Um VK has sledged the omegas enough too. He went at Stu during the 2018 England test series (Ali's last, ig). So basically Stu dismissed Rishabh Pant, who was on debut, and gave him an explosive send-off. VK, obviously went and took objection to that, and gave Stu a piece of his mind when the latter came out to bat.

Again, VK and Joey were involved in some bat drop controversy in 2018, when Ind toured eng. During the decider of the ODI series, Joey hit a four to reach his century as well as get the winning runs for England, and celebrated by dropping his bat. VK remembered that, and during the 1st Test of the same series, he ran Joey out and subsequently did a mic drop celebration and also blew Joey some kisses as a send-off. He was called petty for that, but Joey himself said in an interview that he found VK's celebration funny.

I can't really remember VK sledging Starcy; maybe he might have during the 2018 Ind vs aus border gavaskar trophy, but tbh that doesn't really stand out, because that series, VK seemed to be determined to give a mouthful to every single Australian on field, for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

VK and Tim again seem to share a good equation off the field, because they played together at RCB, and it shows in their on-field interactions too. I can't remember either of them going at each other much, apart from the 2023 WC semi final, where they had a bit of banter, but again it was funny and in good humour, not a hostile and swear-y encounter like some of VK's other sledging episodes. VK's sledged Marnus sometimes, but they've also been clicked smiling and giggling together, so again, just like Tim, I don't think there's any hostility there, just some banter.

Yeah like I said, on the pitch a player is a player. VK doesn’t care if their alpha, beta, omega or otherwise - he will take his competitive advantage if he thinks it’ll help his team win

Aww no wait, let's make the Marn/Shub thing a bit comedic 😜 So as you said, Marnie has a VERY overactive imagination, and thinks he heard the door click. Maybe he had a nightmare about something like that, and jerking awake, he confuses it for real life. Either way, he thinks an Indian alpha is coming to 'get' him and makes a desperate dash for Shubman. Shubman is fast asleep by now, so he doesn't notice when Marn flies at him, snuggling into his chest. Shub's scent is so comforting, his heartbeat is a soothing lullaby, and Marn soon finds himself lulled to sleep. But instead of Shub waking up to find Marn cuddled up next to him, well, I hc Marn as a very restless sleeper. So sometime during the night, Marn is tossing and turning and he accidentally kicks Shubman off the sofa. Shubman jerks awake as he finds himself suddenly and unceremoniously dumped on the floor. 😂😂😂

"What the fuck?" He mutters blearily. When he discovers Marn on the sofa, he's bemused. No amount of prodding and shaking can wake him up, so Shubman just slips his hands under Marn's thighs, sweeps him into his arms and carries him back to the bed. He lays him down gently. Then as he moves to leave, Marn holds onto his hand and mutters sleepily. "Shubman? Hmmm... don't leave... feel safe around you..." Shubman is pleasantly surprised and cautiously gets into bed with Marn, drawing the omega into his arms.

Also... 2024 Ind vs Eng test series, which Ind won 4-1. Stu has retired by now, so which omega gets sent over? Ollie? Since harry wasn't playing. Opportunity for some Shubman & Ollie protectiveness?

Also, headcanon that while initially, Yashasvi hates Shubman for his playboy lifestyle, he develops respect for him after seeing how he treats the omegas India win in the bets. But Shubman might be doing a very gallant thing, but Yashasvi still gets jealous when he spots an opposition omega wearing Shub's jersey. 🤭😂 Cue Yashasvi seeing Shub bundling Ollie in his shirt and his blood boiling in rage and jealousy and suddenly his fingers are itching to scratch Ollie's eyes out. 😂😂 Shub can't fathom why Yashasvi is so short with him for the rest of the day.

I love Steve getting jealous after Smelling Shub on Marn. He definitely wants to go have a talk with Shub but Marn stops him like, "Don't you dare. He is the most decent alpha I ever met and the only reason I'm smelling of him is because it was the only way he could think of to protect me from the other alphas."

To make matters a bit spicy, let's say for some reason, instead of VK, Yash is the omega getting sent over to the Aus dressing room after 2024/25 BGT. Shubman is out of his mind with worry. He drops Yash to the Aussie dressing room, jaw set. Before handing Yash over, he beckons Pat over and snaps. "I was decent to your omega back in 2020/21. You owe me for that. There better not be one scratch on Yash's body when we get him back or I swear to all the gods, I'll hunt down every alpha in your team, and make you regret it."

I do love Yash starting to see his feelings turning for Shub. He still thinks he's a playboy, but he can't ignore how kind and compassionate Shub always seems to be with the playing omegas. He idly wonders what it would be like for Shub to direct that soft protectiveness at him, but quickly banishes the idea because he's not supposed to like Shub; he's a playboy and would sleep with him and drop him faster than he could blink.

Then he sees another omega wearing Shub's hoodie and he can't control the rage that fires within him. VK or someone notices and tries to ask if he's alright, but Yash just shrugs it off. The next day, he calls Jos ranting about how floosie Shub is, how he's just scenting any omega that enters their dressing room, only for JOs to point out it's very normal to feel jealous if the alpha you like is scenting other people.

That's when, when the team go out for a celebration, Yash asks Shub for his jacket, rather than taking Pat's from VK.

So it wouldn't be Shub doing the delivering, but he defo finds Pat during the presentations to make his point. Although I'm really not sure why VK wouldn't be sent, considering it's Aus they're playing. Unless BCCI take the decision out of their hands, refuse to send VK even though he has his bonded alpha's permission? Then it makes sense - also makes sense the board don't want to send VK; it's not really a bet if you're sending the omega to his bonded alpha.

Pat just smirks when Yash arrives already bundled in Shub's jumper. I can see Steve being a bit petty (even though I think Marn and he are together now) and putting his OWN jumper on the omega to send Yash back to Shub smelling like him. You know, for old time's sake :P

Bonus points - Marn stops him because he has a soft spot for Shub and Yash is literally hiding in Shub's hoodie as a comfort
