Can There Only Be One Nigerian Queen?
One of the biggest mysteries this season is the family feud between Wendy Osefo and Nneka Ihim.
What is the cause of this animosity?
The feud had allegedly started when Nneka was signed as a housewife on RHOP.
After she was connected to the show, her cousin-in-law Lebe had been contacted by her friend of 13 years, Wendy’s eldest sister, Ivy.
Nneka was told that Wendy was upset with her for using her name to come on the show, while Nneka swore that she had never claimed to be her friend.
Wendy’s mother had also contacted Nneka’s cousin-in-law to ask all sorts of questions.
She had allegedly implied that she would pray against Nneka.
Why else would she mention her shrine where she prays against people?
A part of me thought that Wendy knew that her mother had made that phone call to Nneka’s family, and therefore decided to show more of her religious side this season.
It was literally the first thing she said this season: “You know I’m a Catholic, right?”
I don’t think they’re faking being Catholics, but I believe they’re using their religion as a deflection of the allegations they know are coming their way.
And did Wendy bring her own friend, Keiana Stewart, on the show in hopes of forcing Nneka out?
But why would Wendy and her family have such a strong reaction to Nneka joining the show.
Even Eddie Osefo denied knowing Nneka’s husband Ikenna Ihim, which made it weirder.
I understand that being friends on Facebook doesn’t automatically mean that you are friends, but why did Eddie unfollow him in the first place?
Wendy and her family don’t want Nneka to be on the show, and I must ask myself why.
Can there only be one Nigerian Queen on the show?
Ashley Darby even said in her confessional that it would be easier for Wendy to just admit that she wanted to the only Nigerian on the show.
Because that is what it seems like anyway.
There can only be one Nigerian Princess on RHOP and that would be Dr. Wendy Osefo.

A Desperate Attempt at Deflection
This group need to work out their issues and actually talk together. If this keeps on the entire season, there will be changes with the cast.
I’ve noticed that Gizelle Bryant is more muted this season. I’ve noticed that most of the women don’t interact with each other.
Gizelle needs to drop the “Chris Bassett made me uncomfortable” thing already!
Andy Cohen even asked if they were living in the Victorian era!
I don’t even know what she wants from Candiace Dillard Bassett, but what Candiace deserves from Gizelle is an apology.
Be done with it!
The only ones who are sharing the true life right now is Nneka Ihim and Mia Thornton.
Mia is going through some serious shit.
She went to couple therapy with Gordon Thornton, and they’re of different opinions when it comes to their situation.
The attorney who had handled their property sale, stole their money, and when they had reported it, he committed suicide!
Mia blames herself and she’s tortured by the thought if they ruined his life over money.
She also admitted that she had attained divorce papers, but it didn’t seem like she had signed them or filed them, and Gordon didn’t appear shocked by the news.
After Mia had had an emotional conversation with Robyn Dixon about this, she’s immediately met with the mean tweets Wendy Osefo’s mom posted about her.
Like, give the girl a break!
But when Nneka had told Robyn about the shrine and that Wendy’s mom was praying against people, Robyn started to think if her name was on the shrine as well.
Because of everything that has gotten wrong the last couple of years.
This curse thing is going to gain a life of its own it’s not resolved soon.
It seemed like Wendy tried to confuse the women with all the information Nneka had.
But Nneka did catch her in a lie.
There’s footage of her praising Lebe, Nneka’s cousin-in-law, yet she tried to claim that she’s not her friend.
I do think Wendy and Eddie Osefo are lying about not knowing Nneka and Ikenna Ihim.

A Window to a Devastating Past
Karen Huger had invited the women to her Pave event, to bring awareness to the foundation who support women who has survived sexual assault.
When I was a student, it got into my head that every woman on earth will experience harassment or sexual assault at some point in her life.
Thankfully there are women who hasn’t, but as we learned in this episode, there were more women than we thought who had experience sexual assault.
For Mia Thornton it was a battle to even show up to the event. It was a triggering experience for her, and she had to have a moment by herself to get through that day.
Ashley Darby went after her to see if she was okay, and Mia didn’t really want to talk about it.
But she mentioned that something had happened with Jacqueline Blake’s boyfriend when they were younger, and she still struggle with resentment for Jacqueline.
On top of everything Mia is going through right now, this must have been a difficult day for her.
She seems genuinely traumatized by what happened with their attorney, and she’s reluctant to pursuit legal actions in Gordon Thornton’s family feud.
In the middle of their separation case now, Gordon accuses Mia of being a gold digger.
But this season Mia repeatedly says that she doesn’t value money over the wellbeing of other people. Is this a conscious choice by Mia?
Speaking of schemes, though… Nothing can convince me that Wendy Osefo and her mother Iyom Susan Okuzu aren’t doing damage control with the shrine situation.
The only shrine they know of is the one in the Catholic church. Okay.
And even Wendy’s mother acted like she didn’t know who Nneka Ihim was, when it has been well established that there is a connection between the two families.
It just doesn’t feel authentic when it comes to Wendy and the way she and her family reacts to Nneka and Ikenna Ihim.
I don’t really care about the shrine, but what I am annoyed by, is the way they deflect and denies knowing them. And it’s embarrassing.

Fire at the Pickleball Court
It seems like Karen Huger arranged that pickleball event to help this group getting back together again.
She didn’t know about the shrine of it all though.
You could touch the tension on that pickleball court with a knife. From the start.
There are so many people in this group that doesn’t get along. It seems like they hate their guts.
Candiace Dillard Bassett, Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon still hasn’t spoken this season.
Last season ended ugly, but at some point, they need to move on.
And when Robyn entered with Juan Dixon, it kind of was a moment. A Juan Moment.
But it’s painfully obvious that he can’t stand drama. Well, at least there were no drama about him this time though.
Even if he kind of started a fire with the food, but why would someone place a buffet right next to the court?
I blame the hosts for that little mishap.
However, as soon as the women started to argue he went back to the pickleball.
He looked over to Nneka Ihim’s husband and said: “Welcome to the circus!” Yeah, Juan doesn’t like drama.
When Nneka was assigned to Wendy Osefo’s team, you could already tell that Wendy was acting like she didn’t avoid her, but she did.
There was no eye contact, no greeting.
Nneka compared Eddie Osefo to the film “Get Out”, but the same could be said about Wendy.
She was acting like someone else that day.
The way Wendy and Eddie was handling the situation with Nneka and Ikenna Ihim made me exhausted.
They appeared like two desperate people working overtime to get control of the narrative.
But while Nneka and Wendy were arguing, Karen cracked me up.
The nervous munching on pickles and blaming Gizelle for this fiasco – and for once, Gizelle has done nothing to fire up this scene – made me laugh.
On the sideline, Robyn and Ashley Darby had already made up their minds.
They could see that Wendy was shutting Nneka down so she can’t finish her sentences, so they suspect that Wendy knows about this family feud.
