Writer-director Adam Sherman (This Game’s Called Murder) has set the cast for his newest indie feature, the horror comedy Vampires of the Velvet Lounge. Mena Suvari (American Beauty) and Dichen Lachman (Severance) lead the ensemble, which also includes Stephen Dorff (Blade), Rosa Salazar (Alita: Battle Angel), Lochlyn Munro (Peacemaker), India Eisley (I Am the Night), Sarah Dumont (Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse), Mark Boone Jr. (Sons of Anarchy), Tom Berenger (Platoon), Timothy V. Murphy (The Fabulous Four), Sherman Augustus (Strangers Things) and Tyrese Gibson (Fast & Furious franchise).
Drawing inspiration from titles like Shaun of the Dead and From Dusk Till Dawn, the film currently shooting in Georgia [ed. filming has currently wrapped] watches as a coven of the blood-suckers struggles to come to terms with the modern world and their own mortality as they are locked in a battle with a deadly foe.
In addition to Sherman, producers on the project include Marcus Englefield and George Lee for Storyoscopic Films (Animal Crackers). Noémi Santo is co-producing for Adam Sherman Film.
“I’m making a modern-day feature with an amazingly talented cast and crew about the most prolific serial killer in history, the historical countess Elizabeth Bathory, in the style of the ’70s and ’80s horror movies that I grew up watching,” said Sherman. “She believed bathing in the blood of young women would make her live forever, and there’s no physical or scientific evidence that she ever died. I look forward to the day I can share this insane, twisted, and surrealist story with audiences.”
Producers Englefield and Lee added that the film is “a sexy, funny, and original thriller packed with stunts and action that takes viewers on a fun ride. Between Adam’s vision and the stellar performances delivered by our incredible ensemble, we know the film will have strong market appeal both in the U.S. and internationally.”

If we want to promote the boycott of is-not-reali products, we need to give substitutes and options for it.
Now, I also remember sisters asking me for my skincare/haircare routines, and I wanted to give a detailed article on that, but now it ain't about the time.
So, here, I'll try to compile these two topics.
Skincare that's effective without using any israeli/american product.
First of all, I don't have a skincare routine. I don't follow any step by step process. But, I do use products that help me keep my skin clean and hydrated.
And the most important advice I'll give to sisters is not to go for "skincare brands" that give pea sized products in bag size money. These industries are mostly scam. Always go for drugstore products. Those that are created for medicinal purposes oriented towards genuinely healing the skin problems. And if you don't have any active skin problems, don't expose your face to various products for achieving "perfect skin". There's nothing like that. Normal skins have occasional pimples, pigmentations, dark spots and uneven texture.
Anyway.
If you're going for drugstore products...
Go for phrama companies like Cipla and Reddy's Laboratories.
I personally use Reddy's Venusia Max moisturizer as my skin gets extremely dry often. If you have dry n normal (combination) skin you can use it. And if you have oily skin, go for squalane based moisturizers from Derma Co.
Next in line, if you want to use any serums, vit C is best for skins and there's a product by Cipla "Rivella Vit C and HA Serum" it's soothing, and effective. Alhamdulillah.
As a face cleanser or what you call as face wash, there are very brilliant new company products from DeConstruct that I love love love because they are so gentle on face and keep your pH balance and moisture intact (great substitute for Dove soap)
Then there's one more important aspect on skincare that's protection from UV...so you'll need a sunscreen. Go for Regaliz Truederma SPF 50. It's efficient. Alhamdulillah. Or Minimalist Suncreen spf 60 + Niacinamide incase you wanna go economically minimalistic. Derma Co Zinc Sunscreen is good too (one that comes in orange coloured pack)
Now, these four things are more than enough to keep your skin good.
Cleanser, Serum, Moisturizer, Sunblock.
Apart from that if you still wanna have some extra products...not from drugstore but excellent Indian brands...then Go for Pilgrim or Minimalist. They have best the ranges in every product.
And then comes Haircare...
Boycott Garnier. Boycott Loreal Paris. Boycott Head n Shoulders.
Go for St. Botanica. The Shampoos are sooooo great. Allahummaabaarik. SLS, Paraben Free, Actually formulated for cleaning dirt from hairs and reduce hair problems. Conditioners too are effective and they actually work as they advertise. If not St. Botanica, mamaearth would be good...but I didn't see it's results as best as St. Botanica.
For lipbalms though, you can go for Mamaearth. The shades are subtle and help keep your lips hydrated and avoid pigmentations. Stop using Ponds, Vaseline, Nivea. .PLEASE!!!! Their lipbalms do nothing but make your lips darker and greasy.
Makeup, I don't use tbh. But few years back, I had gotten a lipstick from MyGlamm and a Foundation of Biotique. They were good. You can go for it.
Bodywashes, Feet scrubs - Bodywise
Hair removal gels/creams - Sirona
Perfumes - Ajmal / Maison De Fouzdar are best. No doubt.
I'm sharing this post not to promote any sort of "self care" in this situation....but as an essential need of substitutes. Infact these substitutes are way better and effective than the Israeli American products we've been wasting our money on.
I have tried to mention most of the things used by women because that's the biggest market for Israeli products.
If you are an Indian, promote Indian brands 'cause we gotta "make in India" ;)
For that we need to use only that which is "made in India"
Go ahead...you can add anything else I might've missed. And yes...If any Mother's seeing this, let us know baby products that are made in India.
- Umm Taimiyyah 🕊️

The Ultimate Guide to Local SEO Services in Delhi-NCR Boost Your Business Visibility
In the dynamic and competitive business landscape of Delhi-NCR, establishing a robust online presence is no longer optional—it’s a necessity. With countless businesses for the attention of local customers, leveraging Local SEO (Search Engine Optimization) has become the cornerstone of digital marketing success. This comprehensive guide will delve into the nuances of Local SEO services in Delhi-NCR, exploring how they can elevate your business and help you connect with your target audience effectively.
Understanding Local SEO
Local SEO refers to the process of optimizing a business's online presence to attract more customers from relevant local searches. These searches typically occur on Google and other search engines and include terms like “near me,” or location-specific keywords such as “Best Restaurants in Connaught Place” or “Top Plumbers in Gurgaon.”
By leveraging Local SEO, businesses can:
Appear in Google’s Local Pack (the map section that shows nearby businesses).
Improve visibility on Google My Business (GMB) profiles.
Drive more foot traffic and inquiries.
Build trust with local customers.
Why Local SEO is Essential for Delhi-NCR Businesses
Delhi-NCR is a sprawling metropolitan region with diverse demographics and industries. Whether you run a retail store in Karol Bagh, a tech startup in Gurugram, or a restaurant in Noida, your target audience is likely searching online for services and products you offer. Here’s why Local SEO is a game-changer:
High Mobile Search Volume: Delhi-NCR sees a surge in mobile searches, with users looking for quick and nearby solutions.
Competitive Market: The region is home to thousands of businesses, making it crucial to stand out through local search rankings.
Localized Marketing: Local SEO allows businesses to tailor their marketing strategies to specific neighborhoods, ensuring higher relevance and engagement.
Key Elements of Local SEO Services
To harness Local SEO's power, Delhi-NCR businesses need a well-rounded strategy. Here are the key components:
1. Google My Business (GMB) Optimization
A well-optimized GMB profile is the foundation of Local SEO. Here’s what you need to do:
Claim and verify your business listing.
Provide accurate NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) details.
Add high-quality images and videos.
Encourage customer reviews and respond to them promptly.
2. Local Keywords Research
Using location-specific keywords like “Boutique in South Delhi” or “IT Services in Noida” ensures your website ranks for relevant searches. Tools like Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush can help identify high-impact keywords.
3. On-Page SEO
Enhance your website with on-page optimizations, including:
Adding localized meta titles and descriptions.
Creating location-based landing pages.
Embedding Google Maps for better accessibility.
4. Local Citations and Directories
Ensure your business is listed consistently across local directories like Justdial, Sulekha, and India Marts (for restaurants). Consistency in your NAP details builds credibility with search engines.
5. Reviews and Reputation Management
Positive reviews significantly influence local search rankings. Encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews on your GMB profile and other review platforms.
6. Mobile-Friendly Website
With most local searches happening on mobile devices, having a responsive and fast-loading website is essential.
7. Backlink Building
Acquire quality backlinks from reputable local websites, blogs, and publications. This improves domain authority and signals trustworthiness to search engines.
Benefits of Local SEO for Delhi-NCR Businesses
Investing in Local SEO services can yield numerous benefits, including:
Increased Visibility: Appear prominently in search results when potential customers look for services in your area.
Higher Foot Traffic: Drive more customers to your physical store or office location.

Growing demand for processed, ready to eat, and packed food and increasing women workforce are expected to increase the market demand in the upcoming years. In addition, increase in disposable income and changing consumer lifestyle in emerging economies including China and India are anticipated to increase the demand for soups.
Consumption of canned and dried soup products is increasing in North America and Europe, on account of continuous product innovation as per customer behavior and preferences. In addition, growing economic independence among women is increasing the consumption of packed and processed food products in the developed countries.
Soup being a healthy source of vitamins, minerals, nutrition, and protein serves as a prominent replacement for home cooked food. Therefore, this evolution in the working population is anticipated to significantly influence the demand for soup in future. Demand for soups in restaurants, food outlets, and food joints is expected to acquire a small market share due to growing consumer preference for ready to eat products and rising inclination towards healthy food habits.
Continuous use of cornstarch and salt in canned and dried soup products is expected to act as a restraining factor in the global market. High consumption of corn starch can lead to several health issues like increased level of blood sugar and blood pressure. However, continuous product development by companies such as Campbell Soup Company, which provides new flavors like roasted red pepper and tomato, butternut squash and sweet potato, and harvest carrot and ginger, is expected to influence the buying behavior of the younger population across the globe. The global ENT devices market size is anticipated to reach USD 37.72 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 5.54% from 2024 to 2030, according to a new report by Grand View Research, Inc. The growth can be attributed to factors such as a rising geriatric population, high prevalence of hearing loss, and increasing penetration of minimally invasive surgeries. Technological advancements in this field, an increase in healthcare investment for early detection of diseases, and favorable regulatory policies are other factors expected to drive the market’s growth.
The risk of poor immunity increases with age, making older people more vulnerable to disorders of the nose and throat. To address this issue, elderly people need regular check-ups for ENT disorders, which is leading to a rise in demand for ENT devices. According to the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID), over 12 million people in the UK suffered from hearing loss. Out of these, over 40% of people were in the 50s & above, and more than 70% of people were in the 70s & above.

Rise of Electric Powertrain Market: Trends and Predictions
The global electric powertrain market was valued at USD 83.30 billion in 2022 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.3% from 2023 to 2030. The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the automotive industry, leading to a reduction in electric powertrain growth due to decreased automotive sales and changing requirements. However, the implementation of stringent emission regulations by government bodies—such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) establishing emission standards for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, BS-VI norms in India, and China VI regulations—is propelling market growth. Additionally, the recovery of sales in both pure and hybrid electric vehicles following the pandemic serves as a key driver for the electric powertrain sector. The increasing acceptance of electric cars, along with attractive government incentives aimed at boosting domestic electric vehicle production, is also expected to enhance the global demand for electric powertrains.
Electric vehicles are increasingly viewed as the future of the automotive industry, with traditional fuel vehicles anticipated to decline over the coming years. These electric vehicles are gaining popularity due to their environmental advantages and lower total cost of ownership compared to internal combustion engine vehicles. In response, many countries have introduced rigorous policies to promote the adoption of alternative fuel vehicles, particularly electric ones.

Component Insights
The battery segment held the largest market share at 63.6% in 2022, highlighting its critical role in vehicle electrification. Batteries serve as the primary power source for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and are also integrated with other power sources in hybrid and green vehicles. Notably, in BEVs, the battery pack accounts for approximately 50% of the total vehicle cost, underscoring its significance in the overall electric vehicle framework. The growth of this segment is driven by several factors, including a rising demand for electric vehicles, advancements in battery technology, and supportive policies from governments that promote electric vehicle adoption.
On the other hand, the motor/generator segment is expected to experience a remarkable compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 30% throughout the forecast period. This surge in demand for electric motors is largely fueled by the increasing adoption of BEVs and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) worldwide. These types of vehicles often utilize similar configurations for their electric motors, which facilitates manufacturing and reduces costs. Furthermore, suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are poised to take advantage of the growing need for electric powertrains by forming strategic joint ventures aimed at developing and enhancing electric motor technologies. For example, in 2019, Nidec Corp., a well-known e-motor manufacturer, partnered with GAC Components Co., Ltd. to establish a joint venture focused on the production of automotive traction motors. This collaboration illustrates the proactive steps being taken within the industry to meet the rising demand for innovative electric powertrain solutions.

By Subhash Chandra Agrawal Shocking incident of adulterated ghee having been used in prasad of laddoos in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam during earlier regime raised big concern about purity of desi ghee and other milk-products sold for consumption by masses. There are reports of even synthetic milk sold in market. Allow sale of only branded milk at least in metro cities With government-owned Mother Dairy and co-operative giant Amul apart from some other private companies now dominating National Capital Region of Delhi in supply of milk and milk-products, sale of only branded milk may be permitted in the capital city. There are other reputed co-operative giants like Vita, Verka, Sudha, Saras and Nandini dominating sale of branded milk and milk products in respective states. Therefore, sale of only branded milk may be permitted in cities with availability of plenty branded milk. Discourage production khoya-based sweets and encourage home-made paneer Consumption of khoya during festive-season of Diwali in Delhi much exceeds all probable capacity through practical availability of milk to produce so much khoya. Demand of khoya in festive season evidently can only be fulfilled through adulterated khoya available in open market. Apart from launching a massive educative campaign through electronic and print media against use and exchange of sweets during festive season (sweets are otherwise harmful in consumption with ever-increasing diabetic patients in the country), every effort should be made to increase production of branded khoya by reputed manufactures in public, private and co-operative sector. Regular checks with sweet-dealers for checking adulterated khoya can discourage confectioners for not making khoya-based sweets. It is indeed ridiculous that GST-rate on sweets considered harmful for health, is just 5-percent while on other food-items, it is 12 or 18 percent! Sale of unbranded paneer should also be discouraged through massive educative campaign launched by central and state governments to use home-made paneer from branded milk. Mother dairy and Amul having appreciable market-share in Delhi should also arrange door-delivery of khoya for bulk-purchasers on advance-booking. Mother Dairy markets khoya. But because of extra-ordinary fat-content, its product is not only costlier but is much hard to use. Mother Dairy should decrease fat-content in khoya to make it softer with its price comparable with that of khoya sold in open market by unorganised sector. Fat-content of khoya can be used for production of ghee and butter to increase profitability. Packaging of milk and milk-products should be in true metric spirit Namaste India branded milk marketed in Delhi by NIF limited has adopted anti-consumer practice through gimmick packing of its milk in packs of 950 mltrs and 1900 mltrs printed in tiny little alphabets to look alike packs of one and two ltrs respectively to befool customerss. Other milk products marketed by other milk-companies including like Mother Dairy and Amul are at times in odd packings like 400 mltrs or gms, 250 mltrs or gms, 450 mltrs or gms etc Milk and all milk-products including also Ghee must be compulsorily packed in true metric-spirit compulsorily in either packs of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 and likewise gms, mltrs, ltrs and kgms only as the case may be. Bigger milk packs presently packed in packs of six ltrs then can be packed in packs of five ltrs. Rule should cover Ghee also which should be packed in big packs of 10 or 20 kgs or ltrs rather than of 15 kgs or ltrs as at present. Moreover, products like Ghee should be uniformly packed in packs of ltrs only and not in kgs to avoid confusion. Consumers are confused in comparing prices of different brands where some marketers pack in ltrs while others pack in kgs. Co-operative giant Amul ranking 15th in top 100 most valuable food brands in the world – needs to be encouraged further in larger public-interest of India It is a matter
of pride for cooperative sector in India when Amul ranked 15th in top 100 most valuable food-brands in the world according to the Brand Finance Food and Drink 2021 report with private-sector Britannia being the only other Indian company to find 54th place. Both these companies should be encouraged and entrusted in larger public-interested. For example, long-awaited implementation of tender-results of handing over loss-generating Delhi Milk Scheme to Amul requiring to be done urgently. With too many complaints coming in mid-day meal programme in schools and railway-catering, Amul (and Britannia too) can be entrusted to supply packaged food-items for mid-day meal programme and railway catering. Central and state governments are already providing huge comforts to certain newly emerging companies by allotting land and tax-concessions. These should be provided at least to cooperative giant Amul if not to private sector Britannia. Such encouragement will not only be in public interest, but will also induce healthy competition amongst other Indian companies to find place in top 100 most valuable food-brands in the world. Top management of public-sector companies like Mother Dairy and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) should be pulled up for being so behind Amul and Britannia despite heavy public-money invested in these public-sector companies. Panchamrit by Amul : Should be entrusted to prepare Prasad for famous Hindu temples Co-operative milk-giant Amul has ntroduced Panchamrit, a holy mix of milk, curd, honey, powdered sugar and ghee which is used to offer to deities in Hindu temples to be later consumed as prasad by devotees. Considering use of adulterated ghee at in prasad of laddoos in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam during earlier regime, calls for entrusting reputed co-operative giants like Amul and public-sector companies to prepare prasads in famous Hindu temples of the country. Loss-making Delhi Milk Scheme (DMS) should be immediately transferred to Amul as per tender-results for best utilisation of DMS resources including its milk-booths Co-operative giant Amul had won over Mother Dairy to take over Delhi Milk Scheme DMS running in heavy losses at an annual lease of rupees 42.30 crore against rupees 42.20 offered by Mother Dairy for 30 years with 7-percent annual increase in lease-amount in the bid opened on 27.11.2018. DMS started in the year 1959 having already piled up losses to tune of rupees 900 crores was decided to be given by central government to some market-leader. Presently 564 DMS booths scattered on prime public-land throughout the capital city of India are being grossly misused as private shops (photo of a DMS milk-booth attached) by the licensees in corrupt partnership of DMS-personnel by authorisation to sell products other than from DMS. It is to be noted that Mother Dairy booths in Delhi-NCR sell only Mother Dairy products, a big reason for success of Mother Dairy. However, in case Central Government does not accept Amul-bid, then it should merge DMS together with all its 564 booths with government-owned Mother Dairy. DMS, a “White Elephant” on public-exchequer with regular reduction in its utilization capacity from 43.20 percent in the year 2019-20 to 21.60 percent in the year 2023-24. Mother Dairy should also be declared public authority under RTI also because it is part of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) which is already a public authority under RTI Act. . Hot and Cold Therapy Packs Market Set to Surpass $2 Billion by 2030
According to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Network (RASN), around 1% of the global population is currently affected by rheumatoid arthritis, with over 1.3 million individuals in the U.S. living with this chronic condition. Additionally, the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) reports that osteoporosis leads to more than 8.9 million fractures annually, impacting approximately 500 million people worldwide. The increasing prevalence of orthopedic conditions such as arthritis and osteoporosis is driving a significant demand for hot and cold therapy packs globally.
Moreover, the rising incidence of road accidents is also contributing to the growth of the hot and cold therapy packs market, which is expected to expand at a CAGR of 7.7% between 2021 and 2030. Market revenue is predicted to grow from $981.9 million in 2020 to $2,008.2 million by 2030. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), road traffic accidents result in non-fatal injuries for around 20–50 million people each year, often leading to long-term disabilities. People recovering from such injuries, as well as those managing orthopedic pain, frequently use cold and hot therapy packs.
Cold therapy packs are particularly popular due to their ability to alleviate pain and reduce inflammation, making them more widely used than hot therapy packs. They are commonly utilized by individuals with chronic joint and bone pain, as well as athletes recovering from sports injuries. On the other hand, hot therapy packs, including dry and moist varieties, are effective for managing pain associated with sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and neuropathic conditions.
Manufacturers of hot and cold therapy packs are increasingly forming partnerships to expand their reach among people suffering from orthopedic conditions. For instance, Halyard Health Inc. acquired CoolSystems Inc. in June 2018 for $65 million, aiming to enhance its pain management offerings with products like the Med4 Elite multi-modality therapy unit, GRPro 2.1 cold and compression system, and ATX wraps. Other companies such as IceWraps, Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Xiamen Artborne Industrial Co. Ltd., and Beurer GmbH are also engaging in strategic collaborations.
P&S Intelligence reports that the North American region has been the largest market for hot and cold therapy packs in recent years, a trend expected to continue. This dominance is primarily due to the high prevalence of orthopedic conditions such as osteoporosis and arthritis. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed that from 2017 to 2018, 18% of American women and 4.2% of American men aged 50 and above were diagnosed with osteoporosis of the femur neck or lumbar spine.
In the future, the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is anticipated to witness significant demand for these products, driven by the growing elderly population and increasing cases of orthopedic conditions. According to the WHO, osteoarthritis is the most common joint disease in India, affecting about 45% of women and 70% of men over the age of 65. HelpAge International projects that the population of individuals aged over 60 in India will grow from 139 million in 2019 to 319 million by 2050.
In conclusion, the rising prevalence of orthopedic disorders and the increasing number of road accident cases worldwide will continue to drive the demand for hot and cold therapy packs globally.

Best Varieties to Try
The world of dark chocolate is vast, and India’s chocolatiers have embraced a range of exciting varieties that cater to diverse tastes. Here are some of the best varieties you can find:
Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt
One of the most popular combinations, dark chocolate with a hint of sea salt, balances the bitterness of cocoa with the sharpness of salt, creating a flavor explosion. Brands like Amul, The Coco Love, and Mason & Co offer excellent options in this variety.
Dark Chocolate with Nuts and Berries
For those who love texture in their chocolate, dark chocolate bars studded with almonds, hazelnuts, or dried berries offer the perfect bite. Pascati’s dark chocolate with raspberry is a favorite for those who want a mix of tartness and richness.
Dark Chocolate Infused with Spices
Indian flavors shine in dark chocolate infused with spices like cinnamon, cardamom, or chili. Brands like Soklet and Mason & Co have perfected this blend, offering a unique, flavorful experience that reflects the spice heritage of India.
How to Choose the Right Dark Chocolate for You
With so many choices, how do you pick the right dark chocolate for yourself? Here are a few tips:
Cocoa Percentage: For beginners, start with a 55–60% cocoa bar for a balance of sweetness and bitterness. If you love intense flavors, go for 75% or higher.
Flavor Additions: If you prefer a sweet twist, choose bars with nuts, fruits, or spices.
Texture: Some chocolates are smooth and creamy, while others are crunchy with added ingredients like nuts or nibs. Pick based on your preference.
