I think the reason Anthony calling Ian the sun just hits different is because for the last 6 years, it's become a bit for Ian to be portrayed as this sad and depressed guy (it's even briefly mentioned in the smoshcast), but then the second Anthony is back he absolutely did not get the memo and is all "Ian is the sun 😄" and "Ian is just so creative 😄" and "Ian inspires me 😄" and it's such a breath of fresh air, especially to people like me who watched Smosh during its peak, who watched Smosh Pit back when it was Smosh 2nd Channel (or even IanH), who had a small glimpse into Ian and Anthony's friendship before it fell apart. Ian was known as "the funny one" because he was always cracking jokes and being goofy, and there used to be so many compilation vids of Anthony laughing off camera because of something Ian said or did. That's the friend that Anthony remembers, the one he rekindled his relationship with, who caused him to literally roll on the floor laughing. I truly don't think I've ever been this happy for people I don't know, and I don't have the words to express how happy I am for them that they were able to reconnect after so long.

3. What's your favorite channel between main/pit/games?

Surprisingly enough, this is a very hard question. My heart lies with the main channel, but we get to know the people better on the other channels (especially Pit), which is tremendously important to me when watching Youtube. Even the really old content on Pit when it was still IanH was at times more dear to me than main. But now Main has all the stuff that makes me become really annoying once a week so idk. I'd love to have this be a tie between Pit and Main 😭 If I have to decide then probably Pit, but only with the thought in mind that several shows will go to that channel in the future. I just really only can love Youtube content if I get to know the creators a lil bit better.

4. Who is your favorite castmember?

Ian. Apart from Ian? Anthony. Apart from Ian & Anthony? Uh. Courtney. But Amanda, Angela and Chanse are climbing the ladder fast y'all . I love them all though T_T. And I miss Jacky sooo much T_T

The queen had stood by the window for a while by now, pondering over the letter in her hands with crinkled eyebrows and staring out at the balcony as though it had personally offended her. The afternoon sun was beating down on the marble in a blinding fashion, so Endres didn’t like to watch his sister for an excessive amount of time and instead dedicated his attention again to the foreword the medical scholars had asked him to write. They remained like this for a few minutes of silence until Malika turned around with a sigh and observed the prince’s writing.

“It is no use,” she said, obviously still unsatisfied with the content of the letter, “I hope you don’t mind a short vacation to Chunnan to clear up this mess.”

“Chunnan?!”

It wasn’t like Endres explicitly disliked that town but there was only so much religious zealots he could bear. Malika scoffed.

“You know that the royal family couldn’t participate in the Ianh Te for almost a decade by now. They are becoming impatient without the blessing.”

“Cousin Seto is younger than I and much more suitable.”

Endres hadn’t really seen the boy since after the latter’s naming ceremony but he knew that Master Riwang always seemed very fond of the youth. If he remembered correctly he was about sixteen by now and probably would be excited to travel to the Eastern provinces.

“It is not like you are too old either. Take Cousin Seto as your company if you will, he is an intelligent boy so it will compensate for Ardseong not coming with you. I need him to take care of something else.”

Now it was Endres’ time to frown. He at least had hoped to drag Caspar with him into the nuisance that was Ianh Te but apparently his sister denied him that specific pleasure. The more embarrassing thing, he just realised, was that Malika immediately knew Endres would choose him over anyone else. If it was this obvious to his sister already, he should seriously make his favouritism less obvious.

“I will propose Your Majesty’s suggestion to his family,” Endres said, pulling out a new piece of paper to start the letter, the queen nodding in satisfaction.

January Debate

Well everybody sounded exhausted. Guess nobody had a restful holiday.

As always, my vote isn’t decided yet (and won’t be til after at least I see the ianh results), but here’s my thoughts on this debate:

Liz is still the person most clearly targeting my vote. She does seem kinda over this whole thing, though, so I wouldn’t be shocked if she drops out after ianh

When Pete is pissed off he sounds like me. Not sure if I’m a fan of that

Bernie seems to be on a completely different train from everybody else

Joe was stumbly but I doubt it’ll hurt his poll numbers since nothing was truly gaffacious

Amy seems exhausted. Also lots of overtalking

Tom won’t stop staring into the camera!!! stop it!!!! so creepy!!!!!!!!

oh also, in last place by far were these HORRENDOUS moderators. fuckin AWFUL, especially the high school debater from the Des Moines register, and Wolf Blitzer who I thought has been atrocious since 2003
