Nico felt embarrassed as well as sad, as that Lachlan guy really did remind him of Shane. He waled away from Louis and the girls and went and sat on a park bench.

IZZY- “What is up with him? He is weird.”

SARAH- “Yeah, who is Shane and why did he call Lachlan that?”

LOUIS- :You two are so self-absorbed, you have no idea what Nico has been through. He knows no one here and he has been thrown into a world he has no clue how to navigate. He has no friends here, and he has lost someone very dear to him. So just back off.”

SARAH- “But who is Shane?”

LOUIS- “Dad told us, Sarah, you don’t remember or you weren’t listening. Shane was his boyfriend that was killed in the car accident.”

IZZY- “Oh dear....”

AVA- It’s who is Izzy, and here she is now...remember Matais?”

SARAH- “Our gay uncle...”

AVA- “Sarah, what did I tell you about that...anyway, Isabella is he and Victor’s daughter., everyone calls her Izzy.”

IZZY- “I would prefer Bella, but apparently there was a Bella Goth in our family ages ago that was one really bad ass witch...so my dad’s preferred Izzy.”

NICO- “Witch? For real?”

SARAH- “For real...our Great Grandfather was a witch. Cruz Boedell. He was gay too”

NICO- “Cruz? That’s my middle name.”

AVA- “Yes, I named you after my grandfather Cruz, who happened to be a witch.”

IZZY- Can Sarah and I go look at dresses, we have already heard all these stories...”

AVA- Sure girls. go ahead, I will catch up in a few.”

NICO- “Witches, really?  Am I still dreaming?”

AVA- “No, it’s all true.  We can discuss it later tonight, but right now we need to get shopping!!  How about you and Louis go and check out what you like, the girls are of course going dress shopping, and Griffin and I will meet you all back here in an hour.”
