Straw Hat girlies headcanons! (Sanji included cuz transfem bigender Sanji lives rent free in my head. Also Bonney cuz why not; And Vivi is on the straw hats I don't care)
TW: mention of sexual abuse and other kinds of abuse, and also the trauma that comes with it
Nami
Autistic, but developed the habit of masking. Has been learning to undo it around her crew. Special interest? Maps, maps, maps. Tangerines are comfort food. She also has hypersensitivity to clothes, so she picks them very carefully. Her meltdowns are often, they come when she is emotionally overloaded, and she usually needs to stay alone to calm down.
After her meltdown in Arlong Park, her arm got paralyzed due to nerve damage. Now, she uses a sling to keep it always in place and not get hurt. Her tatoo covers a little, but not all her stabbing scars.
She has PTSD due to Bellemere's death, her enslavery and also due to being a survivor of SA. Has been doing therapy sessions with Chopper (he is learning about human psychology in order to help the crew) to help cope with it and receives help and support from the rest of the crew.
VERY pale, but due to spending so much time in the sea and under the sun, she ends up having many, many freckles through all of her body. Usually keeps wavy hair in ponytail due to it being really long.
Lesbian, loves girlies. Dating Vivi ever since they set foot in Alabasta. Clings to her so much it looks like they can't be separated. Also, Vivi was her lesbian awakening in the way of "wait, I think I like girls romantically???? And they are also hot????"
When she first entered the crew, she was underweight, almost malnourished, due to never having enough food and saving almost all money to save her village. However, after Arlong Park, she started gaining weight with the help of Sanji and Chopper. Now, she is fat, healthy and happy.
Loves orange, but also blue (no, it's not to match Vivi, shut the fuck up Usopp)
Swears and yells a lot. Has low voice tone control, actually.
Sometimes, when she is sad, she speaks to her tangerines as if Bellemere was there, as it feels comforting.
Ever since she received news that Cocoyashi Village got a Den Den Mushi, she calls them everyweek to tell Nojiko and Genzo about hers and the strawhat's adventures.
Besties with Usopp and Zoro, they talk shit about everyone. Gossip friends with Robin. Is one of the few people that can make Luffy not destroy an entire fucking island. Jinbei's second daughter (first is Koala).
Loves Beyoncé, rap and brazillian funk (Luffy introduced her to it) (yeah, I know this is a more modern-au like one, but let me have my headcanons ok).
Due to high sensitivity to clothes, she usually wears beach-like clothing cause they are light and let most of her skin exposed, so she can feel better the weather.
Terrified of bugs AND bats. Almost fainted when she first heard about vampires and now is fucking terrified of the possibility.
Likes drawing, not only maps, but her crewmates too. She is really good at it, however, she won't show it to anyone, just Nojiko (she's embarassed).
Only wears makeup and/or does different hairtyles in special occasions, as she finds it to be very inconvenient when they are on the sea.
Watching and hearing the sea is a nice visual stim. It helps her to calm down from the crazy thing that is day-to-day life with the straw hats.
She may say shit about her friends sometimes, but will absolutely kill you if you say anything bad about them.
Sanji
Autistic, special interest is fishes and the All Blue. Cooking is so stimmy hmmmm. Does not realize when she is being way too much on others. Even though he doesn't seem like, is very picking about food, can't handle anything made in a shit way. Has shutdowns instead of meltdowns as trauma response, and needs to stay around the crew these times.
Has PTSD due to constant abuse in childhood and from being stuck on the rock-island with Zeff (and also due to Zeff eating his leg). Due to never telling about it to anyone, he tried to hide it from the crew because of self-loathing, but after Whole Cake Island, the moments of crisis and panic attacks were so frequent it turned impossible. He is now working on it with Chopper, just like the rest of the crew.
Tall, with very strong legs with many scars on them. Has leg and facial hair, but, after Momoiro Island, she let her wavy hair grow and now keeps it in a bun, still with the part in front of the eye, of course.
Egg cracked with Ivankov, about both gender AND sexuality. Bi queen. Even though he didn't want to pass through surgeon (aka Ivankov's fruit) he still got a lot of help from the newkama. Also learned he loves drag and will do it sometimes for the crew.
Learned ballet as a kid from Reiju and his mom. Even though he always practiced it in secret, it came out once she started to do drag (on her shows, she uses ballet steps a lot).
Fave colors are yellow and blue, it feels soft.
Swears a lot. Zeff did swear a lot back on Baratie, after all.
Calls Zeff monthly to tell how things are going. Sometimes, after this, she cries a little.
Started dating Zoro shortly before timeskip and was afraid of how he'd react to the whole trans thing, but he couldn't care less. She cried over a week because of this.
Loves woman with all of her heart, specially her crew's ones. Not in a more sexual like way, but in a whole-heartdly way. Besties with Usopp, surprisingly VERY friends with Brook.
Listens to classical and french music, but sometimes likes some rock and roll.
Has three types of clothes: suits, dresses and a suit with a short and skirt. No matter the look, is always with ballet shoes.
Fucking scared of bugs. And pigeons. Don't ask, ok?
Sings very well, but doesn't like to show it. Only does it on the bathroom, but everybody ends up listening. They don't comment cause the single time they did they thought Sanji was having a heart attack.
Adores make-up and diverse hairtyling, finds it to be really cute.
Usually rocking back and forth on her feet, it feels nice.
Once kicked a guy to uncosciousness when he touched her butt.
Vivi
Autistic, has those big bug autism eyes, even though she masks well she cannot function daily without help, Karoo is her therapy animal, special interest in bugs (shares it with Luffy), has meltdowns whenever she knows she is completely alone and helpless.
Developed some level of paranoia after being infiltrated in Baroque Works, and sometimes has frenzys in which she thinks she is back there and that Alabasta is still in danger. It diminuted drastically after Chopper developed a medicine for her, but it still happens sometimes. Those moments, she can turn aggressive and needs to stay only with Karoo so she can calm down.
Has brown skin and some tatoos typical from the Nefertari family. She is short and skinny, and the secret nobody can absolutely know is that she dyes her (curly) hair blue (it's her favorite color and her mom used to do the same, so, she dyes it. Nobody other than Nami can know though).
Lesbian, her first crush was Miss All Sunday (it didn't last much, but o boi, how many nights she spent thinking about how ABSOLUTELY WRONG having a crush on your enemy is). Had an immediate crush in Nami, but couldn't say it cuz of the whole Miss Wednesday thing. They kissed after they left Drum Island and started dating at Alabasta.
Deals with the guilt of being with the strawhats instead of Alabasta very often, and likes having hugs so it can go away.
Favourite color is blue, but not all blue, just sky-blue.
Never swears, feels a little embarassed whenever someone does.
Resolves troubles from Alabasta through Den Den Mushi, that way she doesn't get that much worried. Also keeps in contact with her dad, Pell and Igaram.
Even though they had a complicated relationship at the start, Robin and her ended up being very friends, they love parallel playing (honestly, who doesn't?). Also very close to Luffy and Yamato, the one that keeps a leash on the two of them, relates a lot to Zoro in that aspect.
Loves bubblegum pop, an absolute Swiftie. Sometimes also compelled to Aurora and Halsey.
Whenever they go to an island, she likes keeping her formal clothes (after all, she is the crew's diplomat!). In fights, she uses more simple clothes and a mask to keep her identity hidden. In the ship, however, you'll always find her in pajamas (no, she is not always sleeping, Zoro does that very well for the whole crew).
Is scared of the sea, even though she can swim, nobody knows why.
Likes dancing and presenting to the crew, but the crew only. If some outsider is there, she won't dance at all. Likes helping Sanji with the choreography of her drag shows.
Likes makeup, but hates stylizing her hair. She is absolutely terrible at it, so she just keeps it in a ponytail during fights and that's it, that's the best you can get from her.
Likes playing and fidgeting with small things like coins, buttons, rubik cubes, pebbles and stuff like that. Usually has something in her hand.
Feels bad for being one the weakest crew members, but is always cheered up by the rest. After all, she doesn't need to fight to be nakama, even though she can kick some asses.
Robin
Autistic. Weirdgirl, big autistic stare, says every single creepy fact she knows in not very good situations, no social cues get to her head, never masks, almost always same expression and tone, special interest in history, does not know how to function normally, has auditory and light hypersensitivity, meltdowns caused by way too much light, sound and visual information.
Has PTSD due to the destruction of Ohara, living her childhood, teenagehood and adult years as a runaway and being constantly betrayed and abandoned. She sometimes has moments of profound anxiety in which she asks herself if she is gonna lose her family. Chopper helps her a lot with it, and, when she has those crisis, she gets a hug from everyone anytime she asks for it.
Very tall, with a few specific parts of her body being thicker than the rest. Her skin is dark, with many scars through all of it, and she has blue eyes and long (but not as long as Nami's or Yamato's), straight black hair.
Trans woman, found out during early childhood, and bisexual queen. Even though she was never in a relationship before entering the crew, she was with a few people before. Franky is the first guy she is with, and also the first person she dates. It's a bit scary for both, but feels also really, really good.
She was underweight most of her life due to the inconstancy of her nutrition and life situation, but in Baroque Works she had lots of food. She thought a pirate crew wouldn't care about their nutrition or food, but it was opposite. Even though she does not gain weight easily, her sillouette, that was VERY slim before, became thicker in a few points. Not much, she still is thin, but it's less ill-looking.
Favorite color is purple, black and dark blue. Goth girl Robin is real.
Does not swear, but says such weird, creepy and worrying stuff it makes everyone wish she did. It would be less scary.
Loves organizing stuff, for some reason. If you leave her alone in a messy room, in a short time it will be very nice-looking and clean. She has fun with it!
After some initial tension, she started taking care of Vivi like a big sister. Was called "mom" by Chopper once and almost had a heart attack. Enjoys parallel playing with Zoro and Law, scaring Usopp and playfully flirting with Jinbei (Franky loves this, it makes them laugh how embarassed it makes Jinbei look).
Likes goth and punk music, it feels very nice to her. Also loves horror-like classical music, it helps her to sleep (weirgirl Robin weirdgirl Robin weirdgirl Robin-).
Even though she appreciates goth fashion, it's not really for her. She prefers long, purple jackets to her elbow over dark flower-pattern dresses, dark boots and her cowboy hat with sunglasses (they help her with light sensitivity and it also looks really cool).
Absolutely HATES to be around statues. They just get a nerve on her. It feels awful, she wants to break them in half so they stop looking at her.
Likes sending messages to the crew in the vitorian flower language. Nobody gets it, but they try. She keeps infodumping about it, so they can get at least a few things.
Doesn't like makeup very much, but simple hairtyling is nice. She will experiment on it, but only in particular.
Makes many vocal stims. They variate from humming to speaking random syllabes to screaming out loud. The crew has gotten used to it. Stimming with her akuma no mi also feels very nice.
Has broken more necks than you would think. Is also nicer than you would think.
Bonney
Autistic. Very loud, has no control over her tone, emotionally extreme, no social abilities, pizza is her comfort food, has hyposensitivity to sounds and lights, sarcasm queen but doesn't get other's sarcasm or lies, has meltdowns because of people fighting that involve a lot of self harm.
Has night terror with her dad being chained and his death. She needs to go to Luffy so she can hug him and feel better. Also has hyperactivity and needs medicines from Chopper so she can sleep and focus on stuff.
Small for her age, has white skin that is also tan due to the sun, likes putting piercings through her body (Chopper is scandalized), has brown eyes and hair, which she dyes pink cuz she knows her mom did as well.
Transfem demigirl, came out when she was 7 and told her dad "I wanna be a girl" "alright" and that was it. Didn't know what was a period until Chopper explained, and then got reliefed she didn't get that shit.
Eats A LOT, but runs so much throughout all of the ship all the day through it basically doesn't affect her body in a noticeable way. Shares this fact with Luffy.
Favorite color is pink, all of them. Does not matter the tones, if it's pink, she loves it.
Learned to swear on her time as a pirate. Does it on a daily basis.
Always speaks to her dad when she feels alone. It makes her feel better, to think he is accompanying her journey with the straw hats.
Likes smelling stuff. Sometimes looks like a dog while doing it. She just can feel the vibes of the person through their smell. She warns the crew whenever she smells evil. She is never wrong.
Calls everyone her big siblings. Luffy's apprentice, spends much time with him, specially when they are eating. Is spoiled rotten by Sanji, he loves when she asks for food. Loves being carried by Zoro, Yamato, Brook, Franky and Jinbei. Never gets tired of hearing Usopp's stories. Besties with Chopper.
Loves pop and rock, always sings along while screaming.
Always wearing clothes way too big for her size cuz of her akuma no mi, likes wearing bubblegum-pop and tiktok like clothes.
Scared of labs and doctors. Had to be convinced throughout an entire week to do her first check-up on Chopper. She is now ok around him, but other doctors are terrifying (she keeps trying to find out where Law hides the bodies he obviously kills. He is called death surgeon, come on).
Likes hearing Robin read books for her and Chopper. It's nice and recalls her home, plus Robin's voice is really sweet.
Loves experimenting on makeup, specially with help of the girls, but hair is too complicated. When she is not with her hat, she keeps the hair in a bandana and that's it. Plus it's always messy and she has a hard time combing it.
Stims by running. A LOT. And jumping. Whenever she thinks something interesting, she goes through the entire ship, down and up, until she falls on the sea and someone has to get her.
Can kick ass, but is still a child, so the crew kind of... overprotects her a little. Basically, if she gets hurt in battle, prepare to die. Very painfully.

New Iterators just dropped 🔥🔥 Only two of them are new, but I haven't introduced the other one yet, so I'll do that here! More under the cut:
This is Whirling Ellipse ("Ellipse" or "WE" for short)! She was my first Iterator OC, so she has a special place in my heart 🥺💖 She's playful, talkative, and very friendly, but her deteriorating systems have caused to act more loopy and spontaneous (than usual). She experiences frequent memory lapses, and her communications are shaky. Oh, and her arms fell off... oops. A grumpy Slugcat named The Salvager (who I should also probably make a post about) occasionally pops in to supply her with new parts.
Onto the new Iterators!! This Idle Speculations ("Specs" or "IE" for short); she's the youngest member of the local group. Her can is situated over a desert region, and she's far away from the other Iterators (even her own local group). She's rude, brisk, always annoyed, and easily frustrated... so! Kind of an asshole. It's always the short people istg 🙄
She pretends to like being alone, but she secretly appreciates company. She also seems to be the only Iterator who has caught onto DWOE's recent suspicious behavior...
This is Two Masquerades ("Masquerades" or "TM" for short)! They're slightly older than Ellipse. They're elegant and kind of keep to themselves (they don't mind the other Iterators; they're just very focused on their work). They're super into fashion and love designing clothing. The Ancients of their city would frequently wear their designs. Now that their Ancients are gone, Masquerades has moved onto designing clothes for the local fauna. Do the creatures appreciate it? Not really. But Masquerades thinks lizards look cute in tiny hats.
I'm going to work on fleshing these guys out some more! Thinking about adding one of two more Iterators to the group, but I have no character ideas right now lol. Feel free to check out my Toyhouse if you want lore updates and stuff. I also made a isolated drawing of DWOE (non-possessed yipeee!!!):
Actually, I don't think I've ever gone into his character here...? So I'll do a little of that right now:
Dulcet Warble of Evening was the senior of his local group. He was calm, thoughtful, and rational; his Ancients and other Iterators frequently went to him for advice or consoling. He always prioritized his duties as an Iterator, but he had a greater love for nature. He liked observing wildlife through his Overseers. He started working on a way to detach from his arm so he could explore the world and discover new species, but he never achieved that :( Now he's possessed LOL 🤣🤣

[ Depot Agents, Pt 1 ]
Did this as a little warm-up yesterday and today before I jump into coms. I'm not a human artist but CSP's new tools make me feel actually competent at drawing people lmfao
I've had hcs for these three rolling around in my head since I started writing Lost and Found last year or so! Believe it or not, but these three basically keep Gear Station running if the twins are out of town (or when Emmet needs to take a mandatory leave of absence because the man's working too hard).
Uh, feel free to use these if you want, idc, just credit me I guess? I'm not the first to have HCs about the depot agents, and I won't be the last. Their personalities just kinda shined when I started writing my fic.
(Similarities to other HCs by other people are coincidental, we just all share a few braincells lmfao)
You can read my HC takes below the cut!
Cameron:
1 of 2 depot agents that's been employed before Ingo and Emmet were made Subway Bosses that was promoted to a Lead
Often doesn't wear his hat because his fro cannot be contained
He doesn't THINK he's great with Pokemon, compared to Isadore and Ramses, but he can DEFINITELY hold his own. He's just far better with being an Engineer, problem solving, and customer service.
Was contemplating quitting until Emmet saw his potential and encouraged him to stay.
Speaking of who, he's great at strategy and logistics, so Emmet likes to use him as a rubber duck to bounce ideas off of him.
Cannot be scary to save his life. A real cinnamon roll. Kids love him.
Ingo prefers that Cameron train new Depot Agents, as he's very good at explaining things and doesn't pressure them into learning things too quickly.
Likes food. He can be easily bribed with sweets.
LOVES gossiping with Jackie. If there's a betting pool for something for whatever reason, he's usually the cause of it because Jackie gave him a great scoop.
(I immediately hc'd him as black because I have a cousin named Cameron lol)
Jackie:
Not actually a cryptid, but likes letting people think that. Her commitment to the bit is VERY strong, including roping Ingo and Emmet into it. The twins appreciate her dedication to her work, but DO encourage her to actually go home after her shift...
She actually has an apartment that's right behind Gear Station. Nobody sees her go home since she takes a back exit out of the station.
Nobody knows how long she's been at Gear Station. She did work there before she transitioned. Coincidentally, that's when the rumors about her being a ghost started...
Is VERY mischievous. Isadore despises that the twins don't seem to do anything about her pranks and behavior (as long as it isn't harming anyone or being disruptive, they don't mind. Ingo at least tries to look serious if he has to scold her; Emmet couldn't do that to save his life)
Furze and Cloud have seen her all of about 3 times since they started. Furze screamed when he first saw her (well, she did purposefully scare him...)
Usually runs the night shift. It's very rare she's scheduled during the day, and she will bitch about it the entire time.
No pronouns, do not perceive her (she jokes; she's trans)
Loves to bake. There's often pastries in the break room waiting for the morning crew.
Is a strong trainer. Prefers ghost types, though she has an Aipom that was gifted to her that often follows her around.
Will not hesitate to use her cryptid-like abilities to scare unruly passengers into behaving. She has a particularly low tolerance for creeps and perverts. It's rumored that riding the Single's train at night is the safest way to travel because Jackie does NOT put up with that sort of behavior.
(Isadore begs Jackie to stop scaring passengers. He doesn't want to have to submit another report, even though he greatly appreciates her dedication to protecting passengers).
Isadore:
@pigdemonart and I seemed to share the SAME BRAINCELL with this guy's design. I swear, I hadn't seen it before I did my initial sketches of him XD. I think we all just kinda decided "yeah, he seems like a serious guy" and ran with it
The other depot agent that was employed before Ingo and Emmet took over.
Used to be a punk in his youth, until his parents forced him to take a job at Gear Station to get him some structure and discipline in his life. Then he just kinda decided he really enjoyed it (maybe because his bullying turned into bossing others around to keep them in line)
(Really, he reminds me of Higashi, just older)
Salt and pepper hair. Is definitely daddy material
Looks scary, is scary. But is more "stern father" scary. Really, he doesn't want anyone ending up like he was as a teen/young adult. He won't hesitate to be the dad of the crew to provide some 'tough love'.
Great at customer service. But sometimes Cameron has to reassure people that he's [probably] not mad. He just always looks like that.
Can make jokes, they're just delivered in the most deadpan way possible.
Secretly likes dramas and romance novels.
[ Lost and Found Tidbits ]
(Don't mind these if you haven't read the fic! OC interactions ahead!)
Cameron prefers working with Emmet, Isadore prefers working with Ingo, and Jackie doesn't mind either if she works a day shift (though she works with Shey when she stands in for Ingo)
Isadore handles stress by working even more, which is terrible for both himself and Emmet. He'll work himself to death in order to give Emmet a break.
Jackie and Shey are best friends, somehow. Rumor has it that Jackie hung out at Shey's condo after work once, though neither one will corroborate this rumor.
Out of the three, Cameron is the best at handling someone who is overstimulated. Isadore is the worst, but he IS the best at yelling at anyone who dares to get close. Man knows how to clear a room.
Jackie loves joking about how handsome she thinks Isadore is. She doesn't have any romantic interest in him, but it IS one of the few ways to get Isadore to look flustered and distracted (and when she means it seriously, Isadore does appreciate it). Cameron will join in if he's around.
Cameron and Isadore are a formidable duo when they battle together. Though, Cameron surprisingly battles well alongside anyone.
Bonus: Isadore without his hat. He kind of reminds me of TF2 Medic, too lmfaoooo
#Depot Agents#Pokemon Black and White#submas#Depot Agent Cameron#Depot Agent Jackie#Depot Agent Isadore#These three are my favorites somehow#idk how that happened but#I'm getting better at drawing humans! Praise CSP#oooogh Isadore my beloved tho#like daddy? sorry. Daddy? sorry.#i'm not simping i swear#Though Jackie is my favorite#I love her

The typewriter and the typist, in the rain…
So this is my first OC, not perfect, even not good. It's an alternative universe which shits didn't start from 1933 (or not so much), mixed both classic one and DE. I don't want to plague the most of original story, so I only want to put her in background people if I can draw more next year just in case.
Sure the profile contains many grammatical errors. Which one's more difficult, drawing, fighting Omicron and my ADHD, or writing this in English with a help of Google Translate, it's all of above.
No more paper dolls next year, I swear.
I should buy a tablet, the cheapest one, though it won't change anything.
I should finish the game first…
(I may edit the following anytime. Not sure if there are any logical errors.)
About Her
Name: Lucetta Leonforte
Nicknames: Lu, Moon
Alias(es): Moonshine
Gender :Female
Birthdate: May 31st
Nationality: American
Place of birth: Detroit
Current residence: Lost Heaven
Spoken languages: English
Occupation: Assistant of home bakery(day), side work typist of LH Paint & Wallpaper Co.(night)
Eye color: Grey
Hair color: Blonde
Height: 5'7"
Scars: A perforating gun-shot wound on right waist
Sibling(s): A brother (7 years older than Lu)
Father: Lorenzo Leonforte, Enzo the baker, sounds familiar?
Mother: A women from Milan
BACKGROUND STORY
As a third son, Enzo immigrated to America with his wife and his firstborn in early 1900s for some family businesses.
One year later, 3 cugini (Lu's) joined the Leonfortes in Detroit, it was a hard time for everyone.
At some point before 1910, Lucetta was born on a stormy night.
Lu had a bad cold before she could remember, after that she got a husky voice and tears fall out when she sees the sunshine during the daytime. She always wears a hat/8-piece on sunny days when she's outside.
Her mother left them when Lucetta was sick, her parents had a major fight because her mother didn't want herself and her son trapped in this life. Enzo never mentions them again and Lucetta never asks.
In some year of early 1920s, the Leonfortes moved to LH to do a favor for an old friend.
Now they rent a building in Little Italy which used to be an old small hotel (not far from the bar), the first floor is their bakery.
TRIVIA
I heard you paint houses.
"I heard the Leonfortes are good executors, too bad the youngest one's a girl." says an anonymous person.
The side work is working for someone named Baskerville.
Lu's father is a distant cousin of Vincenzo, because I want to so she can call him uncle Vinny LEGALLY.
The Leonfortes are actually doing the bakery business (taste the peach pies), meanwhile they "import" something like explosives and others too complex to say right now. They are not a part of the Salieri family, more like one of the suppliers.
"Best Powder Best Dough" printed on the bakery's front windows.
They have their own delivery cars but also have a fake Rothco's Bakery one, cause they're everywhere in the city.
Lu does some of these deliveries about 3 times a week, bread, cakes, and other things better handled with care.
She only does the deliveries for her family now.
She likes uncle Vinny's business more than her father's.
Some of the side work's outfits are her father's, so don't fit very well.
She loves sitting on a bench near the lighthouse, watching the clouds, the sea waves, thinking nothing.
She's a good listener, usually she won't give any advice.
She hasn't watched the end of Sadie Thompson because she has slept.
Yes, she has a bike.
Family motto (to Lucetta)
Don't in. (Don't get involved in things you can't handle.)
Don't out. (Don't run away from your own family.)
Don't ask. (Don't question the order.)
Don't talk. (Just don't be a rat.)
Don't date with mobs/cops/lawyers/doctors especially shrinks.
Don't get caught.
Don't die. (Be safe.)
"Generally 'Don't do this, don't do that. '" says Lu.
"'I won't put any bread which is made in a factory into my mouth!' says Don Salieri." says me.

Dr Damus Info/Lore Post
Below the cut!
I'll start with random facts about our dear doctor!
Dr Damus usually has his right arm behind his back, which you all have already noticed. Though maybe you're wondering why. Well you see, he does a lot of work that requires arm/wrist strength, and unfortunately he has strained his right arm quite a bit. It has caused him to develop a really bad case of carpal tunnel.
For those who don't know, carpal tunnel is a condition that causes numbness, tingling, and/or pain in the hand and forearm (if it's really bad it can reach the shoulder too). It happens when one of the major nerves to the hand (the median nerve is what it's called, I think) is compressed/pinched as it travels through the wrist.
(It can get real bad if not dealt with, even causing permanent nerve damage!)
Dr Damus sometimes puts rose petals in his mask, that way he doesn't have to smell any... Unwanted scents
He is friendly! He actually likes people, but other people tend to find him unsettling and... legally dubious.
He has a history of grave-robbing.
Dr Damus is Demisexual (Demi Dr Damus, say that 5x fast lol)
He and Samwell have met before. He's fascinated by the scarecrow man. In this world, it's actually not common for scarecrows to be alive (though not completely unheard of, it's still rare). He really wants to know how Samwell works. How he's alive, his anatomy, why he has bones, does he eat, etc.
Samwell finds him unsettling.
Ever wondered why Dr Damus has a tinted monocle? Well, fun fact! It's actually loosely based on old lore. Plague doctors wore goggles/tinted lenses because they believed it would reflect curses back to the caster. (So so apparently if you want to be curse-proof just put on some sunglasses)
Though I draw him with a saw often, you'd be surprised how little he actually uses it on patients. He more often than not uses it for more personal projects. He does some commission work on the side
Sinthia and Damis know each other as well. They get along decently, they're not really close enough to be friends, more like friendly acquaintances. But Sinthia sometimes provides the materials that he can use, most specifically Enchanted threads.
As you guys might have noticed, Sinthia does a lot of seamwork/sewing. She has made a specific type of thread that can be used to repair whatever it's stitched into. Dr Damus sometimes buys some of these things from her so that when he gives patients stitches they heal faster! (Kind of like those dissolvable stitches that you get from the dentist/oral surgeon, but faster and more magical)
Few people know his first name. He doesn't really like to share what his first name is unless it's someone he's particularly close to. It's something sort of intimate to him. Is his first name weird? Maybe, maybe not
If I ever make this into a real dating Sim, I'd want there to be a scene for this. If someone goes the Dr Damus route, they'd eventually get to know his first name
Damus has a "doctor stick". It's basically a cane that he uses to inspect things without having to actually touch people. He doesn't like to touch sick/injured people with his bare hands (like most doctors, that's why he wears gloves and whatnot)
I'm going to make a height chart at some point for these characters, but just so you know, even though he looks tall in the drawings so far, he's actually the second shortest character in the group (not counting his hat of course, that'd be cheating).
Riahna is one of his patients.
He's somewhere in his early to mid 30's, age-wise (all the love interests are older than 20. The youngest is Samwell, who's 28/29)
He has a bit of an interest in taxidermy as well (are you surprised?)
Gender is kind of a weird thing to him. Though yes, he does go by he/him, (they/them/it/it's fine too, he doesn't really care). There's a little Easter egg in the picture that kind of indicates more for this :)
Overall he's a fairly patient guy, but he has his limits.
He tries to have good bedside manner with patients, but sometimes you forget that things that aren't scary to him could be terrifying to other people.
He treats all sorts of patients, human and otherwise.
He once had a patient that was a centaur. They didn't tell him that they were extremely afraid of needles, so when he tried to give them a rabies shot, they kicked him. Broke 2 ribs.
He sometimes has "unconventional" practices, but people can actually afford his help (he charges little to none for medical things) so people don't really mind.
When he has children patients, he understands that he can be intimidating, his solution? He actually has multiple masks! Whenever he has a kid come in for an appointment, he puts on one of his spare masks, and lets the kid draw on it.
He sometimes keeps Tools in his hat
His building/office has little to no stairs. He used to work at a medical Center that had only stairs… for the building that provided wheelchairs. It's a major pet peeve for him. He saved up to have his building remodeled with ramps/elevators. Sure, he can use the stairs just fine, but at his old center, he had numerous patients who ended up missing appointments because they couldn't get inside. He vowed not to let that happen again. He feels like it's the bare minimum for a hospital/medical Center to have.
How about we do some Dr Damus x Y/N stuff? He's supposed to be a dating sim character after all!
He's so used to wearing his mask sometimes he forgets it's there. There's a good chance that he'd try to give y/n a kiss, but forget to take the mask off and end up just kind of bonking y/n in the face lol
He can be a bit nosey, but he does mean well. (When I say he's nosey, I mean it in the way that he asks a lot of questions. He doesn't go through people's belongings or anything like that).
He, as a doctor, has the instinct to treat injuries when he sees them. So if y/n has an illness or wound, he kinda just snaps into doctor mode and feels the need to act accordingly (even if it's just a scrape, he's got disinfectant, hydrogen peroxide, and bandages in a second)
Some of his favorite flowers are Roses and Chrysanthemums.
He's not really flirty until he's in a relationship. So yeah, he's not usually the type to make the first move.
He encourages body positivity, but in a different way. He doesn't just say that "you're beautiful just the way you are", to him, that's too vague. He'd more likely say that "your body is good because it works. It does its job."
Let's say he's talking to someone who's self conscious about… I dunno, their legs or something. Maybe they've got thick thighs, maybe their legs have a lot of scars, whatever. He'd probably say something along the lines of "Your legs carry your body, they allow you to move place to place, what else could you ask them to do?"
But what if the person's legs don't work? They're unable to walk for whatever reason. "You are adaptive. You have taken what life has given you, for better or for worse. You are alive. You deserve to keep and live that life. You know I am here to help if you need."
Sorry if that was long, but that's the basic gist
He often shows affection through words, but he also likes to give gifts to his s/o. Sharing interests with someone is a big thing for him.
Imagine him giving someone a skull he found and just being like "Look at how intricate it is! Look at how it works, isn't that amazing? The teeth!" (He's very passionate about what he does, but he has a particular interest in Bones)
Pet names! He does call people "my dear" but he says that to most people, so it's not really romantic to him. But here are some pet names he might use for his s/o:
Cauliflower
Rosebud
Little bird
Raven
Love/lovely
Feather
Might come up with more at some point but that's all I got right now
I think that's pretty much it for now. If y'all have any questions, let me know!

Got any tips for drawing vitiligo? Are there any specific things I need to keep in mind for how it works and affects the character? Tryin to design a human fnaf Monty and I thought vitiligo may fit him because the black patterns on him, the vitiligo being a nod to his animatronic design.
YOO THATS AWESOME!
This is gonna be a little long winded cause I wanted to info dump so my bad girgorgnro
And yes there are! so if you don't know vitiligo is an auto-immune disorder that basically causes melanocytes (aka the cells that cause pigmentation) to either be attacked by your immune system and/or become weak/dead and unable to produce pigmentation.
This usually occurs symmetrically which is interesting but probably due to how specialized cells organize themselves during fetal development but that's just my guess lol
I mentioned usually because not every type of vitiligo occurs symmetrically, even though that's the most common case
This is a good reference photo that shows all the various types there are and an example of how this placement might work. While the symmetrical variants are, obviously, symmetrical its not a perfect mirror of the other side, so one side might have larger or differently shaped patches than the other.
Fun Fact! About 15 to 20 percent of people with vitiligo experience some other form of auto-immune disorders with the most common being hypothyroidism at 12 percent.
If your character has vitiligo they should actively be worried about the UV and wearing sunscreen!! This is because 0 melanin means 0 natural protection! They might wear hats or use UV Umbrellas or avoid going out at peak UV time which is usually around 1 pm I think.
Sometimes vitiligo doesn't take away ALL the pigment, those areas and can leave with just a lighter patch of skin tone.
While most of the time they're just blobs sometimes the inside or outside of a patch can have a spray paint looking effect, but I would avoid doing that for EVERY patch and do it just for a few!
It doesn't always occur but sometimes vitiligo can affect your hair pigmentation too!
Question: Since you mentioned black patches are those area that are unaffected or are affected. If it IS affected I would avoid using vitiligo since it is distinctly WITHOUT pigment and would use a birthmark or something along the lines of that, if not then you might be interested and doing semi-affected areas for the green and fully affected for the yellow!
Things to avoid when using vitiligo:
This may seem obvious and not directed at you specifically, but unfortunately is very common to see, especially when talking about Michael Jackson: DON"T USE IT AS AN EXCUSE TO WHITEWASH!! YES, there are POC who have universal variants and they are valid POC, do not use their condition to count them as white OR DRAW THEM WITH WHITE FEATURES!! That being said white people can have it as well! It's just not as easy to notice depending on how pale you are.
This is more of a personal issue as in this bothers me but idk how other people feel about it: but putting "designs" (like a flower or object or whatever for the patches makes it feel that it's either added for "diversity points" or just for aesthetic and not something that the person drawing put actual thought behind feels disingenuous and slightly offensive, we have an actual disability/disorder, not some fun make up look.
Other than that I think you're good to go! :}

So, I've rewatchew film Z and it's been a while I want to talk about it so I'm gonna try preparing a big review.
While I'm working on it, here's my opinion on the designs of the final battle :
Beautifull boy, classic pirate look fits him really well, don't ask me why he has 2 big ass swords considering he is so bad with them but... Big piece of meat and flip/flops, final touch *chef kiss*
Red fits him so well, I wish he was wearing this kimono more often (make Zoro wear something else than green please), big ass coat over his soulders is so dramatic, perfect.
2 positive reviews ? Well here we go for the bad ones ! What the fuck is that ? I mean, it's Nami's outfit in a Toei produced movie, I knew it was going to be real bad in term of logic and sexualisation but damn this is not even making her sexy just... dumb. Helmet with mini skirt with protection and tiny heels ? Get outta here.
Usopp, my boy, my sweet sweet boy, why do people keep hurting you like that... I'll talk about it a bit more an other time but all of the outfits for him in this movie where atrocious, he deserves so much better 😭 Like, what even were they trying to do with this all mustache/beard situation ??? At least he uses his hammer so I guess there's one positive point.
And good reviews are back !
Look at this absolute snack ! The coat ? Sexy as hell. The guns ? Iconic since Strong World (and a dozen of colours spread, seriously Oda, you keep drawing him with guns, actually give him some). The red gloves ? Ngxdfvjknx.
I adore how big coats and gloves fits him, I fell in love with this style at Strong World and Z did it again so, real happy with this one !
How tiny were the pirates they took the clothes from ? 'Cause they're from one of the crew that got their ass handed over by Z and... well this outfit is tiny. Were they children in this boat ??
Anyway, not a big fan of it but it's not to bad, the bandana he wears under his hat is real cute and his little pink coat, adorable. But otherwise I don't think such a bright red fits him so well, the blue used for the belt is really of putting for me and... well a hat over his hat... I know it's how his post-timeskip design works but I really don't like it (maybe I'll do a thread on post-timeskip design one day because boy do I have things to say).
* breath in deeply *
God, am I tired of their designs on women -_- Trying to be positive and ignoring the fact that she is in litteral underwear on a battlefield, we got her wearing a hat again and I would sell my soul to see that happen more often (besides it is a gorgeous hat, shape and colours fits her very well and the black feathers are so extra I love it), she also wear gloves and as previously stated, I have a huge appreciation for those. Her jacket is also looking rather nice, more the colour than the shape, but I'll let it slide.
To be short, illogical, over-sexualised, but with nice elements so better than Nami's outfit.
The dad is next ! And it is a positive review ! I mean look at him ! This color scheme suits him so well I actually wish he wore it more often ! His gigantic black jacket is so nice looking, and the pink slip and tights are such a nice touch, especially paired up with those flowy red boots (with tiny heels who are so freaking funny with how big Franky is).
A beautifull dad with a beautifull outfit.
And our last candidate for today, Brook ! Who absolutely rock this outfit ! I think this is my favorite outfit out of all of them because, as usual, the monster trio was really respected and had gorgeous clothes but they weren't super... original in the way that we've already see them in such outfits in the past (it's not a critic, just an observation). While Brook here is in an esthetic that fits him extremly well, as a design and as a character, and that makes his ecentric personality show even more with the mix of bolds colours and accessories (I'm in love with those earings (don't ask me how he can wear any)). And his hair looks so good in red ❤ One tiny negative spot for me would be the blue belt/scarf 'cause I don't find that this colour goes well with the rest of the colour scheme his outfit is in. But otherwise, 10/10, brilliant design, our favorite skeleton has been served !

Sportacus as Álfurildi
Choosing a Miraculous for him was actually the easiest out of all for me and the more i thought about this AU the more sense it made.
Disclaimer: this AU is just one big work in progress so please excuse the fact that i don't have most of the details worked out yet
Even without a Miraculous Sportacus was already a slightly above average hero. Not being called into Lazytown to live there with the kids he traveled around helping whoever needed him. One way or the other he ends up being chosen as the new Guardian of the Miracle Box once the Peacock and Butterfly Miraculous are recovered from the villains in Paris
Here are the references i started this process with
And a process it was indeed. As obviously as the choice for this pair was it was equally as hard to actually design him
Most butterfly inspired fashion i found were dresses or otherwise extravagant and made for women, definitely too impractical for Sportacus to wear. I like what i came up with in the end a lot and am so relieved as halfway into this process i was really scared it would end up looking like this disgusting cartoon trope where they draw old fat men in tiny pink dresses to make fun of them but thank goodness it didn't!
Design Notes:
Red Spotted Purple - that is the very misleading name of an almost entirely blue butterfly with some faintly red spots. It works though, the Kwami is purple but the cistume still ends up partially blue
Brooch in place of crystal - it was a no brainer, the round and glowy Miraculous just had to replace/join in the placement of his usual crystal (who knows if he even has the crystal in this au? I sure don't) Details on his costume get the dark purple colour of the brooch
Bandana around neck - Sportacus' canon outfit already leans very heavily on Icelandic traditional fashion from head to toe. All accept the bandana tied around the neck. With each version of Sportacus' costume getting closer to this tradition i just had to add it
Ugly ass cap he loves i guess - honestly i think this style of hat is so ugly but he seems to like it so let him keep it i guess
Blue + purple - in Miraculous canon the Kwami's colour usually is the one and only dominant colour of the costume each hero ends up with. Only Hawkmoth really deviated from this and I'm not good eith simplistic and effective designs so i went more into that direction. Sportacus' signature blue stays the base with Nooroo's purple added on top for the butterfly themed costume parts (it was accidental but also sportarobbie so that's always a plus)
Reasoning:
The show Miraculous Ladybug makes it very clear on multiple occasions that the Butterfly Miraculous is meant to call in allies to help the Miraculous Holders and that all Kwamis wish for their powers to be used for good. Despite this the wiki is written like Nooroo is evil even though Hawkmoth corrupted his powers against the Kwami's wish. Because of that i wanted to pair Nooroo with someone who could never be mistaken for a villain: Sportacus
Story:
Sportacus has proven himself a hero wherever he went, looking for the best in people while always striving for even better. Because of his many strengths he was chosen as the new Guardian of this Miracle Box to keep it safe and most importantly help Nooroo recover from the long time abuse he had to endure. After befriending the Kwami they mutually decided there would be no better new partner for the slowly healing Nooroo than the supportive Sportacus. Which works out perfectly for his own interests as well. Of cause he wants to do all he can to help the purple Kwami through his struggle with recovery and Sportacus is strong in many ways so he stays transformed into Álfurildi for as long as possible; while Nooroo powers him up nobody can get to him and hurt him again.
I actually thought up a very big load of story for him and Robbie so i won't go into too much more detail right now until you also met Robbie's Miraculous version, stay tuned!
Name:
God, did i struggle with this one. In the end i mashed together the Icelandic word for Elf, Álfur, and Butterfly, Fiðrildi, to get Álfurildi! It's lame, i know, but honestly, Sportacus really isn't good at naming things so I'll let it slide. I imagine Robbie said exactly this to him as well, and additionally is too lazy to say that nane despite being well capable of speaking Icelandic so he just calls him Fairy. Both because that's kinda what he looks like and also because (at least according to the app i use to try to learn Icelandic) the word for fairy and elf are the exact same in Icelandic. That really bothers Sportacus and always corrects him by saying "you know that's not what it means" but in the end the kids can't pronounce Álfurildi and end up calling him Fairy as well, much to Robbie's and my amusement
Thank you for your attention, it truly means the world to me that i get ti ramble your ear off with my nonsense

Growing Pains || A Marlene McKinnon fanfiction
Chapter Two - Hogwarts
Chapter One here
Finding the confidence to ask someone if she could sit with them was proving to be a lot harder then Marlene originally thought. Especially with the thought of her fight with her sister so clear in her head.
Marlene was overreacting, she knew it but she didn't care. Steph lied and her and she hated being lied to. Steph knew this.
They had both been brought up in what Marlene thinks was the right way. To respect others, to not take the purity of others blood into account, to be kind and fair and brave. That Slytherins were anything but, that Gryffindor was the house that every member of their family was apart of and that was for a reason.
But surely she knew better then this? Maybe if her sister was in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff she would be less mad. She didn't want to be mad at Steph, for she was the only person on this train that she knew. She didn't think about making friends on the train, she had just assumed she would enjoy the ride with Steph and her friends and then start actually putting herself out there to her own year once sorted.
Luckily she was able to find a carriage of her own, at the very front of the train, next to where the prefects were. She took her seat and a deep breath.
Now what?
She hadn't really packed anything in her bag that could be used as entertainment. She expected that she would have people to talk to for the train ride.
She sighed and looked out the window, this was going to be a long journey. And the train hadn't even taken off yet.
It was about twenty minutes before the train took off and then another ten minuets for someone to join Marlene.
A small plump boy, draw coloured hair and baby face entered the carriage. "Umm I hope you don't mind but could I sit here?" he asked quietly.
Marlene had to stop herself from jumping with excitement, he was clearly someone who would be in her year and she could use the company.
"Oh yes! Of corse, please take a seat," she beamed. "My names Marlene, Marlene McKinnon."
"Peter Pettigrew," the boy replied, shaking her outstretched hand and sitting in the seat opposite her. "Are you a first year too?"
Marlene nodded, "Yes I am, I'm so excited. Aren't you? Oh I can't wait to be sorted and start classes," she rambled, slightly bouncing up and down in her seat.
Peter smiled, "So am I. What house do you think you'd be in?"
"Gryffindor probably," she replied, trying not to sound as confident as she actually was. "My whole family has been Gryffindor, only makes sense. What about you? Are you pureblood?"
Peter nodded, "My family has been mixed and matched. No real legacy for me, although I'm hoping to also make Gryffindor."
Marlene nodded and politely smiled, trying not to let it show on her face that she thought he would rather be suited in Hufflepuff in her opinion.
"Do you have any siblings?" she asked, she didn't want to sit in silence with Peter. She had to make friends somehow and this seemed as good of a time as ever.
Peter nodded, "A sister, Beth her name is. She's a year younger then me. Have you?"
Marlene hesitated. Really she should've known that Peter would ask back but it still caught her off guard. She had just told Peter that her entire family was Gryffindors, but Steph in fact wasn't a Gryffindor at all.
Still, she was her sisters. And it wasn't like she expected Peter to actually make Gryffindor, he probably would never notice.
"I have one older sister, a younger brother and two younger sisters."
"Wow, big family you've got there."
Marlene let out a little laugh, "Yeah, I guess... But I like having a big family. I love my siblings as I know you must love your sister."
Peter nodded, "Yeah, definitely."
Marlene and Peter continued talking throughout the ride and rode the boats to the castle with two other girls.
Just the sight of the castle made Marlenes stomach grow butterfly's, it was everything she ever dreamed of and walking into the great hall for the first time was surly a moment she would never forget.
"When I call your name, come forward and I will place the hat on your head. When you've been sorted please join your house table," Professor McGonagall said, before pulling out a scroll and speaking the first name.
"Black, Sirius"
Black, Marlene had heard of that family before, all Slytherins, all purists, all arseholes. She narrowed her eyes as she watched the black haired boy take his seat up on the stool. This one would be obvious.
"GRYFFINDOR!" the hat shouted and the hall went silent.
Marlene allowed herself to glance back at the Slytherin table, where Sirius' family were, ready to welcome him with open arms. Now all sat with their jaws open and eyebrows raised.
Looking back at Sirius almost broke her heart, he looked... scared.
Marlenes eyes didn't leave Sirius for the majority of the sorting. It wasn't until she hear "MacDonald, Mary" that her head shot back to the front. She should be called up soon.
Mary was a small girl, with beautiful brown skin and was wearing a black hijab. She walked up to the stall and sat down, it didn't take long for the hat to yell "GRYFFINDOR," causing the hall to applause while Mary joined her house.
"McKinnon, Marlene."
For whatever reason, Marlene decided to wait a total of three seconds before actually moving, as if she was scared that there were two Marlene McKinnons in her year or perhaps if she misheard the professor and went up before her name was called.
She sat at the stool and faced the great hall. Only then did she feel so incredible small. So many eyes all staring up at her, waiting to see where she'd be placed.
She found Stephanie easily, she was sat at the Slytherin table, close to the edge of the table, as if she was getting ready to welcome Marlene into the house.
"Oh god please not Slytherin" she whispered.
Not Slytherin? Pity, I reckon you'd do rather well there.
Marlene had to stop myself from jumping too much. Of course the hat talked, she had been told this. She had been told every little detail about the sorting ceremony but now that she was here she was terrified. Steph being a Slytherin had completely caught her off guard. She just wished the hat would hurry on and sort her already.
Getting impatient are we? So Hufflepuff will never do.
Well you've got that right, she thought. Just please say Gryffindor and leave me be.
Gryffindor? You have bravery yes but also creativity and wit and, if you use it correctly, intelligence. Perhaps Ravenclaw is more your style.
Ravenclaw? She hadn't thought of herself as a Ravenclaw before. Always Gryffindor. She had to be Gryffindor.
You don't have to be anything the hat spoke again. Here all you have to be is yourself and you are not a Gryffindor
Marlene could feel the hat move on her head, she knew what was coming.
Wait, I'm not-
"RAVENCLAW!"
Marlene didn't remover much of the feast from then on. Instead she sat at the Ravenclaw table sulking. She looked like a fool.
Of corse Peter had made it into Gryffindor, along with Sirius, Mary, three other boys and a girl with red hair. She had never envied strangers more.
She couldn't keep her eyes off the Gryffindor table, they all sat there talking and laughing with their prefects. The Ravenclaws around her tried to get through. Also sorted into her house were two other girls, Emmeline and Hestia. And two boys, Caradoc and Benjy. Their prefect, Frank was currently answering every question her four housemates could come up with.
"It's a small batch this year isn't it?" A girl said, taking a seat next to Frank. "Hi, my names Pandora. I'm head girl," she said, shaking each other their hands.
"Small as in number or height?" Frank joked.
Pandora laughed and shoved him "Oh shut it Longbottom, Merlín knows how you got prefect you can't go abusing your power by bullying first years," she laughed causing the others around them to laugh along.
"Anyways, we better go off to bed. Before everyone starts clearing out and we end up losing one of you. Follow me firsties," Frank said loudly, getting up from his seat.
The five first years followed him through the castle until they had reached Ravenclaw tower.
Marlene had to admit the Ravenclaw common room was beautiful. Frank lead them down the staircase and sat the five of them on the blue sofas by the fire.
"Right, well this is it! Umm just a few ground rules that Ravenclaw house has had for a while and a few insights of other houses and all that.
"Firstly, you're welcome to borrow any book only condition is that you give it back. A rule that I'm pretty sure all houses have are parties are allowed but Hufflepuff usually take care of Halloween because they're closest to the food, there's a ball every year right before the Christmas holidays, although only forth year and above are allowed, sorry guys and parties for such events such as birthdays we say third year and above are allowed to host those. Like no offence yall are cute but nobody knows who you are or care about the fact that you're turning twelve so-" he shrugged.
"Boys I warn you, don't go up to the girls dorm by your own will you will regret it. Ummmm what else is there...? Okay if I think of anything else I'll tell you but until then, follow me youngsters," he quickly jogged to a door under the balcony, down a corridor leading to two stair cases.
"Ladies, follow those stairs up to the first door and you will find your dorm room. You'll find that your things have already been sent up for you. Boys, follow me," and with that he, Caradoc and Benjy were gone.
It was Hestia that lead the way to the dorms and immediately jumped on the closest bed. Emmeline then took the middle one leaving Marlene to take the one furthest from the door.
The three girls unpacked in silence until Hestia spoke up, "You're quiet," she said, looking at Marlene.
Marlene just shrugged, "I guess."
Hestia didn't respond but Marlene caught her and Emmeline sharing a glance.
"Well, I was thinking about going down to the common room. Maybe we could get the boys, try to know each other a little better. You two up for it?" Emmeline then asked.
Hestia nodded smiling but Marlene shook her head, "I'm actually a bit tired. Might go to bed early after writing to my folks," she lied. Really she had no intention in writing to her parents until she could properly talk to Stephanie.
The two girls nodded and left the dorm, leaving Marlene on her own.
She sighed and got changed quickly before getting into bed.
"This isn't so bad," she told herself. So far Hogwarts was nothing like she expected but it wasn't all bad. Could've been worse definitely.
With that thought in mind, Marlene turned off the lamp and slowly but surly fell asleep.

Delving into what chapter 2 of Bendy: Rewritten (or just the side scroller AU, as a couple people have called it- still working on a vaguely clever name hh) would be like, where there are choices and reactions! More canon divergence! Things set up and hinted at!
The background music changes. No shame to batim's music, I quite like it, but it can be better. Whenever Sammy's around (carrying the cutout, looking over the band room, giving his ritual spiel) a banjo is added to the bg track. The followers get string instruments, more added depending how many are in the room. The sacrifice room is mainly string instruments
Sammy is somewhat a lost one. He loses his buff rights and is a mix of his pre- and post-update designs. I say somewhat because, while he is skeletal, he drips a lot and doesn't really have feet.
Sammy actually has followers. It can be pieced together from notes and dialogue that he split from the Lost Harbor after a close run in with Bendy permanently mangled his body and converted him to worship. He brought a few other lost ones with him (like, only a dozen but a couple died on the way). They wear Bendy masks, too, yet he's the only one wearing pants (mostly to hold his legs together). He also wears gloves to hold his fingers together, and only takes them off for brief periods to play an instrument before having to put them back on. Bendy left him with a lot of lasting damage
They all look the same and they know it hh
He's a proper prophet figure now that people look up to him. If Henry can find them huddled around a statue in prayer or drawing a ritual circle, they will talk about how much hope he gives them and how kind he is, despite how strict or overly optimistic he can be at times.
The followers' opinion of Henry changes with his behavior. Suggest Sammy is nuts? Say Bendy is evil? Drink too much soup? Break cutouts? They don't like that. Ask to learn more, give them some fresh soup, maybe even draw Bendy for them if Henry comes across fresh paper, and they'll appreciate it.
The cutouts are decorated with soup and candles. Drink a couple cans and the followers won't notice, drink more and they'll be upset, drink them all and they'll get concerned. Ink rats will scuttle out of hiding and can be found licking the empty cans.
Oh yeah you think humans were the only thing the ink affected? No there are ink rats and they scuttle around. Sometimes they become an enemy if multiple melt/fuse together and it's just a Lump Of Rat
"Did you drink the soup?" "No, did you?" "We don't have mouths! We can't eat!" "Who drank all the soup then?" "I don't know, but now there are rats everywhere!"
The whole chapter 2 area is bigger, kind of. Lots more signs of being lived in, with offices turned into little bedrooms and such. The followers are shy, though, and lurk behind locked doors, so finding them is tricky. Signs of life are everywhere but finding the life itself is difficult. Finding ones that talk more than a sentence is even harder.
Sammy is unhinged. Well-meaning, but ultimately mentally...cracked. He claims to have visions he interprets, but it's ambiguous whether they're nightmares/dreams or if Bendy's messing with him. He genuinely believes that Bendy will set them free, and he wants the best for his sheep. He'd be amicable if he wasn't trying to sacrifice Henry.
Instead of pressing the switches to open that first door, Henry had to find a pipe valve. A new "mechanic" of sorts is draining flooded halls. Ink pours down from piped above in an unpassable wall, and one or two valve are needed to shut it off completely.
Remember those notes I mentioned earlier? Well, some found around the music department contain buckets of how the followers see Sammy and their situation in general. They range from "oh hey here's Sammy's favorite tune-" to "note: don't play the organ! D:"
It's possible to find old newspapers and comics. Some of the pictures have been carefully cut out and pasted on the walls in various memorials, ranging from Bendy letting them outside to Sammy being "blessed" by the Ink Demon.
Some of the more petty depictions paint Alice as a jerk. She's an angel, he's a demon, so they're opposites. Since Bendy's so great, she must be awful! Rumors of a cruel Alice in deeper levels are hinted at.
The band room is slightly different. The projector's bulb is burst and there's a sticky note on it saying something about how touching it when you're made of ink is a bad idea, and to fix the projector before Sammy notices. Henry has to find a lightbulb and fix it now before he can turn it on.
The fight after opening the sanctuary affects the followers' opinions. They begin to realize what Sammy has in store for Henry. Killing all the searchers make them either makes them wince or frustrated, depending on their view on him up til that point.
I feel like you could probably click/interact with the banister to look over and it shows a still image of the band room below, and it shows whether or not the projector is fixed/playing and also shows any Bendy cutouts that pop up. I tried to draw that but couldn't get the angle I wanted, so
Sammy's sanctuary is like...just a big ol Bendy shrine. It's also where he sleeps, writes songs to Bendy, and where his banjo is kept. He has a Bendy plush on his bed
The further the chapter goes on, the quieter the followers are to Henry. They're gathering candles and offerings of personal belongings. They might be bittersweet, neutral, or glad to be away from him, depending on Henry's actions.
Jack is important to Sammy. They worked closely together and so they somewhat remember each other. He acts as Sammy's personal treasurer and doesn't let go of anything given to him. The first encounter with Jack is relatively the same, with needing to grab a valve from him. However, instead of holding the valve, it's sitting on the box
Henry's notes in his sketchbook also change depending on his interactions with things. If he annoys the followers and develops a bad relationship with them, he'll treat them like blind fools. If he helps them or is generally nice, he'll sound more sympathetic towards their situation and wish them well.
One is in the infirmary, badly hurt, missing a leg, practically a searcher, and delusional after getting just grazed by Bendy's aura. They believe they've been blessed by his presence, despite falling apart more and more by the hour (Bendy and any ink creature do not go together-). Henry can kill them and put them out of their misery, if he so chooses. The others won't like that.
Whether Henry kills him or not, Jack remembers. Getting items from him in the future becomes harder if he's killed multiple times, until eventually he's downright scared (I'll delve into more detail on the mess that is chapter 3). Befriending him completely later in chapter 3, on the other hand, will make the task easier.
Killing Jack triggers a horror vision. Henry briefly becomes unable to move, visibly distressed and looking around until the vision ends.
Not necessarily the sewers you first encounter him in, but close enough. You know you've entered an area Jack's in if there's a random item on a box that's under a light in an otherwise dim ink-flooded room
He goes through 'stages.' First the valve is on a box. Henry tries to grab it, but Jack (moving through the ink) pushes the box away. The methods of dealing with him is a messy web of cause-and-effect, with chances to crush him, corner the box slowly and steal the valve, it rush at it and cause it to slide off, or snatch his hat and bargain. (It's possible to steal his hat, kill him, and then keep/wear his hat, but why would you do that? Jack would forever loathe Henry and later on Sammy may ask for it back)
Nothing will stop Sammy from knocking Henry out. No matter how kind or cruel Henry is to his followers, Sammy will smack him over the head with a dustpan. He can't run, but the man can be sneaky if he wants to be, lurking through shadows and phasing in and out of the ritual portals.
(Clarification: because it would be a side scroller and the player could see Sammy sneaking up on Henry, instead there's a ritual circle on the wall that he'll jump out of when Henry walks past it.)
The sacrifice room is more of a hallway. The followers are all watching from the sidelines, peering through knocked out walls and over makeshift fenceposts. Candles and other offerings are around Henry. Sammy gives his spiel as always, first starting with a quiet "that face..." whispered mostly to himself but then using his Big Loud Musician Prophet voice to put on a show about how grand the sacrifice will be and how happy Bendy will be. The followers get excited for it.
Messy rendition but you get the picture
Sammy enters the room off to the side and calls for the Ink Demon. Ink leaks from the vents, and his aura is making some of the followers unsteady/weak. They become more restless, and unstable, until the calling reaches its climax (Sammy also sounds out of breath and his voice becomes wet and labored) and Bendy arrives out of sight. Sammy is torn apart, as per usual, though it's a slower, more audible mauling, and drags on through Henry's escape.
Some followers flee into the ink, while one or two are liquidated just by Bendy's aura. Others panic and attack Henry when he breaks free, messed up by Bendy's aura and so they resemble searchers.
Whether or not Henry powers through the onslaught or axes the frenzied followers may alter the number of followers he encounters later on, and (combined with how he'd treated them) how they react to seeing him again. "Oh I kind of remember you" vs "I don't blame you for using the axe" vs "Did you slaughter your way down here, too?"
Like in the updated chapters in game, the you can see ink machine lowering past crates/wood boards
Bendy actually pries himself up out of the ink with effort. Like, hands planted on the ground, lurching up, ink sloughing off of him, generally more detailed for a 2D animation.
Boris time! The boy himself peeks out from behind a wall before stepping out of the shadows
Feel free to send an ask for clarification/more detail about anything- I'm happy to go on more tangents!
#rants#batim au#Bendy: Rewritten#batim but it's a side scroller multiple choice game#but not really a game because i'm not a programmer so i will instead share every single choice and outcome#batim

An amazing fan tribute to Weiki. Unique facts compilation 👌🎃
I've just found the post on DeviantArt. As great Weiki fan also, I can confirm that he's really that marvelous just as the author describes him. This will make you feel warm and will set smile on your face as well as you will check Helloween vids/lives while exploring this facts. So, here we go.
Further credits : SamWeiki
100 Reasons I love Michael Weikath
Possible – scratch that, definite – Fangirling ahead (I tried to keep it to a minimum and I probably failed)
1. He has the most gorgeous blue eyes. [right off, I told you – Fangirling]
2. The songs he writes are so unique and AMAZING. Most of them mean quite a lot to me, as well. I’ve always been drawn to them. They just have a certain special quality to them that I love.
3. He wrote “Keeper of the Seven Keys” for cryin’ out loud!
4. His “thanks” section in the Unarmed booklet.
5. He’d pick Judas Priest over Iron Maiden in an instant.
6. The way he sometimes answers questions. For instance, he was asked about what fans could expect from The Dark Ride and his response was: “Well....hmmmm you can expect that it will be standing in stores and it’s very likely you can buy it when you find it there! hahahahahaha apart from that I don’t know if it’s going to say anything but you can go there and buy it, listen to it, and use it, because it’s a CD and it usually makes a lot of sound if you put it into a CD player......but probably doesn't work if you put it into a toaster.....hahahahahaha.”
7. If he wasn’t a musician, he says his life would be dedicated to cartoons.
8. He dedicated the Hammond version of “Burning Sun” to the great Jon Lord.
9. He’s an artist. His little skull and pumpkin drawing is beautiful.
10. He makes the best faces in concerts.
11. I love watching him in the High Live video, especially during “Steel Tormentor”. [I did not just say that]
12. He made the frog noises at the end of “Nothing to Say”.
13. So many people have blamed him for things over the years, when he did nothing wrong, just because they feel it's easier to blame him. I experience that quite a lot and have for several years, so I understand what it's like but he seems a lot stronger than me about it, as it's very hard for me to get over a lot of that stuff. He's sort of my hero about that because it seems like he hasn't let that really stop him.
14. How he totally told off that Phantom guy. His responses were awesome.
15. A part of “Do You Know What You Are Fighting For” is Deep Purple’s “Stormbringer” backwards. There’s actually a lot of Deep Purple in that song. Makes me love it even more – both songs.
16. He played on Uli Kusch’s cover of “Eyes of the World” from the Rainbow tribute album and he played all the guitar on that song. “Yeah I played on Eyes Of The World. So I did all of the guitar work on it. Uli told me that he did not expect me to have the guitar work as close to the original song as I had it.”
17. The seven pronged star on the cover of 7 Sinners was his idea. And what a damn fine idea it was because it makes a freaking sweet album cover! It was a lot of fun for me to draw, as well.
18. When writing “LAVDATE DOMINVM”, he called upon his old Latin lessons from school and actually got to work with his old Latin teacher on the lyrics. Weiki hadn’t worked with Latin for a bit, so he had to relearn a few things and he even managed to correct something his teacher had written.
19. His response to what animal he would be: “A lion, 'cause I could be lyin' round lazy and have my food brought to me by other people.”
20. Helloween would not be Helloween without him, plus Markus and Andi wouldn’t let him quit in 2000/2001.
21. He drew the logo and original pumpkin.
22. How beautiful the lyrics to “Windmill” are. Example:
"Don't feel alone and depressed
Someone will come, at last
To soothe your storming mind
To keep it away from the evil storms."
23. You can clearly hear the man singing in “White Christmas” and he’s the most fun to listen to.
24. “Introduction” never fails to make me laugh very loudly, especially the lyrics to “Rock n’ Roll All Day”.
25. He likes Spinal Tap.
26. The way he sang “Gorgar will eat you” in the Keeper Legacy interviews.
27. He was asked what his motto in life was and his response was: Be as friendly as it comes; have fun, make money and spend it on charity to help people. ~Sei so freundlich wie es geht; Spaß haben, viel Geld verdienen und es für wohltätige Zwecke ausgeben, um Leuten zu helfen~ (it was originally in German)
28. His black and white outfits in the ‘80s and ‘90s, especially those awesome star-printed pants.
29. The entire story of the Keeper of the Seven Keys and Master of the Rings.
30. The Jacuzzi scene in the Keeper Legacy Road movie.
31. He likes Aphrodite’s Child, Nektar, and Camel. He’s cool.
32. I really don’t think I’ve heard him say anything bad about anyone.
33. The moment when he switched his guitar off and “played” a solo after he was introduced in The Legacy concert.
34. “All right… That’s enough! Now, I want to hear Dani’s drum solo!” *rapid fire – BLAMBLAMBLAM!* The first time I watched the “Smoke On the Water” bit from Hellish Rock, I nearly fell to the floor laughing.
35. About the time Pink Bubbles Go Ape came out, in an interview, Michael Kiske said something about they weren’t Metal, they didn’t do that “Heavy Metal” thing and Weiki says, “I thought we were Heavy Metal”. And Michi completely just stopped talking for a second.
36. The way Weiki messed around with Michi and Roland during the interview mentioned above.
37. How much fun he looked like he was having in the “Kids of the Century” video.
38. Every time he dances around on stage.
39. His love for Gibson Les Pauls.
40. He was reading “A Hat Full of Sky” and even recommended it.
41. He says that his writing “Keeper of the Seven Keys” kept him alive and he considers it a major turning point in his life to have come up with the idea for it.
42. The hairspray scene in the Hellish Rock road movie.
43. He actually got involved with the DJ game when they were in Japan (Keeper Legacy road movie) – the whole arcade scene was great.
44. The way he just looks at a camera sometimes and doesn’t say a word – he just starts making faces and looking off in different directions. He can be funny without saying a single word.
45. His guitar solo in “Back On the Ground”.
46. He played most of the guitar on the Better Than Raw album.
47. Weikath Syndrome is the coolest thing to catch.
48. During the German Top 6 video (1993), he was drinking a Capri Sun. I think it may have even been Wild Cherry.
49. A Gibson Les Paul looks absolutely perfect on him. I also love the way he holds the guitar.
50. How his hair has always been shoulder length (at least) since the late ‘80s (and beautiful).
51. He thinks of the younger viewers/fans.
52. All the love for him in the Hellbook.
53. I don’t how much of the lyrics to “Dreambound” he wrote, but he has a credit on that song and OH MY GOD, is it flipping incredible! I must make special mention to how amazing “the Saints” is, too.
54. He wanted to talk to Michael Kiske when they met at a festival in 2012/2013, so they could try and work things out a little.
55. He wanted “Livin’ Ain’t No Crime” to be a single.
56. His song “Number One” and how uplifting and positive the lyrics are, especially the chorus.
57. When they were on the Ferris wheel, they didn’t start REALLY laughing until Weiki did.
58. How he introduces himself as “de Michael Weikath of Helloween” and he even got Dani to do it with him.
59. He contributed a guitar solo to the German Rock Project’s “Let Love Conquer the World” (the long Metal version) but went all incognito with it and is credited as “a member of the Seventh Key”.
60. The fact that he wanted a flute in “Raise the Noise” and it sounds totally awesome!
61. The sexy witch on the cover of Better Than Raw was Weiki’s idea.
62. His makeshift rocking chair.
63. His spoken part of the Dezperadoz song “First Blood” (and “Echoes of Eternity”, too).
64. How funny was in the two Nuremberg interviews from the ‘80s that are on YouTube.
1987 – He lights a cigarette, he passes it Ingo, Ingo passes it back, and Weiki passes it back to him. Ingo then proceeds to throw it on the ground and Weiki attempts to lightly hit him but only manages to hit his hair. xD
1988 – The FUNNY one! He was so frickin’ funny in that one. I won’t give away the end of it if you’ve never seen it, but it involves a balloon and a cigarette. (by the way, Michael Weikath takes his sunglasses off and puts them back on 13 times, 10 of which are in the first three minutes).
65. After an interviewer thanks him for being there, “Ja, that’s not so much I can do about it, because somebody put me on this Earth and I went out of my mother and suddenly I was there and now I have to deal with this crap.”
66. During the Indianapolis Hell On Wheels concert, during “Halloween”, Michi passes the mic over to Weiki and Weiki does the “I’ll show you power and glory” part. Michi then makes a disgruntled face at him and rubs the mic with his shirt, causing Weiki to make a face back at him!
67. Also from the same Hell On Wheels concert, during “A Tale That Wasn’t Right”, he was stepping on the skeleton and making Ingo laugh.
68. Speaking of “A Tale That Wasn’t Right”, that song is incredible and very powerful.
69. He let the other members of the band help out on “Mission Motherland”. That song is very quickly becoming my favorite song of theirs.
70. His backing vocals in the “Sea of Fears” demo.
71. All of his little pins that he wears: the pumpkin, the W, the stars…
72. This comment he made about the Hellbook: “With the hardcover you can better smash your naughty brother... and you can with the regular as well, just maybe not as effective.” I have actually made that joke to my brother before. xD
73. Someone at a meet-n-greet in 2008 showed the band an old picture of the guys, which they all signed. It was an old picture. Kai was stunned, Markus laughed his ass off, and Michael actually said he remembered where it was taken and when. The picture was taken in 1986, so that is kind of impressive.
74. He helped me become a big fan of Deep Purple. Yes, I will admit to only becoming a major Deep Purple fan after becoming a Helloween fan - and it was all because of Weiki. And now I'm really happy because I never realized how awesome Deep Purple is. Same thing with Wishbone Ash.
75. He’s given me several phrases to use whenever applicable.
- “Impressive, isn’t it?”
- “You have to listen with your ears.”
- “It’s nice, cold, windy, sunny weather.” (which pretty much describes Florida in the winter sometimes)
76. He can still sing with a cigarette in his mouth and not drop the cigarette.
77. The intro to “Halloween”. I’m not sure if he played it on the original recording, but when he plays it live… OH MY GOD.
78. His guitar solo in “First Time”.
79. He’s fun to watch in the “When the Sinner” video when he’s shown, especially when he’s playing those power chords in the beginning (even though he played no guitar on the song) and the part in the saloon.
80. How amazing “Les Hambourgeois Walkways” is.
81. He’s written a couple songs that he has dedicated to groups of fans ~ “LAVDATE DOMINVM” for the Latin speaking fans, and “Born on Judgment Day” for the people of Brazil.
82. How he’s so easily able to make Sascha laugh behind the camera.
