I’m playing dnd for the first time and I drew my character <3

Thinking about how when Liam asked if Nott’s crush on Caleb was something Sam came up with pre-campaign, Sam responded “No, when I stared into your eyes during some of the scenes we had together, it was sort of a natural thing” like that isn’t some of the most romantic shit I’ve ever heard. ‘When I looked into your eyes I knew she was in love.’ Like fuck dude. It wasn’t part of the plan, but it happened anyways. How could it not? Falling in love with Caleb was simple, it was obvious, it was the most natural thing in the world.

Another art piece of my pre BG1-2 headcanon which again was inspired by BG3 Bhaal Temple. I wonder how this place looked like in it's former glory.

My bhaalyn characters who lived before and during Time of Troubles, elven lass is my BG1-2 protagonist's mother.

Iris lived in the middle of nowhere and used to be chronically online :P She is Very good with animals and chickens are their special interest!

Finally finished Baldur's Gate 3, so here's my Tav! Her parents are my Kalach-Cha and Gannayev-of-Dreams from Neverwinter Nights 2. Mildly bummed out that BG3 only allows for infernal tieflings, so in game terms she is just a funky looking human. And yes, she did inherit the gradiant hair from her dad ;D

fascinated by characters who have relationships where something So Huge happened between them that it’s impossible to deal with and they have to navigate life with this enormous elephant in the room at all times. And they simply Have to ignore it if they want to preserve that relationship. like it’s such a precarious situation to be forced into and it’s fascinating to examine what kind of mental backflips people are willing to do to maintain a sort of cognitive stalemate in their lives for the sake of normalcy

We ended up doing community service in the plane of Daanvi, and one of the tasks was to eliminate a chaos incursion.

My wizard Iris pulled through at the end of the fight and fended off two enemies all on her own while protecting her fallen friend (who could not be healed in the moment 😱)

Oh, and due to mysterious backstory reasons that I may describe in the future, she has pink hair now! :))

I ended up using two textures from pixabay to make the background coloring a little easier:

Drawing the clockwork gears was a nightmare was so time-consuming but it ended up looking very satisfying in places. Too bad they are pushed all the way in the background huh :"DD

This is also my first scene with a fully developed background. I tried paying attention to values to highlight the central piece of the scene (Iris and her friend), it was a great learning experience.
