So tonight's collage was a basic concept that I wanted to work with. I was working with pieces I had cut quite a while ago, so if this weren't a sketch, I would have been a bit more precise with the length of my pieces. However, I enjoy working on this sketch and I love the concept.

Hi frens, Sunny here for this week’s #MindfulMonday.

We’ve been talking a lot about mindfulness for humans, but did you know that us pups need to address our mental health too and can also benefit from mindfulness?

In our home, we’ve found that music can really help me.

While we were working on separation anxiety training, we were introduced to Wholetones for Pets. If you’re not familiar with Wholetones, it’s a healing frequency music project from Michael S. Tyrrell.

The Wholetones for Pets music is specifically at the frequency of 396hz and is designed to give relief from separation anxiety as well as loud noises such as fireworks and thunderstorms.

It’s worked so well for me that now whenever my human plays the sound, I know to head to my crate for some relaxation time.

If you don’t want to purchase Wholetones, you can also find calming music for dogs on Spotify. One playlist that my friend @kaleiahskyy shared is called “Dog Music” from @pryvemusic.

Another thing that helps to calm me down is that at night time my human plays the Ocean at Dusk soundscape from @headspace. Once I hear it start, I find my spot and curl up to sleep.

When your intuitive collage predicts future gifts of chocolate from Las Vegas that will undoubtedly make your children happy, you have to stop and wonder.

So I went for a more minimalist look for this sketch... for a reason. If you don't work with internal sight, this may sound a bit strange to you, but my mind's eye shows me very detailed vivid images, especially when I am meditating. Anyway, I was meditating earlier today and saw a collage in the style I have been working with during the meditation. I couldn't find the images I saw, so I tried to recreate the basic shape. I might continue working with this in the future, but this will be the launching point.
