So I've been talking about writing a second fic for the Sonic movies pretty soon here, and I recently came up with a pretty good idea for a request I got for lee Sonic, and lers basically his whole family.

Currently, Star Trek and Doctor Who, mostly. But it's not that rare for me to dip into a fandom for a fic or two and then leave, if something gives me an idea.

Probably Roche Limit? in this hollow valley might have a more tragic ending on the merits, but I think there's a level of acceptance about it that Roche Limit doesn't have.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I mean, most of my fics are oneshots and it seems weird to describe them as having a "happy ending," but most of my longer fics I'd describe as being more hopeful than decidedly happy. So I'll say there’s so much more that we're gonna find, which maybe has the sappiest ending I've ever written.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I've gotten a couple comments that I thought were rude, but probably nothing I'd describe as hate. But there's always tomorrow!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I guess I could argue semantics and say yes, since I have written explicit sex. But as it was non-con meant to be horrifying rather titillating, I'm gonna say no.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I've written exactly one crossover, Folch and Jones, merging Doctor Who and El Ministerio del Tiempo. It had a potential audience of about ten people even after @brilliantfantasticgeronimo kindly translated it into Spanish, but I'm still fond of it.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! As mentioned, Folch and Jones was translated into Spanish, once your accomplice, now your trap and The Morning After were translated into Russian, and love, they say was translated into Russian and Chinese. It always feel so special when someone translates my fic, I love it.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope, I think I'd be scared to commit myself to something like that.

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

As evidenced by the fact that a solid 80% of my stuff is gen, I'm not really a ship person. But by number of fics written, Kirk/Spock is the clear winner, though most of it could also be read without shipper goggles.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I... don't think I have any. I have a few plot bunnies I never got around to writing before I moved to a new fandom, but usually if I write more than 100 words of something I'm stubborn enough to finish it (eventually).

16. What are your writing strengths?

Characterization, primarily. I try so, so hard to never have a "he would not fucking say that" line and I think I succeed. I like to think I'm good at hitting emotional beats, too.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Plot, plot, plot. Especially anything that verges on worldbuilding. Character creation. Humor. Romantic relationships. Sustained conflict. Often endings.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I think the only time I did this was in Bingo!, and that was a) largely made-up alien language and b) just a gag about swearing, and I still overthought it so much. So I don't plan on doing it again anytime soon.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Glee. The answer to this question will always be Glee and I hate it and one day Ryan Murphy will pay for his sins. But the answer is still Glee.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

I am, at heart, an egotist about my own writing, so this is hard! But I think, if I have to pick a favorite, I'll go with Roche Limit. I really like the concept, and how I was (I think) able to make a point about current societal attitudes while still keeping it accurate the futurism of Star Trek. I like how I got use all of the main characters. I like a lot of the dialogue I wrote for it. I like the ending, downer though it is. It makes me happy how much positive feedback it got.

ohh fun question! i have a bunch of WIPs lying around ngl, though since I've become busy with work, a lot of them I've put on the "back burner" save for like... two. Anyways!

Since ik you follow me mostly for my KKSS fic, we can focus on that!!

When it comes to writing, although I do make "skeletons" of my fics, so a very summarized bullet point list of what I want to happen, I actually plan out chapters as they happen? The minutiae is all very up in the air as far as planning goes, all I know, really, is the ending and the major shakeup's I wanna incorporate.

In the case of To Oblivion, my current (and very definitely LONGEST) WIP in the docket, I kinda have a very specific but ultimately small... anxiousness... towards a scene i've planned for the next chapter, and a much, much broader, definitely more potent dread towards the fic as a whole.

In terms of specifics? I have this scene planned where I'm going to introduce two "new" characters, one of whom will be important to the plot, from a perspective of a canon character I don't actually know (as is, and how to write) that well. I'm not sure that I can pull it off exactly correctly, and my refusal (and really, lack of time) to go cavern crawling through canon to figure things out isn't doing me any favors. Considering I could very much say the same for Sai, and that worked out okay-ish last time? Well, it's an AU anyways so!! I'll figure it out!!!

As for the broader dread... I cannot overstate this: to oblivion is NOT kind. HF is like the best most squeaky clean fixer upper version of this "AU" that i coulda come up with and to oblivion is far and away from that.

I'm gonna be blunt, I have a very certain view of the world and my views reflect very much in the way I write whether I intend it to or not,,,, so I'm kinda leaning into that for this fic, really allowing my thought process to shine through. I'm not interested on making the characters sympathetic so much as believable in how they act and react to the story as it unfolds.

Part of this dread, I'll admit, is simply because I'm not really good at plots? Actually I'm awful at them lmaooo, I don't do the /overarching and makes sense/ sorta narratives, I've just never found the inspiration to go at those so long when all I really wanna do is throw characters at each other so they can cry dramatically about their lives or whatever.

The other part is just that Naruto is a very old IP with a very old fandom and it's because of this that many of us here have a very fixed view of how characters are like, whether that's canon or simply our interpretation of them. I don't think I'm gonna be making a lot of people happy with how I plan to let the story play out - in fact, I restricted the comments from chapter one FOR A REASON! I just... I do not see a world where we finally get to the crux of why I even wrote this fic, and everybody reading will just be fine and dandy with how I make things play out.

If you think that one Shisui-POV fic /Like Stars/ is challenging and frustrating,,,, to oblivion will set your eyes on fire :\

I say this not to scare of readership but I really don't want ppl coming into the fic thinking I'm deadset on a warm, hopeful ending like I was with HF. While we're not heading towards an unhappy or even Bad ending, I just feel like it's important to set the expectation that I wrote this fic not just to challenge myself and the characters but also those who decide to read it to see my perspective of where canon went wrong with the framework of the Uchiha massacre and Konoha's handling of it. It's gonna be very hard on not just Sasuke and Shisui but Kakashi as Hokage, Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru, Sai and basically everyone who'll end up showing their faces in the fic.

So I will probably have to steer clear of TLOU which makes me quite sad, but what makes me sadder is what if all the wonderful Pedro boys writers just start writing only TLOU fic (which I’m sure will be amazing) and I can’t even read it because of my phobia 😞.

I am NOT me trying to police ANYONE’S writing, the TLOU fics will undoubtedly be incredible. I think I am having that feeling of the older sibling being afraid they will be forgotten when the new baby arrives.

I will admit that I'm a zombie girl. They're some of my favorite monsters, but for the same reason you dislike them--I'm absolutely terrified of them. I have been watching and loving horror films since loonnnnnng before I really should have been allowed to, so I have a deep love of the genre, but I also have calluses and am very hard to scare. In the moment, yes, I can be freaked out and I love love love a good scare. But very little horror lingers with me and even fewer things scar me. Zombies, though, they get to my psyche. They poke that shiver trigger in me like nothing else. And so I deeply appreciate them.

However. As someone with anxiety, I understand that some folks can't do the horror. I get that. And while I will probably lean into some of the infected stuff if I get to writing about Joel--because it goes along with protective Joel and that's got my heart purring--I'll totally tag anything both that's infected-ful and infected-free. Because you know I'm gonna write some soft Joel stuff. You know I will. Hell. That man might become the basis for my first true AU....

But hells yes, I'm going to still be writing other characters. I'm not done with the Bookshop or Din or Whiskey and his Techmate. I'm only two chapters into Branded and I'm still deeply in love with Pero. Don't even get me started with Javi. Do not.

And...I haven't really spilled the beans on this new project I'm working on, but let's just say that it involves a lot of the other boys. I can't and won't give up on our loves.

I don't think other writers will either. Whenever a new character hits, there's a glut of fic for them. But there's also a lot of writers that get overwhelmed with the crowd and take the opportunity to go into a quiet corner and play with some of the wayward boys. There will be plenty of fic to be had. And remember, every time Pedro premieres a new role, the fandom grows. So there will be more fic coming overall, I'm sure of it!!!!

His death just, I don't know. It really did hurt. When he thought about all the books he bought and didn't read?? that hit so close to home. how many books did I buy but I never read?? That line made him so painfully human and tears. I'm in tears.

Another death that hit me hard was Junpei's. I think it was the fact that he could've been okay but wasn't. His friendship with Yuuji, the idea that maybe he could've joined the main 3 and be supported by Gojo in a Gojo way? I even read some hc that talked about a mentor!Nanami/mentee!Junpei relationship. And Ig I understand that idea that not everyone can be saved but I so desperately wanted him to be saved. He lived such a shitty life and then he got this? when things started to look ok, that they could get better he just- It makes me angry and sad :)

What I'm about to say is probably biased as fuck, but I genuinely dislike Sukuna. Idc. Modern AU/fanon Sukuna is fine and the way people write him as Yuuji's brother is cute sometimes. Canon Sukuna tho? I despise that bitch. I feel so much hatred for him you don't even know. Nanako and Mimiko's death hit me out of nowhere when I was reading bits of the manga. I was so angry, I wanted to punch a wall.

I think its sadder for Levi to keep living on and even though I hate it I kinda like it in a way? I think people are always so scared to watch their favourite characters die but in this case Levi stays alive and its worse than him dying ig? I've never felt that conflict before, and its and interesting feeling + internal debate. Tbh a small part of me still thinks him not dying was bc the fandom loves Levi too much so he literally couldn't die or people would've rioted ,but you know.

Nothing makes me rage more than the way teenagers are treated in shonen. putting them through heart wrenching and traumatic situations, expecting them to act like adults just doesn't sit right with me and makes me want to scream. I loved Sasha so much, she was one of my comfort characters growing up until I drifted away from aot, and even though I should've expected it bc its aot it still hurt. Nothing feels fair in that manga/anime lol.

ngl i wasn't as affected by junpei's death. it seemed so... set up? probably cause i read the manga before the anime and didn't get fooled by the opening, but i knew junpei would die eventually. i didn't feel much connection to him whatsoever, he was okay but definitely had more space to grow. he was a wasted potential, and that's exactly how he was supposed to be seen as. i really liked the scene where ijichi lets itadori go to save junpei, i found that scene so well made and choreographed. reminds you a little of geto, eh?

Hello I just finished the Pacific and I'm dying. So it's time for me to delve into the fandom and try and fulfil my poor sledgefu heart. Have any recommendations on who's blog to look at or tags? Other than yourself because I most certainly will spend a solid 5 hours going through your tags. I've already seen a lot of your art and I think it's beautiful, just an FYI.

Oh boy do I ever have recs! It was only about a year ago that I was new to the fandom myself and slowly going through @aboutthatmelancholystorm and @persipneiwrites tumblr sledgefu tags every night, reading all of it, and being totally sucked in! ^_^ (I especially suggest Persipnei’s 3:16 AU where Sledge and Snafu are rock stars!) As for art, I think the biggest collection I know of is the blog @marines-r-gay. Some of my favorite sledgefu artist blogs include @skelesocks (Ace Eugene will hold a special place in my heart forever!) @badgerms and my old favorite the-heebiejeebies who sadly disappeared and deleted their blog :( but you can still find their old art in my ‘sledgefu’ tag on my blog like here. There’s no really ‘exculsively’ sledgefu artists out there right now, but there is a LOT of amazing older stuff to be found mixed into people’s blogs! My own art/writing sledgefu masterlist can be found here.

Not Quite Home by Seabright - A fix it fic that really fixes things. Post war set in New Orleans with Eugene showing up on Snafu’s doorstep. Snafu is cantankerous and very in character and he /claims/ he can’t ‘fix’ Sledge, but let’s face it that’s why they need to fix each other. Snafu has a lot of walls up and Eugene breaks all of them down in his steadfast way. This fic captures Snafu perfectly - even in little things like in the way he fidgets and moves. Also the last kiss is just...SO good.

Canon Compliant

Roadverse by Seabright - There are a few authors exclusively on AO3 that like...if you haven’t read their entire sledgefu collection yet, you gotta! Seabright is one of them. Roadverse is set after the war and Snafu takes Eugene on a roadtrip to Florida, there’s a lot of introspection, they fall in love, definitely a happy ending! The writing here is what really shines.

After The Happy Ending by Handdaddyhoosier - Another author it’s worth reading their entire sledgefu collection. This one is also set after the war and is more domestic. A lot of fluff, a lot of slice of life, a lot of Sledge and Snafu dealing with homophobia and overcoming it (!!). Through it all Snafu and Eugene remain sooooo much in love that they’re stronger together and...yeah...it’s good. 

Christmas Even Will Find Me by SOMETHINREAL - My favorite canon compliant Sledgefu Christmas fic! It’s just perfect! Everybody is all together again after the war for Christmas and Eugene and Snafu are playing their own little dance between each other in the corner...they’re adorable. Plus there’s a happy ending!

Maybe You’ll Think Of Me When You’re All Alone by SOMETHINREAL - A very very good fix it fic for after the war. They’re both broken but they’re together and falling in love all over again, yay! I live for first pining and emotional kiss scenes and this is one of the best!

These Foolish Things Remind Me of You by Spoondragon - Merriell is quirky and weird and collects things and his last line in the fic is gOLD. Basically them being cute, with a first kiss. I highly rec ALL of spoondragon’s sledgefu fics!

To Make Much of Time by Hueligan - FIX THE TRAIN SCENE. I will read almost any variation of that train scene where Snafu makes it right, and this one does! AND THEN RUINS IT. So fair warning, you will fall in love with this fic but then it will break your heart. Kinda like Snafu. But it’s ok cause then you can go read one of the OTHER many fix it fics and mend it again.

Tilled Earth by Killerqueenie - Okay, this is one of my absolute FAVORITES. Snafu finds Eugene playing farmer boy in a small town outside of Mobile ten years after the war and Snafu signs himself on as a ranch hand. This one ACTUALLY fixes the train scene. Eugene is prickly and untrusting and Snafu has to earn his right to waltz back into his life. And oh gosh the love each other so so much!

The Magic Helmet by jspringsteen - Cute adorable and totally in character, canon compliant and not actually sledgefu except for some delightful hints that they are into each other more than they let on. It’s just such a great moment for Snafu’s character that I’ve reread this on multiple occasions.

All You Got by ssstrychnine - Another fix it fic (I know, I love these). This follows canon so well it’s seamless and only adds subtle touches of love between Gene and Snafu - so very believable as a part of the actual show. This author has four fics on AO3 for sledgefu and I suggest reading them all!

The Jazz Lights of New Orleans by Gracefully - Yet ANOTHER fix it fic! Give me them all!!!

Like It’s Only You And Me by SJTrinity - Snafu is an artist in this so of course I’m going to biased, but this is one of my absolute favorite college AU’s. All our favorite characters are there, including Bill, Burgie, Andy, and Eddie (and even Pops! as a fatherly figure to Snafu though he’s only referenced). Snafu is as chaotic as ever. The romance is hot! There are parts where I almost bust a gut laughing. Also anytime Eugene gets all haughty and bossy with his little furrowed brow over Snafu that’s like A+ for me.

Learning Curve by Seabright - ok THIS fic defines ultimate pining over Gene for me. I have never related to Snafu more. There’s a description of Eugene swimming in a pool that just..yeah...I have feelings. Anyway, it’s a college AU that is tragically UNFINISHED and will rip your heart out, BUT the same author also has a whole bunch of more canon related fic where the two of them do get together, so that eases the sting a little. 

F.M.L by @badgerms - I maybe have a thing for swimmers, but I love this swimming college AU especially because it’s in Gene’s POV but done so well that it feels real. This fic also delves into mental illness and mental self flagellation (there are some moments that hit REAL hard if you’ve ever had eating disorders). But on top of all that, I feel like lollki really captured what is so magnetic about Snafu, and by having Gene put him on this impossible pedestal it kinda reflects what a lot of us in the fandom do with his character. Snafu makes his existence look effortless and thoughtless, Gene is incredibly jealous of how Snafu just lives, their competition is ENTHRALLING.

The Kind Of Stuff That Only Prince Would Sing About  by @stolperzunge A coffee shop AU that has Sledge and Snafu just slowly and sweetly falling in love. This one is from Snaf’s pov and since I identify with him more you know I’m gonna love it lol! There are some GREAT funny lines, Snafu has personality in spades. Eugene is a grandad hipster type who also writes erotica....I dunno it’s all amazing go read it.

There Will Be Better Days by SydneyCarton - High school AU. As someone who had a fairly shitty high school experience and many bad holidays, this is...cathartic. Gene is definitely more the caretaker here, he saves Snafu in a way that’s just as strong as when he picked him up on the battlefield. But it’s all emotional, and Snafu is this scared prickly kid. And Gene is the honor roll kid who has to play the role of best friend secretly in love with the one person who matters most to them. This author never wrote anything else for Sledgefu and I wish they had!

Okay, that’s a whole bunch! There’s even more in my aO3 bookmarks! This list is just me going through my bookmarks and selecting the ones that I especially remembered and is by no means exhaustive of all my favorites in this fandom. Well about that new fandom I'll just say dimples! I'm sorry I just don't like title dropping cause I'm always scared of coming off as demanding passive aggressively! I also wrote some - not at your levels tho, not even close - and being very anxious I always felt pressured by people mentioning fandoms to me! I really struggled even writing this to you cause I didn't want to be a nuisance but I just told myself that maybe you'd be happy to know that, if you'll ever decide to pick up writing again, someone would be stocked. I also wanted to tell you I'm grateful for inspiring me to check out Boardwalk and Chernobyl and I loved them both - I'm also thinking about trying that Euro mafia show Gommorrah but I'm kinda scared, it seems so over the top unrealistically violent. Anyway the most important thing is you thinking about your mental health and happiness so whatever you choose to do, whether you go back to that old fandom that honestly really lacks quality authors like you, try your hand at some new things with your awesome takes or just leave it be since you already wrote so much and I'm so grateful for that already, I'll be happy! Gosh! I'll just stop now cause I'm such a mess!

Btw, I would *definitely* check out Gomorra! It’s definitely a violent show, but it’s also possibly one of the best tv show Italian tv ever produced. The acting, the characters, the writing, they’re all spectacular. I also love that, even though some argue it “romanticizes” the camorra, the show is at its heart a story of people who gain a lot and lose it (and everything else they’ve ever had) in the blink of an eye, of people who think they’re playing a game that can be won, when all that game really does is destroy you and everybody around you.  Plus, the relationship between Ciro and Genny is ah-mazing in the way it develops throughout the series (and with “amazing” I mean it’ll rip your heart out of your chest several, *several* times lmao)

18. Mmm I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Ghirahim. The others I was either able to get in the headspace for or had written for previously, so it wasn't too bad, but balancing Ghirahim and Zim while also trying to get a good stable characterization of him was hard. I think I spent a long time writing and rewriting the interactions in that fic.

30. I'm ngl I don't really know what kind of surprise it means? I guess if anything I'm surprised by how well I've been taking to new ships and fandoms recently, but even more so experimenting by adding different queer takes onto characters or stuff like writing smut for the first time. Though, I suppose that has to do with all the self indulgent stuff I've been spending time on and just general improvement over time.

I guess what I'm saying is that writing is still plenty hard but over time things I used to be scared about (like writing for new ships or doing smut or writing characters I haven’t before) doesn't feel as hard as it used to.

Why is writing a masterlist so hard????

I think I have my formatting set out, but it redirects you to many different side pages. Like you go from the master list with the fandoms and characters, (which I might number how many each character has) you go to the character's master list showing what fics/headcanons they have and then you get taken to the fic/headcanon you want.

I know it works, it's just a lot of hard work... And I don't want to spam post a bunch of posts. Plus it's going to change when I add a new fic/headcanon, or when I add a new character and Sometimes I want to take fandoms out or change what fandoms I'm willing to write for.

And titling is hard... I usually just go with what a fic is based on or the title kinda says what the fic is about, but trying to title requests that I couldn't finish and posted anyway is hard... So I don't think I will ever post two characters from two different fandoms in the same post again...

Titling requests is kinda hard anyway. Plus with my current case of writer's block, it's harder. Especially since naming things is already hard for me. I know I just have to push through but it's super hard... I could get one of my friends to look over the fic and get them to help me name them. (that's actually a really good idea but I'm scared of showing the people I know my fics)

Hmmmmm... I guess I'll just have to suffer in peace. Oh well, Posting about it helps though, I'm just gonna tough it out and push myself to name things. (And make the masterlist I like and spam post)

Description: Just two friends trying to take a dip outside of  the friendzone and seeing how it’s like.

Author’s Note: I’m never really good at writing fluff, so if it didn’t turn out the way you wanted, I’m sorry. I’m also sorry that it’s really short too, as I said, I’m not that good at writing fluff. Also, this is unedited so if you spot a typo, don’t be scared to call me out!

You snorted. “What was that supposed to be? A joke?” You asked.

“You laughed didn’t you?” he asked. Millard walked in.

“What’s the diabolical duo up to now?” He asked, returning a book and grabbing another one from the shelves.

“Oh, something just ultimately diabolical,” Enoch said jokingly. You rolled your eyes, a smile still present on your face.

“He’s giving me rubbish that he passes off as humor.”

“Hey, you laughed didn’t you?”

“Hey Millard, knock knock,” You start.

“Who’s there?”

“Cow goes,” you say back.

“Cow goes who?” Millard asked, already tired of the joke.

“I believe you’re mistaken. Cow goes moo.” You say, an unamused expression on your face.

Millard scoffed. “Oh you poor soul, (Your Name), how do you put up with him?”

“Like this,” you say, flicking his forehead.

“Ow, what was that for?” Enoch asked, rubbing his forehead.

“You’re the pits,” you chuckle, running out of the library.

“You’re gonna get it, (Last Name)!” Enoch yells playfully, chasing after you. Millard sighed, sitting down and starting on his book.

“Hey Enoch, what’s this?” You asked, pointing to one of the hearts that looked a bit different from the rest.

“A heart,” he replied, eyes still focused on the homunculus he was currently being. You rolled your eyes. “I know that, but what kind of heart?”

“Don’t remember,” he said, still mainly focused on his current invention.

You raise a brow at him. “Are you used to stealing hearts and forgetting about the owners?” You asked, still  observing the peculiar heart.

He looked up, his face red as a beat—which, by the way, was very obvious due to his pale complexion. “What’s that supposed to mean?” He asked.

“It’s just a question, no need to turn tomato.”

“Enoch, you’re such a doofus.” You say, playing with his little clay buddy as your head lay down on his lap. “And why is that?” he asked, playing with your hair.

“Oh nothing, I’m just reminding you,” You giggle. He suddenly threw the clump of your hair onto your face and abruptly got off from under you. You blew the hair out of your face and looked up. “Ow, what was that?” you asked, rubbing the back of your head while you slowly sat up.

“I’m–uh–late for something,” he says.

“Something like what?” You ask.

“Uh, nothing.” he says.

“But you just said it was something.”

“See you at dinner, (Your Name)!” he said before running off.

Confused, you continue playing with the homunculus.

You were in his bed as usual (not like that, go to bed you sinners!), resting right beside him when you noticed a small book. Normally, had it been some other book, you might not have cared, but this particular book was bright blue (contrasting his almost colorless room) with the word ‘girl’ written in huge pink letters. You snuck out of the sheets, careful not to wake him, and grabbed the book.

‘How To Get A GIRL’S ATTENTION’ was plastered on the cover in bright pink and yellow. You read through it.

‘Tell her jokes. Girls love guys with a sense of humor! Try these:’ Then the rest of the page was filled with dozens of bad jokes. One of them a bit familiar.

‘It’s often hard to tell if the girl you’re interested in is interested in you. If she ever mentions a matter of heart–I guarantee you’re close!’ You rolled your eyes. Some of these tips were spot on, but others were just complete rubbish.

‘Be mysterious! Sneak off randomly when you’re with her. Don’t give her any details—always brush it off as nothing. Just pretend to be in a hurry to keep her wondering and hooked!’

As you read through these, it all started sounding familiar. ‘Oh my God, don’t tell me,’

“(Your Name)! What–that’s not yours! Put that down!” He said, jolting out of bed and taking the book from your hands.

“Enoch, what is this rubbish?” You asked.

“It’s for–It’s nothing!”

“Enoch, I’ve already seen it,” You say, an eyebrow raised and hand on your hip.

He sighed, heart beating fast. After a few minutes of silence you spoke again. “Well, are you gonna explain yourself or is the boo gonna do the talking?”

“I fancy you, okay? There. I know you don’t fancy me yet, the book says–” His statement was interrupted by your hug.

“Listen,” you started. You and Enoch weren’t used to talking to each other about your feelings so this was very new. Your faces were red, hearts beating out of your chests, your minds scrambling to get a hold of a single coherent thought. “I’m not sure how to feel. I’m not sure how I feel. But, I care about you an awful lot and… and I’m not sure if it’s in the way you fancy me, and this is confusing and–and… weird for both of us, but I’m willing to try it out.”

His heart sped up like a racecar, its only challenger being yours. “I mean, I guess that means…”

You nod, taking his hand in yours. “Yeah”
