i think doll lines have a bad habit of giving up and quitting when they have so much room to improve and grow.

#made this post for a myriad of reasons #ghoulia not getting anymore g3 dolls despite her only having 2 #mga deciding to randomly reboot rainbow high when it was already doing successful #mga cancelling mermaze before even releasing the sirenz dolls and making ppl track down the slumber party dolls #spinmaster canning mermaid high not even after their second line of dolls #etc. etc.#i might be wrong about some things and ik they primarily do this because of money and theyre corporations so uh #ozzie rambles #dolls #dollblr

I'm curious: are there any mh characters that you liked more in previous gens than in g3?

#Monster high #Like personally I liked Abbey and Ghoulia more in g1 #Only character-wise because g3 Abbey's body type and horns are just >>>>>>. And I'm glad they got her accent more accurate #And it's the same for Ghoulia (not because of the nonverbal discourse tho because she never was even tho I like the hc)#But I prefer g1 Ghoulia's design too #Also just to clarify I still love them in g3 #No hate towards any gen will be allowed I just wanna chit chat

Seeing g1 stans constantly say "they took away the g1 diversity" then never elaborate on it is funny as hell. Like please list off all the diversity g3 took away from g1.

first world problem alert but i wish mattel would stop essentially making the creeproductions basically limited edition. like if they marketed them as such i wouldn't care as much but the fact that they're not labeled as limited edition and then virtually are is just disappointing

#telly tells #monster high #like especially this go around because they sold out QUICK #and like. if i had the means i would have gotten ghoulia AND spectra but i just got spectra and now i have no idea when i'll be able to get #a ghoulia. like i'm super hyped over spectra but like. bittersweet that i coulnd't have ghoulia also bc she sold out already!!!! on release #and like also why haven't they restocked the first four repros too??? my only thought is that they don't want them competing with g3 on #shelves but like. people will still buy g3. then mattel would just be making double profits from ppl buying the repros too #just like i don't know. like yes consumerism is bad but like it angers me when companies whose ENTIRE GOAL is making profit just.#discard perfect opportunities to make BANK
