And what I mean by that I mean dilly dallying with my thoughts and headcanons of the characters and the story.

Cid, the Helpful Adventurer - A helpful and optimistic fighter, albeit only one of the few people to work at a ripoff Walmart. Most of the time, she's seen with the Power Five and fighting alongside with them.

Leon - Likes knocking over stuff from a high area, like a cat.

Wandering Fisherman - He uses his boat to travel and fish most of the time. He doesn't mind freeloaders on the boat.

Betty Clicker - Usually can be find in her own little shack where she can serve you food. She's very fascinated by monsters and their biology.

The Power Five (a group nickname given by people because they're the most efficient in early to mid game, I think this has led me to see them as a literal team):

Treebeast - Does NOT have a proper house, in fact, they have a small tree hut in the Great Forest. That was their home until he moved in with the Power Five in their house. I have a feeling he has connections with the Great Forest Seer.

The Great Forest Seer - Kinda acts as Treebeast's father-figure most of the time, he also accidentally sparked beef between a few people. No one knows why. They're pretty much the wisest (and the most sane) of the Five.

Ivan, the Brawler who's also a beverage-liker - He has two moods: very sleepy or has lots of energy, it kinda depends on the time. Ivan makes a lot of weird concoctions in his free time, most would make you question your decisions. He sometimes likes to babble and gossip with Britanny (since she's the only one willing to listen), some of these conversations can be really deep or flat out bonkers. And yes, he does have a punched hole in his wall.

Britanny, Beach Princess - No one actually knows where she got the title as 'Princess' from. It's unsure if she's a pageant princess, from a royale family or both. She has a bit of a friendly rivalry with Cid, mainly from their tastes in style.

The Masked Samurai - The Power Five all know he's a big loser and they keep it a secret from him so he doesn't feel embarassed.

I'll probably leave it at here since I don't wanna spend too long on this. But I think part 2 will mainly focus on Team Something??? (name might change later), a team consisting of Natalie, Bobby, George, Midas, Referi and Broyle (and others).

Arthurian non fiction recommendation list

I don't talk much about non fiction arthuriana because I usually don't read much of it but I have an immense love for some specific arthurian non fiction books.

I am not really interested in historical Arthur, but I love to see the evolution and addition of arthurian elements in literautre through time and space. For this reason, my absolute favorite is the series "The Arthur of the..."

Here are some:

Arthur of the Welsh (the one I always take with me! It has information of the triads, early Welsh texts and poems, Culhwch and Olwen and the Mabinogion arthurian texts)

Arthur of the French (in particular has a section about Arthur in modern French movies and fiction!)

Arthur of the Italians (this I did not check as I read the texts in Italian, but I know it has information on the Rustichello da Pisa text, the Tavola Ritonda and i Cantari, the ones with Gaia as a character)

Arthur of the Low Countries (one of my favorite because it has full summaries of some Dutch texts that are impossible to find in English like Walewein, Moriaen, Walewein ende Keye, Roel Zemel)

Arthur of the North (has some summaries of some really hard to find stuff arthurian like Ívens saga, Erex saga, Parcevals saga, various Nordic ballads, Hærra Ivan Leons riddare)

Arthur of the Germans (another good one! It has info on a bunch of German texts that are hard to find like Wigamur, various fragments, Tristan traditions)

Arthur of Medieval Latin literature (for the older stuff, like Geoffrey of Monmouth, Nennius and Life of Saints)

Arthur of the English (if you are really into Malory)

Arthur of the Iberians (I have not fully delved into this, but the chapters seem to be about the reception of arthurian matter in Spain and Portugal)

Basically, different authors tackle the arthurian traditions (more or less obscure) from different areas and time periods.

In general, if you like Welsh arthuriana anything written by Rachel Bromwich will be your friend, especially "Trioedd Ynys Prydein: The Triads of the Island of Britain".

Ian and his friend Fin were hateful lads. Part of a dangerous growing part of society that believed if your weren't white, you were filth and didn't deserve to walk the planet.

One day the beat the hell out of this one young black teenage to the point he nearly died. Fins rings imprinted on his body, Ian kicked the shit out of his Latino boyfriend as well. After visiting his boyfriend in the hospital, Hector set out to make the young punks pay, making a wish for them to get the ultimate payback.

Fin's came while he was showering. As he washed off the blood from his hateful assault, he wiped the steam from the mirror to find he had changed.

He had been turned into the thing he hated, not only had he switched races but he was now gay as well. His tattoos were gone, something else was happening inside him, his hate was gone, in fact his entire past had been rewritten, instead of growing up on the streets he lived a good life with loving family and friends, In fact he was in a committed relationship with Ivan his boyfriend and he was quickly becoming the hottest supermodel, the old Fin was gone replaced by Leon, but deep inside Fin was still there having to live his new life learning instead to be kind to others.

What the Fuck, Leon heard as he exited the bathroom, a towel covering himself, not as if his boyfriend cared. He stepped into the kitchen to find Ivan.

Ian was now Ivan, Leon's sexy Latin lover, the son of immigrants he too was a model flaunting his beauty in front of the cameras, while in their spare time the boyfriends volunteered at a LGBTQI+ organization helping to stomp out the kind of hate Fin and Ian used to reveal in.

In fact it would turnout they were friends with the young men they beat up and spent most of the day by Hector's side as he waited for his Kevin to wake up.

I hope to hell whoever did this gets what they deserve. Leon said as he held Hector. Hector and his new friends knew they in fact did get what they deserved as they had become exactly what they hated.

Life is too short to hate one another, there is enough hate in the world, be kind and love one another.
