[Temp Post]
Quick update to all the lovely people who follow. I’m still alive but going through the grind in my doctorate program right now and haven’t had a lot of time to shoot and edit. My camera’s been collecting a bit of dust but I have plenty more images to post once I get the time again (T-minus 1 month before the end of my didactics!). But I got to take out my camera for a few pics during my medical mission trip to the DR so I’m excited to have some new stuff to share down the line but here’s some quick edits from the trip.

Three Museums, Constitution Plaza, and Interesting Chilean Drinks
On March 9-10, we made three short to very short visits to three more museums, the Gabriela Mistral Education Museum, which we visited on the afternoon after our visit to the Memory Museum, the Pre-Columbian Art museum, and Pablo Neruda’s House. Inca Kola Review
3 out of 10
I can immediately tell this is a cola champagne. Sadly, I’m not a big fan of cola champagne. I did not realize what this flavor was when I purchased it. I do like this particular version more than some others I’ve tried I think because it’s less sweet. This one is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. I’m unsure of the country of origin, but it was purchased from a Latin American restaurant that carried specialty sodas. Interestingly I do see that the soda is made by Coca Cola. An internet search tells me this soda is Peruvian. This soda contains 37mg of caffeine. Other cola champagnes I’ve tried were non caffeinated so I found that to be odd. I really just don’t like the taste of cola champagne so I’m not a fan of this one, but it’s kind of fun that it offers a caffeine boost.

Life is so shapeless. Stories well-told make the real thing seem a continuous disappointment and saddle each of us with a secret feeling of inadequacy. Reality never coheres. Its narrative is either incoherent or it is a lie.
