I was originally just going to kill off Irru and Tikka like everyone else from their time but I got too attached. This does have a very funny theoretical consequence for the only other guy who is still alive, Hyness, if he ever finds out. What do u mean the last other remaining member of ur species is also the most annoying person you’ve ever had the displeasure of knowing

Introducing: Irunova and Kuitikkantra, Ancient lovers or besties or colleagues or whatever the fuck you know

Irunova is bold, brash, and tbh kind of a nosy ass sometimes. Despite the deliberate, elegant air it tends to put on, Irunova is pretty impulsive and is often quick to dive into new projects for the hell of it. If it gets in over its head uh no it didn’t, it meant to do that. 

Kuitikkantra (aka Tikka) might say it belongs in the trash, but that’s its anxiety talking. It’s kind of shy and doesn’t like face-to-face interaction so it genuinely has no fucking idea how it ended up with Irunova. Tikka likes to stay organized and prefers to carefully gather as much information as it can before getting into a situation, which… does not always happen when it is with Irunova! Whoops! But that’s ok

I drew these two so much during June and didn’t know how to introduce them so just take this for now lol

important Irunova fact to consider is that it is 8ft long. It weighs a lot. Might be lowballing it even

Tikka is about 6ft tall and that weight is super duper bullshit math based on ground beef, which Tikka is not made of. Might have overshot it but the point is all my kirby characters are fucking big and sometimes I remember and it scares me. I should do a size chart (has been saying this for 3 years)

on the topic of the kirbyfication of the splat bio AU if you showed the respawn tech (it is short distance teleportation devices) and its usage in Sports to alien wizards/magitech engineers they will be horrified. one million magitech safety violations per day, recreationally, teleportation is really fucking finnicky with higher risk of fatal mistakes the shorter the distance

to be fair the squidscountry is the only place that uses this thing For Fun, it was developed based on human scrap tech for usage in places like Active War Zones and other genuinely hazardous work environments. If your other option is to Die, then "use device that might get u out safely but it does have a chance to kill you by clipping u into a nearby object or spitting you out into the void of space or whatever" starts to seem like a pretty reasonable risk to take u feel. Modern recreational respawn tech is pretty good and it is so so so carefully maintained though. There's only like, 2~5 accidents per year. It's basically fine. Don't worry about what those accidents look like.

Interesting phenomenon occurring where whenever I don’t know how something magical works in the kirb-splat world I automatically turn to my OC and ask it what’s up with this shit. As if I’m not the fucking guy who still has to come up with the answer. It works sometimes

you can never "just" make up some throwaway names you can have characters reference bc then youll be like "well what does throwaway referencename look like hm?" and then next thing you know youll be bashin your head against the canvas over Mx Throwaway Referencename and its stupid little outfit

The displeasure is not mutual for the record. Irunova has no strong opinions about Hyness he’s just one of the guys it used to know. The hypothetical Reveal cannot be before Starallies however bc if Actively Losing It Hyness interacts with Irru/Tikka he will not survive the encounter and we will destroy the upcoming plot. Bye.
