Excerpt from untitled other vampire story:
Anthony: She held out the child, who was strangely calm and alert, like a sack of potatoes to Father Micheal. “I. Baptized him.” Father Micheal stood halfway up from the table bench and looked the kid over. “The—wait, you baptized his child?” “No,” she said without changing her tone, “Your. Uncle Sal. Yes the baby.” This kid’s forehead crusted with what looked like blood in a shape that could, in fact, generously be called a cross. And then I blinked. The dirty kid was staring right at me with bright, red, eyes. Oh crud. … So lugging a fat vampiric baby into a priest’s house was not Cassie’s finest move. And apparently she'd fed it her blood to keep it quiet. Father Micheal and her got into a bit of a spirited discussion over whether or not her little voodoo baptism was valid. She also pried open the kid’s mouth at some point to show he didn’t have any newborn fangs poking through yet. Not my circus, not my very insane papist monkeys. I guess they settled it though, because he finally let Mrs. Ivkin clean the blood-drunk kid in the kitchen sink, with Cassie keeping a close watch, like she didn’t trust anyone else alone with him. She also might have just been watching Mrs. Ivkin with the soap and sponge. Cassie was filthy and much like a cat was wary around cleaning supplies. The baby fell into a deep sleep as the sun rose higher, and was placed in a cradle that Father Micheal had brought in from the garage. Cassie tugged it beside her stool at the kitchen table, after Mrs. Ivkin made her at least scrub off her hands and face and a gave her a change of a shirt (A faded yellow with a certain lasagna-loving cat curled on it—kinda perfect for her really). She started chugging down a glass of water, slammed it down, refilled it with with the pitcher Mrs. Ivkin had set beside her, and brought it back to her lips. “You really should be taking small sips,” I said, “and maybe eat some saltines or something…” I trailed off because her neck had cranked to my direction and the line between her eyes deepened. In fact, the color of her eyes seemed to deepen too. “My body. Is not. Like yours.” She made a motion all around, to everyone in the kitchen. And started chugging again. I shook my head. “You might as well just drink from the pitcher then, save some steps.” The regret of that statement was immediate because Cassie perked up as if suddenly I wasn’t as stupid as she thought and lunged for the pitcher. “Cassie dear, no, not in my kitchen.” Mrs. Ivkin swept over and placed piles of food in front of her and discretely moved the pitcher out of reach.

Evergreen
Upon this tree, evergreen, Will be a sign for thee: That God was Man made And upon a tree of wooden beam He has death defeated
At cradle and cross Our Doom is lost Christ shall our ransom be
The gates of hell are shattered In hand Christ’s priestly rod Shines bright Thus upon the devil’s neck he trod
Spake he: I Am Become My Own Creation Flesh that was rot shall now Holy be Shrink then My children from fair devilry I Am The Son of Man I Am The Son of God
Upon that mercy seat He is crowned No sin shall have sting In heaven or on earth At death’s defeat then do we sing!
So this tree points strong Tall to heaven’s gate Evergreen through winter’s night Till sun and star then are no more And Christ is our eternal light

New to this blog?
Greetings and welcome!
I am a young writer and I go by the pen name Ivor Jerome. This is a blog dedicated to my current works-in-progress and any updates I may have about them. I’ll be showing off cover art, book blurbs, special teasers, and anything else that springs to mind.
Please enjoy this writing journey with me. I love seeing other people’s work too!
At the moment, I am performing major edits on my first real novel: They Are But a Breath. Set in a mythical desert land called Siddam, it tells the story of three brothers, the first a solider, the second a prophet, and the third only a child, dealing with the abuses of their father while also experiencing the strange call of a nearly forgotten deity. As their lives crash back into each other after years of separation, they each are given choices that will not only affect their lives, but perhaps their very souls as well.
Current cover design:

Other WIP:
The Mythic Trilogy:
Mythic, Cataclysmica, and Deify are what I call a “Small Fantasy.” It is a world based on the intersection between Germanic and Greco-Roman Folklore, but although the setting is large and rich, the story will be small (I was never interested in large wars or political intrigue). It features a young woman named Ganymede (yes, I know that is originally a boy’s name) who is in possession of a book of fairy tales so old and tattered that its cover is missing---but worse of all, so is the ending. She sets out on a quest with her little donkey to find out the ending to the story. Along the way she meets Uthor, the youngest son of the King, who agrees to help her find the missing pages if she will use her knowledge of history and mythology to solve the mystery of a string of temple and museum robberies. But, of course, things are always more than what they seem...
Romance the Undead
A series of Pacific NW Paranormal mystery/romances. Think “mid-90's grunge pacific northwest twin-peaks" vibe.

Manuscript Search Tag
Thanks for tagging me, @akindofmagictoo! :D
Words: distant, dare, drain and dead. These are from The Power and the Glory:
Distant (appears twice close together):
Luckily the window was easier to open than the door. She pulled back the latch and shoved it open. Then she climbed out onto the outside windowsill. She couldn’t avoid seeing how far it was to the ground. For a minute she felt too queasy to move. The windowsill was so very narrow and the ground was so very distant. If she fell would she survive?
A snarl behind her snapped her out of her alarm. Abi jumped. Distantly she felt an ache in her leg as she left the windowsill. She grabbed hold of the rails around the staircase. The abrupt halt to her fall almost wrenched her arms out of their sockets. For a minute all she could do was cling to the rails for grim life and wait for the pain to go down from “agonising” to “bearable”. As soon as she could move she hauled herself up and over the rails onto the top stair.
Dare (warning for references to rape):
Boiling rage filled Haliran’s chest. How dare Siarvin cast her aside like that? How could he be so disloyal after everything she’d done for him? She’d given him a house, food, clothes, and asked so little in return! In her haste to make herself the victim she conveniently overlooked the little fact she had raped him, forced him into marriage, and kept him prisoner for centuries.
Drain:
Lian got up. He stumbled as he stepped away from the bed. All of the colour had drained from his face.
Dead (appears three times close together):
It had been millennia since he last used Ilaran’s kelros-name. In fact it had probably been millennia since anyone had used it. The only people who had that right were Ilaran’s parents, both long dead, and older relatives who were either dead or barely aware of his existence. Ilaran started at the use of that name. Then, very slowly, he crawled out of his hiding place.
He looked awful. There were bruises all over his face, his hands were bleeding, and there was dried blood all around his mouth. A small part of Siarvin’s mind had a panic attack over whose blood that might be and what it meant. He firmly ignored that part. Now was not the time. Not when Ilaran looked even worse than he had when he was literally dead.
Tagging @eloisetriestowrite, @freyawinther, @nowherewrites, @physicsgoblin, @ellierenae, @weaver-of-fantasies-and-fables, and anyone else who wants to do this! :D New words: light, loose, lurch and link.

Last Line Tag
Okay, so I just got tagged by @ghostpicnic-writes to take part in the last line tag. Thanks, this is the first time I have played a Tag game on this blog! :)
Last lines I wrote:
"None of them questioned the scream or rose to comfort its owner. No, they all went back to sleep. It seemed unfair, but Ivor remembered that Jerome had been put in the corner bunk for a reason: his frequent nightmares annoyed the rest of them.
So Ivor lay back down as well, determinedly trying to ignore Jerome's quiet sobs below."
My poor boy Jerome, I want to protect him! (For reference, Ivor does help him with his nightmares in the future. Right now they don't really know each other and Ivor is trying not to draw attention to himself.)
Alright, so I'm not sure how many people I'm meant to tag but I'll just go for it I guess? I tag: @coffehousecreations @cookiecuttercritter @maidollyganger

Grey Cup Championship
The most surprising jump comes from the BC Lions, who vaulted Edmonton in odds to both appear in and win the 107th Grey Cup game. However, the Esks could put that dream to bed in Week 17, as they’d clinch the crossover playoff position with a victory. That’s good news for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who won the West in 44 percent of sims and made it to the championship nearly half the time. They also feature in the most likely Grey Cup showdown for this week. Speaking of the Ticats, they remain in the drivers seat in the East. The victory over Winnipeg vaulted their chances to appear in the Grey Cup to 85 percent and their chances to win the whole thing up nearly 20 percent. Hamilton is also in the top three most likely matchups for the title. With the tight race atop the West Division continuing to amp up with every passing week, we got to see the weight that a win or a loss could have on the CFL Simulation. 107th Grey Cup 107th Grey Cup Festival 107th Grey Cup Championship Grey Cup Champions Grey Cup Championship Grey Cup Final Grey Cup Game CFL Grey Cup CFL Grey Cup Game Grey Cup Time Grey Cup Start Time Grey Cup TV Channel Grey Cup TV Coverage Grey Cup Halftime Show After being projected to be in the most likely Grey Cup matchup against Hamilton in the Week 16 edition of the sim, a loss to those very same Ticats severely hurt the Bombers’ this time around. Along with their drop to third place in the West standings, Winnipeg was also dealt huge blows to their odds to host a playoff game, win the division, and appear in the championship game. The model calculates each team’s probability of victory in each remaining game. It then simulates 10,000 replications of the remaining regularseason schedule and resulting playoff bracket including the possibility of a playoff crossover team.  For each replication, the model keeps track of a number of performance metrics for example, which teams earned home playoff games, which teams appeared in the Grey Cup, etc.. TigerCat fans everywhere, and the TigerCat organization, have worked hard to convey our enthusiasm for bringing the Grey Cup to Hamilton again, Ticats owner Bob Young said in a statement. We are thrilled to be in consideration by the Canadian Football League to host the upcoming 2020 Grey Cup game and festival, and we look forward with excitement and anticipation to the league’s announcement on February 21. We want to thank the CFL and the Grey Cup committee for their diligence throughout the bid process, he said in a statement. We feel like we put forth a strong and compelling bid to host the 2020 Grey Cup in our 110th anniversary year where we will be able to showcase Mosaic Stadium and Saskatchewan's incredible hospitality. We encourage our fans to come together on February 21st as we anxiously await the announcement. Hamilton last hosted a Grey Cup the infamous Snow Bowl game at Ivor Wynne Stadium in 1996, while Regina's Taylor Field was the site of the 101st Grey Cup that the hometown Riders won in 2013. Olympic Stadium last played host to the Grey Cup in 2008.This fall's Grey Cup, the 107th, is set to be hosted by the defending champion Calgary Stampeders on November 24 at McMahon Stadium. The CFL Simulator returned ahead of Week 13 and made Riderville very happy when it projected Saskatchewan as an early favourite to win the 107th Grey Cup. But following a lopsided loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on the road, the green and white dropped out of the top spot in all the categories they led in the first simulation. The biggest hit they took was to their Grey Cup odds. After being at nearly 50 percent a week ago, they sit at just 6 percent now and won the championship just three percent of the time. They’ve also had their odds to win the West dropped from 49 to 6 percent. The Bombers have jumped into the driver’s seat ahead of Week 14 action, and the Calgary Stampeders have now jumped into the conversation as a championship favourite again after winning both halves of their homeandhome series against Edmonton.Calgary has also received another spot in the top five Grey Cup matchups with their performance. In the East, Montreal made a jump up after winning their third straight game in Week 13 and they now feature in two of the five most likely championship game matchups. Their percentage to capture the championship went down because of Calgary’s surge, but their odds of hosting a playoff game went up. After beating Ottawa in their headtohead matchup in Week 13, the Toronto Argonauts improved their odds in nearly every category. On the other side, the REDBLACKS are now projected to finish with the worst record in the league at 414. While there's no love lost between the Montreal Alouettes and Calgary Stampeders, neither team is looking for a repeat of last game's fireworks.A heated contest between Montreal and Calgary in midAugust started with a pregame brawl and ended in a comefrombehind, overtime victory by the Alouettes. That wild finish — and the bad blood between both teams — is still fresh on everyone's minds as the Als 76 prepare to host the Stamps 94 on Saturday. That's not what we're about. That's not what they're about. There's always going to be a little talking back and forth, but we're going to make sure that our guys aren't into anything extracurricular. We'll let our play speak for itself. Before that Aug. 17 encounter even started, the pregame warmup turned into a full skirmish when Montreal cornerback Tommie Campbell traded punches with former Stampeder teammate Wynton McManis. Players from both teams converged on midfield and more punches were thrown. There were no suspensions following the fight, but three players were fined. We want to play with poise and we want to make sure not to get in altercations especially before a game, or during a game, Stamps coach Dave Dickenson told the team's website this week. That's not football to me. I don't think I really need to address a lot of it. Down 11 points with 45 seconds to play, the Alouettes scored a touchdown and twopoint conversion, then recovered the onside kick and booted a lastsecond field goal.It was Montreal's first win at McMahon Stadium since 2009. I'm sure they're watching the film to know what happened and the mistakes they feel they made, and what plays we made, said Jones of Saturday's opposition. Our guys have the knowledge that we can beat this team and we have to play really good football to do it. Since that loss, the defending Grey Cup champions have won four straight games and clinched a postseason berth. Calgary sits atop the West Division, tied with the Saskatchewan Roughriders 94 and a halfgame ahead of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 95.That fourgame win streak coincides with quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell's return from injury. Montreal is also getting its starting QB back this week. Vernon Adams Jr. returns after serving a onegame suspension for a dangerous and reckless act. The CFL suspended Adams for swinging a helmet at Winnipeg linebacker Adam Bighill on Sept. 21.The Alouettes quarterback was forced to watch from the sidelines as Montreal lost 2523 to the B.C. Lions last week after a fumbled thirdandshort late in the fourth quarter. But this week I'm back and I'm glad to be back. I'm just trying to help lead and do whatever I can to bring a win to the home crowd. Montreal would clinch its first playoff spot since 2014 with a win or tie against the Stampeders. A postseason berth and home playoff game is all but guaranteed for the Alouettes, who will likely finish second in the East Division behind the Hamilton TigerCats. This city is buying into it, said Adams, who is tied for second in the league with 15 passing TDs. They have nothing but good things to say after our games. Even when we lose in those tight ones, they're still saying how much better we look from previous years. It shows how much we want to win for this city and this organization. We didn't execute.Down six points midway through the fourth quarter, Ottawa's De'Andre Montgomery recovered Lorenzo Jerome's puntreturn fumble to give the Redblacks the ball on Calgary's 19yardline. Ward's 30yard field goal cut the deficit to three points down with just over five minutes to play.I do believe honestly we got outplayed and probably outcoached, Stampeders head coach Dave Dickenson said. Both Hamilton and Saskatchewan have yet to hold Grey Cups in their new facilities. The Ticats' Tim Hortons Field was opened in 2015, while Mosaic Stadium, the home of the Green Riders, opened in 2017.

Word Find Game
Tagged by the wonderful @hollowwrites, thanks!! Some fun words here!
Sunlight (Firetide Rising 3)
Kina landed feet-first in water. She spread herself out, slowing her descent, and opened her eyes.
Below her, the ocean opened into nothingness. Sunlight speared into the depths, fading slowly from blue to inky black. But the dark deep held no terrors for her. She had stared them down before. She had broken through them. Deep divers were used to never seeing the ocean floor until they got there.
Rain
“I’ve read than an elder dragon holds enough magic to grant someone a Boon,” said Tino, now rapping lightly on the lid of the chest. Magic crackled in his fingers as he did, but it seemed to bounce of the chest, like rain on a waterproofed sail. “They can only grant one, and it weakens them significantly for a time.”
Wind + Storm (Deathdancer)
For an instant, everything went still. Ailin’s breath hissed like wind in a sandstorm, her hand closing around the hilt, far too tight for anything that even resembled good technique.
I tag (no pressure!!): @winterandwords, @sleepysera, @akindofmagictoo, @thegreatobsesso, and open tag if anyone wants it!
Your words are: Star, Stagger, Soft, Shudder

Regis: kingly (French) Rex
Virgil: staff bearer (Latin)  The name of the greatest Roman poet and an early Irish saint who believed the earth was round, Virgil is rarely heard nowadays, but it retains a certain pleasantly fusty feel and likable southern twang.
Edith: prosperous in war (English) Among the oldest surviving Anglo-Saxon names. WIdely used in 19th century novels. Edith was a hugely popular name a hundred years ago that's being revived among stylish parents in Stockholm and London. It's currently beginning to gain traction in the US among those with a taste for old-fashioned names with a soft but strong image.

Random thing from a vague WIP about a private investigator who is not quite human and moves to a small town in the PNW. She's rescued a baby that has been bitten by a vampire. IDK I'm thinking about that medieval motif of the mother pelican pecking her body to feed her starving babies with her own blood:
The baby would not stop screaming. The gaping pinpricks from the vampire’s bite in his squishy little neck looked puffy and necrotic. “Please. Please. Stop crying.” Cassiel held the child close but he squirmed and began to root at her shoulder, reminding her of a pink piglet. “You are hungry,” said Cassiel, suddenly laying the baby down against her knees. With the child crying she could see into its mouth fairly easily. It was all pink and gummy. At least, so far. She risked swiping her pinkie finger across his gums, but felt no pointed fangs. Good. But the child’s skin was already taking on a pallor unnatural. He had already been without breastmilk for over a day and now, with that bastard’s bite— Cassiel’s jaw clenched with rage. If she ever saw Stephen’s face again she was going to rip every fang out of his gory maw before she tore off his head. Shuffling the baby to her left arm, she dug her knife out of her pocket, flicking open the blade with one hand. She brought the point of the blade to just above her left breast, hesitating, forcing her breathing to slow. The child would die if he had nothing to eat. And as far as Cassiel knew, there was nothing to be done about the transformation. Would it be more merciful to let him die? Would he ever grow up? Would he become some sort of perpetual imp always screaming and fussing for the blood of the living? She had nothing to offer except her blood, but what would her not-quite-humanity do to a vamperic child? Perhaps a small chance of something good. A bigger chance of something bad. The knife dug deep into her flesh, dragging a crimson line over her breast about two inches long. She brought the child to the wound and instantly the little mouth began to suckle, as if it was his own poor mother’s breast. The baby’s gums almost nibbled at Cassiel’s skin and she could feel the blood being sucked from her veins. The child rested a fat paw against her bare collarbone and its beady eyes squinted up at her, as if suspicious of this large stranger. His eyes glowed in the dim light, bright red. Blood dribbled down his chin and Cassiel wiped him clean as best she could with the corner of her button-down. “I did like this shirt,” she whispered, running a hand through the child’s frousy tuft of hair. The child began to fuss again as her wound began to heal, drying up the bloody milk. She pressed her knife along her flesh again, slicing it open afresh but before bringing the baby back up to it, a sudden thought took hold of her and she smeared her fingers in her blood. She rubbed it between her thumb and fore-finger. The sunrise was still far off, stars still speckled the crack of sky she could see from the back of the cave. Would the burning rays reach them here? What if Stephan found them and she had to carry the baby in the sunlight, would he survive? The baby continued to scream. “Here,” she said. With the child once more contented, she muttered a little prayer. Held her breath. Then she said softly: “I baptize you in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost,” and then swiftly painted a sloppy cross on the baby’s forehead. She froze, waiting for something to happen. Mostly something dreadful. Like the child to burst into flame and ashes or for lightning to strike her for baptizing a possible demon-baby. But nothing happened, except that the baby baby blinked at her with his red, red eyes, still suckling greedily. “I hope that stuck.”

Another Life
Another life is this: A come-away-with-me Somewhere warm and safe There are no more horrible cold and early mornings Long drives through lifeless concrete Grinding away in a box Dirty white and endless noise for nothing but sand
Packed in a single room Crammed and rotting No room to grow No space to welcome Everything’s stuffed in a box There’s no room
But this will be another life: Long fields of rose pink cosmos Periwinkle bachelor-buttons Sun kissed dandelions Bee covered clovers
Trees that beckon to wander and be lost Green and living gold, bleeding red Moss coated, toadstool blessed Fairy falls from mountain halls where pixies drink
And there is a house here too Big enough to grow Cottage-like and clean, wrap around porch Covered in white roses and vines Everything is clean But lived in, alive, cozy A welcome home
There is an attic room full of books Painted sunset-pink Hung with my favorite pictures Here is my sewing machine My clay, my beads, my weaving Everything in its place
The kitchen holds my favorite mugs From everywhere I have I have visited Teapots and mushroom jars Fresh cut flowers with homemade Hand-pies and stew
The greenhouse is set for tea and visiting Full of color, tomatoes and cucumbers for summer salad Blueberries and strawberries to eat with cream And the air is fresh and untouched A fire burns in a happy hearth
And then of course, in this other life, there is you You are strong and honorable You are funny and kind You are safe to me but dangerous to evil You let me love you with my heart open and bleeding
The walls are hung with Icons Crucifixes and candles Rosaries and Holy Rites Holy water and murmured prays Our home is a little church
This is another life I would like to live This is my escape This is almost a litany That maybe life can change

From my other blog :)
Tag: Word Find CCXCIV
I was tagged by @spacetimewraithwrites and given the words rain, cloud, sky, wind, and air. Thank you!
From Remnants:
RAIN + SKY + AIR
She couldn’t see anyone she recognized in the crowd facing away from her. Just as she was about to dive forward, the air around her took on a strange metallic taste and seemed to buzz with electricity.
Shit. Shit, shit, shit—
The ground three metres in front of her heaved, throwing the protesters who had been standing there skyward and knocking others to the ground. Radka stumbled backwards. Bits of road and dirt rained down around her, and there was fresh screaming as the people who had been tossed fell to the ground. Through the dust she could see at least two people with broken limbs.
CLOUD
Hanna leaned against the frame, her curly hair loose around her shoulders like a cloud. “Vanya’s looking for you. Apparently it’s time for you to start getting ready for the party.”
“Already?”
“I’m just the messenger. And now that I’ve delivered my message, I’m going for a nap before he can try to make me into a cake topper as well.”
“What do you mean, ‘as well?’” Radka demanded.
WIND
Something was burning. Something big enough to create so much ash but far enough away that it had time to cool before the wind carried it to Pyarovsk. She’d seen this before, when cities had been razed during the Liberation. But the fighting was over. The Loyalists hadn’t started their second revolution yet. Why would anything so large be burning? What city to the west was large enough for so much ash to be carried so far away?
Tumblr media
I don’t think I got any actual weather in this weather-themed list of words.
I tag @josephinegerardywriter, @etjwrites, @inkovert, and anyone else who wants to play! Your words are breathe, wild, sweet, and haunted. As always, no pressure!

Stories I like/know
Edit (March 2022) - this list is pretty outdated by now, and doesn’t include a lot of the newer additions - I don’t know when I’ll be able to change that or make a new better one, so it’s best to ask, especially if something’s not on here at all.
Here’s a neat list of things I’m into (in no particular order) + my favourite characters. I’m usually up for a conversation about any of them at any time, but not all of them are fresh in my memory.

Patapon (playing Pata3)
Hiveswap Act 1 (+ the Friendsims and Pesterquest)
Five Nights at Freddy’s (novels included) - Will Afton/Springtrap/Purple Guy

Hollow Knight - Quirrel
Machinarium
Portal (both) - GLaDOS

Owl House
ET Excursion (+ Haunted Library comics)
Metal Family - Glam
Daystone
Pink Corruption

My Little Portal
Infinity Train
Mickey Mouse Shorts
Avatar: Legend of Korra - the dynamic duo of Varrick and Zhu Li (maybe)
Steven Universe (+ movie and Future)
The Dragon Prince
Voltron: Legendary Defender (+comics)
Invader Zim (+ comics and movie) - Zim
Moominvalley
Superjail! - the Warden (actually, I don’t exactly like them, but I know them, so they stay)
Tangled: the Series (no, I haven’t seen the film yet) - King Trevor
Moomins
I also like Nergal from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, but he and Grim are the only comparatively good things in the show
Books - series and authors:
Terry Pratchett - Discworld
Edwin Abbott Abbott - Flatland
Jerome K. Jerome - Three Men in a Boat, Three Men on the Bummel
Eoin Colfer - Artemis Fowl
John Tolkien - The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings (in progress)

Philip Reeve - Larklight Trilogy (I haven’t read #3 yet)
John Flanagan - Ranger’s Apprentice, Brotherband Chronicles
I mostly read fantasy and science fiction, as you can probably guess
Ask me if you want to know anything else, I only listed the more memorable part of all the books I’ve read
Comics:

Noragami
Other:
Doctor Who (+ Dalek comics) - the Daleks (I’m on series 13, Doctor 13)
Star Wars - C3PO
HLVRAI
Asterix et Obelix movies (animated) - Asterix
The LEGO movie franchise
Mythbusters (what I managed to catch on TV (read: not much))
Most Popular Girls in School - not exactly up to my standards with the crude language, but it is incredibly well done in many other aspects
“Atlantis: The Lost Empire” might be my favourite animated film (I haven’t thought about it extensively, but it’s way up the ranks anyway)
“The Book of Life” - Xibalba (It is another good one)
Aviators (musician)
I know “Hamilton: an American Musical”, “Heathers: The Musical” and “Les Misérables” (2012 film)
Minecraft animation in general, there are some great original series out there I could recommend (like Minequest, The Egg’s Guide or Annoying Villagers)
2D animation fan
I love songs about video games

OC Intro!
Tumblr media
A Song of Sirens WIP character + first spoken words
Jerome Martine, 15 years old. Male.
Fair skin tone, dark blond hair, blue eyes. Short? Two inches shorter than Ivor.
Important points about Jerome:
* Lived in France most of his life until about a year and a half ago. Only joined the factory a few months before the start of the story
* Has frequent nightmares, usually about darkness or being left alone
* Is a little jumpy and anxious but confidence grows
* Is a beautiful writer. Has a big vocabulary and can forge any handwriting or signature presented to him
* Likes reading but takes him ages to finish any book
* Can be really chatty if you let him
So there is character five, only one more to go! I feel like this moodboard is kind of empty looking?? Not sure, but either way, here is Jerome! :D
