Master Bathroom Remodeling in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ: Design Ideas and Inspiration
The master bathroom is more than just a functional space—it’s a personal retreat where one can unwind and recharge. For home renovation in Scottsdale and Phoenix, AZ, a master bathroom remodel is an opportunity to create a luxurious, spa-like environment that complements the region’s upscale, desert-inspired homes. With the right design ideas, one can transform the master bath into a serene sanctuary that meets both one’s practical needs and aesthetic desires.
Here are some design ideas and inspiration to guide one’s  master bathroom remodeling in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ:
Open and Airy Layout
An open and airy layout is key to creating a luxurious bathroom in Scottsdale, where space and natural light are abundant. Consider removing walls or partitions to create a seamless flow between the bathroom and the adjoining bedroom or hallway. A spacious, open floor plan enhances freedom and relaxation, allowing natural light to flood the room. Large windows, strategically placed skylights, or even sliding glass doors that open to a private patio or garden can elevate the space by connecting it to the outdoors.
Spa-Like Features for Ultimate Relaxation
Transform the master bathroom into a personal oasis with spa-like features. Installing a freestanding soaking tub can create a focal point that invites relaxation. Consider a deep, freestanding tub with modern lines and a minimalist design, perfect for soaking after a long day. Pair it with a floor-mounted tub filler and a built-in fireplace or a feature wall made of natural stone to enhance the serene, calming atmosphere.
In addition to the tub, a large walk-in shower with multiple showerheads, including a rain shower and handheld fixture, provides a luxurious showering experience. One can go for frameless glass enclosures that give the space a sleek, modern look. Tiled floors and walls with neutral tones such as taupe, beige, or even ocean-inspired blues create a calm and refreshing environment.
Natural Materials to Complement the Desert Landscape
Scottsdale’s desert surroundings are rich in natural beauty, and incorporating earthy, organic materials into one’s bathroom design can help bring the outdoors in. Use natural stone, such as travertine, marble, or granite, for the flooring, shower walls, or countertops. The textures and colors of these materials—ranging from warm browns to soft creams—complement the desert landscape while adding elegance to the space.
Wood accents, like teak or oak, can bring a touch of warmth to the room, particularly in cabinetry, shelving, or even decorative touches. One might consider adding wood-trimmed mirrors or wooden floating vanities for a modern yet grounded design that feels connected to nature.
High-End, Custom Fixtures and Finishes
Luxury is in the details, and for bathroom remodeling in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ, choosing high-end fixtures and finishes is essential. Consider adding custom cabinetry with sleek, contemporary lines and functional storage solutions. Floating vanities with clean edges and under-cabinet lighting offer a modern, high-end look while maximizing floor space.
For the fixtures, one can choose brushed gold, matte black, or polished chrome for a modern touch. A statement faucet or elegant shower fixtures can make a significant impact on the bathroom’s overall aesthetic. Adding a large, backlit mirror enhances the luxurious feel while providing better lighting for daily grooming tasks.
Smart Bathroom Technology
Incorporating technology into the master bathroom remodel is a fantastic way to enhance comfort and convenience. Heated floors, programmable thermostats for showers, and high-tech toilet systems can elevate one’s bathroom experience. Smart mirrors with built-in lighting, Bluetooth speakers, and even touchless faucets add a modern touch to the design while also improving the overall functionality of the space.
Additionally, one can consider adding motorized blinds or shades to the windows that can be adjusted with a remote or app to control natural light and privacy effortlessly.
Neutral, Calming Color Palettes
When it comes to color schemes for the master bathroom remodel, neutral tones dominate. Soft whites, creams, taupes, and grays create a soothing atmosphere that promotes relaxation. These hues can be complemented with metallic accents like polished brass or chrome, creating contrast while maintaining a refined, upscale feel.
For those who prefer a bolder design, deep shades of navy, charcoal, or even earthy greens and browns work well with Scottsdale’s desert-inspired interiors. Accent walls, tiled backsplashes, or carefully chosen accessories in these colors can perfectly balance sophistication and relaxation.
A master bathroom remodel in Scottsdale offers the opportunity to create a luxurious, relaxing space that complements one’s lifestyle and the surrounding desert beauty.

The Perfect Tiles for Farmhouse Decor
We love staying on top of the hottest and newest interior design trends, but there are some home aesthetics that will never go out of style! One of our personal favorites has to be farmhouse decor! When it comes to creating a cozy country home or envisioning a cottage aesthetic, this is one decorating style that will always adapt with the times. Recent years have seen updates to this trend as it spread from rural areas into the suburbs and cities, absorbing other design styles into its homey and welcoming feel. From the recent modern farmhouse decor craze that combines white barn-inspired houses with galvanized steel accents, black trim, and rustic wood details, to elegant French country homes that embrace luxurious styling and organic details. A lot more goes into modern farmhouse decor than a fireclay farm sink, neutral paint for your shaker cabinets and a Skinny Chevron Calacatta Gold Mosaic Tile backsplash! We’re diving into the different ways to style farmhouse style interiors and how to create these stunning looks in your own home! Pairing Tiles with Farmhouse Kitchen Decor Ideas Rustic Farmhouse Design with Wood Look Tiles Although there are many different design elements that you can add to a country-inspired home, a rustic farmhouse kitchen is usually the first one that comes to our minds! Natural elements keep the true heart of a farmhouse or country home, and can be incorporated into any interior style! Rustic home decor can still be sophisticated, as this beautiful earth-toned kitchen shows. The backsplash with Nova Hex Wooden Beige Marble Tile ties in with the floating shelves and wood tones of the cabinetry to keep the kitchen design natural. The subtle geometric detail in the hexagon marble tile backsplash is picked up in the Granada rombus pendant light that adds a warm glow with a brass finish. DIY Shiplap Walls Made Easy We have Chip and Joanna Gaines and the Magnolia Farms/Fixer Upper craze to thank for popularizing shiplap walls in kitchens, living rooms, and bathrooms! This rustic design element was used primarily as siding for barns and other rustic outbuildings, and was frequently used on turn of the century farmhouse exteriors as well. Many renovated houses incorporated it into the design, restoring wooden boards or repurposing them into other rooms in the house. Whitewashed shiplap has become a trending wall treatment, and thanks to wood-look porcelain planks are easier to achieve than ever if you want to recreate this HGTV-approved look at home! Our Tribeca Mixed Planks for Wall are an easy way to install your own DIY shiplap with a lot less effort than installing wood planks - the durable porcelain and weathered wood look are a great way to combine rustic farmhouse home decor elements with a long-lasting building material! This kitchen combines them with Tribeca Blanco wood-look porcelain floor planks, butcher block counters, and oil-rubbed bronze drawer pulls on the white cabinets to create a sophisticated cottage design. Add a Glamorous Finish to your Farmhouse Kitchen If you prefer a luxurious element to your home decor, you can still create a cozy cottage style kitchen! It’s no secret that we love Mother of Pearl tiles for their glamorous shine - Geometric Pearl White Thassos Shell Tile is a stunning white backsplash tile for a modern farmhouse kitchen thanks to a tone-on-tone combination of shell and Thassos marble. It will add luminous light to even the darkest kitchen, creating a welcoming ambiance that’s perfect for the hearth and center of the home. Pairing it with a Classic Blue paint color for the cabinets and a fireclay farm sink was the perfect way to tie in an elevated wall tile with more down-to-earth decor and create a harmonious kitchen that is part welcoming and part grand! The elegant brushed nickel fixtures and drawer pulls are the perfect finishing touch for the traditional kitchen style. Farmhouse Bathroom Design Ideas Sweet Southern Homestead is a master of farmhouse decor, as her stunning Instagram feed of her Kentucky house can attest! She did every room from top to bottom in a modern farmhouse style, and the master bathroom is no exception! She sourced antique doors from Antiques & Vintage Texas to add the perfect aged patina to this stunning airy white farmhouse bathroom! She wanted to go new for the flooring, however; making Retro Blanco Hex porcelain tiles the perfect choice. Similar to the faux shiplap above, these floor tiles are designed to resemble antique wood, but with a porcelain finish that is scratch and slip-resistant. Along with the vintage doors, they added the perfect accent to the freestanding cast iron pedestal tub and old world wrought iron chandelier from Antique Farmhouse! Classic White and Blue Farmhouse Bathroom with a Twist Airy white and splashes of blue have cemented themselves as the traditional color palette for classic farmhouse interior design. It’s not hard to see why when you factor in a white vanity with a porcelain vessel sink and brushed nickel faucet and hardware - it’s a classic for good reason! The white wicker laundry baskets are a great addition to keep the country charm feeling even when it comes to storage necessities, but there’s no reason that tradition has to feel boring! To give this white and blue traditional farmhouse bathroom a fresh finish, the team installed White Striped Diamonds Marble Mosaic Tile to add a sense of movement and creative design to the space! A Powder Room with Farmhouse Charm A powder room or half-bath can be a great way to give guests a glimpse of your home decor taste! Smaller bathrooms can easily feel cluttered, so keeping the details on the wall is a great way to maximize space and style all at once! The Tribeca Mixed Planks showcase their range in this cozy aqua and champagne bronze half-bathroom, with an antiqued vanity and vessel sink. In keeping with the minimalist decor, a ladder bathroom shelf provides over the toilet storage options without taking up too much space! The simple and rustic etagere and woven baskets are the perfect way to finish off this bathroom with elegant country style! Other ways to style Farmhouse Decor Industrial farmhouse style - Rustic meets modern in industrial farmhouse style! This design aesthetic draws inspiration from farm equipment and machinery mixed in with rustic wood and classic white elements. The blend works especially well when tying farmhouse decor ideas into an urban setting - we’ve seen it used to great effect in downtown lofts as well as charming suburban houses. Darker elements like wrought iron, espresso stained wood, and charcoal gray grout accenting white subway tiles create a contrast with classic shaker cabinets that makes this style especially popular today. French country - The French Country aesthetic, or campagne style, is frequently blended with traditional American heartland home ideas. This style tends to steer towards whitewashed wood over a natural finish, keeping the overall look bright and airy. It has been increasingly popular in recent years, as it combines a homey and welcoming feel with a more upscale and elevated interior experience. Light colors, frequently Provence-inspired gray, blue, and purple, are combined with neutral linen accents and pastoral artwork to create this elegant style. Think flourishes on the details, like leaded glass cabinet facing, vintage drawer pulls, and hanging copper pans to create that South of France feel! We could see Azul Cielo Thassos And Carrara Striped Chevron Mosaic Tile finishing off this charming white, gray, and silvery green kitchen by Sanctuary Home Decor to create movement on the backsplash! The exposed wooden beams and vintage bronze lantern are the perfect details to add French country style to this kitchen! We hope you’ve found the perfect primer to style farmhouse decor at home or to take your rustic country retreat to the next level! Looking for the perfect tile to pair with your industrial farmhouse kitchen or elegant French country powder room? Let us know in the comments or message our team for a styling session!

The Double Sink Vanity: 5 Bathrooms Get 2X Space, Style
A double sink vanity can introduce extra working space in the bathroom, without skimping on style
If you have space, you should consider adding a double-sink vanity when redoing your bathroom. This welcome luxury allows homeowners to more easily share their space and simplify their morning routines. No more banging on the bathroom door to get in to brush your teeth! You can do so side-by-side with your child or partner.
Double-sink vanities also offer extra storage space, with options like additional drawers and cabinets. (And who couldn’t use some extra storage?) Here, we show 5 Sweeten renovators who chose double-sink vanities when renovating their baths.
Sweeten matches home renovation projects with vetted general contractors, offering advice, support, and up to $50,000 in renovation financial protection—for free.
Adding a double-sink vanity for resale
This Chicago homeowner came to Sweeten to find a contractor. She wanted to sell her condo and knew that a renovation was in order. She turned her attention to the master bedroom and her two bathrooms. A well-designed, new bathroom is a big draw for potential buyers. Luckily, the master bath had plenty of square footage, and just needed to be modernized. She had an existing double-sink vanity so she was able to easily replace it with a more contemporary-looking one. “It looks great,” says the homeowner. “Bigger, brighter, and more modern.”
Pro advice: This homeowner was fortunate that she had a pre-existing double-sink vanity, and thus, the plumbing that goes along with it. If you are thinking of upgrading from a single to a double sink, remember to factor in the cost of additional plumbing.
Bringing the bath into the 2020s
Similar to the homeowner above, Leah and Brian wanted to make their Chicago condo more modern. However, they planned on staying—not selling. They focused on renovating their kitchen and bath, moving away from the browns and beiges. For the bath, they kept the footprint the same. They already had a double-sink vanity, so they just upgraded it with a more contemporary one. They replaced the busy brown and white marble with a muted gray-white countertop.
Pro advice: Know your size. Standard single-sink vanities range anywhere from 36-48 inches. Standard double-sink vanities are much longer, ranging from 60-72 inches. Talk with your contractor and check that your space can fit this design.
A close-fitting—but golden-glamorous—double sink
For Jenifer Herrmann, a media exec, and her partner, Mitzie Wong, a designer, painter, and co-founder of creative design firm Roar + Rabbit, it was important to have their home reflect their styles and personalities. They came to Sweeten and found a contractor to bring their master bath in Brooklyn to life. “Our big goal for the master bath was to add a double vanity—a tight squeeze and ultimately a feat,” said Jenifer, “since we didn’t find a 60-inch-wide unit with storage that we both liked.”
The vanity they chose doesn’t have cabinets but luckily their Sweeten contractor came to the rescue. During demolition, he found an extra 6-8 inches in depth between the wall studs, which they used as additional storage space.
Pro advice: Make sure you meet both your form and function needs, like Jenifer and Mitzie. Even though their selected vanity didn’t have storage, they were able to add it elsewhere. There are many different styles of double sink vanities—free-standing, wall-mounted, floating—so be sure to match your style preferences with your everyday needs.
A bright, airy, and shareable double sink setup
Jill, a community college professor, and Cy, a nonprofit executive, didn’t want to move to the suburbs. They liked their Brooklyn neighborhood but needed more space for their family. So, they found a 1,920-square-foot townhome in the same area and called Sweeten to find a contractor.
Jill wanted a master bath that would accommodate their busy lifestyle. It needed to be bright, airy, and functional. She selected a double-sink vanity that she and Cy could share easily with long drawers for storage. In addition, she had her Sweeten contractor custom build the mirror and medicine cabinets above to match the floating vanity.
Pro advice: There are many benefits of a double-sink vanity. A key benefit? Saved time. Two sinks make it easy for couples or families to get through their morning routines without disrupting or delaying each other.
Drawers and cabinets produce a zero-clutter look
After they became empty-nesters, Mary Ann and her partner dreamed of an upgrade to their bathroom. They had been living in their Upper West Side co-op since 1992. Their bathroom still had the same tub and tiles from 1929 when the building was built.
Their Sweeten contractor helped them transform the space from a rundown, dingy bathroom to a beautiful, expansive area complete with double sinks. They did lose storage space in their master and hall bathroom when they renovated, but they put in a large vanity to make up for it. The vanity has six large drawers and two cabinets for storing supplies. “We were just going for a calmer, less cluttered look,” said Mary Ann. “Now, everything is put away.”
Pro advice: If you lose storage space during the renovation process, vanities can make up for it. There are so many free-standing, double-sink vanities to choose from that have multiple drawers and cabinets to accommodate all your necessities.
Looking to add a double-sink vanity to your bathroom? A Sweeten contractor can make it happen.
7 Sweeten renovators decided to ditch their dated bathtubs to add in sleek showers.
Empty nesters Beth and David moved back to New York City to start the next chapter in their newly-renovated co-op.
Sweeten handpicks the best general contractors to match each project’s location, budget, scope, and style. Follow the blog, Sweeten Stories, for renovation ideas and inspiration and when you’re ready to renovate, start your renovation with Sweeten.

Moving from NY to Wilmington, NC, this family bought a 1990’s house that required not only a full renovation but also a lot of creativity. To achieve a more relaxed coastal look, they hired the talented designers at Gathered Group, whom, without any hesitation, brought a more welcoming and happier feel to their home.
With a classic coastal color scheme and coastal decor, this place feels current and ready to embrace summer in full motion!
Take notes on the details shared by the designer, pin your favorite photos and have a good time, my friends.

Creative & Uplifting Loft Renovation With Before And After Shots
Once a place of manufacture, then an art workshop, and now a private apartment in a 1906 tenament house near Old Town in Krakow, Poland. Studio Zapraszam has transformed a rare devastated loft space into a bright showhome. The full renovation was designed to demonstrate a mix of the studio’s favourite styles and visions. The interior has been designed to be both motivating and calming in a horizontally and vertically open space. The layout is balanced, and customisable between open flow and privacy, which makes it compatible with work and rest, parties or guests. It incorporates space saving ingenuity and multi-functional optimisation in an aesthetic that will stand the test of time.
Photographer: Martyna Rudnicka   The scheme was designed to be highly cost-effective, with elements of easy to implement DIY. A casual gallery wall has been fashioned across an exposed brickwork wall in the lounge area to give the loft a more homey feel.
A blue modern sofa contrasts richly with the red brickwork. A deep pile area rug makes the room plush and cosy.
Industrial style lighting dangles all the way down from a double height ceiling. The electrical cables are casually knotted to adjust each length to suit.
A shelf of knick-knacks and indoor plants joins the picture gallery wall.
More indoor plants dress the window sill beside the sofa. A strip of LED light glows through the leaves and branches.
A wood topped rectangle coffee table nestles into the soft cream carpet at the centre of the seating area. A canvas hanging chair makes a novelty hangout at one side of it.
Just behind the hanging chair there is a wood burning stove. A wicker chair and pouf pull up at the warmest spot in the place–and the cat knows it.
The treads of an open staircase design leap past an elevated window seat, en route to a mezzanine level with a home office.
Two blue lounge chairs form the final edge of the lounge furniture arrangement. The chairs form a relaxed divide between the lounge and the kitchen behind.
A small lounge chair and faux sheepskin rug make a stylish vignette by the home entryway. Above the entry, a hammock platform is attached to the mezzanine’s steel frame. The transparent feature extends the mezzanine’s usable space without taking away any light or sense of space from the downstairs module.
Beneath the mezzanine, the galley kitchen employs a white gloss finish to extend its sense of space and light. A balcony door is installed with clear glass to bring in a taste of the outdoors.
The private bedroom leads off the living room. It is equipped with its own wood burning stove to make evenings cosy.
A modern home office desk is positioned in one corner of the room. The desk is surrounded by indoor plants and uplifting blue accents to calm and motivate.
Black wicker string lights are pinned up and over the bedhead in reflection of the black gloss wardrobes at the foot of it. A small dressing area is arranged by the windows.
Stylish side tables flank the bed. Artwork adds a personal touch above the pillows.
A mature plant thrives by one small side table, which grows a grounded earthy vibe.
More wicker furniture and faux fur rugs kit out the bedroom vanity area.
The bathroom has a strong monochrome theme with a jet black accent wall.
A stunning bathtub stands out cleanly against the pitch backdrop. Beautiful blue and beige tinted tiles pattern the floor.
The bathroom sink sits upon a wooden countertop, which gives the black and white scheme a moment of natural breath.
The window seat is a dreamy spot in which to unwind or be inspired. “All is pretty”, Andy Warhol.
Up on the mezzanine, a speaker is situated under each side of a desk. They face outwards to the living room so that music can be played into the whole apartment.
White blinds can be pulled down in front of the home workspace to shroud it from the living room, or to block out intense sunlight from the huge windows.
Bicycles are stored on the upper level of the home to leave the living room tidy.
A daybed/guest bed is set up at the end of the mezzanine, with blinds installed for privacy when required.
Simple wooden wall shelves hold reading material.
A colourful poster gallery lines the back of the mezzanine, highlighted by an LED ribbon.
Before and after shots of the loft renovation. The scale of the job was immense, with no obvious starting point outside of sheer imagination.
Bedroom before and after shots. New plaster reveals the first glimmer of a usable, comfortable space. We can also see how shiny new wardrobe doors disguised an irregular void in the wall plane.
Living room before and after pics, including staircase.
The kitchen before and after shots show how an uninspiring corner became a clean and pleasant galley.
The bedroom window is a gorgeous shapely feature that draws you toward it. There are a pair of velux windows installed above this area too, which creates a light and open feeling like being out on the rooftops.
Some of the bones of a mezzanine were there in the beginning, but have been completely reconfigured.
The floor plan reveals the locations of two bathrooms. The main bathroom resides downstairs next to the master bedroom. A second smaller bathroom is up by the guest bed on the mezzanine.

A Beige Bath Turns Blue Beauty
This prewar bath gets a classic look with a modern twist: a penny tile shower in many shades of blue
Editor’s Note: This post was originally published on March 15, 2017. We’re bringing it back to celebrate the color blue, a hue that’s been popular in home design for centuries. In Victorian kitchens, a touch of blue was added to the walls because it was believed to keep flies away and make the room feel cooler. Blue is calming; it makes us think of the ocean and inspires deep thought and reflection. Plus, it’s been popping up everywhere in Sweeten renovations; in Tina and Fletcher’s navy blue cabinets, Jeanne and Philip’s moody blue shower, Mollie’s kitchen cabinets and wallpaper, and the cornflower blue tile in Meredith’s master bath. Check out the slideshow below. We love the dusky blue wall paint and mosaic of penny tile in Rachel and Michael’s bathroom and we think you’ll love it too.
Project: Overhaul a very beige bathroom in Jackson Heights, Queens.
Before: Owners Rachel and Michael didn’t want to go super modern with their bathroom update, so they went with a classic look that complemented their apartment’s prewar roots. The original space was dark and in an uninspiring neutral, the shower cramped and confined by uneven walls, and old chipped tile throughout had clearly seen better days.
After: Keeping the existing layout intact, the couple posted their project and chose a Sweeten contractor to take on the crucial updates, starting with tearing down the unnecessary wall framing of the shower—which added an extra 9 inches to the height of the shower—and swapping the old glass door for a new one. With a bigger and brighter space to fill, a waterfall of penny tile in various shades of blue shines as a showpiece. The open and light-filled shower with its mosaic of penny tile is now Michael’s favorite part of the bathroom.
A dusky shade of blue paint dominates the upper half of the walls while balancing the crackle-finish white subway tile with the right amount of contrast. White hexagon floor tile adds another layer of pattern. The tub also experienced a major improvement: out went the old tub with a clunky, external drainage system, and in went the new with an integrated system, vintage-style wall-mount tub filler, and a tiled tub surround. After a month of going back and forth on deciding on the replacement, the couple switched out the boxy, builder-grade vanity for an open console design, making the space feel considerably larger. A mirrored medicine cabinet and triple-light fixture over the vanity—Rachel’s favorite details—complete the look. The result? A room once bathed in beige gets a new energy.
Bonus: Dust bunnies averted! Michael noted that his contractor did a spectacular job of keeping the bathroom clean, combating the huge amount of dust generated by the work.
Style finds: Wall color in Hale Navy from Benjamin Moore. 24″-wide console sink, Parlington tub fixtures from Signature Hardware. Medicine cabinet by Restoration Hardware. Archie Collection vanity light from Progress Lighting. Edenton tub by Mirabelle. Rain/handheld shower heads and toilet by Kohler. Ceiling light by Rejuvenation.
Whether bold or subtle, tile creates dimension and texture on any plain surface. Set in a classy neutral, we love the unexpected shape of Kelly’s glass bath tile.

20 Glorious Bathrooms with Wooden Shelves
Tumblr media
Check out how you can add bathroom wooden shelves.
Most people are really particular with their bathrooms. Bathrooms are an essential part of the home and so gorgeous, clean, and glorious is what we aspire for when it comes to our respective bathrooms. Aside from sanitation, one important people consider is space in the bathroom and toilet. This is made possible by smart shelving and installation of cabinets. Shelves are essential and very practical for the bathroom because of all the necessary toiletries and stuff we need to use.
For some awesome inspiration, here are 20 amazing bathrooms with wooden shelving that might just be your next project in your own homes. Since wood is very useful, straightforward, and accessible, these bathrooms and wooden shelving can easily be materialized in your homes. Whether modern, rustic, or eclectic, wooden shelves are easy to work with and can go with varied designs and decorations as well!
1. Altbausanierung II
Eva Lorey Innenarchitektur
This bathroom has significantly incorporated wooden shelves and drawers within a small area. The white walls and sink look much better with the fusion of the brown wood. There is not much decor in this part except maybe for the pretty ornamental plant but since there are several small shelves, the practicality and usefulness level has been raised to a higher extent.
2. Beecroft House
D’Cruz Design Group
This bathroom is going for a monochromatic approach which actually works nicely as made evident by the gorgeous energy from what small space we see of this bathroom. The wooden shelves are colored black so whatever color theme or motif you plan for your bath, using the same color for the tub and the shelves has definitely a good oomph factor.
3. Berglan Court
C.P. Hart Bathrooms
This bathroom is a luxurious one and the high-end lighting makes the whole space even a lot classier. The light browns and beiges used are a really great go-to color when designing your bathroom. Moreover, another good feature here is the wooden shelves that neither wilt in style nor are overpowering the whole look. As usual, decors and skin essentials are really pretty up on a shelf.
4. Colorado Mountain House
Kate Khrestsov with Urban West Construction
The motif of this bathroom are the light versus dark browns which kind of reminds me of caramel and chocolate. The granite walls and tiles are really stunning features of this bathroom and the shelves are really practical areas to put those contrasting colors of the bath towels. There are decors in the bathroom which add energy without being too overbearing.
5. Marsh View
Holmes + Salter Interiors
Here’s one really dainty bathroom which might remind you of old Hollywood movies in the 70s or 80s. The cabinet has a rustic feel and it gives a nice contrast to the white walls, tub, and shelves. This bathroom’s wooden shelves are also of the same color with the tub and the matching colors make the room feel light and somehow breezy. The small windows are a pretty addition to this area as well.
6. Martis Camp 1
Concrete Works
This bathroom is definitely one-of-a-kind. There are several unique features in this bathroom and despite that, the bathroom does not disappoint but rather, it is gorgeous and pretty. The white colors in this room go nicely well with the wooden features of the bath. Those wooden shelves as well, despite being narrow and slim, they add to the elongated effect and spacious vibe of the whole area.
7. Meydenbauer Residence
Andrea Braund Home Staging & Design
Here’s a pretty bathroom perfect for those gorgeous and classy hotels. The area is straightforward and practical with great ideas for decoration and an even pretty tub to go with the whole gorgeous look. The wooden shelving is slim similar to the previous bathroom we featured, but these shelves are absolutely perfect for those mood-setting oils and candles.
8. Mizner Park
Troy Dean Interiors
This bathroom is very modern in style and interiors. The dark grays and silver elements are highlighted well thanks to the stunning yet straightforward lighting. Even the tub is quite unique. The wooden shelves have various levels and are gorgeously assembled. They are definitely convenient for decor and bath essentials.
9. Modern Master Suite Remodel
Mosby Building Arts
Wooden shelves are very practical and functional in the bathroom. If you need something for the aesthetics, they can easily be used to put up decor like marbled glass, scented candles, or perhaps a plant. If you want to put up a napkin container or a place for your soap stashes, then it’s also a great idea. The wooden shelves in this bathroom and toilet are small but definitely functional. The use of this color of wood is definitely a stand-out as well.
10. Mt. Evelyn En Suite
Jasmine McClelland Design
This bathroom has gorgeous furniture and decor with unique shapes, colors, and styles. The wooden shelves are a pretty brown against the plentiful of whites in the space. The shelves are very suitable and are practical to put decors on it or bath essentials. The interior design in this bath is topnotch and the colors and decor are winners as well, but last but definitely not the least, is the dazzling view outside made possible by the huge glass windows.
11. North York Condo Renovation
Toronto Interior Design Group | Yanic Simard
Here’s a bathroom that has been able to maximize and beautify a small condo bath and toilet. This is a proof that even small spaces can appear striking with the help of material and color choices. The style on the granite tiles is really exquisite and unique. The dark glass partition by the tub is also lovely. Lastly, the wooden shelves in this bath are of an attractive shade of brown that contrasts nicely the white sink, toilet, and tub.
12. Palo Alto Remodel
MN Builders
The extensive use of white is actually refreshing. This bathroom appears spotless and dazzling. The wooden shelves serve as a good color accent to this bathroom as it contrasts the big percentage of white in this bathroom.
13. Philadelphia Design Home
Diane Bishop Interiors
Here’s a unique bathroom with nice geometric patterns on the wall. The wooden shelves are flushed onto the wall and putting the same patterns inside the shelves is actually impressive. If patterns might be too much for you, then using minimal decoration in the bathroom might do the trick and you can just put up what is essential.
14. Russian Hill
Zack de Vito Architecture + Construction
The wooden shelves in this bathroom boast of great decorations. The use of browns and dark-colored decor is a good accent to the otherwise white bathroom. The tub is unique and looks great atop of a black granite block. The marbled wall that leads to the shower is also a good way of accentuating the bathroom.
15. St. Clarens
Wanda Ely Architect Inc.
One word for these wooden shelves: functional. These wooden shelves are very practical and are helpful in displaying decors and bath essentials like soap, towels, and bath creams. They are also a great yet light shade of brown to contrast the white walls, sink, and toilet. The lighting fixtures in this bathroom are also amazing.
16. Strand Beach
Jeri Koegel Photography
Here’s one definitely unique bathroom. The play of different shades of brown is dazzling and absolutely exquisite. The wooden shelves are perfect for striking decors like the ones used in this bathroom. The walls and the mirror frame and generally everything that we see are just absolutely magnificent and one-of-a-kind.
17. The Ancaster Estate
Parkyn Design
The lighting fixtures in this bathroom are gorgeous and really elegant. The double mirror creates a spectacular effect which is actually impressive. The wooden shelves are quite small but they are still a perfect addition to this whole area and the shelves are definitely practical.
18. Townhouse Renovation
RGB Architects, P.A.
This magnificent bathroom boasts of unique furniture and furnishings. The use of wood cabinets and shelves, and even the uniquely curved counter create a perfect distinction from the more modern features and elements of the bathroom like the glass doors, mirrors, and tiles. Nonetheless, the whole look is breathtaking and the varying sizes of the shelves, and the uniquely-shaped cabinet and counter, create that one-of-a-kind feel to this one-of-a-kind bathroom.
19. Waverley Street
Klopper and Davis Architects
Here’s a simple and straightforward bathroom. The use of wood is a good way to juxtapose it with the white tiles and walls. The shelves are sufficient since there are five of them. And depending on the bathroom or the needs one have, loads of shelves equal to loads of function.
20. Winn Road
Dawna Jones Design
Last but definitely not the least on this list is this bathroom. The decor and furnishings are unique and the shelves have done a great service for the display of various decorations. The use of color orange wooden shelves is a good accent to this otherwise white and silver bathroom. This is actually something you might want to consider when you are decorating your bath or toilet.
