This is a tough one as I wasn't particularly drawn to anyone in Veilguard. I initially wanted to romance Lucanis, but that was cut short when I chose to save Minrathous instead of Treviso 💔

I tried going for Davrin, but there can be only one Grey Warden in my heart and that is Alistair. I ended up with Emmrich and I have to say I think he has the romance with the most content, as well as the most romantic one 💚

For my canon however, I chose Lucanis, as I find him a better match for my Rook. I see Emmrich more like a mentor and friend than a romantic partner.

I wanted to romance Dorian, but having a female Inquisitor made it impossible. Next in line was Cullen, but little did I know Solas would capture the heart of my Lavellan 🧝🏼‍♀️

I made my own canon where my girl got together with Cullen after Solas left her. However, in Veilguard, she leaves him behind and reunites with her one true love in the Fade 💚

I had a difficult time choosing who to romance. At first, I wanted to go for Fenris, but he was too angsty for my taste. Then I moved on to Anders who was a huge disappointment to me. Finally, I ended up with Isabela and I think she works very well with my humorous rogue Hawke ❤️

Mine is Alistair 🥰 It was my first fully fledged romance in a video game and it stands strong up to this day ❤️

During my first Dragon Age Origins playthrough, my intention was to romance Zevran, but instead my city elf Warden fell madly in love with Alistair🤴🏼 She helped him become king, but because I picked an unfortunate dialogue option, he broke up with her 💔

She didn't agree to Morrigan's ritual, still hoping they would get back together. At the end, when it became clear that both of them wouldn't survive, she made the ultimate sacrifice and killed the Archdemon 🗡🐲

I remedied the situation in my subsequent playthrough which is now my canon, where she remained Alistair's mistress and they are both alive and well. However, looking back, I now believe the way things turned out the first time makes a more epic story 😆
