dear dead boy detective (especially paynland) enjoyers: have you yet heard of the biggest gift bestowed upon the fandom so far, aka jayden's charles playlist? the one he mentioned in interviews? well, he dropped it on twitter at 19th of may. and man, do i have stuff to say about it.
there's a lot of 80's bangers, for sure, great to get into the mood and character, but some of the choices...
i'm gonna focus on a few of my favourites, songs that made me go insane when i saw them. honorable mentions: - category 1 (so devoted the lines blur): ain't no mountain high enough by marvin gaye and tammi terrell, there is a light that never goes out by the smiths, inkpot gods by the amazing devil - category 2 (family life): family line and summer child by conan gray, seventeen going under by sam fender, matilda by harry styles, father by the front bottoms - category 3 (being queer in the 80s): smalltown boy by bronski beat, boys don't cry by the cure - category 4 (there's no heterosexual explanation for this one): good luck, babe! by chappel roan, yellow by coldplay, fight or flight by conan gray (is this about monty? the cat king? i need answers!), the prophecy by taylor swift, arms tonite by mother mother, sweet by cigarettes after sex, head over heels by tears for fears
this list is by no means complete or comprehensive!
and now, the songs that made me go the craziest: (they're predominantly in charles' pov as it's his playlist)
found heaven by conan gray
the only reason this song made it into the list and not the honorable mentions instead of smalltown boy is that it makes almost the same point, just so much more explicitly. i don't think i have to say much about it, it's a story of a young person griping with their queerness, being forced to leave home, a common theme of the playlist. "you're in love, you found heaven" when he chose edwin over his own afterlife, heavily implied to be heaven, and built his heaven with him on the mortal plane? ouch! (and we see this same notion repeated in another bop from the playlist, heaven is a place on earth by belinda carlisle).
2. like real people do by hozier
"i miss kissing" charles rowland, 202X romantic meaning aside, the verses show a sort of a common understanding the boys have around the manner of their deaths and their lives before it. we already know from the show they don't really talk about it, with edwin not knowing about the severity of the abuse charles suffered. it feels like one of them saying "let the past be past, we're together now, yeah?". but also, jayden: can there ever be a platonic explanation for this? ghosts can't touch, can't feel, so they wish they could just kiss like "real" (alive?) people do?
3. flaws by bastille
not the most romantic song, but i absolutely love how well it fits their dynamic. despite his edwardian brand of repression, edwin truly is the one that's more open about his feelings (recognising of course that in this case, the bar is so low it's in hell. haha, get it). edwin has worn his flaws upon his sleeve, and charles has held them buried - eg. bottling up all of his anger and resentment towards his family and his own death. the song presents a very sweet outlook, in which their flaws are brought up to the surface (for example, charles' outburst against the night nurse in episode 4), but they learn to accept them as they are, an extension of themselves.
4. a pearl by mitski
you know it's gonna get intense if there's a mitski song in the mix.
the song is about a person who finds love in their partner, someone who treats them way better than they've ever been treated - and yet they cannot bring themselves to reciprocate the affection ("it's not that i don't want you, sorry i can't take your touch") despite reciprocating the feelings themselves because of the trauma. charles is known to bottle things up ("you're growing tired of me and all the things i don't talk about"). the person in the song recognises the love the other person holds for them ("you love me so hard and i still can't sleep"), which reminds me of charles' response to edwin's confession. not a "no", but a "maybe, as time passes".
5. fair by the amazing devil
this one made me genuinely gasp when i first delved into the lyrics. it's simply so sweet, such a genuine and domestic portrayal of love. at first i thought it was way too open about being a love song (normal text instead of the subtext i'd be used to) for jayden to choose it with edwin in mind, but... there's no one else it can really be about. it's far too domestic, too "established" to refer to crystal. refers to a relationship that's laster for a longer while.
the narrator in the first verse is a person deeply in love with the other person, someone who loves to make his lover laugh and simply drinks in their presence. the "he" in the song i believe is charles, while the "she" refers to edwin. edwin promises to fight off anyone - or any feelings pulling charles down (we can see this in the first episode: "you ever think... what if death did catch us? she'd force us to go to the afterlife and split up" "i will make sure this never happens."). charles feels left behind by the world (seeing as he clings to crystal at first, refering to her as "someone their age who's still alive") and believes edwin to be so much stronger than he's ever been. i'm not going to break down the song verse by verse, but if you read it yourself while subbing out "he" for charles and "she" for edwin you'll see just how sweet (and... strangely very in character?) the song is.
6. work song by hozier
if the previous song made me gasp when i saw the lyrics, this one made me go "NO WAY" out loud when i saw the title. the first one verse is just pure toothrotting sweetness, but the chorus is what i want to draw attention to:
when my time comes around lay me gently in the cold, dark earth no grave can hold my body down i'll crawl home to her
HELLO? charles, who keeps escaping death and afterlife to be able to stay with edwin? charles, as he literally takes his last breath with edwin right there, choosing to be by his side rather than move on? charles, who keeps choosing him despite night nurse's promises and threats? charles, who literally crawled through hell for him?
verse 2, to me, can be interpreted as referring to when charles died. edwin found him at his worst, and he "woke" up with his presence comforting him. he was shivering due to hypothermia and his injuries. edwin didn't ask him about what happened or pushed him, he simply listened. the lines "i didn't care much how long i lived, but I swear, i thought i dreamed her" are pretty self explanatory.
in verse 3 we still see the same attitude of "damn the afterlife, at least we have each other" as charles portrays througout the series. they're free, and heaven and hell are simply words to him.
7. orpheus by vincent lima
i literally have no words for this one. it fits too well. if you want commentary for this one, just... i don't know, rewatch the staircase scene.
8. francesca by hozier
(cracks knuckles) this is the big one. the album francesca is from, unreal unearth, is based on dante alighieri's divine comedy, a fourteenth century poem about a man venturing into hell, purgatory and eventually heaven. the eponymous francesca is one francesca di rimini, a woman who was politically married off to a man older than her, called giovanni malatesta. francesca didn't love him, and eventually fell deep in love with giovanni's younger brother, paolo. the two carried on with the affair for years, before being murdered by giovanni upon his finding out. francesca and paolo are mentioned in canto v of the first book, inferno, as two souls damned in the second circle of hell, lust. their punishment is to be permanently locked in a hurricane, swept away by the winds the moment they manage to get close enough to touch one another.
as opposed to their portrayal in the poem, the song is from the perspective of paolo, explaining that no matter the punishment, he wouldn't change anything about his life because he got to know, and love, francesca.
the first verse brings to mind the scenes in hell, especially on the staircase ("do you think I'd give up? that this might've shook the love from me? or that I was on the brink? how could you think, darlin', i'd scare so easily?" as an echo of charles' "sorry. no version of this where i didn't come get you"). "my life was a storm since i was born, how could i fear any hurricane?" could relate to charles' tumultuous family life, an assurance that nothing he has to deal with while by edwin's side will faze him given the things he's lived through. no, despite everything he's suffered through, charles wouldn't do anything differently - because his (admittedly shitty) life led him to edwin ("i'd tell them, put me back in"). we already know charles would choose him over heaven, willingly sacrificing his own afterlife to stay with a boy he's known for hours, someone kind enough to keep him company as he drew his final breath. all of it - his father's abuse, his schoolmates' bigotry, the pain of his own death, as well as everything he's gone through since - he'd do it all again, for edwin.
"for all that was said of where we'd end up at the end of it" could be taken as an allusion to the fate the boys would meet at "at the end of it", when they're finally caught by death and separated, or as more of a general "if you sin, you will go to hell when you die" (up to you to decide what the sin itself would be - an interpretation that would work with other songs on the playlist is that one such sin would be same sex attraction). then their hearts ceased, they never knew "peace", nor did they want to find it in death. their deaths were too soon, them being ripped away from life, but even though it would break his heart: charles would ask to do it all again.
the outro, i think, beautifully pulls it all together: heaven is not fit to house a love like theirs.
to wrap it all up:
jayden, what were you cooking in there? what do you know??

INTERVIEW: "Ferrari, I won't stop believing in it. I see myself as world champion" (La Repubblica, 2022)
source: alessandra retico, la repubblica published: june 15th, 2022 series: f1, 2022
excerpts:
Do you envy Verstappen at all? No and I don't think he envies anything about me either. We are two different drivers, I focus on myself to be the best version of myself, I will never be someone else. I am happy with my development and will continue to evolve.
You're very tidy on the track, are you also very tidy in your private life? No, I'm messy. I reserve order and discipline for motorsport.
In the film [Lightyear], there is a kiss between two women that has already created controversy: does it surprise you? For me, homosexuality is a completely normal thing, I have gay friends, I don't understand how today there are people who don't understand that love is for everyone. F1 must lend a hand to those who don't have such a powerful voice to express difficulties in everyday life.
They have given you many names: predestined, prince, which one do you recognize yourself in? They are all positive and make me very happy, but what I like most is what my father gave me, pins à roulettes when I started racing, I was 4-5 years old, I was all small and you could only see the big helmet.
Were you never afraid? No, never, even if looking back at the accidents I tell myself I was lucky.
What did you buy with your first paycheck? A 1969 Fiat 500, off-white, convertible. The side-by-side? I didn't have too much trouble driving it. Then I went to Indonesia in Bali with my best friends.
A pinhead with wheels underneath. The yellow helmet was so big and he was so small, that his father called him pins à roulettes: "It's the image that corresponds to me and I like best about myself." Even though Dad Hervé is no longer here, Charles Leclerc still goes fast and stings the heart with the same ardor as when he was a child. He has a Ferrari to do it. "I want to become world champion , I will believe in it until it is no longer mathematically possible." Six poles in 8 grands prix but only 2 successes, now he is 3rd behind the Red Bulls of Verstappen and Perez. Two retirements in the last 3 races (Barcelona and Baku) due to reliability problems, in the middle his very bitter Monte Carlo: from 1st to 4th due to a mix-up of strategies. His engine is in Maranello: in Montreal he will fit a new one, to be determined if he will need a fourth turbo which would cost him a penalty.
Still optimistic? I will never give up, this has always been my mentality. I want to win, the World Cup is long. We have to understand the problems we had, they were three tough blows. Not an easy moment, but this doesn't change my motivation.
Doesn't reliability worry you? No, but a lot of attention is needed, the customer teams also had problems. But I have faith in this team and once the problems have been resolved, the pace and performance are there. I believe in it. I may be crazy, but I also believed in the two previous seasons as soon as I put the visor down, even though I could aim for a 10th place at most. This year we're really there, we just need to focus on ourselves and solve the problems as soon as possible. It's an important championship, we have a great opportunity to do well. There is too much positivity when things go well and too much negativity when they go badly. We need to find a balance.
Did you sleep after Munich? I did it, even if it hurt. But already in Baku I reset and got back in very good shape. It will be the same here in Montreal too.
How do you recover from disappointment after delusion? I know well what it means and what it feels like when you win, it's one of the few things that give me such great happiness. It's this that drives me to train every morning. This year we should have had more successes than we have for the reasons we know, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time to get back to where we want to be.
Do you need more calm or a winning mentality? Everyone has their own way of arriving at things. For me, being calm and concentration are fundamental. And when there is an excess of emotions it is important to return to your own bubble without being disturbed.
Do you have anything special about qualifying? I don't know, you can make a difference on the flying lap, because every mistake you make costs you in the end. For now it's gone well, I understand the car enough. But I'm also happy with the race which was my weak point in 2019, I worked on it and I think I improved a lot.
Compared to your partner, Sainz, you seem to have more confidence with the car. I can't speak for Carlos, this year I prepared better than in the past. Lots of simulator and in the pre-season tests I tried things that perhaps didn't make sense but I didn't want to overlook anything and be as ready as possible for the first race, there I wanted to be where I am and give it my all. It paid off. These new cars are difficult to drive and the details of going fast have changed. All the drivers have made mistakes and it's up to me to make as few as possible. I take risks, like in Imola. Even when you can't see it. I think it's the right approach and for now I'm happy.
Do you envy Verstappen at all? No and I don't think he envies anything about me either. We are two different riders, I focus on myself to be the best version of myself, I will never be someone else. I am happy with my development and will continue to evolve.
How did you miss the plane to Montreal? I went home on Monday. The flight from Nice to Paris was delayed. So I missed the connection but then I arrived safe and on time.
You're very tidy on the track, are you also very tidy in your private life? No, I'm messy. I reserve order and discipline for motorsport.
What do you write in the notebooks you read during free practice?
Everything: my feelings on the car and the things I want to try on the track. I get lots of ideas so I write them down so I don't forget them. And I write them in pen so I'm sure I'll find them again, before I used an app on the tablet which often deleted it all.
You voiced a character in the Disney Pixar film, Lightyear: The True Story of Buzz . Do you feel like a superhero? No. I feel like a normal person, even if I do a sport, I don't call it work, very special which isn't for everyone. I'm just lucky.
In the film there is a kiss between two women that has already created controversy, does it surprise you? For me homosexuality is a completely normal thing, I have gay friends, I don't understand how today there are people who don't understand that love is for everyone. F1 must lend a hand to those who don't have such a powerful voice to express difficulties in everyday life.
What are you like in everyday life? I have a routine: diet, gym, rest. Discipline is the biggest change I've made. In a year like this I want to be at 110% for 22 races. Will we get to 24? I'll be even fitter.
They have given you many names: predestined, prince, which one do you recognize yourself in? They are all positive and make me very happy, but what I like most is what my father gave me, pins à roulettes when I started racing, I was 4-5 years old, I was all small and you could only see the big helmet.
You play the piano. If F1 were a musical genre, what would it be? A very strange mix between classical and rock and roll. I think it's an exercise in adaptation between aggressiveness in qualifying and gentleness in tire management in the race. Playing helps me, I did it as a child, my brother Arthur is very good, I I started again during the pandemic by taking back the piano that was from my mother.
Don't you sing? Sometimes in the shower. Out of tune? I don't know, I just wouldn't have the courage to do it in front of someone. Poor Seagull sung in Bahrain? A joke with some of the team. I prefer to invent on the piano, it's something I share with my girlfriend Charlotte who will become an architect in two months. Like me, she is very creative.
Is creativity also useful for being a pilot? You need speed, precision, concentration. And courage. Let's take Jedda: a very fast track, close walls. There you feel the risk you're taking but you have to go and not think about it, this is what I like about this sport. I know it's dangerous, but I like to play with limits.
You love fashion, when will your first clothing line be launched? I would like to do it in the future, it is one of my passions, I believe that fashion is a means of expressing oneself without speaking. For now I am content with wearing things that I like. My mind is busy trying to win the Championship.
Have you already booked your summer holidays? In Sardinia with my friends on my Riva boat. Then in Ibiza with the family, but I remain focused: gym and equipment within reach.
Who will you cheer for at the World Cup in Qatar? Since there is no Monaco and Italy, France.
How do you see yourself at the end of the year? World champion and that's it.

I got the first 2 episodes in of "Rings of Power" s2 and they were amazing!!! 😀 Worth waking up at 5 am to watch. LOL I still got ep 3 to watch and will this afternoon, but need to get my thoughts out here behind a cut, but so happy with s2 so far. Not tagging all the characters, as it seems to think too many is spam, so hopefully this goes in the tags and I talk about most.
First off, I loved seeing Sauron's backstory in ep 1!!! 😀 I mentioned before in my other posts that I'm a fan of Jack Lowden's and it was great getting to see him after the version Adar knew. I only expect Jack back in flashbacks if he's able, even more so seeing a new interview with Charlie this morning assuring fans that he won't be recast. The whole prologue explained so much about what happened with Adar, and then Sauron reforming eventually into Halbrand. Also confirmed he really was going to Númenor on his own, and his meeting with Galadriel really was by chance so those theories he planned it all along were wrong.
Charlie's doing amazing too both as Halbrand and now as Annatar. I loved all the shoutouts too to "The Silmarillion" and other 1st Age stories about him, including him being The Lord of the Werewolves and able to talk with that wolf. Then the Bible references as we knew about the Annatar transformation scene looking like Jesus and angel paintings, but also the "Let My People Go!" scene fit with Moses and especially the "Prince of Egypt" movie, which I love too. But also realized at times they way they're doing (and Tolkien wrote) Sauron rising from nothing to being aids to kings is so similar to the Bible story of Joseph, and the musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (which my high school did an amazing version of that music my junior year of high school LOL). So I loved all of this and everything we saw with Celebrimbor in ep 2.
Then with Galadriel!!! 😀 OMG, first I have to mention about those Haladriel scenes!!! We knew the rings were going to connect them, as well as their mental bond in general, but now she's seeing visions and knows Sauron is in Eregion and saw him there. Plus, hearing him call her name in that vision, and confirming that she can read his mind, and him hers (as he knew the rings worked). Then the big one where Galadriel confessed to Elrond about how she feels about Halbrand/Sauron (and still used his Halbrand name) and it clearly was showing us that she fell in love with him by using that flashback to the "I felt it too" scene, and that's why everything that happened and being deceived hurt her so much. And Elrond knows now, which is why he and Gil Galad are being like that to her now as they don't trust her around Sauron anymore and think she'll turn. Loving that we're getting scenes about Haladriel even if they both are actually in the same place.
Then I loved the scene with the rings and showing they are good and worked to help restore the elves. Absolutely love Círdan too and being a mentor to Elrond. Him talking about more 1st Age characters and their flaws was great too. LOL
The storyline with The Stranger, Nori, and Poppy is great too. He's got to be Gandalf. I thought this the whole time but every scene I see of him just confirms it to me.
Pretty sure Ciarán Hinds' character is one of the Blue Wizards. The show did supposedly get the rights to use the Blue Wizards stories that Tolkien wrote in "Unfinished Tales" and one of the 2 Blues went evil in the 2nd Age in Rhûn, similar to how Saruman did in the 3rd Age. So I'm pretty sure that's what we're seeing him and that he found a cult with the Mystics.
Then loved seeing more with Durin, Disa, and the dwarves. It's setting up Sauron/Annatar giving them the 7 rings, and the making of the Doors of Durin too. Also very cool seeing Narvi too and the female dwarves having facial hair similar to more male elves having long hair (this didn't bother me like it did other fans but cool to see them add it). Though also really sad about the singing not working.
So now getting ready to watch ep 3 this afternoon and I saw from the description that it involves other characters we haven't seen yet from s1, and then I'll be caught up till ep 4 next week.

Hunter x Hunter Chapter 406 - Sacred Treasures
It seems the chapter was released early today.
I'm just excited to see some action with the phantom troupe and the Heil-yi both are so fun
Oh, the name of the chapter suggest that we are going to maybe see the ability Chrollo seeks out.
Nobunaga can't have his weapon ???? noooo
hide it
I hope everything goes well then
Does Phinks have a weapon ? Apart from his fists ?
OH WOWWWW
SO COOL
It's nearly giving me vertigo
Poor tier 5 people, under the sewage, do they get their waste up then ? Or does it just go into the sea
It's true a lot of the Heil-yi base kinda looks like that
this is fun
and morbid
The lawyer is going to be a pain in the ass
Soooo Nobunaga wants to interview the waste processors on tier 5
and the other will only be two to kill at least 20 people
Well, now they can find it
and people are hunting Hinrigh anyway
Anyone can be an assassin in this crowd
Poor Lynch, I hope they find you soon
Well...
I wasn't expecting this soon
Well, at least they know now
OH GOD
THAT NECK IS TWISTED
BONOLENOV CAN DO A LOOT OF HARM
We knew she was weaker than the troupe but still, Bonolenov is a conjurer and she was an emitter, yet, he completely destroyed her neck
Ohhh, Hinrigh thinks it's the Heil-yi ? They're not that skilled, they're mostly amateurs even
Ah, yes, indeed that's logical from Zakuro's point of view.
OH ! A SHAPESHIFTER
THEY KNOW
but will he deduce it was the troupe
and that they're acting in a way to avoid getting mislead by the mafia
Who would it be indeed ????
A conjurer could, but it's indeed harder than expected
I didn't know changing height was so rare but it's true the only one we saw able to do that were Pouf and Youpi. Biscuit can switch between two heights at wille though
Well Bonolenov didn't want you to suspect he wasn't Hisoka at all
but he was too skilled at killing
AND THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG
Well, only the troupe fits that stereotype
Hinrigh is good
They'll die
well I can't blame them
ANYWAY CHROLLO
AHAHAHAHHA
random people with nen just trying to look for love
then Chrollo steals it and just wants to find his target with it
No chance to you Chrollo
your love life will have to wait
AH YES FINALLY, THE KAKIN TREASURES
We know this one, the pot that Zepile replicated
Why would you keep it ? Just for fun ?
OOOH, that must be what keeps killing people if they escape. Not very useful to Chrollo either
That could be useful depending on what its abilities are.
Well, you're one step away from succeeding. Kurapika may be on the first floor but he doesn't know what is causing the ritual to exist.
Also none of those relics look like the sarcophagus room where the king was. So there is definitely something more
Oh, so is that one of the new conditions to set up before stealing something now that you have the bookmark ?
Stealing a treasure of equivalent value to what you want to steal ?
Or is that just a weird way to improve your ability as this translation suggests ?
WHAT DID HE SET UP FOR HIS SUCCESSION ??????
SOMETHING AKIN TO THE SUCC WAR OF KAKIN ????
Murder on a large scale ? Technically, the Heil-yi fit that description
WAIT, all those people are Halkenburg's original guards, nobody in there got transferred, or they are back in their body now ?
OOOOOOOOO big procession here
So Chrollo has an ability to locate someone in a certain range
He has limited calls per day too
WHAT ALREADY FINISHED
NO ACTION
well, we'll have to wait for the action
as always
We're beginning to get death flags for Chrollo though

also let's say even if a character was previously written as 100% straight, that means they can't ever come out?!?! like i know it's a show and not real life but as a queer person i don't want to get close to any kind of argument that's saying someone presumed to be straight coming out is out of out character
Yeah I mean look, not to invite a whole different kind of backlash but for me, Buck coming out really did seem more left field than Eddie coming out would. The show did a great job of making it feel real and earned after the fact, so this isn't a criticism, but I just don't think you can reasonably say that queer!Buck is something it was setting up all along. Looking back, it's possible to point to specific moments and say "this totally fits with Buck not realising he's bi" but if he'd never had that realisation, those moments would carry a different meaning.
The same goes for Tommy, actually, though of course he has far less screen time. When Tommy tells Buck he was a different person under Gerrard because he didn't feel like he could be the person he is now, that feels really authentic and believable to me. But I don't think most people watching Tommy's behaviour without that context looked at the character and thought he was unambiguously a closeted gay man. He wasn't written to be and we know from interviews that the pivot was explicitly discussed with his actor when they pitched him coming back to the show.
What I'm saying is I think Buck and Tommy are characters who are pretty good litmus tests for "if a character has previously been written as 100% straight, can they still realise or reveal that they're not?" And they clearly show it can be done in a convincing way. They're also good counterpoints for considering whether coming out is "out of character" or not: for Buck, understanding his sexuality changed him very little, and for Tommy, accepting himself was linked to a dramatic change. But it isn't that coming out is "out of character" for either of them. We're shown pretty clearly that the versions of them we see after they come out are more in line with who they really are and who they want to be.
It's important to keep in mind, though, that this is the Watsonian description of what's going on. From a Doylist perspective, that queer "authentic self" is a post hoc creation, written well enough for us to accept it was always there. That's not a bad thing, or even a particularly unique thing. Some other post hoc creations include Buck's backstory as a saviour baby, Athena's murdered fiance, Eddie writing Buck into his will after the well collapse, and Chimney's relationship with the Lees. Throughout the run of a long-standing TV series like 911, lots of plot elements get introduced that retrospectively change the meaning of things we've already seen. If it's done well, it comes across as seamless. But characters aren't people, they only exist as they're written to exist, which means these aspects of their lives actually sprung into being when they were revealed in the text. It therefore doesn't really make sense to talk about a character being unambiguously and immutably straight because the writers could always change their mind and write them a different way. You might feel very confident that won't happen and you might even be right but you can't argue your case by treating the television show as a static text, because that's not what television is.

Enderal for the fandom ask? (Because I'm sure someone else will ask for WOTR and IWTV)
Enderal
((No Interview with the Vampire yet 😁, but that's such a great choice, aaa, one of my favorite games in the history of ever. <333))
Favorite Male Character Jespar Dal'Varek, my beloved boy. Mercenary (and noble who really doesn't like that fact) and the character with the second-best romance I ever played in my life. I'm definitely drawn to hedonists with a melancholic side. He's much ... softer than Daeran though, if you're wondering, with a similar bitterness underneath but still ... gentle. I should also mention the Father. But how to talk about them at all without spoilers ... Leader of a secret cult who believes that the mind should defeat the body. Highly intelligent, highly mysterious and related to my favorite quest. I could write a whole essay about them, but I realize every word I mention about their personality takes away from the pleasure of discovering them yourself, so I'll stay silent for now. 😁 (Also, they are neither a male character nor a female character but agender.)
Favorite Female Character Natara Dal'Veram. Do I have a weakness for conceited, intelligent women in power? You bet. She's the Truchessa of The Holy Order. Sounds important? Is important! She fights the protagonist on every turn. Once more I can't go too much into detail without giving away plot twists, only that she's devoted and hard working and loathes the main character because they step into a high position without doing much for it (or so she believes).
Least Favorite Character The High Ones and what they stand for. I rarely ever hate the antagonist(s) of a story, this time I did. Also Grandmaster Tealor Arantheal for being a fool and slightly Yuslan Sha'Rim for making a certain decision. (I love-hate him though.)
Favorite Ship The Prophet (player character) and Jespar. The romance is so good. So good. You asked me once if there is an existing character Eneas would fall for. He was my Prophet and fell very hard for Jespar despite him being different from those he's usually interested in. I have to add that I played a very young Eneas to fit the story. Very angry, very lost. He changes over the decades. On the other hand, he will change in the Enderal universe too while growing older, and in similar ways ... Ah, so much to think about always.
Favorite Friendship Very weird answer I would love to explain should you ever play the game: The Prophet (player character) - or well, mine at least - and the Father.
Favorite Quote "The world would be a much better place if everyone could just acknowledge that the only reason we're here is that we want to be happy." (Jespar) "All those “heroes” and self-declared messiahs are no better than everyone else. In the end, we are all selfish, because we always act in accordance to what we think we have to be like." (Jespar) "… I've always considered responsibility and being happy to be contradictory. But actually, that's wrong, it's the exact opposite. In order to be truly content, we need... connection. To a person, to a cause, to anything. If you never find that, you'll never find yourself." (Jespar) "I led them into the light. I alone." (Tealor) Ah dammit, I could transcribe the whole game actually.
Worst Character Death (if any) SPOILERS: All of them. So many dead, so much despair, it hurts to even think of it. How to even pick, they'll follow me forever, this game goes so deep. Rynéus, I will never recover. Calia, she deserved the world and he couldn't save her. Lishari, why did it need to come to this, it broke my heart and his as well.
Saddest Moment It's a very sad game in general. Bittersweet. Heavy on the shoulders. SPOILERS: Rynéus' death after this flicker of hope. He would have adopted him. The ending and the last decision and to see it in all its cruelty.
Favorite Location Ark! I fell in love with the city and its people. Also Whisperwood. The atmosphere is beyond amazing and always makes me shiver.
Bonus, because Enderal needs its songs: I picked Eneas without knowing how well he'd fit into the role of the Prophet. German for those who like to hear the Original.
#enderal#y'all go and play it!#it's for free!#can you believe it#it's a mod#😭#a skyrim mod#so much better than skyrim could ever dream to be#enderal spoilers#dmagedramblings

I do want to be specifically careful with how I address this. Please know I'm saying this with not only the utmost respect to you, but as well as Austin because this is his personal life. I hope this doesn't come across with any ill intent, because that is definitely not the intention whatsoever.
Now that Vanessa and Austin's relationship has been brought up a few times in recent months on this blog especially today with the whole "chemistry" and "energy" matching discussion on whether Austin and Kaia truly "fit" together.
I do think it's important for you and others to know especially for those who are new to knowing Austin re: weren't there for when this was a discussion. But it is common knowledge especially for those who lived in Williamsburg New York at the same time Austin and Vanessa did. That Vanessa was very cruel and controlling to Austin (she would publicly berate him).
Maybe their relationship looked and had the energy like it was together and perfect in all those paparazzi photos and Instagram selfies Vanessa would post. But it does go to show that we really don't know these celebrities therefore we can't judge what we don't know.
I hope in some way this makes sense, I reiterate I do not want to cause any drama with this, so I understand if you don't post this publicly. I just thought it was important to say.
Thanks Anon! 😊
No worries....I'm not taking any offense to your ask at all. I too have heard the rumors that Vanessa wasn't all that particularly nice to Austin at times. 😔
This could all be hearsay for all we know, but IF those rumors were indeed true....Do I think she was this way towards ALL the time? NO. I don't think Austin would have been with her for about 9 years (was it?) if she had been nasty to him all that time. Just like, I highly doubt Vanessa would have been with Austin all that time had he been a monster towards her. You just don't stay with someone THAT long (Especially when you have options and are famous lol) unless you really love that person. Jmho.
I think, that like any couple, especially one that's been together for 9 YEARS, they probably fought and had disagreements or issues just like any other couple? 🤷🏾♀️
When you hear them talk about each other though in past interviews, and see how they interacted w/each other, they had nothing but good things to say about each other and seemed deeply in love. 😊 Granted, we don't always see what goes on behind closed doors, so I'm sure things weren't perfect, but I just don't believe that people are staying w/someone in a relationship for that long if it was lousy lol. They could have had anyone lol.
Kaia is probably much nicer I guess? 🤷🏾♀️ So maybe she's a breath of fresh air for him? Idk... Vanessa (as much as I love her) seems more like a firecracker lol 😅🤣 And definitely controlling lol. While that can be hot and sexy at first, I can see how over time, that could get a little old for a man lol. We don't know what happened in their relationship obviously, but I think fans need to keep in mind that they only saw that one snapshot of her being rude towards him. When you look at pictures of them otherwise, they seemed VERY happy w/each other, and like best friends. Again, I can only go by chemistry vibes and what I SEE. That's basically all people are saying.... "Chemistry". We're not saying whether one was better for the other or not.... 🤷🏾♀️
Ironically, if you were to ask me, he seemed happier with Vanessa than he does with Kaia tbh, but again, that could just be that he was younger at the time I guess.

(Giving a tour on Octavius Industries, first year of Peter's internship)
Otto: Don't worry about leaving too much junk around here, as you can see it's very roomy, this is our main workshop area after all. You can tidy your office later, I'll just need to file some paperwork and have it delivered to my foreseeable suitor. She has shown much promising feedback coming from the health care org.
Peter: I honestly wish I could spit on my high school scientific initiation supervisor's face.
Otto: I won't stop you. Take a look, this is where we shall be. Impressive, won't you say?
Peter: Yeah, much. Especially for a start-up.
Otto: Well, I did get a reliable network after lots of peer reviews. We have everything we need here... And soon after I go through the pile of paperwork that is craving my attention now and then, we can hop into the thing I wanted to discuss with you after tomorrow's interview.
Peter: Oh, I didn't... Do you already have something going on? Oh, you're getting me all pumped up, Doc!
Otto: Alright, alright, let's dial it back a little bit. How could you tell?
Peter: Well, you must have! I mean, isn't that why you called me here?
Otto: Maybe I just enjoy your company.
Peter: Ha. I don't want to question you or anything, sir, the pep talk you gave me that afternoon really stuck to me, but I haven't got this kind of confidence to do something... In years, you know?
Otto: I understand that completely. Lend me some of that faith and I promise you, it won't disappoint.
Peter: Wow. You weren't kidding, it's chilling in here.
Otto: If the circumstances won't turn against us, we might start to warm up tomorrow.
Peter: Good thing I called off all of my compromises, but I do have gym training at six, every Tuesday, so...
Otto: Good to know you're one to keep in shape, but we do need to send a clean report to the org every week, I'm afraid, as I'm counting on not hiring anymore staff for now. I think you've got it covered.
Peter: Hell yeah, if you need help with paperwork, and I'm just letting you know, in my AT position at ESU, I was called the fastest man alive.
Otto: Don't worry about that, it's an stock of ideas for budget, counting that everything goes well with the ethics committee once we get the engines running on my next project.
Peter: With a place like this? External funding should be easy. This could fit the entire of my aunt's homy living room at Queens. How did you find it?
Otto: Oh, this used to be an auto repair shop. Back in the day it seemed like a pretty good deal. The man who sold it to me was a very... Colorful character. He only accepted being referred to as “Paulão”, although I'm pretty sure my pronunciation isn't spot on. He was very easy going, but the same couldn't be said about his partner.
Peter: Oh, so there was two owners?
Otto: I don't think so, no. He showed up only once, and it was the day Paulão would hand me the keys. Hm. He had a very remarkable taste for t-shirts, like they came straight out of kaleidoscope. He came with a taxi, but I'm pretty sure he was driving it. I haven't seen something like that since the 70s, it's funny to think about him now.
Peter: Gotta love someone whose dedicated to strike a first impression.
Otto: I hope this is also a nod to a certain TV celebrity we're getting all over the news these days...
Peter: You watch his show?
Otto: I don't change the channel.
Peter: Do you like it? I don't watch it. Just... You, know, I can see the appeal of his character.
Otto: Well... Then you could say I'm very... Curious, about his existence. Although it's not a topic we can explore much further, after all, the man prefers to be cover his face all times. No surprise that charlatan bouquet Jonah likes to sell it to scare us off. However there's not much performance to pass on a message, he's just showing off cool tricks.
Peter: Got it, “kids like him”.
Otto: Now you're putting words in my mouth. But it's not an entirely misguided assumption either, hm?
Peter: Whatever you say, Doc, I'm just following you.
Otto: I think that's enough for today.
Peter: Yeah, I need to beat it too, I had pick up May at F.E.A.S.T... a hour ago. Fuck.
Otto: Need a lift?
Peter: Thanks, Doctor, but I'm kind of scared of bikes.
Otto: What, never learned how to ride without training wheels?
Peter: When i was ten a kid beat my ass with a tire once and now I have nightmares every night.
Otto: Charming. Well then, don't waste no time.
Peter: Smell ya later!
Otto: You have such way with words, don't you?
Peter: I did try to get into poetry once. If I give you a taste, I can't promise you won't be swoon.
Otto: No thank you, you already had me with your bachelor's thesis, remember?

impulsive OC interview
"Interviewer": Thanks for taking the time to chat with me today.
Shion: This is silly. You realize this is silly, right?
Yes.
All right. Just making sure.
So let's dive right in. How do you feel about being pregnant?
Oh, you're starting there. It's honestly not something I wanted. I've never seen myself as a mother. You know full well why.
*coughs*
A n y w a y. Just because I've never desired it doesn't mean I'm opposed to it. Though did you have to pick those particular circumstances?
Which ones, specifically?
That might be the worst possible time for Levi to discover that he's going to be a father.
Perhaps, but would you want to raise this child any earlier?
*pauses* You have a point. However, he might have liked it to happen earlier.
In the middle of a war?
All right, perhaps not. Were you going somewhere with these questions?
You derailed the interview by asking your own.
That makes it a conversation, doesn't it? And you enjoy conversations.
True. I did want to ask about the child's name. Why Petra Zoë Ackerman?
All three of us care deeply about remembering those we've lost, and we all knew Petra. Though I didn't know her for as long, she was essential to me fitting in despite being an outsider. I didn't realize it at the time, but she helped me remember how to make friends, how to open up to others. Perhaps I would've eventually been honest with Hange and vulnerable with Levi, but perhaps not given how much shit hit the fan starting with the disastrous 57th Expedition.
Whoa. I didn't realize that.
Why does this not surprise me? *laughs* At this rate, you should've called the fic "Where Did This Come From?" rather than "Cut to the Feeling."
Ouch.
As for the rest of our daughter's name, it includes Ackerman for what I hope are obvious reasons, and I insisted on Zoë because Hange is as much her parent as myself or Levi. And that's plenty for one little girl. I didn't need to burden her with my last name as well.
That's so cute~
I'm glad you think so. Though that comment means I need to remind you just how damned silly this exercise is.
Sure. Just roll with it for me, please?
Fine. What else do you want to know?
The three of you fall in varied places along the ace spectrum. How do you feel about, you know, sleeping with them?
*chuckles* For someone who writes smut, you sure like to be coy with questions like these.
Shush.
On the surface, it may seem strange, right? People should want sex to have sex. And I do. Occasionally. For me, there's a gap of sorts between the "attraction" part and the "having sex" part. In general, I don't feel sexually attracted to other people -- I see a person, they're a person, perhaps a gorgeous person, yet sex just isn't part of the equation. Raunchy jokes and conversations aside, sexual thoughts often don't occur to me in situations others might see as inherently sexual. For example, sleeping next to Levi is one of my favorite things in the world, but that's because we're vulnerable when we're sleeping, and him being comfortable with me at his side in such circumstances brings me so much joy. I'm so happy he's amenable to snuggling.
But back to your question. If I'm going to have sex, I need to be in love with that person first. And I'm in love with Levi. So sleeping with him in the not-literal sense appeals to me, assuming I'm up for sex in that moment. The same goes for Hange, though sorting out those feelings takes a while. But you already knew that.
Hey, OT3s are new to both of us.
I'm not sure whether I should berate you or thank you for being your guinea pig here.
How do you even know what a guinea pig is?
What, you think we don't have pets within the Walls?
I hadn't considered it before. Okay, this feels like a good place to stop.
Here? Not earlier? *laughs*
Thanks for playing along, Shion.
Sure. But I recommend against making a habit of this.
I don't plan to!
#OC: Shion Miller#OC child thoughts#aspec thoughts#OT3: what we have is each other#ridiculous interview#Ani rambles#like really really rambles#this was a surprisingly good exercise to get to know Shion better#albeit a bit unnerving with regard to my sanity ahaha#scheduling this post before I freak out and change my mind

The BEST Things About Owning a McLaren 570GT
youtube
Trump likes the idea he's got people who are reasonable but he really wants to try and find us that that's the way it goes and everybody does so you'd be fighting people but we like this car I did he likes his car and we do too we will make it a little bit more upper end upscale looking and the gauges and their steering are awful it doesn't look good and our son likes a particular look that we all love and we're going to put that in and yeah we can have your gold color that's the idea too and he likes the plastic fiber carbon he says a color code and they just yell it he thought that was an amazing idea cuz if you scratch it you fill it in with like some stuff he says well that's weird he says yeah but it's going to be like plastic and cheaper but it's much better it's strong it's not structural and the carbon is kind of structural but not really but when you're in an accident like metal but it won't cut you up and it's like space age but it's backwards to people it says it to him right at the interview there and he says oh wow that's kind of odd and it was that's pretty cool and he says the clan was doing that and the max did something to them and he hates them but this might work he's going to come sticky. But there's some other ideas he said you could and Trump said that would work he said you put in the old gauges but like new style so it looks new and they're just solid state and you make a solid state car and you have an EMP and everything and then you have your phone hooks in and everybody has this in a supercar and you got to cook it in there so it works and you put it to your charger can connect so you can have hands-free and he said you make an app and there are several apps but you could load it kind of to your car and we can have a little computer that sends it to your phone and you can also put a screen in you can buy aftermarket because your phone charge will be a pain in the ass and you can plug it in the different way so we digital but we won't provide the actual device we'll just provide the signal and there are devices that you can make it for and I'll fit both and you said this is a crazy idea and later when you make it into a real car you'd have a screen in front and it's redundancy and you'd have the gauges show up if the screen failed and he said this is sick as hell and our son says when you make the gauges behind the screen just being a light up but if it's out you can see through it and the gauges will be lit with lighting like they usually do red or blue or and then if it fails it's got effervescence so during the day it would charge and at night you can see it and he said this is insanity but that's later and you can do something like that on part of the car we could and he says cool and really it would be the name and it would be effervescence like an accent around it and people say that's one of the coolest things I've ever seen cuz it'll be natural not powered.
So we're going to go ahead and print
Thor Freya
Good awesome idea we have to think of the name
Hera

"Perhaps a mix of both. I agree, we shouldn't strain Nakime too much. And even then, the Slayer Corps was extinguished decades ago. Unless Muzan-sama found a reason to be rid of her.. I don't think she's dying anytime soon." Hades couldn't help but chuckle. Ah.. those old days. When swords were common place, and they were only barely seeing what electricity could do.
How things have changed.. How humanity has changed, and how they as demons have adapted.
'Bringing whaaat to me? And what you on about 'draggin' me out.. huuuuhh?' Speaking of the IT specialist. A lot with demons didn't change over time, but Gyutaro was certainly an exception to this rule. He'd adapted incredibly well to internet culture, and even managed to pull off showing his 'real face' online in the guise of 'vtubing'. And for the first time in so long, he had people fawning over him for his appearance. But seems he kept to a simple attire today. Loose fitting black shirt, and baggy jeans.
He'd certainly taken to humanities updated style. And he was one of the few who could get away with dressing so casually.
"Douma's phone. Perhaps put some child locks on it and limit his internet access." Hades spoke without missing a beat as Upper Six moved to the blood warmer to pour himself something to drink.
'Eeeehhhh? Uh.. yeah that's easy. What'd he do this time? He clout chasin' again? Uhhhggg that drives me nuuttsss. So cringe!' He grumbles, raking his claws against the side of his face. A nervous tick of his. Though he'd also adapted to the modern day lingo, which got the older fashioned folks.. like himself and Kokushibo; lost in translation. Thus Hades looked to Astra for such a thing.
"General tomfoolery, doing things that could expose all of us and what we are.. the usual." Hades gave a shrug of his shoulders, sounding neigh exasperated at it all. Still, from the look of the growing, malicious grin on Upper Six's face.. he loved the idea of completely blocking Douma from doing anything online.
"Since you're here.." Hades looked back to the green-haired demon.
"We're looking into doing a PR stunt to help the image of the company. Astra's come up with some great ideas. Think we can get you on board for some graphic designs?" That grin faded and he groaned. Not because Gyutaro didn't want to.. but..
'I ain't good with that artsy stuff. I'll ask Daki. She's better at that. Maybe get that new intern to help.' He took his cup and began to shuffle out of the break room. He had games to get back to.
"And back off to his cave he goes." Hades sighed, he said it in good faith, of course. Sort of like how an older family member may joke at a kid for going back into their room. Still, he was smiling before he looked right back to Astra and nodded.
"We can go back to my office so we can write everything down. Then we can present it to Muzan-Sama when he's in a good mood. I can show you the approved permit for the training dojo too, though we should also clear it with Nakime." He made sure to at least lightly clean up the break-room while he spoke. He always felt like he needed to be doing something.. some days. At least making sure cups were clean, and the blood warmer was fully functional. One of the inventions of the company that was purely used in-house.
For.. obvious reasons.
Though he couldn't help but snicker at her last suggestion.
"Something more than Kibutsuji Enterprises? Mmm.. maybe. That'd be really funny, especially with the recent surge in animated shows and movies around the subject of 'demons'. Playing on it as a joke would be a great way to also divert people from the truth." The truth that their company was run by immortal monsters of the night, that consumed human flesh and blood as sustenance?
So few realized what they were truly getting into when applying for a job here. An interview and a screening process for new demons.
"Maybe this PR event can also potentially see some new, valuable recruits for us too." He motioned for Astra to 'come along' as he headed out of the break-room. Sure to duck his head so he didn't hit the door-frame and break it.. again.
[ ― ❝Well, at least something's going right around here,❞ finally! The dojo area was approved and Nakime could build and move things around. All she would have to do was visit the office and get the permits, as well as the construction workers-- have them zone out for a bit and act like they were working. They would get paid, of course-- but they would do nothing other than walk around the hallways in that floor for a month or so and call it done.
❝I was thinking for the training room we could tie it to the infinity fortress so it could be replaced and repaired easily. It's easy enough to procure permits and make them think they're working. Just putting them on autopilot only takes a few moments.❞ Human minds were just... like wet tissue paper. She could shred through them with a wave of her hand.
❝But we still have time to decide if we want it to be human construction in case someone ends up killing Nakime.❞ The upper moons were static for centuries, with lower moons coming and going rather easily. ❝Or we could have a mix of both, so we're not stretching Nakime's limit so badly. We barely get away with half the shit we do as it is.❞
She leaned up against the counter, bringing up her hand to wind it through the air a few times.
❝I can get the phone in a few minutes. I may not be able to get his emotions, but I sure can fuck with his memories -- we'll bring it to Gyutaro together because I want to see his face when he realizes what we're doing. And while we're at it, we can do the same damn thing for his computer's internet so he can't turn on his fucking webcam--❞
Because if one avenue became unavailable-- ❝AND! Make all the phone companies blacklisted so he can't buy another one on the wifi here! It's summer and everything closes early enough -- he won't even be able to buy one until summer ends!❞ Hell yeah! ❝He could pay someone to do it, sure. But it's awfully annoying to have to do that a hundred times over.❞
She tilted her head and narrowed her eyes for a moment--
❝You could keep Douma preoccupied in a time paradox while we did the interviews. I think Gyutaro and Daki would be really popular if we gave them the chance to be. And Kaigaku. Gods, you've not been hearing what they've been saying about Kokushibo. There are edits of him.❞ She made a face.
❝... it takes a lot to do. And Douma fucks up a lot. I can't blame Akaza for trying to kill him, because if I had less restraint than I do I would be showing him what it's like to actually feel emotion instead of toy with it.❞ And that would be dangerous for everyone involved. Douma was someone that Astra was stronger than, as a demon. She was.. terrifying, but didn't look like it...
most of the time.
❝There are a lot of things to look out for. Like, the people like you because there's been a resurgence of period clothing being worn in the current time and worked into modern pieces. Traditional clothing and modern clothing is being layered together and it's just-- really nice. They like your aesthetic.❞ It was more calculated than Astra made it appear.
❝You see -- once you get a following, you create the trends. All of this-- is carefully curated, piece by piece. And with looking at human behavior, I get ahead of it all. Daki would be exceptionally popular, and Gyutaro if we could drag him out of his computer wires. Kokushibo would rather kill the humans than interact with them and Muzan-sama... well, he's quite popular, too. Maybe I could show him making the cosmetics. Hm....❞
❝We really need to write this down. For a while I've been thinking that we should just make it a giant thing -- changing the name of the company to something involving demons and just play on it as a joke. The best place to hide is in plain sight.❞ ― ]

📓
Oooookay here we go! What first...
...You know what? For you, Glimmer, I'mma talk about the one (1) nsfw fic I have partially planned. It's codywan, in case anyone's interested in that. Under a cut because. Well!
The war is over! How the war is over is unimportant (I know, and the canon divergence happens at Umbara, but that's a whole different fic we're not talking about right now). What's important is Palpatine is dead, the o66 went out but was only PARTIALLY successful, the clones are all currently dechipped, and in the Senate a bill for Clone Rights has made it to Committee. As far as the more conservative senators are concerned, it can die there.
Cody has been selected to be interviewed as the Marshal Commander of the Third Systems Army and therefore a natural representative for the clones of the GAR. He's been working on this Bill since its inception with a few allies in the Senate, including Chancellor Organa. The Jedi, due to a NUMBER of... shall we say obvious conflicts, are not involved (publicly, we'll get to that). He has his interview, and it goes, shall we say... about as poorly as they expected.
Cody's furious, full of all this pent-up frustration at this situation, at the people who refuse to look at him and see a person, at all the work he has put into this stupid bill and the fact that it may just lead to NOTHING, his brothers and himself stuck in a limbo where they aren't even PEOPLE under the law of the land, trapped in a contract with the Republic they didn't even sign, and who gets to DECIDE what makes a person anyway, why is it these old stuffy assholes who have never, ever had to question whether they would be considered ALIVE under the law, who have had the natural opportunities and experiences that denote their developmental age and meanwhile, MEANWHILE--
Cody goes to a bar. While he is at the bar, a random young man approaches him and shoots his shot.
It ends in the back of the bar with Cody getting the first handjob he has ever received.
It's... fine? Cody isn't really sure what the POINT is, honestly, some of his brothers go NUTS for sex but he's never really had time, though obviously he's been curious--
He goes back to the horrible little set of rooms in the GAR barracks he's been assigned as befitting his rank, and sees there's a call from Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan, of course, is off doing relief work off-world, since the Jedi are NOT SUPPOSED TO BE INVOLVED. Obi-Wan, of course, is using his off-hours to call Cody up and help anyway. Obi-Wan wants to know how the interview went.
Cody's out of sorts during the call, to the point Obi-Wan notices. Not wanting to tell Obi-Wan about this experience and not QUITE sure why, Cody blames his mood on the interview, and when they end the call, Cody's feeling restless, ill-fitting in his own skin and not sure why.
He keeps thinking about the hand job, which wasn't THAT bad he supposes. Maybe he just didn't really... control for the right variables? Maybe that guy just wasn't very good at this. Maybe Cody needs to try again, except maybe he can do a better job planning it out so he can actually... decide if he likes it...
Cody sits down and starts doing some research.
Cody makes a list.
Cody makes an action plan.
The story goes from there.

We need somebody to write a fic where Ide and Aizawa are like these hot greasers 😭😭 Matsuda should be the groupie 😭😭
stop absolutely 😭 if i had any motivation to write i would write this (maybe i will write this?) since i didn't know what type of greaser you were talking about (50s-60s american subculture or the outsiders kind), i did both!
(CHECK TAGS)
PERSONALITIES:
i've just done some research on greaser culture and this would actually suit aizawa perfectly according to my headcanons - did you tailor this post for me op?? in my mind, aizawa's half african-american - right? he probably grew up on the whole "you stick with your own, you are loyal to your own and you would do anything for your group" sort of mentality. this applies whether you are talking about the 50s-60s greaser variety OR the outsiders greaser variety - both of which are similar but not quite. i think it works either way.
to fit ide into this, he pretty much follows aizawa wherever he goes like a lost puppy and doesn't care much for people. when i think of ide's characterisation, i think solely of @zaney-hacknslash 's characterisation of him. if you read zaney's death note fics, even briefly (because they are very long, reading them is an all-day sort of event) you'll kind of see what i'm talking about. ide suits this greaser subculture very well, because he's loyal to his group (i.e. Aizawa) and doesn't care too much for the world outside of what is significant to him. he doesn't even care too much about his job.
AND YES YES GROUPIE MATSUDA >>>>
he just thinks they're real neat. aizawa and ide are cool, they're broke and they spend more time being a public nuisance at the cinema than doing anything else really but matsuda just thinks they're awesome.
to me, this could work platonically, romantically, sexually, or found family. this really is a great concept and i love it so so much.
POTENTIAL AUS:
groupie!Matsuda in the NPA, criminal greasers Aizawa&Ide: in this au, matsuda would keep getting any cases they may be involved in (perpetrator or not) and letting them slide. at first it's unintentional but as he interviews them more and more, he lets them get away with so much more than they deserve. aizawa and ide have no idea how 'luck' is on their side every fucking time but they're pretty grateful for it.
they also think that the smiley policeman who interviews them every time is actually pretty sweet - sweet enough to be protected by them, perhaps? matsuda's naivete is a significant part of his character in this au, as are the boys' lack of it. other criminals see him as a good target - but the boys aren't having any of it. matsuda is at first shocked, but then he just embraces it.
one day, aizawa and ide go to the station to pick up matsuda and take him to see a movie and soichiro is like "what are you thugs doing in these parts" then matsuda approaches and ide's just like "hey kid" and matsuda just grins and aizawa puts an arm around his shoulders. "we're seeing a movie!" matsuda grins, "thanks for letting me off early, chief!" and soichiro tries so many times to warn matsuda away from following and admiring the two but he ignores this every time.
in this same au, matsu is family-friends with the yagamis, he has been since he was a kid because their families got along. as matsu got older, they became more distant from his family but closer to him and he feels like they're on his side. but they keep warning him away from aizawa and ide, who are also on his side. why is that, he wonders?
high school au, outsiders au: aizawa and ide are kinda famous among the greasers, the same way bob was in the socs (the outsiders) and despite being a soc, matsu is really really attracted to them. obviously the age difference would be less in this au, and other characters would be sorted into greasers or socs. (e.g. light, matsuda, misa, takada and sayu are all socs. aizawa, ide, L, mikami, mello, matt & near are are all greasers.) things get complex realllll fast.

that's about it for now

Morimyu in Classical reference
So, as for the fact that music in Morimyu Op. 3 resembles classical music in both progression and musical technicality, it's interesting how it's possible to keep coming up with different interpretations after re-watching the musical again and again.
I've made a thread on twitter about this before, but 1) word limitations and thread will never be enough to list all that I have to say lol 2) I'd prefer to have a fuller version noted down, especially one that I can edit and keep coming back over and over again when ever I come up with something new.
Either way, I am still (lol) not a pro in music theory and music history as well. All that is written here are based on my very very basic knowledge on music as well as something that I've picked up (and discussed) with my friends after watching Op. 3.
What's the point of this?
Why is it important? Lol I always need this to keep myself from writing off-topic but anyways. Why do the music sound good (except for the fact that because it does lol), and what do they represent? Surely there must be, and there always are, other things that are implied not only through the lyrics but also the music, and the flow in general.
Apart from the lyrics and the lines, it's also quite interesting to have a close look at the music - melody and harmony itself - to see how they portray the stories.
Most importantly, the continuality. How did Morimyu manage to insert so many songs and still managing to connect them as a whole? And how did they use music to go beyond what's on the pages? That's the most important thing about musicals - beyond the pages. We don't see stage or anime doing so very often, as they mainly focus on what's already there, bringing them to life as close as possible to how we imagine things might happen.
As for musical, they have the music. They have the arias and the songs. At some point, a character starts singing, and other characters followed suit. They have their very unique way of expressing the plot, and they have the orchestra, the arias where characters get their solo song, and the duets between characters with strong relationships, and the ensemble which emphasizes the plot, and so on.
A funny thing about duets in classical opera, they're often meant to show lovers' relationship because of the harmony but can also use opposition and all to show enemies' relationship. And in SherLiam's duet it's just both of them at the same time - thoughts connected while engaging in a chase, a hide and seek game of mystery. We'll go into that later.
Back to the topic. Morimyu follows the main plot strictly, but also uses their advantage with music to add all the side details that wasn't told in the manga to create a "complete" view of the plot. It is always available for musicals to do something unexpected (like how we never expected Lestrade's puppet show to be a whole 5 mins long piece lol). And where they did that they added arias and duets, they allowed moments where characters express and developed their emotions as well as going with the plan (yes Albert yessss). Of course there's both a good and bad side to this all the while.
💛 The good thing is they went all the way to show us sides of emotions that we don't see much in the manga or stage, the sides of the story that all of them have kept hidden while focusing on their grand plan. 💛 But then it does get too emotional at some point, especially those who came for the plot and the mind games behind all of it (like me - although I won't deny that I had a lot of fun picking out all the emotions behind the music here lol).
Musicals can always go beyond what we knew. As for Morimyu, their music is heavily influenced by opera and classical music, and it's shown quite clear. There is live music playing (instead of the entire orchestra we have a violin and piano duet), and they have distinctive arias and recitatives throughout.
So thanks to that, it's also possible to use a reference from classical music to interpret their songs.
A Sonata formation - The Narrative Series of SherLiam
Yes, songs arranged and analysed with reference to a Sonata formation, especially in the way they progress through the play.
Some notes before getting into the point
1 - Sonata = a piece of music consisting of several movements - very often 3, sometimes 4. First movement-Allegro: With the quick tempo, introducing the theme of the entire Sonata Second movement-Adagio/Largo: Slow tempo, can be emotional sometimes, as well as leading more towards the final movement Third movement-Rondo Vivace: The ending, quick-paced and vigorous, leading the Sonata to a close. A Sonata always has a general theme, a topic. The theme that I chose to write about is Mystery - the Hide and Seek game between the Detective and Lord of Crime
2 - Aria and Recitative = different types of songs used in an opera Recitative: Lines within a song that happens like a real conversation, as the characters sing they are also talking to each other Aria: A solo section where everything else is a freeze frame, while one actor remains and sing their own song about their thoughts, feelings, etc. In this post we're mainly discussing the arias of Sherlock and Liam, and the duet between them. But there's also some mention of recitatives here and there.
3 - Videos used To make it easier to understand which songs I'm talking about, I also arranged them in piano. And also to have a listen at how they might connect. Just in case the videos beneath don't work (they didn't work on my phone), the three songs discussed are Nazo, Liam's solo, Kokoro no Rondo, all piano arrangements.
All of the songs noted in this section are arias and duets from Op. 3 - the Ghost of the Whitechapel. The additional "series" that Morimyu has added spreading throughout the play, Sherlock and Liam's narratives, which portrays both their emotions and the chase between the detective and the Lord of Crime.
First Movement - Allegro: Nazo(謎) song
youtube
Starting from Lestrade's exit after his puppetshow and proceed to the scene, Sherlock's aria introduces the theme of the imaginary hide and seek game that the Lord of Crime has started. The song repeats the word (mystery) over and over again with a continuous rhythm.
Ends with Sherlock just mumbling the word Nazo (mystery) and exiting the stage - no conclusions, just like a mystery that leads into further mysteries with no answer.
♛♛♛ In regards to a Sonata formation, this is the beginning of the entire piece. Quick in tempo, written in 3/4 time and introduces the theme of the entire piece - Mystery.
Uso ka Shinjitsu ka - Lie or Truth song
Starting after Sherlock learns the truth behind Jack the Ripper, wondering if Lord of Crime is a good person after all.
Now I had a really hard time thinking whether this piece should be included or not. For one, it's not an aria. It can be viewed as a Da capo Aria, a development section of the Nazo song, repeating the theme that is introduced, coming and going rather quickly. So, for continuality.
It also does not fit into the series as a whole, being 1) a recitative. The lyrics focus entirely on Sherlock's deduction and whether he should expose the truth or not, etc. so on. 2) The lines in here, unlike the other arias, are taken directly from the manga, so it's not entirely an 'added' element to this chase. 3) Also because if we compare this to a Sonata form, this doesn't really fit anywhere
However, among Sherlock's arias, this song can also be seen as an interesting development as I have mentioned above, so I've decided to have it here, still.
There's another thing about almost all of Sherlock's arias throughout the 2 stages - they never have a conclusive end. The detective's mind is always running, mysteries after mysteries.
Most of the other characters' songs ends with some kind of closing lines, and piano continues to conclude the piece with a strong end, and then goes on to start another piece. All of their problems in the songs are concluded. They made up their minds in some ways.
But Sherlock, his songs always end with him repeating the melody, a capella, and exiting the stage. Piano waits for him to exit, then starts a new song. Or in Op. 2's Mindgame case going straight into the next conversation. We never get to know how Sherlock's songs end, because they didn't really end at those points. There's a hanging sense of waiting for a resolution, a conclusion. Sherlock never seems to have his problems solved within the songs, they just go on and on.
An idea initiates, then something happens and he is once again in the dark. And he spins around within his own mind.
Screenshot from Op. 2. Even if we look back to his aria Mindgames from Op. 2, this song doesn't really have a conclusive ending as well. He just starts singing, the music stops and he starts shooting and going on, resuming the play. It kind of has been a thing for Sherlock's arias?
Second Movement - Adagio/Largo: Liam's solo
youtube
♛♛♛ The "second movement" - the 'slower' piece - of the series, Liam's aria lol but actually the piano part of this song isn't slow at all but ok. The other side of this hide and seek game. The "development" section of the sonata series, where we see things in a much more emotional way.
This aria is much richer in harmony and melody. Not only Liam's melody, but also the piano's part which plays a beautiful melody in harmony.
I recall an interview where the stage director mentions how the "orchestra" - piano and violin are representations for Liam and Sherlock. It kind of applies here, where his music is created mostly by piano.
There is modulation, emotions rising and elevating quickly and strongly. But the harmony is beautiful, overflowing and rich with emotions. The song repeats certain lines, emphasizing aspects within Liam's thoughts.
Unlike Sherlock's train of thoughts that circles with no destination, Liam's solo has a definite ending in harmony -> Even with all his emotions in mind, Liam still has a goal already set before him. He has a brief moment of slowing down, pausing and sung about his feeling, before resuming the story.
Leading us to the final stage - Kokoro no Rondo.
Third Movement - Rondo Vivace: Kokoro no Rondo
youtube
Rondo formation: Rondo is a type of dance that revolves around a pattern, often ABA, ABACA, or ABACABA - where A is the ritournello ("meguri - kimi ni omou - meguru kokoro no rondo" section) that is repeated over and over with B, C parts in between. Rondo can also be combined with sonata form - this case applies to this song which begins with a key other than the tonic (Fm) before resolving to the tonic key (Fm) to put an end to the entire sonata series. For reference purposes, the last movement of Beethoven's Pathetique or the very typical Fur Elise is also written in a similar format. I also referred to Pathetique quite a lot when brainstorming this post.
♛♛♛ The "final movement" of this Sonata, the final scene of their "Hide and Seek" game. The song's tempo is vibrant and rapid, combining with the dancing sense, all the while strictly following the structure of a Rondo as mentioned above.
This is the stage where Liam and Sherlock's line interacts and reply to each other, as if in a real conversation - just like how the connection between them are now much stronger than what they had before.
In the ritournello, we have Liam and Sherlock's lines intertwining and chasing after one another, emphasizing the "Hide and Seek" element between the two of them.
The song comes to a definite ending, concluding with a strong tonic (Fm) chord. At this stage, there is no more question to be left open, for Sherlock at this point has already made up his mind to take the next step into solving the mysteries regarding the Lord of Crime.
Their imaginary game of Hide and Seek is coming to an end, as Sherlock came to a decision to take the next step - going to Durham.
That's the end of my first draft.
So far that is some of my thoughts noted down right after watching Op. 3 stream a while ago, with some edition made just now.
On the side note, at some point during my discussion with a friend, we also came up with the idea that a Suite may be a better reference. A Suite consists of 4 parts and a prelude, each of them having their specific characteristic. But we didn't go all the way analysing that idea, as 1) we couldn't find a 5th piece that can be added into the series. 2) Even if we did, the Truth or Lie song still would not really fit into the "aria" vibe of this series, as mentioned above.
But then quite interestingly, after a while, I've found another interesting fact that should have been quite obvious but I've missed for (lol) like ages.
The game of Hide and Seek between the detective and the Lord of Crime has begun ever since after Hope's case - that being said, ever since the end of Op. 1
And what is it that we have in Op. 2? "The Mind games of the Lord of Crime". The one where Sherlock went maniac rapping about all the thoughts he has and end up shooting randomly into the wall.
At first it begins like another recitative, but in the later half, the harmony starts to become more harmonious, written in 3/4 time flowing like a dance.
In that section, the melody of the piano and violin part resembles the one we have in Kokoro no Rondo, the Ritournello section, only that the melody of the violin in Op. 2 and the melody that SherLiam sung in Op. 3 are kind of reversed.
Coincidence much?
So now we have a collection of songs from both Opus, it becomes tricky. How do we connect them? And what's the story?
At this point, all these recitatives, aria and duets all in the theme of the Hide and Seek game. And they all connect to each other through harmony, progressions in harmony.
We know that the Mind games of the Lord of Crime has begun from ever since the end of Op. 1. We know that Sherlock keeps wondering about that in Op. 2, and then he wonders even further after he has been tested by the Lord of Crime. "また俺だけのメッセージなのか?" - Is this a message just for me?, as he wondered in the Truth or Lie song. We knew all of that. But Morimyu didn't let that stop them from emphasizing on this subplot even further.
They didn't let the gap between Op. 2 and Op. 3 stop them from making a smooth flow in plot either.
Correction, they didn't simply create a flow. They established a connection, all the while showing a strong progression of Sherlock's thoughts that goes on from Op. 2 straight onto Op. 3.
Very often, what makes a good plot is how their plots and sub-plots intertwine with each other. Morimyu has a main plot that follows Moriarty gang in the plan of changing society. And they have a smaller plot told from Sherlock's side of things. And they have this sub-plot told by harmony of how Sherlock is connected to Liam, or the Lord of Crime, by an invisible thread. A connection that is only expressed that clearly in Morimyu.
We have so many things going on, so many songs throughout the play. But each of those elements are all connected to something else, creating a sub-plot that enriches the main plot.
There is no loose connections. For everything that connects to the main plot, they're also linked to other elements. Each scene and every song has their own meaning not only in regards to other songs, but also to the plot as a whole.
Also, did I mention how Morimyu feels like a grand piece of music?
Opus -> What classical songs had that basically shows the order in which they are written. Morimyu - a title piece itself - has 3 Opus, 3 different parts with the same theme.
Classical music very often had all the different elements in it -> Morimyu had an overture, the song they sing just before the main theme song, just before introducing the stage. Then arias, ensembles and choruses. All of them are connected by similar harmony.
Classical music always had a big general theme, with each section having a smaller sequence connecting to each other. Subplots within a big plots. A Sonata piece has 3 movements, each having their own "sections" of development - expositions, development, recapitulation. -> Morimyu does the same to their plot and subplots, as discussed above.
Also, Opera reference
While Opus 2 used an opera reference to tell the story, I feel like Opus 3 has become an Opera itself. During Op. 2 the arias were mostly very loyal to the manga, taking their lines from the original work, like the Mind Games song. Their story progresses steadily but logically.
However starting from Op. 3, the aria became more independent. They developed and expressed even further what wasn't said in the manga. For instance, the 3 songs mentioned in the "Sonata" above. And there's also Albert's solo, and Patterson's solo and Milverton, which I haven't got the chance to discuss all.
But either way, they spring out of the original story, adding more emotions and "colours" to the characters. The aria became more original, all the while also much more expressive. We get to see new sides of the characters that we haven't seen anywhere before.
Anyways, it's probably time to go back to the main question: How Morimyu used music to go beyond what's on the pages.
-> Musicals aren't simply about music added to acting. The characters on stage don't just simply starts singing for no reason. All the songs are meant to express something, and while they do they also establish various connections to the plot's progression.
We don't get to see much of the characters' emotions in the manga. And we don't see much of the side story, the finer details behind each arc. Every time, Morimyu adds something original to enrich their plot. They express and develop what's already known to all the viewers, especially regarding the emotional and motivational side of the characters.
-> The manga shows us the entire plot, with details related, back stories that lead to the present, and all. But it doesn't give a lot of hint into how characters might feel. Surely, reading between the lines, it's up to the readers to interpret them.
But Morimyu gives us all of that, and they leave it to us to read between the music.
And even if we didn't, that's fine. Then the purpose of all of them linking together would be to create a performance where everything is connected harmoniously, allowing us to be emerged in the world of Yuumori.
-> The purpose of having a stage, primarily, is to allow the audience to engage in, experience and feel the emotions along with the characters they see on stage. The point of having a live stage, a plot, and the music, are all to let us emphasize with the characters on stage.
In Morimyu, we aren't just watching a plot between our favourite characters happening as we know it from the manga. We see a combination of mysteries unveiling slowly, the stories on the side of each characters as they slowly progress forward, as well as emphasising with their emotions in the story.
That's what I really like about Morimyu.
So, WHAT'S THE POINT OF THIS?
So I had to scroll back to the top (lol) to quote this and make sure I haven't gone too far from the main theme.
Regarding musical Yuumori, there's always so many things I'd like to talk about. And if I start going on about it then it only gets harder to focus on one single topic.
Since the topic here is Morimyu and their music, especially in classical reference, I've tried to keep everything I've discussed relevant. But whenever I start on something, there would always be something that comes to mind. Like how other songs might also have certain connections, or how they used stage directions and lightings, etc. I really want to look more into stage directions in Morimyu as well, but that would have to wait...
Anyways, I tried to keep this as simple as possible. When I sent the first version of this to my friends, I keep having the feeling that I got too technical with all the theories about harmony and structure lol
And once again, this is only some of my own interpretation of the series that I've picked up.
If something else came to mind... well. Either way, for the purpose of engaging in their wonderful music or for the purpose of watching a beautiful stage just for enjoyment, Morimyu definitely is worth watching. And to watch over and over again. I've said this for Op. 2 but I'll say this ten times as much for Op. 3. Truly magnificent.
And, that's pretty much it that I have for today, I guess.
Thanks a lot to all my friends who gave me lots of inspiration and motivation to complete this ヽ(・∀・)ノ Lots of love to @rikaaki as well ヽ(・∀・)ノ

Always read the job description -Part 1
Max was a fit, well built man. He had been body building since he was 14 and now In his early 40s he has the body of a god, but is slowly getting to the age when he needs to find another way to make money. He knows he can't take part in his competitions anymore, and needs to take it easy. He got great grades in school and college, proving people wrong that you can't be a nerd in a jock body.
Max had some money saved and was able to keep up on bills for a few months but needed a job to keep his large house, in the rich area of the city. He got a call from a business he applied to a couple of days ago, telling him to go in for an interview tomorrow, and if it goes well he will be sent straight on a trip for the company. He gets his new blue suit ready to be worn the next day.
The morning arrives, it's 5am, and Max wakes. He does his normal morning routine, making breakfast, working out, taking a shower, then gets his suit on ready for his early morning interview. Driving to the office building in the middle of New York, it's at least 50 stories high, and is made of mostly glass, and is one of the newest modern builds in the city.
On arrival a large man in his late 60s wearing a suit greets him, "hello sir, you must be max, Sir Mammon is on his way down to collect you, may I say what an amazing suit you have on today".
Max looks the man up and down, seeing the man's huge belly flowing out from under his dress shirt, showing a massive W shape, "thanks mate, you might want a bigger shirt" then points to his belly.
"sorry if I offended you sir, but all clothing has been chosen by Sir Mammon himself" Mammon is the big boss of the business "if you would like to make a complaint I can print you a form".
Max laughs, "No thanks, I'm gonna sit over there, tell Mammon im there".
"will do sir, have a great day" the man says while max walks away paying no more attention to him.
About 15 minutes later a young handsome slender man walks over. "Max is it?" He says behind Max.
"yes.." max says confused.
"I'm Mammon, nice to meet you" he smiles holding his hand out for a shake.
"oh hello Mammon, is wasn't expecting someone so young, no offence of course" max shaking his hand.
Mammon let's out a little laugh, with a little grin "it's ok max, people don't expect someone like me to own such a remarkable company like this one would you like to follow me, we can go up to my office, this is Mark by the way, he's my Butler". Mark is another large man aged around 50, he has a massive belly stuffed into his suit, hes huffing and puffing, like he ran a marithon, "don't mind him, most of my staff are..."
Max cuts him off "fat?"
They both laugh, "you could say that Max" the elevator arrives and they all walk in, "now max, you did read the whole advertisement correct?".
Max didn't, it's was 48 pages long, who would read it all? He just looked at the wage he would get, it started at $100,000 per month. "Yes, I did".
"that's good, most guys are more keen to keep their body's but I guess if your struggling you'll do anything."
Max now confused just nod's and watches though the glass elevator as they fly up to the top floor.
"where here sir" Mark the butler says peacefully in his British accent.
They walk into the room, and Mammon sits at his desk pouring himself a glass of wisky, and Max one too. Max looks around in aww, the room was covered in art work, with the walls painted in golds and whites and had its own bar. "How do you have all this money?" Max asked.
"a mix of many things, this company, and a few investments paid for this whole building, I have many other ways but we're not here for that." Mammon points at the seat," take a seat max" Max sits the chair is made from leather and is very comfy. "So, max, I've gone through your file, I think you're perfect for the job."
"so, does that mean I have the job?" Max replies confused, expecting to be asked a question.
"well yes, if you agree to the terms"
"terms?" Max still confused.
"well yes, you expect to be paid 10times the amount the normal person for this job without any terms or conditions?"
"well I didn't know.." Max gets cut off.
"Max let me simplify them for you. You sacrifice your body to the company, and in trade you get, $100k X the amount you weigh paid into your account per month, So if you weigh 450lbs, you get $450k a month."
"what the fuck? That's sick, I'm not doing that, I'm leaving" and with that Max got up from the chair and stood face to face with Mammon, with the desk all that is separating them. "Your sick, you fa**ot".
With that Mammon's eyes glow a bright red. "I'm a what?" Max got through back against the chair by an invisible force. "Max you could have just left with your freedom, but now look what you've gotten yourself into".
"Let me go, What the fuck?" Max says while traped against that chair, it chreeking with the force of his muscle.
"I'm a fucking demon max, I'm never going to 'let you go'" he took a second break to mock max, "now, what did you say? Fa**ot, was it?".
"fuck, I didn't mean it" the force pins him down harder, trapping his arms against the leather chair arms, and pushing his legs against the underboard. "Please let me go home, I won't do it again."
"shut up max, the process is already starting".
Max looks down to see his body deflating, his pecs turning from mountain peaks to a flat surface, his giant powerful arms turning weak and light. And then looking up he sees a whole new man infront of him.
"Not as big as I thought I would get, but boy I'm big" he took a break to admire his new giant arms and pecs.
"what the?" Max looks in confusion, "how did you do that? Give me them back".
"what are you gonna do max? I'm an infinitely powerful being and you, your an old man, or at least your going to be."
"I'm only 42, what do you mean, going to be?"
"you see I don't have my infinite life span on earth, so to stay alive and in this fit body, I absorb anything a guy has and I want. In your case, these massive muscles, but then I need to absorb their life force as well, in order to make sure I don't age."
"what do you mean life force?"
"well, you have roughly 50 years, worth of life left, I'll drain about 20 years leaving you in your future crippled body at around age 60, force you to work for the company for another 20 years, then when your 80 drain the rest of your life, which after you get fat won't be much, then you got to hell."
"man your sick, let me go, LET ME GO!".
A bright red light shoots from Peters hand enveloping Max's whole body, and he starts to age, his face wrinkling, skin dropping, eye sight worsening, hearing getting muffled, and mind changing a little. "Max, you ok old man?".
"yes sir" max was confused in his mind, why did he say sir?
"max, you ready for your Cruise? You can have tones of food for the next 6 months."
"Yes sir, I'm ready" max lifts his head, opening his eyes to see a new blurry room from his new old eyes.
"you're gonna need these from now on" Peters eyes glow and a new pair of glasses appear on Max's face he can now see clear.
"thank you... Sir", max blinks seeing Peter infront of him, "what have you, done to me".
"Max, I've turned you into the perfect office worker, old, brainiac, who is soon going to get fat and live the rest of his life, in an office chair for me, don't worry for accomodation you live here now, we have apartments on floor 30 to 40, all workers live here, it's policy, we have also sent a team to your house to, well, blow it up, that way nobody is going to be looking for you, becuase we can plant a body"
"give me... My.... Body back, give me... My.. life back."
"Max we both know that will never happen, now enjoy a life of gluttony, and prepare yourself for hell, that's gonna be worse then anything I can do to you." Peter snaped his fingers and a red glow enveloped max.
Recovering from the glow max sees two men infront of him with a trolly of sorts between them. "Is he awake" one says,
"I don't know" said the other.
"im- awake" max said in a much older raspy voice.
"good we can now start the feeding" the man on the left said, his body as muscled as a god, ripped from head to toe, and we can see everything.
Max rubs his eyes under his glasses and opens them again, "Fucking hell, put some clothes on both of you".
Both men where nude, one a ripped god, another muscled up but with a big gut. "Clothes are banned here mate" the beefy man said in a type of Australia accent, "you cant say much fella, look at that tiny pecker".
The men laughed pointing at Max's shriveled up old cock and low hanging balls, "what the fuck"max tries to move his arm to cover him but his arm doesn't move, he looks down to see him stuck in a chair, with a cut out hole under his ass, and straps tying him down, trapping him. "What... Are you gonna do to me?" Max asked sceared.
The men laughed at him again, "no need to act to sceared, we're here to feed you for the next 6 months".
"but... Sir said..." Max get cut off.
"he said you'd be going on a cruise? Fucking hell are you dumb? He's a demon, you shouldn't trust a demon" The muscled guy says.
"bro let's start the feeding we have 50 other guys to see and I wanna watch football Tonight." The beefy guys says, and in unison both their eyes glowed a bright red, showing they where demons too.
The trolly between them had several items on top, one long tube, which floated in the air for a few moments before shoving itself down maxes nostril and deep into his stomach, his head flipped back trying to wriggle it out, but it was stuck. Another item moved into his frame, a IV bag holder, holding a giant barrel type object made of glass, and two large bags floated of the table again and started to drain into the barrel, and the tube connected itself to it, starting a flow of the liquid into maxes stomach.
"done" the beffy guy said. "Now we'll be back tomorrow to refill your barrel, and clean you up if you make a mess, but youll basically be unconscious for the next 6 months, due to the drugs were feeding you."
"so enjoy your sleep mate, you'll litterally wake up a different man." The two men laughed and walked out, max tried fighting the restraints but in his crippled form could do nothing. The door slammed and locked, and the room fell dark, max screamed begging into the darkness to be let free, and to have his life back, which he had only an hour before, but nothing happened, nobody came. He felt the drugs taking effect, but tried to fight back, but it was useless, his body slumped and loosened. His mind fell blank as he drifted of into his 6 month hibernation.
