Filled to the brim with Madrid's richest, the line to get into the Isadora's House club spilled out onto the street and down a lengthy sidewalk. Isadora's hips swayed along to the beat of the song, one hand cupping her headphones and the other drifting over her turntable. It'd been the first time in many weeks that she'd felt comfortable in her own club, in her own home. Even if they hadn't been arrested for what they'd done to her, she'd been able to prevent them from hurting another unsuspecting girl. With cameras, witnesses, and evidence, they'd finally be locked away and out of her sight. She could finally breathe again.
Her crystal eyes lifted from the turntable to take a look at the clubgoers partying around her. She spotted Didac slithering around the club, handing off drinks and expertly avoiding the more clumsy dancers. Bilal remained at the bar, tending to guests and pretending not to notice Rocío ogling him from the other side of the bar. Ivan and Nico sat beside the yearning girl, looking equally solemn without their respective Blanco siblings. Isadora detested seeing either of them so saddened. Patrick's abrupt departure had left Ivan wandering like a lost soul, and it only made her heart ache for her dear friend.
But her attention broke away from the puppy-eyed teen when a hand clapped over his shoulder and a smile finally appeared on his face. The new face beside him made Isadora's stomach twist and her posture straightened. (Y/N) smiled back at Ivan and shook his shoulder lightly, making Ivan chuckle and finally loosen up. His sister, a sweet curly-haired girl named Sonia, appeared at his side and mustered a smile for Nico, a gesture (Y/N) couldn't extend to the boy. Instead, his eyes narrowed and without having to utter a word, Nico took Rocío and dragged the girl off to the dancefloor. Sonia slapped her hand over her brother's arm scoldingly and Isadora's lips curled up in amusement.
Almost as if feeling her stare, (Y/N)'s head turned in her direction and their eyes locked immediately. Isadora had little shame, that was well known by most who knew her, and yet she'd almost felt inclined to look away as her cheeks warmed. Nobody had ever made her feel like a little kid with a crush. Not Ivan, not Phillipe, not even the hottest guys in all of Ibiza and Madrid. And yet, there she stood, suddenly wishing she had a mirror to check on her appearance. (Y/N)'s head tilted and he leaned forward on the bar with a teasing grin. An invitation. She took it, only having to glance over her shoulder for her assistant to take her spot.
Isadora straightened her shoulders and tilted her chin up, striding across the club toward him and putting on her signature smirk. Part of it felt good to flirt, to pretend as if butterflies never erupted in her stomach each time (Y/N) crossed her line of sight. But another part of her dreaded what would follow after the flirting and teasing. Javier, Hugo, and Alex had scarred her. Made her self-conscious and hyperaware of everyone else's movements. They'd even made her doubt her best friend at the lowest point in his life and made her face ridicule by many in the school. Even with Javier's many apologies and his two former friends sitting in cells, they still haunted every dream with their sick, twisted grins.
"How long have you been staring at me, Isa?" He crooned and Sonia's questioning gaze made her face flush further. The girl pushed her glasses further up her nose and muttered a quick excuse, slipping away before she would be forced to listen to them. Ivan shot her a knowing wink and hopped out of his stool, disappearing into the crowd and meeting up with Nico and Rocío.
"I don't know what you're talking about, sweetheart," Isadora replied cooly, taking a moment to smile sweetly at Bilal when he set a cool glass of champagne in front of her. She scooped it up in her hand and took a sip, eyes never leaving his. "It seems like you're the one staring."
"Really? I could've sworn I caught you staring at me."
"You should get your vision checked then, babe." Her grin widened when he rolled his eyes and she set her glass back on the table, the champagne mixing with the buzz of the other drinks she'd indulged in throughout the night. They made her skin tingle and deliciously lit every cell in her being on fire. Her lips parted before she could think. "I wish you would just kiss me."
The teasing, playful look disappeared from his face, replaced by a curiosity and hesitance that made her wish she'd stayed at the turntable. She'd received enough pitying looks, and dealt with many keeping their distance; mainly because they either believed she'd made up her accusations or they simply didn't wish to break her further. He'd been there for the impromptu underwear party Rocío had encouraged to get her reacquainted with feeling confident in her body, he'd listened to her word vomit her feelings, and even answered the late-night calls when a nightmare woke her up and she knew her parents would only brush her off. The comfort was greatly admired, but the pity never was.
"I thought you liked keeping things at arm's length."
Ah, so he'd heard about her rejection of Didac's confession. She sighed heavily and picked up her cup again, downing the rest of the contents in one fluid move. Just as swiftly, Bilal refilled her cup and she made a mental note to give him a raise. "Didac's a good guy. I appreciate everything he's done to help me but... I see him the same way I see Ivan. I... I have a lot of baggage. I don't know if I'll ever be the same again. I get if that's something you don't want to deal wi-" Her words halted when lips pressed against hers, and her whole body lit ablaze. Finally.

trying to clean my drafts so the next few starters are kinda old
"This isn't a good idea, Menci." You sighed into your glass of whiskey, watching the youngest Blanco scan the club for her... girlfriend? Ex-girlfriend? Fling? You hardly knew what the two girls considered each other now but the longing looks, teasing, and Mencia's clinginess spoke volumes as to how they felt about each other. Mencia kept a hand on your bicep, digging her nails into the fabric of your shirt in frustration from time to time. "I'm telling you, Menci, you need to-"
"There she is!" Mencia grinned widely, snatching the cup from your hand and swiftly drinking the contents. Her nose crinkled slightly and she wiped her lips with the back of her hand, her lipstick miraculously staying perfectly put. She set the cup down on the counter and slipped her hand down to your wrist, practically dragging you off the barstool and toward an area on the dancefloor where Rebeka could easily spot her in your embrace.
"Doesn't Rebe box in her free time? I don't want a black eye-"
"You'll be fine," Mencia assured you, setting her hands on your neck and glancing back in Rebeka's direction. Her smile widening informed you the girl in question had likely noticed you and Mencia, and you sighed internally, wondering how you'd let Mencia wrangle you into helping her make Rebeka jealous. It was childish and impulsive, but things always were when Mencia was involved. You pursed your lips at the girl and she clicked her tongue, giggling softly as she planted a kiss on your cheek. "If anything happens-"
"Mencia."
"If anything happens, I'll tell her it was my idea. Nothing's going to happen to you, okay? I promise." Mencia bit the tip of her tongue, more giggles leaving her. An unamused huff escaped you, the buzz of everything you'd drank throughout the night finally beginning to take effect. You pressed your forehead against hers, taking in the glittery eye makeup she'd chosen for the night. It wouldn't be the first time you'd made out with Mencia, hell, it likely wouldn't be the last either. So, with one last sigh, you nodded.
"Fine. But if I end up in the hospital because of you, you'll owe me." You murmured, pressing your forehead against hers and feeling her body shake with airy laughter. Mencia made a hum of acknowledgment and placed her hand over your cheek, pressing her lips against yours. She tasted of cold whiskey and bad ideas. You slipped your arms snugly around her waist and felt her nails lightly scrape the back of your head.
"Babes!" The voice in your ear startled you into pulling away, your head turning to look at Isadora and Ivan. The platinum blonde stared at you with slightly widened, annoyed eyes, her shiny lips slightly curling. Ivan's gaze flickered between you and Mencia, his fingers curling and uncurling before he broke away from Isadora and made his way through the crowd toward the bathrooms. Isadora turned toward you with a scowl, snapping her fingers in your face. "What are you waiting for? Go after him!"
"Why-"
"Go!"
"Alright, alright," You pulled away completely from an equally puzzled Mencia, weaving through the groups of dancing club-goers until you reached the bathroom, spotting Ivan slipping into a stall and closing it in Patrick's face. The sight would've amused you if it weren't for how distressed Ivan had appeared. Patrick craned his neck to look at you over his shoulder, a scowl appearing on his face at the sight of you.
"What'd you do to him?" He asked accusingly, turning around to face you and pressing his back against the stall door. One might've viewed it as a protective stance, a friend wanting to keep another safe, but you knew Patrick's 'overprotectiveness' was only due to his painfully one-sided feelings toward the boy in the stall. You might've found it pitiful if you hadn't hated the guy's guts since he ruined your best friend's relationship by inserting himself into it shamelessly. Patrick had been indifferent toward your distaste until Ivan stepped foot on campus and seemed more keen on being your friend over his. Watching his face fall each time Ivan brushed him off was a hit better than any drug.
"Bite me." You snapped at him.
"Hey," Ivan sniffled. "Don't fight. I... I want to talk to (Y/N), Patrick."
"But-"
"You heard him." You smirked and Patrick's jaw clenched, his shoulder roughly colliding with yours as he stormed by you. You rolled your eyes at his retreating form, one hand rubbing your shoulder and the other reaching for the stall door. You tugged it open just enough for you to slip inside before closing it behind you and facing the sun-kissed boy.
"Hey." Ivan greeted weakly, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand and sniffling at him. He cleared his throat, uncharacteristically timidly fiddling with his fingers. If you'd learned anything about Ivan Carvalho in the few months you'd known him, it was that he was anything but timid. He was confident, cocky, yet overall a sweet guy.
"What's wrong, Ivan? What happened?" You asked him softly, taking slow steps toward him until you stood in front of him and gently took his hands into yours. Ivan chuckled softly, his fingers curling around yours. He inhaled deeply and tilted his head up to look at you, his adams apple bobbing when he swallowed thickly. Your brows furrowed at his nervous demeanor. "Are you oka-"
"I think I love you." The words tumbled out of his mouth, forcing you into stunned silence as your ever-growing tipsy state rendered your brain into a confused mush. Ivan laughed forcibly, his gaze flickering away nervously. "I... I've liked you since I first saw you in class. I- I thought you knew. I thought you knew and- I... seeing you with Mencia... it made me so mad. I can't explain the feeling. It hurt. I guess this is how Patrick feels like, huh? Must be karma."
"Ivan-"
"Can I kiss you? I... I just want to know what it feels like."

You watched the dancing crowd from your spot in the corner, the pounding of the music making the drink on the table vibrate with each beat. You made eye contact with Ivan and motioning towards the door but you only got a goofy smile and head shake. The boy had quickly grown to become a good friend of yours and you found yourself being dragged to parties.
"Why aren't you on the dancefloor?" A familiar blonde plopped down beside you, setting her drink on the table.
"This isn't my scene."
"Don't be a cliche, babe."
"Says the rich mean girl." You turned to look at Isadora, noticing her flushed cheeks and slightly hooded eyes. "You're drunk."
"Tipsy." She corrected with a raised finger, leaning back to study the crowd. Her short pink dress sparkled whenever the light hit it directly, her long earrings doing the same.
"When are you gonna open your eyes and see the prize infront of you?"
"What?" You stared at the blonde and leaned back slightly to get a better look at her. Isadora reached for her drink and took another sip, shrugging lightly.
"I like you, babe. Shit, everyone knows. Even your little friend. Why do you think he keeps inviting you to these things when he knows you hate it? Plus, not everything needs an explanation. I care about you. I don’t have to sit here and figure out why. I just do. So maybe you should try just accepting it too. We'd make a banging couple." You wanted to blame the alchohol running through her veins but you'd seen a fully drunk Isadora before and she'd certainly be making a big scene.
"Fuck, I dropped Phillipe for you."
"That's not a compliment." You muttered. Isadora snorted and hummed, nodding in agreement.
"What's it gonna be, babe? Are we gonna do this or not?"
"Ask me again when you aren't drunk and I might say yes."
