soulmate hanta who is completely oblivious to that fact that he is your soulmate. everybody is born with a soulmate mark, a scribble of words that are the first words your soulmate utters to you placed somewhere along your hip. hanta sero who is nonchalant and chill about things that he doesn't realise he's already met his soulmate. they met on the first day of ua and he didn't even notice, and you... well you noticed but how could you tell him.
everyone's going around introducing themselves, he doesn't introduce himself though. your bag was neatly tucked away under your desk, already ready to start class when hanta somehow tripped over it, he caught himself in the last minute
"fuck, that could've gone really bad." he grinned at you and you were too stunned to speak, your body felt warm, like fireworks exploding and the warmth left over from sparklers their bright vivid colours flowing through you, you found your soulmate. you didn't get the chance to reply to him, an authoritative voice started speaking, aizawa sensei, and then class started.
you tried really bad to talk to him but he oozed of confidence and friendless, if the roles were reversed and you tripped over his bag you don't even think you would of been able to say something, you'd probably just rush off in embarrassment. he jokes around with everyone and you fade away in the background, you didn't even mean to, it wasn't your intention, you told yourself that when you started ua and started the hero course you'd put yourself out there more but that changed when the idea of talking to your soulmate was so daunting.
soulmate hanta who lays in his hammock with his arm of his face, groaning because you are just so adorable! and you won't talk to him, you're quiet anyway but around him it's like you don't say anything. he doesn't even know if he's ever heard you talk. he frowns at the idea that you won't talk to him because you don't like him, he wants you to like him, he wants you to talk to him! everything about you leaves him in a tizzy- the way you smile, your laugh, your anime pins stuck to your bag, how you got bakugou to open up to you even before kirishima. he can't explain it but he just wants to be near you.
you want to be near him, you want to ask him about his favourite manga, you want to know more about him but you conclude your soulmate wants nothing to do with you. you've only spoken to him once, a month into meeting each other, and he didn't say anything about your mark. he didn't have any reaction. you were talking to bakugou, arguing over who did better in the practical today out of the two of you and you're too involved in proving that you were better that you don't realise hanta and kaminari have walked up to you both. you've spoken to kaminari on a couple of occasions he's nice but a bit too complimentary to girls for your liking and you haven't said one single word to hanta, overthinking every little thing. "oi, you two which one of us was stronger today in our practical?" bakugou shouts over to them.
you don't remember kaminari's response, you remember hanta's, "i mean you're good bakugou but she's miles ahead of you." your heart soars, you don't think you've ever been so happy in your life. shouting ensues, lots of shouting, bakugou calling hanta blind and various other insults.
over all that you say, "thanks sero, you were great too," the end of your sentence gets quieter and you stutter more. they can barely hear you over all the shouting. hanta doesn't look at you or make any acknowledge of what you just said, like 'oh hey, that's what my soulmate mark says' nothing. he heard you but he didn't want anything to do with you. the rejection hurt but you knew something like this would happen, you never expected him to like you but you would've liked him to say something like 'i'm not interested but i still want to be friends with you.'
the lack of any acknowledge on his behalf made it clear to you and you don't want to disrespect his wishes, if he doesn't want to get to know you then you won't force yourself into his life. what you didn't realise is your soulmate didn't even hear what you said... he didn't reject you at all he just didn't hear.
five minutes beforehand he was almost dragging denki by his sleeve over to you and bakugou because he wants to talk to you. he's had this warm fuzzy feeling from the first moment he's seen you and it's just grown and grown.
soulmate hanta is buzzing now that everyone is moving into dorms because surely that means you'll have to talk to him.
soulmate hanta who inserts himself into your life. that anime pin on your bag? he's asking if you've read the manga. he's making teasing jabs at bakugou with you about how his cooking for everyone gives it away that he loves all of the class, bakugou always tells him to fuck off and you have a fit of giggles. he gives you ideas when he can see you're struggling and hit a road block with your hero costume support items. he'll swing you with him to the roof of tallest towers in the city and talk for hours until the sun comes up about the future and plans for being a pro. he's loud and sociable and brings you out of your shell to speak up when he can see that you want but are too afraid to, he's there to give you a push but also relax with you in the dorms when he can tell that you don't have the energy for everyone. he'll bring snacks and you'll watch films and he'll speak to you gently and soothingly that puts your mind at ease when you get overwhelmed. he'll read you manga while you rest your head on his lap and you'll get overly competitive when it comes to mario kart.
you don't understand why your soulmate had this change of mindset about you, maybe it's because you're all living together but now you have him in your life you're not jeopardising that. the time you share with everyone is amazing, and the time you and hanta share with everyone is amazing but when you're just together alone that amazing turns into perfection. you want to bottle up those moments with a glass and keep them forever.
falling in love with hanta didn't surprise you, you knew it would happen sooner or later. you never spoke to each other about being soulmates or relationships (you thought you knew why) you didn't engage in conversations with the rest of the class about it either. you didn't want to put hanta on the spot like that, 'yeah, i've found my soulmate guys, i spend every day with him but he rejected me. oh look! here he comes now, hi sero!' you were wrong though. it didn't happen like you thought it did.
soulmate hanta who isn't just called 'hanta' in your head but when you speak to him or about him, after eight years of knowing each other you've gotten past the use of family names. the first time he heard you speak it his heart skipped a beat. your heads were pressed together and you were under a blanket asleep. you both drifted off at some point during film night, it was time for you both to start joint patrol so you woke him up, whispering his name. you joined the same agency so that meant you liked doing as much joint patrol with each other as possible.
soulmate hanta who's never been in a relationship before and is a complete virgin. he doesn't care about other girls, not even to look their way for a night, all he cares about is you. the idea of even dating a girl riddles him with guilt over how he wishes it was you. hanta is fully aware that you've never been in a relationship either.
soulmate hanta can't bare to look you in the eyes and hear about the person you love or how you're yearning to find your soulmate. he couldn't bare that pain. the idea that you have someone out there- it kills him. in that sense he's insecure, he knows he should be supportive and ask about your soulmate, it seems that every other person has had at least one conversation about it but he just can't. you've never even had a relationship and he knows he should ask why but then you might ask him the same question and the reason would be- you.
the thought that his words may be written on your hip never cross his mind, he's never been in denial that he loves you but he never thought it was reciprocated.
the thought that he himself has a soulmate never, even for a second, flits through in his mind. he doesn't think he's met them and he doesn't care if he does. they won't be you.

written by both @raven-naaaaa and @theaspen
Tumblr media
You know that feeling when you look at your best friend and your heart skips a beat, and their smile makes you smile and the entire world seems to fade into the background and it feels like it's just you and him in the room?
Yeah, apparently not everyone felt that way about their best friend. But..you did.
Jake Sim made you so goddamn happy.
Whenever his eyes searched for yours in every crowded room, and the instant smile that accompanied his starry eyes when he recognized your face, your heart did a little tap dance.Either you were projecting your thoughts onto him or just maybe, he liked you too.
But here's the thing, you don't think “like” would do justice to the feelings you harboured for the boy, and using the big L word made your insides cringe.
You've never been in love before. Crushes? Sure, you've had those. But these huge feelings? Those selfish instincts that came over whenever his smile was shared with everyone else as well? Was that normal? You didn't want to know.
"Hi __," his voice is warm and familiar. His arms wrap around your waist as he pulls you into one of those hugs you've come to love.
"Hi Jake,” You greet him back. Internally scoffing at yourself. Because practically anyone could hear the giddy smile that accompanied your voice.
Jake pulls you even closer, if that was even possible. Smiling into your shoulder as well. It's been a few seconds, but his hands still linger on your waist and when he pulls back you can still feel his touch.
Jake's touch is gone, but your heart still feels that stupid annoying rush. You ignore it completely, because honestly? The intensity of your feelings scare you, and the way Jake throws you the yearning glances scare you even more. In fear that you're probably just being delusional all by yourself.
"You look good," he tells you as he tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
You don't try to fight his touch. If anything you lean into it.
Jake seems to have noticed that- his thumb traces some invisible shape on your cheek, eyes so full of adoration.
"Thank you," you reply bashfully. Somehow you could never be nonchalant and cool to him like you are with others. And it pisses you off.
"Come on, let's get to our seats," he says, holding your hand and dragging you through the semi crowd and toward the seating area.
Coming to a football game would definitely not be your first choice, but here you were, with Jake because Heeseung “dropped out” at the last minute and he needed some company.
Okay, here's the deal. You didn't know much about football, but you just came along because well, you're a fool in love.
You didn't mind it honestly, because if watching some dude run around the field with a ball made Jake happy, you'd sit through it for however many times he wanted.
So there you were sitting mindlessly nipping at your sandwich.
“___, the first quarter is done,” Jake grins as he sits down beside you.
“How many more of these do I have to sit through Sim,” you fake whine as Jake laughs beside you.
“You do realise you didn't have to come along with me right?” He chuckles, throwing an arm across your shoulder.
“And leave you here all by yourself to look like a loser with no friends?” You scoff, giving him a smug look, “I'm practically saving your reputation here Sim. A thanks and a lifetime supply of chocolate muffins would do.”
Jake simply rolls his eyes at your faux uppity look.
You shift in your chair as you look around the field, “What do people even do in these breaks?” you ask.
Jake points towards the huge screen that was displaying the results a minute ago.
“See that,” you hum mindlessly, “that is a kiss cam. So during the breaks, people usually just look at other people snogging each other.” You snort at his words and look at the screen. As if on cue, the camera points towards a young couple. The couple share a flustered look before pecking each other and the entire stadium erupts into cheers, and you couldn't help the smile on your face.
“That's so cute…but also lowkey weird, what if it points towards siblings? Or like friends? Wouldn't that put them in an awkward position?” Your question is genuine, but Jake only hangs on to one thing you said.
“Friends?”, he parrots, as his cheeks flush pink, “like us..?” His voice is low, but you catch onto it. Your face heats up at the thought of kissing him. You lock eyes with the boy. There was something so magnetic about his eyes.
You let out an awkward chuckle, “I mean, we don't have to worry about that, no?” You force out a laugh, fiddling with your fingers. “It's not like the camera is gonna point at us.”
“___,” Jake whispers, “you might want to look at the screen.”
Well, fuck.
The camera was pointing towards a very familiar young couple, well at least they looked like a couple on screen. You swore to God your heart was going to jump out of your rib cage. You turn away from Jake, avoiding the camera and Jake laughs awkwardly, crossing his arms to sign ‘no’, which had the audience booing at the two of you.
Thankfully, the camera quickly pans towards another couple, who seem more than happy to kiss each other.
Jake breathes a sigh of relief which you don't miss. Your chest heaves a tiny tiny little bit in disappointment.
Luck definitely wasn't on your side today because soon after, the camera panned towards you and Jake. Again.
Jake laughs as he signs ‘no’, earning more boos from the crowd. You looked up at the screen and noticed that the camera was still on the two of you.
You don't really know what got into you, maybe it was the consistent booing by the crowd that finally tipped you over, because one second you were looking at Jake on the screen and the other your hands were on his face as he looked up at you with wide eyes.
“Sim, I'm going to kiss you,” you rush as you pull him towards you, “If you don't want this tell me now.” He doesn't really remember much of what he said. All Jake remembers is the feeling of his lips on yours.
He could have sworn he heard fireworks when you pulled him closer and crashed your lips against his. Your lips were soft against his and there was a sense of longing in them. God, you drove him mad.
He lets out a groan as his hands find company at your waist, pressing and feeling your skin. He couldn't believe this was happening.
You couldn't believe it either. The moment his lips were on yours, it felt like it was just the two of you in the stadium, but unfortunately, the loud cheers of the audience brought you back to your senses as you heaved against his chest, him burying his head into your neck.
“Fuck, you have no idea how long I've waited for that,” he whispers against the shell of your ear, sending shivers down your back. “Yeah?” You look up at him with a flustered smile.
“Yeah.” He says, gulping. The rosy flush on his cheeks still present. The camera isn't pointing at you two anymore and the game has already resumed again. But the two of you can't help but continue to act like giddy idiots.
You're definitely gonna have to thank Heeseung for dipping out on Jake today.

after rain, comes sunshine — huang renjun
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: huang renjun x f!reader genre: coffee shop au, grumpy x sunshine, fluff, romance, slow burn-ish wc: 6.7k synopsis: a thunderstorm leaves renjun stuck with his relentlessly cheerful, ever-optimistic coworker— you. you're the embodiment of everything he hates, but as the night stretches on, renjun starts to realise that the things that irritate him the most may not be all that unbearable after all. at least, not if it involves you.
Tumblr media
There are three things in this world that Renjun hates.
Early mornings, small talk, and thunderstorms.
He must have done something super horrible in his past life, because it's barely even 3pm, and Renjun has had to go through all three of the aforementioned in that exact order.
He wasn't even supposed to come in to work today, but Donghyuck had called in sick (Renjun finds that hard to believe) and he was the only other person on the roster who knew how to make a Toasted Caramel Cloud Latte. Obviously, that wasn't a good enough reason for Renjun to willingly sacrifice his much-needed sleep, and it seemed that Donghyuck knew that too, because not only was he quick to promise Renjun to cover him for his next shift, the boy had also vowed to chip in to buy the new set of gouache paints he had been eyeing for so long.
That was what got Renjun out of bed, albeit begrudgingly.
The last thing he needed was an extra factor to contribute to his already-terrible mood, but that was what he got anyway when he stepped into the café, only to be met with you.
"Morning, Renjun!" You chirped from behind the counter as you dried down a mug, the café already prepped for opening— you liked to take your time when doing the opening duties, and you found that coming in earlier helped avoid any unnecessary rushing on your end.
Renjun didn't say anything, opting to shut his eyes as he tilted his head to the ceiling. You didn't miss the tick of his jaw as he trudged towards you wordlessly, letting his bag fall from his shoulder to the shelf beneath the cash register.
"You know how to make a cloud latte," he muttered under his breath as he put on his apron, securing it tightly with a double knot behind his back. "Why am I here?"
Despite his less-than-enthused response, you grinned. You've been working with Renjun long enough to know that he's a little bit of a grump, so you didn't take his moodiness to heart.
"Hyuck's your best friend. It would make sense for him to ask you instead of anyone else," you reasoned lightly. "Plus, having company isn't so bad, is it? You'll be out the door before you know it!"
Tumblr media
"Citizens are advised to stay indoors..."
Renjun lets out a groan as he lets his head hit the cabinet behind him. It hurts, but not as much as the migraine that's already beginning to form in his temples. And as if to add insult to injury (no pun intended), the sky lets out yet another guttural rumble, reminding him once more of his ill-stricken fate.
"I don't think Seoul's had a downpour this bad in ages," you remark from somewhere at the dining area. Renjun couldn't tell where exactly you are; he had slid down to the floor when he decided to accept his fate fifteen minutes ago, and his only view since are the bottles of syrup and unopened bags of coffee beans under the espresso machines.
And as if to add even more insult to injury, the two of you are the only ones left in the shop. With it being a Tuesday afternoon, most of your regulars are either at work or school. Renjun has never liked working during the rush hour, but God does he wish for that to be the case now.
He looks up when he sees your head pop above the counter, raising a brow at the smile on your face. He knows how awfully cheery you are, but even in a time like this? You must be crazy, he thinks.
"Isn't this nice? I never knew this café could get any cozier."
"Nice?" Renjun scoffs as he finally gets to his feet. "What about this is nice? We're stuck in, I don't know, what might as well be a Cat 5 hurricane, and you think it's nice?"
You roll your eyes, seemingly unbothered by his sharp tone. "You're so dramatic! I've been in one, you know? While I was on vacation in the States. It was a Cat 2, I think, and I promise this doesn't even come close to that! I mean, as long as we're not asked to evacuate, we should be fine-"
Renjun lets out a loud tsk, cutting you off as he unties his apron rashly, the fabric crumpling in his hand.
Your eyes widen when you register his movements. "You're not actually planning on leaving, are you?"
Renjun scoffs dryly in response. "You think I have a death wish?"
"Honestly? I could never tell when it comes to you."
He glares at you.
You quickly round the counter, successfully trapping him before he could escape to the break room. "Look, I'm sure it won't be too bad! Let's just continue to wait for updates. Coffee?"
"I hate coffee," he deadpans.
"You literally work in a café!" You laugh airily, moving to the teabag jars beside the espresso machines. Despite the heater being on, the coolness from the outside is starting to seep in, and you're sure Renjun could feel it too.
He doesn't say anything but huff under his breath as he leans against the cabinets behind him, taking out his phone from his back pocket. You take it that he's done with the conversation.
For a while, it's silent, the only sound apart from the tinkling of your metal spoon the harsh crashing of raindrops against the window panes outside. You think it's calming, but Renjun seems to think otherwise when you see him flinch from your periphery at the sudden flash that illuminates the room, soon followed by a loud boom of thunder.
Instinctively, you turn to him, but Renjun keeps his eyes fixed to his phone, his lips downturned into his usual frown.
"Did you know that lightning is hotter than the surface of the sun?" You remark, crossing the distance towards him with the mug of tea in your hands. Renjun looks up from his phone at your question, his stare blank, but his right brow raises slightly when he realises what you're offering.
He doesn't make the move to accept the mug as he pockets his phone, opting to cross his arms instead. "What are you doing?"
You tilt your head. "Huh?"
He nods towards the steaming mug in your hands. "What are you trying to do?"
"You said you don't like coffee, so I made you tea instead! It's Lemon Balm, known to reduce anxiety. It could also improve one's mood-"
"Yeah, so long as I'm still trapped in here, that's not gonna happen," he mutters, turning to face the window outside.
The rain is still as relentless as ever, the skies dark and gloomy despite it being daytime. If it was any other day, Renjun would have already been out the door, making his way home. A regular eight-hour shift is already treacherous enough on it's own— an eight-hour shift with you, while it's raining, on top of that, has got to be one of the worst things that's ever happened to Renjun in a while, which says a lot considering he's literally living in the same timeline as Lee Donghyuck.
Renjun turns to steal a glance at you, no longer at his side as you busy yourself with doing the dishes. As if just now never happened, you're back to humming to yourself, the song only sounding vaguely familiar to his ears. The cup of tea you made him is left abandoned on the counter, and for a split second he feels guilty for having not accepting it earlier.
You see, it's not like Renjun hates you. He's just indifferent, and that makes a huge difference. He's someone who prefers to keep to himself, a concept that you can't seem to fathom for some reason, and he finds your overtly-positive attitude equal parts annoying and draining. Renjun doesn't hate you— he just hates everything you embody, and that's enough to make him stay away.
Tumblr media
"Look what I found!"
The last time Renjun heard your voice has to be around a few hours ago, when he decided to move from the counter to one of the couches in the dining area. It wasn't the most ideal considering the floor-length windows still gave him the perfect view of rain that he hated so much, but his legs were beginning to hurt from standing for so long and he didn't really want to sit on the floor and deal with your small talk any longer.
You must have gotten the hint when you decided to leave him alone, retreating to the break room to do God-knows-what— based on the grin on your face now, Renjun has a feeling that he's going to find out very soon.
You bound towards him, settling next to him with something in your hands. Your eyes instantly land on the sketchbook on his lap, but before you could say anything, like utter out a compliment on his drawing, Renjun snatches the pad away from your sight.
"What?" He grunts, cheeks feeling slightly warm for some reason. He had abandoned his phone some time earlier, deciding to peruse his sketchbook to pass the time. It was a good thing he brought it out everywhere he went— as awful of a situation he's stuck in, at least he has something familiar to keep his sanity in check.
Your grin grows wider (Renjun wonders how that's even possible) before you set a box between the two of you.
"I was bored, right? So I figured I'd clean out the break room to pass the time, and I found this! Johnny must have left it here and forgot about it."
Renjun studies the blue box, the words HALLI GALLI staring back at him in bold, yellow font. Oh, hell no. You're the last person he wants to play a card game with— not just because you're you, but also the fact that he just doesn't fare well with games in general.
It's not like Renjun is bad at them— if anything, it's quite the opposite, but the last time he played Halli Galli, he had almost gotten into a fistfight with his friends (he had to receive a kiss penalty from Donghyuck even though he won because Mark kept making up rules as they went along). Needless to say, all their game nights now require the presence of a moderator (not like that has done much anyway considering Jaemin hates intervening in literally anything ever, so Renjun doesn't know why they still try).
"I'm not playing this with you."
"Aw, why not? It's fun! Even for serious people like you," you tease, but Renjun doesn't laugh. Ignoring him, you continue, "we could make the most of this quiet time together."
"Nothing about today has been quiet," Renjun mutters. He's pretty sure you heard him, but you simply brush it off as you open the box, letting the cards fall on the sofa while you place the bell in the middle.
Renjun huffs, knowing he isn't left with a choice. You're adamant, he realises, and even if he weren't to give in now, he knows he'd have to eventually, and he'd rather deal with this now than later on.
You start the game, putting down a card of two coconuts before you glance at Renjun, waiting for him to complete his turn. He does the same (albeit much less enthusiastic than you), his card flipping to the other side to reveal four strawberries.
The game continues on that way, with you practically at the edge of your seat as you anticipate every next move. You had just put down three bananas, and your eyes are fixed on Renjun's hands as he slowly flips his card to reveal... two bananas.
You yelp, palm quickly outstretching to hit the bell, and despite Renjun's obvious disinterest in the game (or so you thought), you're surprised to learn that he's just as quick, his hand clashing against yours as you fight to ring the bell at the same time.
"I definitely got that one!" You proclaim proudly, to which Renjun scoffs.
"No way, you're barely even on the bell!"
"Nuh-uh, look! Your hand is literally on top of mine!" You wriggle your fingers for good measure, causing Renjun to look down at your hand— both of your hands, which are still on the bell. You were right; while most of your palm is covering the bell, only the tips of his fingers are touching the metal surface, the rest of his skin resting idly on the back of your hand. He's never really noticed how tiny your hands are— it's not like he's that huge of a guy to begin with— and the thought somehow brings an unexplainable flush to his face.
He quickly removes his hand, carding through his deck for the sole purpose of having something to do before passing you a card. "You just got lucky," he mutters, clearing his throat.
You giggle. "No, I'm just that good," you sing, waving the card mockingly in front of his face before putting it together with your deck.
Renjun rolls his eyes. You remind him so much of Donghyuck; it's a wonder how he isn't your best friend.
"I used to play this game a lot when I was younger," you quip randomly in the midst of the next round. You do that a lot, Renjun realises, stating facts he didn't ask for when it gets too quiet. It used to leave him not knowing how to react, but if there's anything Renjun has learnt about you in this limited time you've spent together, is that you don't need a response from him to continue talking, so he doesn't say anything.
"I'm an only child, so visiting my grandparents in Jeju was the only time I'd get to hang out with my cousins. We'd do everything together— even stay up late and wake up early the next morning so no time would be wasted. It was a wonder how we never ran out of things to do," you chuckle to yourself, fiddling with the cards in your hand.
"One time, it started to rain super heavily— kind of like right now, actually— all while we were cycling outside. Instead of seeking shelter, we decided to play in the rain. We got home freezing our toes off and I fell sick the next morning, but it was so worth it. I wouldn't trade that moment for anything else," you trail off softly, and Renjun doesn't miss the twinge of longing in your voice. At this point, the game had been long abandoned, your attention now fixed on the rain outside and Renjun on you. You turn to him, the fond smile still playing on your lips, and that is what causes him to look away, only then realising that he had been staring.
"What about you?"
Renjun's brows knit in confusion. "Huh?"
"You don't seem to like the rain very much."
"Yes, because it inconveniences people. Kind of like the situation we're in right now, don't you think?" His tone comes off as a little snappy, but before Renjun could regret it, you're already beaming at him in response. He wonders if you're ever capable of any other emotion apart from happiness.
"Sure, but look at where it brought us! Two friends, bonding, towards becoming even better friends!"
Nevermind. He doesn't feel bad anymore, not when he remembers that this is who he's dealing with right now. Plus, the term friends is a little bit of a stretch, isn't it? He doesn't know anything about you apart from the fact that— well, you're an only child and that your grandparents live in Jeju. He doesn't even know your last name, and he'd like to think that that should be the minimum requirement before considering someone a friend.
He rolls his eyes as he lazily throws his last card, ready to wrap up the game, only to perk up when he sees his lone strawberry face-up with four of yours. Quickly, he reaches forward to ring the bell, grinning in triumph when he realises you hadn't gone head-to-head this time.
"A-ha! I win!" Renjun smirks proudly, too caught up in his victory to realise that he's smiling. It falters when he notices you staring at him— not in defeat, but something much... softer. It looks similar to when you were recounting your memories with your family in Jeju. It looks like Jaemin when he's scrolling through pictures of his three cats in his gallery. It looks like Mark... when he's on FaceTime with his girl whenever they do long-distance.
Suddenly, Renjun could no longer hear the rain thumping harshly against the window next to him. He could no longer see the lightning that comes in flashes, nor does he flinch at the thunder that follows. Only two words form in his head:
Oh, shit.

Renjun utters a curse under his breath as he switches to his phone app, bringing the device to his ear immediately after he dials Donghyuck's number. It rings twice before the boy picks up.
"Injun-ah!" Donghyuck's voice is hoarse— so he wasn't lying about being sick. That doesn't make Renjun any less annoyed, though. "I was so worried-"
"Cut the shit, Hyuck. Did you know?"
Donghyuck is silent before he replies, as though carefully choosing his next words. "... Know what?"
"That she likes me."
"That who likes- oh my God. Did she tell you already?" If it's even possible, Donghyuck's already-naturally nasally voice sounds even more annoying now that he's excited while sick.
"What?" Renjun hisses into his phone, glancing around the room to make sure he wasn't too loud. Granted, he's currently alone in the men's room and he's 90% sure you aren't outside eavesdropping, but he could never be too careful. "So it's true?"
"I mean, only because she was so fucking obvious," Donghyuck snickers before he breaks out into a fit of coughs. "I'm surprised it took you this long to notice."
Renjun groans. "How the hell was I supposed to know? She talks to everyone the same way!"
"Dude, have you seen the way she looks at you? It's like when Jaemin looks at Luke, Lucy, and Lu-"
"Yeah, yeah. I got it, alright?" Renjun grumbles. "Shit, what should I do now?"
"Um, nothing? It's not like you're even supposed to know that she likes you," Donghyuck quips plainly. "Dude, why are you even freaking out? Wait- do you like her back?"
"No!" Renjun exclaims, a little too quick for his own liking. Maybe it's because he could practically see the teasing smirk on his friend's lips, or maybe it's just the suggestion that sounds so fucking absurd he had to shut it down immediately. "It's just- look, I've been nothing short of mean to her this entire time so I kinda feel bad, alright? Why would she even like me like that? I mean- is she some sort of masochist, or something?"
Donghyuck guffaws, clearly not about to let his embarrassing stuttering slide. "Okay? And why are you so worried? Since, you know, you don't like her like that and all."
"You're hopeless," Renjun mutters, not bothering to bid Donghyuck goodbye before he hangs up. He should've known that the boy is the last ever person he should seek advice from; Jaemin would have made for a better candidate.
But calling Jaemin now would only be suspicious, and Renjun knows it would only be a matter of time before you would knock on his door to ask if he's doing alright— because that's just who you are as a person.
Huh, maybe he does know you better than he thought.
Tumblr media
Renjun has long given up hope that he'd be going home tonight. The thunderstorm is still as relentless as ever, the skies growing even darker now that the sun has set. The café is bathed in a warm light, and under a different circumstance he would've found it cozy.
You're situated behind the counter now, probably having moved there when he was in the restroom. Instead of going back to the couch, Renjun finds himself heading towards you. He doesn't know why.
"Forecast says the rain won't stop until morning." You don't look at him as you say this, and Renjun quickly notices the two cups of instant noodles you're currently busying yourself with, the rising steam swirling lazily in the air. You only turn to him once you're done mixing the noodles, a sympathetic smile on your face. "Looks like we'd have to stay the night."
"You sound oddly sad for someone who claims to love the rain." Against his better judgement, the words slip out of his mouth. Renjun thinks it must have something to do with his conversation with Donghyuck earlier, because why does he feel like he's being weird all of a sudden?
You merely shrug, handing one of the cups to him. This time, he accepts it, and Renjun tries not to flinch at the feeling of your fingers brushing against his.
"Well, I still do! If I could, I'd run outside right now and play in the rain, but the news just issued a lightning alert and I'd rather not risk getting struck, you know. Besides, staying inside isn't all that bad," you quip lightheartedly, a small grin on your face as you bring your chopsticks to your lips, blowing on your noodles lightly.
Renjun doesn't say anything, his brows only furrowing at your response. How is it that you're still so cheery even after everything that's happened? It's as though you didn't just find out that you're literally stranded here with no way home until the next morning.
The room illuminates momentarily when thunder strikes, and this time, Renjun does flinch. If he wasn't already holding on to his cup of noodles so tightly, it would have already spilled all over him. Clearly, you notice, and you don't look away quickly enough to act like you didn't.
"You know, I've learnt recently that a lightning bolt is only as wide as your thumb, but it could stretch on for miles," you say as you swallow your food, showing a thumbs-up as you grin at him playfully. "It's kind of crazy, right? How something so small could be so powerful?"
Renjun clenches his jaw, shutting his eyes momentarily. "Alright," he mutters, placing his cup on the counter. "Why do you keep doing that?"
You raise your brows, lowering your hand. "Doing what?"
"That. Every time it gets loud and I- I startle, you tell me some random fact, as if it's going to magically drown out the thunder."
"Well, it works, doesn’t it? It’s my secret technique to distract you! And think about it this way: every time it thunders, I get to share a cool tidbit with you. Like how lightning can strike the same place twice!”
"Yeah, because that makes me feel so much better," Renjun mumbles, though he finds that the edge in his voice has softened.
"Oh, relax." You roll your eyes jokingly. "Lightning only often hits tall structures like trees or skyscrapers, so you’re safe here with me.”
He scoffs. "Tall? Is that a jab?"
You gape, and you fear that you've struck a nerve within him. "N-No! I mean, I'm just saying! You're probably just not tall enough to worry about it, unless you're like, I don't know, Yao Ming or something," you start to ramble. "Even then, did you know that the tallest man in the world is a whole foot taller than him? I guess he would have a higher chance of getting struck by lightning, then, wouldn't he? Or not, considering, well, you know, he's dead. I don't-"
You're cut off when you feel a palm cover your lips, and your eyes widen at the contact. Renjun stares at you, unimpressed.
"You," he starts. "Talk too much. You know that?"
With his hand still over your mouth, you're unable to reply— even if it wasn't, you doubt you could, anyway. His skin against yours brings a warmth to your neck and cheeks, and you could only hope he couldn't see how bright red you're sure you are.
You nod your head slowly.
Renjun scoffs, finally dropping his hand as he glances to the window behind you. If you weren't already staring at him so intently, you would've missed the slight upturn of his lips. "Wow. So not only am I terrified of the storm, I'm short, too?" He shakes his head, half-amused.
"Hey, you said it, not me!" You exclaim defensively, feeling much more relieved now that you've seen him smile. You wonder if he's aware of how pretty his smile is. "Though for the record, I think you're the perfect height!" You pause, "f-for dodging lightning, of course!"
Renjun didn't like how the first half of your sentence made his heart beat faster. If only he were any closer, he'd hear your heart beating just as fast, too.
Tumblr media
"You kids hang on tight, alright? There are blankets in the break room if you need them— and keep me updated!"
You've been in contact with your boss since the lockdown announcement hours ago, and despite your last message telling him that you and Renjun are alright, it seems that it's just in Johnny's nature to be overly-concerned as his worried face now flashes on your screen.
"We're alright, Boss, we promise!" You say for the umpteenth time. "This shop's stable enough to withstand a strike or two I'm sure, so we'll see you tomorrow morning!"
"Don't joke about that," Renjun hisses, nudging your arm with his elbow. He turns to the screen again. "We'll be sure to give you hourly updates."
At this, Johnny seems a little more at ease. You bid your boss goodbye, and the café soon falls into a silence, with only the humming of the lights and distant rumbling in the skies to keep you company.
"So... should we get ready for bed?" You ask, slapping your thighs as you stand up from the couch. For some reason, it feels awkward. You've long grown accustomed to Renjun and his lack of words, but somewhere along the way today, it seems that the air between you two has shifted— for better or for worst, you couldn't really tell— and you're not sure if you could salvage it.
You've always liked Renjun— of course you have— but today, it feels more impossible to contain your feelings with nobody else around. You like to think that you were good at hiding it all this while (despite what Donghyuck says), but right now, you're not so sure if you could spend a second longer with Renjun without accidentally blowing your own cover.
"I'll go grab the blankets," he says quietly, snapping you out of your reverie before ushering away to the break room. You let out a breath you didn't realise you were holding, turning around to face the couch. Surely, your feelings could wait, because right now, there's only one thing that matters more: your sleeping arrangement.
You bend down to grab the couch by the armrest, pulling it further towards the middle of the dining area. With it being originally situated right by the window, you figure it wouldn't make for such an ideal (or safe) makeshift bed.
"What are you doing?"
You huff, returning to your original height to see Renjun by the door of the break room, a bundle of plaid blankets in his hands. He has a brow raised— you notice he does that a lot when looking at you— and you laugh meekly.
"Just, you know. Wouldn't wanna get struck by lightning, or anything like that."
He rolls his eyes (again, something he does a lot when it comes to you) as he makes his way towards you, letting the blankets fall on the sofa. "You can take the couch. Probably should lay one of these out first, though. Not sure how many butts have been on there."
Usually, you would have laughed at his comment, but this time, you find yourself tilting your head in confusion instead. "Where are you gonna sleep?"
Renjun shrugs. "The chair works fine for me."
You frown. Taking one of the blankets, you spread it out before letting the fabric fall over the couch. "The chair? There's no way you'd be comfortable like that! Look, the couch is big enough for the both of us. We'd have to stay seated, of course, but that's better than sleeping in a chair, right? Or would you rather we take turns?"
Renjun scoffs. "What? We're not in an apocalypse. There's no need for night watch."
Still, you stall, and it causes him to sigh. Renjun steps towards you, gently planting his hands on your shoulders before guiding you down onto the sofa. "Gosh, you're stubborn. Just take the couch, alright? It's not like I'm planning on sleeping, anyway."
The last part of his sentence comes out in a low murmur, but you still catch it.
"What do you mean you're not planning on sleeping?" You echo, and based on the flash of panic that crosses his face, you're sure he hadn't mean to let that one slip.
"I mean, with the storm and all," Renjun explains stiffly, glancing away. "I'm just saying, there's no way I'd be able to sleep with all that noise."
You gape slightly before your lips transform into a grin. "Could I interest you in another fun fact, then?"
Renjun groans loudly, and you find yourself giggling at his response. And when you hear the low chuckle that escapes his lips, you find your heart swelling at the sound of his laugh.
"Seriously, let's just share, alright? Look, I'll even stay up with you! I won't talk if you don't want me to, though."
Renjun finally gives in, sitting at the other end of the couch. "When has that ever stopped you?"
Noting the lack of bite in his voice, you grin. "Touché."
Eventually, the two of you fall into a comfortable silence, and for the first time in a while, you don't feel the need to make conversation. You've never been one to be able to stay quiet for very long; clearly, Renjun is someone who does, and today, you learn that it really isn't all that bad.
Renjun steals a glance towards you, but you have your eyes fixed on the rain outside, a small smile still tugged on your lips. It looks like you're watching a movie, the floor-length windows a giant movie screen, and the flashes of lightning the different scenes bouncing off your features. He must have missed the thunder that comes afterwards, only realising it when you turn to him with that stupid, pretty smile still on your lips.
"Uh," Renjun stutters, having been caught off-guard at the sudden eye contact. He quickly looks away. "You don't have to do this."
You tilt your head. "Do what?"
"Stay up with me. You should get some rest."
You laugh, and Renjun wonders if it's always sounded this beautiful. "Don't be silly! I don't mind. I know you're gonna chide me for saying this, but it's kinda nice. I can't remember the last time I stayed up to watch the rain," you pause before turning to him. "You're probably gonna hate me forever for making you endure both a thunderstorm and my chatter in one night," you say teasingly.
"That's not true," he says quietly, only belatedly hoping that you hadn't heard him. Clearing his throat, Renjun turns to his right where his messenger bag lies, taking out his sketchbook he had haphazardly stuffed inside earlier. He flips it open, feeling your curious eyes on him as he looks for the page he had been working on.
"The rain looks better on paper for me," he explains awkwardly. "You know, since we're on the topic of likes and dislikes."
Renjun feels you scoot towards him, and he hates that he could feel the warmth emitting from your side even despite the blanket that envelops your shoulders.
"That's so pretty," you say in awe as you study the drawing. Despite it being so simple, nothing but a rough sketch of a window pane covered with rain drops, you still find yourself marvelling at the intricacy of it all. You could barely even write a whole essay legibly, yet here Renjun is, crafting a whole masterpiece with nothing but a blue ballpoint pen. "I wish I had an ounce of your talent. You're amazing, Renjun."
Even though he's no stranger to getting compliments for his works, it somehow feels different coming from you. It's probably because of how intimate it is— you and him, cramped on a couch in a barely-lit café with your arm pressing into his side— that's all there is to it, right?
But as he turns to you, taking in the stars that seem to dance in your eyes and the pink hue that dusts your cheeks even in the dark, Renjun starts to wonder if maybe, it's more than that. If maybe, the way his heart is stuttering isn't because of the setting, but you— only you.
With the way Donghyuck's question from earlier still plays in the back of his head like a broken record, Renjun knows that it's the truth.
✦ ✦ ✦
With it being late into the night, the two of you lapse into silence, too tired to keep a conversation going, but still very much awake— as though under an unspoken agreement to not fall asleep.
The rain has reduced significantly and the thunder has lessened, nothing but an occasional low rumble in the distance, but every now and then you'd still feel Renjun tensing from next to you.
“You know, statistically, you’re more likely to get struck by lightning than win the lottery,” you mumble sleepily, barely able to keep your eyes open.
Renjun lets out a soft chuckle. “Comforting,” he replies, though there’s no real edge to his voice. “So, basically, I’m doomed.”
“Not while I’m here,” you say through a yawn. “Consider me your good luck charm.”
Renjun shakes his head, but there’s a softness in his expression now, something warm and unspoken passing between you. The couch creaks slightly as you both shift to get more comfortable. Your cheek brushes slightly against his arm, but Renjun doesn't pull away. In your half-conscious state, you barely feel his arm circle behind you, pulling you closer towards him as he guides your head to rest on his shoulder.
"Then I guess I'd have to keep you around for every storm."

Click.
That's the sound you wake to, the sun that hits your eyelids being the second thing to rouse you from your slumber. You stir, your cheek brushing against something soft that only makes you want to sleep even more, but the sound of suspicious giggling causes you to open your eyes.
Your bleary vision lands on Donghyuck, who's currently standing before you with a cheshire-like grin, his phone in his hands.
"Don't you two look cozy?" He coos, tapping on his screen once more before his phone produces another click.
Finally registering what's happening, you jolt awake, only belatedly realising the oh-so-soft material to be Renjun's clothed chest. You must have fallen asleep on him sometime during the middle of the night, and you can't figure out what's more embarrassing: that, or the fact that Donghyuck has proof of said... intimacy.
"Lee Donghyuck! You better not post that!" You yelp, jumping off the couch to reach for his phone, only to fail as he waves his arm in the air, cackling manically.
Renjun finally stirs at the noise. “What’s going on?” he mumbles groggily, only to frown when he registers what you and Donghyuck are doing.
You whip to turn to Renjun, almost tripping in the process, throwing him an apologetic glance. “N-Nothing! Just- uh, a little misunderstanding!”
Donghyuck lowers his arm, tongue poking out of his lips as he types rapidly on his phone. “Oh, I’m definitely sharing this. Aw, you two are so adorable!”
Renjun groans. "Fuck off, Hyuck, seriously." He stands up, picking up his bag before stuffing all his belongings inside. "Ignore him. Let's go."
You giggle, your own embarrassment seeping away when you realise just how flustered he is. "Renjun, wait-"
"Nope, not waiting," he mutters, the tip of his ears noticeably pink as he slings his bag over his shoulder. "We're leaving before this asshole gets anymore material." He shoots Donghyuck a glare, who only waves a hand mindlessly.
"I may be an asshole, but at least I'm not delusional. Seriously, guys, it's painful watching you pretend like you're not into each other!" He cries dramatically, and Renjun's eyes widen before he forces another warning stare to his friend.
"Thanks for the unsolicited advice, Hyuck," he mutters, hoping his voice didn't waver too much, before quickly grabbing your arm and leading you to the door. "We're leaving."
"Have a good day, lovebirds!" Donghyuck sings, and Renjun flashes him a middle finger with his free hand without turning around.
You couldn't help but to laugh as you let him drag you out to the sidewalk, the cold outside air hitting your skin for the first time since yesterday. It's no longer raining, but the streets are still wet from the overnight storm, and it helps in cooling your own burning cheeks.
Renjun finally releases you when you're a little further away from the café, turning to face you with a sigh. "Sorry 'bout that," he mumbles, his cheek still painted red, and you wonder how it's possible for him to be this cute, grumpiness and all.
"It's okay." You bite your bottom lip to suppress a grin, and Renjun smiles at you weakly.
There's a moment of silence between you two before Renjun clears his throat awkwardly. "He's right, you know?"
"Hm? About what?" You ask, slightly taken aback by his sudden soft tone.
Renjun shifts his weight from one foot to the other, his voice quiet. “About… me being into you. Wait, that came out weird." He stumbles over his words, and you merely beam at him as you give him time to compose himself.
"It's just— I know I haven't been the nicest to you, and I know it may sound crazy, but I had this whole revelation yesterday that I do have feelings for you— and I promise this isn't just a fleeting thing because of the storm— I genuinely think you're really cool."
You don't say anything, only a soft smile playing on your lips, and that causes Renjun to panic.
"I mean, I know I've been a jerk to you, and I know this isn't an excuse, but I just didn't know how to-"
You cut him off by leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to his cheek, effectively halting his words. His mouth hangs open slightly, eyes wide as he stares at you in disbelief, his face flushing.
When you pull back, you couldn't help but laugh softly at his stunned expression. “You're rambling,” you tease with a playful smile.
He coughs out a small laugh. "Yeah, sorry. Guess I was." The smile stays on his face this time as he meets your eyes. "So... does that mean you're not compelled to the idea of going on a date with me?"
"Nope. Not at all." You rock between your heels and toes, already feeling the excitement bubbling in your chest. You like to think that you're doing a much better job at keeping your composure, but you're sure anyone could see just how bright red you are. "I think I'd really like that, actually."
Renjun's eyebrows raise before his expression eases into one of relief, and for the first time, a large smile graces his lips. You think you might just have a new favourite thing now— one that easily tops the rain.
"Yeah? Good. Because I think I'd really like that, too."

I’d love if you could do a very fluffy-smut with Spencer, like you had a tough case and the day after he calls asking you to go to his apartment and you see he has made food & made a fort to watch movies with fairy lights and just everything really romantic & it ending with very slow/soft sex🩵
A/N: I loved writing this one! Spencer is absolutely the type to build a perfectly engineered pillow fort just because you're having a bad day 😭😭 I hope you enjoy it!!
Warnings: 18+ minors dni, soft sex, oral sex (f receiving), slow/ gentle sex, multiple orgasms, implied creampie/ no contraception mentioned :) tee hee

There was something about the cases that took you to the other side of the country that sunk the ache into your bones just that little bit more.
It didn't matter if you were going for a kidnapping or a serial or a spree, you always returned more weary than before. The weeks work that you endured was never as tough as returning home to your empty apartment, to the cold floor and the lonely bed.
This time, your case had a happy ending. You weren't sure how many more of them you were going to be able to live through before the bad endings rendered them null and void. It didn't matter how many people you saved some days because your brain was crowded with the names and faces of the ones you didn't.
The drive home from Quantico was unsurprisingly quiet. Having landed in the dead of night, there were never going to be too many people on the roads to your apartment.
You weren't sure if it was fate, or the fact that you hadn't eaten anything in the last 18 hours that made you pull over to the side of the road to pick something up from the 24 hour drive thru, but in the end you were glad you did.
The second you pulled your car off the road, taking a breather and deciding to stretch your legs a bit before going in to order, your phone screen lit up.
“Spencer,” you answered the phone, “what's up?”
“Y/N, hey, I just got home. Listen, remember last month I was talking to you about that one indie film that I couldn't find anywhere? Well, a friend of mine from college just sent me a file entitled ‘the movie.’”
You weren't sure if it was Spencer’s enthusiasm or just the way you were always ready to drop anything to do something with him that had you giggling and nodding along. You didn't remember the discussion, let alone the movie he meant, but you liked hearing him talk about the things he was passionate about.
“So I was thinking, we're both probably not going to get much sleep anyway since we clocked out only 23 minutes ago - movie night?”
“You couldn't have called at a better time, Spencer. I'm grabbing food, text me your order and I'll see you in 15.”
-X-
The drive to Spencer’s apartment was clear, but the hum in the air was lighter than  the silence of before. By the time you pulled onto his street, your mood had already brightened significantly.
You trudged up to his apartment softly so as not to cause any complaints and sent him a text to let him know you were waiting outside.
You knew instantly that he'd received and read it - the garbled sound of the large man tripping over his feet in his attempt to rush to the door were the same every time you arrived. Stubbing his toe on some pile of books or the other was practically ritual.
“Hi,” he whispered, opening the door just a crack and giving you a bright smile.
“Hi,” you smiled back. “I bought food.”
“Perfect. That's perfect. You're… come on in. It's cold, right?” He guided you into the small entryway in his apartment and let you drop your keys with his as if they were supposed to be tangled together.
“I have a little surprise.” He said, suddenly sounding bashful as he grabbed for your hand in the dark - you hadn't realised as he'd led you in but there were no lights on in the small apartment on at all, as far as you could tell.
“What? Spencer-”
“You'll like it, I promise, you just have to trust me.” You relaxed as he wrapped an arm around your waist and tugged you with him into his living space. His hand was warm as it settled against the small on your back, and his chest was surprisingly broad and firm as you brought up your hands to steady yourself against him.
“Okay, now close your eyes.”
“The apartment is pitch black. Why am I closing my eyes?” You giggled a little, surprised that your whole body felt so light and calm now, when it had felt so terrible only half an hour before.
“Trust me,” he said, and you did. Truth be told, your eyes were already shut before the words had even left his mouth.
“Okay, you can open them now.”
He must have flipped a light switch the second you opened your eyes because your vision was blurred by the dazzling light when you did.
Blinking through the adjustment, you started making out shapes and couldn't stop the small tears that pricked the corners of your eyes.
He hadn't just invited you around for a movie night - he'd built a fort. Held up by a few chairs and piles of books, he'd managed to prop up at least three layers of blanket to surround the most comfortable looking floor you'd ever seen.
You didn't even know he owned this many pillows, but when he tugged your hand down as he began to move into the fort, you didn't need to care.
Not with his fingers gently laced with yours and the fairy lights he'd surrounded everything with, giving his skin a golden glow. You didn't need any explanation. You just needed him to hold you.
“Spencer this is beautiful,” you whispered, sound dampened by the lump in your throat that you tried to swallow, to no relief. “This must've taken so much time. How did you even-”
“PhD in Engineering. I don't get much use out of it these days, but it certainly comes in handy.”
You couldn't help the laugh that burst from you, the tears finally flowing as tears of joy.
“Spencer, what is all this for?”
“It's just because. You looked like you had a hard day, and I enjoy spending time with you.”
They weren't the most romantic words in the world. They probably didn't come close to some quotes he could recite as easily as breathing. But they hit you hard and fast.
You knew you were in love with Spencer Reid long before this moment, but there was no holding back the flood after hearing the sincerity in his voice.
You slowly stretched your neck up and pressed your lips against his. It was fleeting, a small moment that if this didn't pan out, you could brush off as a friendly show of appreciation.
You pulled away to gauge his reaction, but you didn't get to. His hand on your neck had pulled you back to him for another slow, but deep kiss, and it was as if your entire body was on fire in those sheets.
You weren't sure how long you spent breathing each other in, exploring each others lips softly. You just knew you were growing desperate for more. You didn't notice that you'd climbed into his lap until your eagerness knocked him onto his back, forcing you apart.
Your chest lay atop his as you both gasped for air, legs tangled, eyes locked as both of you feared talking first.
After almost too long without anything said or done, Spencer chose silence again, flipping your positions so you were the one on your back on the pillows as he hovered over you, lips meeting yours again.
This time, you made the conscious decision to wrap your legs up around his waist, hand tangling in his hair as you smiled and giggled against his kisses, so obliviously happy to be there with him.
“I love you,” you whispered between kisses, not even hesitating for a second to contemplate whether he felt the same.
“I love you more,” he said as if it were a competition where you both won in the end.
You became more talkative after that, responding to every touch, every kiss with praise and a confession, a moan as his fingers pushed under your shirt, a shaky breath as they unbuttoned your pants.
“Fuck, Spencer, please touch me more,” you begged as his hand toyed with your nipple, having discarded your shirt and bra quickly after receiving permission to do so.
“I will. I want to know all of you,” his voice was strong even in a whisper, as he dropped his head to your other nipple to begin suckling and teasing you.
You always thought his hair would be soft, had been tempted on multiple occasions to tuck a strand behind his ear, or just run a hand through it, and now you held it firm, pushing him further into your chest as you arched into his mouth.
“I want to feel m-more of you, Spencer.”
He raised his gaze to you as he let go of your nipple with a pop and quietly complied with your will. Trailing his head lower, he kissed across the expanse of your stomach, biting and sucking here and there to leave a path of markings in his wake before arriving right where he wanted to be.
He made quick work of your pants and panties both, surprised that a man who never failed to bump into things in his own living space could be so graceful when it came to divesting you of your clothing.
You couldn't ponder for too long as he dived between your legs, spreading you open like a book he needed to read and memorise. His to guess hit your clit quickly, and a few twitches and moans here and there showed him how you liked it, where you needed him and his tongue.
You again got to grasp his hair  pulling him further into your wet cunt as you chased your high, needing so desperately to ride out an orgasm against his face.
When his two fingers stretched you open, you practically drowned him, thighs clamping shut as your brain emptied itself of stress.
You calmed down and watched him come up for air, fingers still slowly and gently pumping inside of you, reminding you that this wasn't over.
“You taste sweet.”
“I know how much you like sweet things.” Your juices glistened on his lips and chin, a few drops running down his neck as you stared at him with pure desperation in your eyes.
“Spencer, please, fuck-” his fingers picked up speed every time you tried again.
“Spencer, fuck me, please  just fuc-”
“As you wish, Y/N.”
He didn't bother removing his own clothing, though you desperately wanted to see his entire length and explore him just as he had with you.
But after cumming on his face already, you decided you'd let him go with whatever he wanted.
Shifting up behind you as you laid there, he gently rolled your body onto its side as he pulled your back towards him, giving him better access to your cunt as you arched into him again.
He sank in slowly, almost as if he was scared to break you, but didn't stop until he was almost fully inside of you, practically sheathed.
He adjusted his hold on you, wrapping both arms around your waist and pulling your back flush against his chest as he pressed open-mouthed kisses against your neck.
With deep, slow strokes, he made love to you. You weren't sure if it was the fairy lights, or if it was just that good, but you saw stars, saw them burnt into your eyes, watched them every time the pleasure felt too good and your eyes rolled back into your head.
The second orgasm came slower than the first, but it was just as hot.
“Y/N, look at me - you're so beautiful, I want to watch you cum.”
“Spencer, love- I love you, I love you, fuck, oh my god, I love you so much.” You reached for his lips but he pressed his forehead against yours as he whispered in your ear a final time: “cum for me now.”
Your body wasn't one for taking your queues, but it responded to him as if he'd been the missing part you'd missed this entire time.
Your cunt tightened around him, milking his cock as he moaned and released seconds after you did.
You lay tangled in those blankets and pillows for hours after, and you weren't afraid or lonely anymore.

🎮A Gamers profession
Timeskip!Kenma Kozume X F!Y/n
Summary: Y/n and Kenma are a couple, also living together. While Kenma is streaming and struggling with a game, he soon admitted to need help from you, a professional game breaker.
Warnings: Nerd talk, SFW, possible grammar mistakes, cause english is not my native language.
| MASTERLIST | REQUESTS |
//----//----//----//
You love your job. It's fun, well paying and not so stressful. Kenma, your boyfriend, also likes your job, but sometimes he just wants you to stuff your face with a pillow when he's playing, especially when he's livestreaming.
You often get to know the next top game before everyone else. You get information on a game while it's still in the making and you have to play the game for endless hours before it's officiall release.
You're not designing the game or anything. No, you're here to break the game into pieces, testing limits, testing the code, testing AI. If it breaks, then the developers have more work to do. Or they simply just decide it is going to be a 'feature'. It's their choice. You just deliver the bugs to them.
So, then why does kenma want to shut you up sometimes?
Because of your job, you have developed a very good sense for game mechanics, attack patterns and the more advanced stuff on how a game is build. When Kenma encounteres a boss, he just knows you could beat it in a few minutes. He knows you could rush to an over the top overpowered boss and never get hit once, thou it would take longer to beat it.
It's when Kenma's visibly is frustrated, staring at his screen with an unhealthy posture, you then sometimes get up from your couch and take a look at what he's struggling with. As soon as you got into frame the viewers will start to spam the chat with messages about you.
Mostly just spamming your name but others will write absurd things like "mama's here to help" or "the professional is watching"
You just have to stand behind the chair and kenma starts to tell you to not say anything.
"Don't you dare tell me, I want to find it out myself" he complains and you just put up your hands "I didn't do anything, I'm just watching, but tell me if you need help"
So far he never needed help from you. He of course is an intelligent and very good gamer himself. Never have you doubted him.
___
You're currently on your own pc in a separate Office in your and Kenma's home. With a switch controller in your hands and feet up on a footrest, you happily enjoy playing some animal crossing on the bigger screen of your gaming setup.
Today's quiet cold so you're wearing a wearable blanked with a hoodie combined. It looks like a cat. On your table is a steaming hot tea, waiting to be cooled down a little. You were fishing all around the island in game to get the last fish of the museum collection, but the sporadic waves of tiredness are definitely not doing you a favour when it comes to pressing the right button at the right time. The game definitely knows how to get you so relaxed you could fall asleep right then and there in your gaming chair.
Another wave made you a little more tired than the usual waves. This time you had doze off for a few seconds before jolting back awake and continued your fishing spree. Work definitely was a bit to much with the winter holidays coming up and a lot of new games wanting to be released in early spring. Is also added up to your tiredness.
You glanced over to the time on your Pc and realised it's only 4pm, definitely to early to sleep now. You also know that Kenma was streaming for an hour now, since he always starts at 3pm.
Thou you don't learn from your mistake to play animal crossing while nearly dozing off and just continued, but rather than fishing you instead decided to continue to decorate the island.
It went well for the first hour. You made a plan and checked on the internet if there's the suitable furniture for it. The first decorations had been placed on their right spot, paths has been made but just a few minutes after the first hour, the tiredness has claimed you back.
While you were in the office relaxing every bone to a complete flat line, the person in the other office was nearly about to destroy a keyboard. The boss he was fighting was beating kenma every time to 0 HP. Kenma had stopped yesterday's stream in a near rage quit but today he had to beat it to get further in the game. He hasn't got past the boss and was getting more and more frustrated as well as confused. Sometimes he swears the boss just doesn't take damage and gets a massive attack bonus. Chat is convinced the boss wasn't beatable and was begging to kenma to bring out the game breaker, aka you.
Of course, he denied it at first but after an hour of trying and dying he finally gave up. Without a word he placed down his headphones, pushed his microphone back a little bit and walked out of the frame. His viewers were ecstatic and surprised that he'll need help from you.
As kenma was busting open the door to your office, the loud noise of the door made you jolt up from your chair. Your hair went places and the hoodie blanket went all the way up to your chin, telling kenma without a word that you were sleeping in your chair just now.
"I was definitely not sleeping" You stated in your defense with a sleep drunk voice, but Kenma did not believe you and smiled at how cuddly you looked. With a quick glance at the time you asked the streamer "Quit already? You're usually up till late at night"
Kenma placed his hands in the pocket of the black hoodie he's wearing and sighed, remembering why he's here in the first place "I think the game's bugged. I can't defeat the boss. I tried so many times" He slightly looked away, feeling a bit embarrassed about asking you.
At the word 'bugged' you stood up, placed the switch controller on the desk and walked over to him. You slipped your hands into his hoodie and took his hands in your own. "let's see what I can do"
The two of you went to his streaming room, but before you entered, the hood from your blanket hoodie went over your head to hide this atrocious mess of hair on your head. You quickly checked your appearance in the hallway mirror. As soon as the viewers got a glance at you and what you're wearing, they all typed in chat 'You're looking so cozy rn' 'where did you buy it?' 'looks so fluffy' 'I want to cuddle with you'
You waved at the camera to greed the viewers and kenma gestured you to sit down in his chair. You smiled at your boyfriend and placed your feet also on the chair, making you a cozy fluffy blanket ball.
He then quickly explained to you what he was doing and what was happening. Kenma then also pulled over another chair to sit down and watch you. You first tried your best max out attack and defence with his current equipment, but there wasn't even a slightest chance. You voiced out a small "Huh?" Before trying again.
The viewers could see on your face that something was up. You aren't a streamer and wasn't talking while playing the game and kenma knew to not disturb your concentration, but the viewers still seemed to enjoy watching you trying the best you could. It was the first time you were seriously playing a game with the intention to win and they were all very ecstatic as you tried to not get hit. One could tell how everyone was excited at this moment, the chat also was getting slower.
After half an hour, you had placed down the controller. The boss could hit the hero, because they weren't dodging anymore and the player dies in an instant. The question marks around your head were very visible. Something definitely is not right here. As soon as the game went to its pause menu, the viewers knew something serious it about to happen.
You grabbed the laptop from Kenma, booted it up, put in his password without a fail and went to the internet. The website from your work company appeared after a few clicks and at this moment Kenma realised what was happening.
He looked over to his camera and explained laughing "Guys, I apparently found a bug. Stuffs about to get serious now" The chat was then filled with suprised emojis. It didn't took 5 minutes and a donation came in.
Kenma glanced over to the donation site and read out loud "Thank you catlover51 for the..." He stopped a second as he saw the amount that was donated and was clearly surprised "Thank you for the 100$ and you had written down 'For Y/n, a little compensation gor having to work now' again thank you very much. You really didn't neet to donate so much"
As Kenma read the donation out loud you had began to smile behind the laptop sceen. Others then jumped onto the train as well and donated money from a single dollar to a little lager than 50$. Kenma was slightly overwhelmed my the sheer amount of donations that came in and couldn't stop thanking everyone, nearly shutting down the donation site so no one could waste more money on them. It was then you who calmed them down after finishing your research. You looked back to the camera and placed the laptop to the side "You don't need to pay me for this. It's my job and I love doing it. Also I get paid whenever I work, so I'm currently earning my money. But thank you for your concern" you smiled brightly at them before continuing to try out stuff in the game.
After some time nothing came out of the testing and you sighed. You glance over to your boyfriend, looking like a vet having to tell the owner some bad news. "You can't progress at this point, I'm sorry" His eyes widend "That's a joke right?" You just shook your head "Unfortunately not. You have found a very devastating bug, which stops you from killing the boss. As soon as an attack misses, the supposed damage gets stored and well... When the boss does hit you, then all of that stored damage gets released. That explains the bug with the one shot kill. This bug alone is manageable and already a known issue, but combined with the boss not taking any damage" you smiled at him with a sad face. "I'm sorry"
Kenma sighed and ruffled his hair "It's not your fault" he smiled and ruffled your hair as well. "Guess my save is busted then"
You took his hand in yours and looked him in the eyes. He squeezed your hand a little and looked back at you. There's a little spark in your eyes, telling him that there's something you could do "What are you up to?" He asked directly. Your eyes shift away, making you look innocent, scratching your cheek a little "I could force you out of the situation, by glitching you through a wall"
Usually kenma is against using glitches and exploits in his runs, but this is maybe the first occasion he'll consider it. He first looks at you with squinted eyes but then stood up "I'm going to the bathroom. Whatever you'll do, I'll don't know about it"
You're smile got bigger as he finished talking and went outside. He closed the door and after a little happy dance, you pressed onto respawn and forced the player to another part of the map. The viewers were watching your every step and were happy about you breaking a game infront of them.
As you were finished, you quickly saved the game and stood up, ready to leave.
"In my defence" you started talking into the camera a little bowed down to fit into the frame "I did not test this part of the game. Not my fault" You grabbed the open laptop and blew the viewers a goodbye kiss before you exited the streaming room.
On the way back to your own office, Kenma has finished his bathroom break. He grabbed your wrist before you could vanish into your room. He also grabbed the laptop and placed it on a sideboard. One hand of his wandered over to your waist, so he could pull you a little closer to him. "Thank you" he whisperd and gave you a little kiss on your cheek. "I'll make sure to finish today's stream a little earlier. Can't wait to cuddle you with this fluffy hoodie" he then again kissed your other cheek and headed back over to his room to see an alive character on a giant grassy field.
You on the other hand smiled and had to control your inner fangirl to not just scream and jump around. The viewers for sure could hear you if you were to loud.
You quickly grabbed Kenma's laptop and hid in your room, filling out a formula to get the new bug over to the Developers.

After cleaning up and getting into a fresh pair of clothes, all with Ofelia's help, I was able to get into a less volatile state and return to the Clarks, who were still pacing outside the medbay. When they spotted me, they paused and smiled a little, putting me at ease.
"Hey, sweetie, how're you feeling?" Madison asked.
"Better," I answered truthfully, before looking between them both. "I just want to apologise for before. I was hysterical and it wasn't appropriate. Not when your family member is in there, hurt."
"You don't need to apologise," Nick said, nudging my arm. "You're scared. We all are."
I swallowed hard, unsure what to say.
"They're almost done in there," he told me. "They're just wrapping her wounds and we can go in."
At this good news, my heart seemed to return to its normal pace for a moment. "She's okay?"
"She will be," Madison assured me. "It looked worse than it was, but you got her back in time."
I could have cried again at hearing this, but I figured they'd seen enough of my tears, so I settled for a sigh of relief.
The three of us stayed out there for a little longer, Ofelia soon joining us, before we were allowed inside to see her. It was hard for me to imagine anything other than the bloody mess I'd left her there as earlier, but when we approached her bed and saw her looking much better, cleaner and safer, I knew she was truly okay.
Madison and Nick rushed to her side instantly, taking a hand each as she was still unconscious. I felt like I was intruding as Ofelia and I stood to the side, giving them a moment. And then Madison looked up, nodding to me.
"D'you wanna see her?" she asked encouragingly, but I shook my head.
"It's okay," I politely declined, feeling incredibly awkward and also unable to look at her without feeling a sense of shame wash over me.
They didn't say anything about it, and I risked glancing at Alicia once more, my heart aching, but in a different way, when I saw her pale skin, closed eyes and still figure. I couldn't stay here, not when I knew what I'd said to her last – so I dismissed myself before giving them some space, knowing it was for the best.
Tumblr media
A few hours later, I was sat outside my cabin, fingers playing with the zip of my jacket mindlessly, when Ofelia found me.
"She's awake," she rushed out breathlessly, a smile on her lips.
I raised my eyebrows, standing up instantly. "She is? Is she– is she okay?"
Ofelia laughed, nodding. "Of course. She's asking for you, c'mon."
She was asking for me? Even after everything I'd said to her?
I nodded slowly, then quickly, then followed after Ofelia when I realised Alicia was waiting for me. It was as if a stone was lodged in my chest as I approached the medbay, walking inside and seeing Alicia's bed, surrounded by her family. When Nick and Madison saw me, they smiled with relief.
"You're here," Madison said, before looking to her son. "C'mon. Let's give them a minute."
I swallowed thickly as they left for a moment, Ofelia squeezing my hand before doing the same. Sucking up a deep breath, I approached Alicia's bedside, eyes falling to the conscious Clark girl as she looked up at me, eyes tired but alive.
"Hey," she started when I didn't, her voice raspy and quiet.
Naturally, my eyes took in the state of her, double checking to make sure she was truly okay. The colour had returned to her cheeks and she seemed pain-free, probably because of the meds running through her IV, and her body was covered by a blanket, so I couldn't see her bandaged wound. Still, she looked pretty weak and it left me with a horrible taste in my mouth, knowing it was because of me.
"You weren't here," she continued, taking a slow breath. "They said you left."
I opened my mouth, "I–", but stopped when my voice broke, taking a second to collect myself. For God's sake, why couldn't I keep it together?
"It's not as bad as it looks," she tried to reassure me, glancing down at her body, before offering me a small smile.
I blinked my tears back, shaking my head. "Isn't it?"
Her smile faded, green eyes boring through mine cluelessly, and I began to frown guiltily.
"You wouldn't have gotten hurt if we hadn't argued," I told her regretfully, "if I hadn't said what I did."
"Y/N, you couldn't have known it was booby trapped," she said, before reaching out her hand towards me.
I grabbed it, squeezing it gently, but I still felt horrible. "But we could have gone together if I hadn't pushed you away."
Embarrassed yet again, I turned my head and forcefully wiped my tears away, the thought of almost losing her reigniting them.
"It's okay," she tried to reassure me, tugging my hand with what little strength she had.
"It's not," I muttered, voice thick with emotion. "I'm so sorry, Alicia."
"Don't be," she said sternly, tugging my hand harder, forcing me to look down at her and see the determination in her eyes. "You brought me here when I could've died. You saved me. I should be thanking you."
I clenched my jaw, trying to stop the trembling, and let go of her hand. She began to frown, eyes flickering between mine.
"Don't push yourself away again, please," she begged, eyes becoming glossy. "You might not need me, but I need you."
My heart ached as she stared at me, refusing to look away, her heart on her sleeve. I'd almost lost her, just as I'd feared, and it hadn't mattered whether I was with her or not. Losing people was impossible to prevent and it could happen, just like that. It almost had with Alicia, and I could've lost her having acted so horribly towards her. God, I was a fool.
"When my mum died, it happened so unexpectedly," I suddenly said, knowing I was making no sense, but everything was coming out all at once. "I wasn't prepared, and it's the hardest thing I've ever had to go through."
"I'm sorry," she said considerately.
I shrugged. "You don't need to be. It happened randomly. Just like losing people in our tribe did. Death doesn't have a warning label, and I stupidly thought I could push people away so I'd never have to feel loss again."
I closed my eyes, pausing as I tried to collect myself, not wanting to cry again. And then Alicia's hand slipped into mind, and I opened my eyes, holding tightly as I met her green, attentive stare.
"My dad, he won't talk about it, but he does the same. It's why he struggles to trust people," I continued. "As much as I hate that about him, I take after him. And I don't want to anymore... I'm tired of being alone. I... I don't want to push people away anymore."
"You don't have to," she said with certainty.
"I know," I murmured. "Because almost losing you today only reminded me that it could happen any time, anywhere, no matter the circumstances. And I just– I don't want to ever lose you, not like this, not after all the horrible stuff I said to you."
She looked between my eyes, searching. "What are you saying?"
I took her hand between both of mine. "I'm saying that I need you, too. And I'm so fucking sorry. And, if you forgive me, I'd love to have a second chance. One that I won't screw up."
My heart was hammering so loudly in my chest that I wouldn't have been surprised if she could hear it in the silence that followed. Her hand between mine made my skin go numb, and the longer she said nothing, the more anxious I grew. Had I fucked it?
"Of course, you idiot," she finally muttered, before smiling weakly.
I exhaled deeply, feeling a weight off my chest, and then she pulled me down and wrapped her arms around my neck the best she could, hugging me. I tucked my head into her neck as I tried my best to return her hug, despite her laying down, and my guilt was somewhat shrinking.
"I know I'm not good at talking about how I feel," I said to her, pulling away but cupping her cheek, hovering above her as I held my weight up with my other hand. "I'm going to try to be better, I promise."
She closed her eyes, hand behind my neck and pulling me closer so our foreheads were touching. "I know. I appreciate it, Y/N."
I revelled in the moment for a few seconds longer before pulling back, smiling down at her. "You should rest."
"I will," she promised. "You'll stay this time, right?"
I squeezed her hand in response. "I'm not leaving."
Her lips curved into a tired smile, eyes watching me and making me nervous, before closing contently.
Tumblr media
As promised, I kept Alicia company for as much as I could during her recovery. Over the next few days, when her family weren't sat with her, I'd stay by her side and try to take her mind off things.
One lunchtime, I was making her a tray of food to bring back to the medbay when my father bumped into me on the way back to her.
"Hey," he said with a smile. "What're you up to?"
I lifted the tray in my hand slightly. "Just getting some lunch for Alicia."
He nodded, eyebrows raising. "Ah, yes, of course. Y'know, it's nice to see that you've both resolved whatever argument you were having. It was starting to get weird, watching you ignore each other."
I smiled a little. "Yeah... it was my fault, but we've sorted everything out now."
"Well, you've been spending basically every waking moment with her since she got hurt, so you'd find the time, wouldn't you?" he joked, but it still made my face heat up with embarrassment.
"I just want her to be okay, dad," I tried to say dismissively, but it wasn't very believable.
He nodded, humming in agreement, eyes looking out ahead. I assumed the conversation had ended there, until he looked back to me casually.
"You like her, don't you?" he asked.
I blinked, trying not to choke on my own spit. "I'm sorry?"
An amused smile appeared on his face as he gave me a knowing look. "Y/N, dear, I'm not blind. I know my own daughter. You care for Alicia, in a way more than a friend does."
If I wasn't warm before, I certainly was now, especially the longer he stared at me, awaiting confirmation. But I was too cornered to speak. It's not that Alicia and I were hiding it, but there was nothing to share just yet, with everything being so new. I hadn't even had chance to prepare an answer.
"it's okay," he assured me, noticing I wouldn't speak. "I won't say anything to Madison. But she's not blind either."
Swallowing hard, I finally looked up at him. "Is it wrong of me to like her?"
He shook his head. "Not at all. Alicia's a good girl. And she seems to care about you a lot. And as far as I'm concerned, that's all that matters."
I wasn't sure what I was expecting him to say, but that seemed good enough as I began to smile with relief, glad he approved. He pulled me in for a side hug, wary of the tray in my hand, before squeezing my shoulders gently.
"You should head back or she'll be wondering why you're taking so long," he said lightheartedly. "After all, you've breathed the same air for the past forty-eight hours."
"Dad," I whined, embarrassed yet again.
He laughed before leaving me to it, and only after I was sure I wasn't bright red in the face did I head back to Alicia. When she spotted me, she gave me a smile, already sat up.
"Here you go," I said, returning her smile and setting the tray on her lap.
She looked down at it, grabbing her fork. "Ooh, it looks great, thanks, Y/N."
I took a seat on the chair beside her bed, quiet as she dug in. My eyes drifted to the bed as I zoned out momentarily, thinking about my exchange with my dad earlier.
"You okay?" Alicia asked, pulling me from my thoughts.
I looked up, meeting her eyes. "Oh, yeah. I... just thinking."
She quirked a brow, amused. "About?"
I leaned back into my seat. "My dad knows about us both."
She paused, fork lowering to her plate. "What?"
"He just said it then. I'm not sure how he knows, he claims he's not blind, but yeah. And he thinks maybe your mum knows too."
She was surprised, but nodded. "Oh."
I hummed, looking away awkwardly. We hadn't talked about telling anyone, so I wasn't sure what she was thinking.
"Is that a bad thing?"
I glanced at her, raising my brows. "What?"
She nodded slowly, looking at her plate. "If they know that we both... that we're more than friends. Is that a bad thing?"
"Of course it isn't," I said, surprised at her reaction, though I wasn't sure what to expect. "I just– I wasn't sure if you wanted them to know."
"I don't mind," she admitted, before smiling a little. "If my mum brings it up like your dad did, then great, otherwise I'll tell her soon."
I nodded in agreement, hiding my smile. "Okay. Sounds, er, sounds good."
She nodded too, stifling her own smile as she returned her attention to her food.
Tumblr media
"Okay, pick another letter," Alicia said, pen to the scrap of paper as she waited. "And not 'a', 'e' or 'u'."
"So almost all the vowels aren't in the word," I said with impatience. "Seriously, what word did you pick?"
She laughed, saying nothing as she waited for me to choose again. We were playing hangman and I was losing terribly, but it didn't matter so much because it was keeping Alicia's mind off her injury.
Before I could think of another letter to guess, the sound of someone approaching made us both look up and we saw Nick walking towards us, probably to spend some time with his sister.
"Ladies," he nodded towards us, settling on a chair on the other side of Alicia's bed.
"Hey," we greeted him in unison, and I was about to ask if he wanted to play with us before he spoke up again.
"So, you guys are dating now, right?"
I widened my eyes slightly, as Alicia looked just as surprised, neither of us expecting his bluntness.
"What?" she asked him.
"Mum mentioned it," he explained.
Alicia cursed quietly, whilst I wasn't sure how to respond. I knew she'd told Madison yesterday, but not Nick. Not that it was a secret, but we didn't know he knew.
"Relax," he said, laughing. "I'm just teasing you. Thought it would be funny to see your faces, and right now, they're hilarious."
Alicia and I exchanged embarrassed glances, her cheeks dusting pink, before looking back to Nick.
"For the record, I called it," he added with a knowing look.
Alicia rolled her eyes playfully. "Not funny, Nick. But at least you know."
I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks yet again, especially when he began to laugh, glancing between us both. At least everyone important to us knew now.
Tumblr media
It was almost two weeks later when Alicia was growing antsy in the medbay, adamant on getting up and stretching her legs. Of course, she was still wounded and couldn't do just that, but we'd managed to source her some crutches to let her enjoy at least a little bit of time outside.
"Okay, carefully now," I told her as she swung her legs off the side of the bed. "No rush, Alicia, okay?"
"I know, sorry, I'm just excited to get out of here," she admitted, before gently pushing herself off the bed and into a standing position.
I stood before her, ready to catch her in case she fell. Once she straightened up, she toppled forward slightly and I was luckily able to stop her from going anywhere, my concern taking over.
"Careful," I repeated nervously, not wanting her to aggravate her injury. "You okay?"
She nodded, squeezing my arm reassuringly before accepting the crutches I handed to her.
"Harder than I thought, sorry," she mumbled, before settling her weight on the crutches.
"Maybe there's a wheelchair or something we can find," I tried to help, "if you're not up for walking just yet."
She smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. "C'mon, I'm not completely useless, am I?"
I rested a hand on her forearm comfortingly. "I didn't say that."
She sighed, before shaking her head. "I'm okay. Just want some fresh air."
"Okay," I agreed, before taking a step back. "Whenever you're ready, Alicia."
We took a stroll out of the medbay and around the ranch, giving her time to get used to walking with the assistance of crutches and also letting her enjoy the fresh air and change of scenery. A lot of the ranchers were happy to see her, having befriended her in the past, and shared some conversations with her before making sure I promised to take care of her. It was sweet, and it especially made my day to see Alicia looking a lot happier than she had these past few days.
"You've gotta show me the garden now," she said after another rancher greeted us. "I've gotta see how ruined it is since you've been slacking on your duties."
I couldn't help but crack a smile at her joke. "Last time I checked, I was slacking to keep you company in the medbay."
She laughed, before leading the way to the garden.
"Ofelia has been keeping an eye on it," I assured her, before we stopped in the field where the section Alicia and I managed was. "See? Just like it should be."
"Mhm," Alicia hummed, before shooting me a smile. "I suppose it's looking good."
I rolled my eyes playfully before tugging her towards a nearby bench. "C'mon, you need a break."
"Sorry, mum."
I refrained from glaring at her as we both sat down, and I chose not to comment on the relieved sigh she let out when she had a minute to relax. An 'I told you so' would have felt good though.
"How're you feeling?" I asked instead, resting a hand on her knee.
She grabbed it instead, holding it as she spoke. "Not in any pain, if that's what you're worried about. The fresh air is nice. So is spending some time with you."
I tried not to laugh as I raised an eyebrow her way. "What, like the past week hasn't been enough?"
With a deadpan expression, she shook her head. "It hasn't."
I didn't know what to say, sensing half of her teasing self was being serious. Instead, I looked the other way, feeling my cheeks heat up as she smiled, still watching me.
Thankfully, she changed the subject and we both sat there for a little while longer, talking about the garden and the ranch and anything else she wanted to. It was funny how, even though we'd spent the past two weeks keeping each other company, I still had so much to talk to her about. She was the best company to be around.
Eventually though, I checked my watch before realising we'd been out for too long.
"Your next dose of meds is due soon," I said regretfully, not wanting to leave. "We should head back."
Judging by her quiet groan, she didn't want to leave either, but she nodded and straightened up, stretching her arms.
"Back to the medbay we go," she said, yawning.
I stood up before stepping before her to help her up too. I didn't anticipate how close she would be stood to me though, and when she smiled softly, I grew very, very distracted by her lips.
"Y/N," she muttered with amusement, making my eyes flicker to hers briefly. "The crutches?"
I nodded, eyes falling back down to her lips. "Yeah..."
She laughed when I didn't move, but I couldn't help it. Her lips were pink, soft-looking and enticing, and all I wanted to was lean forward and kiss her. I hadn't found the courage to kiss her properly, not since the last kiss we shared when I ran away afterwards. She'd forgiven me for it, sure, but I didn't want to push my luck and rush things between us. It had only been two weeks since we'd started up a relationship.
Swallowing hard, I stepped back and tried to snap out of it, instead grabbing her crutches that were leaning against the bench. As I was about to hand them back to her, she called my name, making me look up. I didn't get chance to think as she suddenly pressed her lips to mine, hands cupping my neck and pulling me close.
I closed my eyes in a second, melting into her touch and her lips and wrapping my own arms around her waist, refusing to let go. It was amazing how perfect she seemed to fit against me, and how I didn't want it any other way.
My lips were numb when we finally pulled apart for air, and when I opened my eyes, I was submerged in pools of green.
"You think too much," she said quietly, a soft smile on her face.
I swallowed hard. "I know."
Her hands were still around the back of my neck, fingers moving and sending shivers down my spine. "Sometimes, it's okay not to."
I exhaled gently, smiling a little. "If only it were that easy."
She let out a sharp breath from her nose, trying not to laugh. "You'll get there," she promised, before kissing me again, though this time much slower and softer than before.

I keep recalling things we never did
zsxrdcfvgbh it's atsushi's birthday!! he's so precious I need to shove him into a locket full of love and tell him how much people care about him. how can you hate him?? I introduce to you all how this man would act while smitten :)
just a note: anyone who reads my works should just know that I will probably swear even though I try to edit out a lot of it.
Tumblr media
he is stuttering over every single word after gaining the confidence to talk to you. he is rushing out of every conversation and then wishing he was talking with you. he will find you in a crowd just to avoid you. the agency would just laugh a little and then tell him 'maybe next time'. you would have to be the most oblivious person in the world not to notice (mecore I'm a dumbass). he is forgetting about his entire schedule and everyone else the moment you ask for something. when you realise this, you ask for favours less because it does more harm than good in the long run, but he feels guilty when he doesn't help you enough. it's a lose-lose until you two start to actually communicate, though it's mostly his fault and he knows that and he feels horrible about that. so he goes to you and you soothe him and then he feels even worse because he just took time away from you and he thinks it would have been much better spent with someone else. when it's all done, you know just the things to say to help him, though. he is failing to pull of all the most romantic tricks in the book. he buys flowers but is too scared to give them to you face-to-face so he leaves them on your desk and runs to the bathroom when you find them so you don't confront him about it if you go asking around about who got you them. everyone knows that he would crumble right then and there. he would bleed his wallet dry buying your favourite snacks and hiding them in your desk's drawers on days when you seem to have it rough <33 he would be soft to you but would defend you with any amount of violence. he can't even stand when someone insults you and will get into heated arguments when someone tries to dirty your lovely name. he has a hard time staying calm if you have the slightest injury. you both know he would take care of you if you're ever sick and vice versa. he's no baby, but he would be anything for you.
I actually made something ahead of time and it was ready for when it needed to be posted!! I finally didn't do something last minute and I didn't procrastinate at all :)
not entirely proofread. actually not at all but I kinda edited as I went along, if that counts.
I just want to thank all my friends on tumblr, you make me feel so loved and wanted and you're the reason I don't feel so lonely anymore.

Nanami Kento ☆ You missed
Tumblr media
Nanami x Fem!Gojo!Reader
Genre: ☁️
Word Count: 1987
Trigger warnings⚠️: none, other than swearing
synopsis: in which you have a crush on nanami and gojo is always on your back about it....
a/n: hey loves, in this fanfic you are Gojo's sister and 2 years younger. You don't have six eyes or limitless though. xx
Second person POV
"Ha! +4, take those 4 fucking cards bitch."
You and Gojo had finished a mission and were busy playing uno in the staff room over who could have the last strawberry mochi in the fridge because of course as the Gojo siblings you couldn't do anything maturely.
"Aww Y/N that's a shame because...your gonna have to take 8 cards!" Gojo slammed down another +4, leaving you dumbfounded.
Just as you were about to attack Gojo the door unlocked to the finest man alive: Nanami.
You had had a crush on Nanami for ages and it was pretty obvious because your brother noticed the day you met him. You were a year younger than Nanami so funnily enough you happened to be around him a lot. After you finished school you joined him at his job and you became closer since then also doing a handful of missions together.
"Nanami!! Fancy seeing you hear" You exclaimed jumping up pretending you weren't about to beat your brother up.
"Y/N...Satoru..." Nanami nodded as a greeting whilst saying your name.
He loosened his tie and run his hand through his hair as he let out a deep and long sigh before sitting on the chair from exhaustion.
You were entranced at the sight in front of you that you didn't notice Gojo shoving you into the seat next to him...too close for comfort.
"Hey...you okay?" your heart fluttered as Nanami showed you concern despite you being a grade 1 curse user, so a slight push is nothing.
"I'm alright, Nanami it's just someone I'm unfortunately related to is being annoying as usual."
You shot Gojo a death glare. All he did was give you a grin saying 'You gotta start making moves, dummy' so you shot him a look saying 'Not like this you asshole'
Whilst you were stunned and trying to communicate with Gojo with your eyes you didn't notice the little to no gap between you and Nanami and the deafening silence in the air.
Once you realised you shot up, "Uhhh I forgot that I am meant to be having a girls night with uhh Maki and Nobara and Utahime and maybe Mei Mei? Oh and Ieiri of course..." you kept on spouting nonsense before sprinting out bumping into Principal Yaga on the way.
"Umm Satoru...Is your sister alright?" Nanami was genuinely concerned as what just went down was extremely confusing.
"Yeahhh she's just flustered by your hotness!" Gojo jumped up and down making sure to try his best to impersonate your energy.
"Satoru is it possible for you to not be an idiot for one day...?" Nanami rolled his eyes despite feeling some warmth in his heart.
Time Skip
It was the next day and you rolled out of bed feeling sluggish and most definitely NOT wanting to go to work.
You turned on your phone to see you were 30 minutes past you usual getting up time.
Along with that you saw 10 missed calls from Nanami forgetting that he usually picks you up.
"SHIT...GOJO YOU ASSHOLE DID YOU NOT BOTHER TO WAKE ME UP" you screamed at Gojo who was downstairs getting ready for work too but the sorcerer kind.
"Y/N I tried to wake you up, Nanami waited 10 minutes for you...I told him that you would take a while so he might as well go..."
"ARGHHH GOJO WHAT THE FUCK YOUR RUINING MY CHANCES WITH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE SOME BROTHER YOU ARE-"
You were agitated and rushed. You snatched the box of food on the counter without asking who's it was and rushed out the house.
You ended up taking a bus and whilst on the bus you saw the box was noted to you from Nanami and it had your favourite baked goods and you blushed and smiled to youself thinking of how thoughtful Nanami was.
You also saw a new movie out in cinemas and thought it was your perfect opportunity to ask Nanami to go out with you.
Once you arrived at work, you made it your mission to go to Nanami. You tried walking as fast as you could in your stilettos without tripping embarrassingly.
"Nanamiiii!!!" you shouted as you made you way over to his desk.
He looked up smiling slightly at the sight of you walking over looking ever so jovial and cutesy.
"Y/N, did you enjoy the breakfast I made for you?" he asked diverting all his attention to you.
"Ohhhh it was AMAZING, thank you so much!! You know me too well Kento Nanami~" you chuckled as you sat on his desk and crossed you leg over another looking hella sexy in your business attire.
"Sooo Nanami....there's this movie that's come out and I would really love if you could watch it with me tomorrow..." you asked Nanami making sure to bat your eyes.
"Of course Y/N, that would be lovely." Nanami smiled sweetly at you as it felt like you were in your own world forgetting all the other working citizens.
"REALLY!! THIS IS AMAZING I CAN'T WAIT!!" you got a bit overcome with excitement and gave Nanami a tight hug that he returned after a moment of shock.
"Hey lovebirds! I don't care whatever mood yer in, but I can't have ya frolicking around during working hours, please take this to yer home, yer distracting my workers." Your boss suddenly came from nowhere as you released Nanami.
"Uhhh s-sorry sir but we aren't-" you started feeling the need to explain the misconception
"Sorry sir, it won't happen again." Nanami quickly butt in not denying a word the boss said.
Your face turned bright red as you got up from Nanami's desk, patting his head before waving a sweet goodbye.
Time Skip
It's the morning of your date with Nanami, and you're feeling exhilarated.
You wore your favourite outfit and did your makeup and hair(if you have some).
"Satoru, do I look good?" you asked, twirling around.
"Looking good, sis! You sure are my sister. You're looking even better than me!" you laughed at your brothers comment
Just as you were about to reply, the doorbell rang.
You hurriedly asked Gojo to open the door as you went to get your shits and Nanami's present.
Nanami POV
I rang the doorbell expecting to be met with the beautiful Y/N Gojo. However, to my dismay, I was met with a different Gojo....
"Heyyy Nanami! You're taking my sister out for a date, huh?" Gojo said as he leaned against the door with his arms crossed.
"Yes, I am. Where is she?" I tried to glance to see where she was, but there was no sign of her.
"Ah she's getting her stuff together....before she comes down...on a serious note Nanami, I know your responsible and not the type to hurt others but I'm still gonna say...hurt her in anyway and you are dead."
This was one of the very few times I saw Gojo serious, and to be honest, it was quite heartwarming how he cared for his sister.
"Nanami!! Sorry to keep you waiting! Let's go."
Second person POV
You hurriedly gave Gojo a hug goodbye. "Bye, Satoru!" And of course, he whispered in your ear. "Have fun, sis, use protection ;)" You whacked his arm as you went outside with Nanami, shutting the door behind you.
"You look beautiful, Y/N." Nanami looked at you up and down, admiring your beauty.
"You look ever so handsome, Nanami," you said, blushing and looking down.
"OH, I forgot!!" You gave Nanami a tight hug, struggling to fully wrap your arms around him because of how much bigger and taller he was than you.
He chuckled and wrapped his arms around you tightly and you stayed there for a while before walking hand in hand to the cinema.
You got to the cinema amd sat down in your seats with popcorn and drinks.
As the movie started you really wanted to make a move but alas something within you was too scared to make a move but as if Nanami read your mind he moved your head so it laid on his shoulder and he rested his head on top of yours. He intertwined your fingers as you blushed and smiled.
Once the movie was finished, yet again hand in hand, you both walked out.
"THAT MOVIE WAS AWESOME!! I LOVED IT!" you laughed feeling so happy and contented. Not only was it a good film you watched it with the love of your life.
"Yes it was very interesting, I must say. I'm very glad I watched it with you," Nanami looked at you deeply in the eyes and you looked back at him lovingly before you remembered his present.
"Oh! Nanami! I forgot, I got you a small present it isn't much but I hope you like it..." you gave Nanami the box with his present inside and when he opened it, it revealed a vintage but fancy watch that you knew he wanted for a while.
"Y/N...this is amazing, thank you so much your so kind." he pulled you into a hug rubbing your back with care and love before he pulled away.
"I have something for you too. I really hope you like it, although it isn't much."
You opened the present to see a charm bracelet of your favourite sweets and felt your heartbeat quicken.
"NANAMI THIS IS SO CUTE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!" you didn't even realise what you had said leaving Nanami dumbfounded as you pecked his cheek whilst blushing heavily and looking down from embarrassment.
"You missed." Nanami muttered.
"Huh?" before you could say anything Nanami kissed your lips tenderly savouring the sweet taste of your lips as you returned the kiss deepening it.
"I love you too Y/N" he hugged you once more before you made your way back home he dropped you off at your house
"Y/N this was an amazing date and I know it may be early but would you be my girlfriend, I promise I will-"
Before he could finish, you shut him up with a kiss to his lips to answer his question.
"Yes I would love to." you smiled at each other before pecking each other one last time before you entered a house; now a taken woman.
You walked in seeing Gojo on the couch and he stood up awaiting you feedback.
"Left the house a sad single woman...now I have arrived taken!!" Gojo laughed loudly before running to you scoop you up in a hug weirdly he was as happy as you were
"I knew Nanami couldn't resist my little sisters adorable face." Gojo squidged you face as you squirmed and joked around for the rest of the night feeling happy and content that you finally got with the love of your life.
A lil extra cause why not!:
You and Nanami had come back from a mission hand in hand making your way to the staffroom. It was 1am in the morning and you weren't expecting anyone to be there. You opened the door to see Gojo telling everyone about your new relationship.
"And guess what guys? They kissed!! I saw it all!! I was honestly so happy for my little sis we all know how much she's been thirst-"
"GOJO!!!!"
let's just say Gojo had to take a few days off for 'illness'....
a/n: second onshot...I know its pretty long but I really hope you enjoyed it and love you all!!! 💗💗🌸🌸

Oooh, accidental kidnapping I loved 🤩
“They hurt you, despite knowing what I would do.”
⁸⁾ “i can’t keep putting you in danger! being with me isn’t worth your life- you must realise that!”
Thank you for bringing this back anon 😂
Max was shaking.
He hadn't stopped shaking or moving since he had gotten the text from Lando's phone. It hadn't been from Lando. It had just been a picture of Lando's bruised face, and a simple message;
"Your move Verstappen"
Rushing to Lando's house had turned up nothing but a distressed Beans. The german shepard had been whining, a bit of blood on his muzzle from possibly attacking someone and Max had known just by him that Lando was gone. There was no way Lando would leave Beans alone for more than a few minutes, and that was only when he biked to the shop.
He'd never leave Beans behind like this, especially not when Max had noticed the dog limping a little.
Beans had come home with him, and hadn't left his side since. The dog was loyal to Lando and loved Max. He stayed close, whining occasionally when Max got too far from him as if he was afraid to lose him too.
He had been trying to not think of Lando as lost because they were going to get him back.
They were.
Everyone had been searching for Lando. They'd destroyed others territory looking for him. They'd pulled in allies from Lewis's crew. The older Brit had taken a liking to Lando at a dinner Max had taken him too, and they were so close.
So close that Max had actually felt sick with relief when the call had finally come in twenty minutes ago that Jenson had found Lando.
Now he was pacing and shaking. Beans was watching him, ears back a little and it made Max pause. He crouched in front of the dog, patting him to try soothe the both of them.
"He'll be okay" Max promised despite knowing that this could be the last time he ever saw Lando.
He wouldn't blame the other if he wanted nothing to do with Max after this. Knowing what Max did was one thing, but getting pulled into was another. He'd been thinking about it for the last few days since the text. There was a real chance that Lando wouldn't want anything to do with him and Max was prepared for that, as the door opened.
Nothing could have prepared Max for the rage that filled him at the sight of his boyfriends battered face.
"I'm okay", Lando said immediately, a lisp to his voice from the stitches in his lip. His face still a little swollen, a patch work of bruises and cuts.
There were cuff marks on his wrists. Raw and red. Max felt sick with rage.
"I'll kill them", Max whispered, almost choking on the words, "They hurt you, despite knowing what I would do"
Lando gave him a small smile as Max stood up. He didn't hesitate to cup Max's face in a bandaged hand, and Max leaned into the touch.
"I'm right here, my love", Lando reassured him, "I'll heal"
Beans let out a soft bark in protest and Max agreed.
The bruises would fade, but would the trauma?
He couldn't help but think of all the almosts. All the times that Lando almost saw something or ended up in the crossfire had Max closing his eyes, afraid of what would come next.
"I keep putting you in danger" Max whispered, "Being with me isn't worth your life"
Lando scoffed in front of him.
"No you dont. I am an adult Max, aside from forgetting my inhaler once or twice, I've kept myself alive this long"
Max let out a soft, broken laugh because that was something he had been terrified of. It would have been so easy for Lando to have an attack, for no one to know how to help him and that he'd be gone before Max ever got him back.
It terrified him.
"You must realise that-", Max started but was cut off by a bruising kiss that he was sure who ever stitched Lando's lip would disapprove of.
"I realise that things happen, and that you will never stop looking for me", Lando whispered against his lips, arms wrapping around Max and pulling h him close, "I realise you love me and I love you and that's all that matters, okay?"
Lando loved him.
The words shouldn't make Max melt but they did. He'd never get tired of hearing those words.
"Okay", Max choked out, hand coming up to burry in messy and greasy curls, craddlig Lando close as Beans pressed against their legs, "I love you. I've got you. That's all that matters"

New chapter 🚨
A Party
"Well I'll be here when you get back, so we can shop for the gala then." I said, waving Nat goodbye as her, Sam and Steve got onto the jet for their mission.
"I mean I wouldn't think you'd be anywhere else as someone else's room is out of order." She whispered, still teasing me after I told her about the recent cockblocking incidents.
"Yeah yeah laugh it up." I grumble.
She had a giggle before she closed the jet door and left me and Bucky standing on the roof seeing them off. We hadn't gotten back to our physical relationship yet as every time things start getting heated something kills the mood.
I could kill Loki who was the latest interruption. We were at the point of no return when he burst out of the elevator claiming to have news on the attack. Said news was a dead end so really it only helped frustrate Bucky and I even more. He had slept in my room last night and set himself up on the floor. After a bit of arguing I joined him as I felt like a bad guest.
"So this gala, am I the only one who didn't know it was happening?" I asked, Bucky turned to me confused.
"I didn't know you were going on that mission." He states.
"I wasn't told it was a mission, just that there was a gala and I needed a dress. Hang on, come to think of it Nat never said she needed a dress or had to be there." I realised.
"They haven't debriefed you yet then, don't worry I've got the report on my phone in our-your room." He stammered, he looked at me innocently.
"So I guess we should go back to OUR room then? Figure this stuff out and then I can show you some more witch stuff." I said, winking at him to let him know I heard him slip up.
"I guess so." He beamed, grabbing my hand and pulling me to the stairwell with him.
I giggled to myself as I appreciated this version of him. I saw glimpses of Hydra but never this kind, he was so sweet when we were excited. He had told me last night when we returned to my room after dinner that he always wanted to see me in action. But he never wanted to make me uncomfortable. Last night we weren't really in the mood for anything more than each other's warm embrace, we were too cautious about a potential reoccurrence of the attack. Not wanting to be caught with our pants down, literally.
Once we arrived in my room he pushed the door open to reveal Loki, Thor and Wanda on my couch arguing. Their heads all turned to me in the doorway, Loki looking concerned, Thor furious and Wanda had an accusing smirk. I had a million thoughts running through my head, but Bucky's hand in mine was a calming reminder that he was there for me. Loki rushed over to us and pulled us inside before closing the door and putting a barrier spell in place, so no one could see or hear us, not even the cameras.
"We've been caught." Loki whispered to me in Jotun language.
"What happened?" I asked, in the same language, everyone looked on in confusion.
"I went and saw mother, she knows you're alive and well but understands that distance is best to know. When I came back home the witch had read my mind before I had a chance to put my wards up, she asked me if it was true and alerted Thor about what she had seen. But only those in this room know about you. I made sure of that by bringing them in here to explain." Loki explained.
I sighed to myself, sitting on the floor to take a second to gather my thoughts before I approached them. Bucky understood what I was doing and let go of my hand telling the others to give me a second, this was a sign that a panic attack was imminent but if I took the time to calm down I could be ok. After five minutes I stood up and recomposed myself before speaking.
"So you know then." I stated.
"Is it true?" Wanda asked, using her magic to silence Thor.
"Yes it's all true, assuming he told you everything." I said motioning to Loki.
"He explained to us about your parentage and why you're here, Thor is a little irrational right now because he thinks you are a threat but as I said to him before if you wanted to kill us you would've done so as we slept." Wanda rationalised, unmuting Thor.
"She has a fair point, I shouldn't have judged you so quickly sister. At least you aren't like Hela." Thor shared.
"Hela, you've met her?" I asked.
"How do you-nevermind I recall Loki saying you were taken in by mother before Loki or I were born. Yes we fought her and unfortunately she is gone." He says.
"I wouldn't be so sure about her being gone gone but that's something we can come back to if we need to. I missed you brother." I said.
"Look I know at the end that I was also on my Father's side but I've since matured and come to realise that his fear of this prophecy is for nothing. Yes I did some of my own research after Aspyn left, Loki. I contacted Hades and he said that your prophecy isn't set or completed and that rising to your full potential could be the best thing for the Gods." Thor explained, glaring at Loki for thinking he was completely one sided.
"So can I trust you both to keep this to yourselves until I'm ready to tell the rest of the team?" I pressed.
"Of course you are my sister first and foremost!" Thor exclaimed.
"Wanda?" I tentatively asked, as she had been awfully quiet.
"On one condition..." She began. "Show me everything you know about your heritage as I think that might help me find out more about my powers."
"More than happily, Wands. I would've offered anyway as I'm showing Bucky what I can do with my abilities and past. I may even be able to show you a few new tricks along the way." I suggest.
We continued talking for about half an hour before Tony called Wanda asking for her to get her brother before he starts trouble in the tower. Loki had offered to go with her but she said Tony asked Bucky to go with her as they were also getting Peter from school and he loved Bucky. Apparently Tony had decided to throw a last minute party to announce my arrival to the public and everyone was going to be there, including the other Avengers I had yet to meet. So they both left Loki, Thor and myself to reminisce about our shared childhood, or at least parts that we could recall, Loki told me he was also joining Steve's baseball team. I'm really excited about this but I still think the teams are slightly unfair and that we have the better players, I guess we will find out in a month or two.
"Have you got anything to wear to this party?" I asked them both.
They both looked at me then at each other and began laughing hysterically, I have no idea what's so funny about me asking this question but each to their own I guess.
"I'm surprised you don't know." Thor says.
"What the hell is this supposed to mean!" I exclaimed.
"Have you not looked in your wardrobe yet?" Loki asked.
"No, I haven't gotten around to unpacking all my clothes yet, especially since I can just conjure a new outfit everyday. There's really no point." I shared.
"Darling everyone is fully stocked with clothes, shoes and accessories. Even formal attire for events." Loki states.
"Oh well I guess I never really looked." I replied, shrugging my shoulders at the simplicity of the situation.
"How about I leave you two to organise an outfit and I'll go get us some coffee and lunch." Thor offers.
"Yeah, just like old times where Loki wanted to play dress up and you would do who knows what." I recall.
I sent Bucky a text letting him know what was happening and he suggested I invite Wanda and Nat to get ready with me so we could have some girl time. I loved his thought process sometimes. I agreed and he let Wanda know so she quickly got them as well as Peter and Pietro back to the compound as soon as she could. Thor had come back with lunch not long after everything was organised and we all sat down and enjoyed what Thor called pop tarts and some croissants. Loki was ultimately defeated after his quest to find me the perfect dress, he spent most of lunch complaining between mouthfuls about Tony's horrid taste in women's clothing. I felt my phone vibrate and I looked to see that Nat had replied and said as much as she would've loved to have had a girls and Loki bonding session, she was stuck on this mission and was predicting to be home just after the party starts. That's a shame as I really do like her and I would have loved the opportunity to ask her more about her Sister Yelena that she speaks so fondly of.
Time Skip
The party had started about an hour ago but we had decided to wait for Nat so we could all help her get ready with our magic, so then she wouldn't have to miss out entirely. I was on hair duties and used my magic to pull and thread her hair into waterfall braids, Loki was on dress duty and was currently changing the colour of the dress to find the right shade of red, Wanda had finished Nat's makeup a few minutes ago so she was onto accessories. After a few more colour changes we were done and nat stood before us in a floor length dark red dress with floral laces accompanying the dress.
Tumblr media
Wanda also wore red as it was her signature colour, her dress had draped sleeves that gave off what she called a witchy vibe. Her feet were encased in black stilettos with red bottoms, I was assured these shoes were expensive so people would appreciate them.
Tumblr media
Loki wore a velvet green suit jacket with a matching tie and black velvet suit pants, he wore a simple black shirt and black dress shoes but he accessoried himself with a smaller version of his royal horns. As well as a few other royal jewellery pieces to express his wealth and title.
Tumblr media
But since it was an event held in my honour Wanda and Loki had out done themselves when dressing me, they wanted people to know who I was simply by my presence and the fact that all eyes would be drawn to me. I wore a blue dress that was intended to replicate butterfly wings, the dress was also enchanted with an ethereal blue glow so I would look as regal as I felt. I had white heels that lace up to my knees, the ribbons were scattered with butterflies that would flutter and move with me. My hair was braided to mimic a crown and had curls cascading down my back. More blue butterflies were strategically placed throughout my hair with some baby breath flowers embedded into my braid.
Tumblr media
After giving ourselves a once over wanda request we take a picture together to remember the fun we had before my first official night as an Avenger, she used her magic to levitate the phone into the right place and angle it so we were all in frame before capturing the photo and sending everyone a copy. We all made our way to the cars that were waiting out front, which were taking us to a hall of some sort that had held many Avenger announcement events. We pulled up to the curb where the driver opened up the door helping us all out one by one. Loki decided to go in first so he could give us a grand entrance, which he did by magicing the doors open to reveal the three of us and a few butterflies surrounding us. The hall went silent as if everyone had been enchanted by our presence, they slowly went back to their conversations and danced as we made our way to Loki at the bottom of the stairs. Where he escorted us to the team's section, my eyes were instantly drawn to Bucky's. He was busy appreciating his view of me and the bare skin I had on display. I was so distracted by his seductive gaze that I jumped when Loki had begun to whisper into my ear.
"Don't worry I made sure he had a tie to match your dress so everyone knows who has his heart." He whispered.
I looked at him with an appreciative smile, acknowledging his acceptance for my feelings and relationship with Bucky. He winked at me before pushing me towards Bucky, I landed in his arms and turned back to find Loki was gone and Nat was talking with Bruce, Wanda was dancing with Vision.
"Well hello there." Bucky said, his voice deep and seductive. "I must say I was apprehensive about losing you all afternoon but I'll admit it was definitely worth the wait."
"You're not too bad yourself, Sarg." I replied.
"I hope you enjoyed yourself, as I intend on keeping you to myself for a while once we are finished here." He flirted.
"As long as we aren't interrupted this time, I think it can be arranged." I flirted back.
"Ok enough flirting, drinks on Tony!" Sam exclaimed, pushing between us to hand me a shot.
"Talking about interruptions..." Bucky grumbled.
"Now that you're here I can finally make my speech and this party can get really into swing." Tony announced, a woman with strawberry blonde hair holding his arm.
He forcefully made his way past us and off into the crowd leaving the woman behind.
"I'm Pepper by the way, I'm married to that asshole." She said.
"It's nice to meet you, he has mentioned you and a daughter?" I commented.
"Yes, that would be Morgan, she's our toddler, she's turning three next month." She replied.
"Hey Pepper!" Bucky greets.
"Bucky It's good to see you again, how are you?" She asked.
"Oh you know nothing out of the ordinary, just training and missions. How's Miss Morgs?" He queried, fondness for the child written on his face.
"She is excited for her birthday but still misses her Uncle Buck, so nothing new." She jokes.
"I've got a gift for her, let me know when you're at the compound next and I'll come see her." He says.
"Well we will be there tomorrow for lunch, she asked to spend a day at the compound but we talked her into just lunch. We figured it would be the best opportunity since almost everyone is there and she'll have Peter to hangout with if anything comes up." She explains, before getting distracted and excusing herself.
"So I guess you know the Starks well and Tony forgave you for his parents?" I asked.
"It took him a while but after the blip and narrowly avoiding his own death he realised that life's too short to live in the past. Plus Morgan had grown attached to me so he had no choice." Bucky Laughed.
"Do I have competition?" I joked.
"I don't know youll have to take that up with her tomorrow." He replied, a boyish smile on his face.
The night continued similarly to the last conversation, lots of laughs and new people. Throughout the night I got to meet some of the Wakandans (Shuri, T'Challa, Nakia and Okoye), they were very friendly and Shuri had lots to say about Bucky and his time with them. She seems like someone to keep close incase I ever need to embarrass Bucky. I also met Scott Lang, Hope and Cassie, they were also nice and were a cute little family unit. A few others were introduced to me briefly such as Doctor Strange, Wong, Jane (Thor's girlfriend), Valkyrie, Korg, Drax, Groot, Rocket and Peter Quill. The guardians had all split up and so only some of them could make it to Earth for the event but they all sent their greetings. It had been a long night with drinks coming from left right and centre, different people offering to buy them for me. Thank the Gods I'm no mere mortal so it didn't really impact me until Thor brought out the Asgardian mead, even Steve and Bucky were getting buzzed from only the mead. At about 4am things had started to die down and most people had left, it was only the Avengers who were staying at the compound left. The guardians and Wakandans had to leave as they both had a fair journey back to their homes.
We all sat around a large round table talking about random things and playing games such as truth or dare which ended when Bucky was dared to streak up and down the street, which he did before 'he aint no chicken'. Thankfully Pepper had paid off the paparazzi so any humiliating photos wouldn't see the light of day, except I had snuck a picture of Bucky in all his glory before his run. After he came back we all decided to head back to the compound so as to not disturb anyone or have a chance of getting photographed doing dumb shit.
When we arrived some of the team decided to call it a night, Peter had crashed in the car so Pepper decided she'd take him to his room and she would also call it a night. Sam had fallen asleep on the couch in the living room so Steve and Bucky being the mature old men they are, grabbed a sharpie and drew a moustache and some dicks on his face. It's fair enough to say it was a good night and everyone that could drink wound up worse for wear. Vision ended up moving Pietro and Wanda back to their rooms, Bruce and Nat had disappeared the second we got inside (you can assume why they were in such a hurry). Tony had wandered off to his room to find Pepper, Scott and his girls had picked a room and gone to bed. Which left Thor, Jane, Loki, Steve and Bucky, Sharon did make an appearance apparently but she got all pissy when she realised the party was in my honour. We stayed up in the living area on mine and Bucky's floor talking about everything and nothing at the same time, Thor and Jane ended up getting into a heated makeout session which grossed Loki out enough to conjure himself to sleep. Bucky and I remained in each other's arms but weren't going to start getting handsy with Steve having a front row seat, at least not tonight anyway.
As the sun had started to rise Bucky, Steve and I ended up cuddling with Bucky spooning me and me spooning Steve. It felt like an unusually comfortable sandwich between two super soldiers. I was quick to sober up listening to the boy's snores but was abruptly shocked when I felt Bucky grinding against me. I had noticed before he fell asleep that he was hard but I didn't want to say anything and make him uncomfortable. He had started to make quiet moaning noises in between muttering my name as he continued grinding, I didn't want to wake him as I know sleep is hard for him and it's often disturbed by a nightmare. I also don't know what I'd tell him, he starts to slow down with his soft thrusts and just stays against me swivelling his hips to keep the friction. When I felt his flesh hand slide up and grasp my breast and start playing with it, I was sure I was gonna have to wake him up before anybody else woke up and caught him at his most vulnerable. But then his metal hand had wiggled its way underneath me and came around to grasp my heart. I knew then that this was gonna be the hardest decision of my life as I was already dripping from his thrusting and friction against my ass. So instead of deciding to wake him up and risk waking any light sleepers I used my magic to teleport us to my bed, but now I had to bring myself to stop him as it felt wrong.
"Bucky." I whispered, his face contorting in pleasure as his dream included me screaming his name.
"Mmm Aspyn, so hot and tight." He murmured, starting his thrusts again and he began playing with my clit. Rubbing it in small, strong circles.
"Bucky..." I started, hesitating slightly as I was slowly reaching my own peak.
"Ahh yes, Doll. So good for me." He replied, eyes still closed with pleasure still written across his face, reminding me that if I don't stop this I won't be the only one making a mess in my underwear.
"Buck, you gotta wake up." I say, a little louder than before. He simply just moaned as he started getting sloppy with his thrusts, indicating he was close. "Bucky!"
I began shaking him gently and slowly got stronger until his eyes opened wide, he took a moment to wake himself up, he clenched his hands and slowly realised what they were doing in his dream and where they were on me. He looked up at me, embarrassed evident on his beautiful face, but I gave him a sultry smirk to assure him I enjoyed it and even winked for good measure. He simply rubbed his face and in his deep smooth morning voice he chuckled.
"I can't believe that the one time I have a good dream comes to fruition whilst I'm sleeping." He grumbles.
"Well I was awake for it, and I enjoyed it." I smirked.
He smirked at me, I could see the gears turning in his head, as he shifted and laid back but he placed me on his lap. He rested with his hands on the back of his head, looking at me and taking in the view. When I teleported us to our room I changed us into our usual sleepwear. Him in his boxers and me in a sexy satin nightgown, this one had a deep-v neckline. He raised his hands to place them on my hips but decided to run them down my body from my cheeks to my hips, giving my breasts an extra squeeze.
"I think I could give you a play by play of what happened if you'd like?" I ask, already knowing my answer.
"That would be so good, Doll. You're so good to me." He groans, thrusting his hips upwards.
"Mmm I wonder if you'll still fit, after all this time and I haven't had anyone close to your size." I say between moans.
"We'll make it fit, Doll." He says. "You've slept with other people?"
"Yes but none of which I enjoyed or really had a choice." I admit, swivelling my hips.
"I had no expectations but I was hoping you would've atleast gotten to enjoy it." He shares.
"I only ever had two inside me since you, one was a life or death situation with Hydra, the other I was drunk and I believe drugged, as alcohol doesn't usually have an affect on me. And he didn't care about my needs, he just took what he wanted and left me in the side alley." I said.
"I'm not mad, believe me I know you have needs, even my super soldier stamina couldn't keep up sometimes." He says, sitting up and kissing me passionately.
"Thank you but i still want you to know that they meant nothing and I tried to think of you the entire time." I replied. "But enough talk, you have a slight- I mean a large problem that I happen to have the solution for."

I love arthur and bull so much but I am wondering what happened to arthur and josie?
Joke answer: Arthur was dealing with comphet and amicably divorced from his lavender marriage wife. They're still good friends and also Josephine is now doing her courtly romance thing with Blackwall in my game, and it absolutely delights me.
Long and serious answer: it was a mix of a few different things.
I lost interest in Josephine's romance. I've done it to death over the past nine years, and given Camellia's romance in Wrath literally rewired my brain, it made me realise I'm just not as interested in Josephine's romance anymore. I still think it's a good one, a very good one, but now it's just too cheesy for my taste. Arthur and Josie just… didn't have enough of an interesting dynamic for me anymore - they're very similar and while that makes them great friends, it doesn't give me anything to chew on after The Camellia Event™️. There's nothing there to make me feel a little bit insane.
Arthur himself - he's been in a weird spot because, again, he hasn't changed much in the nearly nine years I've had him. He felt...stagnant, and whenever I looked at replaying him again after The Camellia Event™️, I kept going "oh I wish Blackwall or Cullen was available for him" or "I wonder how he would work with Bull or Dorian" and the only reason I never changed from Josephine until now was simply "that's the way it's always been."
What really made me realise that I don't think Arthur and Josie are meant to be anymore is when I got Of Somewhat Fallen Fortune, I didn't rush to do it like I normally do. I...actually put it off, which is very unlike me. Yet I rushed to do the Bull's. I realised when I did my last replay in 2021 that they meshed well together as unlikely friends and that's what made me consider them as something more from time to time. It was a fascinating possibility.
In general, I've changed a lot as a writer and player, and so it'd only make sense that a character I developed when I was 19 is going to change significantly now that I'm in my late 20s (hell, I have a wholly different gender identity & sexuality lol) - especially as I've gotten more accustomed to revamping and reshuffling characters.
Shout out to @attanos for literally saying last Sunday "what's a little gay sex between two inquisition companions", me going for a 10 minute walk to think on it and going "yeah actually I think this feels right for him" the moment I got back.
I hope this makes sense, but Arthur and Josie have had a very amicable divorce in my head and I really still enjoy them as friends. Josie herself has now joined a very treasured rank of "former long-time love interests who have now been divorced following the realisation that my oc is actually gay/lesbian." She's one of two.

No. 6: NOT REALISING THEY’RE INJURED
Unhealthy Coping Mechanisms | Healed Wrong | “It’s not my blood.”
OC Whump
Hi, here is my contribution no.6 for Whumptober !
A bit of lore : All the children here are between 14 and 20 years old. Justine is the same Justine of day 3, but four years older. Will probably made it more clear when i’m not dissolving from exhaustion anymore.
If you have any questions, I'd obviously be more than happy to answer! Also, English isn't my first language, so i apologize for any mistake. This one is not very graphic, but check the tags for TW and enjoy !
Aaron didn't take the time to question the caregivers further when he overheard one of them talking about “Silver Shein's kids”, which for anyone who knows anything about Silver is a way of referring to the small band of various children, teenagers and young adults who gravitate around the guild.
It's entirely by chance that he's here to hear this. He has a magically-reinforced radius to check and the splint removed, and since one of Api's healers took care of it, the easiest thing to do is to come back to the clinic.
But last night, he learned from Aurore that most of the gang had planned to spend the day together. They're pretty reckless and impulsive, unsurprising for kids who've flirted with death and suffered enough for a lifetime, most of them long before puberty. They get into impossible situations and end up injured more often than normal kids.
It's probably not serious. They're reckless, but it's often benign stuff.
He ignores the little voice reminding him that Lucien is a healer himself, that he could easily handle minor injuries.
Then again, maybe they've just come to say hello to Api or look for Justine. The healer and his daughter are close of the children (of Lucien and Loan, especially, unsurprisingly. What they've all been through at the hands of Helios has brought them terribly close). Justine is as much a part of the gang as any of the other kids.
Aaron strides up the stairs, concerned but not really worried. It's probably nothing. He'll just check it out as a precaution. He has to admit, the little gang has certainly risen in his esteem with their exploits. Besides, his daughter is with them anyway, so he can say hi.
The corridors of the clinic are busy, and as he glances down each corridor and open room he passes, people linger on his face before looking away sheepishly. The gnarled scar that disfigures him tends to create a morbid fascination, even more so in places of care where the frequency of such terrible injuries dissipates the modesty of upbringing.
He has learned not to care, and even less so when he's in the midst of such an important task as finding the children.
He wanders for another 10 minutes without finding or hearing anything, and he's beginning to think he's understand wrong when he turns the corner of a hallway and comes upon them.
He recognizes Jonah first, standing off to the side, partially blocking the other’s view, in profile. The teenager's clothes are stained with dirt and dust, and rust-colored streaks down his back.
Lea is the first to see him, her green eyes widening as she rises from the bench where she's sitting. Her features are tense and the right side of her hair is plastered to her head with clotted blood.
Lucien, sitting next to the bench leaning against the wall, is startled and follows his friend's gaze. He looks haggard, but the sight of Aaron seems to bring him back to consciousness. A gleam passes through his eyes. Aaron has seen enough fear to recognize it in a flash.
Halsyl, who spotted him at the same time as Lea, stands back beside Loan, his eyes reddened and lips trembling.
It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter, precisely because Loan is at the end of the corridor, sitting on another bench, pale and silent. He's wearing a vermillion tinted of brown tunic, half up, while a healer is bent over his abdomen, hands glowing with magic.
Aaron rushes into the corridor, all remaining calm evaporating to give way to cold, cutting fear.
-Aaron...!  begins Lea, but he ignores her, because parts of Loan's tunic are an off-white color that clashes with the rest, and his brain has already made the connection, has already come to the logical conclusion: that Loan is covered in blood, probably seriously injured, because life can't leave this kid alone.
The unmistakable metallic smell that catches his nose as he stumbles up beside them seems to point to this theory and Aaron hopes, really hopes, that maybe it's not so bad. That Loan will be fine and that he won't have to contact Silver in a hurry to get someone to pull Nathaniel out of whatever place he's practicing his talents at the moment.
-Loan, Aaron said, his voice steady but urgent. Loan, kid, where are you hurt ? Hey, he scolds the healer without waiting for the boy's response, what happened ? Where's he hurt ? Why is he being treated in the corridor ?
The healer, looking very calm, doesn't even look up from his task as he answers.
-He’s fine, sir, don’t panic. Just a broken rib and a few others cracks, it repairs very well, and considerating of the flow of patients we have, I prefer to do it quickly in the hallway.
Aaron opens his mouth, then closes it. That’s... good. That’s good, but...
-Broken ribs wouldn’t bleed like that, he whistles. Where did it come from ? What’s all this blood ? Loan ?
-Sir, relax, he’s fine, it’s the most important, declares firmly the caregiver.
-Aaron, it’s okay, I... I can explain...
Lea’s tone is cautious and hesitant. She is Silver’s sister, who turned the Ensorceleur and made Helios so mad that he hates her even more than his brother. She is never hesitant, she is too impulsive and hot-headed for thar. He would knows, he has fought beside her countless times. This girl is not afraid of anything.
-Explain what ? The reason why Loan is in this state ? What did you all do ?!
-It’s not my blood, mumbles a faint voice.
-What ?! barks the mercenary as he turns around to glare at Loan. Halsyl flinches.
He feels an old fear begin to rise, a terror from his deepest nightmares.
Aurore is not with the group. She must be in the bathroom. Or out for coffee. Or somewhere else, in top form.
-It’s not my blood, the young man repeats half hidden behind his black hair, and he closes his eyes.
-I’m sorry.
-Where is Aurore ?
Aaron’s pulse is racing as a parent’s worst nightmare comes to life right before his eyes. They just left for a day out together in the city. In a relatively safe environment. What could have happened ? How ? Aurore must be somewhere else. It can’t be her blood on Loan’s tunic. That’s too much, right ? So at least not just her blood, maybe also from others people ?
-Where...where the fuck…
-In the operating room.
The caregiver is the one responding. He stood up at one point and faced Aaron, his posture open and deliberately non-threatening, as if trying to calm a beast. He has come between him and Loan, apparently unimpressed by the mountain of muscles with a deformed face that threatens to lose his composure. -She had lost a lot of blood and presented impressive injuries, but was treated immediately. It was the chief healer Api d'Estreya who took care of it.
The mercenary feels like he is underwater. Words are distant and muffled. His daughter is in the operating room with serious injuries. She has lost a lot of blood. This information is bouncing back and forth in his mind. From far away, he vaguely hears Lea trying to explain what happened. She talks about a street fight that went wrong, about stabbing.
Aurore was stabbed. Several times.
-Where is the room ?
-Right next door. Sir, I’m gonna have to ask you not to rush inside so you don’t put her in more danger.
Does he think he’s an idiot ? He knows that. He thinks about telling him, but the thought immediately dissipates as it sounds useless. Aurore is in danger. His duty as a father is not to put her in more danger, right ? If he can’t protect her, then at least he has to minimize the damage, right ?
The violent dizziness of the news passes a little while years of military training finally kick in and he suddenly grabs the doctor by the shoulders. The man tenses but doesn’t make a single move to escapes.
-I want every detail on her condition.
-Very well, the man nods. I’ll just ask you to sit down before you get sick.
He makes him put his head between his knees for a while, brings him a glass of water and explains that the quick reaction (Loan slowed the bleeding while Lucien teleported all three of them over a remarkable distance for his power. The others joined them on foot) had greatly improved her chances. The injury itself is impressive, but not complicated to heal. She should survive. Aaron still feels strangely detached from everything that’s going on, but he’s not about to get sick at least.
After the healer is done, they all sit in silence in this corridor. Someone takes Loan to get cleaned up and change. Aaron cannot put into words the relief he feels when his daughter’s blood-soaked garment disappears from his field of vision. He can’t put into words how he feels about the gang of teenagers at his side. They saved Aurore. They saved her... and maybe they put her in danger too. But these are thoughts he will have plenty of time to explore later.
It’s still half an hour before Api joins them in the corridor, looking tired but serene. This is the longest half-hour of Aaron’s life.
When the healer appears at the intersection, Aaron gets up fast enough for butterflies to burst into his vision. It doesn’t matter, because even through them he can distinguish the raised thumb from the healer and his reassuring smile, and the metal around his chest finally relaxes.

after rain, comes sunshine — huang renjun [preview]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: huang renjun x f!reader genre: coffee shop au, grumpy x sunshine, fluff, romance, slow burn-ish preview wc: 0.6k (actual wc: 6.7k) synopsis: a thunderstorm leaves renjun stuck with his relentlessly cheerful, ever-optimistic coworker— you. you're the embodiment of everything he hates, but as the night stretches on, renjun starts to realise that the things that irritate him the most may not be all that unbearable after all. at least, not if it involves you.

Heyo <3 I have a request with a song 🩷
Could you write with Yeonjun on
Rio - Sweetbitter?
Sweetbitter - RIO
Tumblr media
Hello! Thank-you for your request, hopefully this is okay lol.
Happy ending | Boyfriend! Yeonjun x reader | Angst & fluff
WC: 835
It was a humid evening inside your bedroom, with your head sobbing on your knees. The summer heat was starting to get suffocate you as you choke up tears. You can sporadically feel the refreshing sensation of the fan's mellow, cold wind gently brushing against your skin like a feather.
You lift your head up and were dazed as you reached for your phone in a blur. Once your hands felt the cold screen of the phone, you tapped on the screen in order to unlock it. On your lock screen, you saw a picture of Yeonjun hugging you from behind. Your soft, luscious hair blowing in the wind. He was wearing a black graphic shirt with boyfriend jeans whilst sweetly planting a kiss on your head. You both looked so happy. It hurt you little to remember.
Tears again.
You opened your phone to his contact. Your mind was pacing back and forth, trying to think of something to say to him. Anything that could release the burdening pain off your shoulders. You were so nervous - your body was shaking.
You desperately wanted to be in his warm, homely embrace again.
Your relationship didn't exactly end yet, and you knew that if you didn't message him soon, then he would've probably moved on. Or so you assumed.
__
5 days ago, you solemnly told him that you need to 'chat' with him. You told him that you wanted to break up because you thought that you weren't good enough for him, and that there were other people who were more deserving. He told you that you were the most beautiful person he had ever laid his eyes on, and that you were his favourite person ever. No matter what. However, because you were so relentless with wanting to break up, you both settled on having a break from the relationship.
Yeonjun was really upset and wondered what happened to make you feel like that. Because to him, it was crazy how his favourite person could feel like that. "Y/N, how could you not realise how obviously precious you truly are?" He silently whispered into the air.
__
You finally decided on what to send to him, "Yeonjun, I'm so sorry for the way I acted the last time I met you. I've realised that that I needed your touch more than I thought. I really miss you. I'm sorry. - Y/N,"
You didn't know that on the other side of the incandescent screen was a heartbroken boy, who had been awaiting for you to message him all day. He had waited so long that there was now a dent in his bed.
He was so excited, scared, and nervous that he had to pause for a minute before actually forcing himself to read what you had sent him.
He replied to you, "Y/N I'll be there in 5, is that okay?"
You answer, "Of course it is, Jun <3 T-T"
__
You guys both had the keys to each other's apartments, because you hung out so often. And he couldn't bring himself to return the keys to you yet, so he just held onto them. Hoping that he wouldn't need to.
You heard the door open. Yeonjun had arrived like he promised, in a dishevelled state. His hair was messy, his eyes were red, and all the rest. You knew it was him from the sound of his footsteps, which was steadily approaching your bedroom door.
You had to brace yourself to see him. You didn't have enough time put ice packs on your eyes.
Once he opened the door to your bedroom, you guys both looked at each other, both looking like you had been starved in a desert for a month. Without thinking, he rushes to your bed and warmly cuddles you with love. You felt so overwhelmed, as he hugged you deeper. He was snuggled in between your ear and shoulders, "I need your love Y/N. I dreamt about you every night. Did you ever dream of me?" He whispered, just loud enough for only the two of you to hear.
You muttered, "Y-yy-es... I m-m-missed you so m--uch." Damn, it was hard to talk whilst being in a constant battle with your tears. "Let's stay like this for a bit longer," you add. He nodded and hummed in agreement.
The fan's mellow, cold wind gently brushes against your skin again. This time, you don't feel cold because he's lovingly embracing you with his touch. Since the both of you were so exhausted and sleepy from draining all the water out of your bodies, you both just drifted off to the magical world of dreams whilst hugging each other - both never wanting to let go.
A bittersweet beginning with a sweet ending.

UNTIL I FOUND YOU | WOOSAN - CHAPTER 4
Tumblr media
genre »» childhood friends to lovers
pairing »» choi san x jung wooyoung
warning »» cursing
"I came to you with my secret feelings and childhood. See, I'm grown and I'm still here, Wooyoung. I have never given up on you even though we fell out. I still love you as you are..."
★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★
SAN'S POV
How could all the time I spent with Wooyoung be just a memory for him, when, for me, it was a breath that turns back and brings me back to life?
Now he was just staring at the dessert in front of his on the table. He was starting his sentences with “Remember? We used to..." He was talking about our memories. In fact, he wanted them to remain memories. He was running away from all of them. "That night," I started. We were still talking about the past. He, on the other hand, was trying to finishing his cheesecake in front of him. He said he didn't want to be in Yeosang's debt. Of course, your only main concern would be this instead of me.
"You cried because I left you alone."
"I did not."
"You did. Are you still afraid of thunder?"
After he nodded slightly, he stared at the window and watched outside for a while. I was talking about him calling me over because he couldn't sleep when it was raining outside one night, about how he cried because I didn't go to him and how he slept peacefully all night cuddling me because I had no heart to leave him and agreed to sleep with him (yes, I remember every single detail of it).
"I would come over again if you wanted."
He paused a little and then turned his gaze at me. "I'm used to it now." I shook my head and took a sip of the milkshake in front of me, while he kept eating his cake. He was stuffing his mouth fullly, with cream stain left on his lips. And I didn't even realise that I was watching him smiling until he raised his head.
"The hell you looking at?"
When I rested my elbows on the table and approached him, the fork he held in his hand loosened. I slowly reached out my hand towards his lips, which were parted of force. As I gently wiped out the cream stain on his lips with my thumb, he blinked more han once. I didn't rush. After my finger ran there slowly, I looked deeply into his eyes. One of the dead stars in there was still trying to hold on to life. How the hell could his eyes hurt me this much and still somehow fuel my desire to go after him at the same time?
"You are like a baby."
"Look who's talking."
I paused and looked at his face for a while with a frown. I didn't get it. I didn't understand what he meant until he took my hand on his lip and lowered it, and instead, when he approached my face, his hands still on mine, I don't know where the breath I took disappeared. Maybe mixed with his..? Wooyoung leaned forward and pressed his lips to the edge of mine.
While all the storms that broke out inside me calmed with the tip of his lips, with a single movement, he was unaware that he caused a new storm. For the last three years, since I realized my feelings for him, I was sure that nothing between us and Wooyoung would go beyond the concept of friendship. Because there was a line right between us, and whenever I was about to cross that line, Wooyoung would stop me. For example, I would hug him, and then I would check his reaction: he would make fun. For mocking, he would ruthlessly crush all my crumbs of hope with the tip of his feet and continue to mind his own business. And now this was far from the times when he mocked me. This time, I wasn't the one who contacted with him.
"The rest is yours." He pointed to the desserts with his eyes. As he let go of my hands and stood up, my hands, which he just held, were frozen. I couldn't anything in return, I couldn't even make a reaction. I was extremely astonished. Likewise, for minutes, I watched Wooyoung take his coat and leave hurriedly.
How likely was it that this happened and I lost all my marbles? Because I could never, ever believe that such a thing might have happened. After the past a year and a half when he left me at a dead end, how dare he do this and mess with my head? Because if he did, he must have known how my broken heart, whose pieces I was barely trying to hold, would anticipate more and beat like crazy.
Wooyoung would act without thinking, maybe we wouldn't be like this if he thought anyways. He would do everything to his heart's desire, ahead of the whole logic. He would do what he wanted at that moment, which he would continue to do even if regretting it in the end. He would be incorrigible, he would destroy everything but he would also know very well how to get everything back together with a single word coming from him. Maybe that's why I let him break my heart all this time, so that he could repair it in his own way, as he always did. I was willing him to hurt me just for a little mercy I would receive from Wooyoung.
And now he almost kissed me and walked off as if it was the most trivial thing in the world he did. He could destroy me as much as he wanted from now on; I could never leave him in any way. I let go of my hair between my hands, taking a deep breath, and looked at the watch wrapping around my arm. It was five minutes behind the class began and it would take me three minutes to get out of here and arrive at the building. But I don't know if I was ready to see Wooyoung this time.
And as a result, I got up and head the campus. I entered the classroom and as my eyes scanned the whole class, I found Wooyoung, and I started walking towards him, with a pleased smile on my face. He had covered his face with the book in front of him, scribbling something with his pen, which he didn't notice until I pulled the chair next to him and sat down. He lifted his head, he certainly seemed not to expect to see me that he blushed slightly and instantly closed the book and turned to me again. "What the hell are you doing here?!"
Actually, sitting next to him was not a strategy at all. Maybe it's not just Wooyoung who acts according to his feelings. It wasn't my brain that dragged me here, but my heart, because whenever I thought of Wooyoung, I always found myself around him.
"Guess why?"
As I leaned back and looked at him, he was biting his lips. I thought he was going to say something, but he was quiet. It was the first time he was so quiet next to me. Usually, he would get mad and brush me off. Now, he was looking at me as if he had committed a major crime, as if he felt embarrassment. I understood how much he regretted from his expression.
He might have regretted, but wasn't that the most valid evidence he was trying to hide his true feelings?
"That's Yunho's seat."
"You can't make up a better excuse?"
When he was about to say something, Wooyoung just paused and shook his head; he admitted that he was really looking for excuses. Under normal circumstances, while this situation should have upset me, on the contrary, I enjoyed it. I wanted to mess around with him. I leaned towards his ear and whispered. "What was that?"
When my lips touched his ear, he quickly pulled himself back and frowned at me. "I don't recall a shit."
"Is that so? Want me to remind you?"
Wooyoung's eyes were filled in astonishment, when I looked at his lips and approached him; he leaned backwards, his back touching the wall next to his seat.
"The fuck..?"
"Whatcha think I'm gonna do?"
"U-uhm... t-the thing back at the cafe.."
"So you remember?" I smirked.
"Ugh! Go fuck yourself!" He pushed me firmly, frowning. I didn't take my gaze off him for a second while I was spinning my pen between my fingers. Even though he kept pinching my arm during class and told me not to stare anymore, I didn't listen. I started to like it even more to annoy him.
I felt different, but in a good way. It was as if I could get close to Wooyoung again, but it was definitely not friendly, but with my real feelings. All I wish was that he wouldn't push me away and realize that the man in front of him was no longer that little boy.
You'll notice me.
