#project sekai#pjsk#prsk#emu otori#proseka#tsukasa tenma#nene kusanagi#rui kamishiro#wxs#wonderlands x showtime#GUYS I AM PUTTING OFF WORKING ON MY COSPLAY SOMETHING STUPID. im tireddddd i like sleeepingggff i want to play and drawwwww#after work I literally ate a giant bowl of mac n cheese and climbed into bed. lifestyle choices of a 9 year old#anyways i want figure skaitng set. bad. PJSK HAS A WEIRDLY LOW NUMBER OF ACTUALLY WINTERY SETS... like 3. kind of.#i have some thumbnail sketches but im kind of stumped on composition for them. my idea was a nene focus set#(IF HER NEXT FOCUS ISNT PHANTOM OF THE OPERA THEMED INWILL DIE. BADLY. THEYRE GOING TO AN OPER AHOUSE. PLEADBR)#originally my idea was for nene to be biting a medal i was very sold on it bc i love nenes competitive side#however her outfit is so nice i want it to also be part of the art .. its heavily inspired by that one iconic eunsoo lim dress#from her somewhere in time program iirc. im really undatisfied with emus dress tbh my origimal idea was to give it a phoenix look#but a lot of the firebird/phoenix skating programs have very sleek dresses and i want emus to be fluffy. the balance is hard ..#and since i want her program song to be once upon a dream from sleeping beauty i swerved to make it look a bit like auroras ? but again#it definitely feels like the weakest of everybodys ... maybe i just love her too much and want her to look the best. sorry wxs.#tsukasas outfit is supposed to look like a shooting star. easy. program music moonlight sonata 3rd movement like from dazzling light. easy.#actually i like takahashi daisukes moonlight sonata program its a medley of the 1st and 3rd movement.. i think the calm at the beginning#is best. maybe smth like that.. for his card inhad him doing a haircutter spin but again. the outfits good i want the outfit visible. damn.#ruis the one im very set on even now. girl why are you so phantom of the opera.#it has a lot of beautiful programs to reference but the outfit i didnt really have any solid reference i kind of just balled#my main idea was to make it look a bit like both christine and the phantom.... gender Fluid.#my yapfest... i should be SEWING!!!!!!!!#despite my yapping im not that well versed in figure skating i cant really distinguish jumps i just like it . and medalist#i only do normal skating. bc i played hockey for like 7 years LOLLLL inlove skating though Heart.

having one faction being written as only heroic and awesome and the other being written as only villainous and awful negates the original message of grrm’s original work, btw. it’s kind of interesting to see how these characters are written (the greens being a dysfunctional family who don’t seem to like each other vs the blacks being given positive traits that belong to the greens in the books, or simply not writing things if the source material that could make the blacks seem not heroic) and how fans take this very seriously. it’s partly a result of the marketing strategy for season two, the whole “everyone much choose a side thing” because that’s… not the point of this war, at all. but it’s also the writing and it’s very deliberately very obviously pro targaryen, especially with the whole “aegon conquered westeros for the good of the world” thing they have going on. which is an incredibly strange take. i think it’s really telling when you compare how the tragedies are written. rhaenyra’s loss of her children is obviously and rightfully tragic. her journey in episode one of season two was so tragic and so beautiful because you don’t hear her speak until the end of the episode, when she finally realizes her son is gone. but you also have her riding a dragon immediately after giving birth to her stillborn daughter, who is never mentioned again, if i recall correctly, and that doesn’t seem… possible. but with the greens, you have a very horrific and traumatic event via the brutal murder of jaehaerys being reduced to two silly men committing a crime, when that crime was the beheading of, like, a five year old. you then have his grandmother having sex while this is happening, in an attempt to blame her for it, which is genuinely so infuriating. idk why i made this post, i saw that season two wasn’t even nominated for best television drama and i was just like. yeah i know that’s right. you cannot expect an show adaptation of a very well-known series from a very well-known author to do well when you completely ignore the original source material and then claim your interpretation is better or the truth. it’s simply insisting on itself and it’s simply pissing on the tragedy of the dance of the dragons and it’s simply exhausting.

Some of this is an expansion of a thesis that I was prodding at in my speech and debate piece ten years ago in high school (which was an admittedly somewhat naïve exploration of the relationship between science fiction, optimism about the future, and scientific progress, though I stand by elements of it), but there really is something fascinating about the way Back to the Future, as a piece of science fiction media, engages with its own genre.
In the "better" timeline, George McFly, an avid sci-fi fan, goes on to become a science fiction writer. Doc Brown was inspired to become a scientist by the works of Jules Verne (and in the video game, has another Eureka moment when he sees the 1931 Frankenstein film for the first time); in the musical, he describes his time machine as "A car for the stars / Like Captain Kirk's." As a sickly girl, isolated from her peers, Clara Clayton fell in love with amateur astronomy and stories about traveling from the Earth to the Moon.
I'm just so enamored with the fact that, unlike some other media, Back to the Future loves being sci-fi so much. There's a consistent throughline in every piece of BttF media--even the newer ones--that science fiction is something good, and inspirational, that makes people feel less alone, and forges connections, and encourages people to learn and invent. And that throughline is absolutely in conversation with the fact that the 2015 segment of the second film presented a decidedly aspirational vision of the future, even though other contemporary portrayals on the new millennium were starting to skew bleaker and more cyberpunk. It would come across as a little self-aggrandizing if it didn't feel so genuine--and it also helps that some of the positive impacts shown are smaller, and more personal. George finds a fulfilling career. Doc and Clara fall in love. It's more like watching a work of fiction earnestly believe it has something to say than it is watching it be self-important.
"You can accomplish anything if you put your mind to it," "Your future hasn't been written yet. No one's has. Your future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one." Do you see. Do you see it.

I love the idea of machete faking his own death and moving to Florence to be Vasco's bookkeeper/ accountant or something. I know it's basically just a fix-it au for your doomed by the narrative dog men, but it makes me happy.
Also I absolutely adore your artstyle! It's very distinct from other furry artists I've seen. Kinda like those drawings in medieval manuscripts. Also I love the effort you've put into making believable acting characters and making them work not only in modern times but in renaissance Italy as well! You must have done years of research on your setting for it to flow so naturally!
TL:DR, I love your dogs, I love your art, and I love your writing. I'm sending you virtual grilled cheeses and tomato soup

Do you think Vlad would try to make cheese using his own breast milk? Ghost cheese just sounds like a really funny concept to me ngl. Plus he most definitely has the materials to do so. Does human milk taste similar to animal milk? Would Danny recognize it?
I have a confession to make, anon. I had planned on writing (or drawing) a scenario that features exactly this 🥴
Danny is over at Vlad's place for some kind of swanky party and enjoying one particular tray of cheese. I mean he's really enjoying it. Chowing down. Going to town. Cramming it with gusto. Not sharing it with anyone.
"God, this cheese is so good," he declares, picking up his thirteenth hors d'oeuvre and stabbing the whole thing into his mouth.
Vlad, standing nearby, smiles graciously. "Why, thank you, Daniel." He pats his chest proudly. "I made it myself."
It takes a few seconds to sink in. Danny's chewing slows until it stops altogether. Then the tears start to form in his eyes.
They're not from joy.

~ Batman (2016)
This is the post y'all never thought would exist: a French criticizing the order of the dishes in a Batman's comic. The moment they wrote those in French, they were calling for it, sorry not sorry.
So, I'm French and the arts de table is a bit important for our culture. Like, we have rules about meals and dishes (the times and the orders). Serve champagne in something else than a flute and I will lose my mind, specific glasses for specific drinks. Specific cutlery for specific meals, but that's more for fancy dinner, like Christmas or New Year's Eve. So, we have a bit of education on the subject.
Anyway, I don’t know if it's an english thing or a rich people are trying to be different and quirky thing, but some stuffs are wrong here. I'm French, so of course I will criticize a billionaire's meal. And of course, Alfred, a british man, isn't free from my criticism. Let's go.
Hors D'œuvres - Good, that makes sense.
Potage (soup but make it fancy) - Depending on the soup and the quantity, it could be served after the entrée, but I don't think it's totally wrong.
Poisson (fish) - WTF, that doesn't make sense. That's a whole fish, that's a full dish, what is this before the starter??? Also, from everything else, this seems to be the main dish? So it doesn't make sense to have it that early. And, where are the trimmings in this plate??? Just a fish??? All alone??? No sauce, no veggies??? That's a sad fish dish.
Entrée (starter) - A starter is to start the meal, so it shouldn't be after the whole ass fish! The art makes it look like a full dish, like it's the main dish, so maybe they fuck up in their translations??? During a fancy dinner, you can have fish and still have a full dish after with meat, so it could be??
Sorbet - WTF, that's like an ice cream but without lactose. That's very cold and sweet. You don't eat that in the middle of the meal??? Is this some usamerican thing I don't know about??? Some stupid rich people thing???
Salades (salads) - Thanks goddesses, it makes sense again. Yeah, salad between the main course and the end of the meal. (These carrots are barely sliced, wtf? Rich people's dishes look stupid)
Fromage (cheese) - YES cheeses after or with the salad! This is beautiful. (The orange ones better not be cheddar, or so help me. They have the money for good cheese)
Desserts - Good. The art is so sad, that does look like the desserts rich people eat, they are so small and sad looking.
Café (Coffee) - YEEEEEES You have not eaten a real meal if coffee isn't offered at the end. The fact it's in the Batcave and not in the dinning room with the guests (who don't know Bruce is Batman) implies Alfred and Bruce didn't offer it to their guests, so shame on them tho. If you are eating at someone's place, they can also offer tea if you prefer (or any distilled alcohols)
So, to finish, here is the order I would consider acceptable: Hors D'œuvres, Potage, Entrée, Poisson, Salades, Fromage, Dessert, Sorbet, Café (Potage and Entrée can be swapped, such as Dessert and Sorbet)

I can't do much productively during the heat wave/health issue flare up/etc. like work on my games or anything where I have to sit at the computer/type for long periods of time, BUT.. I did passively sculpt a few tiny foods lol. I wanted to do one of my bigger usual sculptures, but those take so much more time and concentration, I thought something small just to keep my hands busy would be better.. close up photos look kind of weird and blurry from my camera settings or something, but overall they came out okay, especially in person.. Nearly the only reason I ever wanted to buy dolls as a kid was to get my hands on the miniature foods and plates and stuff that came with them, I've always just been obsessed with small versions of things like that, so.. why not make some! lol
#sculpture#ooops.. i could have posted this on the art blog but I forgor and do not feel like reuploading everything#into a new drafted post on a whole other blog.. not in this heat.. i have no patience lol#items are: tomato. asparagus. a four leaf clover (not food lol). some sort of folded bun or dumpling with meat inside (not based on#anything specific. I just wanted to fold a flat sheet of clay into a shape). pomegranate. cheese wheel. lemon slice. some sort of mushroom.#fish (not a real one. just made up. if it looks like any specific fish that'd be interesting). and fig.#I haven't been able to get many avocaodo pits to carve again. so sculpting. then is good for a tiny craft#WISH I COULD DO COSTUMES OR SOMETHING.. i have some pikced out. bundles of clothes laying on the floor of the closet#but GODS even before the heat wave it's just been so warm.. I know.. it's the summer. of course it's warm#but WHYYYyy............. what if it just snowed all year around and was awesome and beautiful and i was so cold and could wear 25 blankets#at all times.. what about THAT hmm?? .. the ideal..#anyway.. my favorite is the pomegranate and the mushroom maybe#The fig is hard because in the pictures of figs I googled a lot of them have that sort of white powdery type of thing on the outside#that grapes and plums and stuff have sometimes and it's hard to convey that weird like.. sheen.. plus the purple with almost powdery blue#and little lighter specks plus streaks of light green and a little orangey on some of them.#It's okay in person I think but this doesnt show up as much in pictures. The cheese also looks betterin person than images. you can't tell#the slight shine in the pictures lol. but the pomegranates look cool and also photograph decent.. hmm#I should have made toast with an egg on it or something. that would be a nice addition#OH ALSO ASPARAGUS MY BELOVED.. though they look a little wonky. the cuticle pusher tool that I sculpt with in leiu of any actual sculpting#tools has a kind of triangle edge that was suite for the little leaf details of the asparagus so that was cool. its like..ALMOST right lol

Tbh I've found that for some reason basically every trans woman I know has a thing for being fat, or other fat people, to some degree. I can think of only one exception.
It is as simple as the words the immortal Freddy Mercury spoke in his sacred gospel:
"FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS YOU MAKE THIS ROCKIN' WORLD GO ROUND"
