So agree with the above and some of the reblogs I've seen. Absolutely jumping on this! And I'll even limit myself to top five, though there are so many great artists in this fandom.
Obviously @lizanthium is my favourite artist as well as being one of my favourite human beings ever. Love her facial expressions and the way she just carries across emotion. The details to clothing as well. Chefskiss.
@pineapple-frenzy has stunning work and I just cannot ever get over how she draws Zuko's scar.
@te-al-latte just does stunning, stunning things that stay with me forever.
@beanaroony does such great... everything. Just everything.
And, last but not least for this list... I have such a huge art crush on things by @growingroses. Sitting staring with my heels in the air kind of art crush.
Well, I was pretty pissed last night and am pretty mad at myself for letting the negativity get to me, so… to balance that out by I decided to do something more positive. :D
My current favorite zutara artists are diornies, mayskalih (who also makes some awesome naruto fanart if you’re into that!), and demaparbat-hp (who also draws nice Harry Potter fanart if you’re into that too!)
I really love their art and their zk fanarts always bring me life! A huge thank you to them! <3
If you see this would mind sharing your favorite zutara artist? They don’t have to be on tumblr btw! Let’s just show some love to the artists who love and draw Zutara!
Here are links to these artists btw
#Zutara Fanart#Art Recs#Gonna reblog a few others who mention some of my other faves so I can cheat. :P#If I didn't limit this to five it would be forever long

Staring Contest, GO!
♡ Genre: Fluff ♡ Pairing: Bakugou x Reader
"Staring contest, GO!"
Bakugou glowered at you like the apex predator he assuredly wasn't. You peered up at him meekly, doe-eyed and innocent. Neither of you were willing to back down, to do so meant forfeiting your dignity as a human being.
"Stop giving me those puppy-dog eyes!" Bakugou yelled.
"This is just how I look..."
"STOP LOOKING SADDER YOU'RE MAKING IT WORSE!"
Bakugou grit his teeth. He couldn't stare into those puppy-dog eyes forever. Eventually, he'd feel so guilty he'd have to throw himself off of five decently sized cliffs. You just had that effect on him sometimes.
The rest of the class spectated from around the classroom, with some students piling themselves on a limited amount of desks just to watch the most infamous duo duke it out, staring contest style. Only Iida protested against this development, with yelling drowned out by everyone else's lack of giving a fuck.
Bakugou couldn't continue staring at you forever, because eventually something you said or did would make him blush in front of the entire class and he needed to keep his feelings for you a secret. It was his worst kept secret, because everybody already knew, but he tried all the same.
So he had to do something before your curious hand reached out and touched his fluffy hair.
"What the fuck are you doing?" he asked, catching your wrist like his hand was a handcuff.
"I got bored, so I wanted to play with your hair again!"
You looked at him oh so innocently from across the desk. Your classmates snickered.
"Again?" Kirishima asked, while sitting on top of a nearby desk. "So you've done this before?"
"Does it hurt to touch because of the spikes?" Sero asked, sitting in the seat of that same desk.
"It's surprisingly soft and nice and--"
"Don't tell them everything!" Bakugou snapped, his voice a growl as his hand still glued itself to your wrist. "That's none of their business."
"Sorry..." you said, smiling. "Can you stop clenching my wrist now? You're gonna make me flinch!"
You dropped your wrist onto the desk like a dead fish. You picked it back up and nursed it close to your chest. He didn't hurt you (he would never hurt you) but you liked to play up the vulnerable sweetie pie act sometimes.
"Sorry," he said.
"He said sorry for once!" Denki cried. "You hear that, class?"
"Shut. Up."
"Does it actually hurt?" Asui asked, standing beside your chair.
"Only a whole lot," you said, with a sniffle. "Gosh, you really--"
"Hey!" Bakugou pointed at you. "You fucking blinked!"
"What?"
"You blinked when you sniffled," Asui said.
"Oh darn!"
"HA HA!" Bakugou stood from his seat, pumping his fists. "Ya see that? Ya fucking see that?! That's what ya get for teasing me all the damn time!"
The rest of the class did not join in on his gloating, for they were too often on the receiving end of his arrogance and insults. Some students passed around money, having bet on your results. Others just sighed.
Bakugou still kept challenging you to extra staring contests afterwards just for an excuse to continue looking at you. He often commented on every part of your appearance and checked to see if you noticed his in turn. You would giggle and get embarrassed, causing you to blink. Then you would restart the staring contest all over again and Bakugou would continue riling you up just to see your sweet smile one more time. He could never get enough of you. The staring contests were all a convenient excuse to hang out with you more, so long as you allowed it.
And even after the contests, Bakugou really couldn't stop staring at your pretty face.
(At some point you probably need to take a picture together so he'd have something else to look at for once gosh darn it...)

xavier thinks you're cruel when you smile. everything about you is different, to the point where it feels like you're just a whole different person sharing the same face as the woman he knew. but then, when he met you as a lightseeker, he'd thought the same thing, that you were nothing like his best friend who didn't have any grand dreams of becoming a grandis knight, and only thought of living today to the fullest because she knew she would not see tomorrow. and then he'd fallen for the woman sacrificing her blood, sweat and tears just so that she could be claimed as his. and as predicted, he's fallen for you for the third time now, and he realizes that your personality could change a million times over a million lives, and he will love you more and more each time he meets you. because no matter what you do and no matter what you are trying to be, your smile blinds him each and every time. and that is what he finds cruel, because it must be cruel to make him fall for that smile again and again and again, and surely there is a limit to how many people one man can fall in love with. perhaps he's the exception, or perhaps it doesn't count because you are still one person. either way, it is torture, torture in its sweetest form that he could never hate you for, because you are not actually cruel, you are far kinder than he deserves.
"mister deepspace hunter," you sing, poking his cheek with a chicken plushie, "you can't sleep, we've only seen two movies."
"how many more are there?"
"three more in this series, and then we start the next fantasy series."
"you're insane," he says sweetly, burrowing further under your favorite blanket.
with a giggle, you lay your head down on his lap, hair splayed out on what he deems is your rightful pillow. "it's not a movie night if we don't stay up the whole night."
he's about to tell you that both of you need sleep, that it's not healthy to stay up this late or to pull all-nighters, but then he gazes down to where you're grinning up at him, and his heart stops for a second, because you are so, so, so beautiful, and he's gone.
sleep can wait another day.
zayne thinks you're cruel when you speak. you are reserved around him, and while he never thinks you should limit yourself, least of all on his behalf, maybe this is the most merciful path you can take. because once you do start speaking, once you place your hand over his across whichever table at whichever restaurant to go off on an excited ramble about your latest endeavor, everything else fades way. and it is cruel, to make him lose control all of all senses aside from sound. it is cruel to metaphorically force him on his knees to bend and dance to the sound of your voice and your voice alone. it leaves him vulnerable, to pain, to betrayal, to any and every harmful thing that could possibly be surrounding him, when he cannot observe, when he cannot fight, when he cannot be, while you are speaking. when every individual word you speak has its own unique significance, and he would not be able to kill anyone who interrupts you because he would not even realize it happened, too entranced by the spell you cast. he is not his own in those moments, he only belongs to you. and thankfully, nothing does befall him, because you are not actually cruel, you are far kinder than he deserves.
"what do you think?"
he pauses, hand in yours as the two of you walk, blinking at you a few times. "what do i think?"
"yeah, you, doctor," you tease, squeezing his fingers. "what do you think? i've been talking your head off for five minutes."
he is not jarred because he hadn't been paying attention, on the contrary he'd been hanging off your every word. his opinion simply does not matter as much in his eyes.
"i agree with you," he says, enjoying the way you beam at his concurrence, "but what did you think about the other article?"
predictably, you take the bait and launch into another long rant, and he wills this topic to last forever.
rafayel thinks you're cruel when you sleep. so, so soundly you sleep, sometimes in his own bed because he offers it to you like a fool. you look beautiful when you sleep, which is half the problem, and he knows that it is all sorts of wrong to find you beautiful when he's also paralyzed because of how similar your appearance is to death. from a distance, he could never tell the difference. it is only when he is next to you, holding your slack wrist in his hands, that he can breathe easier by pressing his fingers to your pulse. and he is terrified that one day he won't feel it, because it has happened before. one moment you were there, alive and well and his, and the next you were in his arms, lifeless and limp and somehow still beautiful. so there is no way for him to calm his racing heart when he sees you asleep, and the reason it's cruel is because he knows he cannot disturb you. not you, who works so hard and needs your sleep more than anyone else. he cannot ask you to sit up and breathe and laugh and show him that you're still alive. even though he knows you would should he ask, because you are not actually cruel, you are far kinder than he deserves.
"hmm." your eyes are bleary as they blink awake, hardly aware of where you are.
he slides his arms around you from behind, hiding his face in your neck. "you can go back to sleep, was just making sure you were still alive."
a quiet huff escapes you, clearly annoyed at being woken up for such a ludicrous reason. "don't be annoying."
he wasn't trying to be, this time. "okay," he whispers, "sorry."
you turn all of a sudden, shifting in his arms until you're facing him, with a light glare. another apology is on his lips when you crossly tell him, "i was kidding. you're not annoying."
"i can be. sometimes," he admits softly.
"no." you press a deep kiss to his lips, and he understands now why some humans would rather choose to drown under the sea instead of going back to the surface. "you're not annoying. you're never annoying. i love you. okay?"
his voice is choked the next time he speaks, with your face hidden in his neck, soft puffs of air on his neck letting him know that you're still breathing. a tear runs down his cheek.
"okay."

|| Selfish (Gojo Satoru X Reader) ||
(Reposted from my old blog which I don't have access to anymore (thanks Tumblr), if you liked it reblogs or likes would be appreciated to get me back on track since I've lost all my followers and half my work :(
In which Gojo is so protective over reader she's sure he hates her. Couldn't be further from the truth, but how would you know it without some good old-fashioned over dramatic angst?
TW: mentions of smoking and blood.
"He hates me. I swear, I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating..." You catch yourself muttering on the steps leading to the training field. The breeze tickles your skin, you cast your shoes aside to change them to trainers. "I didn't even have time to go back to my room and change. All day it's do this, go get that… I swear, Kyoto sounds like a great idea these days."
Nobara sits beside you, her look shifts to your shoes, "Where'd you get those? I never saw them in this color before."
"Kugisaki!" You plea, "I'm serious, please. Gojo hates me. How does it make sense that I'm stuck in damn Grade 2 for the past year and half?"
"Maybe," She takes her phone out to take a picture of your shoes, "You're just not as good as you think?"
"Oi, Kugisaki, don't talk to your elders like that!" Yuji's voice butts in, he sits with a thump on the stairs next to you. "But I can't imagine Gojo-Sensei hating anyone. Especially a teaching assistant. It makes no sense."
It really does make no sense, you drowned your face in your palms. How are all these kids supposed to take you seriously when they see you humiliated daily? Rejected from missions. Stuck on the same Jujutsu-Grade as the second year students for so long you've lost all hopes of ever advancing anywhere. Forever a teaching assistant, a mere substitute teacher for the times when the truly powerful had more important things to do.
Disheartened, you've reduced to sharing your feelings with first-years before training. "Alright, pair up. We haven't got all day!" You get up from the steps, trying to pick up the remains of your self-esteem.
Dusk crept over the surrounding trees. You've been watching the students for hours now, noticing how through each change in their pairings they've gotten better and faster. Familiar feelings loomed over you. That's it. That has to be it. Another day of watching these kids surpass their own limits so simply will surely be the end of the line.
You marched straight into Gojo's office, not even making an effort to change to something not drenched with sweat.
"We will not have that conversation again," the white haired man didn't even bother to look up from his phone. It's true, you've had this conversation every couple of months - and you've always received the same unsatisfying answers.
"You're right," you found yourself standing straight across from him, the palms of your hands hitting the desk in between you a little too hard.
"Careful with that, it's expensive." He says. You stare at him in silence. How is it, that with all the anger you hoped he'd notice you've directed at him, he wouldn't even avert his gaze from his phone for one minute?
"Saturo, I've -"
"First name basis, are we now?" Another smug smirk sent your way, your cheeks began to burn.
"I think first name basis may be appropriate, since I've decided to transfer to Kyoto." Oh god, when was that decision made? You've always liked Tokyo, the proximity from the city made all your futile efforts here worthwhile. But it was too late to back down. Gojo's hand reached to his blindfold, one blue eye peeks at you.
"Alright, good luck then." The blindfold snapped back on, his attention returned quickly to his phone.
"Good luck then," you mutter to yourself, walking back through the darkening corridors to your room, "Good luck then, huh?" It's been over five years now since you've first arrived in Jujutsu High, was good luck then all that he could say? What a fucking -"
-
"Emergency!" A voice rang through the building. Oh god, what now? You think, with your eyes set on your room to wallow the evening in your newly made terrible decision.
"Someone! Please!" Your legs carried you before your reasoning did. Through the curves of the hallways, straight to the first-year's rooms.
"It's Yuji," Kugisaki looked at you, panting, "He tried to pet Megumi's divine dog. I don't think the dog liked it."
Yuji held out his arm. After a thorough inspection, it was just a scary looking graze on his forearm. He muttered to Nobara it wasn't much to fuss about, the blood smearing on the sleeve of his uniform. "It's nothing bad, we'll tend to it any way to avoid an infection," you prompted him to get up from his seat, "I think Shoko's still in the infirmary."
You sat on the infermary bed, with Yuji already on his way back to his room you'd found the time to share your troubles. Shoko sighed, fumbling for a lighter through the things on the tray next to her. "Shoko, I'm going to Kyoto."
She lit her cigarette, the smell of smoke suffocating the small room. "That's nice, when will you be back?" She asked, huffing smoke in the direction of the open window.
"I don't think I'll be back for a while. Or at all, actually." She dragged a chair to the side of the bed, watching your fingers tap on the fabric.
"I wondered when you'll finally do that. You spoke to Satoru again, didn't you?" A sigh escaped her lips. She'd rarely admit to liking spending time with anyone, but the occasion seemed to call for it. "I'll miss you. That prick always thinks he's doing the right thing."
"I hardly think it's right to deny promotions from anyone for so long. He made sure I was so busy that I could hardly find the time to go on missions." Shoko weighed her words carefully, tapping carefully on the ashtray, removing the ash residue from her cigarette.
"It's because he'd never tell you how scared he is for something to happen to you. It's still selfish, don't get me wrong there - but I think he's far too afraid of something happening that it has become easier for him to sabotage you. I told him repeatedly to stop but he just -" Her words cut off by a knock on the door.
"Ieri! You there?" Gojo's impatient knocking had turned frantic. "The lights are on, Shoko. Open up!" Your eyes shot up at Shoko, speak of the devil. The handle turned lightly.
Gojo entered the room, turning straight to Shoko, not even looking at your direction. You'd managed to quickly find an excuse to leave, struggling to believe that's the same man who'd do anything out of concern for you. You closed the door, fingers lingering on the round handle, thinking how wrong it would be to eavesdrop while pressing your ear to the door.
"You know she's really leaving, right?" Shoko's distant voice lectured. "That's on you for acting selfish, Gojo." As you thought, he said nothing. Quickly diverting the conversation to something relating to a mission, another one you weren't supposed to be a part of. Perhaps it was wrong to eavesdrop. You stepped away from the door to turn to the direction of your room. Finally, some good wallowing time.
-
By the next morning, you've already made all the necessary calls. Wishing somehow it would be harder to convince the higher-ups of your sudden move, but it seemed that help was welcome anywhere, and work always needed to be done.
With your bags half packed, you were almost ready to say the sudden goodbyes to the students. The nostalgic look on every part of your room had already taken over, the final time of staring at that crack on the ceiling, the final time of covering that old coffee stain on the nightstand with a small glass whale statuette Gojo brought from one of his trips. Perhaps it's better to leave it there.
You gathered your nerves, opening the door, just to watch the tall white haired man pace from side to side in the hallway. "Did I forget something?" Your hand held the door open. He jumped up a bit from the sudden voice.
His pacing slowed, he took a step towards you, you gulped at the narrowing distance between your bodies. "I - spoke to Shoko. I think I got carried away, you don't have to leave on my account." The words felt empty as he said them, Shoko must have chewed him out well yesterday.
"You know Go-," You inhaled, "Satoru, not everything happens because of you." He dropped his sunglasses further down on the bridge of his nose, his blue eyes piercing through you. You hardly ever saw him without his blindfold, his stare sending shivers down your spine.
"Shoko was quite adamant it's all my fault, So I thought I better -"
You laughed, "Shoko was also quite adamant that all this time you just cared about me, so I guess even smart people can be wrong sometimes."
"But I do." His hand brushes through his hair, just for it to fall over his eyes again.
"Funny," you snarl, he studies your expression silently. You've taken advantage of that silence to continue, "So all these years you were just protecting me from dying? I thought sorcerers had accepted that fate when walking in here."
"Some things are worse than death," A solemn look takes hold of his face, you could have sworn the color of his eyes darkened.
"Do you take me for such a weakling?" Your tone of voice already deeming the conversation as pointless.
"I never said that. I think you care, perhaps too much. I would never want to see you sacrifice yourself over anything." The joyless tone of voice was far from his usual demeanor.
"Well, now you wouldn't have to see me at all." Your nerves had gotten the best of you. You hardly meant to say it, but as the words were spat out of our mouth, it seemed inappropriate to back off this course of action.
"You're not listening to me, (Y/N)" He could hardly cover how irritated he was, his hand gripped your forearm, pushing you towards him. His breath stroked your face, "I would never want something to happen to you, but you seem to be pushing towards it all the time. Aren't you happy with the students? Why do all of you have to go running around searching for burdens to carry when you don't have to?" His fist contracts tighter around your arm. His teeth clench to stop another flow of words he'd regret later on.
"Satoru, who's all of us?" In your voice a sense of shame, an empty pit has formed down at the bottom of your stomach, his eyes still fixed upon you. The same feeling of being scorned as a child, a tough love you'd thought would pass you by at this age.
"Aren't you happy?" he questions you again, you wiggle your arm as a sign of pain, even as he lets it go you still feel the marks that his fingers left there.
"I am, It's just that -" He couldn't let you go on for a second longer, his lips pressing firmly against yours, your breath sucked away by his tongue. A long minute passed, your hand had found a happy place inside his hair, his arms had restricted your movement and emitted safety all together.
Just as he'd stopped for a breath, you'd decided it'd be far too hard to continue the conversation if this went on.
"I'd like to not be hindered, Satoru," you wiped the wetness of your lips with your sleeve, "Nobody comes to Jujutsu-High to be protected, they come to protect. If I can't do it when you're there, I'll go." You watched his face change, his mind racing behind the sunglasses.
"You can do it here," A piece of sadness was left in an otherwise tranquil voice.
"Good." Your smile had reminded him to breathe, "Now," you mused, "Would you mind kissing me like you're angry again?" His laughter lifted the tension from your body,
"Oh - Dirty," The familiar smirk had settled down the final waves of emotion.
-
"Not a word, Shoko." You pleaded to her again.
"If you don't want the school talking about it, then don't have your arguments in the hall." She took a long drag from her smoke, "Would you mind kissing me like you're angry again?" She imitates you silently, chuckling under her breath.
"Shoko, I'm begging you!"

Okay but see I'm so petty I would ignore vio forever now until he apologized that man needs to get on his mf knees if he even wanted me to look his damn direction fr
the promised continuation of the vio angst🥰 i didn't screenshot all the asks requesting for it bc then this would just be a very long post of nonnies slowly cursing vio out more and more violently with each pic ahaha (which i love tbh😩💕) but know that i've read each and every single one🥺🩷 i wrote this one in his third-person limited so there's a bit more insight into his thoughts❗❗
(that being said, there isn't much grovelling and his asking for your forgiveness here which i'm really sorry abt. i did try to go that route originally to align w/ some of the requests i've gotten, but vio actually just isn't the type. at least at the point in the relationship being depicted!! gotta keep in mind he is super arrogant and has probably never apologised once in his life😔💔 tho, he is suffering in his own way, rest assured. the silent treatment kinda broke him haha)
warning that there is a bit of violence here and gaslighting (??), ig just typically what you'd expect to see in a yandere work,, this really ran away from me bc it's like 800 words😭
Three days had passed. Vio sat inside his trailer, feet up on the dressing table, more annoyed than he’d ever been in his entire life. Blue hair in his reflection, mussed from his constant ruffling, looking unkempt and barely like himself — and it was all your fault. His agency was paying you a salary in five figures and your only job was to take care of him, which inherently, you were doing, but you were also ignoring him and Vio couldn’t stand it.
His eyes flicked over almost instantly when you walked in, tracking every movement from your shutting the door to hanging your coat over the back of the closest chair. All Vio could see were the snowflakes in your lashes because that was all you’d let him, your gaze downcast, avoiding his. Pride made him bite his lips, because actually, he fucking missed the way you’d look at him. He missed your voice and he missed your pretty words, and it was all lumping in his throat so he couldn’t admit it although he wanted to.
Something weak sounded from him; a desperate grab for your attention that didn’t work. He kicked his script to the floor knowing you’d pick it up, then watched with a clenched jaw as you did exactly that, not even a fleeting glare in his direction. Somehow, Vio felt like he was running out of time, papers placed back neatly and your back already turning, it was the curl of worry in his gut that had his hand snapping to your wrist and tugging you back to him.
“You,” he gritted, frustrated at the pull back, at your resistance — no, your refusal of him. “Don’t fucking ignore me!”
Clearly, you weren’t listening, for all that Vio wrested you into his lap, your eyes wouldn’t even meet his through the mirror. Your bones solid against his palm, and he squeezed, hard enough to take you in, to let out the anger. Though, watching your face twist in pain, tendons in your neck constricting just to cut off the whimper, Vio didn’t even know who to be mad at anymore.
All he wanted was for you to give in.
He’d missed you so much, he would dream of you saying his name again. As you always would, and give him that love he was addicted to — yours, that tasted like kisses to open flesh. Raw and sincere to the point that Vio would rather stay splayed and bloodied instead of getting help. He didn’t feel like he could come back from this, or who he’d become because of you. If he was falling from grace, he’d hale you with him.
“Y/N…” This time, it came as a whisper, erratic mind lulled quick to the sensation of your pulse pressing firm against his fingers. Counting throbs, taking breaths for you, telling himself to be kinder, kinder. “Talk to me,” his forehead rested on your shoulder blade, “let’s not do this anymore, hm?”
Gentility got a rise out of you, it seemed, in the form of a gasp and the violent twists to free yourself that followed. “Don’t you dare,” your tone was accusatory, yet when Vio leaned away he saw the tell in your tears, “you’re not allowed to act fucking civil after what you did.”
His brow twitched. Irritation. He didn’t have a clue what you were talking about. Either way, acting was already his whole career — it might as well have been his entire damn life, and he wasn’t going to be reminded. If you weren’t a director and he wasn’t the star of your show, he didn’t need you telling him what he could and couldn’t do. His grip on you tightened.
“I didn’t do anything,” he hissed.
Outside it had begun to rain, heavy droplets melting the sleet from the windows. Steady patters the furthest thing from therapeutic in his current headspace, Vio almost missed your broken, “liar.”
Knocking his knee to white wood had the make-up brush holder tipping, contents rolling around, more noise buzzing in his head as he adjusted you. Finally, you were forced to focus on him, and Vio's eyes were unblinking, boring into yours. “You’re making baseless accusations.”
“You told me no one would love someone like me.”
“I asked you who could,” Vio bit back instantly, then, his voice softened, “...and the answer is me.”
Purple dotted into red when he let you go, wiping at your wet face. Speckled like poison in a garden of roses — what he was to you, and what you were to him. Vio thought it was fitting, beauty in that you were both to die of each other. His incurable illness. His darling disease. You shouldn’t have gotten so close to that gaffer.
“Only I can. Only I am allowed. Remember that, and love me in turn.”

Run From Me Darlin'
Tommy Shelby x female reader (Alfie's wife)
A/N: Taking shelter requested by @thomashelbyswife. Song is "Run from Me" by Timber Timbre. Prompts "I didn't know where else to go." Part of my Corrupt a Wish challenge.
Divider credit: @wethairjoel
Warnings: language, mention of infidelity, betrayal Corrupt a wish reminder: If you think this story has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention. Proceed with caution!
The servants at Margate had long since retired when they heard their master's voice echoing throughout the house, along with an eery melody from the ancient piano in the parlor.
"Run from me, darlin' Run, my good wife Run from me, darlin' You better run for your life"
And so you were in that moment, escaping a mad man who had made your life a misery from the moment you said I do. You ran from your seaside home in only your night dress, no possessions or money to your name. It was fear that drove you from him that night as he threatened to kill you.
That's how you found yourself on the doorstep of Tommy Shelby's manor the next morning, your shivering form but a memory of the woman he'd come to know the past five years.
"Y/n, what's happened?" Tommy asked as he ushered you inside and draped a blanket over you.
"I didn't know where else to go," you cried in despair, breaking down the moment you saw his sympathetic sapphire eyes staring back at you.
"You're going to be alright," he assured you, looping a strong arm around your waist for support. "Tell me what he's done," he urged, guiding you to sit on the sofa in his office.
He poured you a drink to steady your nerves and you confided everything. The periods of time you'd been locked in your room because of his suspicions about the two of you, followed by angry and often nonsensical tirades. Your chest heaved with pain and your voice faltered with hiccuped gasps at the horrendous treatment you'd received for over a month.
"How did you manage to escape?" Tommy asked.
"A door left ajar by a new maid," you replied.
Tommy nodded solemnly as he listened, then drained his glass of whisky without answer. He didn't have to because you knew he didn't believe in hurting women, having agreed many times before that his friend's behavior was crossing a line.
As Tommy lightly stroked your hair, you felt compelled to share the threat against him as well, quietly explaining Alfie's plans to crush Shelby Company Limited with his uncle's connection to the opium trade in America. Though you sensed his frustration as his fingers curled into your shoulder, you tried to soften the blow by proposing this as a time of new beginnings. "Run away with me, Tommy," you urged, gazing hopefully into his eyes.
"Leave it to me," he assured, placing a chaste kiss to your temple.
You settled back against him, covering his hand with yours before giving way to exhaustion.
Feeling your body grow heavy with sleep, Tommy called for the housekeeper to look after you. "Frances, take Y/n upstairs and draw a bath," he instructed carefully. "Then prepare the guest room for her. She'll be staying with us tonight."
"Yes, sir," the woman replied, taking you by the hand with such gentle ease, you began to weep.
"Oh, my dear," she gasped as she guided you upstairs. "Don't worry, Mr. Shelby will set it right." And you couldn't help but believe the promise in her voice.
Downstairs Tommy paced his office in agitation before finally tossing his glass against the fireplace in anger. As the shards of glass fell at his feet, he tried not to picture your beatific face crumbling. In fact, he tried not to think of you at all as he raised the receiver to his ear.
"What the fuck do you want?" Alfie grumbled.
Tommy traced the phone cord, thinking of all the times his so-called friend had betrayed him and how fitting it would be to humiliate him by stealing his wife forever. However, the notion of partnering together to control the opium trade abroad was far more enticing.
"How is your uncle in Boston?" he asked.
Alfie huffed out a laugh as he asked, "And why are you so concerned about the state of my family this evening?"
Tommy didn't have to say your name, it was implied the moment he began to negotiate. "You'd exchange my wife for access to Boston, would ya?" Alfie sneered with a knowing grin.
"I would," Tommy answered without hesitation.
And that's how the deal was made late one September afternoon as you soaked in the bath, quite unaware you would be reunited with your husband the following morning.
You had one last peaceful slumber before realizing you'd been sold out, exiting Arrow House kicking and screaming against the men your husband sent to punish you.
"I thought you loved me. How could you do this?" you cried when you glimpsed Tommy's somber face waiting in the drive.
Motioning for the men to let you go, Tommy welcomed you into his open arms as he whispered, "It's not personal, it's business."
You wanted to fight him, but instead you pleaded for your life. "Have mercy," you begged against his lips when he offered one last passionate kiss. A glimmer of promise was restored in that moment as you swore you felt his muscular frame give way into yours. However, you underestimated the strength of his resolve. One look into his icy blue eyes told you, he would never claim you as his own.
"Run," Tommy urged you under his breath, waiting for Alfie's men to give chase.
As he watched you flee toward the open field where he kept his horses, he hoped your swinging gate would prevail. Swallowing hard at the sight of his betrayal, he loathed the man he had become.
"Run for your life," he whispered, knowing it was already too late.

𓇼 the sun & the sea 𓇼 〰✷〰
— apollo / lester x daughter of poseidon!reader
part i | part ii | part iii | part iv
☆ radiostar is playin': forever always by the driver era…!
warnings: none taglist: @emidpsandia
He, apparently, was dead missing.
"He went alone on the mission with Python. He hasn't returned for three days now." A month later, Meg contacted you through an Iris message and explained everything that had happened. A month later and the days passed, nobody knew about him.
"We only know that he retrieved all the Oracles and the gifts of prophecy returned," Chiron told you, and Dionysus, for the first time, looked nervous and worried about his brother.
But if Apollo had succeeded in his mission, where was he? You hadn't dreamed of him either. Days went by and your anxiety grew.
"I didn't agree, but my brother insisted on pushing him to the limit," Poseidon said seriously, and Percy replied, "I think he took it too literally, don't you?" You suppressed a groan while your father scolded your brother with his gaze. Python was gone forever, but they knew nothing of Apollo.
"It's okay, it's only been five days," you thought, but you realized that every day you did it with a new number and without any news until almost two weeks had passed... Honestly, you didn't know how many times you had cried in all that time, you didn't even bother to hide it, and even your roommate requested a room change.
Lately, the time was bad in every sense. Thunder rumbled, and you hugged the pillow tighter, tears already rolling down your cheeks. The room was colder than usual; after all, you were alone in it. You accompanied yourself with the dim light of your desk lamp, and the flash of lightning illuminated the darkest corners. You realized you were crying over too many things, everything was very recent, you hadn't even finished processing Jason's death, and those lightning bolts... all they did was remind you of it.
"Wasn't it enough with him?" You wondered as you let out your sobs. Jason was his son just like Apollo, and if he led them both to death just to reaffirm his authority to everyone, you had no doubts that Zeus was a cruel father. The thunder shook the window, and you closed your eyes in anger, not retracting anything, even if Zeus annihilated you with one of his lightning bolts, you would never do so. Probably beyond, on Olympus, your own father struggled with annoyance with his brother, but even if Poseidon wasn't half the father that Paul was to you and Percy, he would never allow you to be harmed.
Your tennis sounded against the wet sand of the path leading to your favorite café. You walked in a ghost town with a hollow chest and the cold penetrating your bones, but it didn't matter because you already felt like those skeletons that Nico brought to the surface when he was in a bad mood; anyway, you moved forward to have a hot chocolate, it was Sunday, you had to have enough strength for classes the next day.
— Here it is — the lady said when you had just formed in line at the bar. You frowned and shook your head.
— Surely it's for someone else, I just got in line.
The girl smiled and looked at the label.
— Hot chocolate? —she asked in the waiting line, and no one recognized it, she returned to you and handed it to you again. — It was ordered in advance.
A joke from Frank? Frank didn't make jokes. But if it were, how did he know what you wanted?
You took it and looked at the label, it had a sun drawn on it that made you purse your lips. "Of course, it had to be," you thought bitterly and walked back taking the long way, the one that passed by the small Tiber.
The sunlight barely reflected on the water after all it was covered by the clouds, and you sighed as you looked at the huge body of water, your chest hurt. How did this happen? You would be better off if you hadn't entered that Grove, but you had to do your will, but you wouldn't have had those days with Apollo, which provoked mixed emotions in you again.
"this rhymes for him were different, but he hopes for put that ring and find what he's been missing."
— If you wanted to marry me so much, come back and do it — you murmured with your nose buried in your scarf and tears stinging your eyes. You cut your step and faced the river that continued to shine coldly, the small cup you held slipped from your hands with each sob, and when you let out the first whimper, you let it go. However, it didn't fall. You gasped, and when you looked beside you, your breath left you.
Of those brown curls, only a few remained mixed with the blond ones, of the freckles you counted that last time you had him too close, there were only about three hundred instead of a thousand. He was taller, and his body more athletic, but he wore the same Led Zeppelin t-shirt and ripped jeans from the knees. His smile was big and triumphant, the same blue eyes you had been waiting to see were just trying to memorize your fractions in the same way you were doing with him.
— And are you serious or are you just fooling me?— His voice. You threw yourself into his arms without considering if he could be hurt, but judging by how he looked... then you took him by the shoulders, he foolishly thought you would kiss him, but you just leaned back and kicked him in the chest with the skill that only you could have.
He groaned on the ground in a fetal position, and seconds later, he rose on his elbows with a confused look.
— Idiot — you shouted as you walked towards him and knelt to be at his height. Apollo couldn't help but smile like an idiot, and you couldn't help but hug him again. — Where the hell were you?
Your whimpering caused guilt in his chest, and he took care of your head as both lay back on the grass. He stroked your hair as you clung to his chest, wishing his scent would imprint on you to never forget it.
— Hey…— He called you, and you looked up, noticing tears in his eyes too. You cupped his cheek and, before he could say anything else, you kissed him. The first kiss. He closed his eyes, completely surrendered to you, feeling like he could finally breathe freely after months. When your soft lips left his, he held you tightly, burying his face in your neck. You couldn't see it, but Apolo had a flushed face and a knot in his stomach.
But you didn't need to see it, because as he hid in you, the sun broke through the clouds, shining brightly, almost lighting up the whole world with brighter colors than before. It was with that detail that you confirmed he had become a god again, and his feelings were showing to you in too many ways.
— I…— You spoke after several minutes of silence, causing him to sit properly on the grass with you, holding your hand. — I do want to be with you. I'm not just messing around, just so we're clear.
— Do you have an alternative? — He joked, and you gently pushed him while nervously looking at your hands.
— Fool.
— For you, of course — he cooed as he took your chin in his hand and forced you to look at him. His cheeks were still flushed, but you noticed that his skill to seduce without seeming like an inexperienced teenager had returned, and that's where your first jealousy arose because you wished only you could have that side of him.
— And only for me, I'm sure — you grumbled under your breath at having that thought, and he laughed.
— I was born to love only you, believe me.— Apollo said, getting up and offering his hand to help you. — And just like art, I'll be faithful to you.
— Wow, what a great poet — you took his hand, and he took you by the waist, bending down to touch his nose to yours. You never believed in the expression "like a Greek god" until he looked at you in that way.
— Are you going to marry me? — He stroked your nose with his while gently squeezing your waist. You nodded silently like a fool, and he gave you a peck on the lips with a smirk. — I just wanted to make sure, but actually, I don't need any of that to be devoted to you. You're everything to me.
He took your hand and led you along the edge of the small Tiber, which now shone fervently.
•
— Apollo! — You shouted from the reception of the mansion on Olympus, closing the big door forcefully and looking at your husband playfully peeking behind his throne.
— Yes, dear? — You pursed your lips and approached him.
— Where are my things?
— Which ones? — He played dumb, and you sighed.
— From my bedroom at the university, where are they?
—In your room...— you raised an eyebrow — here.
You growled and pulled him to come out from behind the throne.
— I told you it would be until I graduated.
Apollo pouted and slumped his shoulders.
—But I miss you.
You smiled and hugged him.
— I miss you too, but— you stepped back and showed the ring on your ring finger —I have this, darling, and that's enough to scare off my classmates. I don't need to come down from Olympus every day when I can be in the dorms.
Apollo nodded regretfully.
— Alright, alright...— he snapped his fingers and smiled at you — everything is already in your silly university dorm.
You smiled and gave him a kiss. As you started making your way to the exit, he sighed.
— I'll see you tonight — he shouted, and you turned around smiling.

|| Selfish (Gojo Satoru X Reader) ||
All day it's do this, go get that… I swear, Kyoto sounds like a great idea these days." Nobara's look shifts to your shoes, "Where'd you get those? I never saw them in this color before." "Kugisaki!" You plea to her, "I'm serious, please. Gojo hates me. How does it make sense that I'm stuck in damn Grade 2 for the past year and half?" "Maybe," She takes her phone out to take a picture of your shoes, "You're just not as good as you think?" "Oi, Kugisaki, don't talk to your elders like that!" Yuji's voice butts in, he sits with a thump on the stairs next to you.
You've marched straight into Gojo's office, not even making an effort to change to something not drenched with sweat. "Saturo, I've -" "First name basis, are we now?" Another smug smirk sent your way, your cheeks began to burn.
What a fucking -
"Emergency!" A voice rang through the building. Oh god, what now? With your eyes set on your room to wallow the evening in your newly made terrible decision. "Someone! Please!" Your legs carried you before your reasoning did. Through the curves of the hallways, straight to the first-year's rooms. "It's Yuji," Kugisaki looked at you, panting, "He tried to pet Megumi's divine dog. I don't think the dog liked it." Yuji held out his arm.
"Shoko, I'm going to Kyoto." She lit her cigarette, the smell of smoke suffocating the small room.
By the next morning, you've already made all the necessary calls. Wishing somehow it would be harder to convince the higher-ups of your sudden move, but it seemed that help was welcome anywhere, and work always needed to be done. Your bags half packed, you were almost ready to say the sudden goodbyes to the students.
"You know Go-," You inhaled, "Satoru, not everything happens because of you." His dropped his sunglasses further down on the bridge of his nose, his blue eyes piercing through you. You hardly ever saw him without his blindfold, his stare sending shivers down your spine. "Shoko was quite adamant it's all my fault, So I thought I better -"
You laughed, "Shoko was also quite adamant that all this time you just cared about me, so I guess even smart people can be wrong sometimes." He puzzled over your answer. "But I do." His hand brushes through his hair, just for it to fall over his eyes again. "Funny," you snarl, he studies your expression silently. You've taken advantage of that silence to continue, "So all these years you were just protecting me from dying? I thought sorcerers had accepted that fate when walking in here." "Some things are worse than death," A solemn look takes hold of his face, you could have sworn the color of his eyes darkened.
"Are you not happy?" he questions you again, you wiggle your arm as a sign of pain, even as he lets it go you still feel the marks that his fingers left there.
"Good." Your smile had reminded him to breathe. "Now," you mused, "Would you mind kissing me like you're angry again?" His laughter lifted the tension from your body,
"Oh - Dirty," The familiar smirk had settled down the final waves of emotion.
-
"Not a word, Shoko." you pleaded to her again. "If you don't want the school talking about it, then don't have your arguments in the hall." She took a long drag from her smoke, "Would you mind kissing me like you're angry again?" She imitates you silently, chuckling under her breath. "Shoko, I'm begging you!"

I've been seeing in influx of people saying this shit again, so… rant time!
Jacob wasn't attracted to the egg inside of Bella and, subsequently shouldn't have also been attracted to Edward's glittery swimmers.
Reasoning?
How about because Smeyer herself has denied that claim, first and foremost.
But let's say she didn't:
The imprinting happens between the shifter and a person… An egg isn't a person. A sperm isn't a person. A zygote isn't a person. An embryo isn't a person. And, finally, a fetus isn't a person. Only the fully developed baby is a person. Therefore, nothing happening in Bella's womb or ovaries (and certainly not in Edward's ballsack) has anything to with Jacob liking Bella.
Jacob was in love with Bella way before he even shifted, too.
Take it up with biology.
Next order of buisness:
JACOB NEVER WANTED TO BE TIED TO THE DEMON CHILD!!
His direct line of thinking was, "I'm gonna kill that freaky thing because it killed the woman I love -> oh shit, my entire being is being stripped away, and my own feelings and thoughts are being rewritten against my own wishes -> God damn it, now i can't even force myself to hold onto my hatred for this thing because I just became its emotional (and physical) slave." He lost his free will in that moment, unable to control his own thoughts and feelings. Here's an excerpt:
"The murderer stared past Rosalie's shoulder at me, its gaze more focused than any newborn creature's gaze should be.
Warm brown eyes, the color of milk chocolate the exact same color that Bella's had been.
My shaking jerked to a stop; heat flooded through me, stronger than before, but it was a new kind of heat-not a burning.
It was a glowing.
Everything inside me came undone as I stared at the tiny porcelain face of the half-vampire, half-human baby. All the lines that held me to my life were sliced apart in swift cuts, like clipping the strings to a bunch of balloons. Everything that made me who I was - my love for the dead girl upstairs, my love for my father, my loyalty to my new pack, the love for my other brothers, my hatred for my enemies, my home, my name, my self - disconnected from me in that second -snip, snip, snip- and floated up into space." -Breaking Dawn, Chapter 18, page 306-307.
'Everything that made me who I was disconnected from me in that second and floated up into space.'
That is not something Jacob ever wanted. In fact, throughout the series, he doesn't hide that he hates the idea of imprinting... he lost his free will when he was forced to join the pack when he shifted (bc out of all the places in the world, the Cullens had to set up shop right where they knew their presence would cause a problem), so what makes you guys think that him hating his autonomy being compromised would suddenly go away when he was made to imprint on the thing that killed his childhood friend and love?
Even the official guide talks about how imprinting is completely out of the wolves' control.
"If the werewolf does imprint, he is forever changed. From the second he sees the object of his imprinting, he will do anything to please and protect her. All other commitments in his life become secondary, even his commitment to the pack." -The Twilight Saga The Official Illustrated Guide, page 310.
Also from the guide: "Once a werewolf transforms, his aging speeds up until he reaches the age of maturity, roughly twenty-five. At this point, as long as he continues to phase, he remains at that age. It's possible that a werewolf could choose to live this way forever and enjoy the same limited immortality as a vampire, but most Quileute werewolves give up phasing in order to grow old and die alongside their family and friends. Once a werewolf gives up phasing altogether, he slowly begins to age again until his aging reaches the normal human speed." -page 308
The wolves never age so long as they keep shifting... Renanameme is already clingy and possessive of Jacob. She's never going to let him stop phasing because she's going to want him around forever. So now, not only is he stuck with the creature that killed (yes, 'killed,' because vampires are dead) his love, but he is stuck living amongst the very creatures he was created to fight and kill. Forced to inhale their sickly sweet "almost rotten" scent for eternity as his baser instincts scream at him to eliminate them the way he was born to.
One last thing: Jacob never asked Edward if he should call him "Dad". That was a change they made for the movie. Originally, there was never a line even *close* to that in the books...
Okay... I could keep going, but I'm not sure anyone even read this far, so: rant over...
I'm just so sick of the Jacob slander coming from people who have either never fucking read the books or read them so long ago that they don't remember the integral parts of the thoughts and feelings of these characters.
Jacob is the victim here, not the perpetrator.

you finally learn the truth behind that night.

“Umm, what are you wearing?” Aki lowered the bottles in her hand.
You cluelessly peered down at the clothes she’d literally seen you wearing earlier in the office. It took a while for your mind to construct the meaning of her slight chastise. Slacks and a button down was certainly not the appropriate attire for the occasion.
“Right! Shit…” You sprang into action, letting her in.
She made herself comfortable in your loft, beelining to the kitchen while you got prepared to join her in the long overdue ritual.
Some time had passed since the launch party at Nike. You’d been so busy with chasing up the next project on the agenda that your tradition had sadly slipped through the cracks. Luckily, your best friend was there to always remind you of the important stuff.
After sprinting through a shower, you slipped into a silk romper and joined her out in the living room. Her ability to whip up a master charcuterie board was out of this world. When did you even buy honey and feta?
“Early 2000s or something new?” Aki pondered as she scrolled through streaming options.
“I’m feeling modern tonight.” You replied around a cheese topped cracker.
She agreed, filtering for options within the last year. While the opening credits ran, you emptied the first bottle of wine she brought between your two glasses. That earned you a look of surprise to which you responded with a cheeky one of your own.
While you were on the more conservative side of alcohol consumption these days, you liked to let loose every now and then. What was the use of working so hard if you didn't blow off steam by getting a bit tipsy with your favorite girl?
Halfway through your glass, you started to wonder whether or not you’d made a mistake. Not on the wine, that was top tier, but the era of movie you chose. Film companies just didn’t put their soul into producing quality rom-coms like they used to.
You chugged the remainder of your Bordeaux and went in for seconds. Maybe fast tracking the intoxication would make this dry ass movie more palatable. Aki followed suit, hissing dramatically at the burn of her massive mouthful going down.
About five, or fifteen minutes passed - you honestly didn’t know now given your warped senses - before you turned to her with a grimace. She was already looking at you with an expression that made you burst into laughter.
“This movie fuckin’ sucks.” You gasped.
“I know!” Aki struggled to breathe. “I’m so sorry for picking it!”
Instead of torturing yourselves with the remainder of it, you decided to place a bet on what the ending would be. It was obvious that they’d end up together given the tone of the movie so far, but how they would get there was up for debate.
Ultimately, one Wikipedia page scan later, her guess was closer to being correct than yours.
“Okay…how about we do a drunk capsule now?” Aki dared you with her eyes.
It was an offer you couldn’t refuse, especially due to your current state. In these traditional events, nothing was off limits and everything was confined to the safety of the moment. To put it plainly, whatever either of you said couldn’t be held against you once you’d sobered up.
“Go on, I know you’ve been waiting for this forever.” You rolled your eyes playfully.
She clapped giddily, shuffling until her knees touched yours.
“Starting off a bit strong, but,” Her bottom lip reduced between her teeth. “Why haven’t you dated anyone since. You know.”
You blew a raspberry. “I-I have been on dates.”
“How many in the last year? Or two?” Aki hiccuped. “Come on, you’re still young and sexy! You should be getting pounded religiously!"
“Ew!” You slapped her leg. “Things have been really hectic with the company, you know that. I’ve barely had time to have a proper chat with my mom much less date a guy.”
That was the God’s honest truth. It was arguably a bigger task than you realistically could’ve handled, deciding to open a new branch of Bana.
The risk had to be taken, though. If you sat there trying to rationalize it through figures and statistics, you never would’ve committed to this next step that already was paying its weight in gold.
You also really needed to carve out time to call back home for more than just a quick hello.
Aki was the only other person who knew just how time consuming all of this was, so she accepted your response - albeit with an emphasized pout.
“We spoke,” She ran a finger along the rim of her wineglass. “Ruben and I.”
Your head reared back as you screwed your eyes shut. That information wasn’t too surprising considering that when you left, they both remained at the party. Still, it hit you with rather powerful force.
Trying to picture that conversation pulled your mind in several directions. Aki was a different person than you in many ways, her methods of communicating being one of them. She was far more straightforward than you were and was never the type to do a long song or dance before getting to the point.
The situation she had with him was rather complicated, though. She was collateral damage in his severance from you. His parting message to her was just as curt and painful as the one he’d sent you - with an added layer of which you now realized was the audacity he always had.
We can’t be friends anymore. Take care of her.
Going through something like that could create deviations in anyone’s behavior. You wouldn’t hold it against her if she found herself too flustered to articulate herself properly. Especially if he’d displayed the same attitude to her that was directed towards you.
“How are you holding up?” It was embarrassing to admit that this was the first time you’d really checked in with her regarding the entire situation.
She sighed deeply and then nodded. “I’m okay, said what I needed to.”
o passado
aki
Her eyes had been on you since that giant blond man had made his way over.
Not exactly the type she’d seen you fawn over, but there was a first time for everything, right? Besides, it didn’t hurt that he was clearly acquainted with Ruben - whose gaze was glued to you and the guy like his life depended on it. Maybe it would hit him where it hurts.
She prayed it did.
“And that was basically how I figured out I was a genius!” The long winded man she was conversing with finally wrapped up his story - full cackle to boot.
“That’s amazing!” Aki matched his energy, going as far as to throw her head back for good measure.
“Was that your CEO you were sitting with - the one in the white?” His tone immediately had her eyes narrowing.
Your dress was cream, but he was a man so she’d let it slide.
While his appearance was more towards your usual taste, there was no way she’d let him near you. Not with his clearly inflated sense of importance and clear habit of never letting anyone else speak for more than ten seconds without interruption.
“Yep, that’s her.” Aki nodded proudly. It was always nice to tell people that her best friend ran a company.
“Is she single? I’m sorry that might be a bit forward, but I’m sure you’ve noticed how stunning she is.” He chuckled awkwardly.
“She…is.” The smart retort part of her brain clicked off when her gaze drifted to find you talking to Ruben.
Whatever thirsty homeboy was droning on about fell yet again on deaf ears as she watched your interaction with shallow breaths. It was the first time she’d seen him in years, stirring up strange emotions to say the least.
When he’d messaged her that night, her heart broke and sank all the way to her toes. Only a fraction of a moment passed as she tried to rationalize why she’d so suddenly lost the person who was like the brother she always wanted. Her mind almost immediately went to you.
Take care of her.
Fuck, those words still filled her with rage to this day. He knew just how deeply you were in love with him and he didn’t even have the decency to say that shit to your face, or give you a reason. He knew how badly it would break you. Yet, he did it anyway.
Aki would never forget the way every bone in your body shook as she held you. She’d never get over how the heartache ate you from the inside out, watching you turn into a hollow shell of the vibrant girl you used to be.
But more importantly, she wouldn’t ever forget watching you pick yourself back up. Piece by piece, you took shape. Watching you find and love yourself after what he put you through was the proudest she felt in your friendship.
And here he was again.
She thought she’d seen a ghost when you showed up soaking wet and in tears on her doorstep a few weeks ago. It wasn’t a question in her mind as to why you were that torn up suddenly because there was only ever one person that could do that to you.
What did Ruben want? So much time had passed, did he think that was an excuse of some sort to suddenly start popping up like a whack-a-mole? She would’t stand by idly and let him create chaos the way he once did.
Aki watched him as he watched you making your way to the exit, his expression forlorn. It twisted her insides like they were filed with bile instead of bubbly. She excused herself from Mr. Know It All and shot straight to her target.
“Ruben.”
He spun around, eyes widening. “Aki…”
“Look, I’m not interested in the past and I’m definitely not here for any kind of apology.” She breathed. “I just wanna know what you’re doing, Ruben?”
His brows pushed together, “I was just having a conversation, Akenna.”
“Don’t do that.” Her jaw ticked.
He didn’t have the right to say her full name like he used to in jest anymore. They weren’t good friends, they weren’t anything to one another as things stood - all by his doing.
“And don’t play dumb.” Aki scoffed, anger rising by the second. “You weren’t there to see the fall out. No, you were living it up as the nation’s new hot shot and embracing all that came with it. You fucking,” She pressed her nails into her palm to steady herself. “You devastated her.”
Ruben flinched. Her words and the severity of it all finally seeming to click into place. She could see the thoughts swimming around his mind, imagining probably the worse case scenario that she bet wouldn’t even scratch the surface of reality. The air around the two hung heavy, as still as a day with no wind to sway the trees.
“I’m not trying to hurt Y/N, or you, again.” He eventually whispered.
That was rich, was she just supposed to take his word for it? Aki sized him up with scrutiny, wondering what position he thought he would get into with you both to repeat such a thing. Yet despite all her glaring, she still couldn't grasp his intentions.
Maybe deep down, she didn't want to.
In any case, by the looks of him, life had appeared to go unjustly in his favor despite his misdeeds. While that was an annoying observation, she chose to cling to the other side of it. She decided to celebrate that you were infinite miles away from the version of yourself he’d last seen.
A new form of yourself that she'd silently vowed to protect at all costs.
“Then whatever you trying to do, stop.” Aki warned. “She’s in a good place now, don’t ruin that.”
o presente
you
Whatever she was able to get off her chest seemed to provide her with relief.
That left you grinning. Heartbroken or not, Aki stuck to her guns. It made you promise silently to yourself that you’d adopt her stance. If you ever crossed paths with him again, though you should say when since it seemed all but inevitable in this city, you’d lay it all out on the table.
“So…have you tried Hinge?” Aki smiled sheepishly.
You exclaimed and pounced on her, smacking her with a sofa cushion as the light-hearted mood returned. She was surprisingly agile for someone so tipsy, narrowly dodging most of your blows with full bellied laughs.
I’m just doing your mom’s bidding - ah, watch the face!
The small brawl ended just as quickly as it started. Your tolerance was far below what it used to be, lethargy taking over your limbs. With a huff, you flopped onto the carpet. Aki raised your head to tuck a pillow beneath it before assuming a cozy position of her own.
“We’re gonna regret drinking this much tomorrow aren’t we?” You groaned, a hand running over your tummy.
“Nothing a good, hot cup of coffee can’t fix.” She yawned.
Well, that wasn’t entirely true.
Even after shaking the last of a double shot into your mouth, you were laced with regret. As much as you adored celebrating last night, you currently wished you could’ve slept it off a bit longer.
However, duty called. You had two meetings to knock out and needed to get through a morning brief about both of them.
“Wow, you guys look…” Cindy tried and failed to hide her shock.
“Don’t worry,” Aki pushed her sunglasses up to her hair. “I brought the emergency makeup kit.”
“Let’s just get through this quickly.” You grimaced, clutching at your blouse.
As Cindy walked you guys through all the research she compiled, you chugged down a liter of water to bring your insides back to life. On top of regretting taking wine to the head, you felt guilty about letting a bit loose while she was probably busy working.
Another mental note: give her additional vacation days.
Erling’s online presence was pretty standard for a public figure and athlete. His social media was tightly managed as well. That was obviously smart on his part, enough people in similar standing had sometimes irredeemable flubs by not thinking before posting.
The water was kicking in, leaving your mind devising the skeleton of a pitch. It might’ve been jumping the gun a bit since you still didn’t know their hopes for partnering with Bana.
You always liked to be prepared for anything though, especially when it came to working with busy clients like him. Quick thinking could easily be the difference between success and failure.
“Uh, guys.” Cindy tapped her phone. “You’re gonna need to get started on using that kit - Erling’s assistant just asked if you could meet him for lunch instead.”
Aki yelped, immediately rifling through her bag. You high sprinted to the bathroom to empty your bladder before rejoining the room. After a quick touch up to make you resemble the human species again, you gathered everything you needed.
Since the meeting had been moved up, it would clash with a virtual call you had with another potential client. Cindy volunteered to stay behind to cover given that she was the only one other than yourself with extensive marketing knowledge.
“Where are we headed for this lunch?” You slung your tote over your shoulder.
“City training grounds.” Cindy pulled a face. “Not the most glamorous, but I guess he’s staying on brand?”
Your mind immediately went there. Of course it did, it wouldn’t be normal if he didn’t make an appearance in your thoughts when hearing the location. What you were grateful for, though, was that there was no sinking feeling. No ache in your chest or pit in your stomach, just neutrality.
Aki looped her arm around your free one and tapped your bicep. “Let’s catch this fish.”
“Good luck!” Cindy waved as you exited.
Uncharacteristically, you were the one that had to be forcefully awoken and shoved into the shower this morning. That meant Aki drove you both to work, so you hopped into her passenger seat once more as she fired up the engine.
“What do they even eat there?” She pulled up the address on maps. “Baked chicken and sweet potatoes?”
You snorted loudly. “I don’t think they have a whole team of chefs just to make Instagram fitness bro meal preps.”
Aki made a noise of agreement and then got to daydreaming aloud about their potential offerings. Her imagination had your stomach growling. You hadn’t been able to even sniff the muffins in the cafe earlier without turning green in the face, but you were finally entering the phase of your belly signaling for sustenance.
Her phone rang with an unsaved number on her dashboard. You pulled a face at her suggesting that it could be one of the suitors she’d been seeing under the guise of getting to know the new city. She bit at you like a puppy before answering.
“Hi Akenna, this is Meredith from Dr. Johnson’s office. We’re just confirming your visit today at twelve thirty.” The voice sounded out.
Aki’s mouth dropped open as she looked over to you. “H-hi Meredith! I…”
You didn’t know she had a doctor’s visit scheduled and by the looks of it, she didn’t recall either. That was one hundred percent okay with you. Obviously, her health came before anything else. Your head nodded incessantly, urging her to confirm.
“I will be there.” The words sounded as if she’d dragged them from the bottom of a deep well.
“Cheers! We’ll see you soon.” Meredith disconnected the call.
“Is everything okay?” That was your main concern at the moment.
She groaned. “Yeah, it’s just time for a routine check up with the pussypractor.”
You let out a laugh. Being happy at her using that word to describe her gynecologist was far from your normal reaction, but you welcomed it in place of the fear you’d felt for a minute.
“I’m glad you’re taking care of your magic conch.” You relaxed back into your seat.
“Are you gonna be okay? I feel bad leaving you there all alone.” Aki pouted.
“I’ll be fine.” You shot her a grin. “I’m just going to complete the mission and get back ASAP.”
Whether or not she was convinced remained a mystery. That question was a double edged sword, but so was your answer. You weren’t going there with any intention beside getting your job done.
And feeding the beast in your belly.
Thankfully, the grounds weren’t too far away and traffic wasn’t as horrendous as usual. She turned her car into the security checkpoint that went by without a hitch since they’d been notified of your arrival beforehand.
“This is…weird.” Aki peered around after parking out front.
It was like deja vu. Seeing the turf, hearing the sprinklers in the distance - your senses were all lit up and connecting the dots to your past experiences in a similar environment.
“Yeah.” You refocused on the task at hand, opening the car door. “I’ll see you at home. Want me to bring over an ice pack?”
“I’ll probably already have beat you to it, smart ass.” Aki shook her head. “Text me when you’re back.”
The lady at the front greeted you brightly and let you know that Erling’s assistant would be out shortly. In the meantime, you busied yourselves with taking a look at the large pictures lining the walls. Where City clearly had the money, they also had the success. Image after image were filled with bright smiles, medals and trophies.
“Y/N, it’s so nice to finally meet you.” A young brunette woman appeared into your impromptu gallery viewing.
“Likewise.” You shook hands, extending a smile.
“Please, this way.” She directed you to follow her down a hallway.
Animated voices became louder the further you walked and the smell of rich flavors filled your nose. Whatever was being cooked was so far from barely seasoned cutlets and bland potatoes. Your stride hitched at the sound of one particularly loud laugh.
Right. It must be lunch break for the entire squad.
Just as your ears started to ring, unwanted sensations deciding to make their return, she pivoted off to the left to deviate your path from the cafeteria. You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding just as your eyes looked back to catch Ruben’s - wide and confused, watching you disappear around the bend.
Coming somewhat prepared worked well in your favor.
Erling had a rough idea of what he wanted to do, but first asked your opinion about the direction you would suggest. Given the current era socially and culturally, coupled with the timeline of his playing career being almost predefined, you focused on building a diverse brand that spoke to longevity.
Football itself was such a vast world with many paths. You constructed a plan in front of him that held his passion at the center surrounded by interest that could tie back into it. If he wanted to expand his humanitarian efforts, a foundation was always the best bet - donating to boys and girls sporting programs, hosting summer camps, auctioning iconic jerseys for a cause.
Partnerships were the biggest way to expand image wise. Of course, there were the well known luxury brands that would die to have him as their ambassadors. If he wanted to hone in on a relatable image, he could partner with more affordable brands for an athletic line.
You wanted to show him that there was a world of possibility that was easily within his reach. All he had to do essentially was point the team at Bana in the direction he wanted to do and you would get it done.
Erling was extremely pleased with what you pitched to him. His assistant took notes for him to go over later in order to single out where he wanted to start, and get back to you guys with contract details. You were left buzzing with pride and very full with the most delicious chicken salad you ever had.
“I’m excited to see where this partnership takes us.” He beamed as he walked you back to the entrance.
“We intend to take you as far as you want to go.” You promised.
Him and his assistant headed out to his next appointment after you said your goodbyes. There wasn’t anything else on the agenda for the day now with both that meeting and the virtual one at the office being done.
You figured you might as well head home to check on Aki. Also, turning in early for a good night’s rest would be the best thing you could do for your body.
You requested a ride back to your place and hoped the wait would be less than 10 minutes. The confirmation came back to show that the driver was just under that, which nearly made you roll your eyes. Instead, you decided to be grateful and message Cindy to see how her call went.
“Are you going to wait eight minutes for Jeremy to pick you up?”
Your head craned to spot Ruben peering at your phone over your shoulder. Though there was nothing to hide, as well as him already seeing what was on your screen, you tucked the device into your chest and spun around.
“Obviously.” You cleared your throat.
“Why would you do that?” His gaze was scrutinizing.
“It’s what one does when they left their car at home and require a lift.” The hand holding your phone tilted it back slightly - six minutes.
“Come with me.” Ruben boldly suggested.
The laugh that left you was incredulous, there was that fucking audacity again. Under what circumstance would you get into his car with him?
You were actually starting to wonder, seriously, without any offense, whether or not he was entirely there mentally. It was like he had no recollection of what he’d done to you.
Or worse, that he didn’t care.
“No.” Your eyes turned downwards again - four minutes.
“Let me take you home.” He reached out to take hold of your wrist.
There was a slight tremble to your mouth that you were quick to shut down by pinning your lips together. Those words shoved your mind through a wormhole back to all those warm nights in Amadora. Your backpack slung over his shoulder, his fingers laced through yours. Both of your laughs bouncing off concrete structure lined streets.
“Absolutely not.” You spoke weakly.
A step too late, you registered his movement. Your small lunge was futile against his giant step back after he’d snatched the phone away from your unsuspecting grip. Getting onto your tippy toes was even more useless against his extended arm as he canceled your ride.
“Please, I owe you that.” Ruben handed it back to you. “And everything else you need to hear from me.”
Freedom of choice in this situation was an illusion. The opportunity to gain all the clarity you sought, all the answers to the questions that haunted you for years, landed in your lap without any effort on your end. Did the option of rebooking a ride share move the needle away from you wanting to know everything?
Not even an inch.
“Okay.” You conceded, motioning for him to lead the way.
Ruben walked you over to his jeep and opened the passenger door for you before you could even try. The gesture that once made you feel giddy did little to stir anything in you today. You fastened your seatbelt and placed your tote on your lap as he got in.
“Now would be a good time to,” He pointed at his console.
“Right…” You pulled up his gps to enter your address.
“Before you think something weird, just a warning that I’m leaving from the service exit.” His car spun in the opposite direction that you entered in. “Things get a bit crazy in the front with the fans and all.”
Wow, what a hero. You didn’t know whether or not to thank him for at least respecting your right to privacy, so you stayed silent and offered a nod.
The first few minutes of the ride stayed much like that - quiet. You wished he hadn’t turned off the music immediately as the car started. Whatever he listened to these days would’ve been miles better than the sound of his smooth engine running and the hissing of his tires on the lightly misted road.
“I’m sorry about the other night.” Ruben spoke alas. “It wasn’t my place to step in with a stupid suggestion like that.”
“No, it wasn’t.” At least you both agreed on that much.
He chuckled at your swift concur. “Everything went well with Erling then, I suppose.”
“You’re on a roll, Dias.” You said drily. “Two for two.”
His Adam’s apple bobbed, catching your attention from the corner of your eye. It was becoming apparent to him that this interaction wasn’t going to happen the way he imagined - whatever that may have been.
Did he expect you to be the same doe eyed girl you were seven years ago? Even without your shared history, that would’ve been an extremely naive ideal.
“Y/N…” Ruben tapped his steering wheel. “About that night…”
You dared to look at him for the first time during the ride. All over his face was the war he was fighting in his mind. As stupid and misplaced as it was, you actually felt a bit sorry for him. He had been a source of pain for you for so long, yet you still couldn’t stand to see him experiencing discomfort.
“Was it something I did, something I said?” Your biggest insecurity fell out uncontrollably. “Was it me?”
“No.” He interjected swiftly, almost angrily.
“What made you do it?” The question being posed directly to him after all this time didn’t offer you what you’d hoped.
You thought that if you had ever came to this moment, you would be on some sort of emotional pedestal. So far out of reach and so beyond what had transpired that no response he gave would have a great impact.
In actuality, it was completely the opposite. You didn’t feel elevated or safe out of reach from any negative outcome. Sitting beside him, getting swallowed up by his big leather seats, you felt small and vulnerable.
You were afraid.
“When I sent that message - those messages - it didn’t even feel like it was me.” Ruben appeared to be focused on the road ahead, but his eyes were distant. “I never felt like I truly deserved you. Sometimes when I looked at you, that feeling was overwhelming. I saw how much I meant to you, knew you’d do anything for me, maybe even give up everything for me…and I can admit it now that in those moments I was right about myself.”
He was really on a hot streak here. Three for three because you also felt like it wasn’t him speaking to you that night, or shutting off the lights on you. Four for four, actually. You would’ve done anything for him and yes, even given up everything if it meant you got to be with him.
The last part confused you though.
“Right about what?” You sought out comprehension.
“I didn’t deserve you.” Ruben provided it. “Because anyone who did wouldn’t have felt pressured by that. They would’ve stepped up even more and lived up to be the kind of person who was worthy of that kind of love. Instead, I was the type who was convinced that it was too much and ran away from it. I selfishly cut my emotions off and did what I did, not even considering the outcome.”
The fear you had was replaced with disappointment. You truthfully didn’t know what you expected his explanation to be. Maybe it wouldn’t have felt like this if he had said he started having feelings for someone else, or any other partially plausible explanation.
You guessed this was just as rational as all others in his mind, but you just couldn’t wrap your head around it. The guy you knew never showed any signs of wavering in confidence or expressed the slightest doubt that he was deserving to be deeply loved.
A part of you understood that everyone all wore masks, especially around the people they wanted to appear to be strong for. But he never had to do that with you. At least, you thought he knew that he didn’t have to pretend to be anything when he was with you.
“Ruben…” Your gripped tightened around your tote straps.
What could you even say at this point? The one expectation you did have that was met when you got into this car was that you’d received an explanation. It was just difficult to come to terms with the fact that all of your whys boiled down to something so simple yet complex.
Insecurity was an easy emotion to name, but far from that to dissect. And it certainly made people do often very shameful and hurtful things. Still, knowing all of that did nothing to ease the ache you felt watching him bite the inside of his cheek.
The drive suddenly didn’t feel so long as you realized he was pulling up to your building’s entrance. He put the car in park and reached to leave to get your door, but your hand quickly shot out to touch his arm.
“I’ve got it.” You slowly let it fall to unbuckle your seatbelt. “Thanks for the ride.”
Ruben left it until the very last second, calling your name as you were about to shut the door.
“I’m sorry for everything I put you through.” His shiny brown eyes held yours for as long as you could take before you finally sealed it shut.
You rushed inside, not daring to look back so that your tears could fall unnoticed. With rasps of breaths falling from your lips as you pressed your head against the back of the elevator, massaging the space over your heart, you found yourself asking a new question.
What would you do now, knowing that which you’ve longed to?

„No one”
paring: Yandere Gojo x reader
Wc: 2,3k
Tw: yandere, possessive behavior, knife injures, short smut
a/n: I promised and I did. I haven't written one shots for a long time 😅
"S-Satoru! Please calm down!" you screamed placing your hand on his forearm as he stood in your way. "How can I calm down when you want to leave?! You can't get away from me... You can't leave me! You will belong to me forever!" "You are scaring me..." You groaned as his eyes grew more and more ghostly. And then you felt a sharp pain in your stomach, along with warm liquid spilling over your clothes. "You can't get away from me."
"Satoru, I love you."
That's all he wanted to hear from beginning to the end.
From the moment he met you until you've been together for eternity. Until the end of the world.
For you, he wanted to overcome death. So that you can always be together.
To be his all the time.
So that no one can take you.
And the longer you were in such a relationship with him, the longer he was attached to you. The more he had to have you longer. He had to know more and more that no one else would have you. No one. Nobody other than him.
So why does it have to be complicated?
He wanted you for him. His love for your love. That's why.
Since you're his girlfriend, you're totally his. No chance of breaking up with him. With each passing day you show him love, the more he knows he can never let you go.
The first month of the relationship was normal. Like an ordinary couple. You didn't know the limits of your relationship yet. It was really good.
Fourth Month of Relationship: You were almost inseparable. Or so it seemed to others. Often together, where one goes, there goes the other. You did a lot of things together. There was true love between you.
One year relationship: Everyone knew it was true love. You liked each other. Your life was not the same without the other. You loved each other, and you showed it to each other.
Three years of relationship: No one had any doubts that you were in love with each other. Always together. You were so sweet. You spend time together. You are jealous but you still trust each other very much. Neither of you is cheating on the other and you don't even think about it. You're together because you want it. Nobody is forcing you to love someone. You do it because you want it. No one tells you how to feel. People say that your hearts beat in one rhythm. Like a symphony. That no one can stop you. That no one can destroy your love. Your friends thought you were perfect for each other. Not only in character, but also in bodies. You liked each other. It didn't matter what you looked like. The other liked it. It didn't matter if it was a defect in character or appearance. You were just as you were. You couldn't deny it. Every bad remark ended with you still being together anyway. Despite the fights that are in every relationship. You can't get bored after all this time. Nobody is boring. Because you two are perfect for each other. You will not deny it because it is true. You live very well together.
Therefore, neither of you can die.
And you will never be apart.
Five years of relationship: you are very happy with each other. And nobody thinks that you are bored with yourself. You behave and just like at the first meeting. But no more shame. Without Borders. Saying right away that you love each other. Jealousy and fear of loss. Perhaps it appeared.
You weren't afraid of losing him because you had no intention of leaving him.
You were always meant to be together, and no one can separate you.
This reasoning was true.
Your relationship would be perfect and normal, practically beautiful, if it wasn't for Satoru's behavior.
Over time, his jealousy just started to grow.
You couldn't go anywhere without him.
And then it got to the point where you couldn't smile at anyone but him anymore. Because "your smile belongs to him."
He told you to love only him - you love only him.
He told you to give yourself completely to him - you gave yourself to him.
He told you to smile only at him - you smile.
He told you to spend time only with him - you started to be at home, only with him. Not going out with friends.
He told you not to worry about anything - you don't worry.
He told you to think positive - You think positive.
You tried to think the same way when your relationship stopped being so nice.
Satoru loved you so much. He kept telling you that he loves you.
But he started controlling you more and more. He was jealous. He forbade you a lot of things, allowed you to spend time only with him. There was no "other" anymore. For you, there was only him.
You've been arguing for a while. It's happened to you sometimes. And it hurt. The thought of it was unbearable. You don't want your relationship to end like this.
Living together for so long. You know each other. You've been in a relationship for a long time. Much longer than you expected.
It is not boring. It's nice. Or at least it was.
It's not boring, but you start to get more and more scared.
Especially when you see how every time he goes into the bathroom or bedroom while you're inside, he locks the door.
You didn't fight then, but you often saw your boyfriend insane.
He was smiling terribly. He spoke in a serious yet amused voice. And that was something that scared you.
You cried more and more while you were locked in the house.
Even though he hated it so much when you cried. It was something he hated the most.
If he had to pick another thing he hates...
...it would be the people who distract you from him. People, who make you smile at them.
And you must smile at him. Love only him.
No one else.
"Ow! Please don't bite me..." you groaned, looking at the white hair growing from the head that is set between your legs.
You felt the inside of your thigh tingle from his hands and mouth.
And even with that pain, your core gleams with moisture, drawing his attention.
When your fights started, you don't know why, but he began to eat you more and more often. It doesn't matter where and when. In the middle of the day or night. It made no difference or hindrance to him.
For you too.
Even though you're not the kind of person who will forgive everyone immediately after someone has sex with you. You are not a shallow person who forgives for the pleasures someone gives you.
You weren't just looking for pleasure from him.
He liked it too. He always said eating you was the quickest way to prepare you for him.
You were often embarrassed when he told you that you get wet very quickly.
Besides, he loved to show his superiority. His ability to know your body is incredible. He loves doing it because later he can watch your thighs shake. How you can't walk. And also, he can stare at your flushed face while he works wonders with his tongue between your folds.
With this pleasure comes the pain of having to leave marks on your skin every time.
On the whole body.
It's why you have to cover up in the summer, it makes you hot. It's a relief in the winter.
But what to do.
Since it's so nice...
"I want to mark you..." he muttered, looking at you like a child chastised by a parent.
"...But not so hard, please?" you asked gently.
When you started to tighten your thighs slightly, he spread them back with his strong hands, smiling.
"Don't hide that sweet pussy. You're begging me for more. You will come once, then twice. And then again and again. Until you say only my name. At last... No one else can have you like that. When you come, scream that you love only me~."
As he said that, he dug his tongue inside of you, yanking a choked sigh out of you.
He covered your clitoris with his mouth and started sucking, looking at your red face in a mess. Breasts rising with each breath.
A sight only he can see.
He thrust two fingers into you suddenly, forcing you to clench on him. Thighs caught his head, squeezing slightly. When he wouldn't stop moving his fingers and tongue.
You grabbed his white hair, tugging at the strands and making him purr pleasantly. Totally satisfied with this feeling.
"S-Satoru..." You groaned as you felt the overstimulation.
You needed at least a break.
He pulled away for a moment and said with a smile:
"I love you."
Before he went back to harassing your most sensitive spots.
"Satoru! Oh my goodness... I love you...!"
And so it was to be forever.
It was supposed to be that you would never say it to anyone else.
But he already had a chance to lose you.
He knew he was overreacting. He knew that he was already walking on a thin string of your peace.
This string broke.
"Satoru, I love you, but... I think we need a break from each other for a while. I'm sorry..." you cried saying it, but it wasn't the same as he felt.
He wasn't mad at you for wanting to leave. But on others.
After all, you can only be with him.
He made you spend the rest of your life with him and no one else...
You are with him, and you will not be with anyone else.
You want to make him happy. That's why you listen to him. So that he can be happy. You love him and you know he loves you.
You've seen how his moves get dangerous. When he stopped in front of you so you couldn't leave the house. You saw the dangerous, shiny metal in his hand.
"S-Satoru! Please calm down!" You screamed placing your hand on his forearm when he was in your way.
"How can I calm down if you want to leave?! You want get away from me... You can't leave me! You will belong to me forever! You are to love me! Only me."
"You are scaring me..." You groaned as his eyes became more and more ghostly.
And then you felt a sharp pain in your stomach, along with warm liquid spilling over your clothes.
Then your boyfriend's soothing words and whispers as he held your head gently, letting you rest your cheek against his chest.
"You can't get away from me."
He stroked your hair, feeling your body slowly soften and weaken.
"Sleep, darling... Sorry... But we must always be together... And when you wake up, it will still be like this... "
"Good evening. We're from the police. We got a report that (y/n) (l/n) hasn't been seen in three weeks. I have been ordered to search the house because you are suspected. In addition, neighbors complain about strange noises and screams coming from your house."
"...(y/n) left me..."
With a sad face, he looked at the policeman who was standing outside the door with the others.
He was sad. He was furious with his neighbors.
He couldn't stop people from entering the house. They checked every corner. They asked him about various things. But they found nothing.
Your disappearance is unexplained.
Gojo was furious with people who said it was because of him. Your friends did it.
You're not missing.
You're still with him. At home. And he can look at your face. Without end. No one else can do it.
Understanding the innocence of the white-haired man, the police left the house, driving away.
But he couldn't trust anyone else. First, he searched his house for something the police could use to check him.
He didn't need trouble. And he didn't want to be watched either.
It took him a while to check absolutely everything.
Then he went to the kitchen and took out some food. It was already supper time.
He looked like a normal man preparing his own meal.
A glass of water, finely chopped food. He took everything onto one tray before grabbing a clear plastic bag from inside the cabinet.
A man who could eat dinner... It couldn't be like this anymore.
Since there are wound remedies, gauze and bandages in the bag.
He went to the bedroom, and opened the door to a sliding wardrobe built into the wall. The wooden partition behind the hanging clothes had a nice smooth texture.
Until grab the little door handle and turn the key in the keyhole.
Then the wall opens, and you can enter a room that no one expected.
With a pleasant smile, he went ahead, not forgetting to close the door behind him.
He sat on the soft bed, placing food and water on the cabinet next to it.
He placed the bag next to him.
With strong hands, he grabbed the quilt wrapped around something.
"(y/n)~ wake up~" he sang.
He began to unwrap the covers from your body. You were warm in it. And you couldn't move much either. That way you couldn't hurt yourself.
"...Satoru..." You groaned weakly, looking up at him with dark circles under your eyes.
He adjusted you on the pillows before exposing your stomach.
You wanted to get up and hug him.
You have only his now .
No one else is with you but him.
You love him, even if this love will hurt.
And you can only regret trying to get away from him.
"Do not move. For several days such a wound will not disappear. It might open up and you'll start bleeding." He said, gently untying the bloody bandages.
If you hadn't wanted to leave, this wouldn't have happened...
You don't want him to leave here. You still love him, even though you're scared and a little angry. You still love him.
You don't want to be alone in this room again. Wish he was here more often. Until you have to be here.
You can't move even though it hurts so much.
"...It hurts so much... Satoru... So much, Satoru..." tears flowed from your eyes.
"I had to keep you with me somehow. Now you'll never leave here again. You will only be with me. No matter what. Baby, no one will have you but me."

When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let's spread the self-love 💞
Kei, my friend, thank you so much for the chance to rec some of my own fics 💜 This has been waiting in my inbox for forever but I have a very limited spoon supply right now 😅
Because I've got several of these lovely asks, I'll give you my favorite 5 sexy fics 😘
Louder (explicit | 2k) - my first steddie fic!
While laying in bed, the two of them can't help but overhear their upstairs neighbors going at it rather loudly. Eddie turns to Steve after a while, and asks, You wanna fuck louder than them to establish dominance?
we pass the ghosts that haunt us later (explicit | 3.8k) - very different from my usual stuff
warnings: ambiguous ending (there is a sequel with a happy ending though), cheating (Steve cheats with Eddie on a partner)
It's impossible to quit Eddie Munson. Not that Steve didn't try - he's always leaving. It's just that he's always coming back.
wear me like a locket around your throat (explicit | 4.5k) - possessive!Steve and Eddie in a collar
Written with my dear @yournowheregirl 💜
There's a long silence in which they both stare at each other, unsure of what to say. Or maybe they know exactly what to say next, what to do next, they're just not sure who's going to be the one to actually bring it up. Eddie is the first to break the silence, he always is. "You want me to put it on for you?" Steve feels his dick twitch at the question, the for you ringing in his ears at the same time the mine, mine, mine mantra comes back with a vengeance. "Please."
we tangle endlessly like lovers entwined (explicit | 3.4k) - sexual healing anyone?
It's not that either of them has to wine and dine the other, theirs is not that kind of relationship. But they’re still friends. Friends who like to fuck each other's brains out, but friends nonetheless. Still, they usually take their time. Heavy make out sessions, mouths and hands on each other's bodies. Eddie fingering Steve for so long that he was coming dry by the time Eddie finally fucks him, his hole so loose and sloppy with lube that Eddie's cock sinks in like a knife in warm butter. When it's quick and desperate, it’s usually trading messy hand- or blow jobs, both of them too impatient for any kind of foreplay. Just quick and dirty hookups in the video store break room or in the shower before they have to start their day. But today, Eddie needs it hard and fast. Today, Eddie needs Steve to fuck every thought out of his head until all he can think about is the ache in his body from being used, from being owned, from being ruined. He needs it to hurt. Today, Eddie needs to forget.
You know I'm a show off (I would let you get some) (explicit | 6.4k) - confident, cocky and kind of slutty Steve was so much fun to write
And so begins the longest ten minutes of Eddie Munson's life. He's standing there, the sun beating down on them, but he's sweating for a completely different reason as he watches Steve contort himself to reach every last inch of his precious BMW. His shorts are riding dangerously high, just barely revealing the curve of his round ass more than once. There are moles all over his skin, like constellations waiting to be explored by adventurous hands and lips. The hair on his legs looks soft, so light it's almost blonde, and Eddie wants to run his fingers over it, scratch the creamy white skin of his inner thighs and leave his mark on that perfect body.

Story Master List // Main Master List

Interesting new coming from the Mercedes camp. Ari Levinson has announced that Johnny Storm will be taking Mercedes’s second seat for the coming year. Storm will be replacing Cole Riggin who was injured in testing. Levinson also announced that Olivia Rogers will be staying on with the team. Her role has not been announced yet.
Storm is an interesting choice. He was with Ferrari for five years before unceremoniously let go by Ferrari two years ago. Storm didn't take any actions to find an alternative seat and was considered by most to be retired.
Only time will tell if this choice is the right one for Mercedes.
Johnny
There is something about being at a track that electrifies the senses. The sound of cars running, the smell of fuel and tire burn, the feel of the steering wheel pulling, the view of the crowd cheering, the taste of the champagne at the end.
I have missed this.
I’m standing in front of security to the paddock, taking it all in. Two years away and I feel like I was here just yesterday. I was carefree, racing with my best friend, famous, rich, girls throwing themselves at me. It was great.
Until it wasn’t.
I played with the ring on my thumb, a token that Molly had gotten me. She noticed that when I was anxious, I would play with my fingers. “You can’t do that, or you’ll hurt your million-dollar hands.” She slipped the ring on my thumb and showed me how it spun. I’ve worn it every day. It's my beacon when I’m lost in the dark.
I really feel like today is going to be one of those days.
“Storm!” I turned to see Ari walking towards me with a big smile. “Glad to see that you made it.” He shakes my hand. I wonder if he can tell that my hands are sweating. That the nerves are starting to show.
That I must do this without Molly.
I finally have the courage to walk through security and towards the team garage. A few people that I remembered from before gave me a wave or a nod. I passed the Ferrari garage, and I’m flooded with memories. Of the day I met my best friend, met people who became family. Of meeting the girl that would change my life forever.
I shook it off and headed to my new team, Mercedes. Ari had headed to a team principals meeting, so I walked in alone.
“You must be Johnny.” A British voice spoke behind me. “George Russell, your fellow driver.” He stuck out his hand for a shake.
“It's nice to meet you, George.” I shook his hand. “This is different from the last time I was out here.”
“I can imagine. Ari asked me to show you around until he gets back.” He moved towards the back. “Your room is back here. I believe Maya left some team merchandise for you.”
“Who’s Maya?”
“Oh, she’s the team public relations director. She travels with us, but she had an emergency back home, so she won’t be here until Sunday. You’ll like her, tough but nice.”
He continued with the tour after I dropped my bag. In the middle my phone chimed.
Susie: I’m sorry we are taking so long but we had to take a bath Johnny: What happened? Susie: Applesauce
I chuckled and put my phone away and looked up at George. “Sorry.”
“It’s fine. Girlfriend?”
I laughed and shook my head. “No, My sister. She’s going to be my personal assistant but she’s running late.”
“Brilliant. Someone you know and who will kick your arse when you’re not in line.”
“Exactly.” He started chatting by hospitality. It was relatively quiet since it was Thursday and there were no scheduled events. Grabbing a water, I played with the bottle in my hands when Ari joined us. “Hey boss.”
Ari chuckled. “Glad to know you know who’s the boss. Let’s chat.” He walked me to his office and directed me to sit. “How does it feel to be back?”
“Honestly, weird. It's like I know where everything is and nothing at the same time. George was great though.”
“Yeah, he’s in his third year with us. When Charles declined our offer, he was in Formula 2 and has shined. But he needs a good veteran to guide him. Liv has been great but since she won’t be in the trenches, you are the best choice.”
I’m not sure how I feel about that, being a mentor of sorts. I still have championship aspirations. But on the flip side, I don’t have any other options. “I understand,” I tell him,
“Look, if you have a chance to win, we aren’t going to stop that. Who knows, you could be the breakout star, and roles have to be reversed.” He shrugs. “Whatever happens, come what may. With that said, I do have a couple of expectations from you.” I nod and he continues. “You come to work hungover, you’re fired. I know your reputation Johnny, so this is not negotiable. Second, you listen to team orders. Third, if I notice that you are being reckless, I’ll pull the car. Fuck the points. My drivers drive smart and safe.”
I nod at everything. I’m sure that he will realize that I am not the same Johnny from two years ago. “Anything else, sir?”
“No, we have test time today for you. FIA cleared it and it will also renew your super license. Do you have any questions?”
“Just, about my sister...”
“Right, right.” He sighed. “I guess the whole partying part of my speech was useless.”
“Pretty much.”
He laughed. “Ok, well I sent the passes to your hotel. She’s cleared for everywhere and will have personal security escort you and her if you are away from hospitality or the garage, as discussed.”
“Thank you, Ari.”
“No problem.” He stands up and I follow. “I’ll let you get stretched and ready for testing.”
“Thank you.” I start to walk away when I hear, “before I forget, my sister works for the team. Needless to say, she is off limits. Understand?”
“Yes, sir.”
Sister. That was news to me. Then again, Levinson was notorious for keeping his private life private. He may be a four-time world champion but the most I knew about him was that he divorced his wife before he had retired. And the only reason I knew that is because the tabloids would not let it go after she made a big stink about abandonment on his part. She was a trip. But a sister, I had no clue. How hard could it be to just treat this chick as one of the guys?
I started to walk back to the trailers where my driver’s room was. My sister sent me a photo and I smiled. “Nudes?” I turned to see my best friend, Charles.
“Kind of.” I showed him the photo and he laughed. He pulled me into a hug. “It's good to see you, man. How does it feel to be back?”
“Surreal. Everything is just a little bit different. Like not wearing red,” plucking at Charles’s polo.
“Now you’re in black,” Charles thew back, pointing at my Mercedes polo. “But seriously, it’s weird having you here. I’m the king here now and...”
I snorted, “You wish, LeClerc. Let’s be honest, if anyone is ruling this part of our world, its Liv.”
“Damn straight,” a voice behind me says. I smile and turn to face Olivia Williams-Rogers with her hands on her hip and a smirk on her lips. “As your current world champion, I am in charge.”
“Hey Bug!” I pick her up and swing her around. “How are you feel mama?”
“Nauseous.” I put her down and step back. “Its fine, just getting used to the smells again. Baby does not like it when the fumes kick up. Lucky for me, I’m up in the garage most of the time.”
“And how is the husband? Not going to kick my ass for hugging you right?”
She giggled. “No, he’s very protective though. Happy about all of this,” as she rubs her still flat stomach. “Did you hear about this one?” She points to Charles.
“No.” I look at him and a flush creeps up his neck.
“New driver advocate for the FIA. Mister rules and regulations.”
My turn to laugh. “Should be easier to get away with stuff now. Have a man on the inside,” as I patted his shoulder.
“I fucking hate you both,” he mumbles as he kisses Olivia’s cheek and walks away. “Dinner tonight?” he yells.
“Yeah!” I turn back to Olivia. “I got to get ready for testing.”
“I’ll be there with my notes on how badly you did.” She winks like the brat that she is. Over her head I see her husband and best friend walking up.
I raise my hands in the air. “Don’t flirt with me Liv. I don’t date married women,” I say loud enough to get Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes’s attention. “Rogers, you need to control your woman. She’s winking at me and everything. I have too much respect for you not to say something.” I smirk at her,
“Shit starter,” she mumbles while flipping the finger at me. “Stevie, I was not flirting,” she protests.
“I know you didn’t,” Steve winked at me. “That’s what you always say.”
“Steven!” I crack up as I walk away. It feels like old times.
It is not like old time.
The car is a pile of garbage.
Testing was a tire fire.
I am back to rookie status.
Liv is rubbing my back as I bounce my head off the work bench. “It wasn’t that bad.”
“Not that bad? Liv, if I hadn’t made the save in the corner, I wouldn’t have gotten my license back.” I looked at her with an incredulous look. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I never got in the car this year. I had no idea.” Liv squeezes my shoulder. “We’ll sit with the engineers and see what we can do.”
Practice was marginally better. I came in at 14th. I was frustrated. I hadn’t been this bad since my rookie season. I sat on my bed, spinning my ring, staring at Molly. I had to be strong. I had to do this for my family. Qualifying was the next day. I can’t fuck this up.
Qualifying is a shit show.
I’m going to lose this seat, this chance.
It started great. The car was keeping pace after the changes we made. The engineers were confident that they made the right calls on the adjustments. I had to trust them. It's their job after all. I got into the car with hope.
And disappointment seeped in during quali-2. The car kept pace in the first session. Then it didn’t. I could get it to power through seventh gear and I had to retire the car. I kept my temper, knowing people were watching. I watched and saw my fastest lap was only good enough for 12th. I walked out of the public area and sat in a dark corner.
“Wasn’t your fault, Storm.” Ari leaned in the doorway. “You did your best with what we gave you. This is the backup car since Riggin smashed the other.”
“People aren’t going to know that.” My head thudded against the wall. “They are gonna think I’m rusty and out of shape.”
Ari takes a seat next to me. “We should talk to Maya. She should be here in the morning.”
I sit there for a few more minutes before dragging my ass to the pressers and change to head back to the hotel. Every question is the same: what went wrong today? I give the same answers. “I feel excited to be back. The engineers are working on the problem.” Over and over, I feel like a marionet. After I change, I get a message from Susie.
Susie: I couldn’t wait. Was hungry. Johnny: yeah I know. I’ll be back at the hotel in 20. Susie: reading a book so hurry.
I smile at the picture of the selfie she took when I slam into another body. Dropping my phone, I reach and catch the person I ran into, so they don’t hit the ground. The scent of strawberries and vanilla fill my nostrils and I’m thrown into a memory. Of long dark hair, blue eyes and a smile to die for. “I’m so sorry.”
“It's ok, I wasn’t looking.” I freeze when I hear her voice. A voice I hasn’t heard in two years. I flashback to a night I couldn’t forget even if I tried. Back to the night before my life changed.
“Luna?”

Dedicating this post to my first and only twst oc. I've never created fandom-related ocs before He's twisted from Diaval (Maleficent) and listen, I know that Crowley is probably twisted from Diaval too, but I don't care
Lower I'll put his story in English and Ukrainian translations in case someone wants to read
English version:
Diaval's story cannot exist apart from Maleficent's. Dariel's story cannot be told without Malleus.
When he was a child, Malleus had a stuffed raven he got either from his parents or his grandmother.
The young prince Draconia could not boast of a company of peers, so he looked for friends in the books and imagination. He talked to a small army of toys and sometimes repeated the shadow theater performances Lilia has showed.
Dariel was born on one of Malleus' birthdays. By human standards, he was five. In reality, he was about fifty years old. Plenty of time to gain experience and acquire company, but Malleus had neither.
He was used to being alone on his birthdays, but that day was the first time of celebrating even without Lilia's warm presence.
On a cloudy winter night, the shadow of a toy raven opened its eyes, awakened by the young prince's desperate desire to escape loneliness and the impulses of wild magic he hasn't yet known how to control.
From then on, he was never alone again. Or at least he hoped that it would be like that.
For the first time, Malleus had a companion. Not a mute cotton-filled toy or a cold porcelain doll, but a creature with a mind and a voice of its own. Together they spent time reading books in the library, between the trees in the garden, studying and learning, and even when Malleus went to bed, he was sure that in the darkness a pair of yellow lights would certainly be sparkling under his bed. Dariel could follow him wherever there was even a tiny patch of shadow on the floor or a wall. Usually he took his native form of a raven, but within his flat theater he could transform into anything, entertaining the prince with his own performances.
Years passed until one day Dariel, trying to save a human child Lilia had picked up (one could say that protecting children was in his "blood"... if he had blood) from hostile fae, was almost dispelled.
And although Lilia had warned him how bad an idea it was, Malleus gave Dariel a material body to keep him alive. The thought of losing his constant companion, the only stability in his everyday life, was unbearable.
Lilia was right as always. After Dariel received his body, the germ of his own self began to stir. From now on, fae did not ignore him, hidden in the shadows, but glanced at him, sometimes even nodded their heads, he could open the necessary books himself, sleep, taste food, and run his fingers along the satin of the bedsheets, feeling their softness.
The world, which had previously been limited and flat, suddenly became three-dimensional, so interesting and beautiful that Dariel wanted to see it all at once.
For a long time, he did not dare to tell Malleus about his desire. The impetus came from an incident in the garden when one of the local fae called him by the name. Him. Not Lord Draconia. That evening, he finally voiced his dream. And, as expected, was rejected.
Malleus didn't want to let go of the only creature attached to him, and was afraid to feel the childish loneliness of his fifth birthday by human standards.
Soon, Dariel left on his own. He ran away. Towards the unknown and big world, for almost twelve years, knowing what fate would befall him upon his return. But he did it nevertheless. Otherwise, he would have remained in the shadow of prince Draconia forever.
He returned when Malleus was in his first year of NRC. It turned out that Dariel could not exist physically or mentally without his creator and his magical support.
Despite his anger, resentment, and the bitter taste of betrayal, Malleus left Dariel alive: he couldn’t force himself to destroy their bond. At least for the duration of the studies...
The following year, Dariel also entered NRC. Three years within its walls would be the last of his freedom. And, perhaps, his life.
Notes:
- Only Malleus and Lilia know about his true identity. Rook and Leona seem to suspect something. And Crowley. Hmm:)
- After acquiring a material body, he lost the ability to dissolve into shadows on his own, and now only Malleus can change his shape.
- Among of all races in Twisted Wonderland, he is the closest to monsters.
- When Malleus created his body, he was guided by the most familiar example: a fae body with a male anatomy. But Dariel doesn't care about his own gender (if I see an opportunity to make a character agender, I use it).
- It seems that Dariel is the only one in Diasomnia who knows how to look after children without endangering their lives and psyche. Because he is. Well. Literally a child's toy in the past. Silver can partially thank Dariel for keeping him alive during the first years of his life.
- The original toy depicted Diaval.
- Dariel always knows when Rook is watching him, but he doesn't mind, it's pretty flattering. No one has given him so much attention.

Log 25: The Maze of Walls
The gang had been running through the facility for some time now. Sten taking deep wiffs of the air and order to find Selene.
"She going in a different direction, but I think she has already been apprehended.", Sten huffed as he is leading the way.
"How are you certain that mortal hasn't been killed yet?", Bilhard following close by, "our first priority should be finding the rest of our equipment. We don't want it getting it into the wrong hands".
Joe, who preemptively decided to join them, was in a rather calm mood. "Ah good times, but this is a piece in comparison to the-"
"Joe, you wouldn't happen to know where they keep personally item would you?", Bilhard curtly while interrupting him.
"oh, well unsurprisingly I don't know. However if I had some idea...it will be where there are more guards. Or at least two guarding the door.", his rationalizing wasn't completely out of line.
Suddenly, the wall just around the corner had closed down, blocking the way to that particular hall.
The gang stopped.
"....did ....that wall just appear out of nowhere?", Toke had thought out loud. As the group continued, another hall had closed up.
".....they are leading us....", Bilhard stoically answered. Thinking fast, Bilhard looked for a way to avoid the next possible obstacle. He could see there were several doors, he quickly walked up to one and punched a hole through one of them.
It was a blank wall.
"By the throne! This is a maze of false ends!?", Bilhard shouted.
The others quickly checked the other doors. All false spaces of wall.
"Looks like we're being lead somewhere else....oh no...", Joe exclaimed quietly.
Sten turned to look at him, "What is it?".
"When I was transported here, I was blindfolded, but I could feel that it took a VERY long time to arrive down here.....but it was a straight trip down, then a few turns to the left, a right turn and a left....then I was plopped into my cell.....oh boy ....I think we fucked up the second we left through the guard's door.", Joe muttered to himself.
"What?! Why did you not tell us this before!", Bilhard shouted furiously at him.
"Well because I wanted us to get lost...... OBVIOUSLY I DIDN'T REMEMBER THAT SECOND!", Joe shouted back.
"Enough! There is no time to fight amongst ourselves. The scent is coming from the blocked hallway, if we all attempt to break the wall down, we can pass through.", Sten suggested.
The five Astartes prepare themselves to all simultaneously punch the wall down. With the first blows leaving a small dent.
"hmmm...again!", Sten directed.
Another set of blows began to make some progress, the indentation was getting deeper....but it was not relenting.
"What the hell is this metal?! It's like it keeps stretching forever or something!?", Cahrilo pondered.
As soon as the wall was so close to giving way, the air vents had released three times more of the knockout gas had fumed in.
"LOCK IT UP AND HOLD YOUR BREATHS!", Bilhard commanded.
The Astartes now we're working overtime with limited air, the metal had finally begun to give way. With the final blow leaving a sizable hole as big as Toke's fist, the plumes of gas had flowed out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The facility was on high alert, five Astartes have seemingly escaped and avaided capture to this point.
Sleen, who had been watching the camera footage along with Señor Mateo, and several other mysterious patrons. Was starting to become impatient.
These patrons had come from various origins around the world. All upper elites with dubious dealings and businesses.
Sleen was grooling with frustration, the mechanical augmentations that now have begun to physically hurt him, but not as much as his frustration. "What is with these freaks?!?", he moved around like an angry animal.
Señor Mateo wasn't too unimpressed, he whispered to his translator, not even bothering to give Sleen any semblance of polite interaction.
"Señor Mateo askes if this is part of the show, Sleen..... don't look like it.", as the translator looks to him with a suspicious glare.
Suddenly, a chance to be a complete douch had sprung, "AH! Yes, you can place bets on who gets to be captured first! *Twitch and coughs violently* After all, what's a little preshow before the main event! Now place your bets!", some of the patrons had gave permission to give large sums of money, one.... was saving his pot for later.
"Oi! I bet those krumpin tinmen ar gointo escape! Ha! Ain't dats right ladies?", Mr.Green was amongst the patrons, referring to his two female escorts, who both were very happy to just have such a generous and gentlemenly boss.
"mmhmm, I think your right Mr.Green", one giving him a rub of his shoulders.
"Mr.Green NEVER loses a bet.", one addressed Sleen directly, practically challenging him on Mr.Green's behalf.
Sleen turns violently towards the laid back businessman, who has been looming in the corner. "What...did yo-", suddenly, a muscular hand, grabs what was still left of flesh on Sleen's face.
"OI! Yous respekts my ladies! Miss.Blu and Miss.Yellah getz to doz wuts dey wants!", almost crushing Sleen's head. He finally let's go as a warning.
The others had known about Mr.Green's unnatural luck streak. Everything from investments to just making simple, inconsequential guesses....Mr.Green....somehow could make it happen. Those who had bet against the Astartes were now becoming a little bit unsure of their decisions.
Sleen, practically smelling that he's losing money no thanks to Mr.Green, "ALL BETS ARE FINAL FROM THIS POINT! Let the games... begin!", he turns back to the cameras and sees the gang running down a hall ...one that he had been trying to avoid. "DAMNIT!"
Mr.Green was chortling so hard he nearly fell out of seat. "YUZ BLOCKED DAT WRONG WAY! HHAHAHAHAHA!", his cackling was contagious.
Although all bets were final, it was still interesting to see Sleen become more flummoxed.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Running down the halls, the Astartes head towards what looked like a large, open room....only to find a dead end with on door.
"....well...might as well lads...", Sten turned quietly to Bilhard.
With an affirmative nod, the group casually head towards the door. Turning the nob, the door had lead to the holding cells they were in previously.
"rerraaaaAAAAAAHHHHH!", a loud thunderous scream from Bilhard let out, "RUIN PRIEST WHAT MADNESS IS THIS?!?".
Sten too was mortified, how could his senses lead him a stray.
The sound of a little wheerling motor had erupted the silence.
It was an RC car with a piece of Selene's clothes on it. As the little, inconspicuous toy car zoomed into one of the cells, leading to the still open wall behind the cell.
"....well....looks like we never had a choice....at least this time it was kinda fun.", Joe shook his head in mild disappointment, as if the whole escape hadn't met his expectations.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Astartes were more than royally furious at the whole situation. What level of absurdist intelligence did mortals on Earth have that could have bestest the Emperor's finest?
Apparently, three AAA batteries, a motorized toy car and the knowledge two of five were the equivalent of bloodhounds.
The five enter into the dim, dark hallway of the entrance. They could all begin to hear a large crowd, cheering just beyond the hall, a light was just a bit yonder.
Sten, still feeling the sting of being deceived, was still anticipating the next move. He could sense multiple thoughts and minds just beyond the light.
As the blinding light revealed a sizable crowd of people. It was like a tiny colosseum from their perspective.
"WELCOME TO WRESTLE-TON! Where CARNAGE meets ENTERTAINMENT! Tonight! We have an incredible assortment of fighters!", it was Sleen on the intercom.
The crowd roared, and the others weren't sure how they were going to escape.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Viewing several trucks heading to the underground facility, Moors and Gus were making final adjustments to his power armor. As for Wick and Tulio, both had just come back from the airfield where he had originally left his power suit.
"don't worry man... you'll get fly boy some other time....you ready for this?", Tulio nudged him a little.
Wick was pensive about the plan, he knew if anything would go wrong, it could mean that not only would his fellow Astartes would suffer, but Selene would likely suffer an even worse fate. "yes. Moors, is everything ready?"
Moors chuckled a little as he had modified his armor to fit a set of miniature guns, a spraying gas, an electric disrupter on to his helmet, and a special drill, turning it one with an intense enthusiasm.
"Haha! This will be just like the good ol' times", Moors looked at the drill whirling.
Wick, knowing damn well this isn't going to be close to anything the two of them had experienced, "You are not planning on drilling through someone are you?"
Moors looked at Wick, "Oh no I'm just hoping to make some holes ......"
"right.", Wick shot him a look.
NEW YEARS CLEAN-UP 🎊
rules: unburden yourself from the abandoned WIPS collecting dust in your folder and share 5 gifs, then tag five people. (tagged by @yenvengerberg, thank you i feel like i can do something useful with these things now 💖)
tagging with no pressure of course: @wyllhalsin, @capinejghafa, @cardvngreenbriar, @seance, @ayoedebiris, @ughmerlin, @craintheodora, @lottiemilfews, @natscatorrcio (yeah miles i'm tagging you to be funny i know what you did with those psds)
these are all from projects that i have in a folder titled "on the bench" that i want to pretend i'll come back to, but.... some of these have been benched for so long and they're no longer fresh in my head so i fear they'll be abandoned forever. should also be mentioned that a lot of projects on the bench are literally just me making all the typography first and then losing inspo when i actually wanted to gif things.... usually by the time i do start, i change my mind about the type anyway. i also have so many abandoned gifs from other gifsets i've already posted but i'm not even sure where to begin searching so... here are some things!
one of the many gifs i already created for a prompt from @yellowjacketsoctober to put the show in a different genre. ironically, a prompt that i came up with for the event specifically to make this gifset but didn't even complete. i spent so many hours and so many days trying to gif this entire arc for these three with the intent to make it a heist drama set but after so long i realized i was just giffing exactly what happened in the show and it started to feel pointless. but at least here's a preview of something that i'll never finish. my trio of all time, can they commit more crimes together please! (should also be said that this folder is 44gb because i already saved all the caps + because these psds are so heavy... new years clean up for real)
i don't know what it is about lydia that makes it so hard for me to finish any set for her, but every time i try i seem to always lose the drive eventually (probably because twd in general just feels really uninteresting for me to blend, for some reason). from a 2022 spotify wrapped meme, i'm pretty sure i restarted this specific gifset so many different times, unhappy with the colors and the blends and the text and everything -- which is why there are two very different examples here. my girl of all time though i will finish something for her eventually (and maybe even this one, because this song is still so good for her).
one of the many gifs that were abandoned by my scream vi set for favorite slasher in october. when tumblr first changed the image upload limit to 30, i promised myself to never take advantage of that too much, but i severely underestimated how many moments i would want to include for this movie and i made so many other gifs for this set but ultimately cut them so i could try to tone it down - 18 gifs in this set still feels like a lot but i spent so much time on this set that it was hard to part with many more. anyway here's sam being the hottest final girl in the world and correct about everything.
i don't know how long this has been on the bench but it was definitely a project i started way before season 2 even aired. i think i just got stuck and wasn't sure where to go with it, but anyway her!
extra spoiler for @wyllhalsin but this was supposed to be a pride edit in june for one of my favorite lgbt characters of all time. this show's camera movements nearly makes it impossible to blend anything so i lost the drive, but i will come back for felix someday (and for coty, obviously this set was for him).
#personal#tumblr2023#tag game#this is such a good idea kissing the person who started this game#'new years clean up' and then i still dont delete these psds Just In Case -
