Figured I should post this one on here as well! I painted this in CSP for @voluptatiscausa's fic "God Forgive My Tasteless Tongue" for the 'sex pollen' fic/art event!.

Pretty happy with it! Aimed to push lighting/shading on this one as well as facial expression, and I think it went pretty well! Didn't have to directly reference Crowley's face either which is always nice.

Yes! 3 year old twins and trying for our third.

I’ve never been sporty and I’m pretty sure I’m allergic to exercise. But in high school I had a huge crush on the captain of the track and field team so I joined just so I could spend extra time around her in case she noticed me. Paid off! This summer we’ll be celebrating 10 years married.

5. Do you use sarcasm?

If you deserve it.

6. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Usually clothing I think.

7. What's your eye color?

Golden brown.

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

I don’t usually like “horror” but a suspense/mystery is good. My film taste is very eclectic tbh.

I will crush you at Friends trivia. Hyperfixating. I’m a great cook.

10. Where were you born?

Southern US, ya’ll. Though I live there no longer.

11. What are your hobbies?

Reading, digital art, cooking, yoga.

Three cats and a dog.

5’2”. I frequently require standing on a chair to reach things in the kitchen cabinets.

Aziraphale arranged himself against the black silk pillows, all pink and cream and pale gold, spreading himself out like the kind of erotic photograph that Crowley hadn't seen since the reign of Queen Victoria. There was a lush Dieffenbachia seguine beside the bed, its supple green leaves broad enough to wrap around one of Aziraphale's luscious thighs. A Tradescantia pallida trailed overhead, all imperial purple, rich as the wine they'd drunk in Rome. Aziraphale looked like a fantasy draped in a tropical paradise. Crowley wanted to taste every inch of him, slowly.

IT'S DOOONE YAY!

I'm a bit late but a BIG Happy Birthday to @mrghostrat! Thank you for everything you do for the fandom. Your work, both written and painted, has been a huge inspiration for me to get back into my own craft as a way to manage the brainrot hahah.

I wanted to illustrate something from Bilv's fics and decided to go for "A Place Like This"! Go give your kudos over here, it's a LOVELY story:

Hyperfocused the shit out of this one so I got through it quite fast haha. I was too inspired when that Dracula musical circulated back onto my dash and I was like HOLD UP

JAYSUS IT'S DONE!

Started this one a couple days before the picnic chapter came out and couldn't finish it before release lol, but that's just as well because it gave me a chance to try my hand at painting a lagoon?! Lovely imagery to work with in @phoen1xr0se's Good Omens fic, "There is a Light and it Never Goes Out"!

This was a fun challenge piece as since I wanted to get a very painterly background, I had to force myself to be painterly on the lads as well so this was excellent shading/lighting practice and all that. Pretty happy with it, especially with their faces and with Crowley's hair. AND THOSE CROISSANTS! :D

Crowley has wanted Aziraphale for millennia, but Aziraphale has never shown any sign of wanting him. Now, the pollen of a mystery plant has taken root deep inside Aziraphale's being, leaving him feverish and painfully aroused.

Without help, Aziraphale could be completely consumed by the plant. The only way to burn it out is intense orgasm, and Aziraphale can’t do it alone. Even if he never would have chosen this.

To save Aziraphale, Crowley must walk a knife's-edge of denial and desire, coercion and consent, fear and trust.

He isn't sure Aziraphale will ever forgive him.

He isn't sure he'll ever forgive himself.

(They do figure it out afterwards, to their mutual, enthusiastically-consensual enjoyment.)

“Oh, I want,” breathed Crowley, his voice low and rippling with something dark as he lifted a hand to cup Aziraphale’s face, his thumb stroking along the cheekbone reverently. “Fucking hell, angel, I want.”

It's doooone! What a fun piece this ended up being, and I definitely feel like I learned a lot along the way.

HOLY FORKING SHIRTBALLS IT'S DONE!

I've been wanting to do a Footnotes piece for ages since I've been following the fic for a while, and this scene was too epic not to jump on. It forced me to work at a lot of things I find challenging, like lighting, wings and backgrounds, and to get creative at conveying energy and movement!

And shout-out to @chernozemm for the incredible art tips - that layer blur/set-to-soft-light tip made SUCH A DIFFERENCE in the final result! Like it blew my mind lol.

It's done!

Been working on this since the last chapter of "There is a Light & it Never Goes Out" was posted by @phoen1xr0se - the latter part of the chapter was so striking and I immediately had to do arts about it. It's such a lovely heartfelt story that feels so authentic and is such a fascinating approach to Aziraphale and Crowley. I love it.

Our two lads sit on either side of a door, discussing puffins. Because puffins are great. <3

Tried to experiment with more painterly brushes and had a ton of fun! I gotta get some better ones though, as the watercolour brushes included with CSP are pretty low res so it ends up quite choppy. I do like the clip mask effect as well, to make a sort of negative space frame I can paint behind. =)
