Far from him to question his father’s wishes, but Sesshoumaru had some reservations about all this. Was he really old enough to learn how to fly? He had never seen someone his age flying... if you don’t count things like birds, obviously.

More than that, weren’t they a little too high up for this? Or was his sire expecting him to plunge to his death as a part of the lesson?

He’d rather do this from the safety of the ground. That was all.

19 years and we’re still a thing. Who ever thought we could make it this far? But here we are, and though we still have our differences, those differences are what make us fit together like jagged puzzle pieces~ Every day with you is a gift, and here’s hoping for many more of them~!

@ka-go-me helped check on the accuracy of the translation:

The design Takahashi-Sensei used for Oyakata-sama (The leader, Boss, Lord)is an unexpectedly young looking and androgynous image compared to that huge corpse.

Otsuka Okio-san having been in charge of the anime voice over, called presence to [the Inu no Taishou's] paternity emphasized by a long career as a samurai.

I tried to adopt that balance in the different way I wrote my manga adaptation.

We always suspected but never had solid proof that Rumiko Takahashi designed Inupapa's human form. This is about as close as we'll get and I'm delighted!
