Every time a book markets itself as clean (not like a reviewer remarking anything but when the book is in its own marketing campaign saying that it is clean) I check and every time it's either Evangelical or Mormon.

Is that it??#Is clean the new term to like signal to other evangelists and stuff?#Like in general I don't really have a problem with books that lean on religious themes or have devout characters #But the last time I tried of the Christian variety it was 10 pages until “lizard people” were the stated enemies of the book world and I #Could not in good conscience finish that book
