Introduction to the World of Jörubos: Part 3- Ludora
The Kingdom of Ludora
In the Southern deserts of the thundering Wilds lies the Dwarven Kingdom of Ludora; well known for their Blacksmiths and jewel crafting. The Kingdom lies in the middle of the blistering desert with little to no flora to be seen. To the west is the Forest of Wisp; a forest filled with steam from the many hot springs there with the exception of a few waterfalls and lakes. Further to the west is the furnacelands; only accessible during rainstorms where the rain and winds cool the boiling hot ground. To the south of the forest is a cove of small volcanic fields that lead into the Loafin sea. Further south of Ludora the desert grows colder and soon becomes a frozen desert.
The land's scorching ground and little flora make living there hard. Most fauna in the wild are as dangerous as you can get. Black Eagles soar the sky for any prey either it be dead or alive. Tuscan boar pillage any gardens that hold vegetation or march throughout the Forest of Wisp. Canyon hissers hide in caves, cracks and under rocks. Their poison so tart it will paralyze you until your heart stops moving. Suncrest antelope will often travel downward from Suncrest plateau during the winter time to escape the cold. To get around the desert; most dwarven rely on Stallions and Chamhals. The tiny snidgets fly around cacti plants and suckle on the nectar inside of them.
Worn by the royal family and its soldiers; the red and black colors of the Ludorian Coat of Arms watches over its people. The black eagle shows the courage and vigilance of the Dwarven Kingdom. The hammers in the shield tell anyone where the best blacksmiths come from.
Currently ruled by Mabir Everstone; a King who puts his people first before himself. With an iron fist and a kind heart. He strikes true in battle as he is one of the most powerful fire mages in the Eastern Kingdoms. He is known to call out leaders and rulers for being corrupt to their people. He has gained the respect of his soldiers through the ages as he helped fight off countless bandits and smugglers. With his dual axes he has been marked by the Ludorian Shaman as Mabir the vigilant.
Ludora's soldiers use the desert to their advantage. With the black and red war paint on their face they use caves and caverns to ambush the enemy. Bombs and explosive traps buried into the sand. Earth mages use the rock and sand to blind their enemies.
With the helm of the Black Eagle, shields of the sturdiest metal and weapons carved to the sharpest point they charge into battle with courage burning through their very hearts and strength of the mightiest bears.
The Dwarven religion revolves around Nior the shaper of the world. Like the making of a fine sword he carved every mountain and canyon and dug the deepest trenches. He rules the council of three with the other two being Akahla the God of wind and Mielle the God of the ocean. Some say he used the Black Eagle to see how his people fair.
The flora in Ludora is scarce. In the forest of wisp the trees that survive are the red ironwood trees and acacia's. The cacti in the desert hold water and are used for healing valves for burns. Partial oasis have palm trees for shade. One plant in the desert has claimed the lives of weary travelers; the blue leafed datura also known as the mind bender. This plant gives off a hypnotic scent that lures all that fall for its trap to the plant. Taking in the scent for too long puts the user to a deep sleep. Others who know of the plant have stayed away from it or if were desperate and needed hydration would cut the thick sweet smelling plant open and drink its water causing one to loose their minds and go insane.
The architecture of the Kingdom is unique. Built with steel, clay and stone; the Kingdom and its surrounding villages are very fortified. With trusty vhala dogs at their side they are one of the most secured Kingdom in Jörubos. Shaman tents are in every village with the painted mark of the God Mielle sewn on the sides. Many statues and carvings are located throughout the Kingdom of the God and past Kings. Each King wearing the mark of the animal the shamans marked them with.
The Hunters Guild in Ludora help stop smugglers near the borders of the Kingdoms. The help hunt any boars that terrorize villages and help catch deadly critters that could harm any civilians. They travel with travelers and miners keeping them protected from the wildlife and always keep water from the rivers to help anyone in need of water.

That‘s the last one!!!! Welcome to the third and final Kingdom of Jörubos!!!
I had so much fun getting to talk about this world and it makes me excited to release more of the world to you later.
What?! There’s more?! I hear you gasp in surprise.
Yes; though it will take me longer to get the rest out and this project was just the beginning.
What to expect throughout the year:
An introduction on the smaller villages and races in the world such as the Lupanis or the wickerman tribes.
An introduction to some of the characters in the book.
The full finished map of the world.
Some creatures that will show up in the world.
And so much more!
Until then my ask are open and I would love to ask any questions you have about the world and its races!! <3

Introduction to the World of Jörubos: Part 2- Juld’win
The Kingdom of Juld'win
Located in the Eastern Continent in the North Eastern parts of the Suncrest Plateau is the human Kingdom of Jul’dwin; best known for their architect and agriculture. The Kingdom lies at the edge of an emerald forest of beauty and mystery. Most of the Kingdom; however, is grasslands and open fields making it a thriving ecosystem for farmers.
The land is filled with a large variety of fauna. The most well known is the Prairie stallions who make their home near the middle of Suncrest Plateu. These stallions are the most common mounts in Jörubos. Other herbavorial creatures include the suncrested deer who's antlers are used to make bows and is one of the main food sources for the Kingdom, plateau bovine who are mostly kept as farm animals but some still roam wild, and the Juld'win rams whom are also mostly farm creatures used for milk and cheese. Many birds fly the skies stick in the trees; one of which being the rainbow pheasant whose feathers are used for nobility mask and jewelry. You must beware of the many dangerous creatures who call this land their home. The lands are homes to many packs of grassland dire wolves and territories of the great bears who roam in the forest.
Worn by the royal family and its soldiers; the red and gold and white colors of the Juld'win Coat of Arms has always welcomed its visitors. With the six armed leopis gripping the halberd with a mighty roar shows the bravery and strength of the human Kingdom. The crown it wears upon its head is made of floral design indicating the agricultural side of the human Kingdom.
Currently ruled by King Aldrich Adamson Beasley; who tends to his people and protects the weak and poor. He is a righchious King who has helped his fellow Kingdoms in a time of need for their people. He is also feared in battle. The man has been to many battles as the Kingdom of Juld'win was in a state of civil war between the Western Kingdom and the Eastern Nobility of Hollows Grove. As soon as he stepped on the battlefield; the war was as good as done. He is a master swordsman who can hold his own against a hundred soldiers. For he is also known as the Ursol of Juld'win.
Juld'win's soldiers fight as one on the battlefield. Taking after their king they fight with brutality and cunning skills. Traps and their ferocity are what these men are best known for.
Their archers wear the mask of hawks in battle indicating that they are the best of the best for no soldier leaves the training ground without mastering their work. Human mages are extremely rare; only able to learn light and dark magic. Light mages either become healers and join the churches or Paladins and they join the Sol Crusades.
The human religion revolves around the God Lighet; God of light, Agriculture and architecture. It is said that he built the Kingdom up from nothing but stone and his mind. He is believed to be the leader of twelve. Each one of his soldiers represents the spirit of mortals. Nemielle (Hope), Mathias (Fate), Laura (Justice), Pariah (Valor), Tyre (Willpower), Inigo (Courage) and etc. Some say he can take the form of a great Leopis to bolster the strength of his army and people tenfold.
The flora in Juld'win have always been a gem in the world of Jörubos. Many floral plants bloom year round. The spring holds the pink and white flowers that bloom near the town of Excalibrae. But like the town they hold a dark and deadly secret. Winter comes and blooms the sugar plum trees with bright violet flowers in the Emerald Groves. Winter also brings the frost lilies which bloom in the snowy terrain of Moonlit Peaks. Summer brings the orange and yellow daisies of Suncrest plateau which is a delicacy to many of its wildlife and is said to be used for healing ailments. Autumn brings the oranges and browns to the trees and bushes of the Kingdom. Many fruits and vegetables are grown in the farmlands of the Kingdom and traded all over the world.
The architecture of the Kingdom is incredible. All made of stone and marble which protects the people who reside inside. The Kingdom has three walls. The first being the farmlands where the poor and farm workers live and make their profit. Fresh rivers flow through with enough river-stone salmon to feed to their families. The second wall is the trade district. All merchants from all over the world enjoy coming here. Full of festivities and culture it is enjoyed by all who walk through its gates. The final wall is the nobility and castle workers and soldiers homes. The castle lies in the middle of it all making it the biggest Kingdom in all of Jörubos.
Finally its hunters guild. Like all the others it comprises of the best hunters in all of Juld'win. With the civil war going on; they have become a safe haven for those who wanted to escape the fighting. They expanded their guild to become a village; welcoming those who seek sanctuary with the Chantry of Lighet as it's center. Priest, nuns and healers from the villages burned by the war help heal the broken bodies and spirits of the refugees.
--------------
The human Kingdom is revealed!!!
I had to take a lot of inspirations for this so it didn’t seem too....real? I guess you could call it. Lighet and his soldiers were heavily inspired by blizzard’s archangel designs. In the future I will probably do something revolving stained glass designs for each of the religions.
The mask design was inspired by: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.deviantart.com%2Fwindfalcon%2Fart%2FGold-Spiralwings-Leather-Mask-715428404&psig=AOvVaw0fQx6J9-Q4Jz3pokKKMOoV&ust=1590357695955000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CA0QjhxqFwoTCKCtt9-iy-kCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD
And omg I am terrible at clothing designs. Good lord was the King’s wardrobe a mess. I literally cropped half of it because it was just awful.
Tomorrow I will reveal the last Kingdom!
Stay tuned

Introduction to the World of Jörubos: Part 1- Silaas
The Kingdom of Silaas In the Western continent of Jörubos just across the Loafin Sea is the Elven Kingdom of Silaas; known for their magic, healing abilities and knowledge. Deep lush forest cover most of the continent, to the eastern side of the land is covered in ice and vast mountain ranges.
The lush ecosystem is filled with many different fauna. The most well know is the Oaco; an elk like creature with its two pronged antlers curved towards their enemies. The next is the the Grove boars; one of the main delicacies of the elven people. The great Dire Wolves are mostly kept as hunting pets, but when in the wild they are savage predators; most cannot take a pack on alone. Silaasian Clydstangs are favored by locals who live in the mountains; they are very good climbers and their heavy fur coats keep them warm in the tundra-like winters. Laeolian Hawk scavenges the ground from the sky. Even the feared venomous vine serpents.
Worn by the royal family and their many soldiers; the blue, green and gold colors of the Silaasian Coat of Arms is always a sight to see. With the green and gold serpents intertwining the Caduceus staff proudly showing the elves healing abilities. The gold floral branching off of the Kingdom's name embraced the forest surrounding the Kingdom. Bearing the peaceful Oaco stag for their wisdom and vast knowledge of magic.
Currently ruled by Queen Mélanie Nomielle Verieul; who is well known for her kind nature and caring personality. However; like the Oaco she will fight to protect her Kingdom. She has her personal guards who guard her chambers and castle. If by luck that you got passed them your luck would run out as her two dire wolves Sol and Mani will leave no traces of you behind.
The Silaasian soldiers fight as a pack of dire wolves. Their armor take the faces and fangs of the clever beast. Team work and trust in one another is key in battles. With their keen eyes; the archers of the elven Kingdom wear their green mail armor giving them the advantage of hiding in the trees. The lovely and tactical mages wear the skin and antlers of the Oaco who live in their forest. Lead by the leaders who are painted with the Kingdom's colors.
Blue for the groundsmen, Green for the archers and Gold for the mages. The marking they bared during battle is one of their Goddess Nezeu, who was said to have worn Oaco skin and antlers as part of her armor.
The elves religion revolve around the nature Gods who are lead by Nezeu; Goddess of Knowledge and Fate. Most saw the Goddess as an elven priest wearing her oaco skin and blessing her people. However; the small few who have escaped the claws of death and were in tune with the spirits have witnessed another form. The body of a ferrfox, the arms and talons of a dragon, the tail of a rainbow pheasant, the wooden mask of a mortal and the antlers of a suncrest deer. All with the same description of red threads clinging on to her. Some believe this is her true form.
The other Gods include Fel'Hazuul the death God, Namael the Goddess of the hunt, Lae the sun hunter and Nol the moon huntress and many many others. The flora in the forest range from the grand oak trees to the smallest white daisies. Near the ocean coast to the west of the kingdom is the grand palm trees which bear the Ochoco fruit. There are many berry bushes in the lush forest. One in particular is very deadly and is used in many poisons; the silver bristle. In the icy tundras grows the silver leaf grass. Favored by the herbavors as it is one of the only plants able to survive in the cold environment. The architecture of the Kingdom is what one could describe as being attuned to nature. The houses are built in the giant oak trees. They would pick from the oldest and dying trees and carved out their homes from the inside out. Nobles would even add clay and stone into the homes for more sturdier walls and floors. Merchants and farmers would build heir shops and houses only on the ground level and raise it only a floor. The main castle town however is built out of stone and wood. This is where most of the castle servants and guards live.
Like all the Kingdoms there is a headquarters for the most respected guild to ever be formed. The Hunter’s Guild is just that. The best hunter’s in each Kingdom gather and join this guild to make a name for themselves. The elven branch of this guild helps keep the citizens fed and disciplines poachers and over hunters. They help keep the balance of nature while doing jobs that the citizens need. However; with the fall of its last leader, a dark presence has planted itself at the very top.
Lastly; like many stories and fairy tales; there is always a hidden gem in Kingdoms. Aelmead and Wintryle; home of the Rynül. “What are the Rynül,” you ask? Well that is a post for another day.
