I don’t want to do that thing... you know the thing. Where the trailer ends up showing the one funny part of a movie and sets expectations so high that actually watching the full film leaves you in a state of disappointment. But I’m super pleased with this scene from a WIP so. You know. Bleep it.

Also, leaving it behind the jump because it’s not like, NSFW, but it features “adultish” themes (also of course something sarcastic from Penny’s POV��makes its way into my first WIP post ever).

Premise: AU where Simon and Baz didn’t form a truce, the two never got together, Baz was never kidnapped by numpties, and Simon defeated the humdrum on his own. Simon wakes up post-Watford and finally understands what Baz was plotting.

He shakes his head. “Penny, I had his wank schedule memorized. Who does that?”

“Two strikes,” I warn.

“That is relevant information!” He huffs.

“It most certainly is not!” I let him steep in the awkwardness he’s created for a bit. Then, my curiosity gets the better of me. “Ok but actually now I need to know. How did you make this schedule? Was there a chart or...”

“I just. I mean. When he. And.” Simon sputters, his face turning red. “Look, it’s too embarrassing to say now that I know why I was paying attention!”

“How is noticing when your roommate touches himself because you have feelings for him worse than you thinking his orgasms were somehow relevant to his plotting?” I’m inches away from maniacal laughter. “Like, what could Baz have possibly been scheming with his prick in his hand? Besides how best to spell away the evidence?”

I don’t wanna lie to my mom, but when she asks me how I’ve been I can’t just say “I’ve been wanting to die for a while, my skin knows it well recently… As much as I try to avoid cutting myself sometimes is the only way this weight that is crushing me lifts for a bit… This thought are getting harder to silence and I think I’m losing my mind… I’m sorry!” So I delete some of the words and just answer “I’ve been well recently…”

To anyone who ever cared about me

I know no one will actually find this cause I’m pretty invisible and insignificant on here but fuck it.  If you cared about me I probably cared about you too and if we were on bad terms I didn’t want it to be that way. Anyway. If this thing kills me I’m sorry. I love drugs. I love getting high and it didn’t matter how I did it. By the time I die I’ll probably have done a little of everything. Or a lot. I’m sorry I wasn’t a better friend, partner, sister, or daughter. I’m fucking sorry if this is how everything ends because the pain you’re probably gonna feel will be more than I ever expected anyone to care about me in the first place. I’ll die with my regrets and that’s ok. Just know that I loved you and no one could have saved me.
