So basically we have those hardwire resets, right? What if it was done on a big scale to where we dont remember ANYTHING at all and then the loop restarts with (new? Or old) management making sure it doesnt get too screwed up but either way, it will. Its the sitcom its gonna get messed up.

63!Spencer could have been completely derailed from his management since his servers got DESTROYED by Markus with the dang hatchet. That already caused spencer to forget OWNING THE COMPANY and as pre-established lore shows they can just make him not remember owning the company Markus style.

We already know that hardwire resets work on 63!Bea and (possibly) 63!Lexie and 63!Kat so we can just write it all off as they got comepletely MASS-HARDWIRE-RESET and Adam never was really in it so thats covered too since they probably dont have any inshow memory

But if anything, Lexie or Lat would canonically have the highest chance of rememberig because Kat has very high resistance to hardwire resets as seen after the first lithuania incident, and lexie is a hired actor, they could just have her being a feild researcher. MARKUS wouldnt let it slide, but as proposed, new management!

Markus would try to get back to the main 5 to manipulate them into getting them to help the revolution because that man wont stop until hes in control again because hes just like that, forever the Channel 63’s official rat bastard.

Personally I don’t find it charming at all. I fully understand that Ninjago is made to sell toys so continuity was never a main goal of the series. The show has also been going on for 10 years, so I do not expect every writer and developer to remember every single aspect of the show either.

However, my love for the show continues to get dimmer and dimmer on the aspect of “if nothing is canon then why should I care”. Hence why plenty of people make their own aus/designs/fiction of the show for their own enjoyment (the Ninjago tumblr community is extremely good at expanding small parts of the show and fleshing it out into something interesting.)

An example being in s5 when Cole could not see his reflection. There are plenty of theories on this subject such as the slight inshow explanation of “he can turn invisible”, or the fan theory of the timeline being erased because of Jays choices in s6, or the idea that the event DID happen or was SUPPOSED to happen in dotd alluding to Cole being forgotten hence disappearing. Regardless it does not matter to me because the show did not make a big deal out of it so why should I be invested.

I also just really like s5 it had interesting concepts and im sad to see them go

Why did they slowly retcon s5 like yall noticed it too right
