- dirthamen vallaslin because she had a knack for stepping quietly, sneaking up on people without meaning to, and eavesdropping.

- saeris means “unending dream”, but mostly she goes by her middle/matron name, fel'era (final dream) because: 1) she misses her mama  :[ 2) they named her saeris hoping she would carry the clan forward into a new age of alliance with the world outside their insular culture, and after the explosion at the conclave, they felt pretty disheartened about their ability to actually do that v_v  3) weirdass dreams. YES i’m that basic motherfucker who wants to explore a dreamer inquisitor. let me live

TEMPEST STAFF / VALOR

- so there’s a temple in the western approach where you find a bunch of people fighting around a staff that’s been frozen in time and space. you can get the staff, it’s a cold-damage artifact called Tempest with a skull in it.

- basically one thing led to another with some late night discussions with an rp partner many years ago, and the hc was born that the staff exists both in the material world and in the fade simultaneously. bridges the veil.

- it houses a spirit of valor that gives fel'era strength and helps out with their social + performance anxiety. 

- she’s already fairly open-minded to fade stuff, so getting the staff and communicating with valor felt pretty natural. she just. tells absolutely no one (except maybe solas) about it because she saw how the fuckin place reacted to cole skjdhfdksj 

- BUT YEAH — valor is free to roam between the fade and the staff, so it’s not trapped and chooses to help its friend for funsies and fulfillment!

- it felt like as close to legal as something like this could get without veering into anders territory, because valor isn’t trapped in the material world or really in the material world at all, it’s just sort of got a window through which it can help influence the person wielding the staff (which could lead to very bad things if the staff is put into the wrong hands obviously)

- fel hangs out with valor in her dreams, but does not at all understand what that means because she’s not really Studied. figures that it just has a connection to her and can enter her mindspace, not that she’s literally hanging out in the fade when dreaming

- queen is just out here learning from nature and trying to do her best
