I recently got sucked back into the haikyuu rabbit hole, and I've been reading quite a few of your matchup series. They're so well written and thoughtful! If it's possible, I'd like to have one long romantic matchup too (and a short platonic one as well, but if it's too much, then just a couple one would be amazing!!)

1. no special preferences, I like surprises

2. female, any pronouns, would like to be matched with guys please

3. Ideal partner: caring and observant, comfortable to be around. Would tell you if you're making a not so ideal decision. Would sometimes partake in stupid ideas. Gap moe 🤭. A bit possessive. Intelligence is hot.

4. Personality traits: quite clumsy, quite forgetful. Shy and quiet around strangers, talkative and clingy around the (few) people I'm comfortable with. Very easy to make me admire someone. Absolutel useless in social settings. Somehow does well in school despite basically being an idiot. I've also been told I'm silly so that's that. I would try my best for other people. My internal energy depletes real quick and I get tired easily.

🥛 i feel like while tsukishima can be satirical and sometimes rude, he's not overly intense (in fact he's almost too passive sometimes) and thus wouldn't be nerve-inducing to be around

🥛 especially if you're already friends or partners, moments with tsukishima will just be spent often in comfortable silence

🥛 but he'd definitely tell you if you were making a stupid decision lol

🥛 and ig what really made me lock in tsukishima for you was that "a bit possessive. intelligence is hot" statement

Tooru's body is littered with different flowers. Hajime's is, too. Not as many as Tooru has, but enough for Tooru to rest assured that Hajime will never realize that the cluster of red and yellow camellias above his heart are from Tooru.

Yahaba rolled his eyes, reaching up to peel Tooru’s hand away from his face. “He’s not going to magically appear just because I said something nice about him. Iwaizumi-senpai isn’t actually a demon, y’know.”

“Wouldn’t be surprised if he were,” Tooru muttered mutinously as they resumed walking. “There isn’t anything off with my costume, right?”

“You’ve already asked me this nine times this morning, senpai. It looks good, no, I don’t see anything out of place, people are going to eat it up and take a billion photos with you and seriously, why do you care so much about what Iwaizumi-senpai is going to-”

“I do not fucking care,” Tooru hissed through a gritted smile as he waved to a couple of familiar faces rushing past, “about what that pedant says about my cosplays. I do not.”

In which Oikawa is a fairly well-known cosplayer, Iwaizumi is the irritatingly talented doujinka who regularly spots errors in his costumes, and their booths keep ending up located beside one another at conventions, much to Oikawa's dismay.

Volleyball players are known for a lot of things.

Intense plays, long rallies, arm-breaking serves—those are to name a few. But in Japan, the volleyball players (high school, college, and professionals alike) are infamous for something that no one really expected: their betting pool.

Kohatsu Allen who played the role of Ryoh visited our country once to attend one of the biggest anime event here called Cosplay Mania. He also portrayed the role of Iwaizumi Hajime in Haikyuu!! 2.5D. He was one of the main guests together with Asuma Kousuke who portrayed the role of Oikawa Tooru back in 2019. I'm not even a fan of 2.5D but I enjoyed seeing them on stage. Allen is good in English that he almost didn't need a translator. He would also help Asuma with the language barrier. He also sang the entire song Sparkle. Yes, that original lengthy version of Kimi no Na Wa soundtrack. And he totally slayed! My sister got so lucky with the fan meetup that she was selected both for the handshake event with Asuma and photo event with Allen.

Anyways, my sister also plans to purchase photo book of Mashle stage play (mainly because Allen is there oof). When that time comes, I will try to share some scanned photos here in Tumblr. She mostly collects for Haikyuu!! 2.5D but since Allen is already part of the Mashle stage play cast, she's willing to buy for a different series this time. 😌😌🤭🤭

JUST ORDERED IWAOI JERSEYS AS MATCHING HALLOWEEN COSTUMES WITH A FRIEND

Alright guys, story time: A week ago me and my best friend transformed into our male anime versions (in other words put our iwaoi cosplay on) and went to AnimagiC were we would attend a panel with Mitsunaka Susumu and Okamura Wakana, the director and producer of Haikyuu. Following her idea I spent a whole lot of time making these Oikawa flyers which I threw at basically every hq cosplayer I found and planned to gift to as well. Anyways, we went to the panel and this happened: 1. A girl behind us wanted to ask about Kagehina the question the whole audience usually gets embaressed about as our host put it. Producer Okamura tried to avoid the question by talking about how it's a sports anime not yaoi etc... Mitsunaka-san though gave this answer: "Hinata can only be good and inspired by Kageyama and Kageyama is only fired up because he has Hinata. The two only work as a pair and if people want to play matchmaker? Why the hell not? I like it. (Needless to say that the whole room exploded.) 2. Eventually we went up to get our autographs from them as well as Hinata's German voice actor. I was first, my flyers ready, my best friend and the rest of our group right behind me. First was Christian the va. I gave him the flyer to sign and the one for the gift. He had previously stated that he'd only watched the first 13 episodes so I told him that he probably wouldn't get most of it but that I wanted to give it to him anyways. Just as I was saying this my best friend said to him in the most snappy, arrogant (Oikawa-like) voice ever: "Yeah, they don't appear in the first 13 episodes." (She felt so bad it was amazing or as she put it: "I saw him as Hinata and since I'm basically Oikawa I just had to roast him! It was my natural instinct.) 3. While we were waiting in line my friend noticed that the two of us were still wearing the buttons we had won prior that day: mine was red and read seme, hers yellow and read uke, both in romanji as well as kanji. She began to panick, ranting about how embarassing this was and that we would have to hide them since we couldn't get them off. I tried to calm her down saying they wouldn't notice and that it would be fine...it was...at first. I went to Mitsunaka-san gave him the flyer, he was really happy and he asked if I made them myself, praising me, then he looked up and saw my button. He just whispered seme and chuckled. I ignored it, just smiled, thanked him and went to Okamura-san, she was equally impressed with the flyer looked at my Iwaizumi cosplay and asked if I loved Oikawa that much, I looked at my best friend who was currently with Mitsunaka and nodded. He had noticed me looking at her, caught side of her button looked at mine again and began to shake Okamura, suddenly really excited, gesturing between the two of us and saying something from which I only understood the words uke, seme, amazing and I love it, but we got the message. After that we thanked them, the host took a picture of us saying that we were the cutest iwaoi ever. (He got a flyer as well.) Let's just say it was the best day ever and we won every discussion about whether its iwaoi or oiiwa that day.

Today we went to the Russell Stovers store and got some candy and ice cream. We also went to 2nd and Charles and I got roughly between 20 and 30 books for $21!! All but one of them were Star Trek books. Star Trek has some of the best memories for me.

At Russell Stovers I got my grandmother's birthday gift as well as chocolate for me and Jay to share.

Now he is taking a nap and I am attempting to play some World of Warcraft. It is weird starting over from scratch.
