Fintan: likes all music and makes a point in staying up to date on new generas from around the world. Mostly because he finds it fascinating how the music reflects the state of society (in the creepiest stalker way possible)

Brant: all of the sappiest love songs before the fire, and songs specifically about apocalypse/angsty "let the world burn" music after. Style isn't as important to him as lyrics and vibe. If he hears one more love song he will explode (literally) in rage and break down crying, so he's super paticular about his playlists

Umber: emo music, not for the angst, but for the "darkness is better" aspect. She hates hearing music that contradicts with her worldview

okay so in honor of keeper characters Not listening to taylor swift here are the bands I think keeper characters would actually listen to because I'm so normal about this book series.
