Incoming Text for Tracey Edmonds & Salma Hayek-Pinault: The cost to build is $1.5 billion.
Hey, Tracey & Salma!
This is your future Palace in Mexico, you'll build Burj Khalifa in Mexico.
I have a great idea for you. Imagine what you could do with one billion dollars? My suggestion: Build a luxurious skyscraper like the Burj Khalifa in Mexico.
This is an investment opportunity I strongly encourage you to consider for your first billion dollars.
The construction cost of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is estimated to be around $1.5 billion USD. However, this figure doesn't include additional expenses such as infrastructure development, land acquisition, and interior fittings, which could bring the total cost closer to $2 billion USD or more. The exact cost can vary depending on factors such as labor, materials, engineering challenges, and architectural design complexity.
Here is the wiki page, see link below:
Here's a detailed explanation of what could be inside this luxurious building, along with encouragement to build it in the Los Cabos municipality:
Inside this luxurious skyscraper in the Los Cabos municipality, you can envision a world-class architectural marvel that offers a blend of opulence, functionality, and innovation. Here's a glimpse of what could be housed within its gleaming walls:
Luxurious Residences: The skyscraper could boast an array of high-end residential units, ranging from lavish penthouses with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean to spacious condominiums adorned with state-of-the-art amenities.
Five-Star Hotel: A premium hotel within the building could cater to discerning guests seeking unparalleled comfort and sophistication. Elegant suites, gourmet dining options, rejuvenating spa facilities, and personalized concierge services would ensure an unforgettable stay.
Exclusive Retail Spaces: Upscale retail outlets and boutiques could occupy the lower levels, offering a curated selection of luxury brands, designer fashion, fine jewelry, and bespoke services, providing an unparalleled shopping experience for residents and visitors alike.
Fine Dining Restaurants: The skyscraper could house a collection of world-class restaurants and cafes, each offering exquisite culinary creations prepared by renowned chefs. From fine dining establishments serving gourmet cuisine to trendy rooftop bars with stunning views, there would be something to satisfy every palate.
Entertainment Complex: A dedicated entertainment complex could feature a theater, art galleries, concert halls, and event spaces, showcasing cultural performances, live music, and exhibitions from around the world, enriching the cultural landscape of Los Cabos.
Wellness Center: An exclusive wellness center and spa could provide a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation, offering indulgent treatments, fitness facilities, yoga studios, and holistic therapies overlooking the serene coastline, promoting holistic well-being for residents and guests.
Business and Conference Facilities: Cutting-edge business and conference facilities could cater to corporate clients and entrepreneurs, equipped with modern technology, meeting rooms, and executive suites, fostering collaboration and innovation in a prestigious setting.
Sky Gardens and Observation Decks: Sky gardens and observation decks situated at strategic intervals throughout the skyscraper could offer breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the cityscape of Los Cabos, and the surrounding natural beauty, providing serene retreats for contemplation and relaxation.
Encouraging the construction of such a magnificent structure in the Los Cabos municipality would not only elevate the city's skyline but also position it as a premier destination for luxury living, leisure, and business. The combination of unparalleled amenities, breathtaking views, and a vibrant coastal lifestyle would undoubtedly attract discerning residents, affluent travelers, and global investors, cementing Los Cabos' reputation as a world-class destination for indulgence and sophistication.

Advantages Provided by Private Transportation Companies
If you are going in a different city for a business trip, or to mix business with some pleasure, you can think about hiring private transportation in that city. In doing so, you get some obvious advantages. Catering Services in Los Cabos
Generally, corporate transportation makes use of glamorous vehicles - such as limousines. Certainly, riding in a stretch limo to a business meeting is one of the most effective ways to let other people know about your social, financial and hierarchical power in the organization. Professional Chefs
Hiring corporate transportation lets you use world class cars based on a contract. Therefore, you just have to pay for the service only when it is needed, and you can use it as frequently as you like. When you would rather spend time in the car to discuss business plans and close deals, corporate transportation provides you with the comfort and posh interior that you are accustomed with at your office. Cabo Private Chef
When you go around a new city, you need to be aware of the interior of the city. You need to be a little bit familiar with the rules and routes. If this is your first time to visit the place or do not have time to learn more about these unnecessary details, the best thing to do is search for private transportation.
Reputable service providers always ensure that you get to your place on time. To make this possible, they hire the best drivers in the industry. It is not sufficient that the driver knows how to run the car, he must be exceptionally familiar with the roads and distances from one destination to another. When he meets this qualification, he will be able to bring his client/s to the designated place on time. Therefore, dependable drivers are the bread and butter of this kind of service. Private Chef Cabo San Lucas
Private transportation services ensure that you get the best chauffeur to accompany you and to look after your comfort when you are on the road. If you or your organization need only the best services, getting the most reliable service provider will give you the best value for your money.

20 of the world’s best boutique hotels with standalone rooms
As travel begins to become possible again, yet with social distancing still front of mind, heading to a hotel might feel less daunting for some if there is the option of standalone accommodation. From private villas to idyllic country cottages, these are the best places to go to feel a world away from everything (and everyone) else – limited contact with other guests, but with all the bells and whistles of boutique hotel luxury service and facilities.
Country House Havens
Rose Cottage at Dormy House Hotel, the Cotswolds – UK
A traditional Cotswold cottage with its own private courtyard and hot tub, Rose Cottage at 17th-century farmhouse Dormy House is the perfect countryside retreat for couples (and their well-behaved pooch!) An independent single storey cottage set in the rural grounds of the Farncombe Estate, Rose Cottage sleeps two guests in a King size bed beneath exposed timbers and fabulously floral interiors.
Treehouses, Hilly & Hideaway Huts at The Fish Hotel, the Cotswolds – UK
Also set within the 400-acre Farncombe Estate is The Fish Hotel, a village-style collection of houses, huts and hideaways made for laid-back luxury breaks. Nestled into the hillside of this back to nature bolthole are the most charming luxury cabins, complete with underfloor heating, en-suite bathrooms (some with free-standing bathtubs), and cosy lounge areas beside a wood burner.
If you want to push the boat out, Boaty McBoatface comes with its very own paddle boat for you to relax on whilst floating around your own private lake, or pop across to your private island complete with decking and comfortable seating.
For more of an arboreal retreat, enjoy the hotel’s woodland setting from up close (and up high!) in three Treehouse suites – wrapped around large Oak trees with two heated outdoor baths on a spacious decking area.

Private Villas at Domaine de Manville, Les Baux de Provence – France
Nestled in the valley beneath Les Baux, one of the loveliest hilltop medieval villages in France, Domaine de Manville sits in a vast 100-acre estate. Originally a working farm, it is now a stylish hotel surrounded by olive trees, scented wild herbs and lush green fields. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and have poolside views, including their nine luxury villas. From the three-bedroom Luxury and Prestige Villas which sleep up to seven people, to the four-bedroom Deluxe Villa which accommodates up to nine guests, each of the villas boasts spacious interiors which open out onto large private terraces.
Private Garden Villa at San Canzian Village & Hotel, Buje – Croatia
Perched up on the Croatian peninsula near Buje in the medieval village of Mužolini Donji, the two-storey villa at San Canzian Village & Hotel is surrounded by shady olive groves, its own private garden and outdoor pool, and the celebrated vineyards of San Canzian.

Elite Spring Villas, Anxi – China
A collection of Zen infused villas beside natural hot springs in China’s tea capital, Elite Spring Villas is an exclusive resort celebrating historic Chinese culture. Stroll along pathways between gently bubbling fountains to your private villa. Each offers a contemporary take on authentic Chinese design, with atmospheric touches such as calming sandalwood incense. Expect spacious living and sleeping areas, and luxury hot tubs in some villas.
ABBA Resorts Izu, Shizuoka – Japan
A serene forest dwelling in Japanese inn style, ABBA Resorts Izu is a spacious yet intimate retreat offering guests multiple private villa options, featuring open-air onsen baths, soothing water features, and tranquil gardens. Take a dip in your heated private pool with water bubbling up from the Ukiyama Hot Springs.

City Serenity
Casas del XVI, Santo Domingo – Dominican Republic
A city break might not be top of everyone’s list right now, but a trip to this collection of centuries-old houses guarantees culture without the crowds. Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Ciudad Colonial is the historic centre of Santo Domingo. At its heart lies Casas del XVI comprising a number of thoughtfully renovated properties dating back to the 16th century. Maintaining the houses’ original architecture, each one is individually decorated to reflect the area’s historical and cultural significance. Butler service, a pool, outdoor dining and a library are available in selected properties.

Seaside Seclusion
Eaudesea Experience Rooms at Casa Angelina, Amalfi Coast – Italy
Set in old fishermen’s houses forged into the coastline, the Eaudesea Experience Rooms blend Casa Angelina’s chic all-white aesthetic with more rustic elements, including exposed natural rock for the ultimate lesson in laid-back luxury. Separate from the main hotel building, these rooms overlook La Gavitella Beach, where you’ll find a dedicated area for Casa Angelina guests.
Sea View Villa Annex at Villa Franca, Positano – Italy
With an enviable spot amid Positano’s old streets, yet moments from the shore, this hilltop retreat overlooks the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Once a private house, Villa Franca is still run by the same family who will make you feel instantly at home. Opt for the Junior Suite or the Master Room in the villa annex for a private terrace and the best views of Positano.

Luxury Apartments and Private Villas at Smiths Beach Resort, Yallingup – Australia

Relax on your balcony and take in the stunning sea views with the high pitched calls of macaque monkeys in the background.
Mangala Resort & Spa, Kuantan – Malaysia
An eco award-winning luxury resort nestled in a tropical oasis of nature close to Kuantan, at Mangala Resort & Spa, you’ll feel like you’re immersed in timeless natural beauty. From the private villas built on stilts over the lake, to those beside lily-dotted wetlands, every inch of this resort brings guests closer to nature.

Vahine Island Resort & Spa, Tahaa – French Polynesia
Vahine Island Resort & Spa is a remote Polynesian hideaway on its own 23-acre private island with just nine beachfront and overwater bungalows hidden among coconut trees and facing a pristine blue lagoon. The most difficult choice you’ll need to make is: beachfront or overwater? To enjoy the lagoon’s abundant wildlife, there is an aquarium table in the water bungalows to watch and feed the tropical fish that swim in the water below. Beachfront bungalows have a lazy hammock on their spacious decks with fabulous views of the lagoon and nearby Bora Bora. Decisions, decisions…
Little Polynesian Resort, Rarotonga – Cook Islands
At the adults-only Little Polynesian Resort, traditional soul meets contemporary style beside a protected lagoon in Rarotonga. Barcello Puerto Vallarta Mexico All Inclusive
Barcello Puerto Vallarta located on the sandy shores of Mismaloya beach, just south of Puerto Vallarta, the all-inclusive Barceló Puerto Vallarta is surrounded by breathtaking mountains and ocean views. The resort’s 316 spacious, luxury suites all boast either a terrace or balcony from which guests can admire the luxurious vegetation, clear pools, and impressive Banderas Bay.
Featuring 316 spacious and opulent suites, all of them beautifully appointed and enjoy a partial or full ocean-view, this premium resort has thought of everything for your pleasure and luxury. you’ll feel your cares melt away as you lounge by one among the four sparkling pools overlooking Banderas Bay or sip a tropical drink one among the 2 outdoor Jacuzzis, designed for your relaxation.
Location of Barcello Puerto Vallarta
At kilometer 11.5 heading south on the winding, often potholed highway to Barra de Navidad and Manzanillo, the Barcelo Puerto Vallarta seems far far away from Old Town, which is a few 20-minute chases away (and downtown is about 10 minutes more).
The resort stands on Mismaloya Beach, which was the first “location” for the film version of Tennessee Williams’ play, “Night of the Iguana,” starring Ava Gardner and Richard Burton. Half a century after the movie was made, there are still remnants to be fond of the film’s sets, which you’ll see from many of the hotel suites. With its somewhat remote location, the resort isn’t a perfect spot if you’re the spontaneous sort who wants to begin for a drink somewhere in downtown Puerto Vallarta on the spur of the instant. But it’s very on the brink of the zoo, the ruins of the movie set, gorgeous jungle-draped hills, and therefore the snorkeling area around Los Arcos. Also, lovely Mismaloya Bay is true ahead.
Flight from NYC to Tulum Informations
Resturants in Los Cabos for your information
Rooms and Dining
The 316 suites at the Barcelo are all exceptionally spacious, and every one features a separate front room area with a settee bed. The entry-level Deluxe Suite starts at a generous 732 square feet and comes with a king-size or two double beds. Other categories include the Family Suite, main bedroom, Grand main bedroom (with a whopping 1,463 square feet), Premium Grand main bedroom (2,239 square feet), and therefore the Presidential Suite (3,714 square feet). Dark wood accents, contemporary art and furniture, and marble tile floors are standard throughout. Every room also features a balcony searching over the gardens, pools, and therefore the bay itself, though not a number of the ocean views are only partial. the highest floors are reserved for guests who upgrade to the Premium Club category, and have the simplest ocean views; views from lower floors are often obstructed by trees.
Sliding wood-framed doors cause the bathrooms, which have ample closet space, ironing boards and irons, and marble countertops. Rain showers have marble tile and glass panels, and Lavarino Cosso bath products from Italy are provided. The main bedroom adds a hydro-massage bathtub, and therefore the Family Suite comes with two bathrooms, one for every bedroom. The Grand main bedroom adds another half-bath and eating area, plus a large oceanfront terrace.
La Fuente, which opened in 2015, is that the main buffet restaurant, serving all three meals. it’s bay views and a little kids’ area. There’s also an oceanfront snack counter open for lunch. There are four a la carte options: Los Arcos (seafood and steak), Don Quijote (Spanish), Capri (Italian), and Kyoto (a sushi bar). it is a good idea to form reservations upon arrival to make sure a spot, or maybe before arrival.
There are two parts: the pool bar, and La Cantina, where live music is performed. There are not any 24-hour options aside from room service.
Features of Barcello Puerto Vallarta
The spa offers indoor treatments, also as massages on a balcony overlooking the bay. The gym, while fully equipped with cardio and weight equipment, lacks any kind of view. The kids’ club is for youngsters ages 5 to 12 and features a daily schedule of activities. In summer months, the hotel operates a program called Iguana Jones (a play on Indiana Jones), which allows kids to earn play money which will be wont to buy items within the five stores on-site.
The interior gardens and pools structure the guts of the Barcelo resort, and it’s here where guests can participate within the sort of activities, which range from athletic game to volleyball to yoga classes. There are four pools: one with a whirlpool within the center, one with a swim-up bar, one for sports (there’s a volleyball net), and a splash pool for little children. The beach is beautiful and runs the width of the resort, and fronts calm, shallow waters. But it is a narrow stretch — so narrow that the loungers are typically not on the sand itself, but rather an oceanfront sundeck. There are sometimes some loungers on the sand, counting on the tide and season. Vendors can occasionally be a nuisance.
The resort’s Premium Club offers a spread of perks like free in-room Wi-Fi, a reduction in spa services, a free tour of the town, and free 24-hour room service. On top of that, kids get a free Kinder surprise toy; other extras include a bottle of Champagne upon arrival and access to a special club lounge.

4 Ultimate Luxury Properties on Airbnb Luxe
(Bloomberg) — Gone are the days of air mattresses on the floor. Airbnb is now catering to the mega-wealthy with a new tier of luxury rentals. Airbnb Luxe went live Tuesday morning after long being teased, with 2,000 new listings on Airbnb’s website offering guests the chance to stay in some of the world’s most extravagant homes.
Everything from entire islands to medieval castles and mansions decked out with water slides, dinosaur skulls, and archery ranges are up for rent. The average luxury listing has an asking price of $14,000 a week—but can go as high as $1 million a week for a private atoll near Tahiti that comprises 21 bungalows and a staff of 50.
Read: Use These Tricks While Travelling to Protect Your Clothes
Luxury travelers have been eyeing high-quality home-rentals for a while, says Nick Guezen, Airbnb’s global director of portfolio strategy. But the market hasn’t offered enough security to high-profile and mega-rich clients who seek privacy, he says. “I think that’s something that was missing—the idea of ‘I want to travel to a luxury home, but I’m not sure where to find it or who to trust.’”
Which is not entirely the case, considering Accor SA-owned Onefinestay, the second-home rental platform ThirdHome, and apartment-rental company Paris Perfect are all established competitors in the space. And Airbnb Luxe itself is essentially a re-branding of Luxury Retreats, a Canadian company that specializes in high-quality listings and was acquired by Airbnb in 2017 for around $300 million. None of the listings on Luxe are new to market, they just now sit under the Airbnb umbrella.
Read: The World’s Best Restaurants: 2019
The company is betting on the strength of its brand to give it the competitive edge.
“People are growing up with Airbnb,” said Eshan Ponnadurai, global marketing director of luxury for Airbnb. “Someone that started in their early 20s renting a room at $100 a night and is now growing in affluence may want a room at $1,000 a night.”
Because Airbnb has become part of the cultural dialogue, renting out your home to a stranger has become legitimized in a sociological sense as well—even to the super-rich, says New York University Professor Arun Sundararajan, an expert on the sharing economy. In the past, those who own multimillion dollar properties might have been reticent to share them with strangers, but today most people know someone who has stayed in an Aribnb, he says. “It feels like a more normal activity and that lowers the barriers to rent out a more expensive home.”
In 2017, only 36 percent of affluent travelers (those with an income over $100,000) surveyed by Skift Research reported to staying in alternative accommodation or home rentals. This year that number has mushroomed to 59 percent.
Luxury Legitimacy
Since its founding in 2008, Airbnb has upended the travel industry, challenging the big hotel chains and travel sites like Booking Holdings Inc. while also attracting the ire of cities around the world that are seeking to crack down on illegal listings and grappling with rising rents.
Conquering the luxury rental market will allow Airbnb to sell itself as a company that can not only comply with official rules, but also cater to the world’s richest—and most demanding— travelers. “This is a way for a luxury traveler to book a home without any worries or hassle,” Guezen says. “We can give them something that is vetted and can be trusted.”
In April, it took over 10 floors of New York’s 75 Rockefeller Plaza with plans to convert them into 200 overnight apartment-style suites. In May, Airbnb added high-profile luxury retail executive Angela Ahrendts to its board of directors. Ahrendts, 58, spent five years overhauling Apple Inc.’s retail operations and, prior to that, transformed Burberry into a global luxury brand.
This new luxury tier represents a lucrative revenue source as well, even if Luxe’s 2,000 listings pale in proportion to the more than 6 million listings available on the general site. The company takes a percentage of the cost of each booking it arranges, so more-expensive inventory generates higher margins and helps justify the privately held company’s $31 billion valuation. Under Airbnb Luxe, the entire fee is coming from the host and the percentage depends on the market and the type of partnership arranged with homeowners, Guezen says, but declines to give any specifics as the fees vary too much between properties. The global luxury travel market is worth more than $200 billion, and analysts expect it to continue growing.
Trip Designers
The biggest difference booking under Luxe vs. Airbnb’s regular or higher-tier Plus listings is free access to a trip designer, who arranges check-in logistics, local bespoke experiences, and services from childcare to private chefs or in-house massage therapists. (While novel for Airbnb, this sort of high-touch service, similar to that provided by Onefinestay’s dedicated concierges, is standard in super-high-end home rentals.)
Airbnb’s 20 trip designers will be available to guests around-the-clock for VIP support. Some have already handled bizarre requests during Luxe’s pilot phase, such as building a temporary basketball court in Los Cabos, Mexico, for an NBA player or cordoning off a section of a jungle in Tulum for a high-profile family to cave dive in private.
Homeowners or their representatives must apply to be part of Luxe. Each property is reviewed by an internal team that runs through a 300-point check list scrutinizing everything from the home’s design qualities and architecture to the quality of its linen and the water pressure in its showers. Listings include the Fleming Villa in Jamaica where Ian Fleming penned his James Bond novels and a medieval castle in the Tuscan countryside with nearly 100 acres of land for hiking and harvesting local produce.
Many of the homes are owned by megawealthy families, including billionaires and celebrities, Guezen says. Some own multiple properties around the world and rent up to half a dozen through the site, he says. In order to protect the host’s privacy, guests are never told who owns the property and each home is stripped of anything that could personally identify them, like a bedside photograph or snail mail. Staff are advised not to disclose the identity of hosts or guests and each property is insured by Airbnb’s standard $1 million guarantee to cover any damages. Guezen says these super-rich hosts rent out their vacation retreats not only to monetize their assets, but also to ensure that the properties are well-oiled for their own stays.
The move into luxury rentals is the next step in Airbnb’s plan to diversify its business ahead of an initial public offering likely next year. The company has been working toward becoming an end-to-end travel platform that can one day help travelers book flights through the site. Earlier this month it expanded its Experiences platform to include adventure tourism, offering travelers the chance to search for UFOs in Arizona or track lions on foot with Samburu guides in Kenya.
Airbnb says the launch of Luxe helps meet increasing demand for luxury properties. In 2018, the number of Airbnb bookings for listings worth at least $1,000 a night increased by more than 60 percent, according to the company. “Today’s luxury traveler is craving more than just high-end accommodations,” Airbnb Chief Executive Officer Brian Chesky said in a statement. “They seek transformation and experiences that leave them feeling more connected to each other and to their destination.”

Solaz Los Cabos Hotel in San José del Cabo

Solaz Los Cabos Hotel San José del Cabo

Solaz Los Cabos Hotel
Design: Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos
Location: San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, México
The extraordinary natural surroundings of the peninsula of Baja California with its semi-desert landscape in shades of ocher, contrasting with the deep blue of the Sea of Cortes, provides an ideal selected context for the construction of a new landmark hotel for the country – Solaz Los Cabos Hotel.
Celebrating the integration between landscape, architecture, and art, Solaz Los Cabos covers a total area of 9.8 hectares along a section of the coast that includes unique topographical formations. The architectural concept was guided by this need for the proper integration of the construction into its surroundings, achieved through the use of organic forms that refer to the movement of the waves, producing an attractive series of volumes that are adapted to the location. The selection of materials, planting and construction methods reinforce this concept of integration and were meticulously studied to ensure they would suit this beautiful site.
The services provided by the development are designed to offer a range of accommodation and hospitality options to visitors from both Mexico and abroad. It comprises hotel, apartments, restaurants, spa, amenities, site museum, open plazas and more.
As a result of the natural steep topography of the site, which climbs from sea level towards the north, it was decided to form three large curved terraces running east-west, and to place the hotel rooms at the western end.
The circulation between these terraces is via narrow cuttings that also operate as dividing passageways with dense planting to separate the different functions, generating greater privacy.
Given the slope, each terrace rises above the other in stepped fashion, with south-facing facades meaning that all the spaces enjoy spectacular views of the sea. The amenities including swimming pools, beach club, sun loungers are located on the lowest level, by the beach.
The access level is located within the principal building. This construction, which displays great plasticity of form and organic movement, resembles three blocks stacked on top of each other. Each block contains two floors to give a total of six and contains hotel rooms inside. The volumetry of this building combines the same concept of integration into the surroundings while its movement permits the generation of better views, affording the development with a unique tectonic character.
The apartments operated by the hotel are three volumes of square proportions distributed along the length of the south side of the site.
The different typologies of this hotel’s suites and rooms emerges from the topography that merges harmoniously with the sandy beach. To reach them, a courtyard-lobby serves as both entryway and bridge between the topographic undulations of the exterior and the welcoming geometry of the interior.
A warm atmosphere created using tropical wood, textiles with fresh, Mexican colors, and lines marked out in stone generate a distinctive contemporary aesthetic in every room.
One of the conceptual pillars of Solaz Los Cabos is the artistic intervention in many of the spaces. Here, Mexican artist Cesar López Negrete creates and exhibits over 400 works of art that commemorate the life and culture of Baja California in ancient times. His artistic vision complements each detail of the construction, at both the micro-level (hotel rooms) and the macro-level (open plazas and common spaces), in the appropriation of the space and the integration with the site.
The presence of Solaz in Los Cabos is notable thanks to the way the architecture is woven into an integrated landscape project, created in partnership with Gabayet 101 Paisaje. The palette of plants was complemented with further native species according to the landscape design and the intention of each space. In this way, the architecture and landscaping harmonize with the external walkways, passages, outdoor amenities, lobbies, restaurants, green roofs on the volumes that descend to the sea, and so on. These landscaped areas seek to imitate the local vegetation and its unique natural setting.
With its contemporary Mexican design, its proper integration into the landscape, and the sum of an integral art project, this hotel is expected to be the next icon in the international hospitality industry.
