Day 5. Dress

Once I drew Jane in gorgeous medieval rich yellow gown with armour pieces (and i used a lot of references as well). But there was photoshop error and i lost this masterpiece forever. RIP very beautiful picture 💔 Have this fast copy from my memory instead:)

✨ Commission Post Update: Now Featuring Desperation (and ~range~) ✨

I'm going to be so real with you right now - things are tight for me financially. I'm doing a self-funded PhD, working alongside it, I've run out of savings because I wasn't able to work for a year, rent has gone up, I don't get my next student loan for months, I won't get paid at all once term ends in May, and my car has decided it's time to pack it in.

I posted a commissions post a month ago but it was severely lacking in detail, so I've made a new one. This time I've decided to step outside of the Snapedom and add some more of my art to my commissions post, and approximate pricings, which I've cobbled together from other artists' posts I've found on tumblr. Here you'll find a collection of art I've done from various fandoms including HP, Netflix's Sandman, Terry Pratchett's Discworld, one from Numb3rs (I'll be impressed if anyone remembers that show), and Jane and the Dragon (I'll be even more impressed if anyone remembers that show). Some of these images can be found on my other tumblr, @thelightfantastik.

Happy to consider any pairing, any character(s), any themes, for any fandom, fic or OCs. Comfortable with various NSFW/kink/gore etc. I'm not very good at drawing animals, however. So send me a DM 🙌

More whimsical / stylised (In which I imitate other styles for the sake of learning/developing a style. Price entirely dependent on the nature of the request. Happy to give anything a shot if you have a Vision; price dependent on how long I think it'll take to do)

I need all JatD fans to know that the official continuation story, Dragon Blade, by author Martin Baynton will be disappearing come end of March 2025. So if you have not read it, do it now before it's gone! We should work together as a fandom to try and perverse what is still available! “Prince Aodran,” she greeted with a curtsey.  “Princess Lavinia,” he replied, face breaking into a handsome smile as he offered a bow in return. “A pleasure to see you again so soon.” Lavinia fought the urge to ask where he’d been for Jane’s trial, offering instead a polite smile. “And you.” 

A very Lavinia-centric chapter in my Dragonblade rewrite, in which she fights to restore Jane's apprenticeship - which means I've been thinking an awful lot about tween Lavinia and her curious-but-naive worldview lately. Please also enjoy some fanart.
