कोलकाता की ईडन गार्डन में भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच T20 सीरीज का पहला मुकाबला आज (22 जनवरी) होना है इंग्लैंड की टीम ने इस मैच के लिए अपनी टीम एक दिन पहले ही 21 जनवरी को घोषित कर दी वहीं भारतीय टीम में किसे मौका मिलेगा इसे लेकर कप्तान सूर्यकुमार यादव और हेड कोच गौतम गंभीर को खूब दिमागी कसरत करनी होगी।

वैसे देखा जाए तो भारतीय टीम ने आखिरी T20 साउथ अफ्रीका के खिलाफ जोहानिसबर्ग में 15 नवंबर को खेला था तब उस मुकाबले में टीम इंडिया 135 रनों से जीत कर सीरीज 3 1 से जीती थी।

कोलकाता T20 में अभिषेक शर्मा संजू सैमसग के साथ ओपन करते हुए दिखाई देंगे वही नंबर तीन पर तिलक वर्मा ही खेलते दिखेंगे क्योंकि वो इस पोजीशन पर खेलते हुए लगातार दो T20 शतक जड़ चुके हैं कप्तान सूर्यकुमार यादव भी तिलक की पोजीशन से छेड़खानी करने से पहले बचना चाहेंगे नंबर चार पर सूर्यकुमार यादव खेलते हुए देखेंगे वही नंबर पांच पर हार्दिक पांड्या और उसके बाद 6 नवंबर पर रिंकू सिंह खेलते हुए दिख सकते हैं।

वहीं नीतीश कुमार रेड्डी मैच की पोजीशन के हिसाब से हार्दिक पांडे से भी ऊपर खेलते हुए दिख सकते हैं उप कप्तान अक्षर पटेल का प्लेइंग इलेवन में होना तय है क्योंकि कोलकाता की पिच स्पिनर्स की मदद करती है अक्षर पटेल के अलावा टीम में दूसरे स्पेशलिस्ट स्पिनर वरुण चक्रवर्ती होंगे इसकी वजह वरुण चक्रवर्ती का अफ्रीका के खिलाफ T20 सीरीज में शानदार प्रदर्शन रहा है वहीं दो तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्मद शमी और अर्शदीप सिंह होंगे हर्षित ���ाणा और वाशिंगटन सुंदर का प्लेइंग 11 में जगह बना पाना मुश्किल है वही रवि बिश्नोई भी प्लेइंग इलेवन में संभवत ना दिखे।

"I couldn’t play the last Test in Sydney due to some stiffness in my back, but it wasn’t a major issue. Currently, I am resting. I’ll start practicing again after 10-15 days. The rest of the decisions are in the management's hands regarding when I’ll be available for matches. I’ve just come back after playing a long stretch of cricket, so I’m also taking a mental break."

He also spoke about his recovery, saying that he is following the advice of NCA and will resume bowling when the team tells him. He added:

"All good. My recovery is on course and since I had been playing non-stop cricket for a considerable period of time, I was advised to off-load for 15 days. I am following the advice of NCA and once they instruct me to start bowling, I will do so," he said in an interview with PTI.

"These small details become very important in handling different situations, and Bumrah Bhai has a lot of knowledge about that. I try to learn as much as I can from him."
