Since the topic of my 2016 horror series came up, have some old, VERY old concept art. The gist of the series involved a race of masked shadow people called hidlinks.

They were divided in three groups:

• Maestus, known as the Ordinaries that fed off humanity’s pain and fear, ruled by the their queen, the Spider.

• Iratus, the Faceless Ones that are emotional cannibals feeding on grief of other hidlinks and having a softer spot for humanity.

• Laeta, the Eyeless that did feed off emotional anguish but comforted those they fed off afterwards.

The series was meant to center around three hidlinks from each group coming together with their own reasons to want to kill the Spider. It took place in a post-apocalyptic future but I have kinda abandoned this project. Still, it was fun to look at.

The Best Games of 2022

Welcome to the my personal list of games I enjoyed this year. That’s right it’s my list, feel free to disagree with me but it won’t change anything. Anyway here are the rules;

1. These are games that I’ve played and reviewed this year. 2. The only order to this list is the order in which I reviewed them, its not a top 10, these all feature because of how good I consider them to be. 3. The games don’t have to have been released this year.

With that all said, lets get into it.

Psychonauts 2

This was a long awaited sequel for me, I loved the original (and lacked the tech to play the VR one) and loved this one even more. Everything the first had this iterated on and improved. Great characters, wonderful humour and I love the art style.

A Hat in Time

Yet more platforming goodness. I enjoyed my time with this so much I introduced it to my nephew (and I don't usually do that because he makes any game I do that with insufferable). Bright, colourful and full of character.

Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition

I really enjoyed my time with this game and I'm waiting as patiently as I can for the sequel to finally land on PC. This game ticked boxes I didn't even know I had. Hunting mechanical dinosaurs (and other creatures) it turns out really is my jam.

Death's Door

A recursive game... I like that as a term and its a term that fits this game perfectly. This was a game that I liked the look of and loved the feel of playing. The combat is meaty but manageable as long as you don't allow yourself to be swarmed.

Iratus: Lord of the Dead

It looks and plays similiarly to Darkest Dungeon in a lot of ways, but not so much so there isn't anything unique about it. However the ability to enhance your units by adding body parts that you harvest from successful combats gives this game a unique feeling. Go on play it, be the bad guy.

Wandersong

This was such a feel good game, I believe I said this game felt like a Cartoon Holiday Special and I stand by that statement. It's saccharine sweet at time but sometimes thats exactly what you need.

The Outer Worlds

I do love a nice chunky RPG sometimes, one where you can really get your teeth into the mechanics and fiddle with numbers etc. The Outer Worlds gave me exactly what I wanted. I would suggest investing in the DLC's though, they're very unique and entertaining... perhaps more so than the base game.

Oxenfree

Play this game. PLAY IT. It's not overly long and the mystery is great. That's all I can say. So...

PLAY IT.

Dusk

Screenshots do not do this game justice. This game is frenetic and and a joy to control. It seems boomer shooters are back and are taking no prisoners.

A Plague Tale: Innocence

This game is just so damned good, its gorgeous and grotesque to look at. The story... well it's interesting. We'll see if the sequel can match what the original did. Stealth your way to victory and stay in the light!

This can only lead to good things, sure the games may take longer but the talent used to create them will now finally have some real protection from their corporate masters. With luck more and more of these unions will spring up and really affect some long lasting change for the better.

So it has been awhile now and the reason for that is, i have been bussy with life and work but i dindn't to forget to still upload some Stalker videos for you all to enjoy. What did i completed in these 2 months of update.

I had alot of fun with this game also spend allot of hours on it, i think it really surprised me at the end. Start a new life in the enchanting town of Portia! Restore your Pa's neglected workshop to its former glory, grow crops, raise animals, befriend the towns quirky inhabitants and uncover the mysteries this charming post-apocalyptic land has forgotten! So go out and make a name for yourself, date, make friends or even marry.

The Dark Pictures: Little Hope

A game with intrigue where any decision you make is final and depending on what you do how many wil survive at the end. Abandoned and all alone, 4 college students and their teacher become stranded in an isolated town miles from anywhere after their bus crashes in bad weather. Trapped by a mysterious fog in the town of Little Hope, they search desperately for a means of escape whilst visions from the past haunt them from the shadows.

Lego Marvel's Avengers

It's lego what more can i say ;) Anyway the game really captivate the movies and even some of the heroes own movies in a really funny way.

Tales For the Borderlands

Another Telltales game that is enjoyable in the world of the borderlands. Getting downgraded from hyperion you try one big score and from that moment everything goes wrong but as any telltales game your decisions mather what happens.

Monster's Den: Book Of Dread

Just a short game that i once bought. You have to make your way trough different stage to get the the last boss, it is enjoyable for getting out of the big games but sometmes still hard.

Tsioque

A dark but playful Point & Click adventure. You have to escape the clutches of an Evil Wizard and discover the secrets hidden within the spellbound castle of your ancestors. We take the role of princess Tsioque, imprisoned in a castle overtaken by the Evil Wizard.

Garshasp: The Monster Slayer

A game i had in my backlog it is not actually bad if you get used to the controls, at times it is a hard game. Years after the confinement of Azhi Dahaka by Fereydun, the evil Deevs (Monsters) who were the commanders in the army of darkness led by Azhi Dahaka rose again in different parts of the ancient lands of Khunirath and rebelled against the humans who were celebrating the victory of the army of light. This game is based on ancient Persian mythology bringing to life the epic battles of the mythological hero, Garshasp, in the ancient lands against the evil monsters. You play as Garshasp himself, the strongest man in Persian Mythology, in a journey to revenge and reclaim the legendary mace of his ancestors which is stolen by the Deevs. A journey which proves to unlock more significant hidden mysteries. The main mechanics of the game revolve around melee combat, platforming and exploration.

Wolfenstein: Old Blood

This game is a prequel to the first game. You play the same person where you find out what set him on the path to the first game and meet some people that where in teh game itself.

Chicken Police

Also a game i thought i wouldn't like but you do get in the game the moment your playing it. The game it self is A wild tale of love, death, chickens, and redemption! Chicken Police is a buddy-cop noir adventure, with a carefully crafted world, a gritty story, and lots of absurd humor. The game mixes elements of classic adventure games with visual novel-style storytelling.

As you noticed i did the 2 months update as i didn't do the one last month. So in the months i played Wolfenstein is my favorite just because when you play it i didn't feel i want to stop and you just try the slow apraoch and Monster's den my least favorite just wel there was not much to it, it was just a inbetween game. Also over the 2 months i got offcourse my choice games but there where also some nice bundles for sale. So i continue the Let's Play of stalker and see you guys on the next update.

I’ve noticed (nearly) all of your spicy stuff is either WLW or Buwaro/Kieri. Is that something you’re doing on purpose and intend to stick to, or might we eventually see some MLM ones as well? I love your… idk, tone? approach? with them, I’m just too gay to really enjoy them. (I hope this isn’t treading into too-personal territory btw, feel free to ignore this if it is)

Hey, I get it. Everyone's got what they like. (Nearly) all of the spicy stuff I've drawn so far has been personal art, so my own preferences are definitely showing. I just follow where my mood takes me, and it turns out that I just don't tend to draw as much MLM. I also consider the Typhlosion stuff to be genderless. I can't decide my moods, but maybe you'll see more if I get commissioned to make it in the future! Or if I do art trades with different friends or something. However, you did remind me of some very slightly spicy art with Iratu and Azurai that I don't think I ever uploaded to tumblr. Here it comes!
