This week was spent on more development. This included looking towards the future to see what people are saying about the project and where it will be talked about. The begging of the design research was also started.
How to manage a project better
The first thing that is known about good project managers is that they are able to learn from failure but knowing that failure doesn't look that good to the client or whoever has hired the team a good PM will always be able to convince with their confidence, charm and background experience.
Product Managers will use their experience in technical and non technical aspects for the project as a good product or project is not combined solely of one key element or indeed one key skill set or person.
Good PMS will look at things like:
We VS I:  This refers to the old saying “There is no I in Team” and this basically meaning that when a Project Manger in particular is talking about something that was accomplished in the project they will never say “I did this or he did this” instead they will say “We hit our dealing by doing this” this makes it sound more of a team effort and this can have a good effect on the team as everyone feels included in the progression.
Collaborate: This is a very basic one, the idea is that you wont be working eye to eye with everyone and indeed for the most part no one as everyone has their own ideas and options that will clash with everyone else and this is good as this generates more ideas and helps a end product be more of a team effort and the ideas that were scraped, taken on or enhanced will make the product better refined in the end. The basic line is if everyone is agreeing with everything the Project Manager is saying then there is something wrong.
Communicate: This is something everyone expects from a good project manager. The fact that the PM should be able to communicate with the entire team no matter what department they are in is key as this is the main way the ideas between people are exchanged as the PM has the final say on approved plans. According to the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Book of Knowledge, project managers spend almost 90% of their time communicating. Good communication is imperative to success for the project.
Report Concisely: This relates to how the PM will present the progress and the accomplishments of the team to the investors or client after a cretin time frame or after a target is hit. The people in charge are only interested in a few key things that relate only to them which of course revolve around money and RFIs.(Request for Information : is collecting info about the capabilities of suppliers for example.) It is important that the PM knows how to scratch the itch of investors by showing what they need to see based on the audience which can also relate to understanding the target audience.
Think Ahead: This is an obvious for a project manager. The manager needs to be thinking not one day ahead but ahead for the whole project as every single eventuality needs to be accounted for to save the project from potential collapse, for example having extra resources in case the project goes over limit, or if someone calls in sick or leaves. Knowing the risks ahead of time allows people the chance to avoid or prepare better for the effects of them
Helping everyone stay in their zone: This is another key skill for a good PM as multiple people have various key skills to offer the project and the first thing a PM will do is to give out specif roles to certain types of people based on skills and professions. By establishing the hierarchy within different divisions and overall everyone knows who is making the decisions and will not get out of their zone and waste time by making independent decisions which will waste resources and set everyone else back.
Generate Solutions:  The PM is the head of the project and therefor needs to be able to be on their toes with solutions to everyday and future problems for the project. They need to be able to be cooperative and listen to the team to generate solutions and have the leadership to pick the best one but also be the leader in the group by getting the ball rolling and having multiple ideas themselves while being able to keep the finance and other resources in mind when generating solutions.

This is a task where one will take the project and create headlines in the biggest outlets that are in the same filed as the end outcome/product. For example having a article in the great outdoors magazine. Doing this one needs to plan ahead about 3 years so that the product has in theory had time to be received and polished a bit more from user feedback. 
Thinking about what customers and people will be saying about the product based on user personas and other market research. It is a good way of thinking ahead and planning how to market the product and of course where to aim the advertising id any is done, it can also zone one mindset into a product a bit more and create focus in the team.

Target audience 
The target audience is a specific group of people that a product will be made for or will be made with them in mind. Its done for them as they are the more likely to purchase the product and spread the word about it. The market research is key to the target audience as with very generic products such as toilet paper less specific research is needed as everyone uses the product, for things like clothing specific ages and genders are things to consider for example, Expensive tailor made Italian suits are going to be targeted towards adult men, who are in positions that use suits regulatory such as an entrepreneur or business owner who makes a over 100,000 a year salary.

Starting Research  
Below there is a collection of images that showcase some designs that could be used as inspiration for the PDF book layout. Most of the designs utilise the entire page by splitting it in half. The rule of thirds can be used to make pages more attractive to the reader. The text isn't the first thing the eye is drawn to in most of these nature books but more so to the photograph as it has more for the eye to gravitate towards, this works as the text is explaining what the topic is about and without seeing the text first readers will already know what their about to read about.  
The use of amazing photography is something that would be desired and indeed may be necessary for the book, but as seen below there is a few books that utilise the illustrations 
In the book rather than photographs which can save time and resources on the project as photographs that are of a good enough quality would be very hard to obtain due to the wildlife of northern Ireland and something else to consider is the time of year as its now the end of September, meaning that photographs with good foliage may be needed ASAP before autumn sets. The specific example uses an art style that is somewhat abstract which is an art style thing one is personally a fan of. Another thing that one is keen on is using badges, personally one thinks that logos and graphics are great and having good visual aids is amazing as it helps brighten up a plain text page but one was in the Boys Brigade which offered some patches for wining tests or completing drills or winning football etc similar to those of the kidets but the brigade was more focused on the christian values and marching drills. The patches make one think of the boy scouts patches as well which are far more know world wide and there patches were given out for doing outdoor actives and had some good use of colour and graphics on them, this is an idea that one is keen to purse to place in the book somewhere, perhaps as things people do to tick off in the book or to show difficulty for some of the paths.
