Ian: I thought Mom said there was going to be another cousin here?
Shu: Well, his mom's here, so he should be, too...
Micah: H-Hey, I'm right here! *sticks hand out from behind the pillar next to them* There's a lot of people here...
Shu: Mickey, you know you can't hide behind things while you're going for Champion, right?
Micah: Shut up or I'll beat you!
Shu: With what Pokemon?
Micah: Who said anything about Pokemon?
Ian, hurrying around the pillar: Hi, I'm Ian!
Micah, trying to run away: A child!
#pei rambles about pokemon#so I've decided my Violet trainer will be named Micah. but he's also called Mickey and Mika.#he's kind of a coin flip. he's either aggressive and cocky or really timid. not much for crowds#he's the only one whose only goal is becoming champion#Ian will eventually (in his 30s) realize he wants to be a Pokemon breeder#shu is basically using the publicity of the gym challenge to put his name out there before he becomes a researcher (also studying the gyms)#Micah and Shu are pretty close but Micah has never met most of the rest of the family#Micah and Shu spent summers together as kids
