1 Of The Greatest Scifi Summer Blockbuster Movies 🎥 Of The Year Was Released On This Day

In the year 2013, We thought that Aliens came from Outer Space.

But we were wrong!

They came from beneath the sea.

An interdimensional portal called "the Breach" opens at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, from which giant monsters, the Kaiju, emerge, destroying various cities across the Pacific Rim.

The 1st Kaiju landed in San Francisco.

By the time tanks, jets and missiles took it down.

6 days and 35 miles later, 3 cities were destroyed.

10's of Thousands of lives were lost.

We mourned our dead, memorialize the attack and then moved on...

BUT THEN..... 6 MONTHS LATER

A 2nd attack hit Manilla....

Then the 3rd one hit Cabo.....

And then the 4th......

AND THEN WE LEARNED.....

THAT THIS IS NOT GONNA TO STOP......

THIS WAS JUST THE BEGINNING....

WE NEEDED A NEW WEAPON.....

SO IN ORDER TO FIGHT MONSTERS.

WE CREATED MONSTERS OF OUR OWN.

And Then The Jaeger Program was Born.

In response, humanity builds massive robots called Jaegers to combat the monsters. Each Jaeger is piloted by two to three pilots, who are mentally linked in a process called "Drifting" to share the mental stress of piloting the machine.

When you Drift in the Jaeger. You feel like you can do anything.

In 2020, The Beckett Brothers pilot the greatest Jaeger known to man. Gipsy Danger.

But unfortunately, one of the brothers was killed in action and the Other Brother known as Raleigh quit the Jaeger program.

Now the year is 2025.

The Kaiju are about to make a final battle against Humanity.

In order for Humanity to survive. The Last Remaining Jaegers must put a END TO THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL.

The Last Jaegers of Humanity's Last Hope for Survival and the threat of Annihilation.

And Last but not least.

Gipsy Danger from the USA.

Raleigh Beckett must come back and pilot his old Jaeger one last time and with a new partner.

anyways some info about the new oc who’ll be playing a major role in Comet’s story. They’re still in early concept phase

introducing Meteor “Teo” the Lynx!

He/They. Is the same age as Comet.

A Lynx/Darkling hybrid. His mom is an Edean while his dad is half Black Arms. Physically, he looks like a like normal lynx but with Darkling eyes, limbs, and tail.

Has electric powers.

Him and his family live on Edea’s surface. I haven’t entirely decided what their jobs would be; if they would be radiation cleaners or some sort of “zookeeper/zoologist“ that studies the creatures that have adapted to living in the radioactive wastelands

either way Teo has monster hunter vibes

They like tinkering with electronics, especially the communications kind. They’re an alien enthusiast! (ironic, but Black Arms aren’t considered aliens anymore in Edea). would wear an “I believe 👽“ shirt

They spend their free time working on a transmitter that broadcasts messages to deep space, in hopes of making alien contact

Personality-wise: Teo’s brave but is also kind of a doormat next to extroverted people. They prefer not to say much, even around friends. They’re passionate about their interests, and can talk for a long time about electronics and aliens when asked.

He also has an interest in pre-catastrophe Edea. His Black Arms grandparent (who was there before the everything got irradiated) told him stories of what it was like.

Teo would serve as a supporting protag/deuteragonist. During one of his radio broadcasts, he accidentally makes contact with Comet over at Mobius (Comet still has a PDA sort of device with her). The two of them become interdimensional penpals; with Teo telling Comet about what’s happening back home, and Comet telling him about her adventures on alien planet.

Teo would be the one who contacts Halley to tell her that 1.) Her daughter is alive and safe and 2.) that she’s trapped in another dimension. He also plays a role in Comet actually getting back home; Essentially, by creating a “target“ for opening a portal

As for the love interest part: I don’t have a solid idea of how they would develop yet, but Teo’s attraction would start at finding Comet’s headstrong and confident attitude ✨super cool✨ (as well as thinking she’s cute). He is infatuated immediately after they meet for the first time in person, but keeps it a secret.

Comet on the other hand is attracted gentle optimists like Teo, bonus if they’re super passionate about something (also like Teo). She doesn’t reciprocate Teo’s feelings at first, but after they spend more time together post-return she starts liking him back.
