I’m back in my Wolfwalkers obsession.
Anyways I made a tattoo design and couldn’t stop fucking editing it. Behold.
It would preferably wrap around my arm (unlikely, my arms are twigs) so I wanted it to read well with either girl in the front. Also made color versions

In the world of rock, Queen stands out as a good example of the clash between guitar and piano in songwriting. I think that’s where you stumble across those more unusual arrangements and chord structures.
In my heart I want to do more hard rock music, but at the same time, I’m much more attracted to the piano. I think that automatically causes something unusual to happen.
Also Smashing Pumpkins, even though they’re not piano-based. I always found their arrangements interesting, like on the album, Siamese Dream. In terms of guitar, I also like Rage Against the Machine and Jimi Hendrix.
But in terms of piano, I love Ben Folds, but to me, that’s a very different style of music. I love the low, heavy piano bit in “Jackson Cannery.” It made me realise if you want to get heavy, you have to get down there and hit some large chord.

More bodhrán. From this angle, you can see how the drummer is using their non-dominant hand to control the drum's pitch.

Daily instrument — Cláirseach
The cláirseach or Irish harp is the traditional harp of medieval Scotland and Ireland. The cláirseach has a large soundbox, a curved neck, an out curved fore pillar, 30–50 heavy brass strings, tuned diatonically, and is plucked by fingernails. The cláirseach survived through the 11th–17th century, but then disappeared. In 1820 a modern version of the instrument was created. It was more lightweight, used gut strings, and could be played chromatically.

Have you listened the second song for Ireland's NF? As someone who had to endure the Ray D'Arcy show (the Irish radio program where the songs are being revealed each day) with talks about mice, soup and stamps for an hour before any Eurovision mention; the song is something I NEVER EXPECTED from Ireland and yet...It gives hopes...
i’ve only heard the snippet of it, but honestly i can’t wait for the full version to come out. and i completely agree, i would’ve never expected something like this to make it into the tragic show that is the irish nf. yet here it is and i too have HIGH hopes!!
