Predictions for Buddy's Real Name

Hello Cinderella Boy enjoyers, how are we doing? Sobbing? Suffering? I can only imagine what emotional turmoil the fast passers may be experiencing right now. Well, to get our minds off of the impending Season One finale, I've decided to try and predict what Buddy's "real" name is.

(PS. You don't have to take this too seriously; I just needed some way to cope after the penultimate episode.)

(P.P.S This post is a pretty long read, so just stay with me on this, or continue on with your scrolling :))

First, I took some observations as to how Punko names her protagonists and compiled the following notes:

Punko has yet to name a main character anything starting with a vowel.

Punko's MCs have had names starting with either a stop/plosive or a fricative.

All of these names have had English, Latin, or Greek origins.

I also am taking the following assumptions into consideration when sifting through potential names:

I'm going to assume Punko will keep in line with all previous observations.

I believe Punko takes a bit of consideration of the meaning behind her characters. Deacon is the most obvious example, because he's like a friend and whatever and second in command to Chase. Prunella means "little plum", and yeah, I can see that. She is smol, and her temperament is... tart like a plum? But also sweet, like a plum? (I've never had a plum, I'm assuming this is what they're like).

I think her name choices skew towards a slightly older generation. Chase being an exception, but with names like "Frankie" and "Prunella" more commonly being given to children in the Victorian Era, apparently. Either way, I'll focus on slightly older names, like 90's and back probably.

I will be keeping a heavy focus on names that begin with the letter 'B' because the title of the series is "Cinderella" (Chase) "Boy" (Buddy/B-alternate name) and I personally think that would be cool.

Last thing is I'm gonna add names of Greek and French origin to the roster because I feel insane. My sources for searching mainly boil down to behindthename.com and the 2012 edition of this baby name book of 100,000+ baby names. That being said:

List of Potential Buddy Names

1. Beau

This is my personal favorite, which is why I'm listing it first, but I do have a few valid reasons for adding it here.

It means "handsome" in French

It plays into the "storybook/romance" angle of the series

Begins with the letter 'B'

Has been a relatively popular name since the 70s

2. Theodore

Kind of a weird 2nd pick, maybe, but hear me out.

Comes from Greek meaning "gift of God"

Could reflect that one theory that Buddy is not actually a human, but rather some creation that Ex Libris made

Was popular in 1915 and 2025, which is kind of silly

3. Vincent

Sounds regal enough, lol

Latin origin

Means "to conquor", so maybe he's gotta win something (like his freedom??)

peaked in the mid-60s and 90s

4. Connor

I have a friend named this, so it'd be really funny on Punko's part to name Buddy this

has like two roots meaning "desire" and "wolf"

he desires freedom, and is treated like a dog (they give him ZERO chocolate in Ex Libris)

of Irish origin, but idk, I still like it

5. Hunter

Okay this one has a single thing in it's favor criteria-wise (is of English origin), but this would be very cool considering Chase's name. Chase? and Hunter? Chase the Hunter? Hunt the Chase? Absolute power couple stuff here. Ship name could but C**ter---nevermind that censoring is actually worse

(maybe? comment down what the appropriate ship name for two characters names "Chase" and "Hunter"in case this is actually this poor man's name)

6. Victor

Some goober in the Webtoon comments section, like a year ago claims that Punko said this was gonna be Buddy's name in a Twitch stream, so maybe dawg?

Latin origin; also has to do with winning and victory of his rights or smthn

within the top 250 of baby names for Americans

7. Grayson

Will Grayson, Will Grayson? More like Will Gayson, Will Gayson. /j

means "son of the grey-haired one"

would play into that neglected/dehumanized lighting that he probably experiences in ex libris

would be an *incredibly* emotional scene if Chase asks for Buddy's name in some display of trust or frustration and Buddy has to confess that he's never had one

And yeah, those are all the options I'd be willing to place money on. However, I do have more names compiled from Webtoon's comments, my friends' suggestions and some wild guesses that I am placing below for funsies, with my favorites highlighted:

Let’s see, idk if I have a favorite so here are some headcanons I have for Mipha:

She’s an enneagram type 2 with a 1 wing. In English, that means she’s a caregiver with a strong sense of justice and doing the right thing, making her a compassionate and kindhearted protector. But she can go too far with this, basing her own worth on her ability to care for others, pushing her own needs aside. She wants to help everyone, and what good is she if she can’t?

Mipha has been crown princess of the Zora and admired by her people for the majority of her life. She’s very aware that she’s constantly being watched, and between that self awareness and being a caregiver to others, hardly anyone knows what she’s actually like when she’s at ease (the Bazz Brigade is the exception)

Mipha’s shyness around Link has nothing to do with not knowing how to act when under his scrutiny—they’ve been friends since they were kids. Instead it’s based upon a fear of altering or destroying their relationship if he doesn’t harbor the same affections for her. (And a smidge of awkwardness because why is she feeling this way around him)

Mipha’s always wanted to be a mother. Nurturing is a natural part of her personality. As she and Link actually develop a romantic relationship, she struggles with reconciling the fact that she probably will never have kids of her own, but she and Link talk about adopting (at the time they don’t know they can actually have kids together)

Mipha is very curious about the world, but her adventurous side is dependent entirely upon who she is with. When with someone more timid than her, she pushes them to explore with her and open up to everything. When with someone far more reckless, she’s usually the voice of caution. The exception to this rule is Link: she knows him well enough, knows his capabilities, and loves going on adventures with him.

Her favorite color is blue, particularly the shade that appears when the luminous stones reflect in Link’s eyes

While Mipha is more than willing to fight, she thinks she’s the weakest of the champions. Logically, that means she’s the most likely to die. The best way she can cope with this is to prepare those around her for her death in the subtlest way possible so as not to alarm anyone. She doesn’t really expect to survive the Calamity, but she’s trying to find peace with that. She just hopes she’s wrong, but she has to prepare herself mentally.

This thought process leads to her being conflicted about admitting her feelings to Link. If she dies, she doesn’t want to break his heart if he says yes (which she doesn’t dare to hope). If he says no she’ll feel all the lonelier during her final months. But if neither is the case, she… perhaps it’s selfish, she supposes, but she wants to be loved, and she wants him to know how she feels. Eventually this last part wins out. (At least in the botw timeline - I feel like Link probably would admit his feelings first in AoC after Mipha is almost killed since it seems less time passes between them before the calamity in this version)

Mipha is very proud of her ability to heal and it’s the thing that makes her happiest.

Mipha is simultaneously the mother and the baby of the champions. She’ll try to nurture and help everyone, and literally everyone will do everything they can to take care of her in return.

She isn’t used to exploring her own emotions and is therefore very private about them. Hence her freaking out over the thought of anybody reading her diary.

As for what I like to see in Mipha/Miphlink stories… admittedly I haven’t read too many, but anything that gives Mipha some depth makes me happy. She’s very sweet in the game, and you can kind of glean more from her based on her behavior and actions, but she is very much… idk, she’s not written poorly, but I don’t know how to describe it. She’s almost written too perfect? Not because she’s without flaws, she’s just seen from the nostalgia of others and rarely has a lot of screen time in memories, so it makes her a little less relatable sometimes. But there’s a lot you can glean from context and the story, so I do like her character. I just want to see her with depth! Lots of fanfics just make her the quiet, demure, sweet little champion and that’s it.

I'M SO READY TO TALK ABOUT THIS!!! DAD!MATTY BLURB IN COMING!!!!

Rosie was born in October 2020 (I think that's what I wrote anyway) so when girly found out she was pregnant it was like, EARLY 2020 MFC tour days. She 100% found out she was pregnant on one of the Australian dates in Feb 2020 (I could do a full oneshot on that one fr) . Every doctors appointment once lockdown started in March she had to go to on her own even though they obviously went completely private with the birth but in my head girly 110% had a home birth. So all the appointments were really hard and nerve wrecking for the both of them because they just wanted each other to be there.

In my mind she chose a home birth because if not she would’ve had to do it alone because of the restrictions and Matty is practically her life line so she couldn’t do it without him being there 24/7, literally every step of the way.

Once everything after the birth settles down everything is kinda quiet and peaceful. Like, girly was meant to be a mother so she's practically a natural, it's Matty who I think has a bit more of a difficult time getting used to things but over time (and pretty quickly) he adapts to everything and all of Rosie's needs. He also struggled with feeling pretty useless when it came to certain things, so when girly gave him the task of baby proofing the concrete bunker he fully jumped at the chance.

They didn't really get an extra hands from Denise or Tim because of all the Covid restrictions, so they did and learned everything together, just the two of them.

But now that Rosie is a few months away from turning four in present time, they definitely feel like if they started trying soon for baby number two they'd be super parents and they'd have everything under control lol.

do you have any headcanons for the maidenvault princesses?

I think I have a couple! Some of these might be gathered from previous headcanon posts so forgive me if I’m repeating myself again lol

Daena:

- canonically a daddy’s girl, definitely thought her father and brother were the coolest people alive as a kid though didn’t completely understand the trauma her dad was still grappling with until after his death

-loved her sisters and naerys but probably had a bit of a Not Like Other Girls goth phase when she was little, poor girl 💀

- tried to bond with the Last Dragon, but was forbidden from ever going into the dragonpit and never managed to succeed in sneaking in until after the dragon died. Probably named her horses dragon names like Meleys and Meraxes because she wanted to imagine she was riding one of them

- likely did consider running away entirely in the few times she broke out, but felt bad about abandoning her sisters and decided to stay for their sake (even tho she got kinda mad at them abt it)

- when it comes to her relationship with aegon…… okay ngl I do think she willingly slept with him, but was kinda coerced into doing so because he helped break her out and was pressured into feeling like she owed him

- Mentioned this before but she and Barba had a very horrible toxic frienemy-ship. Like, they hated each other, probably openly talked shit about one another but also shit-talked everyone else in the Maidenvault and stayed up all night talking about how much they fuckin hated it there

-She definitely loves Daemon cause he’s her baby boy but was bitter at being made pregnant to begin with. Her relationship with him was loving but really unhealthy

- Idk how she dies? I’m pretty sure she’s supposed to have died young, honestly I headcanon sometime in her late 20’s/ early 30’s but she gets a cool rad hot girl death like. Idk. Fighting a wolf. Or getting caught in a storm and getting shipwrecked

Rhaena:

- Okay so I think she might be the sister we know least about so she gets the most fanfic-y writing cause I’m getting silly with it. For starters, absolutely her mom’s favourite, probably took a lot after Daenaera in looks and was overall really cute and sweet as a kid

- That being said!! In her maidenvault era, she was absolutely deranged. Like, still a nice girl, but because she was weirdly okay with being trapped in the maidenvault to begin with I do think she started acting like a weirdo. Like, when Daena went all in refusing to admit who her baby daddy was Rhaena was saying shit like “well maybe the father should be gelded and thrown naked onto the sept to be beaten with sticks. In a holy way :)”

- Still Naerys’ favourite cousin and ngl Naerys was probably her favourite cousin too, but their views on the faith were a littleeeeee different. Because of how weird she gets I kinda like to think she was also just weird about her views and how the faith works. Thinks even a bad thought needs to be severely punished and probably did hurt herself just a littleee in the process which Naerys absolutely did not fuck with

- Developped agoraphobia post-maidenvault era. Started getting really anxious about just being outside so immediately went to be a septa just to close herself inside another holy-ish place because that’s kinda what she saw as her protection. Unhealthy coping mechanism queen <3

- Idk I don’t have much on her beyond that. Think she died pretty peacefully? Probably some flu when she was older

Elaena:

- Childhood friends with Daeron because she was a little too young to really be playmates with her sisters or brothers. I want to think they had a normal familial relationship as kids? But then again this is the Targs we’re talking about here soo…..

- When she originally cut her hair it was so bad and fucked up that she needed Daena and Rhaena both to help fix it. She ended up with a very short bowl cut that she eventually grew out a little, and learned to maintain her own hair because she got so embarrassed asking for help 😭

- Was genuinely in love with Alyn, though a bittttt too young and sheltered to really realize how fucked up it was and how their relationship might’ve probably definitely ruined his marriage to Baela. Maybeeee it’s for the best he went missing-

- As for the whole Viserys Plumm thing…. Okay, I gotta be honest I kinda doubt Aegon was really the dad here. Tbh that does lean into some fun little horror elements if he is, but let’s bfr here Eleana would neverrrr sleep with AEGON of all people willingly??? Especially by then cause there’s no doubt in my mind he was starting to look pretty gross

- Tbh I think she and Myriah initially kinda had a strained relationship because of her initial sorta weird familial relationship with Daeron when they were younger, but they slowly started to get along and respect each other as members of the government

- I also headcanon her to have been the one to suggest the Aerys/Aelinor match (as mentioned previously I think she might be Aelinor’s stepmom just cause it works better timeline-wise)

- Honestly, she lived to be so old that ngl I kinda think she might’ve straight up died from natural causes like- seventy is a legendary age in westeros girlie outlived everyoneeee in her generation! Hell she might’ve lived long enough to see Egg become king before kicking it!

spotify wrapped ! 2024

it's been a whole year!!! i think i'm more happy with my spotify wrapped this year, since all the songs on my top listened are all very important to me (or at least, i can remember listening to them during a specific time).

okay i'm not sure how much 33,000 minutes is, but my longest day of listening was 547 minutes, which is over 9 hours. jesus christ. but june 30... that was an important day to me. i had an essay due on that day, so the night before i stayed up until 6am writing it (and reading fanfics to take a break, lol). it's really nostalgic, watching the sun rise and hearing everyone wake up.

.................... i'm a little sad that my top 3 songs are all songs i listened to in order to cope with a.... certain event. but. they are all good songs. truly.

hibana (ES COVER....): i fucking love this cover so much. i was recommended to listen to it after an es fan on tumblr said it was really good and i agree. it changed my life. i love the fast tempo, es's cv (i know i've said this before... idc she is so good), es sounds so emotional, i love the lyrics SO MUCH ("amidst a love that missed saying "no"- or something, "i don't want to harbor a love that never ends" and stuff along the lines of "do it properly", etc.)... and. the key change. absolute insanity.

help me, erin!: to be honest, i think this is my most listened to song, since i listened to it way more consistently and i've looped multiple covers (makina remix, piano cover, MUSESCORE piano cover, "sh-style", 8-bit, utau cover, MY ALARM. i'm not joking this is my alarm- or at least the instrumental version is) . awesome lyrics (i don't know why but.... these lyrics are relatable: "ahh, what will i do!? i raise my arm on high", "you are my princess, my selfish princess", etc.), fast tempo, dancy, IV-V-iii-vi progression, the way miku is tuned helps me cope with life okay... idk, it's weird to be obsessed with a touhou fansong (i don't even know touhou) but i just cope like this, okay.

kimagure mercy: what a fun and dancy song. i did transcribe this (and i'm quite proud of it). i think my favorite lyric has to be jubyphobic's english ver, "lonely girl needs a guy to hold on tight, baby". which is SO heteronormative but that's the fun of the song. this was also a major coping song lmao. i think i found all of these songs in the april-june range when i was dying. this song told me that you gotta just let it go and leave. "letting him walk? and walk upon you?" "even if i cry and beg you not to go, nothing can possibly change!" "let me hope just a little bit, dammit..."

good child and the fox spirit: yeah.... i found it because of that 0909 animatic lmao. no shame. i originally thought it was amane (before i actually watched milgram) bc i never watched the animatic. i don't have much to say about this song, but it's insanely catchy. that part that goes, "love you, i love you, i love love love love you when you're a good child" or something scratches my brain just right. can't believe kikuo doesn't have music theory knowledge. it's insane.

empurple: ARGHHHHH i found this the last week of june and it powered me to finish my essay. it really reminds me of samsa, with the rhythm and all. i love the tuning of miku (i think it's miku...). rhyming, "please forgive me and purple" and "empurple" is really amazing to me. it's so catchy.

Notes: I don’t do high school AU’s too much. I had a horrible time in high school and I’m 10+ years away from that bullshit at this point. Butttt… Idk. Something about this prompt made me do one lol. Also, I’ll be honest, this is heavily based on a really old (and frankly badly written) fic I wrote for a fandom I’m no longer in. I kinda liked the general idea, so decided I wouldn’t waste it ;) Remember to reuse and recycle~ Title is from Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus.

Hanzo looked at the door, nervously eyeing up the word ‘detention’ embossed into the silver sign. He’d never been to detention in his life. Usually he was an A+ model student, well behaved, punctual and all the teachers loved him. Yet here he was. He knew he deserved this in some way, he’d let his temper get the best of him, and he had no one to blame for his actions but himself. There wasn’t much he could do now except accept his punishment with dignity.

He took a deep breath and pushed the door open.

The teacher sitting at the desk inside was one he recognised very well. Mr. Raiden Narukami was the English Literature teacher, and one of the most beloved in the school. Mr. Narukami raised an eyebrow at Hanzo, obviously surprised to see someone usually so well behaved inside the room.

“Hanzo Hasashi. Well, I will admit I am quite surprised.” He held out a hand, and Hanzo realised he was expecting to receive the detention slip that Hanzo had been provided. Hanzo passed it over, and Mr. Narukami read through the slip, sighing and nodding along as he did. “Ah. Well, that is disappointing to read.” Hanzo didn’t reply, he just lowered his head. “Mr. Hasashi, I am awfully sorry for what you have been through lately, but you and I both know that is no excuse for that sort of behaviour.”

“I know,” Hanzo agreed, because he did know. Him not coping well with his current life events was no reason for him to do what he did. “My father will be getting me therapy as soon as possible, we’re just on the waiting list.”

Mr. Narukami sighed, “yes, I’m sadly aware how bad mental health services are right now. Hopefully it won’t be too long, and you can get the help you need, yes?”

“Yes Sir.” He was starting to lose hope on that, but maybe he shouldn’t.

“Either way, please take a seat Mr. Hasashi.”

Hanzo nodded and moved to sit down on a random seat. He was the only person in the room, and all his thoughts wandered to how his Father would react when he got home. Of course, he was already aware this had happened, they’d called his father in straight away. It was the only reason his punishment was as light as it was, the other kid’s parents agreeing on account of Hanzo’s current circumstances, even if it had taken far too much to persuade them to do so.

Still, he couldn’t help but feel like his Father would be disappointed in him, and that thought hurt. Even worse, if his Mother were here, what would she say?

He jumped out of his skin, broken from his thoughts as the door slammed open suddenly. Another boy walked into the room, short black hair with a large scar over one side of his face and lots of piercings all over. Hanzo recognised him as Song Kuai Liang, who was in the same year as him but they ran very different circles.

In fact, Kuai Liang didn’t really have a circle at all.

Kuai Liang was more or less everything Hanzo wasn’t. He didn’t do his work on time, he didn’t join clubs, he didn’t socialise and he tended to get terrible grades. While it wasn’t too surprising he was in detention, given he tended to get into trouble whenever possible, Hanzo still couldn’t help but feel a little intimidated by his presence.

“Hi Raiden, did you miss me?” Kuai Liang said with a massive grin on his face. Mr. Narukami looked exhausted for a second, but finally his lips curled into a fond smile.

“Of course I have. This room isn’t the same without you. So, what did you do this time?” He held out his hand like he had done to Hanzo, and Kuai Liang placed a rather scrappy looking detention note into it. Mr. Narukami looked at the piece of paper, looking utterly perplexed. “You… Ate an apple in class?” He questioned, watching as Kuai nodded. “Well. I have to admit, this is extremely tame for you. I’d say you’re losing your touch, Kuai Liang.”

“Well there’s nothing in the handbook that says we can’t eat in class,” Kuai Liang explained as he shrugged. “I need to keep my blood sugars up somehow. Not my fault the teacher took it as a challenge to her authority.”

Mr. Narukami stared flatly for a few seconds, before finally letting out a soft chuckle. “At this point, they’re just throwing you in here for every little thing, hm?”

“Or I’m finding reasons for them to send me here,” Kuai claimed, wearing a small grin. “You are my best friend, after all, Raiden.”

“Yes, all these years we’ve spent together, it is hard to not grow fond of someone,” he replied with a genuine affection in his voice. Huh, it seemed Mr. Narukami genuinely did like Kuai Liang for some reason. That explained why he got away with calling him Raiden as well. “You know the drill by now, go take a seat, Kuai Liang.”

Kuai Liang turned to approach the seats. Hanzo hoped that he’d choose any of the empty seats that weren’t beside him. His hopes were rudely squashed when Kuai Liang sat himself down at the desk right next to him. Hanzo cursed in his head, he didn’t really want to have to interact with him. Kuai Liang looked Hanzo up and down, wearing a confused look on his face.

“I don’t recognise you,” he muttered, tilting his head ever so slightly. “Is it your first time down here?”

“Yes,” Hanzo reluctantly replied, not really liking being the centre of attention.

“Mr. Hasashi is actually a well behaved student, unlike some people we can mention,” Mr. Narukami replied. It surprised Hanzo a fair bit, he didn’t think student’s were supposed to speak during detention, but Mr. Narukami didn’t seem that bothered.

“Hasashi?” Kuai Liang looked like he was thinking. “Wait, shit, aren’t you on your way to being valedictorian? What the fuck are youdoing here?”

“Language Kuai Liang,” Mr. Narukami warned, and Hanzo once again didn’t understand why he was allowing this.

“Sorry Raiden,” Kuai Liang called, waving lazily in his direction. “But, really. How does someone like you end up in detention?”

“I… I punched another student,” Hanzo admitted, looking in the opposite direction. He really didn’t want to talk about this, but it seemed Kuai Liang wasn’t going to let him be silent.

“Whoa, really? That’s so cool.” Of course the kid who got into trouble so often he was on a first name basis with the teacher who ran detention would think punching someone was cool. “Was it hard? Did you knock the guy out? Was there blood?”

“Kuai Liang,” Mr. Narukami interrupted, sounding exacerbated. “I’m sure Mr. Hasashi doesn’t want to answer all those questions. Not everyone is as thirsty for blood and violence as you are.”

“I’m not thirsty for blood and violence,” Kuai mumbled, sounding almost offended by it. “I just like knowing the details of the fights that happen around here.” Kuai Liang turned back to Hanzo and commented “at least it’s only for today, right?”

“Actually I’ll be here all week,” Hanzo muttered under his breath and he heard a small gasp from Kuai Liang.

“Did you straight up fucking kill the guy or something?”

“Language,” Mr. Narukami reminded him yet again, although this time he didn’t even bother looking up from the paperwork he was doing. Hanzo could only assume this was all such a common occurrence that he’d given up actually trying to punish Kuai Liang.

“No, but I mean, I’ve punched a lot of people,” Kuai claimed, crossing his arms over his chest. “And I’ve only gotten a day at most each time. What did you do to them?”

“I don’t know, it wasn’t that… bad,” Hanzo tried to justify, although Kuai Liang’s claim made him feel strange. How was it he was being punished harsher than a guy who claimed to have punched a lot of people? Hanzo supposed maybe it was that this was a compromised punishment, as the other kid’s parents had wanted him suspended at first.

“Well, either way, guess we’re detention buddies for the week.” Kuai Liang slouched back in his chair, stretching and yawning, before putting his feet up on the desk. “How’s it feel to know what you did is equally as bad as eating an apple?” He shook his head dramatically and scoffed. “The school rules are really just bullshit sometimes. Once I got in here because I disagreed with a teacher on something.”

“You’re missing out the part of the story where you dramatically ranted in precise detail about why he was wrong,” Mr. Narukami chimed up. “And you did call him some rather choice words.” He put his pen down and looked at Kuai with an amused smile. “I will grant that you had a point, but did you really have to call him a filthy bastard?”

“I only called him that because he called me stupid.” Kuai Liang pouted. “I know I’m a difficult kid, but I’m not stupid.”

“I know,” Mr Narukami softly assured him, smiling kindly at him. He looked like he was about to say something else, but before he could, there was a knock on the door and another teacher stepped inside, signalling for Mr. Narukami to follow him. “I’ll be back in a second. No talking.” He winked at them as he said that, positioned in a way the other teacher couldn’t see.

It didn’t take long for him to disappear, leaving Hanzo and Kuai Liang alone.

“You’re lucky to get Raiden for your first time in detention,” Kuai Liang stated almost as soon as the door had closed. “He’s pretty chill compared to others. I think he realises that people tend to get sent here for really dumb shit.” He turned back to look at Hanzo, pursing his lips. “But really, how hard did you hit that kid? Your punishment seems disproportionate to your crime.”

“It wasn’t even that hard,” Hanzo grumbled, because fucking hell, it really hadn’t been that bad. The kid didn’t even have a bruise, but he’d cried like Hanzo had broken his skull in half. “I just didn’t realise when I hit him, that his parents happen to contribute a lot to the school financially, so he basically gets away with murder.”

“Oh, yikes, that’d do it.” Kuai grimaced at him, baring his teeth slightly. “You’d have done better punching someone like me, to be fair.” He brushed his hair from his face as he said “actually, next time you feel like punching someone, I give you permission to find me and deck me. You probably won’t even get detention because they’ll put the blame on me.”

“I would rather there not be a next time… But I will keep that offer in mind, thank you.” It was one of the most bizarre things anyone had ever said to him, yet coming from Kuai Liang it was almost sweet.

“So, what did the guy do to make you punch him?” Kuai Liang asked, adjusting himself so his feet were back on the floor, and he was leaning forward onto the desk. “Because I can’t imagine someone like you would go straight to punching for no reason.”

“I just…” Hanzo stopped himself, grunting in frustration. He’d spent so long repressing his feelings, but obviously that wasn’t working. He hadn’t told his friends how he’d been feeling all these months, why would he tell a stranger like Kuai Liang? Even so, he sighed and admitted “over summer vacation, my mother passed away. The guy I punched was making fun of her death.”

“What a fucking bastard,” Kuai bluntly exclaimed and Hanzo couldn’t help a bit of a spluttering laugh. Kuai sounded so angry on his behalf. Strange, how even the kid who was known for getting into trouble seemed to understand that was a line to not be crossed. “I’m sorry to hear about your mom though. My Mama passed away when I was little, so I know how you feel.”

“You do?” He questioned, raising an eyebrow.

“No need to sound so surprised. I’m an asshole, but I have feelings, y’know?” Kuai laughed slightly, but did look solemnly. “People don’t get it until it happens to them. It’s like a source of warmth is extinguished, and all that’s left is cold.”

Huh. It does feel a bit like that, doesn’t it?

“You have quite the way with words,” Hanzo commented, because given Kuai Liang’s grades, it wasn’t something he’d expected.

Kuai snorted and said “yeah, despite my fearsome reputation, I actually kind of like reading.”

“Huh.” He remembered the previous conversation with Mr. Narukami, and when Kuai claimed he didn’t like being called stupid. Maybe his grades weren’t an indication of his intelligence. There was clearly, at the very least, an emotional intelligence most of their peers did not possess. “How come you’re always here anyway? Kind of feels like if you put your mind to it, you could be valedictorian yourself.”

“I’m the kid of a crime boss,” he casually replied, shrugging like that was a completely normal thing to say. “I was already being treated like I was trouble even when I was behaving. So what’s the point of seeking validation that’s never going to come?”

Hanzo wasn’t sure about the first bit, that sort of thing seemed far fetched and would only happen in the movies. The second bit however? How sad he sounded when he said it? That was definitely the truth. It actually made Hanzo feel bad for judging him harshly himself.

“I mean for fucks sake, I have detention for a week for eating an apple,” Kuai half exclaimed in a mix of a laugh and a sob. “But kids like the one you punched can get away with being the actual devil all because mommy and daddy can pay their way out of trouble.”

“You have a point, about the school rules being bullshit,” Hanzo agreed, because now that he thought about it. Yeah. This all seemed disproportionate. The kid he punched had been bullying him, surely, and yet the system protected him.

It all just seems… Unfair.

“Welcome to my world,” Kuai said sadly. “At least Raiden seems to know this is all bullshit.”

Before Hanzo could say any more, the door flung open and Mr. Narukami walked back in, looking perplexed by something. He stood at the front of the room, staring down at his hands.

“Kuai Liang, can I ask you a question?” Mr. Narukami asked.

“Uh, depends what it is?” Kuai’s expression relaxed, and it just made how sad he’d been previously seem so much more obvious.

“Do I speak in riddles?” Mr. Narukami tilted his head to one side. “Because apparently there’s been complaints.”

“Eh, there is a reason you have been nicknamed ‘the sphinx’ I suppose.” That wasn’t true, and Hanzo could tell from the grin on his face that Kuai Liang was just teasing.

“What? No! I haven't? Have I?”

“Oh yeah, I’ve heard that too,” Hanzo innocently added, feeling a flutter in his chest at the delighted smile Kuai Liang gave him.

Maybe this was going to be a long week, but he felt a little better knowing he had an ally for it at least.

i definitely didn't intend to flesh it out, but you know how my annoying ass brain works. had to and wanted to rework some things, so it's not all the same. like instead of roman having several siblings or a twin, he just has his younger sister, vai, who is.....a hot mess. lol she's best friends with solana and has been since they were kids, hence how roman knows and has been around solana a lot in his life.

cause roman only fucked with sam when he wanted to fuck, thus i couldn't justify him or understand how/why he would have a lot of interaction with solana.

vai will know roman is the father of solana's baby, because she and solana are so close.

roman and vai's parents died when they were young, so it's always just been them. roman coped by turning his emotions off. vai coped/copes by drinking and promiscuity.

considering an angle where there's tension between jey and roman, as jey also has a thing for solana. slight love triangle? except poor solana is head over heels for roman, so jey never really stood/stands a chance. except he also knows roman is the father of solana's baby and feels like roman has done/is doing solana dirty.

haven't landed on solana's job just yet. kind of want to go the bookstore owner angle and have her be an aspiring writer. or maybe artist. idk.

(idk, tbh, I really struggled with myself about this one, whether or not or put it to you, but then I thought, hey wth, why not!)

Hi!  Thank you for sending this thinky piece to me!  I’m going to answer it here rather than a prompt (hope that’s okay) as I’m not sure I could do this justice as a full story, but it is certainly interesting to consider.  I’ve been turning it over in my mind for a few days to get my thoughts in order.

Making Tess infertile in Drifters was deliberate to avoid traversing into some very dark territory because, other than the killjoy of pregnancy scares, I knew I’d be looking at going into multi-miscarriage territory.  I think given the diet, the lifestyle, the tension and the constant dangers, bringing a baby to full term would be extremely difficult.  And while bringing a baby (or a dozen, given these bunnies) into the story could’ve had its moments, I think it would have ultimately drawn focus away from what I wanted to do.  And I also felt, well, they had enough to worry about without tormenting them with that, too.

I’m also kind of untraditional myself, so the progression of in love = married = babies isn’t really my jam, even though I still find the concept kind of intriguing from a fictional perspective.  (I mean, Tess and Joel as parents?? It is appealing.  And I kind of flirt with that a bit with the fever dreams).

So with my rationale of why I did not do this out of the way I can now just give you a brain dump of Tessjoel pregnancy ideas that I might have done something with (and who knows? Still might somehow ...!)  So trigger warning out there, this would be dark:

Tess finding out she’s pregnant between Missouri and Tennessee and hiding it for as long as she can, hoping it will just go away on its own or more likely

Joel figuring it out before she does because he is Attentive Father and Husband 101 and being like, “… is there any chance that maybe you might be … pregnant there, Tess?”

Violent morning sickness resulting in the trio holing up somewhere we didn’t see in the story – Tess quickly unable to travel, basically.

Everyone being extremely miserable and scared about it the whole time.

Tess ultimately miscarrying and then a whole lot of trauma and guilt because she wanted that to happen.

Joel wanting the baby the whole time, because his key jam in life is to be a father, and although he was sensibly scared about what this would all mean he actually felt good about it.

Tess then breaking things off with him entirely, not so much because she was afraid of falling pregnant again but because of the guilt being amplified when she realises that he really wanted it.

Meeting up with another group a few weeks later when they get moving again and Tess deciding that she’s going to leave with them.

I don’t know, maybe not seeing one another for awhile?  Months?  Maybe a year or so?

Finding one another again, maybe somewhere like Sioux Falls/if not actually Sioux Falls.

Naturally they’re at it like rabbits again, nothing has changed about the way they feel for one another.

Things are good for awhile, they’re careful.

She’d fall pregnant again and this time they’re like, okay, maybe this is something good, maybe we should do this.

Tess extremely stressed, maybe not so ill this time around but not really coping so well.

Joel being the one to have a handle on it, he’d just think she was so fucking beautiful pregnant it’d be sickening lol. He’d be rationing himself to give her the best food etc.

Another miscarriage, this time Joel is there and with her the duration.

This time it pulls them closer together rather than pushes them apart.

… I did say it’d be pretty dark, lol.  So yeah, I think that’s probably the kind of journey the Arien Treatment would’ve given that storyline.  It would have changed everything.

Thoughts were all over the place…

Let’s dive in, before I go on these are MY opinions. You’re welcome to come for me or not lol that’s up to you. I simply write my personal thoughts during and after watching the episodes.

I want to start with the mess that is Raymew, but before I hit up on that, cheum baby, let’s talk about you shall we?

Up until this episode I’ve been riding with cheum. I love her, this episode however, I started feeling some type of way towards her. She’s still a very likable character don’t get me wrong but in this specific episode I was not on board with her though i get her pov. that’s the beauty of writing. I feel as though p’jojo had her be the one to go off on ray to let us know that she’s the one who can bring and probably keeps them all together as a friend group. But we might dig into that later. I just personally felt the attack on Ray, after so many times he’s fucked up. Like I said I get her. I see why she’s frustrated, Ray is a mess and that boy needs help, but where will he find it or heal if he gets it from no one? Not his parents, for obvious reasons we already know, not from his friends, we saw it from Mew but only for a brief time and the love Ray has for Mew maybe affected the way Mew cares for Ray now. I’m not defending Ray at all. He’s making endless mistakes and I’m honestly getting so annoyed at him but that’s how unstable people realistically act. They can’t accept or receive help even when it’s given, i.e Sand in Ray’s case. I just thought the both times she blamed Ray for Mew, a grown ass man who’s capable of making his own decisions, for the bad boy choices. I felt like she just wanted to blame Ray due to his obvious constant behavior but Mew is choosing to deal with his pain this way, and again; realistically some people do cope with pain in that way, we see it in Ray all the time. She needs to pull Mew aside and talk to him about why he’s acting out.

Now RayMew. Mew was chill for me but up to this point he’s been making decisions that irk the shit out of me. Like i mentioned in last week’s post, he was getting on my nerves with the way he was acting over Top but I was shut up which I really liked! But this episode i was back to disliking this new version of Mew. It’s good that he’s giving Top the cold shoulder that’s what I support but what I don’t like is that he’s using Ray in this messy ass revenge he’s got going on. Again, not defending Ray cause I know damn well he knows he’s being used. He knows Mew is hurting and is using him as a rebound. I don’t think it’s okay to use anyone in any matter the way Mew is using Ray. For the story, it makes sense and I guess the choices they’re making in the writers room will eventually make sense as we continue watching but for right now I stand by my feelings towards Mew & I don’t like him at all. There’s something very fishy about him. I feel he makes himself seem like this sweet innocent kid but in reality he’s as evil & toxic as his friends. Maybe he’ll grow on me later? Idk I liked him last episode this episode, not so much.

Top & Boston. I’ll do these two in one. Okay, Top is shining now. He’s trying. However, i still don’t feel anything towards his character. The love he has for Mew is clear now, I guess he really is serious about him. It was nice to see him being caring towards him but I’m still eh. Boston on the other hand, im warming up to. He’s funny. He is probably the only character besides Sand that is so real & gives no fucks. He literally is so chill and unbothered by everything. He made me laugh so much this episode and I’m starting to love him cause he never fakes who he is. Boston is Boston and I’m loving him for being himself regardless of anything.

Nick, he really is so lost. My boy is just obsessed. It’s sad in my opinion. I still like him for some reason and I think that reason is because Mark is too adorable to hate. I don’t condone his stalker ass tho lol from the start I’ve said he’s creepy for have gone after Boston the way he did but hey it worked for him. I just want him to move on, tho it’s clear he’s very much in love with Boston and maybe Boston is feeling something towards him as well? I gotta admit that scene of him at the bar was super cute. But they’ll be toxic together given Nick’s spying kink and Boston’s “I can’t stick to just one person” but there’s potential I guess.

I’m very biased I know, Sandray….

Ugh, what to say? Ray is an idiot. Like I said he’s getting on my last nerve. Not only is he all kinds of fucked up but to have the audacity to cock block Sand from moving on is actually gross. The satisfaction I felt when Sand told him he wasn’t his second option and shoved his ass onto that couch?! Ughhh love! I fucking clapped and cheered. That’s what I need from Sand. As much as I love FirstKhao, Sandray is not my go to no more. Sand deserves so much better but he ain’t safe either i have shit for him too! Not him running back to Ray next episode! Face palm! Sand cmon man you’re stronger than that!! I will admit Sand is my favorite character, as if I haven’t mentioned that previously lol but yes I will stick up for him but this episode him going to safe Ray’s ass yet again got screaming at my screen “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!” And next week’s episode put the cherry on top to my disappointment lol however, despite that whole party interaction, That sandray scene at the very beginning of the episode is also my favorite sandray scene thus far. The smoothness and calmness of it ? Beautiful. First & Khao are so talented. I felt Sand’s pain and First’s pain for sand. I also felt Ray’s disappointment to Sand learning to let him go. The writing in that scene is what i hope to write in the future as a screenwriter. These situations are what inspires me. Big props to P’Jojo for that beautiful scene and the crew for beautifully transferring it on screen.

Little note: sandnick’s friendship needs protection at all costs!

Next week’s promo: im ready for that daddy Dan & Nick dynamic… oh lord! But… Dan seems kind of sus ngl. Boston… back to making bad decisions but that’s what makes him Boston and i can no longer hate him for it lol Top forcing himself back into Mew’s life, yikes. Sandray get away? It’ll end in pain again, i already know it. I’m not getting my hopes up at all fuck that. They can give us hopes and then they just take it away. I also feel it won’t be real? I have a sense that it’s more of a dream sequence? But maybe not. Idk it seems too good to be true, but at least we get the “now that you walked into my life, I’m not letting you go” scene!!! That song they used for them: broke back mountain reference for sure you can’t tell me otherwise. I’m very anxious for next week & i have zero patience.

1. Could be a lot of characters really but I guess the main two are both good candidates here

though of course everyone's interpretations are gonna be different and headcanons influence that a lot too!

I think a lot of people tend to write off the depth of these two though, and not necessarily on purpose...

A lot of people think of Moon as being the sweet type who's secretly scary when mad and super strong blablabla but...like

she wasn't able to stand up to her own brother until it was too late...She's a very passive person. She kept trying passive means of getting him to stop until she finally forced a communication that just resulted in him getting mad at her and blaming her for ruining everything...as an admin over Pebbles she realistically had the power to try to stop things much sooner or more forcefully

but she just isn't really a forceful person...she isn't secretly really powerful and strong and someone you shouldn't mess with...she's just tired and sad and irritable and frustrated and hurt but trying her best to be happy and live as well as she can

She tries really hard to be kind and good and fair and do her job properly and be helpful...

And maybe that's good enough, idk...it makes me feel better at least

That maybe you don't have to be secretly really strong or whatever for people to take you seriously and respect you. Maybe it's okay to be weak and kind. idk

And Pebbles...he has a lot of remorse for his actions. The guilt is literally eating him up from the inside. He's not just mean and angry and hates everyone!!!! He just is incapable of asking for help. He's too prideful. But he's prideful in the sense that he cannot stand anyone looking down on him or pitying him...and he can't admit he was wrong. So he just kinda gives up. He resigns himself to his fate without even trying to reach out to his local group again and apologize...

He is clearly very pained thinking about what he's done. Even in arti's timeline, he remarks he hopes that [the rot] won't spread to moon. He's generally concerned about how she is doing, but he doesn't have the courage to ask. He's very scared, I think. He tends to internalize things and withdraw into himself. It makes the rot really fitting lol...

By the time he is able to accept asking you for help, his structure has started collapsing. It takes him a REEAAALLLY long time to overcome that flaw of his.

But I also really don't like the idea that he's some helpless little baby or whatever...it kinda diminishes the inner turmoil he is experiencing and the weight of his guilt. He did this. He hurt himself and his sister. He damaged things irreparably. To try and absolve him of his sins rubs me the wrong way. Pebbles is such a great character because he is flawed. Because he is not a good person. Because he does bad things and hurts others. Because that's how real people act. The exploration of his feelings of guilt and how he represses his emotions to try and cope with them would be far less interesting had he not done something substantial enough to warrant this sort of reaction...

So please don't try and take his agency away!

Of course I havent played saint yet (though ive read somewhat about it) and I can't always remember all the dialogues off the top of my head so take it with a grain of salt haha...

everyone will have different headcanons and views and stuff though haha once again...

Something to tie you over!

- whenever bored games get played with Vinnie around he never understands how to play even the simplest games out there BUT somehow every great while he wins out of pure luck it drives Russell (mr follows the rules crazy)

- Vinnie always looks good in photos even if he doesn’t know a picture is being taken he could have just woken up looks good he could be talking looks perfect sleeping looks adorable Zoe can’t figure out how he does it she says she has never seen a bad photo of him ever

- he LOVES pancakes idk why it’s just something I always see him enjoying they are soft,fluffy and sweet and his all time favorite thing he craves besides mangos he gets so excited and does a little happy dance in his seat when the pancakes are sat in front of him he has to have a limit though because he’ll keep eating till he pukes

- I feel like he would be able to touch his tongue to his nose and show it off whenever asked if he has and “special skills”

- he would have tattoos but they would each have meaning to him each and every one so if asked he could talk about them with pride!

- he copy’s anyone he’s around just out of habit or maybe because he wants to fit in or mimic his friends let me explain- for example in the episode where Mrs twombly was doing the DNA test and Sunil was mad Vinnie started to copy him by crossing his arms too after seeing Sunil do it- I feel like he would copy his friends because doesn’t understand what’s going on in general but others do so coping them is what works best if that makes sense

- whenever he’s really upset Sunil is the only person Vinnie will open up to because he’s the only one who knows how to since they are so close and he knows him so well it’s like second nature to know what Vinnie needs something everyone else can’t do for him

- he zones out so often that he’s missed parts of conversations and while watching tv so he gets lost at what’s happening with a lot of things it’s also something he does when he gets bored or wants to not listen to someone on purpose he’s gotten to good at doing it though and doesn’t realize how often he starts to do it a habit he’s trying to break because he’s tired of the lectures from others about paying more attention to things

- he hasn’t found a wine he’s liked yet but is still willing to keep trying different ones! beer though and hard liquors are alright he is more of a soda guy after all lol

- I have to add this in here because it makes me happy if Vinnie met Russell in another universe (the little hedgehog version)he’d immediately fall in love and hold him and repeat the words “baby rusty” “baby rusty” “baby rusty” over and over he’d feed him snacks and stop anyone else from taking him from his grip because he wants to be with him (according to Vinnie)so they’d have to eventually take him and give him back to Blythe while Vinnie tries to scream and take him back from her

- if you send Vinnie on a mission for something he’ll do whatever it takes to complete it because he’s determined until he gets distracted and he forgets what it was he was doing R: “Vinnie,where are you?” “I sent you to the store an hour ago” V: “oh yeah! Now I remember I was getting milk!” “Im at the mall!” R: “……”

- I feel like he would just have so many random facts in his head and they are super random so it’s anyone’s guess as to what he really knows and when it’s going to come out of his mouth

- he’s a piker and not in the way you’d think lol he sees a pimple it must be gone he’s got a healing wound from falling it must be gone a stray hair nope can’t be there Zoe tell me him that what he does will leave scars and that sticks in the back of his mind but he can’t help it and does it anyway

- he gets so dirty so fast to the point that he has spare clothes at the ready Just in case because it happens so often paints with minka dirty, it rains he’s muddy, eats it’s all over for him

- I feel like he would sometimes shave his legs or armpits because he likes how soft he feels and tells everyone to feel him when he does it

- being scratched is almost as good as being cuddled especially on his back it’s his other form of comfort it’s the one of his ultimate forms of touch and he lives for it

- he doesn’t like being in wet clothes they stick to him and are super uncomfortable so he whines about it when it rarely happens like when pepper pushed him into a pool or when it rained super hard or when he fell at the beach in the water just walking to close to the water he hadn’t changed into his swimsuit and he freaked out about it

- he believes in lucky objects like if he finds a penny or a four leaf clover. he thinks he’ll have luck the whole rest of the day holding either one

- sunil’s parents ask about Vinnie during video calls with Sunil. They check up on him because they’ve gotten just as attached as Sunil has and treat him like a second son. Vinnie loves it though and blushes/smiles when they compliment him in anyway because parent approval is something Vinnie longs for so badly…

- Vinnie doesn’t understand gossip when the girls talk about it. so they freely talk in front of him he gets so lost on who is who and they tell him not to worry about it. he’s tried to ask the other guys why girls do it but they had to break it to him that everyone does it and it’s mostly harmless. well safe to say he did try it himself and ended up accidentally telling madam Pom that Zoe waxes her mustache.. luckily madam Pom is a good friend and explained to him his wrong doing and how it works.They both agreed to keep what he had said a secret in exchange of Vinnie never trying to gossip again lol

yes exactly, he sometimes wins by pure luck and without a bit of trying. And of course it drives Russell crazy the most, I mean he follows the rules, actually thinks of strategies, learns from previous mistakes, all that stuff, but then there's Vinnie, who does the exact opposite and still ends up winning sometimes lololo and Russell is just at wits' end

this one actually made me verbally "awww", especially that sleeping part. Of course he looks adorable :3. And Zoe lmao, she's like Russell from the previous headcanon, because of course looking good in pictures is important to her and she tries her absolute best to look good in pictures and still sometimes deletes those pictures because "they're not good enough". And then there's Vinnie who gives absolutely zero fucks about something like that but somehow always ends up looking good ✨. And wait, idea for a follow-up headcanon! Zoe ends up having almost suspiciously big number of pictures of Vinnie on her phone because she tries to get a bad picture of him but just CaN't. "Zoe, why do you have like 200 pictures of Vinnie sleeping?" "Darling, shhh, it's not important."

yes yes, and touch his elbow with it too. I mean, it's pretty reasonable to headcanon that or rather just headcanon him with a longer than average tongue since you know, lizards have long tongues and all that. But yes, this is my headcanon also. He can just do a lot of unusual things with his body

not only would he talk about them with pride, but he would show them off (sometimes even without being asked lol). And if they're on his arms then it's whatever, but imagine they're on his idk, chest or legs. And then he just starts removing his pants unasked. "Woah, woah, woah, what the hell are you doing? Stop taking off your pants in public!" "What? No no listen, I just have tattoos here, you need to see." Now that makes me also wonder if you have any specific ideas of exactly what tattoos he might have and what they mean.

ok ok yes, it makes sense, and he really does sometimes copies others, doesn't he? My favorite reason for him to do so is to fit in or because he thinks others are probably right so it's easier to just copy whatever they do. But also because he wants to be as similar to them as possible because they're the best and know better than he does. So yeah, he copies others to be more likeable to others (Tbh, according to psychology copying others' mannerisms does make them like you sooo.)

nawww, yes, I mean, it makes sense. And Sunil is just the only one allowed to know especially when he's sad, maybe really sad. I'd imagine that Sunil aside from different things also brings him snacks because he knows that Vinnie stress-eats and it helps him a bit. Though my Vinnie just does not open up to anyone because damn he does not deserve it, the little whiner

Ok, hear me out because I literally have the same headcanon, yes, he zones out a lot. But this one is honestly kinda canon-related? I mean the whole The Very Littlest Pet Shop episode was literally made in Vinnie's head like huh?? Well, not whole but most of it. Did you see how hard he zoned out? So yeah. My favorite part of this headcanon is probably that he just does that not to listen to somebody lmao. I mean, this is such a bastard move and I love it, "Yeah, I don't really wanna listen to this guy but walking off would be rude sooo," and then he completely zones out. I imagine he zones out a lot more when he's very sad, so he doesn't have to face the reality, he just puff! Not mentally there suddenly. However, I'd imagine others often catch up because they'd stop talking and wait for his reply and he's just standing there's motionlessly with gaze not exactly on them. And saying his name doesn't work either in those situations. Like you have to actually slap him sometimes in order for him to come back to reality. Once he does, he's completely bamboozled though because he has no idea what's been happening the last minutes. Also, because I have way too fitting clip I will link it here, because that's what it would probably look like

And while Vinnie's holding Russell he's all love and fluff: 🥰💕💖💗 but as soon as someone tries to take him away he hisses and is the exact opposite: 💀☠️🔥⛏️, he is NOT giving Russell back, he's his! He'll take him home and give him the best place to live possible, damn it!

oh yes, listen, being determined as hell is one of his defining characteristics for me at least, so if you give him a task he WILL do it. Kinda like with that always keeping secrets headcanon, he will keep it no matter what. Oh, but what was bro doing in that mall until Russell called then 😭. Just walking around aimlessly while completely zoned out I imagine. And yeah, if you consider that theadcanon with the headcanon that he often zones out it's not so surprising that he forgot what he was doing, is it?

ok, but I imagine he forgot the spare clothes a few times and then had to borrow clothes. And he loves borrowing clothes from his friends. Maybe a few times he even "forgot" on purpose, just so someone will give him theirs, like in that painting with Minka case. That also made me think... what if one day he didn't change the clothes and he was all over in red paint. And after that someone saw him just walking around like that, let's say Penny, and she's like "...Vinnie, um, why are you covered in... blood like that?" "Huh? Oh no, lmao, it's just paint, red paint." But she still drags him into her house so he can actually look decent because holy shit that does not look good as it is now

yes, exactly! Me and you truly think the same about him sometimes. He would. He'd shave his legs and as soon as he sees any or all of his friends the first thing he does is show off his now hairless leg proudly and they are just like "ok?" not understanding how that's special but he just insists they should touch that leg. Some... are more willing than others. Minka is very willing for example, hell yeah give her this smooth smooth leg to touch. It's not every day after all that she gets to touch someone else's leg like that, let alone Vinnie's because most of the time he doesn't care about body hair especially on legs and just lets it grow

this this this omg, you know already how much I love this one. Yes, yeeeesh, he loves back scratchies. He just absolutely melts because it feel so good and will do basically anything if you give him a good back scratch, the longer the better. Literally, he doesn't mind it going on for hours if possible, rad marks on his back after that be damned. He also likes that because he has more back pain than he cares to admit. So yeah, he just melts and tries to make it go on as long as possible. And being scratched by more than one person? Oh goodness, he might actually kill just to get it

to be honest, who likes being in wet clothes ahaha. Vinnie doesn't, that's for sure. And Pepper is such a certified pool thrower, she absolutely does that. Especially with Vinnie bc she knows that he won't actually be mad (for too long) and also just because it's easy to push his small ass into a pool or anything else. Also, that beach part, I can't help but imagine him just falling fully face flat but then he's so unhappy that he's all wet that he just lies there for a moment wondering why has God forsaken him

ah this, I love Sunil's parents basically being Vinnie's parents too because he pretty much does not have ones. This is just such a good headcanon for me argh, I love it. I mean, someone has to ensure Vinnie is still sane, someone who will also be parental with him. Yes, he's basically their second son and he loves it, he loves them so much and is so happy to see them. Video calls are one thing, but he's so happy when they visit in person and practically bounces in anticipation
