Tickets are on sale today for the King of Prism virtual live "tour" with SePTENTRION, Link World!

Apparently, every single show will have a different set list and different emcees, justifying the "tour"! (They will be in Kanagawa, Aomori, Shizuoka, and Tokyo. Supposedly.) The Christmas one will feature all the songs and take place on a special (probably Christmas-themed) stage.

It is a totally virtual live, but it is... region-locked.

Which is baffling to me. I mean yeah, it's Avex. But they did not region lock the PriPara or PriChan lives? (And King of Prism SSS does have an official English release unlike Idol Land PriPara?)

Also, as usual, there are regular viewing tickets and special tickets. The special tickets come with a lot of bonus videos, which is still a lot for 4,800 yen vs. 1,800 yen. I was going to comment about it not being worth it until I also noticed you cannot watch the archive with a regular viewing ticket. It's for live viewing only.

Wow Avex, wow.

Still, I begrudgingly switched my VPN over to Japan and bought a special ticket for Day 1. I'm hoping for the best. I have been wanting a virtual live for a long time and King of Prism rarely disappoints me. (It's just... Avex.......)

there could also be something said that ichijo shins birthday is also on feb 29th and the whole shin/shine amari/mario thing but i do have to work within the text of pripara itself and only pripara if i want any theory to hold weight.

but speaking of things that are in the text in that episode in the scene before the guitar montage janice has to hold gaarara back from going to the real world to help shuka because a 'spirit of time' (those were janice's exact words, 時の精霊) cant go out there.

also in the first episode how they lampshade the fact that laala's still in sixth grade. and its like haha get it because cartoon characters dont get to age unless we say they do laalas been a sixth grader for years and years. but also in that same episode there is that same flashback scene of amari as a small child watching, again, shuka specifically.

Midorima could not believe what was happening. Today he had a match against Senshinkan, and his lucky item of the day had to be the worst pick Oh Asa ever created. A grinder, which unfortunately was only available in the bad parts of town. He did not know if he should ask you on the subject, but he didn't wanted to admit to you that shopping in your region of Tokyo made him nervous. He did not want to appear as a coward before you. Which made him all the more surprised to see you and Ichijo wait for him nearby the entrance of the stadium. He hastily excused him from his team mates and jogged up to you. "Y/n?" He asked surprised and you grinned. "We figured you might need help with your lucky item," you said, eyeing him knowingly. Ichijo reached into the pocket of his old looking leather jacket and fished out a blue grinder with cute white bunnies plastered all over them. "You can borrow mine for today." Midorima looked at him, not knowing quite what to say to the messy haired blonde. He was grateful, and a little surprised Ichijo had picked such an adorable design for himself. After a slight awkward pauze, Midorima thanked Ichijo. "No problem. A friend of Y/n-chan is a friend of mine." You chuckled at that, feeling happy your best friend and your boyfriend were slowly getting along. You were glad Midorima wasn't the toxic kind of guy who'd make you say goodbye to your male friends out of some weird jealous streak. Midorima looked at him and then at you. "If you want to stay for the match, that would be fine by me nandayo." "Really?" You asked, as you were still rather light footed on publically declaring you were an item but Midorima nodded. "We'll be cheering for you mate, but I know you're good enough to win." Ichijo stated, knowing of Midorima's reputation as a member of the GOM. Midorima nodded. "I am really grateful that the two of you have come, but now a need to change nandayo." The two of you waved Midorima off before going inside to the are reserved for Shutoku students.

Midorima had won, obviously. You and Ichijo were waiting outside for Midorima, when a bunch of Shutoku supportes approached you. "Hey, isn't that the pathetic junkie?" One of them sneered at Ichijo. You took a deep breath, tugging your friend's sleeve and trying to leave before things would escalate. If there was one thing growing up in the region you did taught you something, it's to ignore and get away from the situation as fast as possible because else you could get beaten up, or worse. Keep to yourself, and don't mind anyone else's businness. It's the golden survival rule. But these jerks just continued to shout after you, just as Midorima and Takao left the locker room. Midorima eyed the supporters with distaste. "Harassing others is pitiful behavior, nandayo." He scolded. "Well I think it's pitiful a star like you would lower yourself to the level of conpensated dating," the rudest of the three stated, eyeing Midorima with disillusionment. Your mouth dropped. Sometimes, the willingness of other people to perceive you as a whore just based on your background still shocked you. Takao came to your and Midorima's defense as he grabbed the dude by his collar. "Just what did you say about Shin-Chan?" Midorima and Ichijo quickly pulled him backwards, but their eyes were equally as furious. "Guys, let's go for a celebratory dinner," you pleaded as you didn't wanted to cause them trouble. Midorima scoffed and the four of you left into the cold Tokyo air.

...That is... Tsukishima, if he's killed, will [things/it] go back to normal/before...!?

This is such a bizarre moment that gets kind of just totally glossed over... Not just in thing arc but just in the broader development of Ichigo's character...

Ichigo has basically never killed anyone. Not just like a living human, he legitimately hasn't even killed any of his enemies, not really, not in a way the morally or consciously matters. Kubo chickened out and had "Ichigo" kill Ulquiorra in full hollow form in an uncontrolled, unconscious, and otherwise blind rage, and that's the ONLY one that even comes close to counting until we finally get to YHWACH at the end, but even he technically survived to be defeated(?) by Kazui in the epilogue. (They also never actually addressed how "killing" an arrancar with a zanpakutou works... so if they also purify just like normal hollows, then of all the things Ichigo has deliberately hit with a sword til it stopped hitting back... I think Shrieker might be the closest thing to an actual kill? I don't believe i forgot, while in the middle of reading this, that Ginjo dies at the end here; so Ginjo, and yet not Tsukishima, is Ichigo's one legit kill in the entire series.)

So, we know Ichigo's WHOLE thing in the manga is protecting people even to the point of detriment --both theirs and his--- so this moment where the people he wants to protect have been turned against him, and specifically and explicitly with a singular person to blame... The fact that Ichigo is so at a loss as to what to do with himself that he's immediately ready and willing to just MURDER a mostly normal flesh and blood human being if it means he gets to go back to being the good guy instead of being treated like the bad guy by all his friends and family... it's dark... Ichigo's literally offering to be the villain if it means he doesn't have to be the villain...

In a really almost beautifully poetic kind of irony, Tsukishima really did mange to turn everyone's alignment backwards with his powers, even Ichigo's, and without having to actually use his powers on him directly... Shame we just shuffled along into this marathon of fights and this critical character moment was never actually addressed or resolved at all...

I used "killing" here to mirror the use of it in the previous scene, because the root of that verb was korosu[殺す] but on this second panel, koroshi[殺し] isn't a verb, it's a noun, and "[a] killing" technically works, but it's pretty clunky.. more commonly it's just translated as "[a] murder."
