Himiko likes to touch the pink "buttons" on Ochako's fingers. It's very rare for Uraraka to let her touch it because it tickles and Himiko always ends up floating away.
Himiko insists on taking care of her girlfriend's calluses on her hands. She likes to massage, apply hand cream and kiss. At first Uraraka said she didn't need it and was embarrassed to let Himiko touch her calluses so intimately, but after a long time of insisting Ochako let her do it and now she feels grateful and loved by her gf whenever she takes care of her hands.
On tiring days, Uraraka always makes tea for herself and her girlfriend. Ochako doesn't mind pricking her finger and putting a little blood in her girlfriend's tea, and of course, sugar is a must. Himiko loves tea with sugar.
On Toga's difficult days, Ochako insists on taking care of her. She knows that Himiko likes having her hair played with, so she prepares a bath for her girlfriend and washes her hair. She swears she can hear Himiko purring when she scratches her scalp.
At their first kiss, Uraraka was so nervous that she had to hold her breath to keep from floating away, which made his face so red she almost fainted. Himiko (who was also nervous) bit her lips so hard that a waterfall of blood simply came out. They both felt awkward and a little guilty for not being a "perfect kiss", but after a lot of talking and practice, they managed to find their "perfect".
Uraraka never had much money, so when she manages to buy a pretty dress for her girlfriend or some treat that Himiko was craving she feels extremely happy. She feels very proud that she can now help her parents and spoil her girlfriend.
Unlike Ochako, Himiko loves making gifts by hand. She obviously likes the beautiful gifts that Uraraka buys for her, but she prefers writing love letters or making paper roses. Ochako has a drawer where she keeps everything Himiko gives her, there's even a stone that Himiko found and gave to Ochako because she thought "it was very pretty"

I think, perhaps one of the funniest things to come from EPIC popularising the Odyssey is that now a ton of people think Poseidon wanted to kill Odysseus.
In the Odyssey, Poseidon has no intention of killing Odysseus. In fact, part of the whole reason Zeus lets Poseidon do whatever he wants even though he thinks Odysseus is rad and should get to kiss his wife is explicitly because Poseidon had no intentions of killing Odysseus. Poseidon wanted to pay back the suffering/inconvenience blinding Polyphemus would have caused. It's a really abstract thing tbh. How do you pay back someone permanently disabling your son? Poseidon's solution was just to amputate Odysseus from his other half; i.e. Penelope. The end game was never murder, it was always an endurance race.

(Od. Book 1: Zeus reassuring Athena that he is not, in fact, a part of Odysseus Hater-Nation. Trans. Robert Fagles)
Also, for those wondering if there's any sort of in text reason for why Poseidon wasn't around in God Games - at the time in the Odyssey when Athena petitions Zeus to let Odysseus leave Calypso's island, Poseidon was -checks notes- on vacation in Ethiopia. Yep. He left to Ethiopia for a festival and thusly was very much absent for Athena's whole "please let Ody go? Please? 🥺" request.

(Od. Book 1: While Odysseus was suffering, Poseidon went to party in the east)
I am begging y'all to read the Odyssey. It's a comedy for everyone except Odysseus and Penelope who are, in fact, suffering 24/7 365.

let’s be so real if the episode “What Is and What Should Never Be" s2e20 (the episode where Dean gets attacked by a Djinn and sees his fantasy reality) happened in the later seasons you cannot CONVINCE ME that Dean wouldn’t have fantasized about living in a perfect world with Cas.

I think people tend to assume that any criticism of worldbuilding is ultimately a demand for a story to grind itself to a halt and give the reader 20 paragraphs of exposition, and like. Most of the time good-faith criticism of this nature is coming from a core aspect of the story not being grounded in the setting in a way that outright detracts from the story's quality. You fix it not by Explaining but by Showing it passively in the makeup of the world.
Like the last instance I saw this critique in was like 'you can't expect an author to stop and exposit the nuances of gender roles/Queerness in a fictional society' and it's like yeah I don't, and in fact this is actually one of the easiest things to show in the text without exposition. If a society has gender norms to begin with you'll see aspects of these norms baked into EVERYTHING. You'll see it in its stories, its religion, its taboos, its etiquette, its clothing, its family structures, its language, its insults, its labor, its leadership, etc. It will have massive impacts on how characters interact with one another and how they perceive themselves. It will help Shape your characters.
If you do this legwork to begin with for the core facets of your story, you will find very natural places for these concepts to be demonstrated without derailing the plot and with little to no exposition. THAT sort of thing is what's being asked of you.

can’t explain why but good children’s fantasy is usually closer in essence to good adult fantasy than good YA fantasy is to good adult fantasy. the best children’s fantasy reads like the best adult fantasy, and vice versa.

are people seriously not understanding that the whole point of colin's arc this season is him trying to be something he's not??
like sure the brothel scenes are a little weird and jarring but like they're meant to be??? because he's not actually that into it, he's just trying to do what all the other men his age are doing so he can fit in??
the writers aren't trying to 'turn him into anthony or simon' or make him a rake because that's what we're used to - HE'S trying to turn HIMSELF into anthony or simon or basically any of the other guys who this comes naturally to; who enjoy sleeping with lots of different people somewhat emotionlessly and don't get lonely because of it (and no judgement to that it's just not him)
he literally kisses Pen ONCE and absolutely loses his mind over it because its obviously never felt like that for him before. that moment is his 'oh so that's what that's supposed to feel like' moment and that's how he knows he's in love with her its literally so good???
i understand people feel like its rushed but honestly to me it feels perfectly in character for him to discover the solution to his loneliness he's been searching for all this time and immediately dive into it headfirst. that moment right at the end of ep4 where he asks her to marry him is the most authentic colin i think we've seen all season. he's sweet and funny and playful and passionate and impulsive - he's finally stopped trying to be someone he's not and now that he knows who he is and what he wants he's all in.
