Dress Up!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alastor x Reader - Fluff - Gender Neutral
A nice and slow morning with your lover, Alastor. You both try to figure out what couples costume to wear for Halloween. You both come to an agreeable conclusion, after all, he always believed ivory was a pretty color on you.
TW: Nothing I think lol
This is my late Halloween special. Remember to stay hydrated and to not eat too much candy at once!! <3
Tumblr media
It was a nice peaceful October morning. You were curled up in Alastor's lap, nursing a nice steaming drink. He was settled into his comfy chair, a cup of coffee in his hand. It was a slow yet cozy morning for you two, the fall equivalent of lounging in a lazy river. The weather outside was dull red and chilly to the bone. It beat winter, but it was still cold. The dreary outdoor weather was the perfect indoor weather.
His arms rested on the arm rests, providing a comforting sort of cradle for your body as you snuggled up to him.
“Halloween is coming around,” you began, catching his attention. You tilted your head up, catching his expression. His eye brow was arched high, a bemused smile on his face as he took a sip of his coffee.
“Hmm, I suppose it is, dear. We can carve pumpkins if you'd like? The roasted seeds make wonderful snacks,” he proposed.
A mischievous smile grew on your face. You faced forward, opting to not look at his face. “That's a great idea. We can decorate the hotel for Halloween. But, what about Halloween itself? It would be a pity to skip out on the festivities,” you mused, gently guiding the conversation into whatever tomfoolery you had planned.
To be honest, it was way too early in the morning for your shenanigans, but Alastor had always enjoyed your odd sort of chaos. You shifted in his lap, turning around so you straddled him.
Perfect, now he was totally trapped and helpless against your mischief!!!
His head was tilted to the side, boosting your courage through his curiosity. You silently noted the adorable way his ears stood. One was lax, flopping down, but the other was at attention, almost like an antenna facing the sky.
“And what festivities would you propose? I know Charlie intends on hosting some sort of Halloween party. Are you suggesting we attend?” he watched you take a long sip of your drink, leaving him waiting.
Like a fly to honey, he fell for your trap. Of course you knew he was just humoring you and going along with whatever you wanted, but it was still nice to pretend you were some master manipulator. Perhaps you were secretly a master manipulator, after all you convinced him to date you.
“I don't see why not, ah- but it’s a costume party. You can just show up without dressing up! So, what if we do those couple's costumes? Imagine! You can be butter, I can be bread. I can be salt, you can be pepper. You can be Joker and I can be Harley!” You proposed ideas, the concept of a couples costume had been brewing in your mind ever since fall rolled around.
He seemed bemused, a grin on his face. “Costumes? Dear, I believe I'm already a demon. That's enough of a costume, is it not?” He countered.
You groaned. “That's not the point! Its for fun! How about we go as a vampire and helpless maiden?” You pouted.
“Darling, I'm a cannibal. That's basically a vampire. And you're already a helpless maiden to my charms. There's no need for a costume like that,” he teased, sipping his coffee as he enjoyed your offended expression.
“Little red and the big bad wolf?”
“Your cheeks are red enough, and I’m always ready to devour you. No point in dressing up as what we already are.” You ignored his flirtatious and flustering words, as he always said such things with the most innocent expression, as if he weren’t having the time of his life making you blush.
“Ugh, you're impossible! Corpse bride?”
“Hmm? What's that, dear?” He questioned, raising an eyebrow and tilting his head once more.
He startled slightly when you suddenly grabbed his face with your hands. “Oh you sweet summer child. We need to get you culture. Tonight we are having a movie night. I don't wanna hear any objections,” you decided. “I'll be Emily, you'll be Victor.”
He cupped one of your hands on his face, gently easing it off to instead intertwine your fingers. “The title has bride in it. Does that mean you're the bride and I'm the groom?” He pressed a charming kiss to your hand that never failed to make your heart go pit-a-pat.
“Yup. I get to wear white and everything,” you grinned, seeing him genuinely consider it.
“I suppose its an acceptable costume…” After all, he always believed ivory was a pretty color on you.

-Coils his lower half around the reader. Being the only remaining human of the task force he’s very protective of them like the others are.
-During mating season he gives off a foul Oder and makes webs to impress the Reader like Gaz does (They get very competitive with each other)
Funfact: Centipedes are not harmful to humans. In fact they help keep the pests away like cockroaches, moths, flies, silverfish and termites. They also do not make webs or nests indoors. (As much as they terrify me they do take care of the pests)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Praying Mantis Hybrid Soap:
-Has the mantis arms under his normal arms at his sides and cute antennas on his head. (And he has the Mantis tail. I believe it’s called a Metathorax?)
-Hunts like crazy (His urges constantly puts him in hunting mode)
-He’s always bringing back everything he hunts to the Reader (Makes him even happier if you eat what he gives you in front or him-or pretend to)
-Able to fly/glide for a short distance
-For mating season….uh….lets just say mantises are very horny
Funfact: Mantises can turn their heads a Full 180 Degrees. They have very flexible a joint between the head and prothorax that allows them to swivel their heads.
Bonus:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Roach is Roach)
Cockroach Hybrid Roach:
-He has the Roach antennas, and roach arms/legs under his normal arms (He has the roach tail as well)
-Fucking indestructible. (Can literally survive radiation)
-Can literally eat anything (that’s from a living organism
-Cuddles. He’s clingy and always wants a cuddle from the reader after a long mission. (I honestly don’t blame him with the shit the task force goes through on a daily basis)
-Reader is very worried about Roach despite his indestructibility and always panics if he gets hurt during a mission. (He enjoys the attention)
Funfact: Cockroaches like to cuddle. Cockroaches like feeling something solid against their bodies. That’s why they hide in cracks and crevices or even your stacked towels and linens.

taptaptap…
You heard someone tapping on your bedroom window while you were playing video games. You kept the curtains down for a couple of days now so the light wouldn’t distract you from the screen. You didn’t see who it was but you knew nonetheless. You were too busy having fun with your new console so you didn’t budge.
taptapTAP!
“Bee! I know it’s you!”
taptaptaptaptap…
“Stop that! You’re going to break the window!” you shouted while not getting your eyes off the screen.
You could hear him buzzing like a sad bumblebee as he once again, but this time gently, tapped your window.
He made you pause your game. Sighing in irritation, you stood up and spread the curtains. You were welcomed by the sight of Bee’s wide puppy optics and his servo on the window. He let out a sad buzz once again.
“Bee. What do you want?”
To what his optics only widened as his muzzle wobbled.
“I’m busy, can’t you see?” you said and closed the curtains again.
But oh, he’s stubborn. He won’t give up until you give him the attention he wants. He wants Y/N’s cuddles now and he’s gonna get ‘em!
It was quiet until you heard him trying to open your window from the outside.
“That ain’t gonna work, Bee!” you said while trying to concentrate on the game.
He’s smart though. He sneaked one of his wires through the window crack and unlocked it, opening it and scooting away the curtains. He peaked his head into your bedroom and happily buzzed as his antennas wriggled.
“WHA- you’re unbelievable!” you said through a chuckle. You can’t be mad at him, JUST LOOK AT HIM. HE’S ADORABLE.
“Great, you made me lose my game.”
He reached with his servo inside and grabbed your console, ripping it out from the outlet and dragging it outside.
“WHAT ARE YOU- HEY! CAREFUL, IT’S FRAGILE!” you rushed to your window to see him holding it in the air.
He crossed his arms and tapped his foot on the ground like an angry parent.
“Beeeee… come on man…”
“You were playing— too long!— Time for a break!” he sulked over the radio.
“I was about to! After that match!”
“You always say that!”
“Please give it back! You’re going to break it!”
He shook his helm, lifting his chin and pouting, holding it higher in the air.
“Okaaaay.. What do I need to do?”
He opened his one optic, giving you a side eye. He then leaned closer to you and tapped his cheek plate, happily buzzing. Indicating he wants a kiss.
He made you giggle, “So that’s what this is all about huh~?” you said and leaned to give him a kiss but this cheeky little bastard turned his helm in the last moment so you ended up kissing his muzzle. You didn’t mind though, you giggled as he gave a happy little dance shuffle.
He then grabbed you and yeeted your console back inside, damaging it.
“BEE!”
He laughed as he transformed and so you found yourself inside the Camaro.
“You broke it!!!”
“Nothing— Ratchet— can’t fix.” he said as he floored it, heading to the main streets, taking you out for a ride.
You couldn’t help but laugh. You slouched in your seat, “How can I possibly be mad at you?”
“I missed you…”
“I know, Bee… I’m sorry…” you rubbed the steering wheel, “It was kinda selfish… I promise I won’t be so irresponsible anymore.”
He happily buzzed and played “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee on the radio.
“Get ready for the ride of your life, beautiful~!” he used a movie quote.
You finally realized no console or game can replace your actual loved ones. You two enjoyed each other’s company like you used to as you rode into the sunset…
