ‘unafraid of death’ and multiple people have agreed with that, to the point where my cousin nearly threw up after being driven by me the other day and has refused to let me drive her anywhere so what is the truth clowns
