Charlotte Bishop is a human that currently resides in Downtown and has been a Lunar Cove resident for 3 years.
ITS THE END OF THE WORLD
GENDER/PRONOUNS: CIS Female, She/Her

OCCUPATION: Employee at Interstellar Planetarium
FACECLAIM: Natalia Dyer
AS WE KNOW IT, AND I FEEL FINE
SPECIES: Human
COALITION POSITION: Member
WELCOME TO LUNAR COVE, CHARLI BISHOP
Trigger Warnings: Death, Drugs, Depression
A silver spoon on your tongue would taste so sweet, as long as you weren't allergic to silver. Charlotte Bishop was convinced that she must have been. Born the second daughter of the Bishop family, she enjoyed the brief time she had being the baby of the family, the one that was doted on while her elder sister was still figuring out how to keep her feet underneath her. It didn't last long. Three girls, three Bishop women, brought into the world to take society by storm and make sure the reputation of their family remained held in high esteem.
At first, Charlotte was rather good at it. Being the quiet, submissive, daughter that never once had her own thought about anything unless it was put in her brain by her parents. It was easy, honestly. All she had to do was let the world continue to spin as it always had, with the Bishops at the top of the proverbial food chain, never wanting for anything since they could easily buy or bribe for whatever they could ever want. It was well known that Charlotte was was the easy one, the one you never had to worry about because she was a rule follower, the one who never made a mess or a commotion, keeping to herself and her books. Her parents never had to be concerned if she would be a problem, so they hardly thought about her at all. Charlotte could take care of herself without being any trouble at all, but what happens to a child left to believe they had to take care of themselves?
Darien, Connecticut is full of commuters, people who worked in the city but didn't want to live among the grim that covered everything shiny and glamorous. They liked to believe they were city people but they'd never truly last more than an hour, always desperate for an escape back to their pristine lawns and hospital-grade cleaned kitchens. That's why it had been perfect. New York City was a beacon to Charlotte before she even realized what was calling to her. At some point in her life, she was told that she had an old soul and maybe that did explain why she'd always felt so lost in her young body. Never quite understanding who she was when she was constantly overrun with who she was supposed to be. Perhaps it was the old soul or the depression but sometimes it was difficult to be able to tell the difference.
She loved her family, there would never be any denial about that, but she wasn't like them. Wasn't cut from the same cloth. Someone had to be the black sheep and, it was more gray than black, Charlotte knew that was her. Whatever Connecticut was offering her, she didn't want. It was in high school that she started rebelling more against her upbringing, knowing that all her privilege wasn't going to disappear overnight, and she didn't want it to, but she could use it to reach out to help instead of turning her nose up at those in need like her parents often did. For so long she'd been boxed into her golden cage, never once pushing against them until she thought the only real option was to bite the hand that fed her...not too hard, of course, but enough for her to finally find a voice even if it was weak. That was the day Charli was born.
Determined to get out from under her parents thumb, she enrolled in Columbia University, moving into the city and leaving the suburbs far behind. Well, not that far, but far enough that she didn't worry about impromptu visits or unscheduled phone calls. Honestly, at this point, she hardly expected phone calls at all from her family other than her sisters, now that she was out of sight, Charli was quickly put out of her parents minds. Apparently, following the rules was easy to forget about when you were allowed to experience things for the first time and it quickly becomes a slippery slope. The space between trying to find yourself and ending up in a seedy bathroom at three in the morning with someone you just met was not as great a distance as some would have you believe.
But it was a life, something different, something exciting which Charli couldn't claim she had before. Her whole life had been safe and planned, but New York was different. There were plenty of nights that were a haze, lucky to wake up the next day in her own bed with her wallet, keys and phone all accounted for, and others when she woke up in someone else's bed, wondering what day it was when the high finally wore off. It had seemed so freeing at first but dreams like that could quickly sour into nightmares. To say she lost herself was not a stretch. She'd thrown away the version of herself that loved the stars, got lost in fairytales and dreamt of a better world for everyone in it. Somewhere along the way, she'd been convinced those things were weak and childish, instead of magical. And she'd believed them, choosing instead to become the one who didn't care.
It was a miracle that Charli graduated at all and she had a sneaking suspicion that it had taken more than a few calls from her parents to the Dean to make sure that happened. Crumbled degree in hand, she managed to get a job at a small secondhand shop in the city, each deep breath scented by the books on the shelves and the perfumes in antique bottles. It was almost as though that very smell perforated her skin and reached deep inside of her to find that girl that had once loved magic and reminded her of it. Reminded her of who she was. It didn't happen quickly. Years passed, riddled with visits back home to her family and college friends slowly distancing themselves until Charli realized that she was left with herself. And who she wanted to be.
There was a tugging deep inside of her that called her out of the city, not back home, but somewhere else. She'd never been a religious person but she'd grown to realize that she was spiritual, that the world was full of signs and omens if you kept your eyes open. That was how she found herself in Lunar Cove. It was hard to explain but it had been a feeling that brought her there on the eve of her twenty-sixth birthday. It was a place unlike any other she'd been before and it become her salvation. A town where people were accepted as they were, encouraged to not hide and it was here, in this place, that Charli found a way back to who she was. To the girl who loved the stars and fairytales and believed that the was still something worth fighting for in this world. It felt right, it felt like she was back on the path she was meant to be on but life wasn't done with her yet.
In the autumn of 2023, Charli got news she never imagined she'd ever hear - Ronnie was dead. Not just dead but murdered. Killed in a horrific way and it took next to nothing for Charli to go back home to her family, to Aspen, and try to figure out what happened. But the more they looked into it, the less it made sense. And if there was one place that she believed could hold answers, it was Lunar Cove. Maybe there had been something to that feeling all those years ago drawing her to the small town. Maybe it would hold all the answers she'd ever been looking for.

OASIS IN SPACE! — sfw ノ first time meeting ノ umemiya hajime x shy!f!reader ノ entry for @interstellar-inn’s help wanted collab ^ ^ <3
Taking the ticketing position at your local planetarium seemed like a good idea until you found out you’d be thrown into your first shift with essentially zero training. Your only chance at having anything remotely close to a successful first day is to swallow your nerves and just ask the 6’2 usher for some help!
Tumblr media
“Excuse me… is this where we scan tickets?”
If the man you’re trying to talk to hears you, he doesn’t respond. You clear your throat— as quietly as you can to avoid disrupting what you assume is the planetarium show’s usher crouched down in front of you.
He looks pretty from behind, and it takes a forced blink or two to stop staring at the way the muscles of his back bulge against his shirt with each little movement he makes.
You think he looks around your age too.
The way his body also blocks the only entrance to the planetarium— which is where you think you’d probably need to be— doesn’t really help your situation much either.
“Um…” you hesitate a bit, heartbeat suddenly much louder in your head when you try and muster all the courage inside you to lightly poke his shoulder— except he doesn’t seem to notice that either.
There’s a moment of silence that feels much longer in your head before you’re suddenly jolting back when the sound of his gasp reaches you. “I love this song!” You hear him say to himself before he starts humming a cheerful tune, head nodding up and down as he goes back to work, rummaging through the box in front of him.
He hasn’t even acknowledged you yet, and you already felt like you were a bother. A part of you wishes you had just begged your boss for clearer instructions earlier, but it was too late for that now.
“Excuse me…” You try and raise your voice and jab your finger a little harder into his shoulder this time, and he finally gasps. Loudly. The sound of his voice has you stumbling back a couple steps, the back of your hand flying to cover your mouth, and you feel no different from a deer caught in headlights.
“Eh?!” He’s jerking upright before he turns to look at you, and you’re frozen in place. “You scared me! How long have you been there?” He starts laughing, “You’d do pretty good in a ghost movie, huh? What a skill to have.”
Your first thought is that his eyes look kind.
Your second thought was that your day wasn’t as unlucky as you thought. Umemiya Hajime— you later learned that this was his name— was more than happy to lead you to your table while going over what the other ticketing hires usually did for shifts like these.
It sounded simple enough in your head. Just point your scanner at the tickets and welcome the visitors, right?
He stays by your side the entire time, and you’re too focused on making sure your voice comes out loud enough that you miss the way his eyes soften each time you greet a visitor, lips tugging into a small smile. You were just way too cute like that.
The shift seems to fly by once you get the hang of the angle you need to point the scanner at, and you start catching onto just how many times the two of you seemed to make eye contact within the last few minutes. Each one has your cheeks heating up a little more than the last, and you’re sure he notices from the way his eyes linger on you even after you turn away.
You reach your breaking point when your scanner flashes red at the last guest, “error!” displayed across the entire screen, and you can practically feel the sweat forming on your temples. Why wouldn’t this one read?
Of course it was the last guest in line too.
Your mind starts to race as you stand up to get a better look their ticket, the person in front of you furrowing their eyes a bit at your obvious confusion. You’re only a second away from mumbling a string of apologies before you feel Umemiya’s chest suddenly press against your back, strong hands caging you against the table as he takes a look at his ticket for you.
If you weren’t feeling hot before, you were now.
“Ah! You’re showing the receipt, sir. There’s a second ticket you have with the scannable part.”
He laughs when the guest starts chuckling sheepishly, but he doesn’t miss the way you awkwardly chuckle and fiddle with the device. It’s okay, he thinks, you wouldn’t have known that on your first shift anyway.
You stiffen as soon as you feel his hand wrapping over the one you’re using to hold the scanner, easily enveloping your own as he raises it up to try again, and you briefly wonder if the darkness in the room is enough to hide the expression you’ve got on your face.
The remaining bit of your shift goes smoothly at least, minus the way you’ve been doing everything in your power to avoid making eye contact with Umemiya again. You can feel him still smiling at you, probably oblivious to the events of earlier, and that makes it even worse.
“We should watch the planetarium show together!”
The way you immediately perk up is enough of an answer for him. “Mhm,” He’s answering the question that pops up in your head, “They’ll let us. Though… they usually want you to stay here a few minutes into the show to wait for the latecomers.”
The way your lips puff out into a pout is just too cute.
“Don’t worry— hey, don’t frown like that. I was planning on saving you a seat, so look for me when you come in, okay? I have white hair!” He points to his head with a big grin.
“…I know you have white hair.” You plop back into your seat with a huff, turning away from him to hide the heat flooding back into your cheeks. His smile just.. does that to you. Watching an entire show beside him seemed a little too good to be true too.
Maybe you did feel a little giddy about it.
Your eyes widen as soon as you feel his hand land on your head, patting you a couple of times with a loud laugh and a “See you there, yeah?” before he leaves you all alone in the lobby, your ears smoking with heat and heart now thumping loudly against your ribcage.

Have you talked about your planetarium show? You mentioned it in the tags and it sounds extremely cool!!
I've occasionally mentioned it, I think, but never much in detail. I do planetarium shows for field trips and public shows, so I adjust the topics and content based on age group. In almost every age group, I throw in a section about black holes because of COURSE everyone wants to hear about black holes, they're rad! I usually tell the audience about kip Thorne's work on Interstellar, show them gravitational lensing, explain about accretion disks, then show them a black hole simulation to combine the two. Every time I say "you're not looking at the top and bottom of a black hole here. That's the back of the disk. You're seeing the front and back of this disk at the same time" they lose their MINDS it's hilarious
Second favorite thing is when I mention why accretion disks glow, I explain that all the material rubbing against each other very fast causes a lot of friction, and I say "and if you've ever rubbed your hands together to warm them up on a cold day, you know that friction causes heat" and every single time, I hear about 80 little hands rubbing together lmao

ufo mapping + astrolabing: plasmoids, drones, etc
an astrophysics + astronomy applied project. we are plotting the latitudes and longitudes of recent UFO sightings. we will extrapolate the data to recognize geo-celestial patterns, that may inform us about interstellar intelligence.
UAP Sightings Map from National UFO Reporting Center in Davenport, Washington USA.
Gather latitudes and longitudes. ~ "Have you reported it to NUFORC yet?" You definitely should, asap, and send them the media evidence and additional information. Follow the link above. ~ People often get anxious with paranormal/abnormal activity, so be open-minded and patient with people. Also take into serious consideration and empathy, that if they saw some gnarly sh*t while they were genuinely just minding their business, that is a live changing and mind-altering experience. So, we do take things seriously (yet), and with a grain of consciousness and salt. ;) ~ I suppose that's where we step in and gather those stray posts. Not only will it help connect us with other Starseeds and Chosen ones, but its a peer support service that can very well help people not lose their minds, by normalizing something very abnormal. By the simple fact of "there are people out there that don't think you're too crazy or eccentric to listen to". Just be as clear as you possibly can, and be honest!... ~ If for whatever reason the sighting cannot be reported, or is not yet filed with NUFORC, (a) drop a pin via Google Maps, and copy and paste coordinates into an email addressed to [email protected], or a threads social media post to @apollo_soley; (b) If you have EXTREMELY gnarly additional information, that is perhaps too "woo woo", eccentric, or "too spiritualist" for mainstream, and also including your own divination and scrying that you would like to keep insulated and private: drop pin via Coordinates app by Mapnitude Company Limited, save and label, and share with us!
Plug lat+long into Planetarium. (a) Using Dominic Ford's In-the-sky.org we have an amazing tool to observe the stars and celestial around the given coordinates of latitude and longitude. (b) This same portal gives us an EXTREMELY important tool, the Live World Map of Satellite Positions. This is so important in distinguishing our plotted UFOs *from* already accounted for spacecraft. Granted, we as regular civilians who are not government level officials, can only see BUT so much. However, this project will attempt to gather and streamline as much verified, valid evidence as possible, to establish record of potential supernatural phenomena. So exciting ^_^
Distinguish UFO from Satellite, Drone, and/or commercial aircraft. This will be a tough task, considering that we are starting from scratch, as astrophysics enthusiasts who are hella online, and inspired creatives on our Spiritual Ascension journey....
data mapping method inspired by: https://flo.uri.sh/visualisation/20876745/embed
article that inspired project: > https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-14210747/Interactive-map-reveals-drone-sightings-new-jersey-texas.html > https://www.coasttocoastam.com/article/interactive-map-shows-alarming-trend-in-drone-sightings-across-the-us/
along with a lot of threads fyp + tl surfing.
email me [email protected] with lat's and long's of ufo sightings, along with links and attachments of all relevant proof of said ufo sighting. this is a global project. yet, as i am based in the USA, a lot of the content will likely skew this way, but don't let that barricade interests, collabs, and reportings. it is important for the world to unite and ascend to 5D, and verily beyond. im stoked to hear from you and travel with you, starseed ^_^

I had an idea for an Oc from BNHA (Thirteen's adopted son), he will have a quirk, in which he absorbs the light of the moon, and he can use it to make constructs (mainly weapons), made with the energy of the moon, and use for other means (such as flying or jumping as if he were in lunar gravity), use attacks based on the energy of the moon. His quirk would be a little weak during the day, but during times of a full moon, the quirk would be stronger. I also thought about him, for example, he would camouflage himself with the moonlight (for example, when the moon is in New Moon 🌑, it uses the energy of the moon to camouflage itself and become completely dark(For 30 minutes, he training can achieve more) with means of camouflaging itself. And with the full moon 🌕, and other phases, He becomes bright, and can use his own glow as bioluminescence to help others. His attacks would be Moonlight (Like Starlight from The Boys), and his eyes glow as he uses his power, and his eyes also glow in the dark, along with his veins too. His main weakness is when there is no moon (because his attacks become weak), and also, he gets dizzy if he uses lunar gravity on himself for too long, and he can also have bleeding in his nose due to overuse. When he is under stress, his quirk awakens, making his entire body shine, and making him stronger, faster and more agile, He is childhood friends with Tokoyami, Mei and Shinsou.
About his romantic partner, I thought of Mei Hatsume, because they are childhood friends, and he is shy and Mei has a more cheerful personality, and she thinks he is cute and a gentleman, even though he is shy, Shinsou thinks my Oc is a valuable friend, and would never use his quirk (only in emergencies), the only ones he doesn't get along with at UA are Bakugou, Monoma and Mineta, he took the entrance exam like other students, because Aizawa (his godfather), even though Anan (Thirteen) asked for a recommendation, he said he would have to take an entrance exam and a test in order to pass.Just like Anan, he loves astronomy, and he has hyperfocus when talking about it (he has ADHD and level 1 autism), he has difficulty in communication and going out, he prefers to isolate himself, but if it's a night with a moon and stars, he decides to go out. Just like his godfather, he likes cats. His favorite outing (along with his mother Anan, who she took him to when he was a child), he loves going to the planetarium, He loves watching the moon landing over and over again, and has even memorized Neil Armstrong's lines, His favorite movie is Interstellar, because of the soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, and also because of the space theme. His favorite moon in the entire solar system is the moon Ganymede, Midnight is his "Second mother" XD.
(Anan in this au will be 37 years old, while Aizawa, Mic and Midnight will be 39 years old). His hero costume would be inspired by astronaut costumes, but from science fiction (inspired by the style of The Martian).
My Oc, he loves Moon Cake, He has a telescope, he got it from Anan when he was just 8 years old, he was rescued by Anan when he was 3 years old, and was adopted when he was 5 years old, his biological parents died in the accident that he was rescued. Anan, upon discovering that her son had a quirk related to the Moon, began teaching him about the universe from an early age, and she calls him My little piece of the moon, and my eclipse.

One Mikey × Starsick hot n ready! I hope you enjoy and you feel better!
-📝 nonnie
---
Michelangelo had everything planned out to a T.
The youngest was going all out. He had a very nice human disguise all ready to go, a fun jacket and shirt, baggy cargo pants with straps here and there, some old high tops, and a sunset toned beanie. He was going to take you to the museum of natural history during a slow day with no big fancy shows to bring a sudden influx of humans who might discover him, so he could focus on hanging out with you. The museum had a section with a planetarium, something he knew you'd love.
He'd get you something from the gift shop. He looked online, and had several plushy ideas, but goal 1 would be the astronaut.
Mikey then had a reservation at Run of the Mill Pizza for after your trip to the natural history museum so there was a guaranteed table. He made sure to expressly tell Hueso that this was a date, and to please for the love of everything keep his brothers out while you were both there. Not that he didn't love his brothers! No, he loved them all deeply.
He just knew they'd want to spy and pry and mess with him on his date.
The two of you would have a delightful night either eating regular OR exotic pizzas, whichever you would be up for. Then, when you both were full and lazy, he would take you back to your apartment and you would cuddle up watching old sci-fi or space adjacent movies and shows. He had the full season of Stargate S-G1, The Little Prince, Passengers, and even Event Horizon, all thanks to his craftiest brother hooking him up. Each a different flavour of the stars for whatever you might have been craving.
(He almost got Interstellar, but Donatello steered him VEHEMENTLY away from that choice, decidedly declaring it Not Great.)
Now, this wasn't the first time you hung out together- far, FAR from it. But, it would be the first Specifically Romantic Date you both had, the two of you testing the waters to see if you could handle the jump from Friends to More Than. He had asked you honestly last week if you would go, making his feelings abundantly clear, and you seemed shy but excited at the prospect. If he didn't know any better, Michelangelo would think that maybe you harboured some feelings for him.
…Wait.
His brain malfunctioned briefly, face hot at the idea that maybe, just maybe, you really really liked him back. Should he ask you?
…He would wait for now.
Regardless! He had this date planned exceptionally well!! He had everything in order, and a little earlier than he thought you would on Date Night, you texted him.
His brothers were all nearby to give moral support before he went out, Leo reminding him to just relax, Raphael instructing him to use his finest manners, as if he wouldn't! …But he was glad he was reminded about opening doors and pulling out chairs and keeping his elbows off tables. Donatello had of course been the one to provide him with his watching material, claiming he asked "a friend" for some good recommendations, but the softshell also gave him his free spending money for the date.
(...For a cost. He DID have to help with some minor testing in the lab for it. Fish would apparently STILL taste like creamed corn for the next 2 days.)
His brothers all watched as their youngest pulled out his phone, eager for his first date with you to go well.
They also watched as their little brother's face fell, a look of dejection and worry replacing the excitement that was just there.
"Uh oh. What's wrong Miguel? What happened??"
Mikey swallowed nervously, pocketing the phone. "They uh. They're sick. And cancelled."
The den went quiet for all of 5 seconds before erupting in shock and anger.
"What!! No way, this is too last minute. What did it say exactly?!"
Mikey felt his eyes spin as Donatello shook him. "Uh. It said 'Hey, I'm sorry, I'm going to have to cancel. I have a cold.' Those words exactly."
Donnie's face creased in worry as his mind whirled. Raph stepped up next, arm slinging around the youngest. "Now, it's okay. You can always reschedule! It'll be alright lil bro."
"Are we sure they're sick?"
Warm tones looked over at the cool toned twins. "Whaddya mean?"
Leonardo crossed his arms and looked over at Don, the two having a similar thought cross their mind.
…Could you be flaking because you didn't want to be with their brother? Couldn't see yourself being with 'aaalll this'?
Maybe they were just a wee bit protective, but this all sounded AWFULLY convenient if you wanted to mess with the youngest.
"...I'm just saying, maybe call them, yeah?"
Mikey picked up on their mistrust and, while he wanted to scream at them that you would never…the mutant had his insecurities. Anxiously, with your contact still open, he called you.
It rang once before you answered.
"Hu'lo…?"
The four turtles winced almost audibly. Yeah, you were definitely sick, your voice was cracked and dry like the desert earth.
"Hi! Hey, are you okay? You said you were sick?"
"Mhm…" You rasped, rolling over on your back. "I think it's a cold. Hurts a lot. Sorry Mikey, I really wanted to go. I hope you didn't have big plans…"
Michelangelo's heart squeezed at how pitiful you sounded. "Well, I did-"
"-Nope!! He had no big plans at all!"
"...LeonAdo…?"
Whoops. Raphael shoved the red eared slider away. "Hey! Sorry, Mike told us you were sick and we got worried. Wanted to uh, send a care package and whatnot."
Nice save!
Even your laugh sounded weak as you chuckled at his eldest brother's mother henning. "You guys are s…sweet. Sorry. Hurts to swallow…"
Donatello stiffened. "Can you give me your symptoms?"
"Mhm. Sore throat, fever, fatigue, achey…hurts to talk and swallow…"
"Mh, you haven't coughed once…I need you to go check something. Find a mirror or use your phone camera and see if there's any red or white spots on your throat or tonsils. You'll need to open your mouth wide and stick your tongue out."
You gave an exhausted "okay" and they could hear you shuffle off away from your phone.
"Yeah they're sick, and if they're spotty, it's strep. Which means they've been taking the wrong medicine for it." Donatello sighed. "It also explains how it cropped up so quick."
Right on que, you came back stating you had blisters and spots. Suddenly, all of his brothers had their own idea of what you could need in a little get well soon package.
Donatello had a handle on medicine, making sure to get you some anesthetic throat spray and antibiotics. Even if you didn't HAVE a cough, you could cough, and it would feel utterly awful and probably make you bleed or pop…eugh. Yeah. None of that. Leonardo knew a few home remedies that Splinter made when they were little. It wouldn't be as good as the medicine, but the honey, cinnamon and lemon concoction would soothe your throat and peppermint tea would be good for you. Raph got together some stuff for a quick potato soup and crackers, as well as apple juice, worried your body might be going through feast-or-fast due to your sickness.
Mikey straightened his mask some. Sure, his brothers were giving you goodies to fight off this virus, but he had an even better plan to help you.
You jolted awake from your 3rd nap so far to something outside your landing knocking into a chair. Tiredly, you got up and shuffled to the balcony door and opened the curtain, making sure to slip a mask on before.
You blinked slowly, brain processing the sunny mutant standing on the other side. "Michelangelo…?"
"Hey hey! Doctor Mikey's in the house!" He grinned behind his own cloth mask, waving energetically.
"What about Dr. Feelings or Delicate Touch..?" you lightly joked, stepping out of his way.
The terrapin waved you off as he slipped inside, setting the duffle bag he had on your floor. "Those are more Emotional doctors. Doctor Mikey is here to help you feel better!" He gently led you to the couch and sat you down. "Now! How are you feeling?"
"Bad," you wheezed. "I keep getting heat flashes and my bones and throat just…Hurt, man."
Your friend could absolutely tell you felt miserable. Your eyes were glossy like Perceus's shield but dark as the depths Cetus swam through. Nothing like the bright sparks they normally were, cautious and curious and always for him.
You couldn't see it, but felt his frown. "That's awful…well! No matter, I should have just what you need!"
You watched the box turtle dig into the bag he brought along, pulling out Tupperware and boxes of tea before finding his prize, a bottle of tablet pills, some painkillers, and a spray bottle. "Now, nurse Donnie-"
"He will turn you into 100% water if he hears you called him nurse."
"Hush, he's tried that already. Anyways, Don says that you need to take these once a day and you can spray your throat twice every 4 hours. It'll numb it so you can ingest stuff better!"
The grateful look you gave made the butterflies in his gut kick into gear. Michelangelo passed over the three objects and watched you stiffly take the antibiotic and tylenol before using the spray. "Thank you. Let him know I appreciate it." You sighed. "Throat feels so much better…"
The mutant was elated at how quickly the medicine worked, and he went flitting about your home, albeit a bit nervously, getting more stuff gathered as he made you rest on the couch. He didn't want to be spotted by someone who wasn't supposed to see him. "Sooo…where's the fam?"
"Out." You rattled out, looking over to the window. "For a while. Mom's visiting my uncle in the hospital and helping my aunt with the niblings, and Ma's work transferred her to New Jersey for a bit."
"Wow, I think that's a hate crime."
You barked a laugh, which made you bones and brain hurt but you didn't mind. "I said the same thing…!"
"So who's taking care of you?"
You rolled your eyes, grin not leaving as you motioned to yourself in grandeur. "I'm a big kid, I can take care of myself."
Wow, that had to be the saddest thing he heard all day.
The box turtle hid his frown and went about gathering blankets, pillows, all manner of soft cozy things for you to curl into on the couch in front of the tv screen. You were watching crappy daytime television, something he was keen on fixing quickly.
"Are you hungry?"
"A bit. I've been iffy with food."
Michelangelo nodded and grabbed the container of soup from his go bag, snagging the tea and other concoctions that had been shoved in. He made you half a bowl and brewed two cups of the mint tea, bringing it out in your favorite matching mugs, setting it all before you before taking a seat in the recliner nearby.
He watched as you slipped your mask off, taking a bite of the potato soup, only to gain a puzzled look.
"You didn't make this?"
"Ah! No, it was Raphael! How could you tell?"
It didn't taste like his love. There was love, yes, but not Michelangelo's. Raph's was warm like embers, comforting and cozy like a blanket during a snowstorm. Mikey's was like a brilliant sun beam, catching cathedral windows and flashing all colours and shapes.
"Mh, you add more salt."
You got a laugh from the youngest as you kept eating, watching as he took his mask off as well to sip tea with you.
"You're gonna get siiiiick…"
"Psh, please. My immune system is great!"
"Whatever you say~"
The two of you ate and drank mildly, once in a while chatting about the other brothers and mission or laughing at whatever your cat Félicette did that was silly. It was easy, it was calm.
Guilt was eating you alive.
"I'm sorry I ruined our date…"
Mikey looked over, the string he held forgotten as Félicette pounced on it and tore off down the hall with her kill. "What?"
"Our date. I uh…Heh, I kinda really messed…everything up, huh…?"
Mikey frowned. "No, you didn't. You can't control that. You can't control, like, getting sick."
You sighed, staring into your tea.
"...Would you be mad if I had been the one getting sick?"
"What?"
"If I had gotten sick, and cancelled, would you be mad?"
"No…?"
"Then why should I be mad?"
You opened your mouth once, twice, before sighing and looking away.
Your ninja friend got up, mask slipped back on and moved to the bag. He then grabbed one of the movies and threw it on. However, instead of going back to the recliner, he plopped on the couch next to you.
"I'm not mad you're sick. Promise. Now! Have you seen Event Horizon? Don says it's good."
You smiled a bit, leaning your head on the terrapin's shoulder. This was easy. Familiar.
You loved this.
What you DIDN'T love was your nerves eating away at you. He had to have planned something, right? Leo said it was nothing, but…
Your artist…datemate? Boyfriend? Currently just a friend but testing the waters for more? Anyways, he was drawn into the horror movie quite easily, his eyes drawn to every little detail and hint about what was to come. He seemed to be really enjoying it, despite him clinging to you with every stressful scene.
"...So, uh. What did you have planned?"
"Mh?"
"The date." You looked down at your half full tea, now gone cold. "You uh…you had plans. What were they?"
"Well, I was…Uh, gonna take you to get pizza. Watch movies like…now, eheh."
"That's it?"
"Maybegototheplanetarium-"
You hand dragged down the side of your face. "That sounds so sweet…ugh, I'm-"
"Don't…!"
"But I am! I'm sorry! I feel awful knowing you had something nice planned and I ruined it!"
Orange turned to face you directly, making you shrink back a bit. "You did. Not. Ruin. It. We can go some other time! Look, we're having our date now!"
"But-"
Three fingered hands gently grabbed your own, mask covered eyes boring into yours as his obscured mouth continued.
"Why do you think I should be mad at you? Why is it okay for me to be sick and cancel, but you have to hold yourself to a much higher, much more unfair standard?"
Your standards for yourself seemed to reach the stars themself, dooming you as a cosmonaut to burn alive before reaching them.
"Because you deserve someone who doesn't mess up the first date!!"
(You deserve better than me. I'm not the best and you deserve perfection.)
Angrily, Michelangelo ripped his medical mask off and yanked yours down, pulling you into a bruising, emotional kiss. He pulled away after a moment, huffing angrily at you.
No…not anger. Frustration. Frustration that you don't treat yourself like you treat others- with care and understanding.
"Y…Mikey, you're going to get sick..!"
He kissed you again, before peppering your cheeks with more.
"There. We both messed up."
Your very, very warm face screwed in confusion. But he could see curiosity spark in your eyes.
"What? No, you didn't, that was- Mikey, you're a really good ki- no, I mean, didn't even get a chance to kiss- YOU'RE GOING TO GET SICK!!" Flustered, you quickly pulled your mask back up.
"First off, my immune system is great, so if I do, then there's no way you WOULDN'T have gotten sick."
"Michelangelo…"
"And two! You're not supposed to kiss on the first date. So I messed it up pretty bad, probably as bad as getting sick."
You opened your mouth to deny that he did so, tell him he didn't ruin the date, but if you did, you'd be admitting that your sickness didn't ruin it either.
The youngest could see when his ruse clicked, your eyes brightening like Polaris and Andromeda were held in them. He had you caught, and as you rolled your eyes, he knew you couldn't help smiling.
"Okay, okay, sorry-"
"You…!"
"For being hard on myself!!"
Michelangelo grinned brightly, his joy warming you like a red dwarf star.
"I think you should apologize to yourself. And try to be more fair, okay?"
The mutant's eyes widened as you pulled your mask back down and kissed him sweetly. "Okay. Have to say, pretty good for a bad first date."
You held the backpack tightly, filled to the brim with goodies and soups and movies galore.
You WERE supposed to be going on your second date with your favorite turtle, buuuut…
"See! I told you I wouldn't get sick!"
You couldn't help the unimpressed look as you stared at Raphael, who sheepishly waved while sipping some water before wincing. Donnie was passed out on the couch, apparently too fatigued to make it to his room. Leo was spraying disinfectant cleaner all over himself, not wanting you to re-catch your strep throat. Splinter holed himself up in his room after shotgunning what you were positive was pure honey and lemon juice.
"Yeah, but you spread it to literally everyone else in the lair." Sighing fretfully, you put a mask on. "Come on, Doctor Mikey. I'll heat up the veggie soup if you start on getting them all some medicine."
"Roger that, Doctor Datemate!" he beamed.
🧡
Doctor Datemate and Nurse Donnie, lmao 🤣 We can tell who he's trying to actually get along with 💕
Just. Love how the rest of the turtles send things with Mikey to help you ^-^

closed starter || @akiss-from-a-rose at Interstellar Planetarium.
With unparalleled commitment, Gia spent the entirety of October searching for Meena. The subject that consumed her every thought, only to find the missing werewolf first. Amid the chaos, she'd forgotten all about Halloween. Which made the news that she'd won dinner from the Hideway at Interstellar Planetarium for her house decorations ironically amusing.
There were a few names that came to mind when considering her potential guests for the evening. At first, Gia contemplated forfeiting the experience to Meena entirely. After all she'd been through she deserved the treat, but given her still weak, physical state Gia decided against it. Instead, choosing to use her prize as a pawn.
It was quite the romantic scene. Dazzling constellations above and a spread akin to a feast before them. An arrangement not without Gia's touch. She'd requested, rather demanded, a few accommodations. Wine of her choosing, lots of wine, a large and decadent array of desserts, and blood. Her personal favorite, AB+, bottled on ice. Even with ulterior motives, it was impossible not to enjoy herself, the food, and the views; both above and sitting directly across from her.
"Thank you for accompanying me tonight, Aaliyah." It was imperative, Gia thought, to know exactly who advised Meena and the clan. A clan she'd been apart of for nearing two centuries. They'd suffered at the hands of incompetent leadership in the past, and Gia considered it a personal responsibility to ensure that would never happen again. She didn't expect an honest liar just to divulge the truth, so she would schmooze and booze her way to answers. With another, undisclosed, trick or two to understanding with whom she dined, Gia proceeded with confidence. "Te ves hermosa." (You look beautiful)

First interstellar comet may be the most pristine ever found
New observations with the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope (ESO’s VLT) indicate that the rogue comet 2I/Borisov, which is only the second and most recently detected interstellar visitor to our Solar System, is one of the most pristine ever observed. Astronomers suspect that the comet most likely never passed close to a star, making it an undisturbed relic of the cloud of gas and dust it formed from.
2I/Borisov was discovered by amateur astronomer Gennady Borisov in August 2019 and was confirmed to have come from beyond the Solar System a few weeks later. “2I/Borisov could represent the first truly pristine comet ever observed,” says Stefano Bagnulo of the Armagh Observatory and Planetarium, Northern Ireland, UK, who led the new study published today in Nature Communications. The team believes that the comet had never passed close to any star before it flew by the Sun in 2019.
Bagnulo and his colleagues used the FORS2 instrument on ESO's VLT, located in northern Chile, to study 2I/Borisov in detail using a technique called polarimetry [1]. Since this technique is regularly used to study comets and other small bodies of our Solar System, this allowed the team to compare the interstellar visitor with our local comets.
The team found that 2I/Borisov has polarimetric properties distinct from those of Solar System comets, with the exception of Hale–Bopp. Comet Hale–Bopp received much public interest in the late 1990s as a result of being easily visible to the naked eye, and also because it was one of the most pristine comets astronomers had ever seen. Prior to its most recent passage, Hale–Bopp is thought to have passed by our Sun only once and had therefore barely been affected by solar wind and radiation. This means it was pristine, having a composition very similar to that of the cloud of gas and dust it — and the rest of the Solar System — formed from some 4.5 billion years ago.
By analysing the polarisation together with the colour of the comet to gather clues on its composition, the team concluded that 2I/Borisov is in fact even more pristine than Hale–Bopp. This means it carries untarnished signatures of the cloud of gas and dust it formed from.
“The fact that the two comets are remarkably similar suggests that the environment in which 2I/Borisov originated is not so different in composition from the environment in the early Solar System,” says Alberto Cellino, a co-author of the study, from the Astrophysical Observatory of Torino, National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF), Italy.
Olivier Hainaut, an astronomer at ESO in Germany who studies comets and other near-Earth objects but was not involved in this new study, agrees. “The main result — that 2I/Borisov is not like any other comet except Hale–Bopp — is very strong,” he says, adding that “it is very plausible they formed in very similar conditions.”
“The arrival of 2I/Borisov from interstellar space represented the first opportunity to study the composition of a comet from another planetary system and check if the material that comes from this comet is somehow different from our native variety,” explains Ludmilla Kolokolova, of the University of Maryland in the US, who was involved in the Nature Communications research.
Bagnulo hopes astronomers will have another, even better, opportunity to study a rogue comet in detail before the end of the decade. “ESA is planning to launch Comet Interceptor in 2029, which will have the capability of reaching another visiting interstellar object, if one on a suitable trajectory is discovered,” he says, referring to an upcoming mission by the European Space Agency.
An origin story hidden in the dust
Even without a space mission, astronomers can use Earth’s many telescopes to gain insight into the different properties of rogue comets like 2I/Borisov. “Imagine how lucky we were that a comet from a system light-years away simply took a trip to our doorstep by chance,” says Bin Yang, an astronomer at ESO in Chile, who also took advantage of 2I/Borisov’s passage through our Solar System to study this mysterious comet. Her team’s results are published in Nature Astronomy.
Yang and her team used data from the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), in which ESO is a partner, as well as from ESO’s VLT, to study 2I/Borisov’s dust grains to gather clues about the comet’s birth and conditions in its home system.
They discovered that 2I/Borisov’s coma — an envelope of dust surrounding the main body of the comet — contains compact pebbles, grains about one millimetre in size or larger. In addition, they found that the relative amounts of carbon monoxide and water in the comet changed drastically as it neared the Sun. The team, which also includes Olivier Hainaut, says this indicates that the comet is made up of materials that formed in different places in its planetary system.
The observations by Yang and her team suggest that matter in 2I/Borisov’s planetary home was mixed from near its star to further out, perhaps because of the existence of giant planets, whose strong gravity stirs material in the system. Astronomers believe that a similar process occurred early in the life of our Solar System.
While 2I/Borisov was the first rogue comet to pass by the Sun, it was not the first interstellar visitor. The first interstellar object to have been observed passing by our Solar System was ʻOumuamua, another object studied with ESO’s VLT back in 2017. Originally classified as a comet, ʻOumuamua was later reclassified as an asteroid as it lacked a coma.

Title: Days of You and Me Pairing: Belphegor x MC Rating: T Summary: Belphie and MC have their planetarium “date”. Occurs between On the Way to a “Yes” and Fear and Loving in Devildom. Notes: Title comes from “Future Days” by Pearl Jam, which gives me feels because TLOU2 but also is SUCH a good demon bro x mc song. I like it for Belphie and MC personally. I listened to this cosmos aesthetic music while writing to get into the ~planetarium~ mood.
Tumblr media
The sky above was awash in brilliant red. Puffs of astral stars hung in the air like smoke and clouds of endless shades of orange and pink, falling seamlessly into blues and purples in a thousand different shades. Stars glistened, tiny pinpricks of heat and fire like the lights of boats out on the sea.
The projector hummed faintly, the nebula shifting and displaying a black sky, dotted with familiar stars and planets.
“Oh… that’s my hometown’s sky in summer.” She said quietly, lifting up her hands towards the ceiling as if she could reach out and hold the stars in the palm of her hand. Belphegor hummed, adjusting slightly in their nest of pillows. She sat up a bit so he could do so and then quickly lay back against his chest.
She was between his legs, back flush against his chest and her head resting comfortably on his shoulder as she tilted her face up towards the planetarium’s ceiling. The “nest” was aptly described as the pair had commandeered every throw pillow, couch cushion or soft blanket they could get their hands on. It was exceedingly comfortable, a perfect cozy retreat.
“Here, give me your hand…” she said suddenly.
Belphegor offered his right hand over without complaint, letting her place her own onto of it as she guided it upwards.
“Hold out your finger— yep.” Slowly she traced several points, guiding his hand and his eye to trace constellations out against the artificial sky.
“That’s Pegasus and that there— that is the Andromeda galaxy. And right over here is Cassiopeia…and wayyy back behind us is Orion and Gemini too.”
Belphegor barely had his eyes open enough to properly see the stars, but he was tuned in to her voice… to her warmth. It was impossible to keep alert when all his senses were filled to the brim with her. He could smell her perfume, faint and floral against the strands of her hair and feel the gentle rise and fall of her breathing in time with his own. She said something else about the constellations and he mumbled a non-response before turning his cheek against her head and rubbing contently.
The projector had changed again, lights vibrant behind his half closed lids. Above them was another nebula, beautiful shades of vivid red and blue splashed out in opposing half circles from a centermost point… like wings of interstellar dust extended into the night.
“Belphie? Are you listening?” Her voice, soft and quiet in his foremost consciousness, still took some time to draw a muffled affirmation from him.
“Oh look! It’s the Pillars of Creation now…”
“…looks like three dic—“
An elbow found its way into his ribs, not sharp, but with enough pressure that he got the hint and let his words fell into a chuckle.
“Never knew you were such a cosmonaut.” Belphegor said, voice heavy and low with sleepiness.
“I’m not really… I just like the whole planetarium vibe. It’s relaxing…but space itself is kinda scary if I think about it too much.”
“Hm? How so?”
“It… just goes on and on. I don’t know how to even make sense of something just… never ending.”
“We make sense though.” Belphegor said suddenly.
She turned to look at him, twisting in his arms, “You mean people? Like civilization or somethin’?”
“No, I mean us.”
“Eh?”
“… well. I won’t ever die. And I won’t ever not care about you. So… it’s the same concept.”
In his head, the words had sounded so simple and factual…. but now, the look she was giving him made Belphegor suddenly feel shy, his cheeks threatening to heat up even as he scoffed and furrowed his brows.
“What? What’s with that look? It’s just the truth.”
“Yeah… yeah, that helps.” She said, her eyes falling downward as she smiled softly to herself and seemed to get lost in her own thoughts again. She settled back against his chest, snuggling purposefully close as she pressed nearer. Belphegor was happy to wrap his arms around her a bit tighter, closing his eyes again as the colors that painted the insides of his eyelids changed again as the sky above shifted into another bright expanse of nebulas.
“…Belphie?”
“Mm?”
“What if I don’t want to leave you?” Her voice wavered, almost such a whisper he couldn’t make it out.
There were moments with her like this, moments where Belphegor knew his next words were— were important. Not just to her, but to him. He tried to keep such thoughts as distant as the stars, not wanting to think of a time where she would be gone… humans did not last forever and one day she would return to her old life. Her true life. And after that? Surely her spirit would go to the same place as Lilith’s… and that was not a place… that was not somewhere Belphegor felt his own would ever go.
But he didn’t say these things. Instead, he chuckled and pressed his lips to her forehead.
“As if I’d ever let you go.”
And that it seemed, was enough for now, because she turned her cheek and caught his lips with her own. Belphegor found himself being bore down into the soft cushions beneath them, her body a solid warm weight as she settled down onto him, arms wrapped around his neck and her fingers lazily twining through his hair as she kissed him again and again and again.
It was not often Belphegor was taken so off guard, but beneath her gentle yet insistent touch he could only run his palms up her back, fisting her shirt in his hands as he arched up against her. He parted his lips and moaned quietly when she slipped the tip of her tongue against his own, the kiss deepening until he felt dizzy with her… his mind as foggy and lit up as the starry nebulas above them.
They parted and Belphegor stared up at her, eyes soft and filled with an adoration that he so rarely let slip passed the icy walls years of grief and anger had built up behind his eyes. Every moment with her was changing him, every second of her was a gift… a second chance. How could he have ever been expected not to love her? If destiny existed, it was there in her eyes and Belphegor would have it, his past and his sins be damned. He had found her and he would have her for as long as he could. For a moment, his eyes flicked past her, looking up at the ceiling before he smirked.
“What is it?” She whispered.
His grin was devilish as he smirked, “You got me ‘seeing stars’.”
Her exasperated groan pulled the most delighted, mischievous laughter from his lips.

hi! i have more instrumental music recs for the playlist, no thoughts just vibez <3 ✌️🤩personally, i enjoy playlists with regular songs and instrumental songs, makes it feel like a movie hihi :’) i tried to include varying types of styles/sounds in the list, so some are more sad, romantic, or something else. also don’t judge the songs by the titles or which movie they’re from bc it ruins the imagination to make the song fit with the story😑 just have a listen and if it sounds like ircrlr then add them or don’t :)
air - “highschool lover” (from the virgin suicides)
jon brion - “reconcile” (from lady bird)
robin guthrie - “some sort of paradise”
