Wanted to try to imitate the show's style while still adding my own twist/flare to it, enjoy!

John Constantine of Earth 3?

Brother John Constantine of the HellRaisers Decision of the Satanist Church original came from Liverpool. Born a twin with both his mother and brother dying after his birth, considering the newborn a bad omen after everything that happened his father left him at an orphanage. As he grew up the Nuns who ran the orphanage taught him about the Satanist Church and help him join the United Kingdom National Socialism Youth. He became enamored by the occult practices of the church and the influence his natural looks gave him in his youth group. As he grew so did his powers and when on tour with his choir group Nergal's Noise multiple members of the clergy noticed and knew who to call. Suddenly he was being shot up the ranks in the church and personally invited to a meeting with Father Nicholas Nolan. He explained that the church retained power over the years by finding individuals like John and himself who could put their powers to use in the service of their Lord. The service they provided was simple, keeping artefacts of power out of the hands of non Believers and destroying any practitioners who did not align with the faith. Under Father Nicholas's personal tutelage he became a member of the HellRaisers Decision of the Satanist Church. He was seen as a rising star and so was given a mission that Father Nicholas had failed that in the past, infiltrating and destroying the magician Innavoig Arataz inner circle. He was sent in undercover as a practitioner wanting to learn more about his powers, he gained Innaviog's trust by becoming friends with his daughter Annataz Arataz. Soon enough they became more than friends and when the time came he warned her before the church descended on their location. She survived, her father died and John was celebrated for his success. As the Crime Syndicate begin its rain in the background he became famous for two things within the church. Firstly for surviving and succeeding in any mission that seemed impossible. Secondly for leaving many bodies in his wake, mostly enemies but a steady stream of allies as well. Due to this he was often partnered with people who had displeased the church as a form of punishment for them, not thinking what they could be whispering in his ears.

Giovanni Zatarra:

It's time to talk about Giovanni Freaking Zatara.

Actual look: What is there to say, for a stage magician it's hard to go wrong with a tux and top hat. The tall hat and long tails suit really complement Giovanni's slender build. The yellow vest and red tie/hat band add a whimsical flare and the primary colors link the costume to superhero’s visually. If Giovanni wanted to modernize I’d say to ditch the hat, go for a black and white color scheme and maybe shave the stash. That being said nothing about Giovanni screams “modernize” so I would say he’s right on target 5 of 5

In-universe: This costume is a prime example of how to tell a story through clothes. 1: Zatara and Zatanna wear nearly identical costumes. This shows us visually that they are extremely close, that Zatanna looks up to her dad and that Zatarra may be holding onto Zatanna a bit too tightly. Later in the show we see Zatanna’s costume has changed as she has grown, she is still following her father but she has grown into her own. 2. Giovanni is of an older time. Zatarra harkens back to a time of pulp heroes, before the superhero was the norm. In the show it shows that he seems a little older than the rest of the League. Zatarra stands appart in a team full that has a Martian 2 Hawk people and Batman, props Giovanni 3. It makes sense, Zatara is a magical, he doesn't really need body armor or a mask. 5 of 5

Overthinking things:  I worry about Giovanni’s finances. Our guy is wearing some really nice stuff into heavy combat. As someone who wears formal attire in some non formal situations, that stuff can get tattered. How many hats does he go through? This stuff can get costly. It definitely looks tailored and that's extra cost. I’m just worried about you Giovanni. 2 of 5

Sheer Glee: This guy, this freaking guy sees a Starro or something and thinks “Time to put on a tux white gloves and a top hat” Just the sheer audacity and commitment required to rock this look is an inspiration. I love you Giovanni, your presence is dearly missed. 5 of 5.

Felt like doing a random expression sheet for Giovanni just for fun! Hopefully, if I get the time and energy for it, I'll get around to doing one for his anti-fairy Innavoig too.
