Super Chilly’s only overseers!!! Note: Chilly was never intended to be an iterator and as such originally didn’t have any overseers at all. These overseers help Chilly out when they need their digital version to be projected onto walls n stuff

the first is Slushy (it/its, he/him), who was custom-made by a friend of Super Chilly. He tends to get a bit too close to danger and also likes to ride on the backs of large creatures.

the 2nd and 3rd images are of Icee (it/its, she/her); the 2nd image is her original appearance, and the 3rd is what she looks like now. Originally Icee belonged to No Dark Opposite, but SC killed it and then got the overseer eye repaired. Icee is very confused bc “huh??? I was made for NDO but now I belong to SC???? am very confuseded”

AND for a lil bit of context, I think that overseers are autonomous and have personalities of their own, although they aren’t very smart or super self-aware. for the most part they know to do the following: watch unusual things, listen to their iterator’s instructions, and avoid danger. Still, that leaves room for individual personality stuff and I think that’s fun :]

seoul city lights lit the wet cement under your feet, finding beauty in the way it reflected the buildings like a mirror. the scent of rain flooded your senses with every deep breath in, entranced with the gentle pitter-patter on the umbrella overhead.

"bin we're gonna be late!" you giggled, hugging your boyfriend tightly under the umbrella you shared, having to hold it a bit lower to his head with how much taller he was than you. you stood on your tiptoes, kissing the tip of his nose when he faced you, cold and red from the chilly breeze.

the corners of his lips curled upward, eyes nearly closing with a big smile as a giggle escaping his lips; the sight and sound you so loved, making your heart bloom every single time.

arriving at the theatre, soobin held the door for you, sliding the umbrella closed and tucking it under his arm. the warm, popcorn scented air brought nostalgia to you at an instant, wanting to hop around like you were a little kid again.

he found your excitement adorable, taking his phone out on the sly and capturing a few candid photos of you with your hands full with popcorn, candy, an icee; everything you wanted.

you situated yourselves in the cushiony loveseat, soobin's long arm immediately wrapping around your shoulder, bringing you close to his side. of course, it was natural by now, but your heart still beat like it was your first date. the scent of his fresh hoodie, the warmth of his chest against your cheek. he was your home.

enjoying the movie you'd been waiting to see for months alongside soobin was the perfect way to start off your night together; looking up at him when he laughed at something funny on the screen, feeling his laughter vibrate through his chest and immediately rubbing off on you like a happy pill.

when he caught you looking at him he'd smile down at you, leaning down to press his lips to yours for a quick peck. or two. or three.

The first 5 minutes are spent playing rock paper scissors on who gets to drive. The car definitely has old CDs scattered around. Probably some fuzzy dice hanging from the rear-view mirror because Aurora thought it was funny.

Dewdrop does the thing of sticking his hand out the window and playing with the wind as you drive.

He grabs like, an armful of energy drinks at the store. He can drink amounts of caffeine that would kill a human. The cashier looks horrified.

Rain definitely guzzles the icee machine and tries to goad you into doing the same.

They throw stuff at each other over the aisles whenever the employees aren't looking.

[--stuff they are buying. They do not leave a mess. Don't worry. Sorry if your candy is slightly crushed from the battle.]

Ghouls are weirdly fascinated by the roller grills, like cats watching something that interests them. You have to prod them and tell them to pick their hot foods to shake them out of it.

Dew will refuse help if he can't reach something and insists on climbing shelves.

He will happily lift you if you can't reach something, though. Ghoul strength and all that.

Rain remembers each candy that everyone prefers and asks for your preferences too. He plays with you by overloading your arms with snacks and continuing to add things as you try to juggle it all until you start laughing.

"Oh, this too, and this, and--"

Eventually Dew sits on the back of the car to have a smoke while you and Rain finish up and refill the gas tank.

Overall a successful trip, although the cashier asks to go home early, after swearing to their manager that they definitely saw a tail on one of those men that were just in.

You buried your face in your blankets, listening to the quiet patter of rain against your window and the slow crackle of wood from your dimly lit wood-wick candle. You checked your pretty pink alarm clock, mentally groaning at the time. It was already 10:27, and you still couldn't find it in you to get some sleep. It wasn't like it was a school day or anything, but you wanted to somewhat fix your sleep schedule so you wouldn't complain about feeling tired 24/7. You huffed as you rolled over, suffocating yourself in your mattress as you thought about food.

Warm and flavorful instant ramen, sweet sugary Oreos, and a nice cold cherry and cola-flavored Icee. Well fuck, now you were just drooling on your pillow. So what did you do? You flipped over on your bed, snatching your phone from off its charging pad, and texted your loving boyfriend! You tapped away on your screen, fumbling with the buttons to unlock your lock screen. "hey pavi!!"

"HIIIII ML<33 What's up?" he responded nearly immediately.

"HEYYYYY!!! nth I just wanted to see if you wanted to get icee's w me" you replied immediately.

"Icee? What's that?"

"Be at my house in 10 minutes bru cuz ain't no way."

You giggled, quickly putting on a light sweatshirt over your tank top so you could actually walk to the store. You scooped your box braids out of the back of your hoodie, moving them in front of your shoulders so they weren't tickling the back of your neck and shoulders. You rubbed your eyes, suddenly feeling that drowsiness kick in as soon as you went to walk downstairs. "See. this that bullshit" You muttered in annoyance, still fully set on walking to the nearby 7/11. You sat on the couch for a couple of minutes, playing Candy Crush on your phone as you waited for the familiar rhythmic knock on the door.

You jogged to the doorway, grabbing your keys and slipping on your black Doc Martens before swinging open your front door. You were met with a smiling Pavitr, umbrella in hand, and aura radiating pure bliss. "How did you even get here so fast? Don't you literally live a whole city away?" you asked, tilting your head in confusion as you made your way out of the house, locking the door behind you. Pav quickly angeled the umbrella over you, laughing quietly with a 'damn' expression graced across his features. "I caught a taxi! And then I ran the rest of the way!" he nodded, quickly intertwining your hand with his as you led the way to the mini-mart.

You nodded slowly, pushing the thought to the back of your mind and skipping along the sidewalk, kicking up rainwater and making small splashes in the small puddles across the concrete. "I still can't believe you've never had an Icee before!" you whisper-shouted, giggling at the end of your sentence as you tugged Pavitr's hand along with you slightly. "Is it really that surprising?" He giggled, pulling you closer under the umbrella and resting his chin on your shoulder. "I don't really go to convenience stores, so I've just never come across an Icee!" he explained with a small shrug. "This it right here," you said as you pointed towards the fluorescent white 7/11, squinting at its brightness before making your way into the establishment.

You made your way down the snacks aisle, telling Pav to go grab some snacks so you could pay for them after you got your slushies. You grabbed a cup of shin ramen, double stuff Oreos, and sour gummy worms before locating Pav in the candy aisle, bearing a pack of gum, a peach tea, and a big bag of Tommy's topical gummy bears. "You ready? Aight, c'mon let's go get these slushies" you beamed, eagerly gliding towards the beautiful rainbow machine. There were about 5 flavors; Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Coca-Cola, dragonfruit Fanta, and Piña Colada. "Alright, I don't think I need to show you? But you know how to pour these right?" You asked as you grabbed a large cup, jamming the spherical lid on top of the rim and examining your options carefully.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I got it! What flavor are you getting?" He asked as he repeated the process of plucking a cup from its holder and jamming on the lid. You thought for a moment, before lining up your cup with the cherry dispenser, "Ima get cherry and cola...So I can get cherry cola" you replied shortly after. "What are you gonna get love?" You asked as you turned the lever, watching your cup fill with that bright red sugary sweetness. "I wanna get all of them...but I think I'll do Blue Raspberry and cherry," Pav shrugged as he poured the blue slushie into his cup. You swapped places after a couple seconds, giggling as you drank some slushie straight from the spout.

"You're gonna get us in trouble!" Pav whisper-shouted in between giggles as you wiped your mouth clean with the back of your hand. You widened your eyes slightly as you grinned, mouthing a silent "shh!" as you continued to fill your cup. When you finally finished overloading your slushies, you went to the counter and paid for everything like the amazing girlfriend that you are! You both wasted zero time in gulping down the slushies, immediately wincing at the newfound pain in your skull.

"FUCK! BRAINFREEZE!"

Paige woke up super early this morning (like 6am) and made muffins, and then woke me up at 7 to see the snow! it was really coming down, big heavy snowflakes and such. we got Peyton up at 7:30ish and dressed for our outside snow-playing escapades. Paige didn't stay outside for long, but Peyton and I met one of the neighborhood kids and his mom - she was working from home but said he could play with us, so he had a turn on the sled, we had a snowball fight, made snow angels, and we built two different snowmen. a few of the other neighbors poked their heads out and said hi, and one of them introduced herself from her front porch, but I promptly forgot her and her husband's names as soon as she said them. neighbor kid also came over for some hot cocoa, he met Peggy and saw our video games and we talked about Fortnite, Peyton let him play a round on the PS5 and that kid is FAST at building shit, he even went in and adjusted some of Peyton's settings with lighting speed. we walked him home and did one more ride on the sled before giving up on playing in the snow around 9:45, which is when it started turning into freezing rain rather than fluffy snow

unfortunately we didn't collect the snow when it was fresh so snow-cream was out of the question, but I did make a snow icee with a cup full of snow and some Dr pepper. Paige went upstairs to take a nap when the kid was still over, Peyton and I played our respective Christmas video games for a bit before we decided it was also naptime. we all woke up around 2:30 and lazed about some more (I played on that webpage that's the overstimulation simulator and that shit made my phone WARM) but were finally stirred to action after dark by a drip from the ceiling of the den

we tried prying up the cedar board to track down the source but that didn't work very well, so we took our best guess as to the source of the leak on the deck and Peyton slathered on some of the wet patch that Karilyn left here. not an easy task, but it has significantly slowed the drip, although it hasn't completely stopped yet. Paige made an amazing beef stew for dinner, and now it is time to continue to laze and game until bedtime. tomorrow will be a productive day, especially since we won't be able to use Peyton's dad's birthday as an excuse to leave the house, since the winter storm means we will be trapped at the house tomorrow. my goals are to unpack my closet, unpack my Tamora Pierce books, and at least screw the drywall patches back into the ceiling of the garage, even if I don't cover the edges yet
