a while ago on the discord i brought up the "which desk at the station is forrest's desk" question when the answer should probably have been obvious. he's been at the job for approx. one week, so it's the desk with all the unpacked boxes. it just didnt occur to me because thats Frankly A Lot Of Boxes and my first thought was this is where all the storage and junk are piled on, but no. it's all stuff forrest brought (/hc). he's a heavy packer. he spite packed all the stuff he didn't want his old job to keep even if he doesnt need or even like them all that much but now that he's blacklisted then no one in the entirety of chicago can have them

Max Parrish:

You and Max had not long finished your morning shift, when you get a message from your sister. She texted you saying "Hey babes! Would you be able to house sit while me and Mike are away? Your more than welcome to bring Max with you" You texted her that you would, and it was safe to say that Max was excited to go. Your sister had married someone who was very wealthy and Max loved visiting, especially when he was able to use the games room, the home cinema and the outside pool. You and Max got all your things ready to stay over for a week, and when you arrived, both you and Max were very happy to stay in such luxury. You were happy in your flat, but it did make a nice change to be in a lavishly spacious house. You and Max found one of the many spare bedrooms, and as you started to unpack, Max couldn't contain his excitement, jumping up and down like an excited little boy at a fair ground. "Come on babes! Don't worry about unpacking now, let's go to the games room! There's a mini arcade in there that doesn't need money!" "You can go ahead of you like Max, I'm going to go for a relax in the pool" "Alright then, I'll see you soon babes! This place is awesome!" He shouts before quickly giving you a kiss and running out of the room and back down the stairs, it didn't suprise you one bit that he'd behave like this, he loved that games room. You however had just changed into your bikini and grab a towel, heading downstairs to the outside pool. After a stressful day at work, this was just what you wanted, you grab a floating lylo out of the storage box beside the pool, and blow it up until it was just right. You popped it into the pool and got yourself nice and comfortable on it, basking in the sun for a while. You had some peace and quite for nearly a good hour, that was until you suddenly hear the sound of bare footsteps running towards you. When you look up, you see Max running towards the pool, and before you know it, he jumps into the pool and splashes you, giggling like a little boy. "(Screams!) Max!" "Ha ha ha! I got you babes!" He looks so proud of himself, but your not having any of it. You give him an angry look and climb off your lylo, and swimming right up to him, splashing him with water. It ended up being a full blown water fight, splashing eachother and you climbing on his back trying to dunk him under the water. The sounds of splashing and laughter was in the air. "You are unbelievable Parrish!" "Ahhh you love me really" "Your so annoying! Buuuut you are right" "Ha! I knew it"

Cash:

Cash had many diffrent skills, one of them was building new things for peoples homes. He wanted to try and make a really stylish pool for your back garden, it was a project he had been wanting to work on for a long time. He booked some time off work and spent most of his time at home, building this pool in the garden, and a few weeks later, he had finaly finished. When you came home after work, Cash brought you outside to show you what he had done, and you were so impressed with how well he had done. The pool was so stylish and not only that, it was very modern and was actually see through instead of a normal pool. It looked amazing and you were really excited to get in, you didnt even have to ask him, he just saw the excited look in your eyes and said "Your bikini is on the end of the bed" You gave him a kiss before running upstairs and getting changed into your bikini, by the time you had come back downstairs, Cash was just finishing tidying up his tools. "Are you coming in gorgeous?" "Just give me 10 minutes and I'll be with you" You give him a warm smile as he heads inside, and you put your towel down on a nearby garden chair, you were suprised to feel how warm the water was when you stepped inside. Once you completely got in, you swam one stretch from one end of the pool to the other, it was delightful. A few minutes later, Cash walked into the garden in just a pair or swimming shorts, his body was so toned and attractive. "Come on in babe! The water's so warm" He climbs in and swims right up to you, taking you into his arms before giving you a sweet kiss. "I love holding you agaisnt me, it's even better when your wet. Your so much softer....it gives a man ideas..." "Cash, your insatiable" "Can you blame me? It's all I can think about when your in this little bikini" "Oh this little thing? Well...if it's such a distraction....maybe I should remove it?..." "Now that, I want to see...."

Terry was so rich that at the click of his fingers, he could hire a private jet to take him anywhere in the world, which is exactly what he did when he fell in love with you. You had been with him for at least a year now, and he loved to spoil you with many treats and gifts, it was one of the many ways he showed his love. After a very stressful week at work, Terry surprised you with a trip to Italy. You were so happy he did this for you and you were more than excited, Terry drove you both to the airport and you both got onto his private jet. Since you were still tired from work, you did accidentally end up falling asleep on the way there, Terry just thought this was adorable and be moved your chair you were on into a lying down position, then he placed his jacket over you so you didn't get cold. He loved taking care of you. He woke you up gently a long time later as you had now arrived in Italy. A private car took you and Terry to his private villa and you both unpacked your things in the gorgeous bedroom. You were still feeling a little tired when you looked out onto the balcony, but Terry came and cuddled you from behind. "Why don't you get dressed into your favourite bikini? You can just relax by the pool in the sun and take all the time you need to feel more normal" "I like that idea babe, are you coming too?" "I just have to call John first, I need to check how he's doing with the dojo. I won't be to long baby girl" "Alright" He gives you a kiss on your neck before grabbing his phone and calls John. You get dressed, grab your towel and head on down to the pool, it looked absolutely lovely. Terry really did buy anything he wanted, and this pool was so posh and clearly expensive, and if he was happy buying it, there was nothing wrong with that. You put your towel over the sunbed and lie down to get nice and comfy, and for a small time you were comfortable. But it seemed that sleeping on a chair in a plane had left its mark, and there was what felt like a tight pulled muscle in your shoulder and neck. "Hey baby girl, oh what's the matter?" Terry asks as he walks over to you wearing nothing but a pair of black swimming shorts and holding a bottle of oil in his hand. "I think I slept wrong on the flight over hear, my neck and shoulder are hurting, I dont know if it's a pulled muscle or a trapped nerve?" "Aww my poor baby, well it's a good thing I've brought out some massage oil. Why don't you lie down and I'll take care of that pain your feeling" You smile warmly before you like down on your front, allowing Terry to sit beside you and put some oil onto his hands, rubbing it into his fingers too. His strong hands start to massage around your neck and upper shoulders, he applied just the right amount of pressure that's not painful but he's also being tender too. He manages to make any pain you were feeling, disappear with just a few movements from his strong fingertips, they felt like magic. Once he finished making your neck and shoulder feel better, he put some more oil on your back and started to give you a full body massage, his hands were truly magic and he made you feel so relaxed. "Hows that baby girl? Do you feel better?" "I feel sooo much better, thank you babe" "Your welcome...say...would you like to join me in the pool?" "I'd love too" He gives you his hand and you both walk into the warm water of the pool. It was delightful as you submerge yourself in the water, it also felt a little slippery from the oil Terry rubbed into your skin. That didn't stop Terry pulling you into his arms and holding you agaisnt his chest, quickly locking his lips with yours. "I love to see you like this baby girl, you look so beautiful like this" "Your gorgeous too Terry, I still cant believe you took me all the way to Italy just because I was having a bad week at work" "Its my pleasure to treat you, anything my baby girl wants, she gets" "And what if your baby girl wants you to kiss her like there's no tomorow?" i literally just need a real dresser and ill be completely set and i can properly clean in here. like. i havent washed the floors or really finished unpacking or been done tidying or moving in here in a week and staff are wholly unhelpful

the dressers they have are just too small and i need a bigger one so i can actually fit everything without filling it to the brim but somehow the only answer i get is "well how will you bring it with you when you move" and "we have dressers you can have one from us" like no? just buy me a bigger one or fucking. help me buy one. the ones they have are not big enough at all if you own anything made from thicker materials than jeans and tshirts.

also would help if they could get rid of the MASSIVE dining table i will 100% not use and do not need, the gaming chair i have absolutely no need for, or the extra chair in my room that im using to store some of my clothes. its taped on the armrests cus its old and used. get rid of it??

will be trying to move a shelf thingy and put it somewhere though so ill have real space to store clothes that isnt just on top of the desk ive been using a storage space. if only theyd get rid of the dining table so i can move the desk and have somewhere to draw

i have a couch area w like 4 seats, 5 if you count one of the chairs, along with the kitchen which has two chairs and a table. its a one/two person apartment and theres a table in the kitchen that fits two people just fine along w two couches. come on.

like its just a short period of time ill be living here, maybe a year ish since ill eventually be done w the program here and stuff. but itd still be nice if i could like. be comfortable and not need to deal with a million dumb things that should be neccessary to deal with

like there genuinely isnt enough space in here for this bullshit. the bedrooms are too small to fit the shit they put in them. my bedroom had a bed, tiny dresser, chair, actual livingroom table, one of those dumb fucking Aesthetic Hang Your Clothes Up As Decoration thingies, and a lamp. where the FUCK am i gonna fit my stuff?? why is it SO full???? i dont have a closet or dresser or desk in there wtf. the other bedroom is being used as a laundry and drying room and there isnt even enough space in there. the closet is full of clothinghangers, blankets, various lamps ive removed from places they didnt fit, pillows, and a mattress, theres a vacuum and two norwegian flags?? a board for steaming and unwrinkling your clothes, and i moved the dumb fucking aesthetic clothinghanger bullshit.

staff ofc are protesting my every request for some kind of cooperation where they remove stuff and put it in storage so i can actually use the apartment and livingroom like a normal person. like. the massive dining table, four dining chairs, old taped chair, gamer chair, fuckton of plates and glasses and cups that match w absolutely nothing, two waterboilers, two kitchenmachines??are they old breadmachines?? the addons to the breadmachines, like 17 pot and pan tops with NO matching pot or pan, the broken footrest, coffeeboiler i wont be using, coffe bullshit i wont be using, extra coffeepot w no machine? the aesthetic clothinghanger and the norwegian flag none of these are neccessary in here. literally none of them. they SHOULD go into storage

anyways im gonna see if i cant move the shelf out of the other bathroom soon so i can atleast store my clothes SOMEWHERE. it doesnt even fit in the bathroom its in, its in the way for the only space where laundry could go that isnt the hallway in to the bathroom.

I haven't forgotten. Since my last post, my sister boxed up all my stuff from my parents house so she can move in there, and under the cover of night without a word to me, dumped 5, yes FIVE, SUV carloads of my stuff in my driveway. And when I called her out on how shit that was to do without texting me, she sends this whole effing diatribe on how me being on a single income isnt her fault, me being a hoarder isnt her fault, me being LAZY isnt her fault. Apparently, leaving my stuff there when I was forced to move into a TENT was TAKING ADVANTAGE of my parents. I started moving stuff into a storage unit and even though Dad told me not to and that it could stay, I still did move out what I could fit in the storage unit. I continued paying board for MONTHS after I left because my stuff was still there, until Mum DEMANDED I stop. But yes, I'm 'taking advantage'. She decided she wanted to move in by the end of July but renovate first and I told her straight up that I had my first house inspection June 28th and couldnt move anything before then, I was still unpacking and cleaning my new house right up until the moment the agent arrived for the inspection. I even called in sick the night before and worked through the night to have it ready. My fibro and arthritis make me epically slow. I try my best but I cant just try the pain away.

Anyway, she 'gets' that I have pain but that doesnt excuse me 'making other people wait until I can be bothered'. I dont have a problem with her boxing up my stuff. So its out of her way. I dont have a problem with her bringing it over. I have a big problem with her not saying a word and sneaking over in the middle of the night to leave it all in my driveway. The driveway of my rental, on a main street where my landlord could drive past at any time. Just a simple text it would have been fine and she could have saved both our backs by not bringing the stuff that was to go in the trailer for the tip ( a trailer I couldnt fill with my stuff myself because it was still full of HER stuff).

Mum and Dad are putting the house in mine and my sister's names with a granny-flatting clause, so we can inherit the house while they are alive, not have stamp duty or capital gains tax on it, but we have to keep a roof over their heads the rest of their lives. It doesnt have to be THAT roof, we just have to house them. It surprised me when my sister said she wanted to buy ME out because she had always been clear that she didnt want it. But I'm glad because I could no longer live with Dad and wasnt in a position to buy her out. She asked if she could not pay me out until next year when she came back from Japan and I was like "hey thats fine" she was putting a lot of money to the renovations before moving in so why not have her being able to live rent free for a few months to save up for a nice holiday before having to buckle down under a mortgage. See, once the house is in joint names, if one of us is living there, the other is entitled to their half of the rental value. But she's my sister, I wasn't going to ask her to pay rent to me just because my name is on the title. Besides, I knew it would take me a long time to finish getting my stuff out. I even offered to leave the bed, TV, and a couple of cabinets, so my old room would already be set up as a guest bedroom. She never said no thanks, she actually said "ok, cool." Then, when she dumped everything here, it included those things, things she KNEW were never coming here. But I digress. Half rent for my parents' place would be about what I'm paying for rent in the tiny house I'm in now. It would make my life so much easier. I would be able to afford the physical therapies that I haven't been able to in a long time. It would do wonders for my life and my health. But it was money I wouldn't have had anyway, so I could wait another year to get my health back on track, if it made it easier for her. My only sister.

She doesnt think she's done anything wrong. And is now saying she doesnt want to move in there and she'll tell our narcissistic father that I'm coming back. I dont think that apple fell far from the tree. I cant get it through her head that ALL SHE HAD TO DO WAS TEXT ME TO ASK WHAT TO BRING AND WHAT TO PUT IN THE TRAILER INSTEAD OF SNEAKING AROUND. Now, according to my father and her partner, I'm the one in the wrong. Because I said that's shit and disrespectful behaviour and if she doesnt have enough respect for me to send me a simple text message, why should I give up a year of rental income that's almost as much as I earn in a year. Oh that's right, because it's not HER fault I'm poor.

I unpacked A Box. I'm trying out this new thing called unpacking One Box per day. So that I can finally get all this shit unpacked. I moved here a YEAR ago and im only making an effort to unpack now.

wait... that thing about billy sending max a letter every few months, he always left his address as a PO box cause he didnt want anyone finding him, he checked it every few weeks for whenevr max wrote him back, sometimes it was just cash from susan cause she didnt know if he was safe. but one time it was a big box, not a letter, well there was a small note attached, saying that "I think you should have these -max" he opened it without hesitation cause he didnt know what it was, it was Steves stuff, all of it, his clothes, his music, the small shoebox from under his bed with all the polaroids, movie tickets from dates, and chunks of cash in a bag labeled 'California?'. it was put into storage or tossed out after the funeral, Hopper found it first, gave it to max, they both know who it should have gone to. even if it was hard for billy to handle.

Oh my god yes. He is confused at first because Max never sends parcels, only letters or photos of her and Susan doing whatever they were that month so when he is handed a box with the note he thinks its just some of his stuff he left until he opens it.

The first thing he sees is Steve's gym shirt. Its then he has to sit down and take a moment before carefully unpacking the box. Clothes in one pile, his scent gone and replaced with storage smell. Tapes in a stack for later.

When he gets to the shoebox that is when the tears start to fall, a smile along with it. All the Polaroids slowly laid out. Picture after picture of Steve smiling, laughing and one where he's curled into Billy's shoulder with this little soft smile that breaks him.

A sob slips out and then he sees the bag of cash and he grabs it and throws it across the room before sliding down off the sofa onto the floor. Curled up in a ball think why did this have to happen. Why did he have to run...

i finally decorated my journal (with only 21 pages left in it 2 lol) 2 relax after a looooong day of hard work. ignore my knuckle bending backwards thats normal it just does that.

i was up and down all day cleaning and taking pain breaks and organizjng and bleh. then i passed out 4 a few hours n missed my chance 2 shower so i gotta do it 2mrrw. which is my last day 2 do everything n i hav 2 go 2 my grandpas birthday 2. but i did literally so much 2day the rest of u bitches will never b on my level hell yeah. i unpacked 2 suit cases, like 5 tote bags, 3 or 4 boxes which i got rid of i cleared a bunch of storage space organized and repacked 2 drawers so all our new clothes r put away. organized my stickers. went thru all my moms yarns. got rid of a bunch of trash n old food. n my whole family was cleaning so even way more stuff got done like the dishes n stuf. idk i wasnt keeping track of everyone else lol

i didnt get around 2 eggtober and i may not tomorrow but im pretty sure ive drawn at least one egg for every day if u put them all 2gether so im not pressed @ all. i hope i get to do some tomorrow!! someone did an egg inspired by one of my sets 2day and i was like FUCK yeah cosmic egg buddies. im really rockin this eggtober thing luv seeing the nice tags n getting a ton of notes every day.

i reallyhope my package comes 2mrrw cuz day after we're having ppl over for crafts n the crafts r in that package :/ WHOA JUST CHECKED it no longer says it has an exception so 🤞 i think i will get it 2mrrw. thts gonna b so fun... 2mrrw will b sooo busy. at least we can do laundry while we're at my grandpas birthday and then finish putting clothes away. organized fresh clean clothes... i never really had that so its a novelty lol. excited 2 shower n eat a big brekfastwhen i wake up cuz i had a small dinner. probably i will ask my moms 2 order me pumpkin spice latte. for energyyyyy i will say. cleaning snergy. birthday energy. hell yeah. well the episode i wS watching is over so imma sign off and pass the fuck out goodnighty beloved followers. i win at everything etc

Ive rly gotta real in how frustrated i am abt work. I have SO MUCH to do today and monday, maybe even over the weekend idk. And im ending up doing part of everyone else's job bc if i dont its gonna suck even worse for me. Anyway, i woke up early bc i was annoyed and stressed, and ill feel better once i cross some of this bullshit off my list.

Fic is going well. I was worried itd peter out and become directionless. But it actually gained a bit more meat? Its def a different tone than the prev chapters before i took a break, but idk its prob okay. I might go back and do a pass on these newer chaps to fluff them up. I just want to get to the epilogue tho.

The sun has been setting later, and im like thank god. I feel like there's more time and i have more energy after work. Im excited for my bookshelf to arrive. Finally getting the last of my books off the floor has been a long time coming. There's not much else we didnt unpack and put away after the move. Maybe some stuff we typically keep in storage, but not much. Even with the insane amt of shit we bought in the past yr and a half (suddenly having a house that needs furnishing will do that), we still dont actually own that much stuff. But thats good. I kind of dont want a lot of random things unless theyre useful or especially meaningful.

And Im back! I hope you could go back and read the posts from saturday and sunday that I posted this morning. Im not feeling so great right now but I think Im just a little dehydrated. Im glad that I didnt feel sick basically at all this weekend, but it is disheartening that I am not feeling well now after such a good weekend. 

Last night we did crafts and hung out and got ready for bed. I slept in my winter coat and was very cozy. I slept alright but I had a weird dream that me and James had to leave that state because I committed insurance fraud. Very weird dream. We slept a little later today. James didnt need to make us a fire so he didnt wake me up until a little after 8. I thought it was later but we werent in a rush. I got cleaned up and dressed and eventually wandered to the bathrooms. 

We had breakfast on the camp stove. Im glad we brought that even if we didnt use it much. We made breakfast tacos and cleaned up. Me and Noelle worked on packing in bursts while the boys cooked. I spent a couple minutes in the hammock as a final moment of resting. I will miss my hammocks. 

And the packing went really well. And I am pleased about how me and James worked together to make things simpler for our next camp trip. Which may be in december? Were hoping for at least one more this year. 

But we werent done yet. Once we were packed up, we did a walk around to make sure there was no scraps, and stopped at the dumpsters to get rid of our trash. We waved at our camp hosts and then we were off to town. 

We got donuts and drinks. And I got my wish and we found a beach to go to. It actually was back towards camp, but a little further down the peninsula. And it was lovely. A sandy little beach. We brought the beach blanket mom got for me, and we had our snacks and drinks. Spent like an hour walking the beach collecting rocks and driftwood. Skipping stones. Taking pictures. It was lovely. But I was sad because I knew we were going to be heading home soon. 

And once we all used the bathroom and gave hugs it was time to leave. 

Its really not that far from home. It was a nice ride but I started feeling nauseous. James offered to stop for lunch but I was worried I would feel worse. But we ended up getting taco bell and it helped actually. 

We got home and I was so excited to see sweetP. We brought up some stuff and I was like. Kitty!!! And he seemed a little happy to see me but also like. Confused. Especially when we had to go back down to the car to get more of our stuff. We ran into Mr Will and he was working on the basement apartments. So I finally got to see two of the three down there. The one is mostly unfinished and he uses it as storage, The one he didnt have the key on him so I didnt see that one, but the finished apartment was so nice! Like if I was looking for a place that would be a nice one! It was cute! But the ceiling was bowing and he was going to replace it. It was neat to see it. 

Me and James unpacked things. I didnt feel great but I tried to keep it together. We put stuff away. And I started putting things to the side for the beach next week. I didnt feel great. But I thought a bath would help. James left to go for a bike ride. And I kept unpacking. I went to hand wash my mask and I accidently broke the sink stopper? It got stuck. I had to go and find a tool to fix it but I did! I was very proud. I took a bath and it helped. And then JAmes was home and we ordered pizza. I texted with Jess and laid in bed. We had pizza and churros. And then I took a nap. 

I think I am just dehydrated but I hope I can just shake whatever this feeling is off tomorrow. Well see. Now though Im going to go get some water and find James. I hope you all have a nice night. I hope tomorrow is great!

Stepping out of the car y/n inhaled deeply, taking in the place which she would soon call home. After so much effort she had finally been accepted onto her dream college course; criminal law.

She closed the car door and moved to get her bag and box full of random junk from the trunk. She looked down at the bit of paper which had the address of her new home that she was renting scribbled on it checking she was at the right place for the fifth time before slowly making her way towards the house.

Pushing her hair behind her ear she knocked on the door and waited for someone to let her in. as she stood their for what seemed like forever she failed to notice the dark shadow that came up behind her.

“y/n?” a deep male voice called out causing y/n to whip around dropping her box on the floor.

“Oh crap” she exclaimed crouching down to start gathering her various items. The man mimicked her movements.

“Sorry. I didnt mean to scare you” he chuckled as he picked up a small teddy bear before standing and handing it back to her. y/n stood as well and took the teddy from his hand finally looking at him properly. He was roughly her age and had dark blonde hair, he was handsome. “Umm are you…. Lucas?” she asked looking down at the paper that had the landlords name on as well. “No” he laughed “im Tom. Lucas’s grandson. He couldnt make it today so he sent me to let you in” he extended his hand for her to shake which she accepted before he pulled out a set of keys and moved to unlock the door for her allowing her to step inside. “So what brings you to this small town?” he asked, closing the door behind them both. Setting her stuff onto the table near the door she turned to him. “School. Im going to the college down the road to study criminal law” she leaned against the table as she talked. “Nice. i go there too.” he pointed to the hoodie he was wearing displaying the college logo. “ nice” she laughed “maybe you can show me round there too”. Tom smiled and looked down. “Sure.” there was a short silence at the two stared at each other. Tom broke the silence. “ok let me show you around and then i can get out of your hair” he walked off and lead her to the various rooms.

Following behind him Tom took y/n into the first room. The walls were grey and there was only basic items laid around the room; tv, sofa, bookcase, coffee table, etc. “so this is the living room. You’re obviously free the use anything as you see fit. Move stuff around and add your personal touch just try not to break anything” he laughed before pointing to another room “the kitchen is just over there and the laundry room is just beyond that. Same rules apply” he moved round into the kitchen “ the garden is obviously out here. Pantry over there. Pots, pans and plates are in the cupboards. She watched as Tom walked down the pathway before closing the door.

Leaning against the door y/n looked around quickly before pushing herself up and towards the box she abandoned earlier. Going through the items and picking up a picture frame of her and her parents. She smiled as she scanned the picture before placing it on the table. Her phone buzzed. Samantha flashed across the screen and she smiled, y/n had only been gone a few hours and her best friend was already calling her. “Y/NNN i miss you already please come back” samantha faked cried. “Oh shut up. Im only a 2 hour drive away. But i miss you too” y/n laughed. “So tell me whats happened so far? Whats your plan for the day? ” samatha asked. y/n walked into the front room and sat on the window ledge looking outside. “Well i was let inside by the landlords grandson an..” y/n was interupted “ohhhhh was he cutteeeeee” she dragged out the last word. “Yes he was actually. Umm i was about the unpack the rest of the stuff from the car and go get some groceries before i was so rudely interupted” y/n joked “ well you can go do that in a minute but first you will not believe what just happened to me….” samanthas voice was drowned out as y/ns attention was caught by the man across the street looking out his window and into y/ns house with a pair of binoculars. He was older but Even though she couldnt make out much of his appearance she could tell he was handsome.  “y/n…...y/n…. Are you even listening to me” y/n stood up and closed the curtains slightly freaked out. “Yhh i am. Umm Sam the guy across the street was just looking into my house with some binoculars” y/n said as she slyly peeked behind the curtains to see if he was still there. He was gone. “ its a small town. He was probably just looking to see who was moving in” samantha said confidently. those words made y/n feel silly. “Yhh you’re right. Im just being dumb” y/n paused feeling a bit better “ok im going to go i got a lot of stuff to do” y/n said. samantha sighed “ okkk fine. Message me later so i know youre not dead. Bye bitch” samantha hung up and y/n just laughed putting the phone down and opened the curtains again. Her first mission was to put up some nets.

A few hours had passed and all y/n had down was put on some music, put up some nets and unpacked a few boxes of stuff before there was a knock at the door. y/n jumped a little and moved to the door and looked through the spy hole. There was a man there with a tray in his hand. y/n moved to open the door revealing the man more clearly. He was tall, had long dark hair to frame his face that had slight stubble and whisky coloured eyes. He wore a basic white shirt which fit his frame perfectly and a pair of simple jeans. This man was handsome “hi . can I help you?” y/n asked . The man looked down at her and smilled“ hi. Im John. John wick. From across the road.`` John pointed to the house where she saw the guy looking at her earlier. “ I saw you moving in earlier and noticed you  saw me and I felt like a bit of a creeper so i thought i should come and introduce myself properly” he laughed and scratched the back of his neck. “ umm yeah sure its fine. Im y/n. It's nice to meet you ``. y/n extended her hand and he shook it. “I bought over some cookies. We don’t get many new faces around her so i thought this might be a good start at making you feel welcome” he handed her the cookies and she took them placing them on the table. “Thank you. I'm sorry I would invite you in but I only just got here and i have nothing to offer you” y/n said feeling a little guilty. John laughed “don't worry about it. I better leave you to settle in, it was nice meeting you. I’ll talk to you later “ john said and walked off before y/n could even say anything in response. She closed the door and felt a little confused. Confused as to why she got a weird feeling from the man who was litrally the guy of every girls dream and the man who had litrally been the perfect neighbour. y/n shook her head ‘dont be stupid y/n he’s just being a nice neighbour’ y/n thought to herself and proceeded to go about unpacking.

John walked back to his house with a smile on his face. His new neighbour had left a mark on him. A sense of want and need that he would not be forgetting anytime soon. John walked into his bedroom and leaned onto the windowsill looking at y/n house. He turned to pull the armchair he kept in the corner over to the window, he grabbed a glass of whisky and sat down looking out. Bringing the liquid to his lips he watched y/n's shadow through the curtains move around her house. "soon" he murmured to himself before he sipped on the drink. The second he saw y/n he knew he needed her for his collection and God knew if John Wick wanted someone for his collection then John wick would get them for his collection.

Day Off - 9/24/19

Woke up early to prep for fwb coming over only for him to cancel because work :/

I let myself mope around for about an hour before I started getting shit done.

My dog and I went for a long walk on some trails. I spent some more time unpacking and organizing my apt. I set up my laundry room, storage room (on the balcony), and my kitchen area.

I decided to have lunch at a buffet. It was pretty good but not amazing. Might go back from time to time.

I window shopped at a home decor store. Didnt buy anything...just like looking.

I made 2 trips to the grocery store...one for some produce and the other was to buy 4 packs of sparkling water. No Uber needed anymore!

While at the grocery store, I stopped off at the pharmacy and got my flu shot (free with my insurance) and transferred my prescriptions over.

I did a little meal prep - just some rice. I'll cook beans and some soup tomorrow before work.

I browsed a farmer's market before having some frozen pizza at home.

What’s been happening.

So for those of you who don’t know, my family and I moved out to Las Vegas. We drove the whole way and essentially packed 3 houses worth of stuff into a uhaul. What didn’t fit went into a storage unit in Indiana or into the garbage. Some stuff was donated, lots of clothes.

The drive sucked, as it took 3 days with 2 dogs and a cat that wouldn’t settle down. We didnt get a chance to see the country because of that, but whatever.

We got to Nevada and moved into the 3 bedroom apartment fairly slowly. It’s still not unpacked and I’ve had to sleep on a popper air mattress. My cat likes to dig her claws into it.

After about 3 ish weeks of being there, my mom and I have flown back to Indiana for a month to tie up loose ends. So I’m back at ground zero, sleeping on a couch with only an iPod to entertain me. 3 more weeks. Maybe when I get back I’ll be able to get a computer and come back to rp.

Who knows.

I hope by then not everyone will have given up on me, as I’m well aware some of you already have.

Really slow day sales wise and unfortunately the gift romper that you sold yesterday came back becuase it didnt fit his wife.. I processed a refund a the customers request since it was 24 hrs and apparenly very dissapointing for them. processing this return made him very happy and explicitly said he would be back to shop again.

Tori and I unpacked and accounted for everything that Matthew sold in chicago -- the draft invoice has been updated but matthew has to cross check it to appy discounts where necessary, Once that happens we will process the invoice so the items are removed from inventory. ( As of now I set them to be reserved, so fingers crossed our inventory should be good online.... )

The XL apollow for Williams online order is under the stove == please ask what the plan is for that.

Please relay to M we need new deadlock for sundeck door!! Also that he has some mail behind jewelry case and a check in the bank bag!

The fair suitcases have apollo overstock that has to be sent to storage....

When was the last time you felt extremely nervous? tonight when waiting for responses from kile regarding questions. When was the last time you cried? Tonight. I hard sobbed, which I thought maybeeee, maybe just maybe I was past this stage with Kile but I’m so not. He maybe?? thought or realized I was genuine about leaving, given the fact I am more and more and more withdrawn. So he asked about us talking, since that’s the big thing we could tackle instead of just harshly cutting ties. He has avoided talking about this since I found out about everything.. I think it gives him a lot of anxiety to unpack just how much hurt he’s caused. I can empathize with that. But I can’t just gloss over this huge trauma like it meant nothing. So we talked a little bit and he assumed I was judging (which is one of my absolute least favorite things he accuses me of) and then when I explained I wasnt, he said he was just being sensitive and he was sorry. for whatever reason, I just.. i feel like a balloon that’s been popped. my heart just desires him so badly but he has these barriers and now I have a million of my own barriers and I hate having barriers with him. ive worked so hard for so long to break those down and now theres more than I can count and I just.. i want to understand. I want to stop the feelings that I’m not worth the truth. Like i’ve been kept in the dark for 6+ years and now that I’m told some things, I’m still kept in the dark. I just can’t win. there’s nothing left for me and it just wrecked me. I sobbed, I couldn’t breathe. my heart hurtssssssssss. i just want him to be here and fix it and he can’t. what do you do when the one person who could stop the hurt, causes it?

you were a junior in your high school

so as an annual tradition, each junior class has to conduct something special for their class to bond before the start of the school year

because in sophomore year you all were in different classes

so you kind off had to get to know each other

your newly elected class representative, lee daehwi, suggested a 24 hour challenge at a chalet

and it was somehow approved by the school

it was supposedly “innovative” and a “fresh idea”

anyways

everyone in your class managed to chip in a little fee to book the chalet for a full day

luckily in your new class you knew a few people from your sophomore class

you thought about skipping cause you thought it would be weird lmao

but your friend dragged you along because she loves exploring new things

so ofc you went

class spirit!

on the day of the 24 hour challenge

everyone gathered at the booked chalet at about 3pm

& our amazing class rep split the class up into small groups of 4 to their rooms to unpack

boys & girls rooms duh

at about 4pm everyone was gathered back at the common room

and he began explaining the ground rules

like no alcohol, no illegal substances etc

and no electronics

so he had to confiscate everyone’s phone lmao

he also explained the itinerary of the full 24 hours

and he said everyone could hang around until 6pm, where people had to gather at the bbq pit for dinner

after dispersing, you were left defenseless without your precious phone

so you went to the kitchen

isnt the kitchen everyone’s safe haven lmao

and started socializing with your new classmates

you made a few friends surprisingly 

and it was fun overall

stirring your cup of coffee, you looked over at the common room decked with kinect & wii games

you spot this really enthusiastic kid that dragged his friend to switch on just dance to play

seeing the slightly taller guy dance made you smile a little

he seemed like a really reserved guy, but he looked like he was having lots of fun with his friend

it was really cute

so you never thought you would do this

but you joined them

since just dance could play up to 4 people

you decided why not

you never tried just dance

and you played a game with them

yes, without asking their names

after this extremely long and strenuous song

you got second place

with the taller guy in last

you look over to expect a defeated look

but he was still smiling like how he did 10 minutes ago

he was panting yeah

trying to regain his breath on the couch

he was generally just a really happy guy

you kindoff guessed it when he entered the class on the first day and gave everyone a sweet and a card with a happy face sticker on it

who was still dancing away

was named guanlin

after chatting a bit with seonho you decided to help out at the bbq pit

and you saw daehwi & your friend chatting away

they were exchanging jokes and giggles

and you just pressed your hand against the glass pane and smiled

then you heard someone next to you say,

“i ship them too, they’re cute,”

you faced him, to see guanlin pressing his arm against the glass pane as well

“oh, hello, i’m y/n,” you turned to him and greeted

and he did the same

as you threw him a towel from the drawer to wipe his sweat, you asked,

“should we disrupt their moment?”

guanlin shook his head

“nah, it’s their moment,” he said, smiling as he walked away

you watched him as he walked away

and that kindoff concluded your first interaction with him

the guy with the smile that needed to be protected

after some good dinner

(daehwi made sure eVEryone was full)

he said it was time for gamES!!

you could hear seonho frm the other side of the room squeal

& it was hide and seek

you swore you haven’t played hide and seek ever since you were 8

but you were convinced that you could find a great hiding spot

you kindoff saw a spot earlier that no one wld ever suspect (!!)

so once the seeker began counting down, you loitered a bit first

cause you wanted to see everyone scatter

maybe you could find a better spot

but you ultimately went to your spot

which was this camouflaged door under the stairs that led to a small storage area

you weren’t afraid of small spaces

so why not

you opened the door to see 

well

a tall fella

sat in the corner

before you could apologize and leave, the seeker had already announced he would begin

and guanlin grabbed your wrist, pulled you in and shut the door

uhh it was kindoff a small space

so it was just you and guanlin

in the dark

uncomfortably close

you were both sitting in silence

you wanted to say something

but the seeker could hear you guys talking if you did

so you kept quiet

you could still see some of guanlin’s face due to the fading light falling into through the thin walls

he had literally no flaws

how can a guy have flawless skin?!?

without thinking you blurted out,

“sO-”

before you could even continue tho

he grabbed your wrist again

his hand shocked you lmao

so you fell forward a bit & he caught you

& you could smell his scent

like

you felt like you did injustice

and you backed up a bit and whispered sorry

thanks to the light

you couldnt see the red fading on guanlin’s cheeks

oh & god damn your ears were all red too

ugh just kiss already

anyways

the seeker was left with you two

and could not find you two

so you two crawled out of the little storage room 

everyone didn’t expect the two of you to be together

in an enclosed space

so there were a bit of murmurs

daehwi exCLAIMED,

“NO” you blurted

daehwi started laughing

and everyone did too

except you and guanlin

you literally thought they were interrogating you

but it was a joke

you fake-laughed

you turned around to see him

just looking away

occasionally rubbing his cheeks

after the game, it was curfew, & you managed to escape to your room as quickly as possible

and dug your face into your pillow

and you just lied there for 10mins

and did not notice your friend enter

“what was the deal with guanlin? are you all a thing?” your friend asked as she sat on your bed

“uughhhhhhh”

“so i take that as a no?”

you sit up and faced her

“it was embarrassing,” you said & covered your face

“pff, it’s okay, have a good nights rest okay?” she said, patting your back

after sulking a bit more, you decided to change into your pjs

as you walked out of the room door, you noticed guanlin walking to his room wearing his freshly changed pjs

it was a matching set of fluffy pjs

it was so adorable wtf

wHy were you feeling these?!?

you shook your head vigorously

like girl

you cant fall for some guy you just met

you did a quick change and went to sleep

but through hours of tossing and turning

you couldnt sleep

you just couldnt sleep in a new environment

partially another reason you didnt want to come

you would naturally grab your phone and scroll around on instagram or something

but since you didnt have it

you just laid on your bed

looking at the clock

it was almost 3am

you sighed

you had nothing to do

so you decided to go down to kitchen and make yourself some hot tea

it was really soothing to you

as you floated down the stairs craving for your tea

you noticed the kitchen light on

you peeked in

and saw guanlin standing there with his own cup of drink

before you could run away from the embarrassment previously

he called out your name

“yo y/n! you up too?”

you found his raspy voice so bEauTifuL

you slowly spun around

and reminded yourself to not remember the incident previously

and you did

“uhh, y-yeah,” you stammered, and walked past him to make a drink

he saw you, it was impossible to just walk away again

“ahaha yeah, me too, i can’t sleep in new places,”

while the hot water was pouring into your cup, you turned around

“rEally?” you said too enthusiastically

and he was shocked

“o-oh sorry hah, i have the same problem,” you said, collecting your drink

looking out of the window, you said

“i just never knew someone with the a similar, yknow,”

guanlin hummed in agreement

the next hour was just spent talking

about anything tbh

about how you never really saw him in freshman and sophomore year because he was that timid

about grades

until you two finished your midnight drinks

you two walked up the stairs back to your rooms together

as you turned the doorknob to your room, he ruffled your hair and passed by behind you

“goodnight, y/n”

you could hear a smile from his voice

which made your heart melt ok

you returned to your bed and kindoff reflected

you would be spending two more of your years in school with your cRush

oh god u admitted your crush

and you fell asleep to the thought that you would be able to see that smile everyday

he had the smile again

the captivating one

you sigh and just look his way

you had the urge to make him smile like that

and you really wanted to see him smile because of you
